Hi! Well, here's chapter 2 of this story. Like with the first one, I hope that it's good and easy to understand. I reread it to make sure it is, but sorry for any mistake. Thank you for the responses to the first chapter, I appreciate everything, and I hope you enjoy chapter 2!

Normal POV
Caroline hoped to have a good day, she had a feeling that something bad was going to happen, but she thought it was because of Stefan and his approach to Elena. Aside from the fact that the next day was the night of the comet and, although she liked comets, the one that night didn't bring back good memories as it had last passed the night she had become a vampire. Maybe that was why, but she hoped she didn't feel any kind of irregular energy in the air that day.
Her grandmother used to tell her stories about the supernatural world while growing up. Caroline had been born as a siphoner, she was a type of witch with no magic of her own but with the ability to absorb energy from other sources to use it to make magic, so her grandmother who was a witch, used to tell her about the world so she would know how to survive and protect herself when she grew up. Most of her family believed the world could be cruel to someone like her, so they lived taking care of her.
The witch had also told her stories about the comet when she was little and, although her grandmother had never seen it, used to tell her that when it passed sometimes it ended in bloody disaster, several deaths and chaos in the supernatural world. Caroline believed that these were just stories and a comet couldn't create so much destruction. But in 1864, she had found out how wrong she was as a lot of people had died that night and with her brothers thy had turned into vampires. So she hoped she would have a good night.
At that moment Caroline was in history class, Mr. Tanner was explaining things about that comet, and personally she was a bit tired of the subject. Besides, she could see Stefan and Elena kept looking at each other, what suggested to her that her brother hadn't minded what the brunette girl had said about her at the party, or that with her sad puppy eyes Elena had already apologized.
For his part, Stefan followed Elena after finishing history class to talk to her, even though they had spent the whole time talking after the party when he went to her house.
-I brought it. I told you- Stefan commented, approaching Elena and handing her a book.
-"Wuthering Heights" by Ellis Bell. I can't believe she didn't use her real name- Elena told him while she looked at the cover of the book and walked down the school hallway.
-All the Bronte sisters used pseudonyms. It was the time, female writers weren't very accepted then- the vampire explained. In his time almost everything was difficult for women, he knew this mostly because of his sister as she was often treated as someone inferior.
-Where did you get it?- asked the younger girl, interested in the copy and in what he had told her.
-It was passed down through the family. I have lots of books, go ahead. Keep it- lied the older one and then offered her the book as they stopped. It was true that he had a lot of books.
-Oh, no...- the brunette girl tried to refuse the gesture, but after looking at him for a few moments, she gave up- But I would like to read it again. I promise I'll give it back- she affirmed, taking the book and smiling.
-All right- agreed the older guy smiling at her all the same. Then he saw Caroline walk past them without even looking at them in direction to her locker, so he said goodbye to Elena and followed her.
-Hi Caroline, can I talk to you?- asked Stefan as he stood next to her, who looked at him for a few moments while she opened her locker and put her books away.
-Hi Stefan, I wanted to talk to you too, but you start- she returned his greeting calmly, which he tried to take as a sign that she wasn't too angry with him.
-The truth is I wanted to apologize to you for yesterday. I shouldn't have treated you like that when you only wanted to take care of me, so I'm sorry- Stefan apologized for how he had treated her when what she wanted was to protect him from suffering again. She knew what had happened between Damon and him, so she just wanted them to be happy and make peace.
-I didn't want to be mean or bossy but I just wanted to take care of you. You want to get close to the copy of your ex who ruined your relationship with your brother. Don't you think I would try to get you away from her so you wouldn't get hurt?- Caroline questioned quietly as she started to walk down the hall. She knew she'd acted wrong, but she couldn't help it.
-I know, and when you put it that way I would try to take care of you too if I were in your place. I really appreciate you looking out for me like that- admitted the vampire as he walked beside her and tried to make amends, knowing full well that she was right to be worried about him.
