I do not own Once Upon a Time.
Positive thoughts here for this couple.
So, fun fact: Sabine (before she was named) was kind of me, like I said in the first chapter, pregnancy hormones are crazy. But as the world building and character development got out of hand, she slowly become someone else. Like her interests, hobbies, education level, job, career, talents are SO NOT ME.
The message had been odd. Sabine wanted to come to the Jolly Roger and use the cabin to work on an important paper. Her PhD paper, whatever that was, she hadn't been able to finish it. She sounded stressed and anxious through her words. So Killian was going to make sure she was calm and comfortable. And well fed.
He was putting on the final touches on the table where there was a knock on the door. Killian opened it to see a hyped-up Sabine standing there.
"Hi." He said.
"Hey. All set to work, fully charged laptop, snacks, energy drinks." She spoke a mile a minute.
Killian wasn't prepared for this level of emotion. "You need to eat first, lass."
"No, no time for that." Her mind went to the gutter. "Work first."
"Food first." He turned her around to show off the table was set with a delicious meal.
"Oh. You made food?" She sounded shocked but grateful.
"I had a little help."
"I'm sure it tastes wonderful. Thank you." Sabine seemed to calm down and she leaned up to kiss his cheek.
He took her bag but almost dropped it. "What is in this bag, bricks?"
"Books, laptop snacks, energy drinks, random things."
He pulled a chair out for her. They dined on rice, fish and vegetables, the conversation was light.
"I almost couldn't read your handwriting." Killian commented.
"Yeah, should have been a doctor. Well, a medical doctor. When this paper is done, I'll be a science doctor. Your handwriting is perfect, all neat and in script."
"All thanks to the Navy. What are these energy drinks?"
"Special drinks for all-nighters. Definity pulled a few of those in college."
"Maybe I need one."
"What do you need to be up all night for?" He wiggled his eyebrows at her, and she laughed. "No, I have drilled the importance of breaks and naps into you."
"I thought I do the drilling. You finish your paper and I'll reward you."
"Promise? Better get to work then." They cleared the table and Sabine set up her laptop. She alternated between furiously typing and staring at the screen or a big book.
Killian just watched, unsure whether to stay or leave her in peace. When she had her head in her head for a while, he ventured a question. "Why are you procrastinating?"
Her head popped up, almost ready to deny his thoughts. But she knew she couldn't. "This paper is a ball and chain, holding me down. Unlocking it is both difficult and easy. I can write, I can finish it but..."
"What happens when you let go?"
"I swim up, move on, graduate but... he's not there."
Killian finally understood. "Justin."
"Justin promised he'd be there at my graduation. Me finishing this paper means no long delaying graduation and denying his absence. It means closing the chapter and officially moving on." She wiped an unexpected tear away. "This is stupid, he's yelling at me to toughen up and finish the paper."
"I'll be there for you. At the ceremony and every day after that." He reached over and squeezed her hand.
"Really?"
"Aye."
She squeezed back. "Okay, I have an hour and a half of power left, let's do this." Sabine responded to herself and began to type.
An hour and fifteen minutes later, Sabine suddenly stood up. "Done." She hit the save button. "It's finished."
"How do you feel?"
"Lighter." She let out a huge sigh of relief and it did seem like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.
"Good. Now about your reward." He tipped her chin to gently kiss her. Sabine melted into him. He walked her backwards to the bed.
"Killian, I'm not wearing anything special under this."
"You are special enough." He pulled her sweatshirt over her head and tossed it to the ground. Her pants were next, and he began to kiss every inch of skin he could get to as she removed his clothes.
March
Her message was simple: I made plans for us. And his curiosity got the best of him. Killian showed up earlier than he had intended to, Sabine would still be at work. Maybe he would use the key again. As he climbed the flight of stairs to her door, he heard someone call to him " Hey buddy, lend a hand?"
Killian looked down the hall too see a man waving at him. Something was sticking out of an open door. He went over. "What do you need help with?"
"This couch needs to get into that van. We got a new one but didn't pay extra to have it taken away."
"Told you to make it easier, Austin." said a voice inside.
