Polly's warehouse was located on the outskirts of town, after the war had ended the remains of the destroyed robots had to be put somewhere but no one could agree where. Many suggested that they be buried, others suggested they be melted down and used to make statues of the beings from another world, and one guy suggested making an army to take over the multiverse, (there was always one guy who never learned.)

It was decided that the robots would be kept safely in storage, unable to be used for evil again.

Polly Petunia Plantar hated this, when Yunan and Olivia moved to Wartwood she immediately started to beg them to let her have some of the robots to experiment on them, she was of course, turned down.

After five years of begging and pleading it was agreed that Polly could have access to some of the robot under three conditions.

One: She didn't use them for evil. They made sure she promised this with her fingers uncrossed.

Two: she would conduct her expirement s away from the town for safety.

Three: Whenever Olivia and Yunan wanted a date night Polly would babysit Marcy.

With those conditions agreed upon Polly finally got to work as an inventor.

Over the past five years, she had come to understand how a lot of the robots worked, her expeditions into the old factories had given her enough new information about old Amphibia, and part of her believed it was her duty to try and elevate Amphibia to the place it was one thousand years ago but better.

Despite this, she was still the same Pollywog she'd ever been tough but sweet inside.

Sprig ran towards the warehouse, It was easy to find. Just ask anyone where the nearest metal monstrosity was and they would point you in it's direction, It was the size of three barns and as tall as the farm, it was constructed out of metal, some from the robot army.

As Sprig neared the Warehouse he noticed something was outside the tower, something big, at first he thought it might have been a tree.

That theory vanished the moment the tree turned, the 'tree' was wearing a cloak and had blue skin.

It was King Andrias.

Sprig froze the moment he saw the ex-monarch.

It had been a decade since his surrender, ten years since he had been sentenced to an eternity of community service, ten years living in Wartwood, it had been hard to deal with him being so close, at first Sprig avoided him at all cost, it was still hard to forgive some who dropped you out of a window.

Sprig swallowed as he walked towards Andrias, the old king saw him walk closer and nodded.

"Sprig" he said in a gravely voice, in all the times Sprig had seen him since the day of departure he seemed more serene, more quiet, like the old Andrias had been wiped away, and replaced by a different being, something infinitely more older.

"Hey ki- Andrias." Said Sprig despite being deposed there was something regal about him, something more so than when he was King, something had entered those eyes, something… He wouldn't call it noble but something like wisdom.

"What are you doing here?" said the young frog.

"Your sister dragged me here, she wanted a measurement of leg and arm stumps."

Sprig stood there, picking up what he meant, "Wait, are you telling me that she's trying to replace your limbs?"

Andrais nodded.

For a while the question of what to do with the King's missing limbs was a hot topic in Amphibia, a few wanted him to have them restored, others wanted him to lose the remaining limbs, ultimately it was decided that he would be left alone, Andrais himself never once talked about the subject, Sprig once asked grandfather who remained quiet for a while and told him that in a way this was Andrais ending his life.

The thought scared Sprig, the idea that someone could be that broken, that they just wanted to give up was so alien, in a way it made sense, years of hatred only to discover he had wasted years. Committed sins so dark, to have betrayed such innocence, how could one go on so long without that dark fire to fuel him.

Sprig however knew another little secret, that despite that loneliness there was something kind still left. It was a secret to many but the old king had those who would listen to him, the children of Amphibia would find him when he was walking planting seeds, they would beg for stories.

Andrias told them, he told them of his past. Of his family, of those he had viewed as weak and frail but those who ultimately he wished he could have truly known.

Sprig and Ivy knew this because one day they watched him in a field telling them the story of Barrel the Brave, they kept quiet because for some reason Andrais was happy, then when the children left they saw another side, they saw the giant Newt fall to his knees and cry.

He and Ivy didn't tell anyone of what they saw but from that day on the only thing he wanted for the ex-king to know peace.

"Polly was able to drag you here?" Asked Sprig.

"She was most insistent, she said she'd take an hour but that was three hours now, I'm going now." Said the newt standing up, using the handle of the hammer to stand.

Sprig knew he just wanted to avoid the awkwardness of talking with him

"Okay, I'll tell her you're gone, I'm visiting her anyway."

The hermit looked at Sprig, "Really you?"

"What's wrong with me?" Said Sprig.

"Well there's the sign," said Andrias pointing at the "Keep out Sprig sign." That was painted on the wall.

"Eh, that's just a joke."

"And the painting of your face on it with horns and a red x going through your face?"

"Running gag."

"And that-"

"Go." Said Sprig.

