"Restaurant...restaurant...restaurant...ugh, come on, where is the restaurant!?" groaned Tsuyu in aggravation.

The Frog Girl ran up to the foggy street, mainly to the right side of the road, to find wherever this restaurant that Shigaraki(the caller on her phone) had told her to go to. So far, she passed by businesses, each of them being shops and cafes, but not a restaurant of any kind, especially not at the end of the street as she hasn't been up there yet. In fact, the street felt like it went on, making her feel like she's been running straight for two minutes.

When am I gonna reach this intersection!? How long is this street!?

And right when she said that, she saw that she was coming up to an intersection.

"Ah! Finally! *ribbit!*" Tsuyu exclaimed.

She stopped at the edge of the block and turned to the building to read the sign that was above the windows and doors.

La Petite Grenouille

It even had the French flag complimenting the outside decor...

"...A French restaurant?" Tsuyu muttered in question. Then she narrowed her eyes and scowled as she realized it was a play on words. "Oh, real funny. Just because I'm a frog...ugh, this Shigaraki's got some really twisted sense of humor," said in disdain.

She then went up to the restaurant windows, looking through them as she cupped her hands above her eyes. It was a little dark inside, even with all the street lights on.

Well, I guess I should go inside...

Backing away from the window, Tsuyu went over to the entrance of the French restaurant. The entrance even has some French-style doors to compliment the restaurant's decor.

Okay...let's go.

She reached for the doorknob of one of the doors...and opened it.

...Which...was a little odd...it was opened.

"Huh...well, this town is abandoned, so I guess they wouldn't bother locking something that no one will go into now...right? *ribbit?*" Tsuyu muttered to herself in slight question.

Either way, she entered the dining establishment...

It was, of course, dark inside.

"Okay…" she whispered, "I'm thinking maybe since there are lights in the streets, this place should also have electricity as well...only one way to find ou-" Tsuyu was cut off when...

...The lights in the restaurant flickered on like a breath of air.

Tsuyu's eyes widened as she blinked.

"...O-Okay...that...that happened..."

The Frog Girl moved her head to her left and right to make sure and see if anyone was actually in this building.

"H-Hello...?"

...No one answered...

...It was all quiet...

"...Come on, Tsuyu," she said in an effort to reassure herself, "Don't be scared. This is part of being a Hero. You just need to do what Shigaraki is instructing you, so you can save Samidare and Satsuki!"

Nodding to herself, Tsuyu then continued onward, albeit cautiously, into the restaurant...

While passing white-clothed tables, cushioned booths, and some wooden chairs that were put down on the ground(some of them were stacked up on tables), the feeling of absolute silence became so deafening, that the only thing Tsuyu could hear was the sound of her sneakers on the floor whenever she took a quiet step...

Once she was at the back of the dining area and near the entrance to the kitchen's swinging doors, she paused.

...Okay. Something is waiting for me beyond this kitchen. Whatever that may be, I'm going to have to face it head-on. Just remember you're saving your siblings...

Tsuyu took a deep breath and sighed...

...I really wish I have someone here with me right now…

She wasn't one to be afraid of anything, but when it comes to her family being in danger, you better believe she'll drop everything to try and save them. The fear kicks in, feeling like she is the only lifeline to her brother and sister beyond this point, and if she makes one wrong move or step, it would result in their lives being cut short. It was an anxious feeling, and to do it all herself, by herself, without anyone consoling her...

Man...I wish Midoriya was here.

...Tsuyu blinked.

Well...yeah, cause he's good at trying to plan things out, I would think...yeah...that's why. I mean, that's exactly why I would want him here...

Shaking her head at that thought, she took another deep breath and raised her hand on one of the swinging doors...

...Pushing it open, she charged in and got in a ready stance to face whatever Villain, person, or even Shigaraki himself, that was waiting behind the kitchen doors.

...The lights were also on...

...and there was no one in the kitchen...

...except for a table and a chair.

On the table, with a white cloth draped over it, was a serving dish with the lid still on it.

A little puzzled by that, Tsuyu went over to the table...

Stopping in front of it, she observed the contents on the table.

There was also...a kitchen knife on the left side and a fork laying on the right side of the dish, as well as...a chef's knife on the top side...

"...Does he...want me to eat something?" Tsuyu asked herself in slight confusion.

Reaching out to the lid's handle, she grasped it and picked up the serving dish's lid...

...Tsuyu's eyes widened...then they narrowed in grossed-out annoyance.

