Hello there! Here's a new chapter of the story! And chapter 6, one of fan favourites so I hope mine is good as well. I'm still thanking for the responses, they make me feel good about this. Maybe I am doing a good job. Remember that everything is appreciated and welcome!

Well, here's the first flashback of the story. I think it's good and everything is right, but if there's something you don't understand please ask me in a review. I tried to let the most important things, but it's still long.

The characters and the plot are property of Julie Plec and the tv show team, I own the characters I created and the changes I made in the story.

Normal POV

At the beginning of July 1864, from the Salvatore estate came out the middle son of the family, Stefan. He was waiting when a carriage arrived and stopped in front of him, and first a maid got out to help a young woman and fixed her dress. The young woman, who looked just like Elena, looked for a moment at the boy in front of her and Stefan moved a little closer to her.

-You must be Miss Pierce- he said respectfully, offering her his hand, which she took and bowed slightly as she smiled slightly at him.

-Please, call me Katherine- she introduced herself and Stefan smiled in return.

Stefan and Elena stood outside the Salvatore mansion as she asked him to answer her question. After much denial from the young girl, who didn't want to believe what she suspected, Stefan confessed that he was a vampire and that it was possible even if she didn't want to accept it but he couldn't blame her, since what she always thought were fairy tales were reality.

Elena was scared and tried to go home, but Stefan stood in front of her with his vampiric speed asking her not to be afraid of him. In the end she managed to get into her car and drove home, ran into her room and started pacing nervously around the place.

-Elena- said Stefan making his presence known and scaring the girl, who tried to run to the door and get out, but the vampire closed the door and left his hand resting on it- I would never hurt you, you're safe with me- he said worriedly as she turned her back to him.

-Those animal attacks, those people who died...- the brunette started to say as she turned around to see him while leaning against the door. She was scared after her discovery.

-No, that was Damon- the older guy revealed, staring at her to make her believe him.

-Damon?- she repeated to make sure of what she'd heard.

-Yes. I don't drink human blood, that's how I chose to live my life. But Damon does. I'll explain everything to you, but I beg you Elena, do not tell anybody- he asked with slight desperation.

-How can you ask me that?- questioned the younger one, a little confused despite her nerves.

-Because you knowing this is dangerous for so many reasons. You can hate me, but trust me- he pleaded still looking at her, angry at how things were going so badly that day.

-Go away. Please go, just do it. If you won't hurt me, go- Elena replied, feeling a whirlwind of emotions inside her at the moment. Stefan looked at her for a few moments in silence.

-I never wanted this- the vampire assured her as he walked away from her, inwardly hurt that he had hurt her and lied to her, but he'd had no choice. They stared at each other in silence for a few moments and Elena turned to open the door behind her, a moment Stefan took the opportunity to leave through the window just as he had come in.

Damon was in the cemetery and had fed on a couple of people there, which he then burned. He went over to one of the bodies and searched it until he found a phone, that he used to call Stefan so he could complain a couple of things from things.

-Give me my ring- Damon ordered as soon as he heard his brother's voice.

-Are you still at the cemetery? What are you doing there?- the younger one dodged his questions.

-Let me guess, the heretic told you where I am. And I was at a barbecue, it was a buffet. Where's my ring?- he continued to insist annoyed as he walked around the fire he had made earlier.

-I don't have it. But what have you done?- his younger brother continued to question him.

-No, what have you done? You locked me up and starved me to death. What I've done and whoever I sucked dry is on you- the vampire tried to blame hum with a bottle of alcohol in his hand.

-You're careless. How many animal attacks are they going to believe, uh?- his brother retorted irritably.

-I know how to cover my tracks, Stefan. Where's my ring?- he asked him again to give it back to him.

-I gave it to Zach to hide, you shouldn't have killed him- Stefan invented to make him feel bad.

-Ah, you almost got me. Where is it?- he questioned him, not believing the trick he'd used against him.

-I'll get it back, but it'll take me a while- he assured him, a little reluctantly, as he thought about what to do and walked outside of his house to try to calm down.

-What, you sent it to Rome? Where is it? I want my ring Stefan, or I'll go after Elena- Damon threatened him, tired of asking him where his daylight ring was.

-I already want you dead, don't give me another reason to make it happen- the younger guy warned him seriously.

-Don't give me another reason to rip you apart- Damon replied, just as angry as he was.

-Yeah? Before or after you get your ring back?- Stefan retorted in annoyance.

-I want it- the older guy said before ending the call. Then he went over to Vicki's body to throw alcohol on it and burn it when she woke up.