Andris shrugged and limped away.

Sprig walked up to the large metal door and knocked on it three times. A small panel slid from the upper part of the door and two orb like eyes looked back at him.

"Hi, Frobo, Polly in?"

"Polly is no more." said the Robot who tried to look threatening, but just came across as goofy.

"Uh huh, Let me guess you grew beyond your programming and now want us all dead."

"The flesh is weak, it shall be replaced by steel."

"Umm, Okay" said Sprig with his hand on his chin, "So would you kill your entire family including your big brother."

The eyes looked away for a second and then back at Sprig, "Uuuummmm, Yes?" said Frobo.

"How did you kill Polly? Just out of interest."

Frobo froze."I… Stay there for a second."

The panel closed and Sprig could hear robotic steps walk into the warehouse, a minute later he could hear them walk back the panel opened again.

"I burst her like a balloon."

"Hmmm, She's alive and just doesn't want to see me?"

"Yes,'' responded the robot, "Sorry, you can't come in."

"Okay," said Sprig, who started to turn around, "I mean You don't want to help out your brother do you."

Sprig took three steps before Frobo reacted.

"Wait." said Frobo, "I mean maybe there's a family exception to her rule."

Sprig smiled, despite being a machine Frobo had become the youngest sibling of the Plantars, it wasn't hard to believe mostly because of the fact that he had always been that to Polly.

The door opened to reveal Frobo standing there, he now has a blue and silver paint job, over the last few years many things had changed for the robot. Over time he had learned to speak and had been allowed by Polly to choose his own paint jobs, He still followed her like a lost puppy, he was also given a last name, Frobo plantar, Since then he had been a part of the family, there were still those who came from outside the town and looked at the robot with fear, but it only took a discussion with the robot to tell that he was friendly.

"Thanks, Bro," Said Sprig, briefly hugging his robotic brother.

"She's in the back, tell her you forced me to do it."

"You know she won't buy it right?"

"I am trying to practice this emotion you call hope, Please support me in it by not killing it dead."

As Sprig walked into the warehouse he wasn't surprised to see that it was a mess, robotic parts lay on the floor, tools were placed on what every surface was available, the air around him smelt of oil and smoke.

As he walked deeper into the warehouse that's when he saw her, a pink frog was sitting at a bench tinkering with something on a workbench, she was swearing overalls, her red hair was tied up in a ponytail, Sprig smiled.

Polly had changed in the ten years since Anne left, not only was she a frog now, some of her goals had changed, she was still going to take over and rule Amphibia, but another part had evolved in her, the desire to fix Amphibia.

After seeing so much social progress in Amphibia, Polly decided that maybe it didn't need to stop, for the first few years she had joined Sprig and Ivy in their adventures in the new continent, however when she reached ten she decided to start investigating the old Amphibia. She calmed that while it may have been evil that they did have some cool tech and wanted to start working on it.

However progress for Polly was slow, and more explosive than most scientific research, countless explosions had become a theme in Wartwood, she was lucky to not be missing a limb.

Still she didn't give up despite everyone telling her to, Sprig respected that.

As he neared her she felt something brush against his leg.

"Excuse me!" Said a young voice.

He looked down to see the back of a green nymph running towards Polly, he was carrying a small screwdriver.

"This one?" Said the nymph.

"Polly took it and continued working, she gave a small appreciative grunt towards the nymph.

There was a quick pop and smoke started to come from whatever Polly was working on, the teenage frog swore and stood up from the table. She turned to get something only to see Sprig, any interest she had in the table vanished, she just rolled her eyes at him,

"Hey Sprig," said Polly weirly.

"Hi Polly, You want to do something about that fire?" said Sprig concerned.

"On it," said the Nymph who was currently carrying a fire extinguisher despite it's massie size the she jumped on the table and used it to extinguish the fire,"

"Good job, Nicole, Why don't you go and play with Frobo in his new kart form."

The Nymph gasped and ran towards the door.

Sprig watched her as she ran, he turned back to Polly, "So she's your assistant?"

"This week she is, Ever since she got her legs Nicole changes her mind of what she wants to be when she's older from week to week what she wants to do." Polly Explained, "The towns got a betting pool on it. Half of us think it's going to be working for Maddie next, I've twenty coppers of Loggle."

Sprig nodded, "Well that's interesting, So I wanted to say to ask-"

"No." said Polly, cutting him off.

"You don't know what I wanted to say?"

"No, I will not do the speech for you."

Sprig threw up his arms, "Come on, be a pal, It's only just one Speech."

