Hi everyone! Here I am with a new chapter of the story! Here is part 9, a really good episode actually, and I'm excited for this. I wanted to thank the responses I've gotten since I started. They mean a lot, but if you want to ask something or anything, feel free to leave a review. Enjoy this part! And sorry for any mistake here.
The characters and the plot are property of Julie Plec and the tv show team, I own the characters I created and the changes I made in the story.
Normal POV
Bonnie was at the school tired, she had had more dreams about her ancestor Emily and had barely slept. At that moment she thought that she saw someone in the school hallway and got out of the classroom, finding Emily. She woke up and was in some ruins in the woods with Emily.
-Please help me- her ancestor asked, staring at her.
-Who are you?- asked Bonnie doubtfully, although knew inwardly who she was.
-I'm Emily. You know that, we're family- clarified the older witch, smiling slightly at her.
-Where am I?- she continued questioning as she looked around in confusion.
-This is where it started, and this is where it has to end- her ancestor explained seriously.
-No. This isn't real- the younger girl muttered nervously, not believing what she was saying and turned around to try to leave, but out of nowhere Emily appeared in front of her, blocking her way.
-Help me- repeated the witch and Bonnie woke up scared. She looked around and she was in class. But then she screamed at seeing Emily next to her. When she woke up, really this time, she was in the ruins.
Outside the school, Elena was looking for Stefan but he was nowhere to be found and the guy wasn't answering her messages either. Then she saw Caroline getting out of her car and decided to approach her to see if she knew anything about her brothers.
-Caroline, good morning- she greeted her as soon as she was near and they walked together towards the school.
-Hi Elena, good morning- returned the greeting while she smiled slightly.
-Sorry but I wanted to ask you if you knew anything about your brothers. Or how is Stefan- asked her the brunette directly, hoping for good news about her ex.
-Well, a few days ago I talked to them. Stefan told me all that happened between Damon and him. Apart from what happened between you two- Caroline told her calmly. It had been a few weeks since Lexi's death and everything was complicated among the three siblings.
-I tried to help him that night, he seemed very upset. But I think that now everything is hard between us, even more for him- confessed the younger one a little uncomfortable with the subject of Stefan, she had tried to help him but she never knew what had happened in the end between the vampires.
-It's that it is. Damon crossed the boundaries and earned Stefan's fury. Lexi was his best and oldest friend, despite talking to Damon he's very upset- she explained seriously- But relax, okay? Getting angry and arguing is something normal between them, sometimes they fight for weeks or for months- she recommended with a certain resignation when thinking about her brothers.
-You seem very calm about them fighting. How normal is it for them to be like that?- Elena questioned curiously, she thought that the blonde would be more worried about their fight.
-Well, for decades they've been at each other's throats, with me sometimes between them. When Stefan tries to live his life Damon shows up and they argue until they get tired, then Stefan leaves or Damon ruins everything he can and one of them disappears. But this time it's worse because he's known Lexi for a long time- the heretic clarified, looking at her slightly.
-But you think things will get better between them?- she asked trying to make sure she understood her, getting a nod from the blonde. She was about to ask something else when the bell to go to class rang- See you later- she said goodbye and headed to her class.
-Yeah, see you later- the blonde said goodbye, walked down the hall and passed by Matt- Hey Matt- she greeted him, they hadn't spoken since the boy had taken her to her home.
-Hey- the boy greeted her coldly without looking at her and only passing by her side. The heretic stopped for a second and stared at him, feeling a little disappointed.
While at the Salvatore boarding house, Stefan was sleeping peacefully in his bedroom until he was suddenly awakened by Damon's voice entering his room.
-Good morning. You'll be late for school- Damon affirmed, entering with something in his hand.
-What are you doing?- he asked confused while he looked at him.
-A peace offering. Come on, you need it for your blood circulation. It's good for the dead- he offered him a coffee as he saw him get up, but his brother just looked at him seriously- All right, I'm sorry- he apologized as he gave up and lowered the cup in his hand.
-Step aside, please- Stefan said without changing his face as he made his way to his bathroom. He was still mad at his older brother for what had happened with Lexi.
-I got the town off our backs, it was for the greatest good. But I'm sorry. And to prove it, I'm not gonna feed on a human- offered the vampire walking to the younger one's desk- For at least a week, I'll follow the Stefan diet. Only nothing with feathers- he clarified after thinking about the offer he had made for a moment and drank some of the coffee.
