Anna walks into the kitchen to see her mom half-asleep drinking coffee. "Another dream?"

"Yes… I called Rory per our agreement that I take turns waking you guys up when I have a nightmare." She rubs her temples.

"I can't be expected to handle your neediness by myself. I can't care if Rory is in Washington. She still has to deal with her responsibilities here." Anna made herself a cup of coffee and sat down across from her mother.

"Well, I'll have you know that I fell out of bed trying to reach for the phone." She gave her an accusing stare.

"The way you tangle yourself in the sheets, you would have fallen out of bed getting out of it to wake me up." Anna reaches over to grab some waffles from the eggo pile.

"Do you want to hear about my dream?" She asked.

"Didn't you already talk about this with Rory?" She didn't need to get into her mother's head so early in the morning.

"I could use another point of view. I'm sleeping in bed while wearing this fabulous nightgown, and like thirty alarm clocks go off. I get out of bed and I walk downstairs, and there, standing in the kitchen, is Luke!" She started to tell her dream.

"Is this some weird sex dream because I have to look at Luke today?" She was ready to put her hands over her ears if it got gross.

"No, it was domestic. He was making breakfast. Eggs, pancakes. and bacon. He put decaf coffee in my regular coffee bag, which of course I knew immediately." She brags.

"How could you not?" Anna nods.

"Right, any sane person would know the difference. So eventually I find the real stuff under the sink. He hands me my breakfast, and then . . " She trails off.

"Did he give you a different type of sausage?" Her hands were raised to the side of her head. "No, that would have been less freaky. He kissed me and talked to my stomach!" She told the part that made it a nightmare.

"Why?" Anna tilts her head.

"Because apparently, I'm pregnant! With Twins." She screams the last part.

"Sounds like you got some weird breeding kink." She sips her coffee.

"Why do I have perverted daughters?" She sighs.

"Because we have a perverted mother." She laughed.

"Susanne." She pouts.

"Oh the whole name, you're really freaking out, huh?" She put some syrup over her waffles.

"Rory thinks it's because I'm jealous of Sherry." She rested her head on her hand.

"Maybe… you were close to having that with dad. It makes sense that your brain goes for your constant male presence." She didn't find it weird that her mind went to Luke when it thought of domestic life. He fed her every day and put up with all her crazy quirks.

"I thought it was going to happen this time." She looks down into her coffee.

"I know," She reached over to squeeze her mom's hand.

"I'm so excited." Anna hops from one foot to the other as she watches people prepare for the Stars Hollow End of Summer Madness Festival.

"How does this town have the funds for all these events?" Jess didn't think a small town had this much money to be holding an event every month.

"I have this theory that Taylor is old-money rich. As a kid, he watched a lot of those romantic Hallmarks movies that always take place in a small town. So, when he grew up he started to make Stars Hollow into that Hallmark town." She explains.

"That makes a lot of sense because Taylor is in charge of everything." Jess thought about it.

"Some say I'm a crazy conspiracy theorist but I make sense." She taps her head.

"Just with this." He smirks.

"Huh? You said you agreed with my jam theory." She turns sharply to stare at him offended.

"I said that so we could go back to fooling around." He shrugs.

"I never felt so violated." She put a hand up to her chest.

"You enjoyed yourself." He threw an arm around her waist to pull her along to the bookstore.

Anna and Lorelai were at the airport waiting for Rory. "Hey, Gilmore!" Lorelai screamed when she saw her oldest.

"Mom! Anna!" She ran over. They had a group hug that ended up putting all of them on the ground.

"Oh, oh! Luckily there are video cameras everywhere that caught that very graceful moment on tape." Lorelai laughed. They sat up and moved their bags out of the way.

"I am so glad to see you!" Rory smiled at her family.

"No, I'm glad to see you!" Lorelai and Anna beam at her.

"I'm never leaving home again." Rory whines.

"Oh, that's my emotionally stunted girl! Hey, we got you gifts." She put the shopping bags in front of Rory.