"Yeah. This guy definitely has a sick sense of humor."

On the plate...was a dead toad.

Not a frog, just...a dead toad. Lying on its back...dead...

"...He expects me to eat this?" Tsuyu asked in disgust, "I don't know if I consider this cannibalism or what."

Then, the airy ringtone from the cell phone went off again.

Gasping in surprise, Tsuyu grabbed Ochako's phone out of her short pockets and looked at the phone's screen briefly.

[Guess who?]

...How is he even doing that?

Not thinking about it further, Tsuyu pushed the 'talk' button.

"Okay, I'm here! What is this about!? Why are you showing me a dead toad? You know my Quirk is Frog, right!?"

"Oh, calm down. And yes, I know it's a toad, don't get smart with me. But it's close, right? Anyway, what you see here is the first of many of these dead little things that are littered and hidden around town. Every one of them - except for this one, this little corpse is just the starting point for you, it has no meaning - is particularly well hidden. There are about five more in this town. And each of them contains some...key items for you."

"Contain?" Tsuyu asked in slight confusion...until she realized...

She looked down at the dead toad...and glanced at the knife next to it.

"...You're a sick bastard!" Tsuyu exclaimed at him on the phone.

"You know, I really don't like your language or your tone, little missy. But if you figured it out by now, yes, you have to cut open the toad's stomach to get the item out of it. Kind of like science class back in the junior high days, am I right?"

Scowling at Shigaraki's tone, Tsuyu was about to retort back, when she felt something within her mind...something she remembered...

"Anyway, you get the picture now. Cut open the toad and get your item. I even left a flashlight in the freezer if you need a little light on the subject! This town surely will get darker soon, and the lights on the streets won't be reliable for too long. I mean, especially with this fog coming in and all that, you know? So I suggest you get that first."

"...What is your game?" Tsuyu asked the Villain.

"Oh, I'm not playing a game...maybe. Either way, I'm just...studying you."

Tsuyu cringed at that remark.

"Oh, and one last thing...you might need to get that flashlight soon. Who knows how long the power will stay on? I don't want to waste any of this park's money just to keep the light on, ya know? I hope you're not scared of the dark."

...Tsuyu glanced at the chef's knife on the top side of the dish.

"So with that said...hop to it."

BEEP-BEEP!

"...Grrr! Jerk!" Tsuyu closed Ochako's flip phone and put it in her pocket. Glancing down at the dead toad on the plate as well as the chef's knife, she relayed her choices.

Well, I guess I got to get the flashlight first...if what that Shigaraki Villain said, the power might turn off soon. And I don't want to risk finding anything in the pitch blackness...

She shivered upon being alone in a building in the dark...in an abandoned town.

Yeah, got to find that flashlight.

Tsuyu then searched around the kitchen for a door to a freezer anywhere.

Upon looking to her left, she saw the freezer door little ways down...it was closed.

Approaching the door cautiously, she looked in the freezer door's window to see if she can find anything. Seeing it was dark, she sees if there is a light switch next to the door. Seeing that there is to its right, she flicked it on...the lights in the freezer room came on.

"Okay..." Tsuyu reached for the handle of the freezer door and turned it.

It took a bit of strength, but she got it open regardless. Letting it open just a bit for her to enter through, she went inside the freezer to find that flashlight.

...It was cold inside...

...Huh...I wonder why this freezer is still working?

She looked around the freezer room for the flashlight. All she could see were...shelves and boxes...

"..." Tsuyu scowled, "Well, this won't be so hard...hopefully," she said sarcastically.

The Frog girl went forward further, even looking into some boxes that might contain a flashlight.

After looking into the fifth box, she groaned.

"Seriously, I'm just looking for a flashlight! It's not that hard!" Tsuyu growled.

I got to save Satsuki and Samidare...

She doesn't want to lose anyone she cares for...

CLICK!

...The sound of lights shutting down...and shrouding the room into darkness...

"AH! ...Ugh...damn it!" Tsuyu exclaimed, "That's just freakin' perfect!"

...However, there was a flashing light a little way to her right.

"Huh?" Tsuyu looked to her right to see...something flashing on the wall around and behind some shelves.

"..." Going over there, she got closer to the area where the flashing light is. As she neared it, she reached for it, grabbing the object in the dark...to pick up a thin flashlight that was placed in between two boxes. It kept flashing its light, whereas Tsuyu then adjusted the light for it to stay on. Now the flashlight was shining brightly as she held onto it in her right hand.

