Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 36 of The Winter Soldier and the Luna Wolf. I want to thank those who have left reviews for this story. It truly does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this story. I apologize if my editing is off. I have been writing some of these chapters slightly drunk. But there is a good reason for my drinking. I had to put a pet down and it makes things hard on me. I'm trying to get the emotions under control. I hope that you guys enjoy this next chapter. We're starting into Wolverine Origins. Without further ado Chapter 36. ENJOY!

Chapter 36

Violet was in her kitchen washing dishes as her phone rang. She let out a breath and moved to her phone. "Hello?"

"Pup…."

"Jimmy… what's wrong?" She questioned as the question weighed heavily in the air.

"He killed her."

"He killed who?" Her brows pinched together in confusion. Surely he couldn't mean Kalya. A sweet woman that he had been with for a little while.

"Victor killed her."

"Jimmy, I am sure that our friend didn't do that."

"His scent is all over the scene."

"Jimmy… I'm coming over. Don't do anything stupid."

"I'm going after him. He killed Kalya."

"Jimmy, you can't be sure of that." She cursed under her breath when she heard the dial tone. She moved quickly grabbing her keys knowing that she didn't have much of a choice. She needed to stop Jimmy from doing something stupid that he would regret later in life. Her heart clenched in her chest. She couldn't believe that Victor would do such a thing to his best friend's girlfriend.

WOWOWO

She made it to the bar as people ran out of it. She let out a breath as she went inside seeing her brother facing off against Victor.

"You can scare off the civilians with those, sonny boy. But I got claws of my own."

Violet let out a breath as Victor took a swing at Jimmy drawing first blood from his chest. She shook her head going back outside to make sure that everyone was alright from the battle that was now raging on inside. She should've known that Jimmy wasn't going to wait for her to show up. He was going to take everything into his own hands. Honestly she didn't blame him since he loved Kayla perhaps more than what he had let on to begin with. And she knew how a broken heart would take forever to mend.

She let out a soft breath of relief seeing that everyone who was most likely in the bar were safe and sound. Her head turned, hearing shattering glass and seeing her brother hitting the ground hard. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she saw Victor come out of the bar.

Jimmy struggled up to his feet, but Victor kicked them out from under him.

Victor crouched next to him before grabbing his head and smashing his face into the concrete over and over again. "Time you got declawed, kitty kat." He lifted his heavy boot and brought it down on the claws from Jimmy's left hand splintering. He repeated it to the right hand causing Jimmy to scream out in agony. "You were a tough little guy. But there's always someone tougher." He said, plunging his clawed hand into Jimmy's chest.

Jimmy gasped, his eyes widening.

"And it's always me." He said standing up. His eyes went over to the dark haired woman standing there.

"Victor why…" Her voice came over the air softly.

"You shouldn't be here Violet."

"You provoked an attack and you say that I have no right in being here? You killed Jimmy's girlfriend."

"This is deeper than you will ever know." He said walking away.

Violet moved quickly towards her brother kneeling down next to his broken and battered body. "Oh Jimmy…" She said softly touching his head softly not liking the idea that he had done this to himself.

Jimmy let out a groan as he slowly sat up on the snowy ground. His eyes went over to his sister. "What are you doing here pup?"

"I couldn't let you go through this alone. I know you loved Kayla… but doing this? Isn't the way to go." She pointed out softly as she slowly got up to her feet. She reached her hand down and clasped her hand with his and hoisted him up onto his feet.

"I want him dead."

"Jimmy, he's like us… he won't die easily." She said softly, grasping his hand tightly on her own. She took a breath looking him over. "He really did a number on you."

Jimmy removed his hand from hers. "And he's going to pay for what he did."

"Jimmy… letting your mind be clouded by what happened. I don't want you to go through the same thing as I did when I lost James."

Jimmy took a breath through his teeth. "Do you know anyone who would know more about what Victor is doing?"

Violet let out a breath. "I might know of someone." She said, sticking her hands in her pockets.

"Good let's go." He said, spitting out some blood.

Violet shook her head lightly. "Alright we're going to be going to Texas."