-Because I realized that killing your closest and oldest friend was beyond evil, and yet somehow, it's worthy of humor- Stefan replied, changing his tone and mocking Damon.
-Are you mimicking me?- asked the older one while he looked at his little brother curiously.
-Yes, Stefan. Now that the secret society of vampire hunters doesn't suspect any of the three of us, I can go back to my routine of "How to ruin Stefan's life this week, while I see how to use Caroline as a puppet?"- continued mocking him while he dressed in front of him.
-And I can go back to suffering, pining for Elena and frowning. It's fun, I like it- his older brother commented, smiling slightly after teasing him equally.
-And I will finally reveal the ulterior motive behind my evil and diabolical return to Mystic Falls- added Stefan hoping to finally find out why Damon had returned to town, who wiped away his smile.
-Yeah, I'm done. "That's you Damon, always have to have the last word"- he replied and left.
On Jeremy's side, he arrived at history class to meet a new teacher, Mr. Alaric Saltzman who seemed very nice and gave him a new chance to pass the subject, he was doing badly in the class and needed to improve. Teacher Saltzman had offered him to do a research paper on some history of the town with books in order to get extra credit and pass, which he gratefully agreed to do.
Caroline was walking down the hallway and passed Matt again, she tried to greet him and start a conversation with him, but the boy greeted her curtly like before and tried to walk away from her so the heretic made him stop by grabbing his arm.
-Hey, what is that?- she wanted to know, stopping him as the blond just looked at her confused.
-What is what?- he asked without understanding what she was referring to.
-The curt "hey" and without seeing me twice. You know there are other words in the vocabulary, right?- the older girl insinuated ironically.
-What's wrong with "hey"? I always greeted you like that- replied the human without understanding her.
-It's annoying when it's curt and it seems awkward. You spent the night in my bed, then you ran away before dawn to maybe not face me since I live alone and we weren't going to have visits. And now with the cold "hey"? Really? Look, maybe I was a depressing mess after the party, that I really hated, but it doesn't mean you treat me like you're ashamed to see me- Caroline complained irritated. She didn't understand her friend's weird awkward attitude, it'd been a couple of weeks since the event and he had barely spoken to her.
-I wasn't ashamed to see you. And I didn't want to get you in trouble with your brothers in case they showed up out of nowhere- Matt tried to justify himself, making the girl roll her eyes.
-I repeat it, I live alone which allows me to do whatever I want. Including being with whomever I want. Aren't we friends?- insisted the blonde girl, crossing her arms tired of his excuses.
-I didn't know if they were going to arrive at some point. And those "hey's" weren't awkward, I always greet you like that. You're trying to read something between lines where there's nothing, which is kinda annoying- Matt seriously replied and went away, which irritated Caroline even more and she went the other way.
Outside the school Elena met Stefan, who told her what had happened between him and Damon, whom he hadn't killed for her and his sister. Also, he took the opportunity to say he would leave the school and stay away from her because it was the best thing for everyone, which made Elena angry.
After finishing classes, Bonnie was walking to her car and thinking about her nightmares about Emily, until she got afraid because Damon suddenly appeared in front of her.
-It's your last chance- commented the vampire smiling for having scared her.
-I'm gonna scream- warned the nervous witch as she was close to him and avoided him to keep walking.
-No, don't do that. Focus. I want my necklace- admitted Damon, following her to her car. He wasn't going to give up until he got that necklace back, no matter how long it took.
-I told you that it's mine now- she reminded him without looking at him and without stopping walking to avoid him.
-I can't take it, but you can give it to me. Listen, I'm just trying to help you- Damon affirmed, still following her in order to convince her to give it back.
-I don't want your help- replied the younger girl angrily and hoping he would leave her alone once and for all.
-You do want my help, but you don't know it. Do you know why, little witch? Because you've come across something you need to get out of- explained the older one while he turned to look at her slightly.
-Leave me alone or I swear...- Bonnie began to threaten, turning around a bit evenly.
-Don't threaten me. Look, A, you already hurt me. B, I wish you no harm. Believe it or not Bonnie I wanna protect you. Let me help you get Emily off your back- offered Damon leaning against Bonnie's car and staring at her so she'd agree to trust him.
-How do you know about her?- asked the girl confused by what he had told her.