"Thought the two of us could handle it. Apparently, I was wrong."
"Can I get that in writing? A woman stood inside the apartment. She saw Killian and coughed. "You're Sabine's ... friend, right?"
Friend? They were more than that but there wasn't exactly a label on it, yet. "Yes, that's me. We have plans tonight."
"I bet you do. I'm Jen, this is my brother John and my husband Austin."
"Now that introductions out of the way, can we move this couch?"
Sabine came home later and opened the door to see Killian lying on her couch. "You learned to use a key; I'm impressed." When he didn't answer right away, she asked another question. "Hard day?"
"Aye, I helped two lads move a couch. Can I comment about the payment for this good deed?"
"Beer and pizza?"
He sat up. "You are aware of this? It's unfair, there were stairs and corners."
"Yeah, that's just the way the world is. You help someone move their whole house, you get beer and pizza."
"Is that what you did when you came here?"
"No, I hired movers, paid them in money. Where was the pizza from?"
"Somewhere called Nick's."
"Eww," Sabine gagged. "they are terrible. I'll get you better pizza. Alright, I'm going to change my clothes, put some makeup on then we can go."
He noticed how dolled up she looked. "You got your hair done. Where are we going?
"I'm in a band, we have a gig at a local bar. You are meeting my friends tonight."
"Big step, meeting the friends. I like the hair." He tugged on one braid. "Hi."
She smiled and kissed him. "Hi." Then reluctantly pulled away to go to the bedroom.
"You're a musician?" He was still learning things about her, and he loved every minute of it.
"Yeah, in my free time, just with friends, nothing crazy. No one is quitting their day jobs. It's just fun."
"You play in a tavern?"
"Bar, but same concept." She did her makeup a tad heavier than usual.
"Instruments?"
"I play the guitar and sing backup vocals."
"Well, I do know you can sing." He grinned.
She shook her head. "If you keep talking like that, we won't leave this apartment."
"But that won't be the case because you are responsible and keep promises. Unless I'm bleeding."
"Right. Don't come here bleeding again." She emerged from the bedroom wearing a dark purple dress that swirled around her knees, high black boots, and a black leather jacket.
Killian whistled when he saw her. "You sure we need to go?"
"Yes." She grabbed her guitar and half dragged him to the door. They headed to her car; he followed close behind her.
"You are sitting on that side." She said when he reached for the door handle.
Killian smiled and opened the door for her. "Just being a gentleman."
"That you are." And kissed him.
She watched Killian get into the car and he minced her movements with the seat belt. Sabine drove twenty minutes to the bar. They arrived at Sonny's and Killian escorted her inside. It was small and cozy with a handful of people drinking and chatting.
"Sabine." She heard her name from behind the bar.
"Randy." She waved and went over to him, Killian followed her.
"Glad you ladies are in the lineup tonight." Randy kissed her cheek when she leaned over the bar. "The rest of the band is here already. And who is your friend?" He looked Killian up and down.
"This is Killian."
"And what's Killian drinking?"
Killian opened his mouth, but Sabine answered for him. "Jack and coke. And I'll have my usual."
"Ginger ale." Randy poured two drinks and Sabine took them both. They headed to the back of the room.
"Friend of yours?" Killian asked, taking a sip of his surprisingly bubbly drink that faintly smelled of rum.
"More like an acquaintance. Why, are you jealous?"
"A tad."
"I would be more concerned that Randy would run off with you."
"What?" It took Killian a moment to realize what Sabine meant. "Oh."
"Randy's been here for years, never charges full price for drinks, as long as we order lots of food. He's a co-owner."
"So, these band mates, the same friends from Grey's Anatomy night?"
"Yep."
How did you and these lasses meet?"
"Don't say lasses. Tess is a black belt and will have you on your back faster than you can blink."
"Apologies. How did you ladies meet?"