After talking to his brother, Stefan went to visit Caroline to tell her the news, but he didn't think she would take it well considering how careful she was and that she didn't like Elena very much. As soon as he got to her house, the blonde let him in and they went into the living room after telling her it was important. First he told her about Damon and then told her about the problem with his girlfriend.

-Elena knows Damon and I are vampires, and I decided to tell her the truth when she wants to- he revealed earning a surprised and annoyed look from the blonde who stood in front of him.

-What?! What do you mean she knows you're vampires?!- she shouted at him very upset. Her day wasn't even over and it was getting worse by the second, sometimes she hated it when her instincts were right.

-I swear I didn't tell her anything, she found out on her own and I confirmed it. Maybe she connected the dots in front of her- the vampire hinted hoping she would calm down at some point.

-How is it possible that in one month you two have been discovered and have attracted attention, while I've been here for a year and I haven't had any problems- she complained irritated as she walked nervously around the room and analysed the whole situation.

-Caroline, relax and breathe. Just breathe and listen to me. I'll talk to Elena, everything will be fine, okay?- Stefan asked as he approached her and grabbed her shoulders to make her stop.

-I know I have to calm down but I can't, we could be discovered- she reminded him more worried than angry, she looked at him quietly for a few moments until an idea occurred to her- Don't worry, I already have a plan B to fix everything since your plan A, not saying anything, didn't work- she suddenly declared with a small smile that didn't calm her brother down at all.

-What's plan B?- the older one wanted to know, although he felt that he wasn't going to like it at all.

-The plan is to erase Elena's memory and stop her suspecting you. I'll leave her as she was before the doubts started and everything will be fine- she told him her plan, thinking it was really good.

-No. You're not gonna control Elena. I'll talk to her soon and that's it, trust me- Stefan exclaimed hoping that she would listen to him and not execute her plan. After some thought the girl stared at him.

-All right, I'll trust you- she agreed, and before the vampire could relax she added- But I'll do it on one condition- she knew he wasn't going to like her idea but there was no other option.

-I'll do anything to make you trust me- her brother assured her waiting for something reasonable.

-It's obvious that she'll ask about me, so for now you'll say I'm a vampire- she explained first, and when he nodded she continued with her request- But if she says or does something that put us in any danger I'll manipulate her as I want and decide- she finished, leaving the older guy surprised.

-You can't manipulate Elena. And I don't think we need a plan, maybe just talking to her to get her to trust us is better- Stefan argued, trying to talk some sense into her.

-I know that you don't usually need to make plans, but it's always necessary to have backup plans since you don't know what might happen- affirmed the heretic, very sure of what she was saying.

-Look, I promise she won't say anything, but I don't want you to hurt her- he insisted. He hoped that the blonde girl understood that controlling people was bad, and that they could try something easier.

-You take care of that, and I'll take care of us. I'm capable of manipulating anyone at my complete whim to protect you and Damon, I'm not gonna let anything happen to you two- she warned seriously and Stefan just nodded. Then the older guy stayed at Elena's doorstep all night to take care of her from Damon.

What Stefan didn't know was that Caroline didn't usually leave things to chance, and she wasn't going to let something important like that just happen. The problem put the three of them at risk, and she would do anything for them, so she was going to keep an eye on everyone she needed to, especially Elena.

The next day Elena woke up still thinking about Stefan, so she asked him to meet her at the Grill so the vampire could tell her the truth. At first he told her the reality of vampire myths until Elena asked him how he survived.

-I survive on animal blood, but doesn't make me as strong as Damon. He can be powerful- he explained with a certain level of seriousness, hoping the human girl would trust him.

-And what about what happened with Caroline? If she's a vampire like you, how could he control her?- Elena questioned, confused by everything that had happened with the blonde.

-She's a vampire. She loves us a lot and always wants to help us, so Damon takes advantage of that to get what he wants. Or Caroline helps him since we know that forcing Damon not to do something is much more dangerous- he recounted remembering his talk with the younger girl.

-But she doesn't try to defend herself? She just lets herself be controlled?- she asked him with interest in the others.

-Caroline knows he wants to control her, but she only lets him do it as far as she wants. She can be more powerful than him, and she knows well what to do so that he doesn't bother her- he commented thoughtfully.

-Caroline isn't dangerous like Damon, right? She feeds like you?- she blurted out, hoping she wouldn't have to worry about the youngest Salvatore, she had enough with a dangerous one.