-I know a lot of things, and I know more about that crystal than you do, and I know that she's using it to get inside you. See how scared you are? And you should be, since I will get the crystal even if I have to wait for Emily to give it to me herself. So, when you see her again, tell her that a deal's a deal- the vampire warned her to then open the car door so Bonnie could get in, and then closed it.
Bonnie, scared by her encounter with Damon, talked to Elena about it and her friend asked her to stay away from him and sleep that night at her house to relax. But then Bonnie out of nowhere stopped the car next to the road and got out of it, and simply ripped off her necklace and threw it away, not caring much about her grandmother getting mad at her.
Later Elena, still a bit worried about Bonnie's problem with Damon, spoke to Stefan and asked him to come to her house for help. When Stefan arrived, she opened the door for him.
-Hi, thanks for coming. I wouldn't have called if it wasn't important- Elena commented getting out of her home and closing the door, since Bonnie was inside her house for their sleepover.
-I know- affirmed Stefan nodding and moving a little after seeing her go out.
-He threatened her, Stefan- said the brunette, angry at the oldest vampire's attitude.
-And what does Damon want with Bonnie?- asked the older one looking at her curiously.
-She has a necklace I found in the Lockwood's garden. The other day Damon started telling her to give it to him, then Caroline started asking for it, maybe for your brother. He's tormenting her- she explained, annoyed by the issue while she walked down her porch.
-Wait, both of them started asking her for a necklace?- he questioned confused by the blonde's part.
-It's not just any necklace, it's from Bonnie's family. It belonged to one of her ancestors who lived here during the Civil War...- the girl started to say but she stopped and looked at him when she realised something- when you and your siblings lived here- finished her sentence when she noticed that detail.
-Her name was Emily. She was Katherine's handmaiden, and a witch- the vampire revealed a bit uncomfortable.
-You know about Bonnie?- the brunette asked, surprised that he knew about her friend.
-The first night that you invited me over to dinner, I made the connection- Stefan confessed calmly.
-Now Damon knows, and for some reason he wants that necklace- Elena clarified irritated by the older man.
-What does it look like?- he inquired curiously while he thought about asking his sister.
-It's a metal base with...- she began to describe it slightly until he interrupted her.
-With an amber crystal. I know it, it belonged to Katherine. Emily gave it to her, which means...- interrupted her the older guy thinking of the necklace, increasing her doubts.
-What?- insisted the young one, worried about her friend.
-I don't know, but I'm gonna find out. I'll talk to Damon- the vampire decided, staring at her.
-Will he tell you?- the brunette insinuated doubtful that the oldest vampire would cooperate.
-I'm gonna make him. And maybe I could talk to Caroline- Stefan added as he was about to leave the house.
-Why would you speak to Caroline if the necklace was Katherine's? You told me they didn't get along- the human reminded him, confused at the sudden mention of his sister.
-Because I think that she was close to Emily. I saw them talking a couple times, and they had things in common- he revealed briefly and then left, since he still couldn't tell her the truth.
Stefan found his brother at the Grill and, after teasing each other a bit as they'd done that morning, suggested that they could try to have a good relationship like before. Also Stefan hinted that he could go to another town if he didn't want to behave, but Damon affirmed that he could behave himself and they stayed for a drink at the bar. Then got to playing darts there at the Grill, while Damon wondered what his brother wanted.
After Stefan left, Elena and Bonnie talked for a while and then started to prepare dinner. And when they finished they put it in the oven.
-While we wait for dinner, we could get some manicures. Did you bring your kit Bonnie?- suggested Elena taking advantage of the fact that they had to wait for a while.
-Yeah, it's in my bag- Bonnie agreed as she looked at her phone and her friend opened her purse. She was going through it and looking for her kit when something caught her attention and she touched it.
-Oh my God. Bonnie, look- she exclaimed surprised to find Emily's necklace in Bonnie's bag and taking it to show it to her, who couldn't understand how it was there.
-It can't be. I threw it away, you saw me throw it- the witch started to say worried and nervous, when an idea came to her mind- Emily- she insinuated as her concern increased.
-Why do you think that she follows you everywhere if you threw her necklace?- asked curious the brunette.
-I don't know, maybe she wants me to do something. But how can we find out?- inquired the younger girl, thinking about what her ancestor wanted with her, and how they could find out quickly.
-You'll probably think that I'm crazy, but what if we do a seance?- Elena suddenly suggested doubtfully, making her friend look at her incredulously.
-A seance? I don't know if it's a good idea, besides that we don't know how to do it- doubted the witch while she crossed her arms and considered the idea.