"...Okay then," she muttered.

Aiming her light on her surroundings, she tried to find her way out of this freezer. She retraced her steps and was now across the freezer door, which was still open.

...Please don't let this freezer door slam and lock me in.

Tsuyu walked forward to the door...

...But then...the freezer door...opened wider...

The Frog Girl paused in her step.

"...H-Hello?" she said softly out.

...No answer...

"..."

Tsuyu was trying to keep it together, to keep her cool...which she's really good at doing, but right now...

Just get out of this room. It's only your imagination, there is no one behind...that door...it just opened by itself...

...She made a run for it.

She ran out of the freezer room, her flashlight illuminating and shaking around as she went forward.

Once she exited the freezer, Tsuyu kept running, running to the table with the chef's knife...

A dreaded thought came to her.

Oh shit! The knife!

If someone is here...then they could've gotten the knife!

She found the table in the darkness and saw...

...the knife was still there.

Oh thank goodness!

Tsuyu grabbed the chef's knife in her left hand and turned around to see if anyone was following her.

...There was no one...

Just...darkness and silence...

...Switching the knife to her right hand and the flashlight to her left hand, Tsuyu kept her guard up...

"...Is anyone here!?" she called out around her.

...Once again, no one answered.

"..."

Tsuyu cautiously turned around to view the light on the table...where the dead toad is placed on the dish.

"...Okay..." she flashed the light on the knife she has in her hand, "...Let's just get this over with..."

She went to the chair and sat on it, putting the flashlight down on the table to let the head of it shine on the dead toad. As she looked down at the toad, she actually felt a little hesitant about doing this...

"...This feels wrong..." Tsuyu muttered. "...But if I have to cut open a dead toad to save my brother and sister, then...I will..."

...She put the bigger knife down on the table and got the dinner knife and fork on each side of the dish...

"...Okay...let's do this..."

...Tsuyu sat there for a few seconds…

...Did that Shigaraki guy say there were five more of these dead toads?

"...Okay, now I'm just delaying at this point. I got to do this!" she berated herself.

For Samidare and Satsuki...

...With a deep breath, she placed the fork on the toad's stomach...

...She pushed the fork into the toad...letting it sink into the amphibian's flesh...

...She placed the blade of the dinner knife on where the fork is...and saw it open...

...Fluids start coming out of the frog as she dissects it.

Oh gosh, don't hurl...

She kept sawing and shoving the knife into the stomach of the toad…

Man...I always hated this...it feels like torture...I guess that's why that jerk wanted me to do this...so he can have some sort of sick pleasure out of it…

...

...No...don't think about-

Her knife hit something...something hard.

"Huh?" Tsuyu blinked.

...She got the knife out of the toad's stomach, which trailed slimy residue from its blade. She tried not to vomit. She then used the edge of the blade to move the dissection cut to the right, while she used the fork to pry open the cut to the left...

...The cut opened wider on the toad...and then, she saw it.

...A key.

Eyes widened, Tsuyu then, carefully, tried to scoop the key with the fork...

The fork hooked something on the key...

...She got it out of the toad's stomach...

...The key had a keychain on it...

...The keychain was...a picture of a bowling ball pin...

Tsuyu raised it up to her face with what little light she had. She then put the dinner knife down on the table and grabbed the flashlight with her right hand as she kept the key and its keychain in the air. Shining the light on it, she observed the object.

"...Bowling?" she mumbled in confusion.

She placed the keychain on the side of the dish to her left, letting it slide off the fork. Using the tablecloth to wipe away the bodily residue off the key and its chain, she bravely picked up the key with her fingers and looked at it again.

"...What's the significance of this?" she wondered out loud, "I mean, I like bowling, but..."

RIIING! RIIING!

"GAH!" Tsuyu exclaimed. Putting the flashlight down on the table, she dug her hand into her side pockets to get Ochako's phone out. Upon quickly looking at the caller ID(there was none), she opened the phone and answered.

"Okay! I did it! Now what is this for!?"

"Ah, straight to the point! I like that! Well, you did say you like bowling, right?"

Huh? How did...did he hear me say that...?

Shaking her head to forget that for now, Tsuyu exclaimed, "Yeah, what is it to ya!?"

"Hehehe! Oooh, I like that spunk on ya, Froggy Girl! Well, simply put, you have to find the next dead toad at your next location! The keychain would give it a clue on where you need to go!"

"What!?" snarled Tsuyu, "Just what is the point of this!? Where are my brother and sister!?"

