Disclaimer: I do NOT own the Teen Titans in any way, shape, or form.

Hello everyone! This is the first fanfiction that I wrote, so I am an amateur not as experienced as some of you reading, so please just give me a chance and be patient with me. I am open to criticism and I will try to read/improve my writing based on the reviews.

For the story, I'm going to be including all the original Titans and other familiar faces. I have plans on exploring already existing relationships and opening new ones. I plan on having chapters with action, so if you're into that, look forward to future chapters.

Lastly, to make the characters modern, everything that happened in the show took place in the mid-2010s. The story takes place right now, which makes the entire team older. Beast Boy is seventeen, Raven is eighteen, Starfire is nineteen, Robin is nineteen and Cyborg is twenty-one.

I have some other things planned as well, but for now, I'm gonna keep them under wraps until later.

Without further ado, here is the first chapter of Forever Titans:

"Beast Boy, you're such an asshole!" Raven yelled, as a result, breaking a nearby glass frame with her powers.

"What?" Beast Boy replied as he yelled back at her, "I had to know if pop rocks could have the same reaction as mentos when they were dropped into soda! Don't blame me!"

Raven growled at the green changeling, trying with all her might not to tear his limbs clean from his body.

"Any genius or child with common sense would take their experiments OUTSIDE! Not inside their own living room where they could stain furniture and carpet; Which is what you managed to do. Look at the mess you made, you even managed to get some on my cloak!" Raven revolted.

"Well… it's science's fault, not mine! Can't you just say the magic words and get rid of all of this?" Beast boy asked.

"That's not the point!" Raven exclaimed, her black aura engulfing around her and causing Beast Boy to jump back further than where he originally was. "You never accept responsibility for your actions, and it's been pissing me and everyone off! When are you going to grow up and think?"

The two continued to scream at one another, Raven continued to criticize Beast Boy's actions, while Beast Boy was trying his best to make it out unscathed from Raven's wrath.

"What are they arguing about now?" A tired Robin asked as he entered the kitchen.

Dick was up all night trying to get a lead on the new serial killer that came into Jump City a few weeks ago. Right now, Robin couldn't be bothered getting in the middle of Beast boy and Raven's fights like the other times. If he had to stop one more altercation, he would do it by hitting both of their heads three feet under. Instead, he poured himself a nice, freshly brewed cup of coffee into a tall thermos.

"You know, Beast Boy did something stupid, Raven being a victim of his stupidity, the works," Cyborg replied, not taking a second to glance away from his paper.

"Hmph, figures," Robin replied as he took a drink from his black coffee. He gave a satisfied exhale before returning back to the conversation.

"So… how are you and Jinx doing?" Robin asked.

Cyborg looked at Robin with a distressed look on his face.

"It's… complicated. With Jinx being hours away and busy with her own hero work, there's no time for us to hang out, y'know?" Cyborg let out a depressed sigh. "But enough about me, how are you and Star, doing," He asked with a sly grin.

Robin was taken aback, his cheeks blushed a shade of pink and his body began to grow weak, which was unlike the calm and level headed leader everyone in the tower knew for all the years they spent together.

"We're doing fine. More than fine, actually. Starfire loves me and I… love her" Robin nervously replied. We couldn't be happier."

"I believe you, man. Especially after last night. I swear that is the last time I'm going to a Titan movie night if Star is picking one of those cheesy romances. I don't know what that movie did to the both of you, but, you couldn't keep your hands off one another for a single second."

"Oh, yeah. Let's uh…. Forget about that, okay, Cy?" Robin said, embarrassed. His hand scratching the back of his head as he turned from Cyborg's gaze.

"I don't know, Rob, you had everyone grossed out. Especially Beast Boy and Raven. Both of you managed to creep them out so much, they became civil with each other. They even dipped movie night and went straight to their rooms at the same time."

Cyborg continued making fun of an embarrassed Robin who was so close to running out of the kitchen in shame.

"But where is your better half anyway? She's always the first one to get up after Raven, and even you if staying up all night counts." Cyborg said.

"Star is still sleeping in my room. She's still pretty tired from last night. I mean-"

"Stop, don't want to hear anymore, I already know too much." Cyborg interrupted, officially finished with relationship talk.

Robin let out a light chuckle, something that almost nobody got to see excluding a select amount of people. That quickly changed once Robin leaned closer to Cyborg across the island countertop.

"Cyborg, your one of my closest friends, my best friend. I would never hide anything from you, but… this Judge guy. I don't have a solid lead on him yet. Nobody has seen him in action, surveillance footage doesn't show what I need to see, and there isn't a solid enough pattern of his motives. I promised the others I would find out who this guy was and have him behind bars just like all the other scum, but, I'm not sure I can do this now. I'm completely in the dark."

"Hey, man. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's only a matter of time before we find out who this Judge dude is and stop him dead in his tracks. We're the Teen Titans, and nothing stops us from takin' names and kickin' ass!"