-I'll always take care of you, you are my brother. You know you can count on me- Caroline affirmed, she couldn't stay long fighting with them since they were all she had- I don't think it's a good idea, but if you want to meet Elena and see how she is I won't interfere- the girl accepted with a small friendly smile, in a better mood than before.
-I promise I'll try to make it all work out, I want it to work out. And I know she's different from Katherine- assured her, Stefan smiled at her wanting to soften the heretic's heart, he just wanted to try since he knew well that the brunette girl wasn't like his ex.
-All right- resigned the blonde girl looking at the guy with warning- I won't get between you two, but if she hurts you in any way and you end up bad, I swear she will pay for it- she warned him with a certain joking tone, although she would make Elena suffer if she hurt her brother.
-Thank you for trusting me Care. Now, what did you want to tell me?- asked Stefan looking at her curiously.
-Right. Do you know if Damon is here in Mystic Falls, or where is he now?- the younger girl wanted to know with doubts, deep down she felt that the guy from the Grill had been her other brother.
-In fact, Damon is here in town. I met him yesterday in my bedroom when I came back from the party and we kind of fought- he told his sister, who couldn't help making a face between surprised and tired- But why do you ask me? Did something happen?- he asked her worriedly.
-It's just that yesterday at the Grill I thought I saw him, but suddenly he wasn't there. And I admit that I had too much to drink- Caroline told him, finally clearing her doubts- But why did you two fight this time?- she asked, expecting to hear the first of several arguments between them.
-Because Damon already knows about Elena, he wants to incite me to drink from humans, and I know that he wants to ruin my life as always- admitted Stefan tiredly in a low voice, sometimes he didn't know what to do with his older brother and he just wanted their eternal fight to end.
-Seriously? You've barely arrived and you two are already fighting? I think you broke your own record- she joked with a smile, although deep down she was angry as they didn't last long at all in peace.
-It wasn't my fault. He just showed up out of nowhere, he called me weak and we started fighting. I don't like all this either- Stefan replied a little depressed, so the blonde girl feeling like him took his arm.
-What do you say if you tell me something while we walk to class?- suggested the girl wanting to change the topic and relax the atmosphere, which she could when Stefan smiled and they walked to class. The vampire told her that Elena had apologized for what she had said and he was glad she'd done it. However, Caroline inwardly promised herself that if one day she had the chance she would get back at Elena for almost calling her a bitch in front of her older brother.
Elena was walking around the schoolyard with Matt, they were talking about his sister Vicki and how she was doing after the accident the previous night. And that the doctors thought that if everything was okay with her, then she'd be able to leave the next day.
-And did she say what kind of animal it was that attacked her?- Elena asked worriedly for the older girl, not realizing that Stefan was spying on them with his enhanced vampire hearing.
-She said it was a vampire- the human revealed surprising both the girl and Stefan.
-What?- she replied while thinking she had misheard, as the vampire focused more on them.
-Yes, she woke up last night, muttered "vampire" and then passed out- he commented, believing that maybe his sister was just hallucinating and none of the story was true.
-Ok, that is weird- the brunette admitted puzzled at that, that story couldn't be true.
-I think she was drunk. So what's up with you and the new guy?- Matt wanted to know after he stopped walking and nodded to Stefan, who was sitting a bit away with his back to them.
-Matt, the last thing I want to do is hurt you- Elena told him knowing the whole Matt and Stefan thing was complicated since the human boy had admitted her that he thought they would be together again.
-You know, I'm gonna go back to the hospital. I want to be there when Vicki wakes up so she can tell me what really happened last night- Matt replied a little uncomfortable with her answer and left. Elena turned around to approach Stefan, but found that he had disappeared.
Stefan was leaving the school when he saw Caroline, so he approached her taking her by an arm and told her what he had heard between Matt and Elena, worrying her. The older guy confirmed that the vampire had been Damon, so he wanted her help to fix it and the blonde girl agreed to go with him. Together, they came up with a plan to avoid another disaster caused by Damon.