-She feeds on human blood but only from bags, she has great self-control. And she's not dangerous unless she feels under threat. She won't do anything to you, so don't worry- assured the older Salvatore as he saw her nervous.

-And are there any others, aside from your siblings and you?- she wanted to know after being silent for a while.

-Not in Mystic Falls, not anymore- Stefan revealed to her seriously, leaving her curious.

-Not anymore?- she repeated, interested in his vague answer.

-There was a time when people were aware that vampires existed, and it didn't end well for anybody. That's why it's important you don't tell anyone- Stefan clarified so that she would trust him.

-I can't promise that- the brunette girl doubted what she should do with the guy in front of her.

-Elena, give me today. I will answer any question that you want, and at the end of the day you can do whatever you want with what you know. It'll be your choice- Stefan admitted while he stared at her. Elena stared at him for a few moments until she nodded.

Damon was in the mansion with an injured Vicki, to whom he gave some of his blood after seeing her still passed out. He was watching her sleep when he saw Caroline enter and he approached her.

-Finally you show up blondie, were you ignoring my calls?- he greeted her from the living room, Caroline saw him from the entrance of the living room and out of nowhere she smiled mischievously raising a hand towards him.

-Motus- recited the heretic. Damon flew into the fireplace and fell to the floor in pain, he opened his eyes and slowly got up. But before he could talk, he flew back into another wall with force. He opened his eyes again and saw Caroline standing in the living room- You deserved that for literally stabbing me in the back- she commented as she giggled while he got up.

-You're crazy. The two times were necessary?- he claimed very angry and sore from the hits.

-It was little considering what you did to me. You're lucky to be you Damon- she warned him, wiping off her smile- Now tell me why you were calling so much- she ordered, crossing her arms.

-Stefan took my daylight ring, so I wanted to ask you to make me a new one- he asked his sister even though he was annoyed, receiving a curious look.

-You want a new ring?- she repeated to make sure, and when she saw him nod she continued- Look, if I could I'd make it for you, but I don't have lapis lazuli for the ring- she answered, uncrossing her arms.

-But you can get it for today, right? Or did Stefan tell you to lock me in here forever?- the vampire insinuated while smirking, making the blonde look at him irritated.

-I better ignore you for your sake. I will see if I have any stone, and if I find any I'll make the ring- she lied, rolling her eyes. She was going to take care of something more important than Damon wanting to leave.

-Fine. Just hurry up and get it, I don't want to be here anymore- Damon commented while looking around, and Caroline said goodbye to go home to take care of her own problems. Stefan was going to take care of returning the ring, and she would make Damon suffer some more.

The heretic had decided she was going to keep an eye on Stefan. She was going to make sure that everything went well or she would go through with her plan, regardless of the older guy's anger. She took from a drawer in the living room an antique hand mirror, a pen that Stefan had lent her, and sat down in the kitchen with a cup of tea.

-Ostende Faciem Stefan Salvatore- she recited passing a palm over the mirror. There appeared an image of Stefan and Elena in a car in the woods, making her smile at being able to spy on him without anyone knowing. At that moment she saw the vampire make Elena stop the car and get out.

-I want to show you something- Stefan said while walking through some ruins in the woods.

-In the middle of nowhere?- she asked confused, looking at him from her car door.

-This didn't used to be nowhere. This was my home- he revealed, looking at her for a moment and looked around to continue walking. Elena, surprised, walked around the place looking at the remains of statues.

-It looks so...- the brunette started to say, looking at the ruins and statues with curiosity.

-Old? Because it is- assured the vampire, ready to tell her everything she wanted to know about him.

-Wait. How long have you...- she tried to ask him, a little nervous about the possible answer.

-I've been 18 years old since 1864- the guy confessed staring at her, noticing how disconcerted the brunette girl was just by looking at her face- You said that you wanted to know. I won't hold anything back. Half a century before the boarding house, this was my family's home. My siblings and I were born here, but we didn't live together all the time. Caroline lived away for years and Damon and I both grew up here together. The Salvatore brothers, best friends- he began to relate.

It was early August 1864, Stefan and Damon were playing football in the garden of their home and their sister, who had returned home a couple of months ago, had gone for a walk in the woods. Damon was teaching him how to play while telling him that he had learnt the game on a field in Atlanta when Katherine came out of the house wanting to play with them. She stole the ball from them to run off and play together, but neither of them could take their eyes off her and Damon said that if his brother didn't go after the brunette, then he would.

