The Specter Family Chronicles
Holiday Special Year One
Chapter Two: Mike's Secrets
November 27th, 2017
Specter Family House
Greystone, Massachusetts
Harvey and Mike had a late start this morning. They were woken by people shouting outside their door. Mike woke first, and darted into the bathroom to take his medication, whilst Harvey just sat up in bed, calling to Mike if he was alright. His boyfriend returned to the room nodding, saying that he's just feeling a little fuzzy in the head at the moment, but he's going to be okay. Harvey nodded, asking if he wants to shower with him, to which the younger man smirks, and follows his boyfriend who leads him seductively into the bathroom, undressing him, before pulling him into the shower. Harvey was lucky as a kid to be the only sibling with an ensuite bathroom (besides his parents), so he doesn't have to worry about someone bursting in on them in the shower. This is the first time they've been intimate since they got here, and Mike doesn't know how he feels about it. Once they're finished, dressed and ready to head downstairs, Harvey grabs Mike's hand, and follows the sound of the shouting, to the living room, where Helena is dealing out some motherly love to her kids who are doing something silly. Lily is cooking something delightful in the kitchen, and Mike feels compelled to go and help her out, whilst Harvey is pulled away by his father to help him get something out of the garage. Mike asks Lily if there is anything he can help with, and she smiles at him, and asks him to continue making the cake that she had to put to the side to begin the lunch. Mike smiles and is handed an apron, which he puts on, earning a kiss to the cheek from Lily. He goes about baking the cake, not taking one look at the recipe, because he knows it off by heart, it's on the back of the box, and he's read it many times. When Harvey returns from helping his father, he enters the kitchen and sees Mike and his mother cooking something, and Mike wearing an apron, and he can't help but find his boyfriend sexy. He pulls out his phone and snaps a photo of Mike, who doesn't know that he's done it. When he hears the conversation that Mike and Lily are having, about the time that he tried to bake something, he immediately inserts himself into the conversation, going into lawyer mode to 'object' to his mothers' statement. Mike chuckles, especially when his mother comes back with an 'objection denied councilor'. Mike can't help but laugh at the look on Harvey's face.
Once the cake is in the oven, and Lily has the lunch on to cook, Mike removes his apron and goes to find Harvey. He finds his boyfriend playing video games… video games… with his nephews. When he entered the entertainment room, that was the last thing he expected to see, Harvey… playing a video game. He takes a picture of his boss/boyfriend, and smirks when Harvey looks over at him, mouthing 'delete' to him. Mike shakes his head, but isn't prepared to be tackled by Harvey, and doesn't have a chance to escape as his boyfriend wraps his arms around him, and whispers dirty things in his ear, telling him what he'll do if he deletes the picture. Mike shakes his head, and finally manages to escape from Harvey, who chases him through the house, until his mother stops him from running, and tells him to 'leave Michael alone', before sending a wink to Mike, who winks back. Harvey tells his mother that he doesn't like this (referring to their newfound team bonding) … and she just pats her son's cheek and tells him that she still loves him. Harvey stands with his arms crossed, watching Mike catch his breath, which immediately freaks him out, even though he knows it isn't a panic attack. His boyfriend is just unfit. He tells this to Mike, who stalks out of the room, then walks back into tell Harvey that if he's as unfit as the closer says he is, then why is he able to ride a bike to work every day? Harvey just smirks at him, walking closer to Mike until he's backed up against the wall of the living room, Harvey pressing him further into it, breath ghosting over his lips. Mike leans forward and connects their lips, then pulls away whispers 'payback' and saunters off again. Harvey is left gaping at the space where Mike was standing. At nine, they're all called to gather in the lounge for today's event. It is going to be trivia. Harvey and Mike share a look, the younger raises an eyebrow at his boyfriend whilst the older lawyer just smirks at him. If Mike didn't know better, he would think that Harvey is only using him for his brain. Deciding that he isn't going to let Harvey think he can just… use him like that…. Mike makes him a bet. Whoever answers the most correct questions, gets to be on top tonight. Harvey blanches, swallows harshly not expecting Mike to say that, then nods, shaking hands with his boyfriend.