Their plan was that the two of them were going to go to the hospital and the moment Matt left the room, Caroline was going to use magic to delay him while Stefan took it upon himself to compel Vicki so she'd believe an animal attacked her, it was a simple and easy plan to effect. They were walking down the hallway and saw Matt appear so they hid, within seconds they saw him run to find a nurse, Caroline followed him and Stefan entered the room.
Caroline followed Matt who was looking for help, but with a little illusion spell made him confused. She didn't like to bother her friend but she couldn't let her brother be found out, no matter how careless and idiotic Damon was most of the time. When she saw the human return to the room, she waited in one of the hallways for Stefan to come out so they could escape.
Returning to Vicki's room, Matt saw that she was resting and thought he saw Stefan leave so he followed. Stefan walked down the halls until he ended up in a room full of blood bags and blood donors so his eyes began to change as he felt the smell. He felt someone take his arm and saw it was Caroline, who led him to a curtain and they jumped out the window. Matt went to the same room and walked to the curtain, but when he pulled it back he only saw the window open with no trace that anyone was there.
-Thanks for helping me- Stefan thanked with a smile once they were out of the hospital. Luckily their plan had gone well and thanks to the blonde they had escaped without being seen.
-Don't thank me, now we can be calm. But, are you sure your compulsion will work? No offense but you're not as strong as Damon and me- asked Caroline a little worried without wanting to offend him. The bad thing about Stefan's diet was that by driking animal blood he wasn't as strong as the ones who drank human blood, so he wasn't like his siblings.
-I don't know, let's just hope it is and that Damon doesn't get us into more trouble- answered the guy a little worried as well- Just in case we need another plan- he thought.
-If your compulsion doesn't work, how about if I compel her next time?- suggested the blonde, and thinking about it, it wasn't a bad idea, they should have done it before but they needed her and her magic to distract Matt so the other vampire had time to act.
-If my compulsion doesn't work, you can take advantage of your friendship with Matt to try to get close to her and compel her- agreed the vampire in case something failed. After making sure everything was okay with him, Caroline said goodbye to Stefan and returned home.
Elena was at the Grill with Bonnie talking about Bonnie's grandmother, and what she had told her about the comet. Then her friend asked her about her talk with Stefan at her house the night before. Elena didn't know what to do about the guy, but after her friend's encouragement she decided to go see him at the Salvatore boarding house.
Meanwhile, Stefan returned home to find that Elena came to visit him and found Damon. That worried him a little as he didn't want him ruining things with Elena and he didn't want him to hurt the girl. Enough with his younger sister's advice, worry and overprotectiveness, although he really understood why she behaved that way.
-Great girl. She's got spunk. You, on the other hand, look pooped. Did you over-exert yourself today? Let me guess, the hospital- Damon mocked, looking at his brother who walked past him as soon as Elena left.
-Someone had to clean up your mess- replied Stefan seriously without looking at the older guy.
-Well, were you successful? Did the powers of persuasion work? Remember, if you don't feed properly, none of those little tricks work right- the vampire reminded him using a mocking tone, thinking what he could do with what he'd discovered to annoy the younger one as he turned to look at him.
-How long was Elena here?- questioned him the vampire, referring to Elena and going straight to something more important, that is, the fact she had gone to see him.
-Were you worried, Stefan? Scared we may be doomed to repeat the past? Isn't that why you play your little game of "I'm a high school human"?- Damon suggested trying to annoy him by touching one of the things that worried the other, while he continued to look at him seriously.
-I'm not playing any game- declared the younger vampire humorlessly and not letting him bother him.
-Of course you are. We know the closest you will ever get to humanity is when you rip it open and feed on it- Damon assured him, approaching his brother and whispering the last part.
-What game are you playing, Damon?- Stefan questioned him, hoping to get something.
-Guess you'll have to wait and see, won't you?- replied the older one with a small smile about to leave, but stopped when he heard what the younger one said.
