Chapter 72 – The Paths of Destiny

"I can't see a blasted thing!" Dr. Crowler spoke as he, Jaden, and Seinna walked through the darkness of the cavern, "If you fell from above, there should be a pillar of light, right?"

"Well, it was still in a cave, it was barely visible when we were running through it then," Jaden said as he looked up, unable to see anything in the blackness.

"Once our eyes adjust, we should be able to see a pathway out of here." Sienna said before noticing Jaden focusing on something, "What do you see?"

"It's a…red light?" Jaden commented as he saw a red orb hugging the upper wall of the cavern.

"What light, I don't see anything?" Dr. Crowler commented.

As Jaden focused, she noticed the shape of the heiress Obelisk Blue, "Weiss?"

"Huh," Weiss said before looking at the sound of her name being called, "Jaden!"

"Weiss, it is you!" He called out, then looked to Ruby Carbuncle, who floated down and near his position, "And you, you're one of Jesse's cards."

"Hey, Jaden!" Jesse called out as well, "I'm here too!"

"Jesse!" Jaden called out with a smile on his face as his two friends made it to ground level, "It's great to see both of you."

"Why are you here, what happened?" Weiss asked.

"I was dragged down this pit by Adam. He trapped all three of us here." Jaden responded pointing to the professors, "We I beat him in a duel, but the rest of us are still stuck."

"I see," Weiss said as she looked back at the wall she scaled down, "Climbing up isn't an option, I barely had enough strength to get down." She said before looking around, "There has to be another pathway out of here."

"In that case," Jesse said as he held up his duel disk, "Let there be light!" he said as the other seven crystal beast duel spirits emerged from his deck. Each created a light from the rainbow, showing the whole carven in all details to them.

The trio looked around before Weiss pointed, "There, that corridor might be our way out." She said towards a tiny pathway next to a large rock.

"Right," Jaden said as Jesse nodded. He then turned to Dr. Crowler and Seinna, "Stay close to us, we think we found the way out of here." The spirited Slifer Red said as they started walking down the small corridor.

Dr. Crowler turned to where he thought Sienna was, "How can they see each other?"

"Just roll with it for once," Sienna said in a tired voice, causing Dr. Crowler to sigh before they followed them.

After a short while of travel, the heiress Obelisk Blue turned back to the others, "I felt a breeze, I think we're close!" she said before rushing down the pathway, followed by others. Soon after, they saw a light at the end of the tunnel, exiting to the outside, "We made it!" Weiss said with a smile. However, that smile faded as she looked up.

Jaden was the second one out, realizing the same thing, "The sky is pitch black." He said as dark clouds crackled with thunder, circling like a storm.

"I don't think the weatherman called for this," Jesse said as he exited, followed by the professors.

The five were in awe of the sight before hearing a slight bark, "Arf!" They turned to see Zwei running towards them.

"Gah!" Dr. Crowler said in a panic, hiding behind Sienna, "What is that filthy mutt doing on this island!" he said as Sienna remained stoic with half-open eyes.

"Zwei, why are you here!?" Weiss said as she knelt, then had a look of panic as the corgi's eyes were full of worry, "If you're here, the others are in danger." She said before getting, "I'm going back to save them." The heiress Obelisk Blue turned to Jaden, "Go warn Chazz, Alexis, or anyone you can find to figure out and stop whatever is causing that storm."

"Right," Jaden spoke, "But Weiss, if you go alone."

"Come on, I've been with her this long." Jesse spoke as he walked, winking at Weiss, "Unless the Snow Angel is sick of my company." He said with her smiling at him.

"Then Jaden and I will look into this storm and regroup with the others." Sienna spoke before turning to Dr. Crowler, "You go with the students of your grade level and do your job protecting them."

"I-I agree," Dr. Crowler spoke, then looked at the corgi, "But does it have to be with that creature."

"Zwei is the only one who can lead us back to the others," Weiss answered.

"Come on, are you saying out of everything so far today," Jaden commented, "This little guy has you shivering?"

"Tsk, fine, I will join you." Dr. Crowler said as he walked up, "But when this is all over, I will file a report to get this beast off the island!"

"Arf!" Zwei barked, causing Dr. Crowler to flinch.

"Then it's settled." Weiss spoke up, "Let's move. She said before the group split up in opposite directions.

Meanwhile.

Back in the dormant volcano, Pyrrha faced off against Cinder.

