While Danny wondered if his best friend was alive and how he was stranded in another world in another part of the New York, a certain nuisance who wore red and black was helping himself to half a dozen enchiladas wrapped around an extra-large pepperoni pizza.

"A nuisance me," Deadpool asked with the faux offense. "I'm wounded, number boy."

I mean, every word Wade.

Deadpool shrugs, taking a massive bite of his meal, chewing with his mouth open "so we get to see one of the worlds you referenced in chapter 70 of Danny and Kitty, so what's different about this world."

A paper airplane flies through the air hitting Wade in the forehead. Wade curiously unfolds it he reads it.

From the desk of 61394-

In this world, Maddie went to the Air Force Academy instead of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she met Carl Pryde, and they fell in love having Jazz and Danny.

On a blind date, Jack met Theresa, and they fell in love and had Kitty.

Jack and Vlad still built the portal, and the accident did happen, but it ended up happening differently.

Danny and Kitty still met through the dating service

Danny is a mutant at Xavier's institute

Kitty is the ghost-powered hero from Amity Park.

Some other differences that will be seen/explained in this chapter

-61394

Wade nodded "neat," he said, tossing the paper over his shoulder. It landed in a recycling bin "well on with the chapter and the celebrity cameo chop-chop."

All right

While Danny was looking around stranded who knows where in the multiverse, he looked around hearing someone laughing

"Oh, you're definitely entertaining," he heard someone say. Danny turned to see an older balding man in a pinstripe suit, a twisted grin on his face and mischief in his eyes. Danny knew who he was from the stories he heard from Penny.

"I'm not interested in a deal Roker," Danny said. "I'm pretty sure Lokis more trustworthy."

"Oh, come on, Danny, I always hold up my end of the deal," Roker said, standing up from the bench then appearing behind Danny, "but it's like Robert Carlyle says all magic comes with a price, dearie."

"Like the price Vlad paid," Danny asked, "to keep me from being able to lock onto Penny

Al Roker laughed "congratulations, you're not as clueless as some other versions of you," he complimented "it's true I made a deal with Vlad when he came to me to provide magical interference to tracking Penny," he said, disappearing before Danny could punch him now he was standing by a tree "it was mutually beneficial."

"What did you get," Danny asked, angry "as you said, magic comes with a price."

Roker laughed "that's true, see, after my last deal with Penny, my bosses, they limited my magic to as long as she and her descendants live on Earth 20," he explained.

"Now, like Robin Williams, I can't use my magic to get rid of her permanently, but hey, as long as she's not on Earth 20, I get my powers back."

Danny flew at him, trying to punch Roker, but he disappeared.

AGAIN

"Huh, you know maybe you are clueless," Roker commented, sitting on an easy chair made out of clouds "well Danny, it was fun talking to you, but I've got people to see deals to make, and you've got a date with a Sentinel bye-bye now," he said before he disappeared.

Danny was going to ask what he was talking about when Danny saw a robot from when he went on a blind date with Kitty.

"Mutant detected," the massive waste of metal said before shooting a laser out of its finger. Danny flew up, dodging the blast "yeah, you might want to get your sensors checked. I'm not a mutant."

Danny flew back, throwing discs of ecto energy that exploded when they met with the Sentinels body. The Sentinel shrugged off his blasts, swinging his arm like Danny was a sly buzzing around.

Too bad for the Sentinel Danny was a lot smarter than a fly turning intangible Danny flew into the Sentinels head the massive machine got a lot shorter when Danny made an iceberg in its neck that popped the robots head off like the cork off a bottle of champagne

Danny phased out of the Sentinel, dusting off his hands. "Roker only sent one of these things after me. I feel kind of insulted"

"I know what you mean," Kitty agreed.

'At least I meet a friendly face wherever I am,' Danny thought, turning to see this world's version of the mutant girl he once dated while hoping that she wasn't a supervillain here.

And Danny got a different shock when he saw Kitty had tanned skin, Snow White hair in a ponytail, and GLOWING GREEN eyes wearing a black bodysuit with a wide white belt covering her lower stomach with boots and gloves.

Why was Kitty looking like an aged-up version of Dani?

"Kitty," Danny asked, shocked.

"That's my name, Kitty Fenton. Don't wear it out," Kitty quipped, sitting cross-legged floating in mid-air, "and you are definitely not the Danny I came to New York to see."

Did she say Kitty FENTON?

Danny thought about all the clues in front of him, her last name why she looked similar to Dani.

Kitty in this world was a Fenton 'so does that mean she's my doppelgängers sister, or is something else going on he wondered.