-Did it have something to do with your new habit of spying on Caroline? Or was just something from last night at the bar when she couldn't talk to you?- asked Stefan ironically seeing the older man approaching him.
-And how do you know what I do? Are you spying on me, or did you guys have a funny sibling reunion without me? That kinda hurts me since I'm the oldest- questioned the vampire this time, hoping to find out what he knew about the blonde, whom he admitted to have been spying on.
-You're the one who follows her without talking to her, and she told me herself because she wanted to know where you were- commented the younger one passing by the other and decided to play with his brother -Caroline told me before going to the hospital- he blurted out seeing the curiosity in Damon's eyes.
-Caroline accompanied you to the hospital? I'm sure she took the lead as usual- Damon tried to guess but saw his brother pretending to think of an answer.
-You know Damon? I don't remember which one of us took care of your problem. Caroline might remember it- Stefan replied humorously and walked away, leaving his brother thoughtful.
The issue now for Damon was to find out which of them had acted, because he knew that if Stefan had compelled Vicki then he could easily go and change everything since he was stronger than his little brother. On the other hand, there was a slim chance Caroline had actually compelled her and that would be a problem, since he knew very well that the blonde girl was a little more powerful than them and her compulsion might be almost impossible to break, so then he would have to investigate which one of his little siblings had done it.
The following night, Caroline went to the town square to the festival and overheard Elena talking about Stefan with Bonnie, making her roll her eyes at the thought that the girl had charmed her brother. When turning around she saw Damon spying on her again and tried to approach him, but out of nowhere he was gone, and being honest she was getting tired of Damon's little game of watching her and disappearing. If he didn't want to approach her, he should stop bothering her like that.
After talking with Bonnie, Elena was walking around the square and looking at the decorations for the festival. At the event everyone was holding a candle, and they were lighting it for each other. Matt had lit Elena's candle, who lit someone else's, who turned out to be none other than Stefan. The brunette girl at first turned away, but the guy came over to talk to her.
-I'm sorry about yesterday. I wasn't fine- apologized the vampire standing behind her. When she had gone to visit him, he'd been very serious and distant for Damon.
-You seem to spend a lot of time apologizing- the younger girl commented without seeing him, unsure about him.
-Well, I have a lot to apologize for. Yesterday, that wasn't about you, ok?- he assured after turning around to face her. He wanted her to know she had done nothing wrong.
-You didn't tell me that you had another sibling. He's older than you, isn't he?- Elena assumed curiously, although she hoped there wasn't another lost sibling hanging around.
-He is the oldest, then it's me. The two of us aren't close, it's...complicated- he tried to explain. His relationship with Damon was a bit difficult and with Caroline they were close, but there was some tension between him and Caroline for him getting close to Elena.
-Always. He told me about your ex Katherine- the brunette revealed, looking at the candle in her hand.
-What did he say?- the vampire wanted to know, worried about what the older guy had said about her.
-That she broke your heart- she replied, uncomfortable and at the same time curious about this unknown girl.
-That was a long time ago- Stefan tried to clarify. The topic of Katherine was something difficult and in a way terrible for him because of what had happened, and he was a bit worried that Elena would know about it.
-When you lose someone, it stays with you, reminding you of how easy it is to get hurt- the girl reflected calmly and looking at the sky, while Stefan stared at her.
-Elena- murmured the vampire walking to stand in front of her, who looked at him.
-It's ok Stefan. I get it. You have no idea how much I get it. Complicated brother? Check. Complicated ex? Check. Too complicated to even contemplate dating, double check, it's ok. We met, we talked and it was epic. But then the sun came up and reality set in- Elena explained, internally a bit upset at the thought that he wanted to use her to forget hi ex, and left him after blowing out her candle.
On her side, Caroline was helping with the festival while walking through the square when she saw Stefan, she saw that he looked down so she decided to approach him.
-Hi, are you okay? Does the festival get you down?- greeted the heretic as soon as she approached him.
