So, after everything happened, there was still time to kill, and Khan didn't really know what to do, it wasn't even time for lunch.

So he stood there watching the horizon thinking what the hell to do.

But after a while he remembered that Felix gave him a Child folktale book, it might be worth it reading it, but even if it wasn't worth it, there wasn't anything else Khan could do anyways.

So he went back to the same exact spot where he slept and he squatted down there, he opened his pouch chest and started to search for the book that Felix gave him, after pulling out several items that he wasn't interested in at the moment, he finally found the book that Felix gave him.

He set the book in front of him and opened it.. It was impossible to read it because the letters were minuscule, but fortunately, by using the visor's zoom it was possible to read it. So Khan started to read the book.

So 10 minutes have passed, then those 10 minutes became 30 minutes, 30 minutes became 1 hour, and so on. For Khan, it wasn't that interesting, but he thought of nothing else to do, even though he could create something, but he doesn't have the materials to do so, and even if he did, he didn't want to do that for the moment.
So he continued to read the book.

Some words were incompressible to him, and some words were hard to understand, but many words were quite easy to understand, but even if he did not understand the word, he could grasp the context of the contents by reading the rest of the sentence, although, most the minutes were spent in understanding the words

'Huh, so this is the most powerful kingdom in the entire continent? I wonder how powerful compared to the Greatest Empire of Beastmen.' Khan thought.

'Lugnica it's a very large kingdom, apparently, its border doesn't have any walls, it's maybe because they don't have enough manpower or wealth to have walls at all borders?'

'Lugnica was founded.. one, zero I think.. Three zeroes .. It's 1000? maybe, well. Lugnica was founded 1000 years ago by Farsale Lugnica, eh, apparently I'm old as this kingdom. 400 years ago he also contracted a pact with the Holy Dragon to protect Lugnica'

And he continued to read and not giving many pages not very much attention, as they didn't seem interesting to him.

'huh, the population of about 50 million? do 99% of children die upon birth? this kingdom is extremely underpopulated, No wonder why there are no walls at the kingdom borders or even enough people to make that amount of wealth.'

And so he continued to flip the pages.

Until he flipped a page showing a quite hard-to-understand drawing at first sight, but the more he look more he could figure out that it was a woman with saber teeth and white hollow eyes, just her hair alone was big enough to cover two pages of the book.

"The.. of.. what are those words? Well... A truly terrifying.. majo.. even speaking her name is enough to cause fear and panic" Khan actually read those quietly.

'This woman must be pretty powerful to be feared like that.' Khan thought of the obvious.

And he continued to scroll the pages

'But one day the .. I think it's about the terrifying woman, on a peaceful day she decided to destroy the world, and she managed to destroy half the world, however...

He flipped the page, he read many times the page that he just flipped

'First Sword saint? Reid? Reid doesn't sound like a word though, sounds like more a name.. Yeah, the first sword saint Reid Van Astrea.. wait. Isn't the old man also named Van Astrea? Then no wonder why that old man is pretty powerful.'

'The Great Sage, the Divine Dragon, they sealed the... huh 400 years ago?... Again this terrifying woman. But this was 400 years ago right? Those people must be dead as a skeleton by this point, well must be it. Reading here how they described this sword saint as probably a human, hair is often used to refer the fur on their head.'

'Who is this great sage, and the divine dragon though? they sound more like titles than names... Apparently, they are the ones who sealed the terrifying woman, that woman must be very powerful if it needed that many people to be sealed... She couldn't even be slain so they instead sealed her in.. tower in the sand dunes? where is that?'

'Anyways, this majo destroyed half of the world right? An overlord could do better than that, maybe its a sub-specie of overlords?' Khan thought

The hours passed by with Khan skipping many pages or simply trying to understand what is written.

But eventually, Khan stopped reading the book, in the past 5 hours, Khan did nothing but squat down and read a book, some soldier passed by and then passed again looked at Khan that was so idle that looks like a statue.

he closed the book and just got up and stretched to relieve muscle tissues.

He looked around and saw a building that was under construction, it looked quite large, in the far distance there was the guy with the blueprints, assuming he was the architect, he looked at the building and back to the blueprint and in the meanwhile, the builders went back and forth because they were asking and doing what the architect was instructing.

Then Khan started to walk around the mansion without having anything else to do.

There were even more wagons coming in and out, soldiers patrolling the mansion, the maids that were taking care of the mansion, the fountain that was doing its usual job, and so many things happening in the background that won't be mentioned.

