The sun has only just risen in the last hour, but Konoha is already wide awake. She gathers all the supplies she'll need for the teacher's trip to the far away village. She packs food, weapons, and first aid into a basket that she'll carry on her back during the trek. Next, she wakes Hana up. Sure enough, she's still hurting as she sits up in bed.

After getting Hana ready, Konoha gets to work on a few more things around the village. She first posts a sign at the center of the village, which will let everyone know what's going on. She writes that the teachers must go away for a while, and that Tsubaki and Sumire are in charge. Hopefully it'll make the underclassmen listen to them if it's an order from sensei. After this, she sneaks into the dorms, where she runs into Tsubaki, who was about to try and meet the teachers where they had planned.

Tsubaki: "Good morning Sensei. Are we going to the spot now?"

Konoha: "Yes, but first, I must do one thing."

Tsubaki is confused by what she says. Konoha enters the Monkey Unit's room. About ten minutes later, she comes out with Mokuren, the unit's leader. Konoha says something about Hana suddenly requesting Mokuren's help earlier this morning, despite the fact that her back injury is most likely too severe for Mokuren's healing jitsu. Still, it's worth a try, so Tsubaki takes Mokuren to the outskirts of the village, to a spot where they have planned to meet. Konoha on the other hand goes to get Hana from her house.

Sumire's already at the spot when Tsubaki and Mokuren arrive, and writing notes on her favorite clipboard. Mokuren is filled in on the situation while they wait. They're joined by the teachers soon enough, Hana leaning onto Konoha for support as they slowly make their way over. She looks worse than last night, with the constant pained expression on her face that seems to get worse with every step. Sumire wonders if they can even make it to the village like that. That's why Hana requested Mokuren though. She wants her to use healing jitsu on her before they leave. It WILL hurt her, but it might help. Best case scenario: Hana is completely fine afterwards. Worst case: scenario: Hana passes out from the pain, and Konoha has to carry her while she's out.

Mokuren raises her right hand, channeling her energy. Hana braces for impact, and Mokuren slaps her back with healing jitsu. Hana experiences a very harsh pain, and she almost screams out. Konoha covers her mouth before she can actually scream, preventing her from waking the whole village. After a few seconds to readjust, Hana can now speak.

Hana: "Didn't work..."

Mokuren: "Sorry..."

Konoha: "You don't need to apologize, this was always a gamble. Let's hope it at least makes it a bit easier for sensei to walk."

Konoha and Hana say their goodbyes to their three students, and slowly disappear into the forest. Akane is now in the hands of Tsubaki and Sumire for the next few days. But they both know that this won't be an easy task. The main reason? Because their village...

..is FULL of brats.

Troublemakers make up a good chunk of the village. Among both the upperclassmen and the underclassmen, there are girls who cause mischief. From slacking on chores to pranks to fights, trouble is not uncommon even when the teachers are present. They're not malicious kids, none of them are, they're just immature. They like to mess around, and sometimes they get heated. According to Sumire, things will be ten times worse with the teachers being gone. Which is why she's been planning out how to keep the village in check. But before she can enact the plan, the girls need to first address the village about what's going on. They'll all be waking up soon and have no idea about the departures.

On the signpost written by Konoha, the message reads:

"Hana-sensei and I will be taking a trip to help out another village. We will be gone for 2-3 days. Tsubaki and Sumire are in charge. Listen to them and behave, class will be held as normal." -Konoha

She lied in the message, most likely at Hana's request to try and hide her injury from the students. She probably doesn't want them thinking of her as weak, even for a moment. Though, a lot of the students know about her general back pain already...

Sumire: "It's as Konoha-sensei's message states. They will be gone for a few days, and in their place we are in charge. The village will run as normal. Classes will start in two hours. Don't expect to get away with slacking off."

Sumire addresses the student body of Akane, who are all now awake and in the village's center. Most of the girls stay there and talk amongst each other about how the teachers left without much warning. Tsubaki and Sumire also explain a bit more about the situation when asked by some underclassmen, but they don't mention the injury. Not long after, breakfast is ready, with the Tigers serving up another good meal. While Tsubaki usually dines with her team, today she eats separately from the Dog Unit and the rest of the village, instead eating with Sumire outside, where they can have a private meeting. There, Sumire discusses her plan with Tsubaki. The first move: recruit more responsible students to help them run Akane.

Mokuren is the first to be recruited. Tsubaki insists that she join the Team, though she wasn't originally someone that Sumire wanted to pick. Sumire has observed Mokuren's leadership methods and she finds them lacking. Monkey Unit's other two members are always arguing and getting into fights, which Mokuren never really corrects. She just cleans up whatever mess they make and heals them if necessary. She'll say something along the line of "You shouldn't fight", but she never actually steps in-between the fights. Not because she doesn't care, but because she's always gentle. Mokuren can be described as a pushover. She's very nice, and in Sumire's opinion she's nice to a fault. Tsubaki however sees her as a good addition to the Team, and having the best healer with them might be helpful, so Sumire allows her in without bringing up her own opinions.