Pyrrha: 4000 Life Points

Cinder: 2600 Life Points

On Cinder's field, she had three monsters. In defense mode, she had her Darklord Ixchel, (2500 ATK / 2900 DEF) and Darklord Amdusc, (1800 ATK / 2800 DEF). While in attack mode, her fusion monster ace, Lucifer, Darklord of the Morning Star, stood in a defiant stance, (4000 ATK / 4000 DEF). No cards set and only one in her hand, the Fallen Shadow Rider ended her turn.

"I won't let you win." Pyrrha said as she clenched her fist, "I'll do whatever it take to make sure you lose, I draw!" she said as she saw the card, then played it instantly, "I play Pot of Avarice, returning five monsters to my deck to draw two cards." She said before taking her magnet warriors and playing them in her deck. However, Cinder focused his gaze as she took all but Epsilon from the grave, instead taking another monster that was milled before as the fifth card. In drawing two, she is putting them in her hand of four cards in total, "I summon Doki Doki in defense mode." The magnetic pro duelist said before the red vase was seen on the field that began to glow, (500 ATK / 500 DEF). "With this card, I can discard a rock monster to summon one from my deck with the same attribute and level. So, I discard Beta for Alpha the Electromagnet Warrior." she said as the teal magnetic creature was seen, (1700 ATK / 1100 DEF). "And with this one summoned, I can add a Magna Warrior to my hand." She said as the card ejected, allowing her to hold it up with a yellowish aura, "I banish my Alpha on the field, my Beta that was discarded, and my Gamma that was milled. With these three Electromagnet warriors, I summon Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior!" Pyrrha declared as all three monsters appeared a brock apart, creating the massive warrior with the copper coiled beat stick, (3000 ATK / 2800 DEF).

"You can combine as many of your weak monsters," Cinder commented, "They will still be pathetic."

"I don't think so, because my Berserkion can banish Epsilon in my graveyard to destroy your Lucifer." Pyrrha said her monster tried to unleash a wave of energy, but it faded as nothing happened, "What?"

"Lucifer's effect makes it so you cannot target my fairy monsters." Cinder commented, "Are you done yet?"

"Hardly," Pyrrha said as she took a card from her grave, "I remove my trap card, Magnet Conversion. Now, I can special summon a banished Magnet Warrior Monster. And I pick Epsilon!" She said as a lavender magnetic creature reappeared in a defensive stance, (1300 ATK / 1500 DEF). "And when summoned, I can send Beta from my deck to the grave."

"Wait, you sent back ever magnet warrior to your deck?" Cinder responded, "There isn't another one in grave now."

"No, but I can use it for a Magna warrior as well." The magnetic pro duelist said as a card ejected from her duel disk again, "I summon back Valkyrion!" she said as the combined magnet creature reappeared standing next to the combined electromagnet creature, (3500 ATK / 3850 DEF).

"Unreal." Sora commented in awe, "She has both of her aces on the field at the same time."

"I'll attack your Ixchel with Berserkion!" Pyrrha declared, "Go, Polarity Pulverize!" She said as Berserkion rushed in with its weapon raised. It crashed into the hanged fallen angel, causing her to explode, "And Valkyrion will take down your Amdusc with Gravity slash." She said as Valkyrion slashed the dark unicorn in half before it exploded, "I set one card and end my turn."

"She's putting up a fight, I'll give her that." Yuri responded, "Maybe I'll duel her when this is all done."

"You say that as if I'll lose?" Cinder responded with a scowl, "But that will not happen, because I use Lucifer's other effect. For 1000 Life points, I can special summon a Darklord from my grave in defense mode. And I'll pick my Darklord Superbia." She said black armored bird-like fallen angel with red wings appear, (2900 ATK / 2400 DEF).

Cinder: 2600 – 1000 = 1600 Life Points

"And when this one is summoned from the grave, I can summon out another Darklord from there as well. Come back to me, Darklord Amdusc." The fallen Shadow Rider said as the purple uniform returned to the field, (1800 ATK / 2800 DEF). "By using the effect of Amdusc, I can pay 1000 life points to use a trap Darklord trap card." She said as a familiar trap was seen, "My Darklord Divinity, so your Berserkion's effect is negated, and I gain more life points." The Fallen Shadow Rider said as the trap went back into her deck, while Berserkion was inflicted with a weakening white aura.

