Chapter 10: Fifi's Not-So Enchanting Meeting

Danny was dealing with the Guys In White, who were still after him.

"Surrender now, Phantom! We have you outnumbered!..."O ordered.

"And outmatched!..."K said as he fired again.

However, due to the low quality of the weapons, they were weak shots and Danny easily deflected them with a bored face.

Star was impressed with her boyfriend ability to handle two government funded ghost hunters with such ease, but she wanted some of the action too. She didn't want to stay on the sidelines.

"I gotta help him. Sure, I know that my Danny-boo really need my help in dealing with these two clowns, but I still can't stand these creeps. Plus, I can use some exercise..."She thought, as she prepared herself.

"Seriously, I'm kind of thinking that I shouldn't be here. Maybe you guys will have better luck hunting ghosts more your level, like the Box Ghost or maybe the Lunch Lady ghost, since her ghost powers can actually stain your uniforms..."Danny snarked.

"Don't mock us!..."O and K both snapped.

"Then maybe you two should put up a better fight!..."Star said as she joined the scene, wearing her disguise.

O and K saw her and glared at the new addition to the battle.

"Another one of Phantom's fangirls. For interfering with government business, you are under arrest and will be detained!..."O said, pointing at her.

Star rolled her eyes.

"You do realize that you need a warrant to do that...and I know a good lawyer who can tell you that you have no authority to harm me..."Star said, having gained that knowledge from her father.

"Also, do you idiots even have permission from your boss to even be hunting Danny?..."She asked, fists at her hips.

"We don't NEED permission to deal with ghosts!..."K snapped, gritting his teeth.

"Especially that one!..."O added, pointing at Danny.

"Besides, getting permission or not won't matter, once apprehend our self assigned targets. We might even promotions and raises for completing this mission!..."O added, thinking that the possible benefits out weighs the potential punishments.

Danny rolled his eyes as Star remained disappointed they've learned nothing from past experiences.

"They really haven't changed at all..."Star thought, shaking her head.

"You two really are pathetic..." Star said to them.

"No kidding, and you both have gotten lamer. As evident by new toys that are less funded by tax payer money..." Danny mocked as he flew through the air and kept on dodging their blasts at him.

"Hold still!..." O shouted.

"No thanks..." Danny said, as he kept dodging their attack like it was child's play.

"Leave him alone, you wastes of space!..."Star said, using her saber and acrobatics skills to avoid shots and bat them away.

One shot went past O's head, angering him.

"ARE YOU INSANE?! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?..."O yelled.

"Do you have anything idea of the consequences of your actions of associating yourself with the likes of him?!..."K yelled, baffled that a human would even consider helping a ghost.

"Beats letting you guys endanger people's lives when you're on the job..."Star said with edge in her voice, much to the government agents' surprise.

The mysterious newcomer had now joined the battle and got in their way of hunting the ghost boy.

What was most shocking to them was that she was just as, if not more of a hand full than the Danny Phantom.

Mainly because they didn't know what would happen if they were to get caught firing their weapons on non-ghost citizens, even if said citizens got in their way of doing their duty.

The two agents both felt rage at her helping Danny.

"Take that girl down!..."O yelled as he kept firing.

"On it!..."K yelled, aiming at her now.

He had no problem with hurting her as he personally believes that laws are unbreakable rules that should only be broken when greater problems are involved. Helping a ghost, to him, was one of those problems.

Danny, however, had enough of this.

"I so don't have time for this..."He said, deciding to finish this .

With a wave of his hand, he created a large wall of ice, blocking them.

"Darn it! We don't have the power to break through this!..." O went.

"RETREAT!..." K shouted.

With the two agents gone, the teen couple calmed down.

"I see that they're still haven't learned their lesson from last time, and that they're still a waste of tax payer money..."Star snarked, irritated.

"They'll be back, no doubt..."Danny said.

"You want me to call my dad and have him call their boss? They basically admitted they don't have authorization to hunt you. So, I could get them fired. It would literally be a single call away..."Star said.

Before Danny could agree to that, he noticed something.

"Wait a minute..."Danny said, as he looked worried now.

"What's wrong?..."Star asked.

"Oh crud, Cujo's gone!..."He exclaimed.

"Not again. We really need to get some ghost proof leash for him..."Star said, rolling her eyes.

