Danger Out on the Open Road

The Stardust Crusader have gotten themselves a big vehicle like a van that can travel through the rough path out of India, and the road is gonna be a long one to travel.

Narrator: Now with a new set of wheels, Jotaro and his crew head north from Varanasi to the nation of Pakistan.

"Okay everyone, we're about to reach the boarder of India. Better not have any last-minute thoughts about wanting to stay for a little while longer." Makiko informed while she is the one driving the car.

"I believe we're all good here." Tomo said.

"You know, I had mix feelings about the country at first, but I actually kind of miss the hustle and bustle of Kolkata and for the chaos of the Ganges." Joseph admitted.

"I know what you mean, the country was really something with all the people crowding us for service and the sights were to behold." Tori smiled.

"If you do not count the recent Stand attacks and losing one of our comrades, then this trip would have been a bit more emotional." Horizon pointed out about Avdol's death.

Everyone became silence for a moment when Horizon mentioned Avdol's death at the hand of the enemy Stand User of the Hanged Man, but they were able to help his soul rest in peace after dealing with that evil man.

"I'll be coming back again, one of these days. I owe it all to Avdol. Hopefully to give him a proper burial." Polnareff promised.

"I'm sure he would apricate that." Tomo smiled.

"Losing someone close to you is really hard, isn't it?" Anne asked, looking sad and worried.

"Is it, death isn't always easy to defeat when it comes for you whether it's due to old age, illness, murder or even accidents, but it isn't something to fear. Death can give meaning to life, it's all the matter of understanding it." Kimi stated calmly with a smile.

"Wow, that… surprisingly deep coming from you of all people." Anne surprised.

"I do have my moments." Kimi giggled.

"She really does, but sometimes those moments are rare." Jotaro said, Kimi just giggles and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Heads up, the road is getting narrower." Polnareff informed.

"I know, and there's also a slow car in the way. And the driver is really slow." Makiko spotted the slow car up ahead.

The car is not only slow, but the dust from the road is also going up to the Crusader's car which got everyone to cough up and Makiko quickly pulls up the window.

"What the Hell is with this guy driving so slow?" Polnareff asked, feeling a bit irritated of this slow driver.

"I don't know, maybe he has some stupid fear of driving fast like my Uncle Jackie when he lost his left pinkie toe." Makiko mentioned, scratching her head a little.

"I fear we might not be able to make good timing if we have to be behind that driver any longer." Nate pointed out since they're in a hurry to save Jotaro's mother.

"Well, it's a good thing I know the best way to get us past that slowpoke." Makiko smirked.

"I'm not liking the look in your eyes." Kakyoin felt worried about this.

"Now, now, Makiko, I don't think we need to do anything drastic right now." Tomo tried to reason with the woman, but she doesn't appear to be listening at the moment.

"I'm going to drive us over that car!" Makiko announced loudly, much to everyone's shock and horror.

"Wait just a fucking minute here, how are you even going to" Joseph's sentence was cut off when Makiko started moving the car side to side.

"What are you doing?!" Jotaro yelled while hanging onto Kimi.

"What else? I'm going to make this car go over that guy!" Makiko answered with loud excitement in her tone.

"Are you crazy?!" Anne screamed.

Makiko keeps on swaying the car left and right and left again and right again, everyone is scared that the van is gonna get total because of this crazy stunt the woman is about to do and they might be in for a full-body treatment after this.

"Uh-oh, looks like we're about to run out of sides to sway on." Makiko noticed up ahead.

"But no matter, it's time!" Makiko smirked.

Makiko made a sharp turn on the wheel going up to the rocky right side with enough force to have the car drive sideway and right over the other car, everyone screams in fear that they might die together.

But Makiko knew better that everything is going to work out just fine as she kept driving on the cliffside until she drove the car back down.

Makiko looks at the rearview mirror to see the slow car is right behind them now.

"See, everything is alright." Makiko smiled.

"Y-Yeah, alright… aside my bones kept shaking." Tori said with his voice shaken up.

"By all things holy, Makiko! How in the world did you even get your driver license?" Nate asked with a fierce angry face.

"I just did the driving course and followed my instructor like everyone else. Of course, that was the normal driving class before I went for the extreme driving course like race cars and other extreme driving stuff." Makiko explained.

"Yeah, that definitely explains a lot." Polnareff said while trying to hold himself in to prevent the vomit from coming out.