Stefan told her that Damon had made her believe that he was still hurt from his affair with Katherine to ruin his happiness, and Elena couldn't believe he was capable of so much damage just because they loved the same girl 145 years ago, but she wasn't just any girl to them.

In mid-September, Stefan was playing chase Katherine through the maze in the garden of the estate. The brunette touched a statue there and turned to look at Stefan.

-I win. What is my prize?- she asked approaching him while smiling when they heard a voice.

-What price would you like?- Damon replied, appearing near them dressed in uniform. It had been a few weeks since he had been home, but he had decided to return.

-They extended your leave?- Stefan wanted to know excitedly as he saw his brother again and then started to walk towards him. He'd miss his older brother very much.

-I was having too much fun to return to battle- he clarified as he approached his younger brother and they hugged smiling as they had missed being with each other.

-I wish you would not go back to the war- whispered the younger one still hugging him tightly, hoping the brunette girl hadn't heard him since he could only speak about that with his siblings.

-Well, this is wonderful for me- commented Katherine as she got close to the humans who separated.

-Why, Miss Katherine?- Damon questioned as they parted, but he kept an arm around Stefan's shoulders, who did the same as he did, turning to look at the girl.

-Now I'll have both of you to keep me entertained. First of all, I need someone to escort me to the Founder's ball- she began as she turned her back to them.

-With pleasure/It would be an honour- Stefan and Damon said at the same time and looked at each other slightly, not noticing the mischievous grin that crossed Katherine's face as she listened.

-The smart and kind Salvatore brothers both coming to my rescue. How could I ever choose?- Katherine inquired after turning to look at them, smiling and then going inside, while the younger ones continued to watch her with a look of illusion in their eyes.

Stefan told her Katherine had chosen him to escort her to the first ball at the Lockwood mansion, where he'd signed the guest registry, and Caroline's name wasn't there since a couple of people got in without registering that day, including his sister that was forced by their father to go at last minute, but he remembered not seeing her at most of the ball. Stefan also told her that Damon had been angry about Katherine's choice, and that they'd discovered that the girl was with both of them at the same time.

Stefan was making out with Katherine in her bedroom, who was sitting on top of him.

-I will love you forever- the human declared, pulling away from her to kiss her neck.

-Forever is a long time, you know?- the brunette insinuated enjoying his kisses, and suddenly she bit him on the neck. The next morning Stefan woke up confused in the bedroom of his guest, who was standing near him while she was being dressed by her maid.

-Good morning. Leave the room, please- greeted the older girl, then asked her maid to leave as she turned to Stefan, who sat up in fright and tried to get as far away from her as he could- You are upset- added Katherine approaching him.

-Your face. It was like a demon- he recalled nervously while he leaned back against the headboard.

-But you are not afraid- Katherine assured him, still trying to get closer to the bed.

-Get away from me. Get away- he asked still trying to get away. He was so terrified of what had happened the night before, and he just wanted to be as far away from her as possible.

-It does not change the way you feel about me. You will not tell anyone- she ordered as she looked into his eyes, using compulsion to calm him- We will go on exactly as we are- she added.

-Yes, we will go on as we are- Stefan repeated, implying that the hypnosis had worked.

-You have no idea of the future I have planned for us, Stefan. You, me, and Damon. No rules- the vampire told him while smiling- But first you two have to do something that you'll hate at first, but then you will not mind at all- she revealed with some amusement.

-What do we have to do?- he asked while staring at her with illusion, he would do anything for her.

-You will say goodbye to your annoying little sister Caroline, she is not part of my plans. So soon you two will not see her anymore- she warned, still smiling as if she hadn't said anything wrong.

-She controlled my mind and Damon's, and compelled us to keep the secret from the other. She wanted the three of us to be together, forever. And also she wanted us to say goodbye to Caroline since she wasn't in her plans. It didn't work out that way, but Damon and I are stuck together, even if we don't like the idea- Stefan related her sadly.

-And she didn't control Caroline because they didn't get along?- Elena asked interestedly.

-They didn't speak to each other at all. From the day that Katherine arrived Caroline never wanted her near her. My sister wasn't well at the time and she went to the woods every day, so they barely saw each other since she was hardly in the house. Although time passed, no one ever really knew why she went to the woods- he commented thoughtfully about the blonde's old habits.

-No one ever questioned her or tried to follow her to see what she was doing?- Elena questioned confused.

-No. We only cared that she was fine, and since the walks seemed to cheer her up we just let her go. Caroline was immersed in her own world so she didn't notice anything- the vampire clarified as he bent down and took a small bag from among some stones.