-It's not that, it's Elena. And before you say anything, she didn't hurt me- he told her anticipating her possible assumption, she was surely going to get angry with the brunette girl if she thought she had already hurt him.
-But what happened?- she asked interested crossing her arms and Stefan told her about the brunette and Damon, and his talk with the girl that night- Uuh, that sounds bad. But maybe she likes you and she's confused by Katherine, try to give her some time- the blonde girl tried to cheer him up.
-Confused by Katherine?- he questioned doubting what to do with Elena, he really wanted to get to know her since he knew she wasn't like his ex, and that's what he liked.
-Yes. Remember that we are humans for her, so she must think that you were with Katherine recently. Maybe Elena thinks you want to use her to forget about your ex- argued the heretic while uncrossing her arms, leaving the older one thoughtful at how right she was.
-I think you're right, I should have thought of that. Maybe I could talk to her tomorrow or in a few days. You are good at giving love advice- he admitted, smiling slightly at her.
-Hey, I might have been officially single for over 10 years and I don't tell you much about my love life, but I think I'm good at giving love advice- she commented with a smile all the same, but before they could continue talking Matt approached them.
-Hey, have any of you seen my sister?- he asked worriedly to them, who shook their heads- I can't find her, she's lost- he continued explaining and the vampires looked at each other.
-No, I'm sorry. We'll go to the square- Caroline offered and left after looking at Stefan as if she was telling him to go somewhere else, he nodded and was about to leave until he heard the human speak.
-I saw you at the hospital yesterday- revealed the younger one, catching him unaware- What were you doing there?- he asked curiously. He remembered that he had seen him near Vicki's room but he had lost sight of him.
-Visiting- lied the older one approaching him, hoping Matt hadn't seen Caroline too.
-Oh yeah?- he repeated as if doubting his answer a little- Hey, Elena and I've known each other for a long time. We might not be together right now, but I look out for her. And I'll always look out for her- he clarified seriously while he stared at him and Stefan nodded. But then Stefan got distracted when he heard Vicki screaming in the distance and he got worried when he heard that she was with Damon.
-Excuse me- he apologized and suddenly took off in that direction, leaving the human boy alone.
Stefan saw that Damon and Vicki were over a roof, so he jumped towards them. Damon started asking the girl who had attacked her and then compelled her that it had been Stefan when she said it had been a vampire. Then he threw her at Stefan after removing the blindfold from her neck.
-Your choice of lifestyle has made you weak. A couple of vampire parlor tricks is nothing compared to the power you could have, that you now need. But you can change that. Human blood gives you that- insisted the older while he watched Stefan try to resist the bloodlust.
-No!- Vicki screamed in fright, and the younger vampire pushed her to the ground in a panic.
-You have a choice. You can feed and make her forget, or you can let her run, screaming "vampire" through the town square- he commented as if it was nothing and watched him doubled over in despair. Damon knew he was very affected by that smell in the air, and in some way he liked seeing him like that.
-That's what this is about? You want to expose me?- replied the younger vampire in a tone agitated by the whirlwind of emotions he was feeling, he hoped he could resist the temptation for blood.
-No! I want you to remember who you are- clarified the older one irritated, moving a little closer to him.
-For what? So I'll feed, so I'll kill? So I'll remember what it's like to be brothers, you and me? You know, let her go. Let her tell everyone vampires have returned to Mystic Falls. Let them chain me up, let them drive a stake through my heart. At least I'll be free of you- Stefan exclaimed firmly, believing that maybe deep down he had hurt some part of his brother.
-Wow- Damon muttered after moments of silence, staring at Stefan, not caring that deep down that had hurt him. He walked over to a startled Vicki and murmured something in her ear, to Stefan's surprise she got up from the ground like it was nothing and walked away from them.
-It's good to be home, think I might stay a while. This town needs a wake-up call, don't you think?- said the older guy as if nothing had happened when they were alone.
