A/N: DISCLAIMER: Heavy sexual references and themes. I wrote most of these A/N's at two in the morning. Probably why most of them don't make sense, and are just me dribbling on about something for a couple of lines, before telling you to enjoy the chapter, and thank you for reading it. P.S: Whitewater, I am pretty sure from my extensive researching on the internet, is a real place located in Massachusetts USA. I don't know if there are such things there as Rock Spas or Springs. If there are, you lucky people. I love Rock Springs. They're so calming. If not, enjoy what could be... JusticeIsn'tEasy0083. D.
PPS: No there are no such things as Rock Springs you can, for lack of better term "woohoo" in. That would be highly unsanitary. I mean, do what you will, where you will, but seriously. That part is completely made up. Rock Spas (at least where I am from) are natural to the environment. They're maintained by environmental experts, who keep them clean, sanitary, and beautiful. That is all. Thank you.

Chapter Five: Rock Springs and Trivia Nights

Whitewater Rock Springs Spa
Whitewater, Massachusetts
They had gotten up at the crack of dawn this morning, so they could make it to their Spa Day before the crowds arrived. When Helena had mentioned that they were coming to Whitewater in December, Harvey had called them up and made a special appointment for him and Mike at twelve pm, without the younger man's knowledge. Boss doesn't give him the day off my ass… he thought to himself as Mike dozed on his shoulder, stating that five am 'is a ridiculous time to get up when you're camping'. They had organised the 'Family Bundle Package' which included complete access to the facilities, as well as lunch and some special care packages that you could only get with the Family Package. He was excited, because the last time he had come here with his family, he had been 'straight' and brought a girl with him, but she had been whining all day about everything and Harvey had ended up sending her back to the hotel. He's not proud of it, but it was ten years ago. He's not proud of who he was back then. Mike's warm breath ghosted on his neck, and Harvey had to fight everything in his being not to let it affect him the way that it usually does. Mike had been excited about these Springs ever since he had researched them, the day before they left for Massachusetts. He had been telling Rachel about them, and some of the exciting things they could do and see, and it was nice for Harvey to see that Mike was excited about something like that. Whitewater is relatively large, and backs onto a vast landscape. Harvey has mentioned to Donna before that this is probably one of the only other places he would ever live, if he moved out of New York. Of course, he'd said that years before he had met Mike, and gotten name partner at the firm, and his career had taken off. Damien was chatting with Molly, their kids were fiddling with things in the back of the car, and Mike was dozing on his shoulder. In the rear-view mirror, Molly made eye contact with her brother-in-law and smiled when she saw the happiness in his eyes, his smile and just Mike, content to sit in silence with Harvey. She and Damien could learn some lessons about relationships from those two. They were the first ones to get to the spa, Helena, Peter and the others were in the other car, which pulled up just after they had gotten out.
Mike was taken aback by the beauty of the Rock Springs. The smell that filled the air was calming and even before they walked in the door, he could feel the 'satisfying effects' this was going to have on his skin. Lily took charge, going to the check-in and getting their passes and their itinerary for the day, and Harvey made sure to get a reminder for his and Mike's special session at twelve, to which Helena smirked at him, arms crossed, hip jutted out to the side. He just looked at her, smiling and walking back to where Mike was seated with the others. He's feeling better, better than he's felt in a long time. With his family back in his life, and Mike by his side, he knows that he can do anything… he can win. That's why he wants to give his boyfriend something special. Once they were all checked in, they were taken into their allotted Family Relaxation Room (or like a conference room thing where they could leave their things and only they could get into it using the key cards that had been given to them), and were giving a quick presentation on safety and precautions and then a map of the Spa, and robes they could wear, as well as special shoes. Mike slipped into the small bathroom to change, coming out wearing a T-shirt, his swimming trunks, the special sandals and holding the robe in his hand. He put his things in the bag that he and Harvey had brought with them, and was about to pull out his wallet, when Harvey sauntered up behind him, wrapping arms around his waist, and reminding him that he can't wear a t-shirt in the springs. Mike sighed, and quickly pulled his shirt off, putting on the robe, and turning to face Harvey, palms up as if to ask 'better?' Harvey nodded, he knows that Mike is self-conscious about his body, and people seeing the scars, but he doesn't want that angst today. Today, they're going to relax, and rejuvenate. Mike and Harvey follow Helena, Peter, and their kids into the first Rock Pool. This one is scented slightly of Jasmine and is supposed to 'calm the mind and body'. Mike makes sure to get in so that he's slightly hidden by Harvey, whilst the kids splash around in the larger pool beside them. Helena curls into Peter, who wraps and arm around her shoulders, but Mike and Harvey sit side by side, kind of stilted.