Exactly," said Polly, "Just one Speech." she recited back in her pitch perfect impression of his voice.

"Oh come on, It's not that hard." Sprig responded, "Any idiot could do it." he said trying to imitate her, he sounded like a twenty year old trying to impersonate a fifteen year old girl.

"... Was that supposed to be me?" said Polly, confused.

"Yeah, Sorry it's been a while since I need to impersonate you and well it's harder with my voice changing and…"

"No I get it, It's hard to impersonate as well, But whatever, no I won't do it."

"Fine." said Sprig despite it not being fine, he then leaned against the warehouse wall, "I guess I'll wait here and wear you down."

"Fine, I'll just keep resisting your attempts to wear me down," said Poilly, sitting on her chair looking at her brother.

Things were quiet for a minute before Sprig spoke again.

"Sooo, Andrais?"

"You mean his new leg, Working on it, I want to try and help him out, Get him walking again."

"Huh."

"Just "Huh?"" said Polly, curious.

"No, I'm glad it's just a lot of people would-"

"Screw other people, If I can make him new robotic limbs I'll be able to make small one's for all of Amphibia, Grime, Stumpy, everyone."

Sprig nodded, "That's pretty cool,"

"Yeah and Imagine all the work I could do while not doing a stupid speech."

"Fair," said Sprig.

Silence returned, for a few moments then it was broken by Sprig giving one last argument in his favor.

"JUST DO THE STUPID SPEECH."

"NEVER." Yelled Polly.

"Come on Polly it's just one speech, I just can't do it this year."

"Why not? You've never had a problem with talking before."

"Polly, I had a dream about her last night," said Sprig.

Polly just looked at him, her mouth opened, she looked angerirer

Sprig took that as a win, "I had a dream about her, she was lost and calling for me and I wanted to try and find her, the problem was that well. I couldn't find her, she was calling for me and …

"Shut up," said Polly trying to control her voice.

"Polly, I'm sorry but that speech, It's just after that dream and it's a load of lies…"

"SHUT UP." Yelled Polly, "JUST SHUT UP."

Sprig knew he messed up when he saw the tears in her eyes, they were mixed with hate, He made a mistake somewhere along the line.

"Polly, I'm…"

"No just shut up, You're not the only one who misses her, You think just because you have Bad dreams You can walk away from this stupid speech and force it on me."

"Polly it was just…"

"At least you still have dreams about her."

Sprig froze, "What?"

"I barely remember her at times, I know the statue, I know the stories but Sometimes I don't even remember what she sounds like, What her hugs felt like, How she made me happy."

The guilt crashed into Sprig harder than anything, "Polly I-"

"I keep losing people, First Mom and Dad then Anne, You're barely here and Hop Pop almost-."

Shock joined the Mixture of emotions inside Sprig.

"What?"

"He didn't want to tell you but he fell while you were away, I was scared Sprig, I was really scared, He fell asleep and he didn't wake up for a day, Everyone was looking after me but I was so afraid I'd be left alone, and then when you come back you ask me to do a stupid speech,"

"I didn't know he didn't tell me." Sprig said Weakly.

"Of course, he didn't because the men in this family are morons." wept Polly, "Frobo can't keep you out, Hop Pop won't tell the truth and You just want to dump your responsibilities on to me." she turned away from and started to cry on her desk.

Sprig stood there, He was probably the worst brother ever, it's true he didn't know what happened to Hop Pop but he still tried to force his sister to do his job.

"Polly I…"

"Just go away, Spring." she said sobbing on her desk

He stood there hearing her cry, He knew he needed to do something but what, this was a field he wasn't usually good at, Polly was always the strong one, he needed to help her but how?

He pulled out his phone and scrolled to the video section, after a few seconds he found the perfect video, he placed it just in front of Polly, and pressed play.

"And here we have the mysterious beast known as Anneicus Boonchuyicus," said the phone in Polly's voice, not her normal voice but her fancy voice"

Polly looked up to see an image of her older sister sleeping on a chair, One leg was draped over the arm of the chair, and Both Arms were sticking out at the side, Her mouth was open and she was snoring, it was not the dignified position but one many knew Anne Boonchuy for.

"As you can see she's one of the most hideous creatures in Amphibia, truly a horrible sight, only rivaled by her discoverer Sprig Plantar."

"Hey," whispered a voice on the phone.

"Who is with me today to talk about his discovery, Sprig tell us how you first met this creature?" said Polly on the phone.

Polly looked at this and a smile started to appear on her face. She remembered this day.