-What are you up to, Damon?- asked the vampire looking at him seriously, he'd been able to stabilize himself after the smell of human blood left him, he was calmer.
-That's for me to know and for you to...dot dot dot. Give Elena my best- he commented teasingly with a small smile and left the roof, while thinking about his next step.
Caroline was looking around the town square but couldn't see anything, then she continued looking around and was about to use magic when Stefan called her and told her what had happened with Damon, which made her sigh of exhaustion. Sometimes she didn't understand her oldest brother's mind.
Later, Stefan returned to the Grill with Vicki to hand her over to Matt who thanked him, then he approached Bonnie who was sitting at a table talking to Caroline.
-Hi, sorry but have any of you seen Elena?- he asked the girls as soon as he approached them.
-I think she went home- Bonnie answered and saw how he was about to leave, so she continued- I'm gonna give you Elena's cell number and her email. She likes texting, and you can tell her I told you- she explained smiling while she wrote her friend's number and gave it to Stefan.
-Thanks- thanked the vampire smiling. But none of them expected that when she touched Stefan's hand, Bonnie got scared because she had a strange feeling in her body and she let go of his hand suddenly- Are you okay?- he asked worriedly as Caroline looked at her suspiciously.
-What happened to you?- she asked suddenly surprising the elders, and then stood up- How rude, I'm sorry. Excuse me- she apologized quickly walking away from them, who looked at each other.
-Do you have an idea what that was about?- asked Stefan with confusion and curiosity looking at the blonde, who motioned for him to come a little closer to her, which only increased his curiosity.
-I don't really know, but maybe she had a strange feeling or a vision. It would be normal because it's something common in witches- she explained him in a low tone, and something told her she was right- Just in case be careful with her, we don't really know what happened to her- she warned seriously, making him nod.
After thinking hard about her situation with Stefan, Elena said goodbye to her aunt Jenna and went to the Salvatore boarding house to talk to him. She arrived at the door and rang the bell, seeing Stefan.
-Would you like to come in?- the vampire invited her after greeting her and opening the door, a bit surprised.
-The comet's actually this way- said the brunette smiling slightly, pointing behind her and walked in the entrance of the mansion, followed by Stefan- Sorry for coming like this, especially after today- she apologized looking at him, unsure of how to say what she wanted to say.
-I'm glad you came. I didn't like the way things turned out- the vampire said seriously. He liked that she had come to see him since he was planning to call her to see her.
-The thing is, I got home tonight planning on doing what I always do, write in my diary like I've been since my mom gave me one when I was 10. It's where I get everything out, everything I'm feeling. It all goes to this little book I hide on the second shelf behind a really hideous ceramic mermaid. But then, I realized that I'd just be writing things I should probably be telling you- she began to explain nerviously.
-What would you write?- he wanted to know, interested in what she wanted to tell him to the point of going to see him.
-I would write... "dear diary, today I convinced myself that it was ok to give up. Don't take risks, stick with the status quo, no drama, now is just not the time. But my reasons aren't reasons, they're excuses. All I'm doing is hiding from the truth, and the truth is that...". I'm scared Stefan, scared that if I let myself be happy for even one moment that... the world's just going to come crashing down, and I don't know if I can survive that- she confessed looking at him with intensity so he would understand her, she was afraid about what to do.
-Do you want to know what I would write?- Stefan asked, looking at her evenly- "I met a girl, we talked and it was epic. But then the sun came up and reality set in. Well, this is reality. Right here"- he finished, making her smile slightly. They looked at each other with more intensity than before, casting brief glances at each other's mouths and then kissed. They separated and looked at each other for a moment to kiss again, feeling a warmth feeling running through their bodies.
The next morning Caroline was in her pajamas and was in her kitchen making coffee, which she would accompany with the cookies she had baked the day before. She was just starting to make the coffee when the doorbell rang, curious she went to open the door and was surprised to see Damon.