"Damn it, Makiko! Were you trying to kill us!" Jotaro yelled.

"I believe until we make the next stop for a break, we shall never let Makiko drive again like how we forbid Mr. Joestar from ever flying a plane." Kimi stated.

"Hey! Why are you bringing me into this?" Joseph asked shock.

"Do you think the slow driver got spooked from that crazy stunt as well?" Nate asked.

"I would think so, though perhaps due to him driving so that he didn't see us make the landing." Horizon pointed out.

"Anyway, let just keep going forward. Maybe we can do a little road trip game along the way." Kakyoin suggested.

However, what the Stardust Crusaders don't why is that the slow driver isn't mad or spooked from the stunt in the slightest almost like he wanted them to pass for something else, he drives a little faster to catch up to them.

The scene changes to Kimi giving Anne a fingernail paint job despite all the little bumping and rough condition of the road, she is doing so perfectly.

"There, a skill on her index finger." Kimi smiled.

"Wow, it looks so cool! Maybe I was worried about doing my nails when I get older, but it actually looks fun!" Anne amazed.

"I'm surprised you can still that while we're in a moving car." Tori admitted.

"That's because I had years of practice, little brother." Kimi smiled.

"How come you keep calling him "Little Brother" when you two are about the same age?" Anne asked.

"Twins." Tori and Kimi answered at the same time.

"I came out first, so that makes him the younger twin." Kimi explained as Tori nodded.

"Oh, that make sense now." Anne said.

But then, Makiko notices something coming at them from behind as she looks at the mirror to see that it's the same car from before driving up to them and beep the horn a few times to get their attention.

"It would appear the same car from before is in a hurry now and wants to pass." Horizon pointed out.

"How odd, why would he want to go fast when he was driving slow earlier?" Nate wondered.

"I don't know, but I say we let him past. We don't want to make an enemy out of the normal." Joseph advised.

"If you say so." Makiko moved her left arm out the window to signal the driver to pass them.

The car drove next to them and then ahead only to go slower again causing the group's car to slow down too.

"What the hell?" Polnareff confused, and the dust started coming in.

"What's he trying to do? We let him pass, now hurry up and go already!" Polnareff demanded.

"Maybe he was spooked by the stunt you did and is trying to teach you a lesson." Kakyoin theorized.

"What? But I barely touched the guy and he was pretty far behind from us earlier." Makiko doubted that could be the reason.

"Did you at least get a good look at the driver?" Jotaro asked his second girlfriend.

"No way, the side windows were covered in dust, and I mean lots of dust. Like the guy haven't washed his car in months or even years." Makiko explained.

"Still, that driver sure is a cocky one." Tori commented.

"Do you think this guy could be a Stand User?" Tori asked.

"That could be a possible, but there is no sure way of knowing that." Horizon stated.

The window of the slow and dusty car roll down and a hand came out signaling them to past him now.

"Oh, looks like he wants us to pass him." Makiko surprised.

"He must've realized how shitty that piece of junk is. You shouldn't stay behind us the first time, dumbass!" Polnareff mocked.

Makiko drove the van passing the driving though she's get a strange feeling that his driver was up to something for having to slow down on purpose, and suddenly a big trunk came out of nowhere.

"Where'd that come from?!" Polnareff gasped.

"Hold on, I got this!" Makiko summoned her Stand.

"Real Amazon!" Makiko shouted as Real Amazon took on the full impact force of the truck and pushed the van to the side as Makiko stomped on the break. And the truck also got crash and forced on the sideline.

"Is everybody alright?" Makiko asked.

"Yeah, we're still in one piece." Tori said giving a thumbs up.

"Man, if it wasn't for Real Amazon's power, we would've been crush beneath that truck like a tin can." Polnareff panted.

"Damn it, I don't think it was a mere accident that we almost got hit by the truck." Makiko believed with serious in her eyes.

"You mean to say the driver was trying to get us crushed by the incoming truck?" Horizon asked.

"Speaking of the driver, I don't see the car anywhere." Nate looked outside and not a single sight of the car.

"The car must've kept going. If what Makiko says is true, then that could mean the drive might've been an enemy Stand User sent by DIO." Jotaro theorized.

"But if that's true, then didn't he simply attack us when he had the chance?" Kakyoin wondered about that.

"Maybe it's because that driver knew we would survive and is waiting for us ahead up." Kimi guessed.