Then the vampire showed her Damon's daylight ring, and even if Elena didn't want it, he was going to give it back to him if he wanted to keep him from hurting him the way he knew he could, by hurting her. Stefan also promised her that Caroline wouldn't hurt her, but she was a bit wary of people and even more so when she felt in danger, so he was going to protect her.

At the Salvatore boarding house, Damon was listening to Vicki talk to him about her life as they danced, and after hearing how damaged she was and how terrible she felt about the way she was, he took advantage of the vampire blood in her system and killed her, which caused her to wake up in transition to vampire. The brunette at hearing she was dead freaked out and decided to go home, but Damon suggested her to go to Jeremy's house.

Stefan and Elena were about to leave the ruins of the old Salvatore house and were about to get into the brunette's car, when she turned around to look at the vampire.

-The mind control you say that Katherine used, did you use it on me?- she asked doubtfully. What if she'd been so attracted to him from the beginning because of some kind of mind control? But maybe he hadn't controlled her at all and it had all been natural.

-No. The necklace has an herb called vervain, which protects your mind. I wanted to protect you from Damon's influence and possibly Caroline's since I don't know what she does, but I also wanted to protect you from me- he confessed seriously, pointing to the necklace while he looked at it for a moment.

-Do you think your sister ever hypnotised me?- she said a little worried at that thought.

-I have no idea, but that won't happen again. Elena, never take that necklace off. Because no matter what happens after today, no matter how you feel about me, you'll know that you could make your own choice- he assured her so that she would understand him, not knowing that they were being watched.

-What?! How can he say that?- Caroline exclaimed to the air, leaving the mirror on the table. She was still spying on Stefan and couldn't believe he had told her that. It wasn't a little secret that didn't hurt anyone, but something that put them in danger. But things weren't going to stay that way and she was going to make sure of that herself.

-Think Caroline, think. There must be something you can do- she muttered while walking through the kitchen, then something occurred to her- A spell so that she can't tell the truth, what a good idea- congratulated herself going to look for one of her grimoires. She put a dark blue book with black strips on the table and began to turn the pages until she found the spell.

-Here you are, you'll be my little backup plan. Just keep an eye on her and if she says anything, there's nothing one of my little visits won't fix- she said, running a hand over the page that she was looking at with a mischievous grin, and went to get the ingredients.

Elena and Stefan arrived at the Gilbert house to find Matt and Jeremy dealing with Vicki, who was acting really strange and looked drugged. Stefan went over to check on her and upon confirming his suspicion, ordered Matt and Jeremy to take the girl upstairs to rest. As soon as the three of them left, Elena approached him and asked him if he knew what was going on with Vicki.

-Yes, she's in transition- he began, and seeing the look on her face, the older guy continued- To a vampire. Damon must have found her. She's new, she hasn't completed her tranaformation- he hinted nervously.

-How does one become a vampire?- asked the human, frightened by the older girl.

-You have to drink vampire blood and die with it in your body. Then when you wake up in transition you must drink human blood, like Vicki does now. If she doesn't, she will die in a few hours- he explained in detail, seeing how Elena was getting more nervous by the minute.

-She's upstairs with them right now- she reminded him as her nerves increased at the situation.

-It's ok. She doesn't know what's happening to her yet- the vampire assured her in an attempt to help her.

-When is she going to know what's happening to her?- she continued to question him, worried for both her brother and her friend at be alone and defenceless with a future vampire.

-Right now she doesn't remember anything. Part of her is still human, but the longer she gets through the transition, the more the memories will start to come back and she'll have to make a choice- Stefan clarified in an attempt to calm her down, but the younger girl turned around to face him.

-Like the one you made?- she replied staring at him, which cut off his words. They were both downstairs in silence when they saw Vicki rush out of the house. Matt left first to go after her, followed by Stefan who affirmed he could find her. Jeremy and Elena were waiting for news when Damon showed up, so Elena made her brother go up to his bedroom.

-You're afraid of me, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess. Stefan finally fessed up- the vampire assumed as he looked at the human who seemed nervous to see him at her door.

-Stay away from me- the brunette ordered, trying to look calm in front of him.

-There's no need to be rude. I'm just looking for Stefan. May I come in? Wait, of course I can, I've been invited- he commented and smirked as he walked in and closed the door. Damon looked around as Elena kept her distance- Let's get straight to the point. I'm not gonna kill you right now, it wouldn't serve my master plan. So where's Stefan?- he questioned again while he turned to face her and crossed his arms.