"You ok, dude? You've been staring at me for like half a minute," Kitty asked. "I'd be flattered, but I have a boyfriend, and I'm pretty sure we're related."

"Uh, sorry," Danny said, having not even realized he was staring, "it been a long couple of days."

"Do you want to talk about it?" Kitty asked, landing on her feet gracefully. "I'm a pretty good listener."

Danny nodded. The two walked through the park they were in, Danny telling the entire story of how he met Penny, the clones Vlads plans the Nighlocks the clones Danny's trip through the multiverse.

"You were right. It was a long story," Kitty said once Danny was done "it's kinda hard to imagine there's a world where uncle Vlad acts like the Fruitloop" Kitty stuck her tongue out when she said, Fruitloop, and her fist clenched tight.

"Whose your Plasmius" Danny asked, figuring that the multiverse anything was possible.

Even a version of the Fruitloop who wasn't a megalomaniac

"Harriet Hairy Chin, the bane of my existence, blames my dad for getting ghost powers, hates my mom for being a better reporter than she ever was, and wants to either waste me or to be her ghostly Darth Vader and take over the world together," Kitty said with a scowl that reminded him of Jazz.

"Wow, and in my world, she's just a jerk who bad mouths my dad," Danny said, "wait, she's a scientist too."

"No, she was reporting on the prototype ghost portal for the school paper," she answered, "she was going to write about the 'biggest freaks on campus,' then the portal blew up in her face."

Danny wondered if it had anything to do with diet cola but decided not to ask, "but my Fruitloop isn't the problem. It's yours."

Again, she could say that Danny was so tired of dealing with Vlad, but everything seemed hopeless.

It's not like the solution to all of his problems was just going to drop out of the sky.

As if to prove him wrong, Danny heard the sound of a portal opening dropping something on his head on the same spot that kept getting hit by the boooomerang

Danny picked up the thing seeing it was the phantom Morpher his parents had shown him.

Attached to it was a note.

"Danny Luke believes this will give you the boost you need to beat Vlad" Danny read "I know whether or not you use this or not you'll find a way to beat Vlad and get your happily ever after with Penny (AKA My future daughter in law) not just cause you're a superhero, but because you're my son and I know when you put your heart towards it, there's nothing you can't do."

Love Dad

PS Sorry if this hits you in the head. We're using Booomerang's targeting system to track you through the multiverse, and I never did figure out that bug in the system.

Kitty read the note, "well, dads the same in every reality though he says my future son in law."

Danny smiles, clipping the Morpher on his wrist and pocketing the note. He feels a little bit more hopeful. "Jack Fenton, he's a lousy shot in ghost fighting and golf, but he can give really good advice."

Too bad his dad didn't have a magical way to deal with a genie conman

Wait a minute, Danny looked to Kitty "hey Kitty, and you wouldn't happen to know someone with the magical power to beat a Faustian weatherman."

Kitty thought about it for a minute and grinned "as a matter of fact, I do," she answered before she transformed, "up for a little flight. I think it's time you met my boyfriend and the X-Men."

Danny nodded. That sounded good. The two flying off "so out of curiosity, who is your boyfriend" he asked his 'technically' sister from an alternate reality.

Or were they cousins

'Yeah, I'm not thinking about it,' Danny thought, deciding it was too complicated.

"Well, you know him pretty well as you and Penny. We met on a blind date, went to a club, danced to some music, fought a sentinel, and we kissed"

Wow, that sounded exactly like Danny's date with Kitty.

Ohhh, now he got it. If Kitty was the Phantom in this world, then that meant

"Let me guess his name is Danny Pryde," he asked rhetorically.

"Yep," Kitty answered.

"So you weren't weirded out seeing a version of your boyfriend from another world who's living your life," Danny asked as they flew past a skyscraper an electronic billboard talking about President Bruce Wayne's trip to Zamunda.

Neat

Kitty shrugged "the multiverse is weird. One time, Danny, his sister Jazz, and her boyfriend Peter ended up in a world where everything was made out of pastrami," she told him.

Ok, that was the weirdest thing Danny's heard about the multiverse. He decided that nothing would top that as they flew towards a big mansion with ivy growing on the walls.

By the door, he could see a sign.

Xavier's institute for the gifted

"You guys have a witch living here," Danny asked as they landed on a gravel walkway, "one strong enough to beat a genie."

"She doesn't call herself a witch, but yeah, she's definitely the scariest thing here, even scarier than Logan when he's in a bad mood," Kitty answered as they knocked on the door.

Danny didn't know who Logan was, but Kitty sounded pretty confident.

'Hang on, Penny, I'm finally coming,' Danny thought for the first time since Penny fell through the portal. He was hopeful.