'Harvey, no one is going to say anything to you or Mike. If they do, I am going to kick their arses,' Helena said, noticing her brother's behaviour.
'I appreciate that sis, thanks,' he said, almost sarcastically looking over at Mike who was looking anywhere but at them, he let out a little squeak when Harvey pulled him close, wrapping arms around Mike's waist, and kissing him
'Why you so sarcastic Harv? I can beat the shit out of anyone, just you watch. If they come at you, I'll go at them harder,' Helena said, elbowing her husband when he chuckled, and kicking her brother when he smirked
'Ouch. Watch where you're kicking that foot sis,' Harvey said, kicking Helena back
Mike was thankful that no one could really see his body whilst they were in the rock pools. He didn't need that kind of drama today, and he certainly didn't want to bring everyone down by having to tell them the depressing story of his sad life. There was an allotment of thirty minutes to each pool, to allow the effects to 'rejuvenate the body'. Harvey had been more than clingy today, which usually Mike doesn't mind, but he's not feeling the best, and he doesn't want anything to happen that would send Harvey on a tailspin again. The kids had been swimming around in the main big pool, playing water games, and just having fun. Helena and Molly had gone down to check on them, before re-joining their respective partners to head to their next pool. This one was one you could only access if you booked the family package, which the Specters had, so when they went in, they were the only ones in there, and there was champagne and food. Of course, the boys went straight for the food, and the ladies grabbed a glass of champagne. Whilst they were all distracted, Mike slipped himself into the Spring, and let the warmth of the pool, collide with the cool of the air, as he tried to relax. Harvey got in beside him moments later, and Mike chuckled at him, wiping a bit of stray chocolate from the side of his mouth, before pressing a kiss to the same spot. It was something they did so naturally, they never thought about it before, but since the other day, Mike has been thinking about those things a lot. Molly and Damien were sitting beside him on the right, whilst Harvey had crowded him close on the left. Lily and Richard had left them for their own massages, and Helena and Peter were still snacking. Could kissing Harvey after he's eaten a strawberry give Mike an allergic reaction? He had never tested that, and he figured he best not do it now, because he didn't bring an EpiPen with him today, because he didn't plan on giving himself an allergic reaction, but it got him thinking. He was thinking so hard that he was frowning at his boyfriend's lips, which in turn caused everyone to ask him if he's okay, or if he's mad at Harvey's lips for some reason (this from Molly causing all of them to chuckle). Mike shook himself out of his own brain, and apologised, claiming to have been lost in thought. Harvey smirked at him, eyebrow raised, then kissed his cheek. He could ask Molly if that could do it, but he didn't know how to broach that subject lightly.