"What? I'm the one that left town, I'm supposed to get you gifts." She looks at the two large bags.

"Oh, but I got here early and there was nothing to do except feed gummy bears to the bomb-sniffing dogs which the United States government frowns upon." Lorelai rolls her eyes.

"You guys got in trouble with the government while you were waiting for me?" Rory gasps.

"We were just trying to give the dog a break. Why does he have to work hours on end while the handlers get breaks." Anna defends them.

"Oh my god, well, I'm happy you two didn't get arrested." She laughs.

"Okay, here you go." Lorelai pulls a shirt out of the gift bag.

"Wow, a Hartford, Connecticut sweatshirt." She looks through the gift bags. "Hartford, Connecticut notebook, Hartford, Connecticut pencil set, a Hartford, Connecticut shot glass."

"And beer mug!" Anna nods.

"Hartford baguette, Hartford bear, Hartford sunglasses." She took the sunglasses out.

"You like?" Lorelai smiles.

"I love it." She put them on.

"Alright, let's go. We'll get your bags, then we'll hit the road, and I can't wait to hear all about Washington. And, by the way, I got you out of dinner with the Gilmores tonight. I thought you and Dean might enjoy a little Peaches and Herb time together." She winks.

"Oh, thanks. What'd you tell 'em?" She looks down at her shoes.

"That you get home tomorrow." She explains her genius plan.

"Big fat lie." She smiles.

"Yes, which proves how much I love you. The fact that I was willing to lie to my parents who I never lie to just so you could have a night of happiness is proof positive of the deep undying devotion that I have for you." She stood up and helped them stand up.

"I appreciate that." Rory nods.

"And all that devotion can be yours for the low, low price of $29.95!" She sings.

"Forget it." Rory turns around.

"Okay, I'll throw in a set of steak knives," Lorelai adds on.

"My bags, please?" She looks at her over her shoulder as she walks away.

"Are you telling me that you want this gesture of love for free? What kind of world are you living in?" Lorelai chases after her. Anna put some distance between them, so people wouldn't know she was with the crazy lady.

The Gilmore Girls walk through the front door with Rory's bags. "Oh my God, you do know one option was leaving some of your books at home?" Lorelai groans, dropping the heaviest bag.

"Hey, I offered to carry that one." Rory closed the door after Anna came in.

"Next time, don't offer, insist. Look, I'm lopsided now." She made one side of her body go slack.

"I can't believe I'm home. I feel like I've been away forever." She ran further into the house.

"I agree." They followed her.

"Hello, living room." Rory greeted the room where many movie marathons were held.

"Hello Rory, we missed you. Not the ottoman, of course, but everyone knows he's a snob. Napoleon complex, he only really likes the magazine rack." She put a hand on each of her shoulders.

"Oh my God, I missed everything. My kitchen, my room, my books, my CDs, my stuff." Rory ran into her room before popping back out. "Where's my pillow?"

"What?" Lorelai made it sound like a ridiculous question.

"You took my pillow." Rory accuses.

"I told you she would notice," Anna told her mom that Rory would notice right away if she took her favorite pillow.

"You waited until I left, you went into my room, and you took my pillow." Rory narrows her eyes.

"Anna took your green necklace." She points at her youngest.

"What else did you take?" She crosses her arms.

"I put everything back." Anna glared at her mom because Rory didn't need to find out.

"Nothing. Your comforter came into my room by itself. . .and brought your Bauhaus T-shirt with it." Lorelai pouts.

"I want my stuff back by tomorrow morning," Rory demands.

"Just 'cause you leave doesn't mean the world stops." Lorelai gave her an excuse.

"By noon." She puts her foot down.

"Fine." Lorelai pushes the play button on the answering machine.

"Lor, it's me, please just call..." She deleted Chris's message.

"Dad?" Rory asks.

"Yeah, he's been calling every day," Anna told her.

"Still haven't talked to him yet, huh?" Rory looks at her mother.

"No, you?" Lorelai asked.

"Nope." She shook her head.

"Anna has talked to him." Lorelai nods to her youngest.