'Okay listen up. Here are the rules for today. There are going to be fifty questions. Each team must work together to answer them. If you know the answer, write it down. If you don't, write Unknown in the space. The team with the most correct answers, moves on to the next round. Is everyone clear?' Helena says loudly to the entire room, everyone replies 'yes'.
'Alrighty. Split off into your teams and we'll get started,' Lily says, as the couples and the kids move to a place a distance away from someone else, Harvey and Mike take a seat on the couch in the corner, Mike on Harvey's lap.
'Alrighty Mikey… this is your time to shine baby,' Harvey said, realizing that maybe that was the wrong thing to say when Mike scowled at him, he quickly added 'I love you,' to which Mike nodded, Harvey wrapped his arms around Mike's waist.
'I love you too,' Mike replied to Harvey, as the first question was given out.
After forty-seven questions, Mike and Harvey thought they were doing pretty well. They had worked together and answered most straight away. But their tally for who had answered the most between the two of them… of course it was Mike. Harvey knew this was going to be the case. He loves it when Mike tops, he loves when Mike is in charge. It gets him hot. Maybe he slacked off a little, maybe it was deliberate, maybe he stopped caring after Mike told him that he wasn't feeling well and kept almost falling asleep on him. Regardless, they have three questions to go, and then they can go upstairs, and Mike can lie down until lunch. The kids had been doing surprisingly well also, so Harvey knew they were going to have competition. Helena and Molly had been shit talking them all game, so he's a little revved up right now, but Mike… his boyfriend looks like he's ready to pass out, which worries Harvey, because his medication is meant to stop things like this from happening, he's not meant to have these episodes on this medication, his doctor said they would stop them. But they seem to be getting worse. Harvey made eye contact with Mike, silently asking if he's okay, and when Mike shook his head, he asked his mother to hurry it along. He answered the last three questions quickly, then threw the sheet at his sister, before picking Mike up, bridle style and hurrying upstairs. Molly and Helena both noticed this, but the eldest Specter sibling silently said she'll go after them. Mike was throwing up in the bathroom, Harvey rubbing his back, hopefully in a comforting way. He didn't hear his bedroom door open, or notice that his sister was in the room, until she was standing in the bathroom doorway, asking what was going on. Mike looked over at her, eyes going wide when he spotted her before he stood and began brushing his teeth. Harvey helped him, and then led him over to their bed, telling Mike to lie down, before closing his bedroom door, and asking Helena what she thought she was doing, invading their privacy. She said that she is worried about Mike, and they've been acting weird since they got here. The young lawyer grabbed Harvey's hand, shared a silent conversation with him, and then nodded. Harvey pulled Mike up to him, and the young man curled up to his boyfriend, allowing Harvey to softly run fingers through his hair. Helena sat on the edge of the bed, watching the interaction.
Harvey told Helena about Mike's condition. He is epileptic. He has seizures and panic attacks more often than not, and they've been getting worse. Most of the triggers are stress related, that is why it happened on their first night here. Helena asked about Mike's medication, to which Harvey answered that he was taking a new trial drug, but he doesn't think it's working. He wants Mike to be put back on Tangent, that seems to make things better. Helena asks if he knows what caused this, and Harvey looks down at his boyfriend, who looks between the two of them, and nods to Harvey, who asks if, he's sure. Mike just nods again. Helena asks Harvey if something terrible happened, if that's why Mike is reluctant to share anything with them, but the young lawyer just hides his face in the pillows and asks Harvey to tell his sister. First, the lawyer makes his sister promise that she won't tell anyone else. Not even Molly. Reluctantly, Helena agrees. Harvey begins talking about a story from six months ago, about three months after they had started dating Mike was… Harvey hesitates for a moment, noticing that Mike has fallen asleep, he moves his boyfriend to make him comfortable, then grabs Helena's hand, and leads her out of the room, over to Helena's room, and they sit down on her bed, the same way they used to when they were teenagers. Helena's room is still the awful shade of pink that it was back then, and she still has some of her old things strewn around the room, like old dolls, and toys and collectors' things from when they were kids. Harvey can see his bed from Helena's, so he told her to leave the door open, he'll just whisper, because he wants to make sure that Mike doesn't wake up and freak out because he isn't there. Helena asks what happened, why all of this is so secretive. Harvey knows that he can't tell his sister about Mike being a fraud, or him working at the firm with no degree, or anything like that. He rubs and hand down his face and closes his eyes. He hates remembering this even more than Mike does, and he doesn't even have an eidetic memory. Helena takes her brothers hands and promises that he can tell her anything and she won't share it with anyone. He trusts her, and Mike told him that he also shares that trust, so he feels like he can share it… he just must be able to.