Cinder: 1600 – 1000 + 3000 = 3600 Life Points

"I tribute summon by offering Superbia and Amdusc." She said as both monsters merged into an orb with expanded with a sky blue and black aura, "Behold, Darklord Asmodeus!" she said as the orb expanded to extend the purple wings of a fallen angel with black armor over a white robe, (3000 ATK / 2500 DEF). "Before battle, I'll use Asmodeus other effect to send a fairy monster from my deck to the grave." She said Yuri saw mill her Darklord Zerato, "Now go, attack her Berserkion with Cold Blue Haze!" The Fallen Shadow Rider as both monsters rushed towards each other, her with a hand glowing in a bluish aura and Pyrrha's with the bat ready to swing. The attacks collided with both monster's destroyed in a smoke cloud. "And while yours cannot use its effect to summon the piece back, mine can. For when Asmodeus is destroyed, I can summon two tokens to the field, Asmo and Deus." The smoke cleared to reveal a blue clocked fallen angel, (1800 ATK / 1300 DEF). and a red clocked fallen angel, (1200 ATK / 1200 DEF). "Asmo is immune to card destruction, while Dues cannot be broken in battle. These two can take out your weaker monster!" Cinder said as the token fallen angels rushed in. Asmo slashes Epsilon while Deus shatters Doki Doki. "And now, Lucifer attacks your Valkyrion!" Cinder declared as her monster rushed in. However, a wall of clay erupted from the ground, blocking the First Darklord from advancing. Cinder gasped as suddenly a castle formed around Valkyrion, (1000 ATK / 1000 DEF). "What is that thing!?"

"I activated my face down, Metamorphortres!" Pyrrha said with a focused gaze, "It absorbs one of my Valkyrion and summons itself in its place in defense mode as a trap monster." She said before pointing, "And while it has 1000 attack and defense points, those stats are raised by the attack of the absorbed monster." She said as Valkyrion melded into the walls of the castle, (1000 + 3500 = 4500 ATK / 1000 + 3500 = 4500 DEF).

"No way," Cinder said in dread as Lucifer's attack was called off. She then looked at the card in her hand, knowing it could not help her, "I set one card face down."

"Oh, it looks like you misplayed there." Yuri commented as Cinder had to end her turn, "So this looks like it will hurt."

"It's my turn," Pyrrha said as drew, then took it and the only other card in her hand, "I set a monster and another card face down. Then switch my Metamorphortres into attack mode." She said the castle began to change shape into a massive titan with a singular glowing spot in its cattle head, acting as its eye.

"How," Cinder said as a line of sweat went down her face, "How could I let her do this?"

"Alright Metamorphortres," Pyrrha said as she clenched her left hand, "Attack her Dues Token with Stone Fist of Unsealed Fury!" With a glint in her eyes that matched her monster, the clay titan reeled back its right arm before swinging the knuckles and grinding against the wall of the volcano before smashing into Dues and knocking it aside.

However, the fist was not done as it slammed into Cinder's body, hitting her like a train as her body was flung back. The Fallen Shadow Rider's body spun as cards from her graveyard shattered over the ground. She collided with the ground with a skid before hitting the wall, "Gah!" she gasped for air as her body was recoiling from the impact.

Cinder: 3600 – 3300 = 300 Life Points

"After Metamorphortres attacks it switches back to defense mode," Pyrrha spoke as her clay titan transformed back into a castle wall, "I end my turn."

"Looks like you're in trouble now," Yuri commented as Cinder pushed herself up, "And you can't even pay for your monster's effect anymore, so you can't get back that monster you milled."

"It doesn't matter, I'll win this duel." Cinder said as she drew, "I play my own Pot of Greed." She said before drawing two cards, smiling at the results, "And I summon Darklord Nurse Reficule in defense mode." Appearing on Cinder's field was a kneeling mummified fallen angel with purple hair, (1400 ATK / 600 DEF).

"Wait, that monster. I heard of it before." Pyrrha commented.

"Oh, that Darklord is a bit different than the others," Yuri added.

"Nurse Reficule has a simple effect," Cinder responded, "Any card that would heal your life points will burn you instead." She said before playing the other card in her hand, "Like with this card Soul Taker, you would gain 1000 life points from me sending your monster to the grave, but now you only lose more."

"Oh no!" Pyrrha responded as her castle began to crumble behind her with the debris falling onto her. She tried to dodge but was hit a few times before her strongest card was no more.

Pyrrha: 4000 – 1000 = 3000 Life Points

"And now, the Asmo Token attacks your set monster card!" Cinder said as her monster gathered a blue orb of energy.