"Really, what he says?" Rory asks.

"That he wants to be a part of the baby's life. I told him he could do that without being with Sherry. But, he wants full-time, not part-time and he can't do that unless he is with Sherry. I don't know, it's a shitty situation. I mean even for Sherry if you think about it." Anna had a few uncomfortable conversations with her dad until they were able to move on from it.

"How?" Lorelai didn't see how Sherry was a victim in this.

"They were basically done when she got pregnant, so she knows dad is only staying with her for the baby. She might be too. I wouldn't want to be with someone or have someone be with me because of circumstances." Anna was able to see it from both sides.

"I get that..." Lorelai sighs before she groans realizing what she needs to do. "I have to tell my parents tonight."

"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you and . . . I don't know, distract 'em?" Anna offers.

"I already told you I don't want you to be there for Emily's meltdown. You saw enough fights between Grandma and me." She didn't want Anna's opinion on her grandma to be tainted.

"Okay, I'm gonna change then." Anna went up the stairs. She dressed comfortably for the airport pick-up but she wanted to look cute for the festival.

"Remember we're picking up Sookie and Jackson," Lorelai yelled up the stairs to let her know she had to hurry.

Anna changed into a short floral summer dress, a jean jacket, and black sandals. She spun around in front of the mirror after she did her hair and make-up. She always likes dressing up but she especially liked getting dressed up for Jess. He wasn't the type to shower her with compliments, but he was clingy when she dressed up. He would constantly have his arms wrapped around her or holding her hand. She would never admit to being touch-starved but since Jess was back she constantly wanted contact with him.

Lorelai, Anna, and Rory walk out of some bushes near Sookie and Jackson's house. "See, three minutes faster. I also found a way to get to Al's Pancake World that shaves a good forty seconds off our normal route."

"Did you not give her any attention when I was gone?" Rory looks at Anna.

"I have a life." Anna spent her summer working at Lukes and hanging out with friends or Jess.

"I was neglected." Lorelai faked crying.

As they walked up Sookie and Jackson's front steps, they could hear yelling from inside. "Are you crazy? Have you lost your mind?" They heard Jackson screaming.

"I don't understand why you're so upset," Sookie said. They opened the door but didn't step inside.

"How can you not understand? I told you a thousand times." Jackson didn't want to live in this.

"I thought you were just being nice." Sookie puts a decoy duck down on the table.

Lorelai, Anna, and Rory peek through the front door. Sookie has redecorated the living room. It looked like a stereotypical hunter's house with stuffed animal heads hanging on the wall, a bearskin rug, and camo everywhere. "Nice. . .nice? This is nice. . .this is nice?" He points to a life-sized stuffed grizzly bear.

"Well, it's masculine!" Sookie points at it.

"No, it's terrifying! I swear I'm gonna come out in the middle of the night for a drink of water, turn around, hit the floor, and play dead!" The bear was positioned with its paws up like it was going to attack.

"Okay, so, we have a little work to do." Sookie could find another way to make this work.

"Just put it back the way it was." He didn't see why she wasn't understanding.

"No, I want you to be happy!" She couldn't see him happy with the flower wallpaper.

Lorelai pulls Rory and Anna away from the house and toward the festival. "We'll just check on them a little later."

"Excellent idea." The daughters nod.

They walk into the crowd. "Okay, so, do we do cheese stick, hot dog, cotton candy, or do we mix it up a little, start with the cotton candy and end with the cheese stick? Who are you looking for?" Lorelai asked when she saw Rory was looking around.

"No one, I'm just taking in all the madness, that's all." She said a little too quickly.

"I'm going to meet Jess." Anna ran off to meet him at the tree they agreed upon. Rory stared at her sister's back as she went.

She skips over to him as she sings along with the band. "Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. Those days of soda and pretzels and beer. Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. Dust off the sun and moon and sing a song of cheer. Just fill your basket full of sandwiches and weenies. Then lock the house up, now you're set. And on the beach, you'll see the girls in their bikinis. As cute as ever but they never get 'em wet." She spins as she dances around him.