"Na-ah-ah! You need to keep going! Their lives are on the line, you know? Oh, and before you progress...watch out. There are some creepy folks out there walking in the streets...you might need the big knife, just in case."

Tsuyu's eyes widened as her breath hitched.

"If you can survive the streets here, then look for your next destination, that being a bowling alley, if the clue wasn't obvious enough. Just take an immediate right on the street when you get out of the restaurant, and after two blocks, take a left at Pattu Street. Two more blocks ahead, you'll come up to the bowling alley, Chinmoku Lanes! Try to find the next toad and your next clue inside it. Oh, and have fun over there while you're at it! Ciao!"

BEEP-BEEP!

...And she was alone again...in a dark kitchen in a French restaurant...

"...Damn it!" Tsuyu cursed, clearly frustrated, "Just what do you want from me!"

She stood there for a moment in the dark, and seeing no answer would come soon, she pocketed Ochako's phone, as well as the key and its chain, and got the flashlight off the table.

Letting out an anxious breath, Tsuyu muttered to herself, "Okay...just stay focused. Try and find this bowling alley and find this next...dead toad...man, I really wish someone would help me out right now."

Before she can turn around and exit the kitchen, she paused and looked at the bigger knife on the table.

...It lay there...waiting to be picked up...

"..." Tsuyu gulped, "...Crap..."

...She switched the flashlight to her left hand and advanced towards the bigger knife on the table...and picked it up with her right.

The blade of the knife shined in her hand, the flashlight reflecting the light off the metal. She could see her reflection on it just briefly...

"...Okay..."

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, she turned back around, using the flashlight to guide her in the dark.

The light then shined on the swinging kitchen doors...

...She was walking toward them...

...and then, both of the doors suddenly opened! Something was coming toward Tsuyu at an alarming rate!

Eyes widened in shock and surprise, as the Frog Girl halted and backed up quickly, making her trip on her own feet.

"ACK!"

Tsuyu fell on the floor and landed on her butt, the knife still in her hand as well as the flashlight in the other. She hurriedly lifted the light and flashed it on whatever was coming at her...

And her eyes widened in horror, frozen still from where she sat.

It was some kind of...person?

...What...What is it?

The person was coming at her, albeit slowly as she shined the flashlight at it.

This...man? Either way, this thing was wearing...a whole green bodysuit. The person has raggedy curled short raven-colored hair, and it...was reaching out with its right arm, its hand exposed and ready to grasp at something...

But as for the other arm, the left one...it looked like it was attached...not only at the shoulder but...at the face as well!

The other appendage looked like it has an exposed hand as well, but the hand looked fused with its face. She can see the flesh outline of the hand and its fingers as its arm from its shoulder was pulling futilely at the face, making it look like it was a part of its skin as it stretched, trying to free itself from the 'hand's' grasp. There was only one glassy-looking eye on the left side of its head, in between the index and middle 'fingers' of the fused hand.

All in all, it looked...

If Tsuyu was honest, it looked...

…It looked wrong.

"Wha-Wha-Wha-What the hell!?" Tsuyu exclaimed in fright.

The person(she thinks it's a male) staggered as the horrifying muffled cries came out of him. His free arm was reaching out to grab something, anything that it could get his hand on.

However, the light shown on the person's face blinded him a bit, as it paused for just a couple of brief seconds. And those seconds were all Tsuyu needed to get up and try to fight back. She almost stumbled back, but she got her balance in check and held the knife in front of her, the blade facing the person horizontally as she was ready to use it whenever necessary.

"S-Stay back!" Tsuyu warned him, preparing to swing the knife at the person.

The muffled yells continued as the man then lunged forward with his hand out straight at Tsuyu.

"AAH!" Tsuyu yelled as she swung the knife at him.

The blade hit the right hand of the man as Tsuyu sliced his palm. He screamed out a pained muffled cry as drops of blood emerged from the cut wound, the red substance splattering onto the floor. The person then flung his arm wildly, the blood dripping and being thrown around in every direction. Some specks of blood landed on Tsuyu's shirt and on her face.

She froze for just a moment upon feeling the small amount of liquid on her face, but she snapped out of it quickly, as she realized she injured this man.

The man kept screaming his muffled cries as he flailed his arm around. Turning his whole body to his left, he tried to recover from the slash as he swung his arm and hand up and down.

Tsuyu then saw this as an opportunity to escape.