"Better. We all work in the same shopping center. I'm at the salon." They reached the table with the familiar faces. "I'm here, and there's some I want you to officially meet." Sabine said, everyone turned around. "This is Killian Jones." He slightly awkwardly waved at them. "Kaitlyn works at the party shop, Tess works at the clothing store, Maddy is at the home decoration shop and Amber works at the pizza place. Justin worked at the pizza place before he hit it big. I met Amber through him and the other three when we discovered our love of music and we all work in the same shopping center, Bradford Center, hence we are the Bradford Band. And rounding out the group is Peter, he is Tess's husband, they have been married for about a year now, so they are still in the newly web phase. Alex is Maddy's boyfriend, they have been together for a couple of years." She quickly went over the history of the band while her friends looked Killian over.
"So, you're the guy? Tess looked Killian over.
"I'm the guy." He answered confidently.
"Less leather this time. I really liked that outfit, must have cost you a fortune." Amber said. "I'm the one who helped Sabine with her costume."
"It was much appreciated. She looked stunning it."
"And what do you do for a living?" Maddy asked.
"Shipping, imports and exports for a big company." True, for the most part.
Another man walked over to their table, guitar hanging from his back. He gave them all a wave but was focused on Amber. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Good luck tonight, to all of you." Then he went back to the table where members of another band sat.
A surprised silence fell over the table for a moment.
"What was that?" Maddy asked.
"Are you and Nick…" Kaitlyn wasn't sure how to word her thoughts.
"Maybe, kind of. We went out for coffee twice…" Amber answered, blushing slightly.
"Aww, cute."
"Looks like it was a bit more than coffee, if you ask me." Tess said quietly.
"Really, that's it?" Sabine asked. "I get the third degree and she jus gets an 'aww cute?"
"You're special." Tess patted her hand.
"Thanks, I feel it."
"The pizza place that Amber works at is where I need to get you pizza from. Remind me for next time." Sabine said.
"Where did he have pizza from?" Amber asked.
"Nick's." Killian answered.
"Oh gross. Why?" The woman made a face, then gagged. "Who would do such a thing?"
"Jen, Killian helped her and Austin move a couch earlier today."
"Isn't Jen Italian? Shouldn't she know better?"
"One would think." Sabine shook her head.
"Has Sabine made you tandoori chicken?" Katilyn asked.
Before Killian could ask what that dish was, Sabine answered for him. "Killian can't handle spicy."
"You could not make it spicy." Tess shrugged her shoulders. "Just a thought."
"But then it's not traditional."
"You are the whitest person I know. You can't talk about traditional Indian food." Maddy commented.
"How did you learn to make traditional Indian food?" Alex asked.
"My college roommate was Indian." Sabine answered. She certainly was talking about her life a lot, Killian was learning a lot in a short amount of time. "Her aunt lived in the next town over. We visited her every weekend; we wanted real food, and she taught us how to make it because as she worded it you won't be able to feed your husbands."
"Very old fashioned, cooking is practical skill. How is Nehali doing? Haven't seen her since your second graduation party." Amber wanted to know.
"She recently called me, she's pregnant."
"Oh, wonderful for her. Alright, I have the set list, everyone good with their solos? Not that we can change it now." Tess passed a sheet of paper around the table.
Sabine gave the list the quickest of glances. "I'm good." She had picked one of her favorite songs, one she had a feeling Killian would like. Maybe, it would lead to some fun later.
"I'm going to get a refill, anyone else want something?" Katilyn offered.
A resounding no went around the table. She went to the bar and came back quickly. "Oh my god, I can't stand it when guys stare at me. Seriously, my eyes are up here."
"Stare at their pants, squint a little." Sabine suggested not so innocently.
A roar of laughter erupted from the table.
"Wow, good one. Do you have to squint?" Maddy asked cheekily.
Sabine didn't answer but Killian grinned and squeezed her thigh under the table.
"Wow, you are hot. Do you have a brother?" Tess couldn't stop staring at Killian.
"You're dropping me already?" Peter asked, faking hurt.
"Not for me, obviously, for my sister."
"Good to know."
"I did have a brother. Killian answered, suddenly feeling uncomfortable." Sabine squeezed his hand.
"Look, food is here." Amber changed the subject quickly.