-Come on, it's the only way to find out today. And I might know who can help us- admitted the older girl, taking her phone and looking in her contacts for Caroline's, that she had for being classmates, and called her asking her to come to her house. Luckily, the blonde agreed to go.
-Hi Caroline, come in- Elena invited her as soon as she arrived and let her get in to where Bonnie was, who also greeted her with a hand gesture and took her bag for a moment.
-Hi girls- she greeted them and looked at them doubtfully- What did you want my help with?- she asked crossing her arms as she watched Bonnie pass something to the older brunette.
-You see, do you recognize this necklace?- started Elena showing her the crystal, when she saw the girl nodding she continued- Well, Bonnie has been having nightmares, and for some reason her ancestor Emily, is haunting her- explained most of the story.
-Her ancestor is haunting her for some reason?- tried to make sure doubtfully the oldest one.
-Yes, according to my grams the necklace was hers. And I think that she wants me to do something- Bonnie clarified looking at her friend for a moment, who nodded- And Elena said that you could help us do a seance- continued speaking after turning back to the blonde.
-You want my help to talk to Emily?- Caroline questioned surprised, she couldn't believe that they wanted to speak with a ghost, but she didn't understand why they wanted her help.
-Yes, I called you because Stefan said something about you knowing about these things. So we were hoping that you could help us- Elena tried to explain hoping that the blonde would want to help. After a long and curious look from Caroline to both girls, she finally answered them.
-Okay, I'll help you to communicate with a ghost. We can do it in Elena's bedroom. While she and I go for candles, Bonnie can you prepare a free place on the floor?- asked the heretic, when the girl nodded and left, she went to the kitchen with the brunette- Fine, now tell me what Stefan said- she ordered her slightly annoyed and curious.
-He said that you were close to Emily, so I thought it would be easier to talk to her with you- she revealed confidently, confusing her. She hadn't been close to Emily, they talked since Emily knew that she was a siphon and Caroline had made sure she didn't tell anyone, not even Katherine.
-I wasn't close to Emily, we only talked a few times for something private that we had in common. But I will still help you- the oldest one finally accepted, and continued- Did you tell Bonnie about us?- she questioned with some suspicion while she stared at her with doubts.
-Don't worry, I didn't tell Bonnie anything about you. Even though she told me her secret- clarified the brunette, but when she didn't see any gesture of curiosity she came to a conclusion- You also knew of her family's secret, didn't you?- she asked this time with suspicion.
-Obviously, Emily was a witch so it was obvious that her descendant would be a witch- she commented, without mentioning the fact that some time ago she had used her siphon abilities to see what Bonnie was- Okay, remember not to tell anyone, got it?- Elena nodded and they went to her room with the candles and the three of them sat in a circle to start.
-Now, relax and concentrate. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Bonnie, since she is your ancestor, call her- Caroline guided them through their seance so they would do things right and nothing bad would happen. Then all three closed their eyes to focus and begin.
-Emily, you there?- called her Bonnie, earning a somewhat incredulous look from the two girls.
-Really? "Emily, you there?" That's all you got?- replied the heretic, for her first time talking to spirits she was a little curt- Try to be more respectful- she suggested tiredly.
-Fine. Emily, I call on you. I know you have a message. I'm here to listen- said the brunette. The candles flame got stronger and they thought it was the air conditioner.
-Ask her to give you a sign. Emily, if you're among us, give us another sign- the blonde asked her this time. Nothing was happening, but suddenly all the windows opened violently, making the blonde worry and frightening Bonnie that took off her necklace and threw it next to the candles that went out. When Elena turned the lights back on, the three of them were shocked to see that the necklace was no longer there.
After drinking for a while at the Grill, Stefan took Damon to the school football field to play a little while, taking the opportunity to use their vampiric powers.
-You impress me Stefan. Fun with booze and darts, sentimental with football, and now a starry night? What do you want, Stefan?- Damon questioned, sitting down on the ground after his brother tackled him while they were playing and they both ended up on the ground.
-It wasn't real Damon, our love for Katherine. She compelled us, we didn't have a choice. It took me years to understand what she truly did to us- he explained with seriousness, sitting down as well.
-No, Stefan. I don't wanna touch that topic tonight- he replied, getting up to try to leave.
-What do you want Katherine's crystal for?- the vampire asked without moving, causing the older man to stop and turn around so he could see him.
-How do you know about that?- he questioned, walking slowly back to his brother.