At noon, Harvey and Mike separated from the group to go to their special Spa session that Harvey had booked for them. Mike was surprised, and a little worried that his boyfriend had booked them something strange like a couples mani/pedi or something like that. He doesn't mind doing the whole 'spa' thing, but he wouldn't go that far. He was surprised to find that it wasn't something silly like that, when one of their guides led them out to a secluded Rock Pool, that overlooked the Spa below, and had a beautiful view of Whitewater through the glass wall beside them. Harvey thanked their guide, Jess, and when they were alone, he pulled Mike close to him and kissed him, apologising for being weird earlier. Mike just shook his head, and asked Harvey when he'd had time to do all of this, to which the older lawyer just looked at him, raised eyebrow and said that he has 'a lot of time to do a lot of things'. Mike suspected that this might have been Donna's doing, but Harvey kissing his neck dissipated his train of thought on the topic. They got into their little Rock Pool, which had been replicated from one in the Springs and built here as like a private 'sensual' area. Mike read and re-read to make sure that he had completely taken in what the little plaque said, before he felt himself being pulled back into his boyfriend's arms. Harvey peppered soft kisses to his neck, and down his back, arms wrapped firmly around Mike's waist, so that the younger lawyer couldn't get away. Mike felt his boyfriend bite his neck, and swatted Harvey's head away, asking if he'd suddenly become a vampire and was trying to kill him, to which Harvey, smirked and whispered in Mike's ear that he isn't going to be some 'sparkly little shit'. Jess brought them a snacks plate, like the one from the other spa, and some champagne, to which Mike had a glass this time. They talked softly, listening to the relaxing sounds from the outdoors, and the music that was playing, and tried to ignore the tingling sensation that filled their bodies from the 'sensual' spa. Mike moved out of Harvey's grip, and back over to the plaque to read it again, because he was sure that he had missed something. He was kneeling on the small ledge, reading this plaque when he felt Harvey's hand, and he knew that his boyfriend had planned all of this out deliberately to try and get him naked in a public place. Mike almost jumped a mile high when he felt Harvey's hand breech the waist band of his swim trunks.
'H-Harvey… w-what are you… oh my god… fuck,' Mike said when Harvey inserted the first finger.
'You read that plaque correctly the first time Mike. This is the sensual spa. I'm feeling sensual, now let me take you,' Harvey whispered in his ear, Mike moaning as he felt the second finger
'W-w-we c-ca-can't fuck… we can't have sex… shit…here Harvey…' Mike managed to get out, as he felt his boyfriend's arousal behind him.
'Shhhh… yes we can. That's what this spa is for. They clean and disinfect everything so it's not germy… and I want you now… I don't want to wait until we get back to camp to take you,' Harvey said, without warning thrusting into Mike, who moaned Harvey's name loudly as he warmed to the intrusion.
When Harvey and Mike, both sated from their 'sensual spa', re-joined the rest of the family, there were heading down to their little room for lunch. Lily and Richard had made them all meals, but they were also offered the buffet that the rest of the visitors here were going to be allowed to have. When Mike made a sound before sitting down, Helena looked over at her brother, who wasn't looking at her, and smirked. She knew that he had booked them that 'special escape' package so that he and Mike could go off and have sex, whilst the rest of them were dealing with kids and fighting parents and… she was going to have to use this against her brother in some way, to get something from him, because let's face it. She loves her husband, but he would never do something like that, because they're not the kind of couple who would do something like that. But Harvey, when it comes to Mike, he can't keep his hands off him. Nor apparently any other part of his body… even in a public (or private) space. Helena pulled her brother aside and asked if he and Mike had a nice… massage… to which Harvey replied as she thought he would, keeping up with the charade that that is where they had gone off to, but Helena was keeping that information to herself for a time when she could use it to her advantage, like when their mother asks her to do something, she can pawn it off on her brother, by bribing him. She loves Harvey, and she loves Mike, but they're still siblings, and she's still the eldest, and she needs to have a little fun sometimes as well. Marcus and Caroline were the last to join them, having been doing some swimming lessons. The young girl was swimming her way to the top of her school's leader board, and she was going to be in her schools swimming carnival when they started back up. Marcus and Mike stood together, chatting about what other activities they had here, and gathered some interest for the small 'water park' they had outside. Harvey was hesitant, and from the look on Mike's face, he could tell that his boyfriend wasn't that thrilled either, but wanted to help Marcus out, because clearly the youngest Specter sibling wanted to go, and needed a reason to not be the only adult there. Caroline refused to go with her father, Harvey had to chuckle when she said it was because he's 'embarrassing'. Mike hit Harvey's shoulder and told him not to laugh, then he and Marcus pretended they were cool by donning sunglasses and "heading to the slopes". Harvey spent the rest of the day denying that he had any association with the two of them.