She sped past the person and rushed to the doors, not once looking back. Pushing them through, she ran past the tables, knocking her shoulder into one of the upturned chairs and letting it fall off. Quickly getting an idea, she haphazardly knocked a few of the upturned chairs in order for it to have some kind of obstacle between her and this man.

Soon, she exited the restaurant and was out in the streets. Remembering the directions that Shigaraki told her, she went to the right and ran down the foggy street.

She kept running, holding the flashlight in her left hand as it lit her way, and having her knife to her right side as she runs.

What-What was that!? Was that a person? With a...With a weird Quirk!? His hand being fused with his face!? B-But, what does that do for a Quirk!? What kind of Quirk is that!? Who was that guy even!?

No answers came as she ran, so she just kept going. When she feels like she might have lost the man, she slowed down and soon stopped as she tried to catch her breath.

"Huff...huff...huff...huuuff...huff..." Tsuyu panted, "Man...that...that was...that was horrifying."

...The street went silent...

Tsuyu stood straight and regained her composure, taking a deep breath, "Okay, keep going. You don't want whatever that...I mean, whoever..." she shivered as she looked behind her, "...yeah, just keep going."

She sped up her walk a bit, letting the flashlight in her left hand show the way through the night fog, while the knife in her right hand was in her grasp, ready to use just in case she was going to have to fight someone.

The frog girl paused and glanced at the knife in her hand...

Gosh, I hope I don't have to...actually use this knife to...to...

Stab.

Tsuyu shook her head and kept going...

...Until she heard a faint sound.

Turning around quickly behind her, Tsuyu flashed the light on wherever the sound came from.

...All she could see was the fog, which the streetlights illuminated around her.

"..." Tsuyu gulped.

Please don't follow me...

...She turned back around forward and picked up her walking pace...

...Until the sound got even closer...sounding like...loud muffled screams...

Tsuyu froze in place.

What!? ...Wait...tha-that can't be...I-I left him back there!

The muffled screams kept going, stopping when it has a chance to let it all out again...

...The screams went louder...sounding like they were right in front of her...

...The frog girl felt uneasy, not knowing where to run at this point...

...Then she sees a figure in the fog.

It looked like...the figure looked like it belong to the same...person...that she encountered!

mmmph! mmmMMMMPH! MMMMMMMPH!

Tsuyu's eyes widened in horror.

Wait. You mean...wait, what!?

It was indeed another one.

The person that she encountered back at the restaurant was...back!?

...Wait...

...There was another figure appearing in the fog! It was behind the same guy!

It emitted muffled screams as well!

MMMMMPPPPHHH!

"T-...Two of them?" Tsuyu whispered in shock.

What...What ARE these things!?

They came closer to the girl. And that's when she realizes, she has to move. Now.

"G-Get away!" Tsuyu exclaimed at them. She ran around the monsters(she thinks? She doesn't know!) so they won't reach out to her, the monsters(whom she thinks she could probably call them Grabbers) screams all muffled out as their hands were fused onto their faces, covering their mouths that don't seem to exist in the first place. The Grabbers(who were wearing the same green jumpsuits like the last one) then went after her, reaching and stretching out their single arms to try and grab her, whether it be her arms, or even worse, her face.

She had brief flashbacks to that moment when that Shigaraki Villain almost used all five fingers on her face...she didn't know if they had that power, but...she was not going to wait and find out!

No! Don't let them get you! Don't let them get you!

Tsuyu tried to keep her distance from them when she was running around them, but they were still coming towards her! She swung her knife at them when they got close, but it seems the Grabbers kept their distance and hands away from the swings as they proceeded to go after her.

No! Get away from me!

She turned around quickly and almost tripped, but got her footing back on the ground. However, when doing that, one of the Grabbers grabbed a handful of her long bow-tied hair.

"ACK!" Tsuyu exclaimed, feeling a violent pull from behind her head. "NO! Let go! Let go!"

As she struggled to get out of its grasp, she turned around to her right with the knife in her hand and successfully stabbed the Grabber's extended arm.

"MMMMPPPPHHH!"

The Grabber let go of Tsuyu's hair as a gash was on its arm, blood leaking out of the wound.

The other Grabber didn't take too kindly to what she did to its friend, so it rushed over to her, extending its free arm forward as it tried to forcefully grab Tsuyu.

Seeing it was coming her way and getting closer, Tsuyu panicked and did the only instinctual thing a frog person would do in a desperate situation: attack and shoot the Grabber with her long frog tongue.