'Mike and I had been together for almost three months. We were still navigating me being an asshole, and I was still hiding my true self from Mike. I didn't want to give him all of me in case it didn't work out. I was afraid. We had planned to meet up one night after work for dinner in the city. Mike… he doesn't drive. I should have sent Ray to pick him up, but I knew Mike would want to ride his bike… I should have sent Ray…' Harvey said, trying to hold back the tears.
'Harvey, what happened? It helps you to talk to you know,' Helena replied in a whisper.
'Mike was meant to meet me at eight, but he was late. I didn't think anything of it because he's always damn late for everything. But I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I decided to leave, because I wanted to find out what was going on, and he wasn't answering his phone… I… I got back to the condo, figuring that he might've gone home first, but he wasn't there. I tried to call him again, it went straight to dial tone… Helena he… he…'
'Harvey… it's okay take your time. If you can't share it, it's okay,' she said hugging her brother.
'No, I need to talk about it you're right. Mike had been brutally beaten by some fucking idiot and left for dead. I got a call from the hospital. He had serious head injuries, someone had taken a crowbar to his head, and broken bones and… I should've sent Ray for him if he were with Ray this never would've happened… Mike suffered a cranial fracture in his brain that they couldn't operate on. Helena, Mike has an eidetic memory. It's like a photographic memory, he can remember everything… crystal clear. His mind is… incredible. A couple of weeks after he was deemed 'okay' and released, he had a seizure, and the doctor found bleeding in his brain. They took him in and operated, and managed to stop it, but the amount of trauma to his brain and the way his mind works… they said there are some things they can't fix. But they diagnosed him with severe epilepsy. He doesn't want anyone to think of him differently, that's why we try and keep it to ourselves, and Mike hates people thinking he can't do the same things he used to. I'm just… I worry about him Lena…. I love him so much I just… I worry…' Harvey said, finally breaking down in his sister's arms.
Helena just held him whilst he cried, trying herself not to cry.
Eventually, Harvey fell asleep on Helena's bed, and she didn't have the heart to wake him, so she tucked him in, and let him sleep for a couple of hours. She returned downstairs where they had finished trivia and were preparing for lunch. She told Molly, that Mike just had a headache and felt sick, and Harvey being the sappy romantic, carried him up the stairs. Molly took her word for it, and Helena had to steady herself to not cry. The shit that those two have been through, to be who they are now… she admires the strength that she sees in both Mike and her brother. Her mother had been slaving away all day in the kitchen and her brother had been having an internal emotional meltdown for the last six months… her family is in serious need of just pure un-adulterated fun. Just something completely stupid. That immediately inspired her. It was just before one pm that Harvey woke. He sat up, temporarily forgetting his surroundings until he remembered that he was in Helena's room. He came to a bit more and noticed that Mike wasn't in bed. He got to his feet and sprinted into his room, finding Mike coming out of the bathroom. He just hugged his boyfriend. Mike told him to stop apologizing, it wasn't his fault, that they got the guy that did it, and he's in prison where he belongs. Harvey kissed Mike… like it would be the last time, and Mike let him. Eventually, he needs to breath, but he held Harvey close to him, until he heard the call for lunch. Mike and Harvey went downstairs, hand in hand, and re-joined the noisy clan of people gathered around the dining room table. Mike made a comment that if they're having meals like this every day, he might not be able to eat thanksgiving dinner, to which Lily just said that he's too skinny, and needs to 'bulk up'. Mike smiled, grabbing his plate from Helena, who shared a sad smile with him. Harvey kissed his cheek, whispering for him to eat up because he is skinny. Mike feigned offence to the statement, then stabbed a piece of broccoli, teasing Harvey by making lewd noises whilst eating it. Luckily, no one else was paying attention. They ate in relative silence today, there were a few conversations here and there, but no one was shouting over the top of anyone to get attention. Mike lamented in the silence, taking a moment to just… enjoy everything and the company of everyone.