"Getting those idiots fired will have to wait..." Danny said as they decided to call reinforcements.

With that, they made some calls.

Later

Team Phantom soon showed up, with Danny and Star soon filling them in with all the details of what just happened.

"The Guys in White are back?! Are you kidding me?!..."Sam exclaimed, very annoyed and angered that government agents are antagonizing Team Phantom yet again.

"Yeah, but we don't have to worry much. They don't have authorization to hunt here and even their weapons are pretty low quality now. I worked up more of a sweat fighting off Klemper than them to be honest. But that's not the problem here..."Danny said.

"We found Cujo, but he snuck away during the fight...and I think he's going after Fifi..."Star said.

"Why do you think that?..."Jazz asked.

"Because he likes her..."Danny explained.

Everyone stayed silent.

"Come again?..." Jazz asked.

"Cujo's into some... stuffy and pampered little poodle?!..." Sam questioned before noticing the glare on Star's face.

"Uh... no offense..."She said sheepishly.

"Some taken..." Star answered, glaring at her.

"Heh... sorry..." Sam went.

"And what's wrong with poodles?!..."She asked, offended on Fifi's behalf.

"I mean...I like all animals...but...well, you know...poodles and show dogs bred for rich people and are usually spoiled as they are..."Sam said with a shrug.

Star glared at that.

"I'll have you know that is not true and Fifi is the sweetest dog ever. You won't find anything sweeter in the entire world. The only reason she's a show dog is because my mom is obsessed with those things almost as much as she is with beauty pageants. Fifi is one of the few things she has at that penthouse that she adores almost as much as Pierre..."Star said, looking ticked off.

"Oh...I see..."Sam said, regretting what she said.

"We don't have time for this. We gotta hustle..."Tucker said, and the others nodded.

"If Cujo's going after Fifi, that means that he's probably heading where your mom and her skunk of a husband are going..."Danny said.

"They're going to the country club to meet up with Jean-Luc's snooty friends to set Fifi up with their dog..."Star said, which caused Danny to panic.

"Oh no, this isn't good! If Cujo goes there and gets excited again or gets jealous, he'll go monster dog and you're mom and Eleanor could get hurt!..."Danny said, very concerned for the safety and well-being of the people around Cujo.

"I noticed that you didn't say Jean Luc's name there..."Tucker pointed out.

"Would you?..."Danny asked.

"Nope, I hate the guy too..."Tucker said, not blaming his friend's choice of words at all.

"Okay, since we're all in agreement on who to actually worry about..." Sam said, expecting someone to finish.

"Let's just go to the club, find Cujo and while we're there, maybe convince my mom not to go through with the breeding thing and let Fifi be with a dog she actually likes..."Star said, still feeling great sympathy for her mother's pet dog.

"On it..." They said in unison.

Team Phantom soon left to go to the country club, now focused on getting everyone, with some reluctance for Jean-Luc, out of harm's way.

All while trying to stop a matchmaking mistake between canines from happening too.

Meanwhile

Cujo was in the air right now, trying to search for Fifi.

"Fifi, where could you have been taken too?..."Cujo said, looking desperate.

He sniffed the air and immediately stopped in midair as he just sniffed a very familiar scent that he smelled before.

"Wait a minute..."He paused.

He smell the exact same mixture of Fifi natural scent with the same perfume that she wore when he first caught sight of her. Now with the right scent locked in his nose, he quickly raced through the clouds as he stuck his tongue out while he was soaring through the air, track down the specific scent to him while still in the air.

He soon picked up the pampered poodle's scent and his tail wagged.

"Got her. She's this way. Don't worry, Fifi. Have no fear, Cujo is on his way..."Cujo said, as he briefly wondered why he referred to himself in a third person just now, but immediately shook that thought away.

He had to focus on rescuing his Fifi.

The ghostly dog soon followed her scent, hoping to find the lovely poodle soon enough.

Later

At The Country Club

The Bevier couple soon arrived to the club, getting out of their limo. Jean Luc brought Fifi out, while Stella got Pierre out of his car seat.

However the Bevier father was in a bad mood right now.

"I still cannot believe that so-called babysitter had to cancel due to a mere cold of all things..."Jean Luc complained.