They left the Spa at about four pm and set off back for Whitewater Campground. It wasn't as busy on the roads going back as it was coming in, yet it still seemed to take a while to get back. They had been successful in the first round of trivia and were not set to take on the winners of the second-round tonight in a kind of 'Grandfinal' for the title. Harvey made everyone promise that if they're going to do this, they're going to do it to win, which made Mike rolls his eyes, and made them all promise that they would also have fun, this said mainly to Harvey, to squinted at him, but had a smirk on his face. The kids were all asleep by the time they got back to their site, and they had the time of their lives watching the parents wake them up. Mike had gone back to thinking about whether or not he could have an allergic reaction if he kissed Harvey after he'd eaten a strawberry and was so caught up in this train of thought, that he wasn't paying attention to where he was going, and almost ran into the trailer in front of him. Embarrassed and a little bruised, Mike slunk into the tent, and grabbed his things to change. Even though he had showered at the Spa, he didn't feel clean in the clothes he was wearing, so he quickly changed. Harvey was sitting by the fire, talking with Damien and Peter when Mike found them. The others were practicing their trivia faces, and how they were going to answer questions, and Mike found himself on his previous thought train again. He could ask Molly, that would probably be better and less life threatening than just getting Harvey to test it. He had noticed, as well, that Helena had been staring at him oddly ever since they had returned to the camp, and it wasn't until he had ran to the bathroom before the competition that he saw why. Harvey had left a hickey on his neck, above his collar line. Mike pulled his jacket up and zipped it so that it was covering his neck and ran back to the tents to ask Molly if he could borrow some foundation. She chuckled when he revealed why. He let Molly cover him up, and then when they were both ready, they ran to meet up with the others in the hall. Harvey pretended to look sad when he saw that Mike had covered up the hickey, but he had just punched his boyfriend's arm and told him that he'll get his revenge. Harvey just kissed his cheek.
'Okay family. This is it. Whether or not we win, we're going to do it together, and have fun, isn't that right Harvey?' Lily asked, eyeing her son
'Oh yes mother. Of course,' he said, plastering a grin on his face that Mike could see right through
'Good, now let's kick some butts,' Lily said, and Mike was wholly surprised because he had never heard Lily say anything like that before, and it wasn't even a swear word
'Let's do this baby,' Harvey whispered in Mike's ear, then pressed a soft kiss to his earlobe

It was the middle of their trip, and they had all gotten back late last night after the Trivia. Mike woke Harvey this morning, by accident, in his attempts to leave the tent quietly. He had agreed to go Rock Climbing with Helena, Peter, Molly and Damien, but Harvey hadn't wanted to go, so he let his boyfriend go off with them himself. Harvey managed to fall back to sleep, but was woken at seven am by his mother, shouting to him that it was 'about time he got up'. The rest of the kids were milling around their site when he got up, and Marcus was sitting at the table, reading the paper. He hadn't gone rock climbing either, but he and Richard were going fishing later. Harvey didn't know what he was going to do, probably stay here with his mother and nieces and nephews and entertain them he supposes. He was so caught up in making himself breakfast, that he didn't see the silent conversation between his mother, and father and brother going on right beside him, until his father asked if he would like to come fishing with him and Marcus. The youngest Specter sibling was pleading Harvey to say yes with his eyes, and his mother was as well, so against his better judgement, Harvey agreed. Marcus stood up and hugged him, thanking him for saving him from spending three hours alone in a boat with Dad, in silence. Harvey promised that he would be the 'life of the party', and Marcus patted him on the back. His father jokingly asked him if he still remembered how to put everything together, because he wasn't going to help him, to which Harvey replied that he did. Lily told the kids that there was another crafty thing happening at the hall today, to which they all groaned and asked if there was something more fun they could do, like the Ropes Obstacle Course they had seen on the way into the Park. Harvey had seen that too, and mentioned it to Molly, who said she had tried to book to get them in, but it was packed for the next few days. But Harvey told the kids he would see what he could do, because he's kind of intrigued by it and wants to try it as well. For the rest of the morning, Harvey fielded questions from his nieces and nephews about being a lawyer, and his status as 'Cool Uncle Harvey'. At eight thirty, he, Marcus and Richard headed off for their fishing day. Harvey had left a note for Mike in their tent to let the man know where he was, because he didn't trust his mother to tell him for some reason…