Once lunch was over, and Mike and Harvey had been allocated washing duty, everyone filed into the entertainment room. Harvey and Mike stood beside one another, just washing the dishes. It wasn't awkward, sometimes in their relationship, it's just silence that they need. They can be working on a case like this as well. Mike asked Harvey how his talk with Helena went, and he told him everything that happened, promising that he made her swear she wouldn't tell anyone else until he was ready… if he was. Mike thanked him, and kissed his cheek, reminding him that it wasn't his fault, and he needs to stop blaming himself, it's not healthy. Harvey nodded, pushing Mike back against the counter, and kissing him, feeling the heat rise. Before they could go any further, Lily and Richard entered the kitchen, both clearing their throats to get the boys' attention then smirking at the two of them when they blushed. Mike turned back to wash the dishes, whilst Harvey chatted with his parents about lunch and what their activity is for the afternoon. Richard patted his son on the back, handing him the last of the plates, then left the kitchen, sending him a wink on the way out. Harvey was left gaping after his father. Sure, his dad didn't outwardly say or do anything that was for or against him being gay, but that… that was a sure sign that he accepts Harvey, and he never really had that from his dad. When he came out to his father, Richard just said… "okay son", and that was that. But that… Harvey called after his father and moved over to hug him. Richard just told him to 'stop being a sap', but there was a cheeky smile on his face, that Harvey knew… he smiled back, returning to help Mike. After the two lawyer boys had finished their wash duty, they joined the rest of the family in the entertainment room, where the girls were participating in a dance-battle. If only Donna was here…. Harvey thought. Mike made himself comfortable in Harvey's space, allowing the man to wrap his arms around Mike's waist, and rest his head on his shoulder. They remained like that for most of the battles, both clapping whenever a round ended. Then it was the boys turns. Harvey tried to escape the room, but was betrayed by his boyfriend, who grabbed his hand and told him that he must do it for their team. He glared at Mike, who just winked at him. First, he was pit against Damien. He could hear Mike cheering for him the loudest, that's what kept him going.

Specter Family House
Greystone, Massachusetts
Two days before Thanksgiving, and the Specter House has descended in to complete and utter chaos. There were people everywhere, decorating things, shouting things to each other, Lily was run off her feet cooking. It was chaos. Harvey and Damien had been championed to help with decorating the front yard, and Mike had offered his services to the ladies in the kitchen, which they gladly took him up on. When Molly found out that Mike could cook… she basically said that she would immediately divorce Damien and marry him. Mike was flattered but told her that he's in love with Harvey. She told him that it was okay, she wouldn't hold it against him. They bonded in that moment. Helena was still living with the knowledge of what had happened to Mike. She and Harvey had chatted about it a couple of times since he told her yesterday, she wanted to make sure that Harvey was doing okay with everything, and he said that he was, and hoped that he hadn't just dumped it all on her. To be honest, she had gone to church that morning and confessed to the priest, just so she could tell someone. It had made her feel a lot better. But she didn't tell that to Harvey. The conversation was kept light in the kitchen. Molly was asking Mike where he had learnt to cook, and he was about to answer, when there was a loud crashing from the front yard. The four of them ran into the living room to see that something had smashed one of the front windows of the house, and that Richard was standing there, shouting that he was going to get it fixed before Thursday, and not to worry. Lily rolled her eyes and went to get a broom to help Marcus clean up the glass. Mike, Helena and Molly returned to the kitchen to finish the food, but it seemed that Molly had forgotten her question, Mike was kind of grateful. When the boys had finished their work outside and had come in demanding food, Molly and Helena were quick to kick them out of the kitchen. Helena told Harvey about Molly wanting to marry Mike, but that he was loyal to him. He also said that it's because he's gay, and Helena added that as well. Molly just kissed Mike's cheek and winked at Harvey when he growled at her.