"It's not Alyssa's fault that she caught a cold and that she had to cancel on us. Her sister sounded very concerned when she called us of her unavailability. Besides, it's a bad idea to work if you're sick and she could easily get Pierre sick too..."Stella said, as she held their son in her arms.

"I suppose..."Jean-Luc said, thankful that he didn't need to pay the babysitter today.

"That still doesn't excuse that loud mouth but attractive woman giving me grief but as long as she knows her place, we will be good..."He thought, before remembering why and what they were here for.

"Why couldn't you just order Estelle to watch over him then?..."Jean-Luc asked, as he wondered why they couldn't just exploit his wife's daughter services as a babysitter.

"I trust Star, but she's out with Danny right now. It's too last minute and I'd hate to burden her when she finally had some free time from her studies, cheer routines and any random monster or madman I've seen her deal with..."Stella said, trying be considerate to her daughter's personal life.

"You're far too lenient on that girl, Mon Cheri. What is that old say, spare the rod, spoil the child? You've spared and spoiled her enough..."Jean-Luc said, while not looking up from his cellphone, also not even realizing how hypothetical he was being right now.

All the while, Fifi, now washed and dressed up again, the outfit that she's dressed in did make her look appealing, but was a bit uncomfortable for her.

"Here we go again. I'm in an itchy outfit and going to a place that doesn't let dogs act like dogs. Not a good sign..."She thought gloomily, her tail curls between her legs.

"I rather be playing with Cujo. He must miss me..."She thought as her owner's reached the front door.

"Come now, Fifi. You're dream dog awaits you..."Stella said, as they entered through the doors.

"Oh right. How could I forget that new addition to this terrible turn of events today?" Fifi thought with sarcastic tone.

But she was provided for, and the least she could do was not embarrass Stella. Now Jean-Luc, on the other hand...

She'll find a way to humiliate him later.

Inside

Stella and Jean Luc were now inside the club.

Jean-Luc dragged Fifi by the leash, while Stella carried Pierre.

The man either did not notice or care that he was almost choking the small dog from how he was holding the canine tether. And Stella was too distracted with Pierre to notice.

This was a bad omen.

Fifi was whimpering and Jean Luc frowned.

"Fifi, behave!..."He said, making her dog stop whining.

Fifi was quiet as her owners did the talking. They soon entered the Platinum room, while trying to ready themselves until their guests arrive.

"Here we are..."Stella said, looking excited as they went to their table.

Once they were there, they waited for their guests to arrive. As Stella placed Pierre in his high chair and give him his favorite stuffed tiger to play with, that is when everyone heard the doors opened.

Jean-Luc's friends, William Bradley Caledon Barrington-Upham, and his wife Clarice Martha Annabel Barrington-Upham had arrived and they have brought their pure breed dog with them too.

Stella and her husband both smiled once they saw that their equally wealthy friends had just arrived.

"William, Clarice. It has been too long since we've met face to face. I had almost forgotten how expensive your suits are..."Jean-Luc said in a sophisticated sort of way.

"Likewise, Jean Luc. It is good to see one of high society. I also see you're still with the mustache..."William said in a posh accent while their wives chatted.

"Clarice, I haven't seen you since the wedding. You look marvelous..."Stella said in a extravagant way.

"Of course I do, I just came back from my spa trip in Sweden and my skin is as clean as clean gets..."Clarice said, in a snooty way, before smiling.

"I adore your dress, Stella. I can tell that it must be from the new spring collection in Paris..."She said.

"You're not wrong, Clarice. You've always have an eye for the latest fashion trends..."Stella said, as she twirled for a moment to flaunt the design of the exotic wear.

"Come. Let us make up for lost time..."Jean Luc said, as they were all sat at the table now.

The wealthy couples began to chat and make small talk about one another, all while trying to look as impressive as can be. Clarice saw Pierre and cooed at him.

"Your son has gotten quite big. He will certainly grow to become a sophisticated gentleman someday..."Clarice said in a cooing way, wanting to pinch his adorable baby cheeks.

"Thank you..."Stella said, while Pierre played with a spoon.

He even somehow managed to do the "spoon on top of his nose" trick, but no one paid much attention to his actions as little Pierre continued playing with other spoons. It was certainly adorable, had any of the adults watched him.