"So much for a relaxing road trip." Nate sighed.

"Anyway, we gotta keep heading to Pakistan. Be on guard, if someone comes after us again, we'll make them eat our dust." Joseph advised.

"You got it, but I'm a little worried about the truck. Should we call a pickup truck to come and get it?" Makiko asked, looking at the truck damage to the front.

"Not to worry, I have already called for the pickup truck, aand one will be arriving in one hour or so." Horizon informed holding up her phone.

"Nice one, Horizon! I always knew you were my beautiful angel!" Tori smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

"Guess that takes care of that, better get going." Jotaro said.

And with that, Makiko drives the van away from the scene to continue their path for Pakistan.

(With the Mysterious Car)

The mysterious dusty car arrives at the fork road with the sign that says "Pakistan" on a green arrow sign pointing at the left road, but the mysterious car bumps onto the pole causing the green sign to point on the right road.

Almost like it wanted some fools like Jotaro's group to take the wrong turn.

(Back with Jotaro's Group)

"Hey, can we step out for a bit? My legs are feeling sleepy, and I need to be in top shape." Nate asked while rubbing her right leg.

"Oh look, a roadside tea stand." Joseph spotted a small stand up ahead next to the road.

Makiko parks the car close to the shop and everyone steps out with Nate stretching her legs and taking in that fresh air.

"A break would do us some good." Joseph said, feeling relief of this.

"This should also help us get our minds off from that crazy driver when he tried to lead us to our doom." Kimi added.

The tea stand is small like a café with fewer people minding their own business as Jotaro and the others are looking around for a bit, and some see a man pushing a sugarcane between two rollers squeezing some juice out.

"Excuse me, sir, but is that sugarcane juice you're making?" Tomo asked curiously.

"Indeed, it is, young lady. Would you and your friends like to try some?" The owner of the tea stand offered to make them some cups.

"Sure, why not." Joseph accepted this.

Joseph paid for himself, Tomo, and Horizon. But then the emotionless face girl notices something on the reflection of her cup.

"Huh, it looks like there is a car that looks exactly like the one from before parking near that tree." Horizon said, and the Stardust Crusaders gasped upon hearing this.

"She's right! It's him!" Polnareff confirmed as he points at the car.

Jotaro and some of the others walked over to the car though carefully as they didn't want the risk of running into a trap, but when Tori looks into the car, he found it empty.

"It's empty, there's no one inside." Tori shrugged.

"Hey, tell me something. Who's the owner of that car over there! Come on, spill it!" Joseph demanded to know which got the attention of some men.

"I don't know, sir. To be honest, sir, I never seen that car come here before." The owner said.

"The driver isn't going come out and make an announcement." Kakyoin stated as the enemy Stand Users like to keep themselves well hidden.

"He's messing with us!" Polnareff angered of this game.

"Calm down, everyone. I'm sure there's a proper way to solve this." Tomo said.

"Hey, what about bringing your Stands out to see if any of these guys can see them." Anne suggested.

"A wonderful idea, Anne. If the enemy Stand User saw our Stands, then he would have to react or something." Tori smiled as he snapped his fingers.

Everyone agreed to the plan and summoned their Stands and even having them stand in front of the users, but none of the men here reacted at all and one or two looked very confuse of what those people are doing.

"None of them are reacting to our Stand, which means none of them are the Stand Users." Nate pointed out.

"But that would mean he's not here." Joseph realized.

An engine noise can be heard from behind, having the group turned around to see the car parked at the tree is starting up and one muscular arm is shown out of the window for a second before owner of that car drove off.

"Oh my, it looks like he was hiding inside the car the entire time." Kimi realized with a giggling smile, but she is really mad on the inside.

"Yep, we've been played." Tori nodded.

"Did anyone see his face?" Joseph asked.

"No, we only saw his arm and his face was pretty well hidden. But I don't think I wanna wait a around and find out." Makiko said as she dashes for the van.

"Then we better go faster him. Full speed ahead!" Jotaro commanded.

Makiko started the van and drove at the fullest speed to catch up with the smaller car as they headed up road, but they can't seem to get any closer to the car.

"Damn it, I can't get any closer. That car is a lot faster than it appears." Makiko grunted.

The two cars went up to the fork road and drove onto the right road, where the mysterious car changed the sign to get them off course which is working perfectly for the mysterious driver.