Harvey and Mike had almost gone an entire week without any interference from the office, but at eleven am, Jessica called Harvey's cell. He looked at the caller ID, and then showed it to Mike, who just shrugged, telling Harvey that he could answer it, or not. It was up to him. Figuring she wouldn't call unless it was important, Harvey excused himself and answered the call. Mike didn't want to be called into work; he didn't want to leave here. It was so different to anything, and he had emerged himself so much into Harvey's little world here, that he didn't think he'd be able to go back to normal after the holidays. Jessica's phone call didn't last that long, but it left Harvey a little agitated. He told Mike that she needs those files they brought with them done by Thursday, and Mike said he'd get to work on them. Harvey grabbed his hand as he was leaving the room, and pulled him back into him, kissing him and thanking him, before letting him go again. Mike smiled as he made his way upstairs to their room, where they had left their bags, and reluctantly pulled out the work they had brought 'just in case'. It was lucky they did. Mike settled himself at the small desk in Harvey's room and got to work. If he didn't stop, he could have them all done before lunch. Downstairs, Harvey was getting more and more agitated when Jessica kept calling him, and asking him about the files, and when they would be done. He doesn't like yelling in front of his family, he doesn't want to be work Harvey here, but his boss is annoying him, and the fact that he feels immense guilt for making Mike do all this work, when he's feeling shit too, isn't helping. On the third time Jessica rings, he considers throwing his phone into the water, but he doesn't have time to get a new one and program everything… it's too much work. He answers it in his classic 'pissed-off-Harvey' tone, leaving the crowded room to talk in the hallway. He's pacing back and forth, pinching the bridge of his nose, as he tries to maintain some sense of sanity whilst talking to Jessica. He's about ready to punch a wall, when Mike appears at the top of the stairs, stating that he's finished, and is going to fax them through to Jessica now. He relays this to the managing partner, then hangs up before he says anything else. He joins Mike in his fathers' study, hugging him, back to front, kissing his neck and thanking him for doing that. Mike turns in his arms to face him, kissing him.
'Why did she need these so desperately, two days before Thanksgiving?' Mike asked, as the machine beeped indicating it was finished.
'I don't know, and I don't care. It's done. Now we don't have to think about it anymore,' Harvey said, taking the file from Mike's hand and running his hands up the sides of Mike's torso, under his shirt, brushing his nipples, nipping at his neck.
'Ha-Harvey… stop. We're not having sex in your father's office,' Mike whisper-shouted the last part, grabbing the file and leaving the room.
'Well, where can we have sex then? How about… my childhood bedroom? It's a family tradition you know…' he said, waggling his eyebrows, Mike just turned and sauntered up the stairs, stopping at the door to Harvey's room, then crooking his finger to tell Harvey to follow him…
The older lawyer literally sprinted up the stairs.