The tongue wrapped around the Grabber's arm, and soon it became a battle of strength as Tsuyu maneuvered her tongue in each direction so the monster wouldn't try to grab her. The Grabber swung his arm around, letting Tsuyu's tongue wobble around as it felt like it was stretching from all the pulling the monster was doing. The muscles in her tongue tightened as it held onto the Grabber's arm, while the monster used its unnatural strength to get the appendage off of it.

Seeing that it was stunned enough, Tsuyu swung her tongue to the left side, letting her tongue swing the Grabber's arm to its side. Upon releasing the arm, her tongue went back into her mouth(briefly hating to have the taste of whatever this thing was), turning around to run away from the two monsters.

Keep running! Keep running!

Tsuyu kept doing just that, not once looking back at those things.

As she ran, she remembered that she was supposed to find a street name.

Oh shit! Okay, Pattu Street, Pattu Street, Pattu Street! Where-

Looking up as she runs, she sees a street sign up ahead that says Pattu Street.

I found it!

She then took a left and kept running up the street.

Okay, two blocks...two blocks! Gotta count-

It was then, another Grabber, green jumpsuit and all, came up in front of her while she was running!

"OH SHIT, COME ON!" Tsuyu screamed as she hopped back away from its grasp.

"MMMPH!" the Grabber muffled out as it reached out for her.

Tsuyu kept her distance, and looked behind her just in case the others weren't following her…

...Which makes her think that she can see their two outlines coming through the fog.

Oh damn it!

She turned her attention to the Grabber in front of her and gritted her teeth in annoyance and anger. "Just let me go! I have to save my brother and sister!"

The Grabber didn't comply with that as it was still muffling out screams and reaching toward her.

She cursed as she tried to maneuver the Grabber, the monster guiding his arm to the girl. As she looked like she was almost out of ways reach, the monster then suddenly grabbed her knife arm.

"AH! NO!"

The grip of the monster was strong, almost like he was crushing it...

Shigaraki's hand was close to her face.

"No! No, no, no, NO! Let go!" Tsuyu exclaimed as she felt panic...

The wide-eyed look of terror as she realized...she was going to die.

"Let go! LET GO! LET GO!"

She was in shock. She couldn't move. She couldn't...she couldn't scream.

"I said, LET GO!"

Tsuyu then lifted her flashlight arm and brought the object down on the Grabber's extended arm.

WHAM!

"MMMPH!"

And the Grabber released her, clearly in pain from the hit.

Tsuyu booked it.

She ran...

And ran...

...And ran...

...She could hear them behind her, the faint muffled screams still present...

...She then came up to the exterior of the bowling alley.

Tsuyu's eyes widened in relief.

There!

She rushed over to the entrance of the bowling alley, Chinmoku Lanes. Upon seeing a pair of double doors, she tried to open them but found out that they were locked.

Shit! What do I-oh! The key!

Tsuyu held the knife in her left hand with the flashlight and dug into her pocket to get the key with the bowling ball chain on it. She hurriedly but steadily inserted the key to the lock of the doors, turned the key, and the doors were opened.

She entered the facility, a creaky whine coming from the door, along with the door slamming behind her. Not taking any chances, Tsuyu turned around to lock the doors with the knob, so the Grabbers won't come in.

Thanks to the flashlight(which she was thankful didn't break when she slammed it on that monster's arm), she can see that she was in the lobby of the bowling alley.

She carefully walked forward into the facility, looking around to see if there was anything that could be worth looking over. As of now, she can see a counter to her right, as well as some bowling lanes straight ahead. There were also a few classic arcade games to her left, and a little further to her right, she sees a concession stand. She briefly mused about finding the light switch in this place, but thought against it for now, as she didn't want to gain any attention from the Grabbers outside.

So with the flashlight and the knife both in her left hand, she surveyed her surroundings for anything unusual.

The unnerving quiet crept in as she walked, her shoes making what could be silent footsteps if anyone was ever here bowling. The silence that occupied this building seemed like a welcomed peaceful solace after all the chaos that happened outside. Although the darkness hadn't added any comfort to her situation. The poignant atmosphere always seems to somehow mess with people's minds about what lies beyond their vision.

As Tsuyu rounded the corner of the counter, she sees something on it. She flashed the light at the object.

...It was a pair of bowling shoes...

Looking at the shoes in confusion, Tsuyu got closer to them.

Upon getting closer, she saw something underneath the shoes...

...A note.