'How long i have been here though? I think.. yesterday was the day that I just got teleported, I slept and now this is the second day?.. yeah, I've been two days here.'

and he kept walking around till he bumped into Felix, who was searching for Khan again.

"Hello Kaan-Kyun, so, how was the reading of the Children Folktale?" Felix asked Khan.

'Fucking uninteresting!'

"There many words I did not understand, but it was fine" Khan replied to Felix

"Oh, I see that you talk a lot better nyaw." Felix said noticing his speech is a lot clearer now.
"So what did nyou not understand Kaan-Kyun?" He asked Khan.

"Well.." He then took out the book from his chest pouch and flipped the pages till it reached the middle, but then flipped back and forth trying to find the page.

Then he found the page that he wanted, he then put the opened book so close to Felix's face that he could feel the book touching his face.

"Nyooah, I can't read that close Kaan!" then Felix walk slightly back and grabbed the book to read it.

...

...

Felix's usual cutesy smile disappears, as he looks up at Khan.

"Well... Kaan-Kyun, this is about the Great Calamity."

"Who is great sage, and divine dragon?" Khan asked Felix.

"Well, the Divine Dragon Volcania is the protector of Lugnica and its people, and the Great Sage Shaula is the smartest person in the world, all of the world's knowledge belongs to her. Both the Divine Dragon and the Great Sage sealed the great calamity along with the first Sword Saint Reid.

"What it means Shitto no majo?" Khan asked, knowing that Felix did not teach him who or what it means.

"It means..." Felix opened and closed his mouth multiple times trying to come out with an answer.

"The witch of envy is a person, if it can even be called a person, she's the embodiment of evil and cruelty, she's the one who destroyed half of the world." Felix came with an answer, there was clearly hatred and anger behind the voice.

"Well, it's lunchtime by the way Kaan-Kyun, you should come to the backyard and eat" Felix after saying that, walked away.

"Hey, I did not understand.." Khan tried to talk again to Felix, but Felix was long gone.

'Well, seems like it's true that saying her name is enough to cause fear and panic.' Khan just continued to walk to the place where they had dinner the last time.

not so long ago in the backyard

In the backyard, there was still the long table from yesterday, apparently, while he was walking around everyone magically appeared around the table, Crusch was at the end of the table, and Felix was sitting on the seat that was the closest to her, from the left side, but Wilhelm was standing next to Crusch with a tray ready to personally serve her.
And there were also other maids and butlers who were standing behind Wilhelm, but probably they only served the other soldiers and Crusch too if she requested so.

like yesterday, there were three slots worth of seats next to Felix, assuming that was where Khan was supposed to sit.
So he walked to the side of the table and behind the soldiers that were sitting around the table at the same time, and he reached where he was supposed to sit, however, there was a nice carpet on the floor, so he just sat on the carpet, assuming that's where he's supposed to sit again.

"Im sorry if I could not provide an actual chair, for the moment, you will use that carpet as a chair." Crusch said to Khan.

"It's good." Khan just gave a short answer.

Now Khan looked at the table, for everyone but Khan was served some steamed vegetables, meat, bread, and a cup of water, Khan was served a lot of meat and a big-ass bowl of water, and Crusch had the same food as the soldiers but seemed to be more in quantity.

In the meanwhile, when Khan was analyzing the food of everyone, Crusch started to eat, signaling that now everybody else can start to eat.

"So, how is studying going?" Crusch asked Khan.

"It's good." Khan went into his pouch chest and grab the book.

"I can read many words of this book, but not all." Khan said to Crusch.

"I see, good to know then." Crusch said.

Meanwhile, when everyone started to eat, he saw that the soldiers were giving him short glimpses while in mid-conversation with others.
'Huh.. I think that's a hint of wariness.. or curiosity?' Khan thought.

Now Khan not knowing what else to do, started to eat the food on the plate.

After a while, somebody spoke to Khan.

"Hey, Kaan-sama... You come from.. beyond the great waterfall right?" A soldier asked nervously.

'Isn't this the same soldier from yesterday that started to ask me questions?' Khan thought

"The great waterfall?" Khan answered

'The great waterfall is the border of this world, no one knows what is or there is beyond the waterfall.' Khan remembered what Crusch said yesterday.

"I guess?" Khan answered the soldier.

"May I ask you a question?" the soldier asked the permission.

"Sure, go" Khan gave the permission.

"What is there beyond the waterfall? I always wanted to know that!" The soldier asked Khan.

"What is there..?" Khan just repeated the first sentence.
"What you mean? it's vague." Khan said to the soldier.