Sometimes, Mike forgets things. He isn't meant to because he has an eidetic memory. Nothing is supposed to escape his brain, it's meant to stay put. But sometimes, he forgets things. It doesn't happen often, and when it does, he feels like shit for a couple of hours. So, when he and Harvey finish their 'afternoon delight' and they're heading downstairs, Mike has a momentary lapse of memory, and it freaks him out. He grabs Harvey's arm, steadying himself against falling, and sits down on the stairs, head in his hands. Harvey, immediately worried, kneels beside him, asking if it's the thing. He just nods, and after Harvey prompts him, he remembers it. By the time Mike looks up, he has tears pooling in his eyes, and he's on the verge of a panic attack, Harvey can see it starting. He tells Mike to take deep breaths, in and out. Think of something good. Mike closes his eyes and remembers all the good times he and Harvey have had so far. He's able to calm his breathing enough so that he doesn't feel the dizziness coming on. But now he feels something else, a bunch of people staring at him. When he opens his eyes, he sees that he and Harvey have amassed an audience. He looks between Harvey's family and Harvey, who is asking them all to leave them alone for a minute, and he can't make up his mind: fight or flight? The front door is right there, he could just run. But he wouldn't get far, and he doesn't know his way around all that well yet. You'd think he would, but he's only seen a little bit of Greystone, the parts that he and Harvey went on the scavenger hunt. The panic is building back up with all the people staring at him. Mike stands up quickly, and sprints back upstairs into Harvey's room, leaving the group of people with a lot of questions. Harvey tells them that Mike still isn't feeling the best, that they're going to skip the rest of the day, and follows his boyfriend upstairs, slamming his bedroom door. He locks it. Mike is rocking back and forth in the middle of the bed, mumbling things to himself. Harvey goes over to him, and hugs him, and reminds Mike not to panic. Downstairs, Helena tells them that Mike is sick, and that they all need to take some medicine to make sure no one else gets it, and that seems to disperse the crowd. Once they're gone, Helena goes upstairs and knocks on the door. It's a secret knock that she and Harvey made up when they were kids. Mike shakes his head, and Harvey calls out that they want to be alone.
They don't go down for lunch, but Harvey goes downstairs for dinner. When he enters the dining room, Damien asks what Mike has, that is making him so sick, and he replies that it's just a stomach bug. That seems to dispel the questions, but he shares a look with his sister, and she subtly nods. Harvey eats with his family, then his mother gives him something to take up to Mike. He kisses her cheek, tells her he loves her, and thanks her for everything, before going back upstairs. Lily is floored by her son but returns to her work quickly. When Harvey gets back upstairs, Mike is still asleep, but he is woken when Harvey slowly runs his hand through Mike's hair. The younger lawyer sits up, and Harvey hands him the plate of food and some cutlery, as well as a glass of water and his pills. Mike kisses him in thanks and proceeds to eat. Harvey laments that he needs to get a TV in this room, to which Mike reminds him that a TV could ruin their sex life. Harvey raises an eyebrow at him. They've only had sex twice since they've been here, and he knows that Mike thinks it's weird, whilst his parents and siblings and nieces and nephews are like just downstairs, but Harvey doesn't care. He just wants to love Mike. Wherever they are. When he finishes his dinner, Harvey takes the plate and knife and fork back downstairs, whilst Mike rests after taking his tablets. Tomorrow, Harvey is calling his doctor to talk about changing his medication to something that doesn't make him so drowsy. Damien catches him in the kitchen and mentions something about their aunt and cousins coming over for Christmas, to which Harvey groans and whines. He hates his aunt and cousins. They never come over because they thought they were 'too good' for the rest of their family, but ever since his aunt divorced, she's been trying to get her hands on his dads' money. Harvey doesn't like them all that much, and he's glad that Damien is on the same page as him. The two brothers talk for a while, then Damien says something that makes Harvey's blood boil. He asks if there is something else wrong with Mike, something more serious. Harvey denies it, asking where he would get an idea like that, but Damien just said that he had observed it. He's married to a doctor. Harvey shakes his head.
'There is nothing wrong with Mike. He just has a stomach bug okay. Go tell the rest of those gossipers that too,' Harvey said, referring to the rest of his family, hanging on the door frame to the living room.
'We're just worried Harvey,'
'You don't think I'm worried? I worry about that damn kid every day. Just… it's fine okay,' Harvey said, leaving before he says anything else.
'Damien, you pressed until it hurt…' his father said, but Damien shook his head.
'Mike is still hiding something. I'm worried about them both. I'll find out what it is,' he replied, Helena just held her tongue.

