She knew two things. Her marriage might really be over and that she was pregnant.

Nathan had confessed to Lucas that the crash on the track.
Had been on purpose. Losing Haley had destroyed. So much so he didn't recognize himself anymore.
Lucas with Karen's help. Got the information needed to get Nathan some professional help.
Nathan was relieved to see Lucas pull up in front of the mental Instution.
He put his suitcase into the backseat and got into the passenger side.
The expression on Lucas's face softened. As he pulled his brother into a hug.
Nathan hugged him back. When they pulled apart.
Lucas gazed at him. "You look great. Healthy. Strong."
"The offer still stands if you want to stay with me and my mom." Lucas said.
"I appreciate it but i should be at home. My mom is really trying to make up for mistakes made. Dan too." Nathan explained.