Molly, Damien, Peter, Helena and Mike got to the Rock Climbing activity just on time, and were harnessed up by the instructors and told to wait over with the rest of the group, where they would be given instructions and told the safety rights. Out the corner of his eye, Mike noticed that one of the guys who had insulted him and Harvey the other day was here, but he didn't look to be with his friend. He pointed this out to Peter and the others, who promised Mike they would keep close to him if he came over. He isn't afraid of the guy, he just thought he should tell them because Mike was about ready to punch him as well. Just for the sake of everyone who has gone through what he and Harvey have been through. Helena was chatting with another woman about how this is something she had been wanting to do, and Peter and Damien were taking bets on which of them could make it to the top. Mike put himself in the draw and bet thirty on himself and twenty on the other two. Helena put thirty on Mike, and Molly bet against her husband, putting twenty on Peter. There was no love lost on any of these bets. Helena had bet against Peter, and Peter against her. Molly had bet against Damien and he against her, and Mike had bet on himself, because he didn't want to 'ruffle any feather's'. Helena said that at the end, the one who makes it to the top, gets the entire pool of money, to which Damien agreed, although Peter was a little put out by it, but ultimately agreed that the 'winner shall take all'. Mike had laughed when he mocked raising an invisible sword into the air and bowing. He and Harvey had been watching Game of Thrones recently. It's kind of dark, but they've been enjoying it, well when they have time to watch it. Donna came over one night and almost spoiled the whole thing for them, when she found out they were only on season one, Mike had never been more scared of Donna than he was that night. Once they had taken their bets and had been notified by Damien that he was going to 'kick all their butts', their instructors had finished talking, and had let the first group go. They weren't last, but they weren't anywhere near the front either. Whilst they waited, Molly and Helena filled Mike in on some stories about Harvey.
'When we were teenagers, Harvey and I would sneak out of the house late at night, and go down to this club, where we could get in, because they let anyone in without checking ID's and Harvey and I were pretty tall so they thought we passed for twenty-one. We'd had a couple of drinks, and Helena had to come and get us, so when she got us home, she opened the front door, and went in shouting to mom and dad, who came downstairs where Harvey and I were… clearly drunk off our faces…she betrayed us,' Damien said
'I was looking out for you two idiots. You were a bad influence on Harvey,' Helena said, defensively
'Bullshit. You were more of a bad influence. The one time you had to take care of Harvey, you invited your boyfriend over, and let him get into the pantry… you know how that ended Lena…' Damien said, and everyone chuckled
'Harvey was fine. He ate a lot of flour… I had to clean his shit for a month… it was disgusting. But I learnt my lesson. You didn't learn yours though did you Damien?' she asked, and Molly patted her husbands' shoulder, shaking her head to indicate to Mike that he hadn't
Mike didn't have any problems with the guy that had harassed them previously, in fact he didn't even see Mike, or if he did, he didn't make any trouble. When it was finally their turn, they each took their time, climbing to the top. Helena made it to about the middle, as did Molly, Peter and Damien almost made it to the top, but it was Mike, Michael Ross, who reached the very top. He was let down via his harness to the ground and told the boys that they owe him some money. Everyone was startled, but the girls were ecstatic that someone had put their husbands in their place (for once). All the way back to their tents, Peter and Damien quizzed Mike on his athletic prowess, and he just said that he liked to work out, that he had done climbing walls before, and found them fun and exhilarating, but you have to do them the right way, and judge the pegs before you step. Damien thought that was nonsense, but congratulated Mike anyway. When they returned to camp, finally after what felt like hours, it was to the smell of something delightful cooking. Harvey was manning the barbeque and sporting an adorable little apron. Mike walked over to him, kissed his cheek, and gave his ass a smack as he walked past behind Harvey, telling Peter that he owes him money, and that he'll be back to collect. Harvey just raised an eyebrow at his brother-in-law, who filled them in on the bet they had made, and how Mike had shown them all up and made it to the top of the wall, and how they all owe him money. Richard, Marcus, and Lily chuckled, whilst Harvey just smiled, shaking his head… they should know better than to make bets with Mike… they'll learn… he thought to himself, smirking. He knows better than to make bets with his boyfriend on anything not just physical things. Mike returned moments later, and asked Marcus how the fishing trip went. The youngest Specter sibling pouted, stating that he and Richard didn't catch anything, but Harvey did, to which Mike looked over at him in surprise, and Harvey just shrugged, as if it were no big deal. When everyone else had gone about helping to set up for lunch, Mike caught Harvey's eye and winked at him before slipping into their tent. His muscles are sore from the climbing wall, and his neck is going to be a pain tomorrow, because he hasn't been sleeping right on it. Maybe Harvey will give him a massage? Unlikely, but Mike is good at persuading his boyfriend to do things… he might have to… use his manly charms… if you know what he means.