Everyone ate the food that had covered the table: sliders, mozzarella sticks, loaded French fires, onion rings, nachos, wings with hot sauce on the side, springs rolls and dips. The conversation was light, Killian contributed where he could.
The first band, Mirrors, began their set. Sabine knew all the words to each song and sang along with her friends. Killian could only watch her in her element.
Sonny came over to them and whispered in Tess's ear. She tapped Maddy on the shoulder and tilted her head to the stage. Sabine saw the gestures and turned to Killian.
"We are up next. Hope you enjoy the show." She gave him a kiss that lasted slightly longer than it really should have.
"Alright, thank you to Mirrors for that electrifying set." Sonny stood on the stage. "Always good to see you guys. Next up we have a local band that has performed here before. You love and know them, give it up for Bradford Band."
There was applause as the five women stepped onto the stage with their instruments.
"Thank you, Sonny for hosting us and thank you all for coming out to see us. We have Amber on bass, Kaitlyn on drums, Maddy on guitar, Sabine on guitar. Sorry, guys she is off the market. I'm Tess, your lead vocalist. Let us entertain you tonight." And they launched into their first song.
You know I'm bad at communication, it's the hardest thing for me to do
And it's said, it's the most important part that relationships go through
And I gave it all away just so I could say that
Well, I know, I know, I know, I know that you're gonna be okay anyway
Killian had never been one to listen to music in a tavern, those were places for drinks, card or dice games and finding someone to pass the lonely night with. He couldn't even call himself a musician. But something about Sabine, her talent and the environment made him want to watch her forever. She was in tune, she kept up with the other members. She was truly a marvel.
Maddy left her position as one of the guitar players and sang alone.
I want to hold the hand inside you
I want to take the breath that's true
I look to you, and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
You live your life, you go in shadows
You'll come apart, and you'll go black
Some kind of night into your darkness
Colors your eyes with what's not there
Sabine knew exactly where Killian was sitting in the dark room. She felt his eyes on her. She looked up every so often to smile at him. Then the song changed, and she dropped her glaze.
You say I only hear what I want to
You say I talk so all the time, so
And I thought what I felt was simple
And I thought that I don't belong
And now that I am leaving
Now I know that I did something wrong
'Cause I missed you
Yeah, yeah, I missed you
She always heard him ask to stay. Even when he was in the middle of taking care of her needs. She chose to pretend not to hear, to be so lost in her own pleasure. Part of her wasn't ready for him to move in. And part of her wanted to keep him in bed forever. She knew she was going to have to make up her mind soon or he would keep asking or worse, stop asking and stop visiting. Just end the whole relationship they had going on. She felt like she was doing thing to invite him to stay but she hadn't actually said anything out loud to him. Or even quietly to herself.
Right, right, turn off the lights
We gonna lose our minds tonight
What's the dealio?
I love when it's all too much
5 AM turn the radio up
Where's the rock and roll?
Sabine began to loosen up again as she relaxed. She was having fun, she brushed the feelings of doubt away and just let herself enjoy the moment.
There she goes
There she goes again
Racing through my brain
And I just can't contain
This feeling that remains
There she blows
There she blows again
Pulsing through my veins
And I just can't contain
This feeling that remains
Killian leaned forward and watched Sabine on stage. They had known each other for a year, and he was still learning things about her, seeing different sides of her, glimpses into her life. He saw the passionate, adventurous and dare he say it, naughty side of her first. Then in her own space, saw how welcoming and brilliant she was. Her tender side, the vulnerable side and now the friendly side. She had a life here and connections. Killian felt guilty he couldn't do the same for her. All he had in his life was violence, uncertainty, heartbreak and loneliness. Maybe that was the reason he kept asking to stay. Killian wanted to be part of this world, her world. She truly was amazing, brilliant, talented, funny. She brought out a different side of him, a softer side no one ever saw. When this song, this performance ended... oh the plans he had brewing in his mind.
Killian watched Sabine step up to center stage. She hadn't told him she was doing a solo song. This certainly was a surprise. And a most welcome one. She really had an amazing voice. He felt himself being turned on. The things he wanted to do to her.