Next up, there's Higiri of Dragon Unit. She's one of the more mature upperclassmen. She's not too dissimilar from Sumire in demeanor and even fashion sense, being a bit on the serious side, but not as strict and demanding as Sumire. With her ability to take things seriously while also remaining friendly, she'll be a good fit for the Team. Higiri's unit also doesn't cause much trouble, and can even lend a hand if needed.

Two other potential candidates include Tachiaoi of Rat Unit and Shion of Ox Unit, though both come with their own quirks that Sumire's a bit conflicted on. With the unexpected addition of Mokuren, they do have four members now and should be fine with that, but Sumire still considers having at least one more on the Team. Tsubaki isn't surprised that Sumire's put so much thought into all this. She even begins to worry that Sumire may have TOO much planned out, but her concern is interrupted by a new voice calling to the two girls. It was Touwata. She slowly walks over, wondering if it's even okay for her to be intruding on the little meeting. Tsubaki can see that she's clearly got something on her mind and calls her over.

Touwata: "The signboard is a lie, right? The real reason they left is because Hana-sensei is injured, right?"

Both upperclassmen are surprised to hear this. How did Touwata know the secret? Sumire invites her to sit with them, and asks about it. Touwata explains the Strength Stone incident that happened yesterday, which is news to them as neither Hana nor Konoha told them HOW Hana got hurt. Touwata then goes on to blame herself for the event, and then offers to help them in any way that she can, as a way of making up for it. Shes goes as far as to bow on the ground while she pleads to be given some responsibilities. Sumire picks her up and accepts her to the Team, without question. With Touwata on board, that's five members. Sumire's Team is complete.

After breakfast, Higiri and Mokuren are properly recruited, and Sumire fills everyone in on her plans for today. The next thing they'll have to do is teach today's lessons. The village's students is split between the eighteen underclassmen and seventeen upperclassmen. Konoha teaches the former and Hana teaches the later. Today, Konoha is replaced by Sumire, Higiri, and Touwata, while Hana is replaced by Tsubaki and Mokuren. While the upperclassmen generally behave when school is in, the underclassmen is where the problem lies. From smaller things like talking out of turn to bigger things like fighting with each other, Sumire plans to prevent it all from happening while she's in charge.

Classes are largely uneventful today. They end around noon, after which the students are now free to do their chores or relax if they're not tasked with anything.

The Team meets up in the dining area to further discuss some things. Sumire is unusually happy while talking about how well things went during class. For a moment she's like a child describing an accomplishment to her parents, her eyes sparkle as she proudly talks about how the underclassmen behaved after she tied Sazanka up for trying to pass notes to others. Beyond that, they discussed other things, like the village's current food supply, the Monkey Unit's medical herb supply, and having to set up extra training dummies for tomorrow's lesson. More food and herbs need to be collected, while the dummies can be set up later.

Mokuren splits off from the Team to go find her squadmates and collect medical herbs together. Realizing that her squadmates Housenka and Tsuwabuki will just start fighting again, Sumire asks Higiri to go with her and help out. Fruit collection, hunting, and fishing responsibilities usually rotate between squads. Right now the Rat Unit is supposed to fish, the Horse Unit is supposed to collect fruits, and the Sheep Unit is supposed to catch wild animals like wild rabbits and wild boars if they can. Touwata wants to find her fellow Sheep members and go hunting with them. The village has a fair amount of stored foods and crops at the moment, but more should be gotten so that they have no chance of running out.

Touwata, Sumire, and Tsubaki walk around the village together, finding Mizubashou on the outskirts. She's doing what she always does, setting up traps. Of course, the traps are close to the village, and aren't meant to catch animals, but other students. Touwata gets to scolding her older teammate. Mizubashou apologizes in the way she always does, with a sweet voice that masks the fact that she's currently thinking about making more traps. Touwata's rant about her irresponsible trap placements and her skipping out on hunting is interrupted, however, by the cries of distant girls.

Mizubashou: "Oh! Sounds like I caught someone!"

She happily dashes towards the yelling, with the Team following her. The voices come from farther into the forest, somewhere in the trees and away from any dirt paths. Despite the Akane area being fairly large, Mizubashou's traps always seem to be set in places that WILL catch other students. It's almost like she knows where they'll walk.

Sumire, Touwata, Tsubaki, and Mizubashou finally reach the source of the screaming, one of Mizubashou's net traps. In it is Itadori and Ume of Tiger Unit. The net swings on the tree branch as the two girls desperately try to get out. They are freaking out, and yelling at the girls on the ground to help them out fast. Sumire throws a kunai at the rope and the net loosens, dropping the two girls to the ground. They're out of the trap but are still visibly upset. Itadori and Ume spring up to their feet and run over to the Team.

Ume: "S-SUMIRE, TSUBAKI, T-T-T-"

Itadori: "THERE'S A GIANT IN THE FOREST!"