"Well, I don't know what to ask you about beyond the waterfall." the soldier clarified
"Soo.. I don't know, what do you wish to say?"

"Well, first of all, how many wars there been in your history?" Khan said.

"Huh.. I don't know, but I don't think there been many wars, I think.. huh, a few decades ago there been a war, but it was an internal conflict." The soldier answered his question.

"I see, seeing how few wars you have, I think your, well 'Beyond the waterfall' world wont be a pretty story to hear." Khan said

"It's a place founded mainly on war, even though many kingdoms, usually human's kingdoms, deny this fact while hiding behind their walls."

"Many parts is mainly occupied by wildlife and forests, while huh.. Beastman and humans dominate most of the land, but it is also occupied by many unintelligent species"

"Beastman? Unintelligent species? What is that supposed to mean Kaan-sama..?" The soldier asked him.

"Beastman is what you all would call demi-humans" Khan answered.

"But, I would like ask you question again now." Khan said to the soldier.

"Um, sure, go on Kaan-sama." The soldier said.

"What is your definition of huh.." Then Khan leaned slightly back, and pointed to Felix and other few soldiers that looked like beastmen.

"This, this and that, their definition of specie." Khan asked.

"They are called demi-humans.. huh.. and.. demihumans are any specie that looks humanoid, so has some traits that a human would have." The soldier said, he never expected once in his life that somebody would ask him what is a demi-human.

"Well, then this is the definition of demi-human from where i come from. There, they arent called demi-humans, but they are called beastman, they are different from humans" Khan said to the soldier.

"What do you mean by different from humans?" The soldier asked him.

"Well, beastman lives mostly in the wild, while human lives mostly in castle." Khan answered him.
"While beastman still live in kingdom, it look like forest in the beastman kingdom."

"And beastman, human share different moral and see life different and so on."

"Oh so-" The soldier tried to talk but got cut off by Khan.

"So, going back to intelligent species, all species are divided by two categories, Unintelligent, intelligent, uncivilized, and civilized species, an example is that for humans..huh.. they are intelligent and civilized, but beastman are intelligent and uncivilized, and a wild specie it's unintelligent and uncivilized."

"...What? If a specie is civilized doesn't it mean that it's intelligent?" another soldier asked, not understanding how Khan's point of view.

"What? civilized specie it's a specie that doesn't follow the rule of the wild, uncivilized it follows the rule of the wild."

"An intelligent specie, it's a specie that is able to adopt or create simple and complex knowledge and use it, the unintelligent specie uses only what they are born with, and can only adopt simple knowledge."

"Although, its not huh, 1,0.. 100% an perfect understanding how a specie acts, its a good generalization of a specie"

Everyone was kind of confused, trying to make sense of the point of view of the world beyond the waterfall.
It wasn't making sense for everyone in the table.

"So, going back how is my world, I said, it's a world mainly founded by war, it's because there constant great wars, there are been only few moments in history that there was a short-lived peace."

"Must be very rough to live in such harsh conditions." Wilhelm said.

"Hmm, well, everyone is strong, otherwise die." Khan said.

"Well, talking about strong, now that i think, you all human and demi-human look quite weak compared to the ones that I used to fight."

"Are you calling us weak!?" Another random soldier said obviously angry.

"Yes." Khan said simply.

He then pulled a new sheet of paper (how many sheets of paper he has?), he then pulled out a pen, and set aside the plates on the table pushing them aside.
Khan looked at nothing, probably thinking, and drew a humanoid shape on the paper.

"This seems like this is the average size of humans and demi-humans here."

He then pulled up the sheet of paper to demonstrate everyone.
And he put it back on the table, to then draw on it again, he pulled up the sheet of paper once again to demonstrate.

"This what humans looked liked from where i come from."

Next to it, there are two new humanoid drawings next to the first human drawing.
The new humanoid figures they are both bigger than the human figure, but one is smaller and one is bigger.

The male-looking humanoid was the biggest, it had a very bulky build, and it looked very strong.
The female-looking human was smaller than the male one, it didn't look like it have the same build as the male one, but it looked definitely stronger than the first drawn human.

For the more degenerate soldiers, they noticed that the woman-looking's chest wasn't big, it was rather small, but damn if its hips were large.

"They... Definitely look very strong!" The soldier who started all this exclaimed, a nod of agreement followed along.

'Such a strong-looking body, it's very impressive, if they are born like that, I wonder how strong they are when they are trained.. Now that I think of it, what kind of warriors such a harsh world would be able to create?' Wilhelm thought.