-Come on, you knew Elena would tell me- Stefan affirmed as he stood up without looking away from him.
-How do you know it was Katherine's? Emily gave it to her on her last night. I was with her, and you weren't- said the older guy, inwardly wondering if he and the vampire had seen each other as well.
-I was the last one to see her, Damon- the vampire revealed, seeing how the slight smile on Damon's face disappeared and he looked doubtful- What do you want with Katherine's crystal?- he repeated his question, then saw his brother smile again.
-She didn't tell you- Damon replied, deciding to put that revelation aside for a while.
-We were too distracted- he excused himself, but then his brother quickly approached him.
-I could rip your heart out and not think twice about it- the vampire warned seriously.
-I've heard that before- replied the younger one, smirking at the other vampire's "threat".
-I have a bigger surprise Stefan- he said, moving away from his brother- I'm gonna bring her back- he confessed smirking slightly, surprising Stefan who understood who he was talking about.
At the Gilbert house the girls were puzzled about the necklace. Elena at first blamed Caroline that looked at her furious, then she thought it was Jeremy and went to look for it, Bonnie saw the crystal in the bathroom so she went for it but out of nowhere she ended up locked up. Elena and Caroline were yelling for her to open the door as they heard her screams for help, and Caroline was about to try to slam the door open. Then the door opened and they saw Bonnie sitting up.
-Bonnie, what happened? Are you okay?- asked Elena very worried about her friend, who had her head in her hands. She looked up and saw them with great seriousness.
-I'm fine- said Bonnie coldly. Caroline felt something weird in the air, something was not right.
-Are you sure you're all right? You don't seem to be, tell us the truth now- ordered the heretic annoyed.
-Caroline, calm down, let her breathe a little- Elena asked her defending the witch, not understanding the vampire's attitude- Bonnie?- she spoke to her friend waiting for her to answer.
-I'm fine. Everything is fine- assured Bonnie and tried to approach the blonde who moved away from her. Feeling that she had to leave as soon as possible, Caroline went downstairs to get her bag and left the house quickly, ignoring Elena's calls telling her to stay.
Damon told Stefan how the day Katherine died, he asked Emily for a way to save her and using that crystal, she locked up Katherine in a tomb that was under the church where they burned the vampires, which meant she was alive in a way. It turns out that Emily had used the comet that passed that night to give the crystal more power, and in order for the crystal to work the comet had to pass again, which it had.
After the comet passed, Damon used Caroline to get the crystal back so she would tell him if it had magic again, but it ended up with Bonnie. That night he and Emily had made a deal that she'd do the spell if Damon promised to protect her lineage, which is why he wouldn't hurt Bonnie to get the necklace back, and to complete the plan he needed it back.
Caroline nervously arrived home and in her head went over everything that had happened, but all she could think of was that Emily had been there considering eveything and Bonnie acting weird after her "lock up". After seeing with her mirror spell that Emily was inside Bonnie going somewhere she was going to grab a jacket to leave the house and go find her, but then her head started to hurt a bit and she tried to go to her couch to rest for a moment from the dizziness, but out of nowhere she fell there and became completely unconscious.
After Caroline's quick departure, Elena tried to help her friend, but Bonnie was talking about going somewhere else and about where it'd all started. Then Elena realised that it was actually Emily possessing Bonnie. Elena tried to stop her, but the witch was speaking about preventing someone from getting something that needed to be destroyed and she spelled the door so that no one would get out.
Jeremy arrived and managed to open the door, then Elena called Stefan and told him everything that had happened that night and what Emily had done, she came to the conclusion that the ghost went to Fell church because it was where she took Bonnie in her dreams and ran there.
Damon found Bonnie/Emily first, the witch clarified that she couldn't let him go through with his plan even though he had protected her family. The vampire tried to attack her but she with her magic threw him against a tree and he stayed still there because of a branch that got stuck in his stomach. Elena and Stefan arrived, who helped him by pulling the branch out and he ended up on the ground.
Emily revealed that to save Kathefine she had to save the 27 other vampires that were going to die, it turns out that Damon knew of this and only wanted to free them to get revenge on the town for what happened 145 years ago. Stefan couldn't believe that his brother would want to hurt innocent people, but Damon didn't believe that they were innocent but that instead they were going to attack them for being vampires, while Emily wasn't going to risk them attacking the town.