Once lunch was ready, they all gathered around to eat, and didn't even have to talk. The people who were staying next to them were fighting, loud enough for the entire park to hear, so they all sat in silence, just listening to the drama unfolding next door, waiting for something exciting to happen. There seemed to be a build-up, then something smashed, and it caused them all to jump a little in shock. Helena groaned when the yelling died down, but soon enough there was more yelling. Harvey watched his siblings as they hung on the drama unfolding beside them. Mike was eating lunch and reading his book, which Harvey noticed he was almost finished with, not that it's surprising. Mike could read a book in an hour if he had the chance to. The fact that his boyfriend was able to ignore the fight going on next door was just a small showcase of what Mike's mind can do. Mostly at work he ignores the other associates who seem to spend more time trying to piss Mike off, than they do working, so he's good at blocking out noises that are going on around him. They're so hung on everything that is happening next door, that they don't even hear the kids when they call to them, or ask them if they can go for a walk to the river with some other kids, until Lily calls them all back to reality. Mike looks up from his book when he hears Lily shout, and silently apologises, to which Harvey shakes his head, saying that he isn't at fault, it was the others. Mike smiles and goes back to reading. Molly is watching Mike, how fast he is reading, his eyes scanning the pages at an alarming rate, and is enthralled by it. She has never seen anyone do something like that. Mike isn't just speed reading, he's… turbo reading. Once the fighting from next door dies down, the family begins to return to normal, Molly and Helena do the dishes, both get caught on watching Mike whilst he's reading. The weather decided to be against them today, and it's started raining, so they are relegated to playing board games under their little shared tent area. First, they start out with Monopoly, which Mike is hesitant to play, after hearing about what happened last time. He continues to read his book, curled up to Harvey, who has an arm around his shoulders, playing with the hair at the back of his neck. Mike's head rests on Harvey's shoulder whilst he reads. The closer decided to sit this game out, so now they're placing bets on who between Damien, Marcus, Richard, Lily, and the kids, is going to give up first.