-Hello sister- Damon greeted, smiling when she opened the door. It was about time he greeted the blonde girl not only because deep down he had missed her, but because his dear sister with special abilities could be of great use to him for his plans.
-Damon, what are you doing here?- she asked a bit irritated by her brother's attitude even though she had missed him after years of not seeing him. Sometimes because of how immature Damon was it seemed that she had been born first of the three of them instead of him.
-Ouch, are you really going to be so cold to me? After so many years of not seeing each other- questioned her the vampire with a false tone of sadness, although it hadn't been very convincing for her.
-Don't try to change the subject Damon. It won't work- the heretic warned him with a serious look without reacting to his tone, something that apparently didn't really affect the older one at all.
-I'm not trying to do anything, I just want to know how you are so I came to visit you. Your house is nice by the way- he tried to persuade her with a smile while he entered without permission and she followed him.
-You come to see me out of the blue after hiding in the shadows and spying on me like a stalker, it's obvious that it's gonna be weird- Caroline complained to him. She knew that the only thing he had done since he arrived in Mystic Falls, besides getting into trouble, was to stalk her like a psychopath.
-I wasn't a stalker, I was just trying to look out for you like the good big brother I am. I couldn't leave my baby sister without protection in a town that can be as dangerous as Mystic Falls is- Damon tried to defend himself, it was true that he had been watching her and following her but it was only to know if she would be useful for something, and he wasn't wrong.
-One, you were a stalker, and you would've ended up really hurt if I hadn't known that it was you- Caroline started to explain with a hand up while she was raising her fingers- Two, most of the time you're a bad big brother, especially with Stefan. And three, I'm totally capable of taking care of myself, I've been doing it for decades- she finished with three fingers up.
-Well, I'm better with you because you and I aren't fighting and I didn't promise you an eternity of misery- the oldest one clarified referring to the second part and continued with the third one- And I know you've been taking care of yourself for a long time, but give me some credit- he added with a smile making her smile a little as well, but she tried to disguise it and crossed her arms in front of him.
-I won't give you credit for anything, least of all without an apology for stalking me like an idiot- replied the heretic trying to be serious but in the end she looked at him with a small smile, after all she had missed him although it was true that she wanted an apology.
-Okay, I'm sorry for stalking you instead of visiting you- Damon tried to apologize with open arms for having irritated her, although he had to admit that it was funny. He couldn't help but have some sort of soft spot for her for being his little sister. Caroline looked at him dubiously for a moment and then moved closer so she could hug him.
-Fine, I accept your apology for being a stalker- the blonde accepted laughing lightly and infusing him with laughter, she always cheered him up. After hugging each other for a moment they separated and Damon left his hands on her shoulders- We haven't seen each other for a long time, I admit I missed you a little- she commented with a friendly smile just like the one the older vampire had.
-I missed you too blondie- agreed her brother looking at her softly, then he added- And believe it or not, I'm a little sorry for what I'm about to do- he revealed with a sudden seriousness after erasing his smile, which left her really confused.
-What? What do you mean?- asked the girl, but before she could receive at least a simple answer, Damon moved his hands from her shoulders to her neck and with a simple twist broke it, and for Caroline everything went black. The heretic fell unconscious in the arms of her older brother, who carried her to the living room and left her on the couch while he looked at her in sorrow.
And that's all! I hoped it was good. This story started as an idea I had some time ago, then I started to think how could the show change with this thing added, and I couldn't stop. Every chapters will be one of the episodes of the show, some were a bit more difficult to change, but I hope it is well done and enjoyable! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. And remember that every response is welcome and thanked, see you!
Just like in the first chapter, I will leave a summary of the next chapter here. I just like the idea of the summaries!
Chapter 3 - Friday Night Bites:
Elena ignores Bonnie's warnings and keeps trying to get closer to Stefan, so she decides to invite them for dinner and get to know each other. Caroline meets Damon, who fills her with doubts by asking her for a strange favor. And a violent act shocks the whole town.