"Well," said Phone Sprig, "I was in the forest looking for a monster, and man did I find one."

"Yes I can tell, What was your reaction when you found this beast?"

"Oh man, I was terrified. I thought she was going to eat me. Look at those teeth, those eyes, Man I thought I was a goner."

"Hmmm, Yes, I mean she would have spit you out when she realized how disgusting you were but seriously What stopped her from eating you."

"Well she's a lot nicer than she appears, Though that could just be an act to get me to lower my guard."

"Yes, that might be it , but I think we're might be too smart for her."

The two frogs on the phone started to laugh, the current Polly watched this while smiling, she felt her older brother's arm on her shoulders.

They knew what was going to happen next.

What the two laughing frogs didn't notice was that the monster had stopped snoring and had closed her mouth, So distracted by their documentary they didn't notice that the beast had woken.

"Little do our brave explorers know that the beast has been listening in on them," said the monster, her eyes still closed.

The sibling's laughter stopped, their eyes widened in fear.

"Oh," said Phone Sprig.

"Um." said Phone Polly

"And…" said the beast of Wartwood in glee, "And they don't know that the beast… IS HUNGRY."

Anne jumped out of the chair and dived towards the two, The phone dropped on the floor, it landed at an angle where Polly could see the past versions of herself and her brother fighting with Anne, A mixture of screams and laughter could be heard as the Annicus Boonhuyicuus chased her pray, she briefly caught Polly and demanded that she recant her statements, to which Polly fought back, Sprig jumped on his Anne to save his younger sister.

Their fight lasted three minutes until…

"Kids time for Dinner." came the voice of Hop Pop from upstairs, Polly and Sprig rushed upstairs.

Anne picked up the phone and looked into the camera smiling, "Hey Polly, Sprig I don't know if you'll ever watch this but I love you guys, You make this world a lot better, Beast out."

The video stopped.

Polly looked at it for a few seconds longer, she was still crying but a flood of memories of that day game back, she had gotten a bruise, they continued their documentary game into dinner, she remembered Anne hugging her that night, how she had made fun of Hop-Pop's cooking.

"You know that's my favorite video," said Sprig smiling.

Polly sniffed, "really? Why?"

"Because it's the Anne I want to remember, They talk about everything she is and what she does but they never really mention the girl we knew, They forget she was a part of our family, But what's worse is that I forget that you were a part of that family, I'm sorry Polly.

The younger frog was quiet and removed her brother's arm, Sprig thought he had messed up again only to be shocked when she hugged him, it was rare that Polly would hug someone so Sprig welcomed it.

"I'm sorry Sprig, I was just.. Hop-Pop almost…And I thought of Anne and… I'm sorry you're a good brother." Polly said in between sobs.

Sprig smiled and hugged his sister back, "It's okay, I really was being selfish, I'll do the speech."

"...I won't blame you if you make Jokes during it."

Sprig laughed and held on to his sister. Part of him knew Anne would be proud of him.

He stood up and walked to the door, "Welp I've got a speech to learn in eight hours, hopefully I won't embarrass the town."

"Don't worry, you don't show up everyday, we've come to expect it now."

Sprig smiled, his sister was being mean again, things were right in the world.

"Hey," said Polly, "You left your phone?"

Sprig turned around to see his sister still holding it. He was going to walk back but then shrugged, "keep it for a while, watch some more videos, it'll make you happy."

Pollly didn't say another word, she went back to watching another video, Sprig smiled and left the warehouse.

"So is there a reason for why you're wearing your work clothes?" Asked Sasha as she drove her car to the party.

Anne sighed as she looked down at her aquarium shirt, her tan pants and brown shoes, around her neck was her I.D. badge.

"Because if the message goes through I want them to see who I am now."

"That's right Anne Boonchuy, Frog lady." Laughed Sasha, Marcy joined in, Anne just rolled her eyes.

"Please, they'd be proud of me, I became a doctor, I got a PhD, I designed an exhibit, they'd be proud of me."

"Yeah, I'm sure they'd be proud, sorry." Said Sasha.

"Forgiven."

"Hey Sash, how'd you think Grime would act if he knew what you became?" Asked Marcy.

"I'm pretty sure he'd be fine, it's not as if I've had nightmares about him rejecting me because I chose something he probably wouldn't have accepted, nothing wrong with that in the slightest, it's not as if I've had nightmares about it no, I mean-"

"RED LIGHT." shouted Marcy.

Sasha hit the breaks, stopping the car just before the red lights, thankfully no one rear ended her.

"Haha, Sorry about that." Said Sasha, "Um , what do you think Ovliva and Yunan would think if they could see you now?"