With a pentagram she had made on the floor she created a circle of fire between her and the others, and recited a spell that when she threw the crystal into the air it made it explode. When the necklace was completely destroyed, Emily left Bonnie's body who looked around confused and horrified not knowing what occurred. Damon was furious and as his deal with Emily was broken, he jumped over to Bonnie and bit her on the neck causing Elena to scream and Stefan rushed over to separate them. At seeing that Bonnie was still alive, the vampire bit his wrist and placed it against the witch's mouth, surprising Elena at seeing the wound on her neck healed.
Caroline had woken up a while ago confused about her blackout, and after a moment's thought she decided to find it out the next day. After feeding she was about to go to sleep when there was a knock on the door, she went to open it confused and was surprised to see Matt, but she still let him in.
-What are you doing here?- she asked, still a little irritated about that morning.
-Earlier today, I lied- confessed the human with a sigh.
-About what?- the heretic wanted to know with curiosity.
-About being in bed with you, we hugged and I got scared- Matt clarified leaving her more confused than she already was, so far it wasn't easy to understand him.
-You got scared? I mean, did you just come here to insult me or what? Because it's been a very long night- the girl claimed angrily, she didn't get what he wanted to tell her but so far it wasn't working.
-It's just that, I never liked you, it was never like that. But it felt nice- the boy finally told her the truth.
-What?- she questioned without understanding what he was saying, she hoped he would be more direct.
-Being in bed with you, I liked it. So I was thinking about it, and I thought that I should tell you I stayed because you were sad and alone. And I felt bad for you- Matt revealed to her, he hadn't been able to help it but it hurt him to see the blonde sad, and sometimes he understood how she felt.
-Well, thank you, because I love being a charity case. You can leave now. And just so you know, I don't like it when people say I'm alone. Maybe it would have been better to say the opposite- replied ironic after a pause the blonde and tried to get him to leave her, she didn't like him to feel bad for her.
-No, it's just that I know!- he clarified frustrated, and when the girl looked at him he went on- It's just that with Vicki gone and my mom away with a guy named Pete, it's just me. So, I'm here- he admitted, staring at her.
-You know Matt? You're normal, calm and friendly. I like that, I like your calmness. Normal is something necessary sometimes, it's something nice. Do you want to stay?- the heretic offered smiling lightly after thinking for a while, to which Matt smiled and nodded. Then she went to the kitchen and came back with junk food and sodas that the guy helped her set up, and they sat on the bed just talking about whatever came to their minds.
Stefan found Damon sitting up by the church ruins, who confessed that Katherine never used compulsion on him, that he actually knew everything and it was all real to him and left. Then the younger one went to Elena and Bonnie, who was still scared about what happened earlier and the former decided that at home she was going to tell Bonnie everything because she deserved it and also because she needed someone to talk to, and she couldn't talk to either him or his sister.
Elena tried to tell Stefan that trying to get away from him was a mistake and that they should be together, but the vampire tried to make her see that it was best for him to leave and he could no longer be in her life. Elena begged him to stay but he just gave her a kiss on her hand and left. Elena returned home, told Bonnie everything and they both ended up crying.
Damon was left sitting by a wall of the ruins of the church as tears fell from his eyes, while Stefan was in his room and when he was about to write in his journal he thought of Elena and couldn't, also crying. The three Salvatore's unknowingly were being watched, all the onlookers could do was hope that they would get over what followed and that in time all would get better for the 3 poor vampires.
At the Gilbert house, Jenna was going through old photos of her and Logan to later destroy when the doorbell rang. Confused, she went to open it and found Logan, puzzling her. Her confusion increased when the man asked if she was going to invite him in.
And that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed it and it was good. I wanted to apologize for any mistake since english isn't my first language. If you don't understand some part, please tell me and I'll clarify it.
I wanted to tell you that I left some little details in this part that will be explained in later chapters. I added them not only for the fun of doing it, but also to make a few things more logical. It'll be clear later don't worry. Also I decided to leave Caroline and Matt as a couple because A: it was one of the few storylines Caroline had in season 1, and B: because some things happened in S1 and 2 for them being together. But I added a few things to try to highlight why she's with him apart from liking him. Hope it's understandable. I leave the summary for the next part, see you!
Chapter 10 - The Turning Point:
There is a new vampire in town, and Stefan and Damon want to take care of that problem on their own, much to Caroline's chagrin. However, she meets someone who wants to get important information. Elena discusses her feelings and her future with Stefan.