"Kaan-dono, may I ask you a question?" In the meanwhile, he was serving Crusch.

"Okay." Khan gave him permission to ask.

"In such a harsh world where war its a normal occurrence, and humans there needs to have such giant body, what great warriors existed Beyond the Great Waterfall?" Wilhelm asked.

"Hmm, yeah, there been many, there's this one who has the monicker name huh.. bloody and.. A female human who is not married, and did not reproduce with any males, what is that called?" Khan asked.

"Maiden." Wilhelm responded.

"Maiden? Well, there was this hunter who was named Bloody Maiden, she wasn't strongest human, but she was most popular human." Khan said.

"The reason is because how absurd her sword is and her obsession with blood."

"Her sword was a very big sword, while not as big as my sword, it was relatively oversized for a human. And she the most popular because how crazy she is, she would laugh when killing beings, she jumped from a cliff just to stab an man, she took head-on with a beastman and won but it was close call for her, as she also nearly died and so more."

"Not meaning to offend Kaan-dono, but thats.. very hard to believe to say the least." Wilhelm said.

"Well, the first time I heard it I also did not believe it, but it's true." Khan said.

'Hm, so kaan-dono showed us what a human looks like from beyond the great waterfall, but he never showed us what a demi-human looks like.' Wilhelm thought.

"Kaan-dono, May I ask you an additional question? What does a demi-human- i mean, beastman look like? You described to us what a human from beyond the great waterfall looks like, but you never have described what a beastman looks like."

"Well.. I'm a beastman, Wilhelm, you could take me as an example of what a beastman looks like."

"Oh.. Then, sorry for my rudeness, but could you take off your helmet, so that we can see what a beastman's face looks like?" Wilhelm asked.

"Okay." Khan agreed.

Khan now put his hands on his face, the white light in his visor started to die down, and soon later, the helmet starts to come off khan's head.

Now Khan's face was full on display, everyone on the table look to Khan, those who were further away just got up and leaned foward.

Khan's face was honestly the most savage-looking out of demi-humans that they have ever seen.

The first thing everyone noticed was the eyes, the eyes were of jet black, seemingly absorbing all light that surrounded it, however, the pupils were glowing white, it was glowing so much that it look like a flashlight directly pointed at them, the next thing they noticed it was the dark red fur, a very unusual color, and then they saw that the two pair of canine teeth were sticking out of Khan's mouth, they were saber toothed. And then they noticed that on the head, under the jaw and a little to the side, it didn't look like fur or skin, it look like.. a tougher layer of skin? maybe a carapace? oh, and looking at his jaws, it looked extremely strong.

"Don't take me as an example my entire specie though, beastman normally do not have red fur or toughened skin in certain parts. Most beastman have fur that fits to their natural habitat, and are often smaller than me." Khan clarified before anyone could do some misunderstanding.

"So you were born with superior genetics?" One soldier asked.

"Genetics..? Huh, yes? i think so." Khan said.

But it was now starting to get like yesterday, everybody forgot to eat their food to listen to the legendary information that only Khan possessed.

"Now, everyone, as much i would also like to listen more to Kaan-sama like you all, i think if we dont eat, no one of us will attend to our duties, let's do this conversation later." Crusch said that because she noticed that it was getting late, and it was soon time to attend to the duty of work.

"Yes, Crusch same." Every soldier obeyed her command.

Meanwhile, Khan already ate his food.

"Oh, Khan-Kyun" Felix called Khan.

Khan just turned his head to look at Felix who just called him.

"Later Ferris will teach you more grammar and Felix teach you how to write." Felix said.

"It will be long and boring?" Khan asked him

"Yeah, there will be more time to hug each other eh.. eh." Felix said obviously not really wanting to teach him because it was also boring to him.

"Oh come on, then make it quick." Khan said.

"Nyahah, Kaan-Kyun don't worry, ill be a long time nyah, Don't worry, I won't leave you exhausted." Felix smirked

Khan obviously not having a human mind but that of a beastman, Felix's teasing flew right over his head.

"Well, I'm sorry if i have to task with such a mundane task, but it's necessary." Crusch said to Felix who was a few meters apart, obviously heard the conversation.

"Oh, huh.. I.. hm.. I was joking Crusch-Sama! I would never be sad when you ask me something!" Felix said to Crusch.

Crusch smiled and did a fake sigh

"Then I appreciate you are a hardworking person, Felix."

"Theres no need t| The AUTHOR suddenly cut off Felix's sentence.

Okay, I stop here, this conversation could go on forever.