"I don't think so, I reveal Zero Gravity." Pyrrha responded, "This switches the battle position of all face-up monsters on the field."

"I see, while your Darklord monsters cannot be targeted." Yuri said to Cinder, "They are not immune to other card effects."

"Yuri, your tone is starting to annoy me," she said as Asmo, Deus and Lucifer knelt, but Reficule stood up, "I can still hit your set card with my Reficule." She said Darklord Nurse rushed in to slash the set card, which revealed to be a familiar rock monster to her, "Morphing Jar." She said as the vase with an eye and teeth in the darkness was seen, (700 ATK / 600 DEF). "Now, we both get five new cards." The Fallen Shadow Rider said as neither player had another to discard before drawing. Looking at her hand, she took two cards from it, "I'll set these and end my turn."

"Then I draw!" she said before seeing the card, gasping at it, and placing it in her hand. In taking another card, she played it, "I activate Magnet Reverse, allowing me to bring back my Valkyrion the Magna Warrior in attack mode." She said as her combined magnetic creature was seen again, breaking through the rubble, (3500 ATK / 3850 DEF). "I'm not done yet; I play Monster Reincarnation to discard a card to add Berserkion back to my hand." The magnetic pro duelist said before taking that card and another one out of her hand, "Next, I play Polymerization, fusing both my Magna Warriors," she said as Valkyrion and Berserkion were seen from above and breaking apart, "I summon Magnum the Superconductive Battlebot!" The Magna warriors were rebuilt into one. A centurion warrior with wings emerged with a shockwave over the arena, hitting the ground with a pulse from each hoof, (4000 ATK / 4000 DEF).

"Looks like we both have our ace monster on the field with the same stats," Cinder responded.

"But I don't need to take down yours," Pyrrha said before pointing, "I attack your Nurse Reficule. Go, Voltaic Charge of Galvanization!" she said as her monster rushed towards the nurse Darklord.

However, Lucifer moved into the path of the attack, "I reveal my face down, Staunch Defender." Cinder responded, "Now you must attack my Lucifer."

"Expect I can use Magnum special ability," Pyrrha said as her Battlebot revealed a railgun mounted on its back, "Once per turn, I can negate any card you activate." She said as the railgun was about to fire, but began to spark, "What's going on?"

"My other facedown card activated," Cinder responded as a card flipped up, "Forbidden Droplet. For its effect, I send this useless spell set card to the grave." She said as her facedown Soul Exchange faded away, "Now, I can negate the effect of your monster and halve its attack point. And don't think a quickplay can save you, since I used a spell card to the gave for Droplet." The Fallen Shadow Rider said as a black void appeared under Magnum, causing small shadow people to climb on the Battlebot. (4000 / 2 = 2000 ATK) With its effect negated, Lucifer now intercepted the attack towards Reficule. Magnum attempted to slash with its blade, but the first Darklord blocked with his shield and bashed it against the Battlebot's chest. A dark energy shockwave from the bash pushed Pyrrha back as well, her body slamming into the wall with the back of her head hitting a jagged rock with a cracking sound.

Pyrrha: 3000 – 2000 = 1000 Life Points

"PYRRHA!" Sora called out as the magnetic pro duelist slid down the wall motionless.

"It seems like that's all it took." Cinder said as she was ready to walk away but saw Pyrrha start to move again, "Tsk." The Fallen Shadow Rider scowled.

"No," Pyrrha said while using the wall to help her get it. "I can't give up." As she tilted her head forward, her headdress fell off with cracks from the impact, and her ponytail became undone, "I have to keep going!" with blood dripping past her bangs, the magnetic pro duelist glared at Cinder. "It's now the second main phase." She said as she looked at her hand, taking both cards out of it, "I set these and end my turn." In doing so, the shadows around Magnum faded, (2000 X 2 = 4000 ATK).

"It's not a matter of if you want to give up." Cinder said as she drew, "It's just a fact that you will lose to me no matter how hard you try."

Pyrrha gritted her teeth, but then let out a breath before speaking, "Do you believe in destiny?"

"…Yes, I do." Cinder said before playing a card she drew, "I switch all my monster into attack mode. Then, I activate Magical Stone Excavation, for two discards, I can add Soul Taker back to my hand." She said before the spell was blasted by the railgun, "What?"

"Magnum's effect can activate during either player's turn." Pyrrha responded, but Cinder laughed, "What's so funny?"