"They'd be proud," said Marcy in that awkward way she said things she was uncomfortable with.

"You okay Mar-Mar?" Asked Anne.

Marcy sighed this time, "I'm fine it's just- I'm up to a certain part of my webcomic."

"Which part?" Asked Anne.

Marcy continued to be quiet, before breathing out, "I'm at the part where the truth comes out."

Sasha and Anne knew what she meant instantly.

"Marcy it's okay, we're fine with…"

"No," said Marcy, shaking her head, "it's about the King, I'm stuck on him."

I don't see why?" Said Sasha. "Just write the biggest asshole in the world and you've got it."

Marcy laughed, "I guess but he was just as much a victim of the core as me."

"Marcy, he stabbed you." Said Anne.

"I know I'm still have nightmares about it, but I need to explain in the comic about the core and we'll… oh is the place?

The car stopped just outside a warehouse, Anne remembered it from ten years ago, it had been the site of a confrontation between her and Mr.X.

She had returned there just once, to ask Teri if it was possible to make a new portal.

Teri told her that the portal was only able to be fully opened thanks to the power that Anne held, now that was gone, nothing.

Anne had mentioned the guardian but Teri had said that if such a thing even existed it might be impossible to contact it.

The next year Anne contacted many people who could help her.

Luz Noceda was the first person she contacted, after their adventure they she knew the teenager would be back on earth by now, Luz was resourceful like that, Anne's hope of getting help from here died the moment she saw her how bad her situation was, she offered to help the girl and her witch friends but Luz refused, it was her fight.

There was a girl on Echo Creek, but she said that the multiversal scissors were powerless, and that she had to try and keep order.

Auntie Nin from the temple offered the services of her granddaughter but apparently the place the granddaughter knew how to get to was the ghost realm and Anne did not like the sound of that. (She had met the granddaughter and was surprised to see she wasn't a goth.)

It looked hopeless, but eventually Anne moved on.

It hurt but she had accepted she was never going to see them again. At least that's what she told herself, the reason she was going tonight was just to spend some time with some friends.

Standing outside the warehouse was Dr. Jan. The museum curator was waiting outside the warehouse smiling, despite knowing her for years Anne still called her Dr. Jan for one reason, Dr. Jan hated her first name of Janice.

Anne considered herself extremely lucky to have so many influential women in her life, Jan probably rivaled her mother in that sense, when Anne had shown interest into becoming a Herpetologist she Had pointed her in all the right directions, the right field, the right contacts, she had helped design the Amphibia exhibit alongside Marcy. She also owed Jan for being one of the many people who stayed by her after the return.

"Anne there you are," said the archeologist walking over and hugging her.

Hey Jan," said Anne returning the hug, "You remember Sasha and Marcy?"

Dr. Jan nodded, "Of course, how are you girls doing?"

"Can't complain," said Sasha

"So excited." Said Marcy, ``we might see Amphibia again."

"Wouldn't count on it." Said a high pitched voice from the warehouse. A woman with blue hair and white lab coat was walking towards them, she reached the four women and held her hand open for Anne, Dr. Jan kissed her on the cheek to which Teri blushed.

Anne held back a giggle, Jan and Terri had been for four years now, at first they had been bonding over movies they loved and it had grown from there, Anne had no idea they were even seeing each other until one day she came to Jan's home one day.

It was just to borrow an article from one of Jan's magazines, she wasn't shocked to see Jan standing there in a bathrobe but her hair being disheveled, was a little odd for the afternoon.

That's when Teri walked out of the kitchen wearing only a large nightshirt.

The blue-haired woman gave a little yelp and ran back into the kitchen.

Jan also gave a nervous laugh and gave the now open mouthed Anne the article.

Two years later they married and had been happily married since then, Anne had been at their wedding as a bridesmaid (with a Huge hangover, academics knew how to party.)

The fact that they were now both Dr. Jan still made Anne laugh at times.

There were times Anne got the feeling that Teri felt a little awkward over the attention She received from her wife, and sometimes Jan would say that Teri could be a bit more adventurous but she knew Jan's love for Teri's honesty and Teri's love for Jan's eccentric passion was stronger than their differences.

"The others are inside already," said Jan smiling, "Your mom has been asking for you."

Anne sighed, the constant questions of when she was going to start a family were about to begin in earnest.

Well whatever, not even that could ruin her day.

"Come on girls, we've got a party to attend."

As the five women entered the warehouse no one noticed the trunk of Sasha's car open and a small figure sneaking towards the warehouse.