They continued to schmooze each other, almost completely lost in the conversation. However, before any more snooty discussions could be made, someone brought up a question that was relevant to the whole reason they were there to begin with.

"So, where is this lovely poodle you have claimed to being a worthy match for our Winthrop?..."William asked, wanting to get down to business.

"Oh right. Fifi was really excited to meet all of you and we got her all ready..."Stella said, as she and Jean Luc presented their dog to them.

Fifi, being dressed up in her nicest doggy outfit and collar, to sit and stay as commended to have their respective dogs officially meet one another.

"Here she is. All ready for the first date between our two dogs..."Stella said cheerfully, as they presented the poodle.

"That is, if you two find her acceptable to being couple with your champion pure bred?..."Jean Luc said, hoping that this meeting will go well.

The Barrington-Upham couple saw her and examined her from head to two.

The wealthy couple eyed her critically and Fifi felt uncomfortable.

"They have the same eyes as those judges from the dog show...but they have even less concern in them than those humans did and they don't seem like they give any privacy..."She thought nervously, while the rich couple gave her critical stares.

"Well, she at least has good bone structure and her fur looks to be from top to bottom clean and well groomed. She is also styled in a proper manner, so I suppose it is good..."Madame Barrington-Upham said as she eyed the female dog like she was checking the quality of a gemstone.

"Not to mention, that her fur coat shines like jewelry. However, that could be the work of a talented dog groomer in this town. Perhaps there's some value in this town, if slightly..."William said critically while Jean Luc began to worry.

He then pulled out Fifi's papers and certificates, and handed them over.

"Here are her papers, I'm positive that you will find everything satisfactory. She's a pure bred through and through..."Jean Luc said as he grinned smugly.

"She's also the sweetest dog ever. She loves to sleep on my lap..."Stella said, but but her compliment fell flat in the ears of high society.

She now realizes they didn't pay attention to her words. The other couple examined the documents and seemed slightly amused.

"A purebred and a dog pageant winner as well. Impressive, at least so far. Everything seems to be in order. She certainly is an impressive canine for her size..."Sir Barrington-Upham said as he looked to be in a agreeable mood.

"And an impressive choice as a bride for our dear Winthrop..."Clarice said, with approval.

"That's so great to hear. Now to introduce her to her new mate..."Jean Luc said.

"I'm sure that those two will get along swimmingly. Fifi's the best doggie ever..."Stella said while Pierre wanted her attention.

"Fifi! Play!..."Pierre let out while his mother quickly gave him his favorite pacifier.

"Not now, Darling. Fifi is on a date right now. It's best to leave her be and have some fun..."Stella said, noting the slight disappointment on her son's face.

Fun. That was not the words Fifi would use to describe this predicament.

"Here is our dog..."William said, looking smug as his wife presented a very fancy looking male poodle.

"Say hello to Lord Winthrop the Fifth. A purebred and champion, the cream of the crop..."Clarice said in a bragging way.

"Such a handsome beast, isn't he?..."Stella asked her dog.

"A fine match for Fifi. Purebred and well groomed..."Jean Luc said, as grinned at how this would work out.

Neither noticed the disappointment on Fifi's face.

"Very well, let's have them converse amongst themselves and then we can get to business talks later..."Sir Barrington-Upham said, as he was more concerned about his dog than his business meeting with Jean-Luc.

Jean-Luc noticed this and discreetly rolled his eyes at being in the presents of more over affectionate dog lovers. He'd never understand the flea-bitten animals, but they provided a networking method for him.

And that was good enough.

"Very well..." He said, hiding his impatience.

The couples soon presented their dogs to each other and Fifi was now in front of Lord Winthrop the 5th. She didn't want to be here, but she also knew that she had to play nice for her owners. That meant one thing. The poodle then made the first move.

"How do you do?..."Fifi said to be polite.

"Oh, fabulous. I just arrived to this two-bit gutter trash of a town after being nominated and awarded for best groomed show dog at the Summer competition held by the most prestigious of families in London..."Lord Winthrop said.

Fifi frowned, already deciding that she doesn't like him.

"Too bad you couldn't stay there..."Fifi snarked.

Usually, she was submissive around other show dogs, but she didn't want to be around this dog anymore.

"I know. It is quite lovely this time of year..." Lord Winthrop said.