"I still have one card in my hand." Cinder said before playing the card, "I summon Condemned Witch in defense mode." She as a black-robed maiden with her hood up was seen, hiding her pale skin and hair, (100 ATK / 2000 DEF). "When she is summoned, I can add any Forbidden spell from my deck to my hand. But due to the milling I did before, there is only one left I can add." She said as a card ejected, "I'll pick Forbidden Chalice, which I will use on Lucifer to make him stronger than your Magnum." She said as the first Darklord gained a white aura, (4000 + 400 = 4400 ATK). "Go, destroy her last hope once and for all!" The Fallen Shadow Rider declared as Lucifer switched into attack mode and dashed in. Magnum attempted to fight back with a sword stirk, but the blade was parried by the First Darklord. He then stabbed his blade into the Battlebot's chest, causing it to explode.

Pyrrha: 1000 – 400 = 600 Life Points

"And now, Reficule can finish you off." Cinder ordered as her monster was about to attack, but then lowered its arms, "What are you doing, I said to attack her directly!" She commanded, but the Nurse Darklord glared back before moving to Pyrrha's side of the field, "What's going on?"

"I have a quickplay spell of my own." Pyrrha spoke, gaining Cinder's attention, "Rebellion, this lets me target and take control of your monster this battle phase."

"But my-" Cinder spoke, but Yuri cut her off.

"Your Forbidden Chalice has a price for the power, in your monster losing its effect." Yuri spoke, "So now, she was free to target your monsters."

"Damnit," Cinder scoffed but then smirked, "It doesn't matter, my two tokens will finish you off this turn." She said as Asmo and Dues readied to rush in.

"There won't be another attack." Pyrrha responded, "This duel ends right now."

"How so?" Cinder doubted.

"Oh, you don't see it." Yuri said with a smirk, Cinder glaring at him, "Think Teacher, why would she take that monster out of all the ones on your field." He said as the Fallen Shadow Rider had the realization, turning back to the duel.

"I reveal my trap card," Pyrrha said before pointing at her last card "The Paths of Destiny!" she said as two coins manifested between them, flipping into the air with a light side and a dark side, "Based on our results, the player either gains 2000 life points, or loses 2000 life points."

"But if Reficule is on your side of the field," Cinder said as her face filled with. At that moment, the coins landed. Pyrrha saw hers was on the dark side, while Cinder's landed on the light side. However, a line of sweat went down her forehead as looked at her monster on the magnetic Pro Duelist side of the field with a black aura, changing the light coin side to dark. "This can't be."

"It is," Pyrrha said before pointing, "No matter what you think your destiny has to be, I'm here to break it!" she said as her trap card radiated a powerful aura, resulting in a powerful shockwave that hit both duelists and sent them flying back, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" They screamed as the monsters faded at the duel's end.

Pyrrha: 600 – 2000 = 0 Life Points

Cinder: 300 – 2000 = 0 Life Points

"No, I'm not supposed to lose here," Cinder said as she struggled to get up.

Pyrrha tried to stand as well but could only get halfway. Suddenly, the area began to shake with a tremor, "What's going on now?" she said before seeing Sora hobble over.

"I don't know, but it doesn't seem like a good idea to be in a volcano when it's shaking!" Sora spoke as he tried to help Pyrrha up, "Come on, let's get out of here." He said as they started to move but turned to witness Cinder approaching them.

"No, you will not escape here." Cinder spoke, "I won, I'm supposed to win, It's my destiny!" She said before lunging forward, the metallic arm extended, "No matter what it takes, I will-!"

Suddenly, a person rushed from the volcano entrance. She passed by Sora and Pyrrha before stopping Cinder's assault in her place. The Fallen Shadow Rider looked at the person, but her face went pale at the individual, "Glynda!?" Cinder spoke as the headteacher of Ra Yellow smirked, "But I saw you get-"

"A magician never reveals their secrets." Glynda answered before scowling, "You won't lay a hand on them." She said before realizing she grabbed a familiar metallic arm, "Especially with one of my student's arms." The headteacher of Ra Yellow then lifted the metallic arm before kicking Cinder's in the stomach. The force of the impact ripped the arm from Cinder's body as she was sent flying back into the ground. Glynda adjusted her glasses before turning to Pyrrha and Sora, "We need to leave, now." She said before helping the magnetic pro duelist to her feet and then making their way to the exit.

