Danny was really getting tired of getting shot at

When he saw another arrow fly at him, he snatched it out of the air turning intangible the arrow passing through his body. Then he turned invisible, looking back at the arrow to investigate. He picked it up, running his finger along the edge 'it's not sharp,' Danny thought, writing off Vlad's archer clone as being the one who shot at him.

That one wouldn't be using blunted arrows.

Putting the arrow down, he turned, flying towards the direction, looking around for the shooter.

"I don't get it," Danny heard someone say quietly. He turned to the sound of the voice coming from a high up fire escape Danny flew towards the fire case landing on it, looking around.

Before Danny could react, someone grabbed him from behind, wrapping an arm around his neck with the other pinning his arms behind his back.

Pretty impressive since he was still invisible.

Out of the shadows came was a version of him wearing an orange NASA shirt with jeans and sneakers, a quiver of arrows on his hip, and a bow in his hands.

Out of his peripheral vision, Danny caught the sight of red hair and a yellow shirt "April O'Neil," Danny said aloud, gasping a little bit.

No surprise, the arm around his neck loosened, and Danny was able to concentrate, turning intangible and visible.

The Danny with the bow looked shocked, nearly dropping his bow, and so did April "what the heck," she exclaimed, "he looks just like you."

Danny nodded. "I know this is going to sound weird, but it's all going to make sense in a minute when she reads my mind," Danny said, pointing to April.

"What," she exclaimed again, "mind-reading I can't do that," April said, obviously not used to lying.

"Yeah, April, you can because you were born with psychic powers. It's why the Kraang tries to capture you and why the guys and Master Splinter trained you," he said.

"Please, you have to trust me and read my mind," Danny pleaded "this is literally a matter of life and death."

For a second, April looked unsure, but she did what he asked, and her eyes widened. Then, she looked to archer Danny "we need to take him to the lair," she said.

"Are you serious?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm serious. He wasn't kidding when he said someone's life was in the line," April said the bow and arrow. Danny looked skeptical, but with a flick of his wrist, the bow in his hands collapsed, shrinking down into a stick the size of a tube of deodorant, which Danny honestly thought was pretty cool.

'Tuck would love that,' Danny thought.

"If this is a trick, I'm going to make you regret it," archer Danny promised before he leaped off with April Danny following right after him.

Danny followed this universe April and Danny through the sewers what felt like miles for a guy who hadn't eaten anything since dinner the night before

He was so hungry that even Proud Snacks actually sounded good, right. Ow

After what felt like forever, they took him up a maintenance hole into an empty warehouse. Danny looked around, wondering if he'd been somehow led into a trap "there's nothing here," he said, looking to the two natives suspiciously.

"If you use only your eyes to see, you will only see part of the picture," a voice said from right behind Danny. He turned quickly, throwing a punch only for it to be caught by a human-sized rat dressed in a kimono.

It took Danny a second to recognize the anthropomorphic rat. Still, he did this was Master Splinter, the adopted father slash martial arts master of Danny's friends the turtles "Master Splinter," he said, phasing his fist away, "I'm sorry you surprised me."

"Ninja is masters of surprise," Master Splinter said with what Danny was pretty sure was a smile "from what April has told me and what I can see, you have a great burden on your shoulder."

"You can say that again," Danny said. Master Splinter stepped aside behind where he was standing was a small table with food. The smell made his stomach rumble.

"Come sit, eat and tell me your tale," Master Splinter said to Danny. It sounded like an invitation, but he had the feeling the ninja master wasn't going to take no for an answer.

The same way he knew when his parents wanted him to do something and weren't going to take no for an answer

Danny walked over and sat down April, his doppelgänger, and Master Splinter joined him while explaining everything that had happened to him. April didn't look shocked, which made sense since she had read his mind while the Danny of this world looked pretty shocked.

"So you're me from an alternate universe where our parents are ghost hunters who put a portal to another dimension in their basement that zapped you gave you ghost powers now you're the world's greatest superhero back home."

"I never said I was the greatest, " Danny answered. "I just want to help people."

"Don't forget the kidnapped girlfriend," April added, "he's here to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend."

Master Splinter was silent throughout the story, scratching his chin "may I see the device you are using to traverse the multiverse."

Danny reached into his pocket, pulling out the compass handing it to the ninja master. He took the device in his hand, holding it up near his face. "I see," he said quietly after a minute.

What

What did he see

"I sense powerful magics on this device interfering with its purpose blocked by three pillars," he explained. Danny thought about what Hayley said, and he realized he's been to two worlds before this one.

In the first world, he fought a Nighlock with Black Cat, and then in the second, he fought Ranger and that volcano squid thing if they were the two pillars that meant one or two things.

"Either there's a Nighlock, or one of the Vlads clones is somewhere in New York," he said with wide eyes knowing just how dangerous either one could be in one of the most populated cities in the world.

The Danny of this world turned to face Danny "if there's a monster lurking around, we're going to find it," he said with a determined look on his face.

"I'm in, too," April said.

"As am I and my sons," Master Splinter said.

Danny looked at them all "you don't have to. This is my fight."

"As you said, someone's in trouble can't just sit by and do nothing," this world's Danny said.