Fifi scowled at his lack of understanding sarcasm.

Their owners, however, completely misread the banter or lack there was between these two. They misinterpreted their interactions.

"Aw, puppy love. I think they like each other..."Stella said, clearly blind to what's really going on.

Fifi turned her head to look at Stella, who clearly didn't get why she wanted her to befriend this stuck up pampered dog. There was nothing fun to do except look pretty and sleep.

If anything, she wanted to be as far away as possible.

"If she thinks that I like this sorry excuse for a dog, she has even less sense than that idiot mate of hers..."She thought, angry at the idea of her liking this arrogant fool.

However, her owners were unaware of Fifi's thoughts and feelings, and they just continued to chat with the Barrington-Uphans, as the dogs "got to know each other better".

"Come, we can discuss how we can raise their puppies during the meeting..." Stella said.

While the owners were discussing amongst themselves and having a meal while doing so. The dogs were doing more or less the something...so to speak.

"So... when was the last time you happened to have alligator or kangaroo meat? They are quite exotic..." Winthrop went with a snobbish tone.

"This should be fun..." Fifi thought in displeasure.

As she continued to be bored by the fancy male poodle, her mind went back to Cujo and how much fun she had with him...and how much she'd rather be with him right now.

Meanwhile

The humans were still chatting and trying to catch up with each other, as well as gloating about rich people stuff.

Suddenly, the topic of family came up.

"So, how are you're children doing? Where is that lovely daughter of yours?..."Clarice asked.

Jean-Luc and Stella both flinched.

"Oh, Colette couldn't make it. The poor thing is still being treated due to her accident..."Stella said, censoring some details.

"Oh, poor thing. We will be sure to send a basket of rare fruits..."Clarice offered.

"Quite, Sekai Ichi apples should do..."William said, waving his hand as if no big deal.

"Thank you..."Stella said, to be polite.

"What of that other daughter of yours? The one from your previous marriage?..."William asked.

"Star? Oh, she's doing wonderfully. With her lovely boyfriend..."Stella said, not seeing Jean-Luc scoff.

"That's good to hear. And to think, we heard rumors that she was dating some peasant from a family of ghost hunters of all things. How pathetic, good of her not to be with this Drew person we heard of..."Clarice laughed in a snooty way, showing a lack of concern for lower classes.

Stella heard this and frowned.

"His name is Danny..."Stella said, crossing his arms.

"Pardon?..."Clarice asked, only to see the angry look for the blonde woman.

Stella looked angry but recalling that they were her husband's business partners, she settled with just using her words.

"Danny is dating my Star and he happens to be a very nice boy. He treats my daughter with respect and I think they're wonderful together..."Stella said as Jean-Luc rolled his eyes.

"Agree to disagree..."Jean Luc said, while his wife sent him an annoyed look.

"Da-Danny..."Pierre let out a giggle, much to his father's displeasure.

"So... those rumors wer-..."William wat cut off, by the blonde housewife.

"True... and I kindly thank you not badmouth anyone my daughter loves, likes or even remotely has a positive opinion of around me..." Stella warned harshly.

"Uh...I see..."Clarice said, not apologizing but looking sheepish.

Stella frowned.

"Has she always been like this? Honestly, if this wasn't for Fifi's happiness, I'd leave already..."She thought, while her husband continued to try and "salvage" whatever this was with his friends.

A few moments later

Soon, a waiter brought the pampered pets some gourmet foods meant for them as Winthrop continued talking.

"Wonderful, prime rib, perfect for making sure my fur grows ideally..."Lord Winthrop said in a self-absorbed way.

"But enough about that, let's talk more about me and the kind of dog you are to be if you're up to my standards. Just to be clear, you fit the first part, you're beautiful. Not to mention, that ideal size as well, not too big or small for my tastes..."He said, as he kept bragging and made unwanted compliments.

Fifi was getting really annoyed.

"He really likes talking about himself...and the sound of his own voice too, it seems..."She thought, irritated.

"Now... let's talk about my many awards that I've won in many competitions. You will see how I refined and developed I am..." Winthrop said.

"Let's not..."Fifi whispered under her breath, while he kept gloating about himself.