You're struttin' into town like you're slingin' a gun
Just a small town dude with a big city attitude
Honey are you lookin' for some trouble tonight
Well alright
You think you're so bad, drive the women folk wild
Shoot 'em all down with the flash of your pearly smile
Honey but you met your match tonight
Oh, that's right
Her solo ended and she didn't dare look in his direction, nothing productive or family friendly would come of it.
Give me one reason to stay here
And I'll turn right back around
Give me one reason to stay here
And I'll turn right back around
Said I don't want to leave you lonely
You got to make me change my mind
Baby I got your number
Oh and I know that you got mine
You know that I called you
I called you many times
She could feel him watching her every move. How her fingers moved on the guitar strings, how her mouth formed the lyrics, how her hips swayed to the music. Her eyes sight was almost perfect but she knew him well enough to know that his eyes weren't blue anymore. They had to be black as he watched her.
You come out at night
That's when the energy comes
And the dark side's light
And the vampires roam
You strut your rasta wear
And your suicide poem
And a cross from a faith that died
Before Jesus came
You're building a mystery
Sabine had become comfortable inviting Killian into her life, her apartment though that had been unexpected and took her a moment to allow that to happen. But now she was more than glad she had. Sabine was happy.
People living their lives for you on TV
They say they're better than you, and you agree
He says, "Hold my calls from behind those cold brick walls"
Says, "Come here boy, there ain't nothin' for free"
Another doctor's bill, a lawyer's bill
Another cute, cheap thrill
You know you love him
If you put him in your will, but
Now there was no doubt in Killian's mind or soul. Sabine saved his soul. If he hadn't found something, who knows where his life would have ended up.
Katilyn was the last band member to have a turn at a solo. She stepped away from the drums and sang her heart out.
Did you see the sky, I think it means that we've been lost?
Maybe one last time is all we need
I can't really help it if my tongue's all tied in knots
Jumping off a bridge, it's just the farthest that I've ever been
Anywhere you go, I'll follow you down
Anyplace, but those I know by heart
Anywhere you go, I'll follow you down
I'll follow you down, but not that far
The music came to an end and the applause filled the room. Killian pushed his way to the stage to grab Sabine's hand after the band took a bow.
Her smile lit up her face and she was slightly sweaty from the lights, but her whole mood was about to change dramatically.
Killian pulled her close to whisper in her ear. "I knew you have talented fingers, but I never knew how good you were with them." He did something sinful with his tongue.
Sabine had spent most of her performance under his growing lustful gaze. Now she could act upon her building desire. "Do you have talented fingers also?" She asked him.
"Yes." Killian answered.
"Prove it." That was clearly a challenge. She tilted her head to the back of the building and pulled him behind her. They entered a small room labeled 'employee bathroom'. Sabine locked the door and stared at him for a moment before Killian picked her up and placed her gently on the sink counter. She hissed for the brief moment his cock pressed on her core.
"Did I do that to you?" she asked as he stroked her cheek.
"All you. Did I have any effect on you while you were up there?"
"Yes, you kept staring at me like you wanted to rip my clothes off."
"Couldn't help myself, you are stunning." His hand drifted down her neck, the front of her dress and to the hem to get up it.
"Whatever you are planning to do, you need to be quick." Sabine whispered. Honestly, she wasn't going to need much.
"What if I want to take my time with you?" His finger brushed the inside of her leg.
"This is not the ideal location or time for that." One of them had to be practical.
"Fine, I'll be quick." Killian muttered against her neck. His fingers found a slit in her underwear to welcome him. "Well, someone planned ahead."
"You mean someone was hopeful?"
He worked his magic on her folds and bundle of nerves drawing sighs and moans from her. He bent one of her legs up on the counter to widen his access to her core.
Sabine felt amazing and dirty at the same time, the location played a large role in her feelings. She focused on her rising desire and what his fingers were doing to her. Her fingers laced together behind his head, unsure where she wanted his face.
His blue almost black eyes watched her and enjoyed the change in her expression when a long finger entered her. It pumped in and out of her at a steady pace.