"..." Tsuyu reached for the note and pulled it under the shoes. Thanks to the flashlight, she read the note:

Thanks for bowling with me, Tsuyu! You're the best!

...No one signed the note.

"...What?" Tsuyu looked at the note in confusion.

...Why...Why does this handwriting...look fami-

RIIING! RIIING! RIIING!

"ACK!" Tsuyu gasped. Realizing what the sound was, she got Ochako's phone and opened it, knowing who it was at this point. "What is this!?"

"Oh, I just wanted you to remember the good times you had with your friends! Or at least, you know, one of them?"

"Huh? What do you..." Tsuyu's eyes widened, as she...remembered...

No...No, he couldn't...I mean, how could he even...he has to actually know me to know about-

"Okay, enough stalling. Now for the puzzle! As you can see, there are eight lanes, of course, and the toad you are looking for is in one of them-"

"How do you even know that?"

"Well, duh, I'm the one who set it up. Now-"

"No, I meant how do you even know about..." she gritted her teeth, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT!?"

"..."

"...ANSWER ME, YOU BASTARD!"

"...Keep playing the game."

For a shocked moment, Tsuyu thought his voice had changed...

"...Now, as I said before, one of the toads is in one of the lanes...the question is…which one?"

"..."

"...This is the part where you think. Think which lane you would normally choose...it has been a while, hasn't it? The good times with your friends..."

"..."

"...I'll leave you alone. Just do remember that your brother and sister are waiting for you...oh, and do get a map on the way out. I think there were some near the entrance to the bowling alley. Cause really, I don't intend to help you all the time with these puzzles, I want you to solve them all by yourself."

"...Who...Who are you?"

"...Why, I'm Shigaraki, little froggy girl...or, I could be whatever you want me to be."

A shiver ran down Tsuyu's spine...

"...Well, bye!"

He hung up.

...Tsuyu just closed the phone up and put it in her pocket. Turning to shine the flashlight at the bowling lanes...

...I'll...I'll worry about that later...I need to do this. To save...To save my brother and sister.

She shined the light on the fifth bowling lane, trying to remember...remember which lane she...

"...I...I think it's...the seventh lane..."

I always go with that lane for good luck...heh...I was superstitious back then.

She walked over there, the light illuminating her way, until she was at the seventh lane.

Once she was at the lane, she aimed the flashlight all the way back of it. The lane felt like a foreboding corridor of some kind...inviting her to continue venturing forward...with something waiting at the end of the hall...

...Tsuyu gulped.

Just...go on forward...

She took a step and walked onto the lane...

The lane felt solid, her footsteps echoing down the walkway and through the facility.

...They almost sounded haunting...

Don't stop...keep moving...

She kept walking all the way back to the lane...

...I mean...is this what he wanted me to do? Go...further...?

...She stopped, almost close to the end of the lane.

...She switches the knife in her right hand, just in case something might pop out of the bowling ball ditch at the end...

Still flashing the light at the end of the lane...she kept going...

...She positioned the knife in her right hand to put it in a stabbing position...

...She reached the end of it...

...Tsuyu looked down at the bowling ball gutter...

...There, laid a dead toad...

...

"...Okay...so I was right..." Tsuyu muttered.

She placed the flashlight down as she kneeled on the floor of the lane, reaching for the toad down at the gutter...

Once she got it, she held it in her hand, staring at it...

"...Man...I got to do this...sorry little guy..."

Tsuyu used the knife in her hand and cut open the toad's stomach...

Trying not to vomit as she felt like she can feel the body fluids coming down her hand, she got it open.

Scooting back, and placing the dead toad as well as the knife on the floor, she grabbed the flashlight and shined the light on the opened stomach of the amphibious corpse.

...She sees something inside the toad...

...She gulped, and reached for the object...

She paused, wondering if she can actually stick her fingers in the dead thing...

"...Just do it."

She shoved her fingers in there...and trying all her might not to hurl, she felt something inside. Quickly getting it out, Tsuyu pulled out the object.

...It was...

...A crumbled piece of paper?

Confused, Tsuyu recovered from the surgery she had to do, and unraveled the piece of paper.

...It was...a receipt...

...from McDonalds...

...On the receipt, it said:

ONE PLAIN DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER COMBO

ONE PACK McCHICKEN NUGGETS COMBO

"...That's...what..."

...What is going on?

...Ribbit...

Tsuyu shot up in surprise. Standing up, but not before getting the flashlight and knife, she aimed the flashlight behind her.