'I don't know, Damien gave up last time, I'd say mom,' Helena said, earning a glare from her mother
'I wouldn't bet against Lily in anything. I'd say Damien, because I know what he's like,' Molly said, winking at the sad look her husband gives her
'Why can't we just play a game of Monopoly without you guys' betting on who is going to throw the board first?' Marcus asked as he rolled and landed in prison, groaning
'Oh, I don't know… let's give it another hour… then we'll answer that question…' Helena replied, patting her youngest brothers' shoulder

Mike woke to the most wonderful sensation. He opened his eyes and was immediately thrown into his arousal when he saw Harvey, blowing him. Mike's eyes fell closed again, and he threw his head back against the pillow, whilst Harvey continued his ministrations on his body. For the most part, they have been able to maintain their sex life pretty well whilst they've been on this trip, and he's proud of that fact, because they're in a tent and everything. Harvey inserts the first finger, crooking it to hit Mike's sweet spot, and Mike has to bite his arm to keep himself from screaming out. It's been a while since Harvey has woken him up like this, but it's good that it isn't every day, because when it does come, Mike appreciates it more. He's rocking back and forth against the fingers now stretching him out, prepping him for the main round. Harvey inserts a third finger, and Mike bangs his hand against the mattress and arches his back to try and get some sort of friction, but there isn't any. Finally, Harvey removes his fingers, and lubes himself up, then he lines himself up against Mike's hole, and thrusts into it, the warmth encasing him, Mike throws his head back, and Harvey takes the opportunity to attack Mike's neck. He leaves a trail of small bite marks, and kisses, and finally sets a pace that is both too fast and too slow. Mike can't decide, but he sinks into the kisses from Harvey, biting his boyfriend's shoulder when he feels the need to scream out. Harvey sucks on his nipples and teases the other one with his fingers. Mike almost squirms with delight, and it threatens to overflow. Harvey fastens the pace, and Mike is rolling his hips along with him, to get that perfect flow. He grabs his own dick and begins pumping it, throwing his head back at the delight running through his veins. This is the best way to wake up on a dreary morning. If he can wake up like this for the rest of his life on shitty mornings, he'll die a happy man. Harvey begins to slow, and Mike knows that means that he's close. He pulls Harvey into him, and they kiss, and Harvey quietly growls into Mike's ear that he should come for him, and Mike does, Harvey kissing him to lower the sound Mike makes when he does, then Harvey lets himself go whilst still inside his boyfriend. They collapse, Harvey pulling himself out, and cleaning Mike up, before cosying back up to him under the duvet.
It was a slow morning, and it was cold and still raining, so Harvey didn't feel the need to really get out of bed. Mike was reading beside him, resting on his chest, whilst Harvey ran his hand up and down Mike's back, closing his eyes, just resting peacefully. Or he was, until he heard the zipper of their tent open, and his sister-in-law loudly exclaiming 'good morning'. From the now open door, he could see the rest of his family milling around, and whilst Mike tried to hide himself away from their onlookers, Harvey just pulled him closer and pressed a kiss to Mike's temple. Lily appeared at the door to their tent and asked them if they were planning on actually joining them in the world today, to which Harvey just shook his head and said that they might just hang out here, doing nothing, because it isn't like they can do anything in the rain. Richard, Marcus, Damien, and Peter were going fishing, but they had already left. It didn't bother Harvey, he had done that yesterday, but it might have been nice if they'd asked Mike to go with them. He looked down at his boyfriend, who was reading faster than the speed of light, and noticed a dark area near his hip. Mike was too caught up in the book he was reading to pay attention to what Harvey was doing, but when his boyfriend pulled the side of his sweatpants down, Mike brought his head up to look at him. There was a bruise on his left side, just above the scar that he had on his hip. Mike didn't know how it had gotten there but said that it could've been from rock climbing yesterday if he accidentally bumped himself on the way down or something. Harvey pressed against the discolouration, listening to the hiss that Mike let out when he did it, then called Molly over. Mike immediately moved to cover himself up, but he couldn't get Harvey to drop it. Molly came over, and into their tent, and knelt to have a look at the bruise, noting the scar just near it, but not saying anything. She pressed against it, heard Mike hiss, and then nodded. She lifted Mike's shirt a little, looking for anymore bruises, but deemed that it was the only one. Then asked Mike if he'd accidentally knocked it yesterday when they were rock climbing. He nodded, wanting them both to leave him alone.
'It just looks like a flesh bruise. Nothing serious. Mike probably just bumped into something on the rock climb yesterday. It will fade in a couple of days. Put some cream on it if you're worried though,' Molly said, standing and leaving the tent
'See, was it really necessary to get Molly in here? I told you what it was from,' Mike said, covering himself back up
'I'm sorry, it just took me by surprise. I didn't know if it had something to do with the scars or something from your EpiPen. It's happened before,' Harvey said, kissing his cheek
'I'm fine. Are you coming back to snuggle or are you going out there?' Mike asked, as Harvey curled back up to him, Mike returning to his previous position.
A/N: I have a question... what is your favourite thing to do early in the morning? Or, are you a person who prefers to not get up with the rising of the sun? It's interesting to find out these things. Personally, I'm a night owl. I stay up ridiculously late (or early) and still manage to get up early as well. Life of a teacher! D.