Her release washed over her, and he captured her mouth to swallow her scream. Killian eased her down, slowing his fingers before pulling them out. He gently cleaned the both of them off.
Sabine had a look on her face that he almost couldn't read. He was ready for more and was heading to unlock the door so they could go back to her place to use her bed or really any surface. But she stopped him and shoved him against the wall. Before he was able to ask any questions, she had undone his pants and pushed them down.
"Returning the favor?" He darkly chuckled.
She didn't answer him and quickly closed her lips around his hard cock. Sabine licked, sucked, and swirled her tongue around him, knowing he wasn't going to need much help after watching her fall apart.
He came quickly in her mouth, and she sucked him dry. Finally, she leaned back to look up at him. "Ready to go home?"
He helped her to her feet. His heart skipped a beat at the sound of that last word. All he could do was nod.
Sabine unlocked the door and saw no one standing there. She avoided taking his hand, she didn't want to touch him at the moment. They would never make it to her place.
She found her friends quickly. "We are going home. This was fun, as always." She grabbed her guitar.
"So soon? Maddy asked but saw Sabine's messed up make-up and the flush on Killian's face. "Oh, go. Enjoy your night." She turned to Killian. "It was nice to meet you, Killian. Hope to see you often."
He nodded and waved then followed Sabine out the door and to her car.
They finally made it to her front door, and it barely closed behind them when the sloppy kisses began. Hands were everywhere, trying to pull clothing off to expose skin to each other. Killian was the first to lose his clothes, they were in a pile at her feet. She had to bend to unzip her boots and he apperceived the view. Sabine slipped her jacket and dress off.
"Put the jacket back on." He whispered.
"I'm guessing you like it?" She pulled it back on, keeping her lace covered bra exposed to him.
Hands roamed over bodies as feet clumsily danced around the apartment, knocking into walls, furniture until finally making it to her bedroom. But the bed remained untouched. Killian pressed Sabine into the wall, leaving kisses where he could reach. Her hands ran over the hard planes of his back, and she ran her fingers through his hair. All the while his cock pressed into her lace covered mound.
Sabine turned herself around to grind her ass into his cock so she could draw his hand to play with her breast. He only pushed the lace down to pinch and roll the nipple between his fingers. She moaned loudly. "Do more."
"Ask me to stay." He whispered in her ear.
She shook her head. "Touch me."
"Together." He took her hand to one breast while he worked the other. Sabine matched his speed and roughness.
All the while she rocked her hips across him. A guttural moan escaped him. "I need you to be inside of me, now." He hissed. He spun her to face him, her legs wrapped around him, and they finally made it to the bed. Sabine's underwear was shoved down her legs and her hand undid the front hook of her bra, exposing her nipples to him. But the leather jacket stayed on. She shivered in anticipation as his cock teased her entrance. She then drew him close for a kiss, fully giving him permission to slide inside of her.
Which he did instantly, filling her up.
She rocked her hips as he pumped in and out of her. Her back arched in pleasure. This was what she had wanted since she started playing and felt his eyes on her.
Guttural noises came from Killian, ones that she swallowed with a rough kiss.
Her release was building, he felt it, but this was not the position he wanted her in. His hand wanted to touch more and his eyes to see more.
Killian pulled out completely and coaxed her to sit on him. A moment later she impaled herself on his cock, moving her hips in a slow rhythm to rebuild the fire inside of her.
His hand took hers and encouraged her to finger her folds and his cock in tandem. This his hand left hers to fondle her nipple, altering between gentle and rough.
They both crashed, the moment filled with moans, sighs, and screams. Every fiber of her body stilled before she collapsed next to him in a heap.
"Wow, that was..." She struggled to find words.
"Mind blowing." Killian helped her. "How often do you perform?"
"Once every few months. But I'll give you a private show if this is the outcome."
"It will always be this outcome. I promise." His hand touched her side.
"You want to take a shower?"
His eyebrows rose. "You can handle another round or are you being sensible?"
"Sensible. We did have sex in a public bathroom. And we are sticky."
"Can't argue there. Just give me moment."
"Someone's spent." She giggled, strength slowly coming back to her.