...No one was there...

"...Was I just-"

Ribbit.

Eyes widened, Tsuyu looked to her right.

...Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit...RIBBIT.

...Not liking that one bit, Tsuyu backs away from the lane she was in, light training on the end of the sixth lane...

...Something poked out of it.

She gasped.

...It hopped out of the gutter.

...Tsuyu's eyes widened, blinking to see if she was seeing things.

...The thing...was a human-skinned...frog...with two misshaped eyes...

...It croaked, the flap expanding as it did so. It had a mouth...

"...Uh...what...what are-"

Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit. RIBBIT.

...She heard more croaking...all around her...

Tsuyu looked around the bowling lanes, her flashlight lighting up the end of each of them.

Some more of these frog creatures came poking out...

...They soon jumped out of the gutters.

Gasping, she backed away from the frogs...

They were all coming out of the gutters...

One by one...

She glanced down at one of the frogs that popped out first. It was hopping her way over to her...

...The frog then did something unexpected.

It opened its mouth...and smiled...

...It smiled and showed its jagged razor-sharp teeth.

"..." Tsuyu's eyes widened further, "...Uh..."

...The frog then shot its tongue out at Tsuyu...right at her leg.

"Ah!" Tsuyu yelped as the appendage stuck to her.

Then, the frog pulled its tongue to drag her leg...

...Dragging it towards its mouth.

With its sharp jagged teeth shining in the light...

She realized what it was doing.

"ACK! Get away!" Tsuyu lifted her leg to shake off the Frogger(what the heck, she might as well call these things that) and soon, the shaking made the frog wobble around, causing it to retract its tongue back in its mouth.

Then, another tongue shot out and got her right arm.

"AH!" Tsuyu exclaimed.

She flashed the light to all the Froggers that were hopping their way over to her.

"NO!" she pulled her arm away forcefully, the Frogger being swung out of the way and letting go of her, landing in a lane side gutter.

And with that, she ran.

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!"

Tsuyu ran all the way back, struggling to keep herself away from the Froggers, hopping whenever she has to.

She could still hear them croaking in the background...

Running and hopping like no tomorrow, she almost made it to the doors, when she saw something to her left.

A brochure stand.

Then she remembered, "A map!"

She looked through it quickly, not wasting time to see if she can find one brochure that says "Map of Chinmoku". Seeing the word 'map', she got it quickly and ran out to the doors.

She pushed the doors...but they were locked.

"WHAT!? How-oh! Oh, right!" she hurriedly said as she was now about to twist the knob to unlock the doors.

The croaking seemed to get louder.

Not once looking back, she opened the doors and exited the bowling alley.

But she wasn't done yet.

She closed the doors as she was outside and hurriedly got the key to the bowling alley out of her pocket and quickly insert the key to the lock and locked the Froggers inside.

BUMP!

"AAH!" Tsuyu yelled out.

BUMP! BUMP! BUMP!

Backing away from the thumping doors, Tsuyu ran away from the bowling alley.

She ran, with the map and flashlight in the same hand, the knife in the other...

As she kept running, she sees an alleyway. Deciding to hide there for now, she rounded the alley and leaned against the wall, panting from adrenaline and exhaustion.

...All was silent...

Taking a deep breath of relief, Tsuyu eased her rushing worries...

Glancing down at the map, she lifted it up to her, and read the brochure.

MAP OF CHINMOKU

"...Good. I got the right one."

Tsuyu then opened the map to see where she needed to go...

...That receipt...it was at a McDonalds…

She tried to find the restaurant on the map...

...That was where...

She found one...

It was the only one in town...

"...I don't know what Shigaraki's game is...but I will save Samidare and Satsuki...I will save...them..."

...What is Shigaraki trying to do? ...Actually, how did Shigaraki...

"...I don't have time to think...I got to move."

And so, with renewed purpose, Tsuyu took a deep breath, poked her head out of the alley to see if anyone is around where she was, and exited the alleyway to go to her next location...

She followed the map to find it...

...Wherever this will lead her...

...she knows one thing...

...something's going on...

...and it involves her.

Wow, it's been a while, huh? Well, I was trying to plan this whole thing out, and I think I got it all in working order right now...so here's hoping it all goes well. XP

So yeah, we got to see what Tsuyu was going through! But what is ''Shigaraki' trying to hint? We'll just have to see! ;)

Next chapter, I am going to try to get to Shouto and Jirou! Tune in next time! XD