-He's out looking for Vicki- the brunette answered sharply to get him out of her house.

-Don't look at me with those judgey little eyes. She's going to thank me for what I did to her- the older guy admitted as he approached the girl, who backed away until she touched a wall.

-Did you thank Katherine?- Elena replied firmly, staring at him in the eye.

-I see he confessed the whole story- the vampire hinted after a few moments of silence, as he turned and walked away from her, wondering exactly what Stefan had said.

-I got enough- told him the younger girl while she looked at him curiously, noticing his attitude.

-I doubt that. Tell my brother that I'm looking for him. Oh, a little advice, be careful who you invite in the house- Damon clarified while he walked towards the door, stared at her for a moment and left.

Stefan had found Vicki in the cemetery, who had begun to remember everything that both him and his brother had forced her to forget, and she also remembered what they were. She knew that she had to feed thanks to Damon, but before Stefan could take her home like Vicki wanted, they heard gunshots and one hit him in the chest.

Damon arrived in time and bit Logan Fell, who had fired the shot, and pulled the bullet out of Stefan's chest seeing that it was wood and that they already knew about them. But when they turned around they saw Vicki feeding on Logan's blood, completing her transition into a vampire. Damon saw the Gilbert watch on the ground, picked it up and the three of them left. After that Sheriff Forbes found Logan's body, but only ordered the other officers to find the watch.

Later, Elena was waiting for Stefan outside her house. At one point she saw the vampire appear and approached with concern when she saw blood stains on his shirt.

-I couldn't stop her, I tried- the older guy lamented when he had Elena in front of him.

-What does that mean?- she questioned worriedly, though she feared the answer was what she thought it was.

-She fed, and then I lost her- he confessed with great seriousness, regretting not having been able to help Vicki- She'll be fine. I'll find her and I will show her that she can live like I do, that she doesn't have to hurt anyone. Elena, I promise you- Stefan promised without taking his eyes off her.

-And what am I gonna tell my brother and Matt?- asked the brunette, confused by all of that.

-We'll come up with a story- the vampire tried to reassure her to help her feel better.

-You will tell them lies- Elena corrected him, angry and frustrated by the current situation.

-I'm sorry- he apologized, feeling bad about everything that was going on. He didn't want the girl to go through all those emotions because of him, he just hoped that the problem would get better.

-I gave you today just like you asked me, and I understand that you wouldn't do anything to hurt me. And I promise I will keep your secret, but I can't be with you Stefan. I'm sorry, I...I can't- the brunette told him again, trying to avoid shedding some tears in front of him and then ran into her house. Elena rushed inside and leaned against the closed door, slowly sliding against it until she ended up sitting on the floor as she let the tears finally fall down her cheeks, feeling overwhelmed by everything that had happened and what she'd discovered that day. What she didn't know was that someone had witnessed her suffering.

Caroline had seen it all thanks to an object of Elena's that she'd gotten months ago. With that scene between Elena and her brother, she was now sure that that copy wasn't going to say anything about them and they wouldn't be in danger, but she still planned to keep an eye on her. She was going to tell Stefan to make sure the brunette didn't say anything, but she wasn't going to tell anyone about her little backup plan in case of an emergency.

-I hope that you are careful Elena, and that you stay quiet- Caroline warned loudly while she looked at the girl with the mirror in one hand and picked something up from the table with the other- Because if anything happens to my brothers because of you, I might not have mercy on you- she hinted as she held up a small vial of purple liquid and smirked rather mischievously.

And that's all! I hope that you liked this part, it was a bit hard to choose what to summarise and what to leave, but I tried to leave the most important parts.

In this chapter I just included Stefan and Damon's past with Katherine, I put a few details about Caroline but I decided to not add her in the scenes physically because technically she wasn't important then, the flashbacks were focused in the past with Katherine. Caroline was just a clueless girl focused in her own life, she never realised what was going on in her house. I just let a few secret details about her, but later on the story I will reveal more of her.

Also, in the timeline wiki fandom (which in some parts is a bit of a mess) it says the 1864 history happened during September, but I doubt it since several things went on then and doesn't make sense for me that all that was less than a month. So in this story the 1864 actions happened between early July and late September. I leave you with the summary for the next part, leave me any response if you want. See you!

Chapter 7 - Haunted:

Vicki's behaviour is becoming increasingly dangerous and Stefan tries to help her, but has to take a difficult decision because of her new attitude. While after returning to town, Caroline faces the consequences of her decisions and of Damon's impulsive actions.