Robin was still beating himself up over the fact that the new threat was still on the run and causing fear and terror throughout the streets of the city. It was his responsibility as a leader to be five steps ahead of whatever threat comes to their way. Right now, he was doing a poor job.

Cyborg saw the frustration on Robin's face and decided the boy wonder needed a short break from his investigations.

"Look, Robin, I think you just need a little rest. Look at yourself, you're exhausted and running on fumes and coffee. Get some rest, and I'll take over trying to figure out who this Judge guy is." Cyborg said

"Cyborg, that won't be necessary, I'm more than able to handle the... " Robin was unable to finish his statement once he got a good look at how serious Cyborg looked.

"Well… It has been a while since I got an actual good night's rest. I'll catch a few Z's, but only for a couple of hours!" Robin stated, beginning to make his way out of the kitchen.

"Hmm, sure you are," Cyborg responded lowly, but loud enough for Robin to hear.

Robin stopped dead in his tracks, and with a slight turn of his head thanked the tin man before making his way towards his room.

Cyborg couldn't help but let a small smile spread across his face as he began to finish reading his newspaper. It only took a couple of seconds to remember what the situation was before Robin came.

The sound of the team's sorceress screams and the green shapeshifter whining came flooding back to Victor.

"You know what, I can't continue to deal with your bullshit, Beast Boy. If you can't accept that you were wrong, there's absolutely no point in trying to talk to an idiot like you!" Raven spat, as she left the living room.

"Oh, yeah? I might be irresponsible, but… your…" Beast boy, let out a silent groan, as he was unable to come up with a witty comeback.

"Ooh, you sure showed her." Cyborg sarcastically said to Beast Boy.

"Shut up, Cy." Beast Boy scoffed as he made his way to the fridge. "Aw, man! Who ate all of my tofu?" Beast boy whined.

"No one ate it, I threw it out to make room for all the meat I bought yesterday," Cyborg replied, flipping through another page of his paper.

Beast Boy glared at the tin man with intent to kill.

"What? It was on sale. How could I not have gotten it? You should've seen the prices, it was practically a steal!" Cyborg said, throwing his hands in the air.

Beast Boy simply shook his head and settled on having soy milk and toast for breakfast.

"It was probably karma for what you did to Raven and the living room, which your cleaning by the way," Cyborg stated, giving him a stern look.

"Yeah, whatever." Beast Boy replied, putting two slices of bread in the toaster as he began to drink the soy straight from the source. "Raven is just overreacting as always, in a few hours, she'll go back to her calm and sarcastic ways as before."

Cyborg gave Beast Boy a concerned look.

"I don't know, grass stain, she may have gotten a better grip of her powers over the past few years, but that doesn't mean she can't rip your head clean from your shoulders."

Beast Boy replied with a scoff and taking another swig of the soy milk and setting it down on a nearby counter.

"Pshh, I would love to see her try, it'll take more than a simple magic trick to kill the Beast Man!" Beast Boy, said proudly.

Cyborg shook his head and smiled brightly out of nowhere.

"Hey, Raven, how long have you been standin' behind the 'Beast Man' for?

Beast boy let out a scared, high pitched squeal, turning into a lizard and jumping onto the ceiling. Beast Boy searched for any sign of the purple-haired goth, but there wasn't any trace of her. It didn't take long for even an idiot like Beast Boy to know Cyborg pranked him.

The hysterical sound of Cyborg's laughter filled the room. A still morphed Beast Boy fell towards the floor and transformed into his human self mid-fall.

"Not. Funny." Beast Boy said, but, to no prevail, Cyborg ignored him and continued to laugh, hitting the countertop as tears began to fall from his eyes.

Beast Boy rolled his eyes in annoyance, grabbing his freshly toasted bread, and making his way out of the kitchen, leaving Cyborg alone to the sound of his sounds of laughter.

Beast Boy made it to his destination, only, it wasn't his door.

He knocked on the door five times and lightly tapped the bottom of the door two times. After that, he waited patiently for a response.

It wouldn't take long for a familiar purple hair girl to open the door for him. Her hood covered a majority of her face, while her violet eyes glared at him with no sense of emotion.

"Hey, Rae, I just wanted to apologize for what I did earlier. It was stupid of me and childish, I hope I didn't get you too upset when I got soda over you." Beast Boy said sheepishly.

There was a brief pause before Raven spoke.

"You're forgiven, now leave." She said as she began to close the door.

"Rae, wait!" Beast Boy, exclaimed, causing her to stop in her tracks.

"I was hoping to apologize in another way as well." He said, giving her his signature toothy grin.

Raven removed the hood from her head, letting Beast Boy see her static face. Her eyebrow was raised in a state of question. Beast Boy gave a loud gulp, worried about how she would react and what amount of pain he should be expecting from her. He was going to say something else until Raven decided to speak.

"Took you long enough to get here, Gar," Raven said, grabbing his face and pulling him in for a kiss.