"You were amazing on stage; I couldn't help myself." Killian complimented her.
She smiled and pulled herself off the bed and headed to the bathroom. She turned the water on, waiting for it to warm up.
She heard a motion behind her and turned see Killian standing there holding two towels. "Get in and start, I need to take my hair out and take my makeup off."
Killian did so without a word. It took a few minutes to unclip, unbraid and undo her hair, shake her hair free and remove all the makeup. Then she joined Killian in the steamy shower. She caught sight of his wet chest and tried to hide her gasp. Would she ever tire of him? So, instead she focused on washing her hair thoroughly and covering her body with soap.
His hand accidentally on purpose brushed her shoulder on its way to the soap. They locked eyes, but focused on their own tasks.
Sabine stepped under the shower head and let the water run down her body while he watched. He then joined her, pushing her back. And into the wall behind her, his chest pressed into hers.
Sabine looked up at him and knew what they were going to do. Again.
The next morning found them laying in bed. Sabine felt she had to bring up a topic that was touched upon the following night.
"I want to ask you something. If you don't want to talk about it, it's fine. I get it but you said you had a brother.
Killian sighed. "An older brother. Liam was my only family after my mother died and my father left us. We joined the navy together. He died on a mission; our king betrayed us and that's why I turned to piracy." He hadn't spoken about Liam to anyone, the crew knew better.
"I'm so sorry." She hugged him. She wanted to give him a home.
April
Sabine sat on her couch, learning a new song for an upcoming gig. She noticed the bottle on her shelf suddenly had a note in it. She got up to read it.
Free this week?
Sabine paused and had to think. No, next weekend would not be good. Sorry, I'm not free next weekend. I have the kids.
Killian usually answered back quickly. But this time, there was a long pause. Finally. The kids?
My niece and nephew are staying with me.
The following weekend then?
Yes.
See you then, have fun with the kids.
Sabine woke up in the middle of the night when the front door opened and closed very quietly. This was a late visit; she wasn't wearing anything special. Oh well, not that anything stayed on her for long.
She heard the bedroom door open and close, and clothes hit the floor
The blanket lifted and the mattress shifted under the new weight.
"Look who finally showed up. I'm glad." She touched his chest and leaned in to kiss him.
Killian grabbed her body and pulled her close, setting his face in her neck.
"Do you just want to sleep?"
No response beyond his calm breathing. She took that as a yes. "Ok, I'll see you in the morning." Sabine shifted in his embrace, pushing her back into his chest.
And she whispered one word to the sleeping man. "Stay."
Sabine didn't see the smile blooming on Killian's face.
The next morning, Sabine woke up slowly to Killian touching her cheek.
"Morning, love."
"It's always a good morning when you are here."
"Thank you."
"For what?" She asked, confused.
"Finally asking me to stay."
Sabine's eyes widened. "Oh, you heard that?"
"Yes. Were you sincerely asking?" He tried not to let hope into his voice.
She nodded.
"Ask me again, while I'm awake."
Sabine sat up to look at him. "Killian Jones, move in? Stay? Stay with me?"
A smile grew on his face, and he sat up to answer. "Yes, of course. I would be honored." He drew her close for a kiss. "Give me a few weeks to put my affairs in order. Then we have all the time in the world."
"Time for what? Tell me." She knew but wanted to hear him say it.
His hand stroked her side and then roamed to her breast. "We can do this and more every night and every morning."
"That sounds exhausting. Almost every night. But you can kiss me senseless every day." she said, relaxing into his touch.
"That I can promise you. But right now, I'm going to make love to you."
"I like the sound of that."
Killian weaved his fingers through her hair to keep her close. Their lips met and alternated between long drawn-out kisses and quick pecks. Sabine's arms wrapped around his back, neither of them wanted any space between them.
But there was still fabric between their slowly warming bodies. They didn't seem to notice; they just couldn't stop kissing.
Then Sabine moved slightly up and tilted her head back to give Killian better access to her neck. He eagerly peppered her skin with kisses, intending to leave marks.