"Get back here!" Cinder said as she tried to push herself up, "I'm not finished with you yet, I'll-" she was saying until realizing the ground beneath her was heating up. Suddenly, an eruption of molten rock engulfed most of Cinder's body, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" She screamed as her body was flung aside, her flesh boiling and bones melting. The already damaged left side of her face was now scorched with lava, which started to pour onto her right side. "AAAAAAAAAAA!" she crawled as her legs were almost reduced to mush, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!... SALEM, I NEED YOUR POWER! HELP ME, LIKE YOU DID BEFORE!" The Fallen Shadow Rider cried out, but no one came. Until he stood before her, "YURI, PLEASE!" she said as she extended her arm. As her hand was about to fall, he grabbed it. In doing so, a smile formed on his face. But suddenly, the smile grew more sinister as a violet light encompassed them.

At the volcano cave's exit, Glynda, Pyrrha, and Sora escaped just as the wall caved in, "We made it out." Sora said with a breath of relief, but soon had a look of worry return to his expression again, "But Neo, where did that creepy woman take her?"

"And Aster." Pyrrha added on, "That she took him someplace, I have to save-" she said before trying to stand but recoiled from the pain.

"You shouldn't push yourself. Especially after that duel." Glynda responded, "Right now, I'm going to take you two back to the academy to see the infirmary."

"No, we can't do that now when so many people are in danger," Pyrrha answered.

"She's right, and after watching that duel, I'm not the biggest fan of nurses at the moment." Sora said with the two glaring at him, "What?"

"Wait a minute." Glynda said before looking at the mechanical arm, seeing the Darklord cards on it, "I think there is a way to get to wherever he was taken."

"How?" Pyrrha asked.

"I'm not fully sure, but to do that," Glynda said before looking to the others, "We need to find Bastion." She said as the others had a look of confusion.

Meanwhile.

"Boy, that was a close one." Yuri said as he patted the soot off his clothes while walking through the woods, "I must say, I think you have lost your touch." He spoke with a smirk, "I mean, so many times you could have won if you played a bit smarter. I guess you were trying to impress someone who you thought was watching, but even I knew they weren't." he said before looking at a card in his left hand, "Isn't that right, Teacher." The sadistic Obelisk Blue said as he looked at the card depicting the Fallen Shadow Rider, her body partially covered in Lava, "You mentioned how the people stuck in these cards feel and think their last moments forever." He said while noticing a look of torment in her eyes, "It must be agonizing, I suppose ripping you up would be mercy at this point. After all, you aren't fit for my collection, nor do I even want to use you as a drink coaster." He said before seeing something nearby, "Ah, this will do." Yuri approached a well, holding the card over it, "Goodbye, Cinder." With that, he dropped the card down the well and walked away. The card fluttered into the darkness before reaching the bottom, eternally forgotten among the sea of the discarded.

Yuri stretched as he walked away, "Now then, who to take down next?" He thought with hand on his chin, "That Slifer Red does have his Super Polymerization, having two could make fighting the pale woman a lot easier. However, both duels could still prove difficult, so I should find something else as another bit of insurance." The sadistic obelisk blue said as his mind flashed back to Cinder activating a card in Ruby's duel disk, causing him to smirk, "Well, I suppose I do need a stronger field spell." Yuri said with hands behind his back, then had a wide smile, "I'll pay her one last visit before sealing her away for good." He walked into the darkness, only the violet glow in his eyes was seen.

AN: There you go, a double knockout. Pyrrha may not have won, but with that last play, she proved she could beat fate to make sure Cinder lost as well. (Couple of plays to talk about, negating Berserkion effect was not really needed as I think you need three zones open for activation. I wasn't sure about this, but it was safer to say it this way. Also, the Monster Reincarnation could have been used on Epsilon for the same outcome, but I did not do it here because its effect was already used twice this duel and would not have mattered in the end game). Out of all the fates of the characters, this one is the most brutal in my opinion. All her sins really came back to bite her here, and she really was placed into her own version of Hell. Glynda, who I think a lot of people missed that she was implied to have been chopped to bits by Cinder in there duel, comes back! She is a tricky magician girl after all. She also has an idea of how to reach Salem to save Aster and Neo but will need the help of her student to do so. We will touch in on him and the others soon as the island sky have gotten dark. Only eight people are left in the tournament now, they are dropping fast. Also, since this was a quicker chapter turnover, there were to new questions posted this time. That is all for now, thanks for reading, and hope to see you in the next chapter.