Specter Family House
Greystone, Massachusetts
The next day, Mike was feeling much better, and he and Harvey had gone downstairs to help with the preparations for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Damien hadn't bothered Mike, mostly because Mike was helping Richard building something in the front yard, and Damien was out the back. Mike had never known anyone who decorated for Thanksgiving, but all the houses here in Greystone had some kind of Thanksgiving foliage adoring the house. As he worked with Richard, he took a moment to take it all in, sitting on top of the roof of the Specter Family House, he could see for miles. Richard asked him if he was mad, just sitting up there, with the snow, he's likely to break something if he falls, and Mike apologised, said that he got caught up with the view from up here, and carefully got down. Richard said that he wouldn't want Mike to fall and hurt himself, because Harvey would be heartbroken, and he's seen his son many things, but he doesn't ever want to see that. Mike nodded and handed the man back the hammer. They had been putting things up, and were now standing back on the sidewalk, admiring their work. Mike had to admit, it felt good. He was proud of the work he had done, and when Richard patted his shoulder, and told him that he was also proud, and thanked him for helping out, Mike had to hold back the tears that threatened to overflow. He and Richard kind of stood there for a while, and it wasn't until Lily and Helena found them that they realised it. Both women were looking at them as if they had gone mad, and they quickly went about packing up the yard, and putting things away. Mike carried things, he knew where things went, and he was able to put them where they belonged. Richard didn't have to prompt him much about where something went. He doesn't know why, but it felt like he had just had a father/son bonding moment, even though Richard isn't his father. Maybe James would still be proud of him as well? When they had finished, the two men headed back into the house, and stopped in the living room. Lily looked them over once, and told them both to go and shower, because she didn't want dirt on her nice clean carpets. Mike looked down, immediately noticing the dirt that had gathered on him, and apologised, before heading back upstairs.
Mike was in the bathroom, preparing for his shower when Harvey entered the room, leaning on the door frame, eyebrow raised. Mike shot him a look, stating that he had been helping Richard on the roof, and now he's taking a shower to clean himself up because his mother said so. That didn't deter Harvey. He moved the rest of the way into the bathroom, and crowded Mike against the far wall, kissing him and undressing him at the same time. When they were both naked, they showered together, and Harvey washed Mike (then fucked him), then washed him again. They had both just stepped out of the shower, when they were interrupted by Helena, appearing at the door to the bathroom. Mike let out a little scream, and hid himself behind Harvey, even though he had a towel covering everything. Harvey smirked at his sister, who smirked back, crossing her arms, and raising her eyebrow in that typical Specter way. Mike was drying and dressing himself behind Harvey, and when he had his boxers and pants on, he stepped out from behind his boyfriend to enter the bedroom and finish getting ready. It was only then that Helena noticed the faded scars on Mike's back and one up on his head. It took her by surprise, but that might also be why Mike was hiding from her. Once Mike had his shirt on, he turned to face the eldest Specter sibling, who was still looking between them, whilst her brother stood in his bathroom with nothing but a towel around his waist. Mike asked if there was something, they could help her with, to which she just responded with a smirk, before patting Harvey's cheek and leaving the room. Mike thought it was weird, Harvey rolled his eyes and finished getting dressed. Helena, in all honesty, had heard them having sex in the shower, but Harvey had locked his bedroom door. Of course, being the eldest sibling, she knows how to pick the lock, so she did, but it took her a while, and she only got the aftermath. But she knows what went on in that bathroom. Later that evening, Mike and Harvey went downstairs and joined the rest of the family in the second round of Trivia. They had won the first round and had moved onto the next round. This time, Harvey was shit talking his siblings, but Mike just focused on the game. He didn't want anyone to hate him. Not until Molly said something sly, and Mike replied that 'all is fair in love and Trivia', and that got the ball rolling.
A/N: The holidays are just getting good, and Mike is about to learn what the true meaning of a 'Family Christmas' is when he's thrown more into the shenanigans and Christmas plans of the Specter Family. D.