His hand cupped her breast through her shirt. His finger then rubbed the flesh, making her hum in approval. She let her nails softly run up and down his back. His tongue explored her mouth as his hand began to touch her breast more but remained gentle.
Her eyes closed, taking in all the sensations. She wanted more, but she wanted a slow build and that was the route he was taking.
Killian's hand drifted down; his fingers traced a path to the waistband of her shorts.
"You can take those off me." She whispered into his mouth. "And everything else."
"I'm fine just playing right now. Don't worry, it will be on the floor soon enough." He promised.
Her breath hitched; he always knew the right words to say. That was something she loved about him.
Yes, she finally admitted to herself that she loved him. Loved the way he understood her, accepted her, touched her, made her feel with his voice. And she finally gave into her feelings finally and asked him to move in. Happiness filled her soul.
"Lass, you are a million miles away." Killian's hand touched her cheek.
Her eyes focused on his. "No, I'm right here, with you."
"Promise?"
"I promise with all my heart."
The look of pure love in her eyes made him complete. And Killian Jones needed to show her that. So, he intended to do things to her body that he knew she would love.
"Shirt off, take everything off, love." His voice was barely above a whisper.
A shiver went through her as she pulled her shirt, shorts, and underwear off under his dark eyes.
He nibbled her breast before using his tongue to swirl and do other sinful things to them one at a time.
He kept her fingers laced through his and let her other hand up and down his back. His knee nudged her legs apart and she spread, welcoming something to slowly grind herself on.
His mouth was in full attack mode on her breasts, and she quickly became a shivering mess under him.
He slowly moved down her body, his hand leaving hers and he kissed a path down her stomach. She lost something to press her heat and almost spasmed when his chin was dangerously close to her mound. She just needed him to...
"Killian, make love to me, please."
Instantly they were face to face and he slid into her dipping core. There were slow calculations thrusts into her. Her moans were music to his ears.
Then he hit her in just the right spot and her world exploded. Her body went rigid for a moment, just enjoying the multiple of sensations. He throbbed inside of her, needing his own release.
"On your back, sailor." She whispered, not having much voice.
He rolled over, never sliding out of her, despite the fact she was dripping.
Sabine rocked her hips a hair slower than Killian needed, but his eyes were rewarded when she began to fondle her breasts.
Killian's breath caught in his throat at the sight. This woman was going to be the death of him. But he would die a happy man.
"This is what almost night will look like, Killian." Sabine said, licking her lips.
That was enough to send it over the edge. He spasmed into her used core, she milked him dry. A tiny fire was lit inside of her, one she was determined to put out herself, while he watched. Because they both liked a show.
Sabine pulled herself off of him and lay down next to him. "Hey, look at me." She softly asked him. His stunning blue eyes met hers. "You good?" All he could do was nod. "Well, I'm not." Her hand drifted down her stomach.
Killian breathed heavily. "How are you not stated?"
"A few reasons, mostly that you are sex on legs, you are very talented and can get a fire building in me very easily."
"Are you blaming me?" he asked, watching her fingers coat themselves in her already visual arousal.
"Yes." She answered him then voiced her reaction to her fingers' motion. "Yes, yes, yes." She rolled and rubbed her bundle of nerves between her fingers. Sabine worked herself to the top of the mountain, while trying to keep her eyes open and focused on Killian.
"Ah, ah" she screamed, her world ready to be shattered.
Suddenly Killian was on top of her, quickly replacing her fingers with his mouth, spreading her wide.
Everything inch of her was on fire as he sucked her and left her breathless. Her back arched when his tongue entered her, and Killian eased her down from her high.
They were both breathing heavily.
"Well, that got out of hand." Sabine finally spoke.
"Slightly. Tell me you are stated now." Killian sounded desperate for a break, from touching her and being touched by her.
"Yes, for tonight."
He gave a small chuckle. "Tomorrow is another day."
Ok, so again a lot happened here. Her Ph.D. paper is done. Not planning on writing her graduation ceremony, but just know that it happens. Killian met the band and it lead to some very fun times for them.
AND SHE FINALLY ASKED HIM TO MOVE IN!
