Chapter 383: Lincoln vs Taylor...

(October 10. Royal Woods Middle School. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

We see Michelle Lewis, dropping off her son at school and her son gets out and looks to the school, but then his mother speaks. "Be safe kiddo, and be careful since the bullies are still around."

Lincoln nods. "I know mom, and I got this. I know that they will cause trouble, but they won't be able to make that move. I can handle this."

Michelle has some concerns, and she recalls how ticked off Luna was when she heard of this incident, and she is at the school already. "Alright, but just be aware around you, kiddo." Michelle then drives off, and Lincoln heads over to his friends again. They came here before Lincoln did.

"Hey guys, so how was the bus ride?"

Rusty speaks. "They were legit not there. Looks like they won't be picking on everyone anymore."

Zach speaks. "Technically, they aren't allowed to take the bus anymore."

Hassan speaks. "Plus, they got themselves stuck for five weeks of detention, even on the weekends."

"Serves them right" replied Sadie. "Those three don't know, that this is not Hazeltucky. Also, the bus driver is fired for not even getting involved and stopping the bullying. Apparently the driver was wearing headphones and looked too sleepy to even do his job!"

Lincoln nods. "Good to know, and hopefully we won't have to encounter them today, but if they do then they're all going to be in for a heap of trouble. The school literally has eyes locked onto them now. Also, wow! The bus driver? Well, I hope the new driver for the bus can do their job a little bit better."

But while they head into the school, they didn't notice the bullies who arrived, and they glare at the white haired kid. Pablo then asks. "So, what the heck do we do now Taylor?"

Anderson growls. "Yeah, I wanna give that kid a beating that he'll never ever forget, and make him pay for ruining our first day here. He thinks he's so tough and brave to stand up to us? Well, he's not and just some loser."

Taylor thinks, and then she has an idea. "I'll handle this guys. Let me confront this white haired piece of turd, you guys stay out. I wanna make sure he doesn't ever pick a fight or ever be brave again." Anderson and Pablo snicker hearing this, and deep down Taylor is determined. 'That kid is gonna get what's coming to him, and there's no one who will save him from me later!'

(Later in the day.)

Lincoln heads for his locker, but as he opens it he sees this note and he reads it. "Wait, what?" He then closes the locker, and he goes to where he has to meet the bully, and it is at the back of the school.

As Lincoln heads there, he is concerned about this, then Jordan walks up to him. "Linc, where are you going?"

"A note from the bully leader, Taylor. She wants to speak with me at the back of the school, and she said that she won't have her two goons by her side. Still, I don't like this" replied Lincoln. "And yet, I gotta go and see what the heck does she want."

Jordan is surprised by this. She is deeply concerned for her boyfriend. "Are you sure that this is such a good idea? You want me to tag along?"

Lincoln then kisses her cheek. "Calm down, and don't get involved. I can handle this, I have been through worse, and one bully is like dealing with Chandler. Everything will be alright." They share a hug, and then he heads off. Jordan feels concerned, and she needs to look for Lynn Jr, she will need some help should something happen.

Lincoln makes it to the back of the school, and then he sees Taylor is there, and she has her arms crossed and under the shade of the tree. "Didn't think a dork like you would even bother to show up."

Lincoln is not intimidated. "I'm here now, as you wanted me to do in the dumb note. So, what the heck do you want with me Taylor? This some kind of trap?"

Taylor then confronts the kid with a stern glare. "Yesterday, you messed with me and my friends. You ruined our first day, and broke the one code that always has been around schools for a long time, where the strong and popular are on top, and the pathetic and weak remain at the bottom. So, I am here to teach you a harsh lesson on the real and true school standards!"

Lincoln doesn't seem scared, and he is ready to fight. He scoffs. "Big deal, doesn't seem new to me."

Taylor is surprised to hear this. "Wait, what?! You should be scared! Why aren't you cowering and begging for me to spare you?! Stop being brave!"

Lincoln then explains, as he cracks his knuckles. "Seriously? Wow, I guess you never heard. Well, I have encountered trouble before, and a lot of them either wanna beat me to a pulp, hold me hostage or just straight out kill me. I have had to deal with my former family who re ten sisters, and two neglectful stupid parents who made sure I was left out from a lot of stuff."

"That stuff was somewhere before and around the time Michelle Lewis adopted me and my big sister. I have seen my many fair shares of near death, and that stuff is scarier than what you are doing right now. I have watched other bad people, and delusional psychos either getting killed and/or arrested, so whatever the heck you have planned for me is not gonna bring me down. Because I don't give up."

Deep down, Lincoln is confused. 'Why the heck did I say that John Cena line?!' But then he regains himself. "Also, seeing how you are being tough and all bully-like, it just goes to show that the only one who is really afraid here is you."

This confuses Taylor. "Wait, what? W-What are you talking about?"

Lincoln then explains. "Taylor, you are scared of fitting in. I can see it all clear as day. You like to act like this bully, because you are afraid of how people would think of you for letting your emotions and feelings get the best of you. That is the sole reason why you have Anderson and Pablo with you, you think those two are you're friends when clearly they are the bullies... but I know, that you are not."

Taylor is stunned to hear this, but then she shares it off and she yells. "Shut up! Shut up! You don't know anything about me!"

Lincoln then continues. "Taylor, calm down. I can also see that something else went down with your family. The reason why you're here, which is easily seen through the personality and attitude of yours... Taylor, did your parents have a divorce?"

And there it is, the big nail in the coffin and Taylor is shocked out of her head. Lincoln sees, that is the answer. "You moved to Royal Woods, because you're mother doesn't wanna have you around your father, and I can only guess he's a dead beat. But, you miss home, am I right?"

Taylor now has tears, and she tries to be tough again. But she can't stop her tears. "S-Shut up! Shut up, and get what you deserve or... Or something!"

Lincoln dodges her pathetically weak punch, and then he continues. "Taylor, drop the tough girl act. You may act all tough on the outside, but on the inside I know that you just wanna fit in and make some friends, but are far too scared to even let everyone know how you feel. Am I right, Taylor?"

With that, Taylor's tough girl act is gone, and she drops to her knees and ends up crying. "It's... It's all true... I just..." she continues to cry. So, Lincoln goes over, and he rubs her back to help comfort her.

Taylor then looks to Lincoln and her mascara is a mess. "H-How did you know?"

Lincoln smirks. "An old friend of mine, who lives in Great Lakes City. She started acting like a tough girl, and bully because of the day her father left the family. I have seen this kind of thing, and you don't need to be all tough and strong, and intimidating. You don't have to be like this Taylor, and I know deep down that what I say, is the right thing."

Taylor continues to shed tears. "I don't... I don't wanna be a bully anymore... I just, don't know what to do." she wipes away some tears. "I thought... I thought they were my friends... But, I was... I'm wrong."

Lincoln is about to speak, but Jordan beats him to it. "You can be friends with us, and hang out with our group." This surprises Taylor. "Sorry for coming along, but I didn't wanna see my boyfriend fight this problem alone, but now I see that he does have this covered."

Taylor then stands up, and she wipes away some tears. "I... I need to think about this."

Lincoln and Jordan nod. "Take all the time you need Taylor, we're here for you."

Taylor nods, and she walks away to clean herself up. Lincoln feels like he did the right thing. Lynn Jr sees this and she smirks. 'Looks like words can help win a fight, and experience too. A bully reformed, man the others back home are gonna be surprised for sure.'

A/N: It looks like one bully has a change of heart, and this is a good thing, but what will happen when her bullying friends find out? I hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