"Very well... let's discuss my many prizes and trophy cases that are polished spotless every night. And how I won every single one of them. They might as well have given them to me the second I walked in..." He went with a snobbish laugh.

"This is so unbearable. I almost wish I was attacked by rats..."Fifi thought, thinking that no one could be having a more awful time than her.

Said thought would be proven wrong somewhere else.

Meanwhile

In France

On a sunny beach, a certain couple were still in the middle of enjoying their honeymoon.

It was Alicia and Vlad.

Alicia was wearing a new bathing suit that Vlad bought with his money, and Vlad was wearing some black swim trunks. They were currently sun bathing in a private spot on the beach, and no one else was here right now.

"Oh, Vlad. This is wonderful. I still can't believe that you actually rented out the whole beach for the day..."Alicia said, smiling widely.

"I can't believe that I spent tens of thousands of dollars again. At this rate, I'm going to lose my title of richest man in the world before I know it..."Vlad thought, distressed.

"Well, nothing is too good for you. Also, I couldn't let any other men see my lovely wife in a swim suit. They might get ideas..."Vlad said, internally cringing.

"More like they'd all wretch at the sight of this shaven gorilla in a swim suit...but at least no one will see me with her and I don't have to worry about more witnesses to this humiliation..."Vlad thought, while his wife giggled.

"Oh, you're the jealous type huh?..."Alicia giggled. "No worries, Sugar lamb, I'm all you're for ever..."Alicia said, as she hugged him tight.

"Darn..."Vlad cursed, as he was kissed her again.

Alicia then set him a grin, and then pulled out a frisbee.

"Let's go play frisbee...and afterwards, I'm gonna give ya a heap of lovin where no one can see us..."Alicia said, with a lustful look on her face.

Vlad gulped, as Alicia grabbed him and carried him bridal style to continue their "fun".

"Why me?!..."He thought, as his romantic torture at the hands of his homely wife continued.

Back in America

Fifi was still having dinner with Winthrop, who was still bragging and bringing up how amazing he thought he was.

"I miss Cujo so much. He'd probably have thought about 10 different fun things to do by now..."She thought, unable to bare this.

She longed to be in the ghost dog's company much more than egotistical dog. The wished evolution gave her hands to plug her ears too, especially as the egotistical dog has yet to stop talking about himself.

"And that's when I won my 7th competition. I was a born winner... fitting as my name is Winthrop..." He said before laughing.

"You might be named Winthrop... I feel like the Lose-throp for being stuck here..."Fifi grumbled.

"Indeed... what your human has put on you is the only flaw in your magnificent appearance..."Winthrop said, eyeing her collar in a critical manner.

"Excuse me?..."Fifi asked, offended.

"Is that dreadful collar you're wearing from last year's model? How untrendy can you possibly get in this run-down town?..."Winthrop criticized.

Fifi became much angrier now.

"Madame gave me this collar for my last birthday! It's just like the first one she gave me as a puppy, it's my most important treasure..."Fifi said defensively.

"Madame? What are you going on about? Do you mean the human woman?..."Winthrop asked.

"Yes, Madame is my owner. She is like my mother and I would appreciate that you apologize for what you said..."Fifi said.

The male poodle scoffed and sent a disdainful look towards Stella. He laughed at the very suggestion of a pure bred dog apologizing to a human.

"You mean that human, it's rather ridiculous to refer to your human in that way. They're here to serve us, not for us to look up to them..."Winthrop said, not noticing the icy glare Fifi was sending him.

"If you are going to become my mate and the mother of my puppies, you will definitely need to upgrade your wardrobe and avoid speaking of those tall beasts so affectionately as I do not want my next of kin to think of them as anything more than servants..."Winthrop said in a snooty way, showing his less than ideal opinion of humans.

The female dog gasped, and got angry, appalled by what she had just heard.

"What are you talking about? Who said that I was going to have your pups?!..."Fifi said, glaring at him.

"Why else would those humans have bothered to bring you to my presence or attention to begin with? The only time humans present a male and female pure bred of our caliber is so that we can mate. You are easy on the eyes, but a bit slow on the intake. Our humans are here to serve us, it's rather obvious since they feed us and arrange things for us..."Winthrop said, looking smug.

Fifi looked repulsed and bared her teeth.

"Okay! Forget this!..."She barked at him, making him become startled.