Jess pulled her into a kiss that turned into making out. "Hey, I had a few more verses." She pouts.

"I know, that's why I kissed you." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh, so it wasn't because you were taken by my summer dress." She spins around. "And here I thought you wouldn't be able to control yourself and have to take me behind the tree."

"Is that what you want?" He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her against him. He gave her ass a firm squeeze. She giggled as he pulled her into another kiss.

"Jess." She screeches when he slips his hand under her dress. "We're not even behind the tree."

"Who says we're not? Who can tell the difference between the front of the tree and the back of it?" He teases.

"I'll have you know that a man has to win me a big stuffed animal before he can undress me." She grabs his hand to pull it off her ass and tugs him towards the game booths.

"The last time it was a movie and ice cream. You're becoming a cheaper lay with every day that goes by. I gotta say that it's making me love you more." He pulled her towards the dart booth, where you had to pop the balloons.

Jess had 29 small unicorns, he needed 30 to exchange it for the big one. "What's going on?" Rory made her way through the crowd that was building to watch Jess. Dean was trailing behind her.

"Jess is going to get Chance Sassy Shadow a mother." Anna watched. The crowd cheered when he popped the balloon. The worker took all the small ones back and handed him the big toy. Jess threw it at her. She hugs it tightly. "I'm so happy."

"You better be, that thing made me broke." He looked down at his empty wallet. He would have to take back the thing he said about her being a cheap lay.

"I'll love it for all my life." She kissed its horn.

Dean saw Rory staring at them longingly. "What? You want a stuffed animal too. I can win you one."

"Huh…. you don't have to." She blushed that she was caught staring.

"If you want I can get you a small one." Jess offers.

"I can do it." Dean glares.

"I'm sure you can, I'm just offering." He put his hands up.

"Dean, he's just being nice." Rory grabs her boyfriend's hand.

"I can do that booth." He pulled Rory to a basketball booth.

"That was awkward." Anna sings.

"Umm…. You got your stuffed animal, so let's get you naked." Jess pulled her to Lukes.

They were able to sneak past Luke and up to his room. The second his door closed, they were on each other. Jess lifted up her dress to shove his hand into her panties. "That soak from watching me throw darts."

"No... just being near you." She gasps when he slides two fingers in.

"Aren't you a sweet talker?" He picked her up by the back of her thighs to carry her to the bed. He dropped her down and lay down on top of her. "You are a little temptress, wearing this tiny dress." He pulled her dress over her head.

"I like getting you riled up in public." She grabs his belt to pull it off, unbuckles his jeans to tug them off along with his boxers. Somehow along the way of stripping each other, she ends up on top of him. She grabs a condom from his nightstand and puts it on him. She squatted over him. He lined himself up as she lowered herself.

She rode him slowly, wanting to feel every inch of him. Jess wasn't satisfied by that. He grabs her hips to put her underneath him. He drilled into her making her moan and wrap her legs around him. She dug her heels into his back as she grinds her hips to match his pace. "You like riling me up in public. But, it doesn't compare to how I can rile you up in private." He wrapped his hand around her throat to give it a quick squeeze.

She felt herself tighten around him. She let out a whimper when he rubbed her throat before squeezing again. "Fuck." She cums around him.

"I didn't even have to touch your clit this time." He bragged as he fucked her through her orgasm.

"That's why I keep you." She massaged his arm that was holding onto her throat.

He snapped his hips as he cum into the condom. He rolled off her to pull off the condom and tie it up. He threw it into the trash can that was across the room like it was a ball of paper. "Oh my god." Anna's eyes went wide.

"What? I made it." He looks over his shoulder at her.

"No, your back. I didn't realize I left my heels on." She looks at his bruised lower back.

"I don't feel it." He shrugs.

"You're going too in the morning." She rubs the sore spot.

"Then stay and be my pillow so I can sleep on my stomach." He pushed her back down and laid his head on her breasts. She ran her fingers through his curls making him go to sleep.