"What are you doing?!..." He asked, glaring at her.

"I'd rather have puppies with a rat than you!..." Fifi went.

"Excuse me?!..."Winthrop snapped, looking offended.

"You heard me! In fact, a cat would probably act more like a dog than you!..."Fifi snapped, barking angrily.

"How dare you?! Do you have any idea who I am?!..." He shouted, as it was a strong insult to compare a dog to a cat of all animals.

"Don't care. As far as I'm concerned, you're as unbearable as Madame's idiot mate!..."Fifi snapped, as she kept barking up a storm.

"Stop this!..." Winthrop went, as he barked back at her.

"No!..." Fifi went, having had enough of his pompous attitude.

The two pure bred kept arguing and barking at each other, getting louder with each bark.

Stella noticed the barking, thinking something is wrong.

"Fifi doesn't seem to be okay..." She said, worried.

She wanted to get up, but Jean-Luc stopped her.

"It is fine... she's just starting to get to know him..." He said, clearly not caring.

"That sounds more like she doesn't want to get to know him..." Stella said.

"Fifi?..." Pierre said, as even he showed the same sighs of concern as his mother does for her beloved pet dog.

His father, however, was only concerned with the business side of things.

"Mon Cheri, dogs are just... like that. Please sit down and let's just resume our meeting..." Jean-Luc said, not even bothering to look at her or Fifi.

Stella was growing increasingly concerned while William and Clarice had their thoughts on something else.

"That little beast better not have bitten my Winthrop..."William said, thinking his dog was in danger.

Little did he know, that was strike one for Stella.

Meanwhile

Danny and the others soon arrived to the country club.

"We're here. The place is still standing so Cujo isn't here yet or hasn't morphed yet..."Danny said.

"Hopefully, he'll stay small and cute until we get him out of there..."Star said, as they tried to go inside.

They went to the bouncer and presented themselves.

"Star Strong, daughter of Stella Bevier. She's inside right now..."Star said.

"Sam Manson, my grandmother is Ida Manson..."Sam said, rolling her eyes.

"They are with us, as our guests..."Star said, pointing to Danny, Jazz and Tucker.

"Alright... you're folks are on the list..." The bouncer said, as he soon let them inside the club.

Now inside the club, they had the opportunity to search.

"Okay, we should probably split up and look for Cujo..."Danny suggested.

"Good idea..."Star said.

"Danny and I will check where my mom and Fifi are, you guys check everywhere else and call us if you spot the little guy..."Star said.

"On it..."Sam nodded.

"Sure..."Tucker said.

"We'll be back with the ghostly dog known as the Hound Haunter..."Jazz said, while Team Phantom sent her an annoyed look.

"His name is Cujo!..."They all snapped.

"Seriously, you called him Cujo before. Why would you give him a new nickname now?..."Star asked.

"I thought it sounded cute..."Jazz said.

"It wasn't..."Sam said, earning an eyeroll from the elder Fenton sibling.

"We don't have time for this. Come on, we have two dogs to save and/or avoid seeing them cause destruction..."Danny said.

"Right, especially the latter..."Star said.

Team Phantom soon began to explore the country club, in hopes of finding the ghostly pooch before he got into even more mischief.

Little did they know, Cujo has only just made his way here.

Meanwhile

Cujo had arrived to the country club, but he came for one reason only.

He wanted to see Fifi again. He picked up her scent and came here, hoping to spend more time with her.

"She's here. I know it..."Cujo said, tail wagging.

However, his nose picked up the smell of meat and food from the kitchen and drooled a bit.

"Meat..."He thought before shaking his head.

"Not the time...gotta find Fifi first...and then we can grab a bite to eat..."He thought, as he ran for it.

Cujo continued his search and find Fifi.

If he's lucky, there will be no transformations.

If he's lucky...

Unknown to the little pooch, he wasn't the only one sneaking onto the club's grounds, only not for Fifi.

They were here for him!

Oh man...

Here are my responses to your questions:

1) Yes.

2) I liked how he gave Danny another chance with the C.A.T. test.

3) I think she was born a ghost, since her parents were already ghosts.

4) He'd most likely call the authorities to inform them about what happened, and tries to convince his parents to take it in if no one else can take it in.

5) Dog with a blog.
