Chapter 42: Snakes in the Grass! Creeping Shadows!

(6/2, Early Morning)

(Shibuya, Scramble Crossing)

The streets of the Shibuya's famous Scramble Crossing were crowded with people as always, hundreds of people mindlessly walking to school or their jobs.

However, among the loads of people, four girls were ready to slither around the city like snakes in grass...

The first one was the oldest appearing one with blonde hair that is curled at the ends with a large pink bow on top and green eyes as she was wearing a pink halter top with a white overcoat with denim jeans and heeled sandals.

The second surprisingly had dark green medium length hair with yellow snake like eyes as she wore a yellow t-shirt with a green hoodie as she had the hood up to show cat eat like attachments along with ripped jeans and a pair of brown loafers.

The third also had blonde hair, but her's was much lighter in color and longer as it was down to her back along with a green hair clip and green eye while she was wearing a pink frill dress with a bow while also having a lavender colored short coat over it with tan colored socks and pink loafers with small heels.

The last girl of the group was the shortest one by far as she had long black straight hair that was done in two pigtails and red eyes, though one was covered by an eyepatch as she was wearing a yellow cap atop her head while also wearing a black t-shirt with a white skirt, white knee long socks and red boots.

And all of them had incredibly well-developed figures...except for...

"Welp, this sucks." Mirai bluntly got out in annoyance.

"What do you mean by that Mirai-chan?" Yomi innocently asked in confusion.

"I was in the middle of something, and now I have to go around Tokyo for what might amount to nothing." The childish-looking girl replied with a huff. "And I know Homura wouldn't betray us - betray the Academy!" She then added.

"Crowded." Hikage meanwhile bluntly stated as she hand her hands in the pockets of the hoodie she was wearing.

"Well, that's Tokyo for you." Haruka stated in amusement as she pulled out her school-issued phone from the purse she had over her shoulder. "Remember our mission. We must ensure that Homura-chan is doing her job over the course of this week, as well as observe her cute little student." She then instructed

"And kill her if she isn't." Hikage added.

"I really do not want to though..." Yomi muttered out.

"None of us do." Hikage then stated. "But it's an order, and you know what happens to anyone who doesn't obey." She soon reminded.

Two of the Hebijo shinobis quickly winced and placed their hands on their leashes to the school.

"In any case, Haruka-sama! Yomi-oneechan! Why am I dressed like a little kid!?" Mirai exclaimed in frustration as she was wearing an outfit akin to an elementary school girl's uniform complete with a backpack.

"Because they were only clothes that could fit you Mirai." Haruka reminded in amusement while playing with the yellow hat on the girl's head.

"Grr..." Mirai growled out in annoyance. "I have my own clothes, you know!" She then reminded.

"And Homura-chan might recognize them if she sees you." Haruka countered.

Hikage couldn't help but notice however that the first year still had her eyepatch. "Haruka and her obsession with dress-up dolls..." She thought to herself while blinking.

"Well, whatever the case is, we have to gather evidence so I say let's split up." Yomi suggested. "Two of us go and check her apartment and the other two ask around her school." She then added.

"I suggest Mirai and Hikage search her apartment then." Haruka got out. "I don't think you two can fit in with normal civilians." She then informed.

"What!? I can pass off as a high school student dammit!" Mirai countered in an offended tone.

"What has the world come to?" A condescending passerby scoffed out at the sight of the four.

"Yeah, they can let anyone adopt a child." Their stupid posh friend agreed. "They are corrupting the youth." They then added.

Hikage blinked at that before shrugging.

"Haruka-sama, Yomi-oneechan..." Mirai growled in frustration. "Just...search the school please." She then requested.

"Gladly." Haruka replied with a smile before remembering. "Oh, and remember to bug the place. Suzune-sensei didn't give us these hidden cameras for nothing. That way, we'll know what Homura-chan does there." She then reminded and explained. "Now then, disperse." She soon ordered.

To that, the four girls nodded as they split up into groups of two, Hikage with Yomi and Haruka with Mirai.

"Hm, I wonder what Homura-chan is doing right now..." Yomi soon asked in a curious manner with a tilt of her head. She could only imagine the lengths Homura would go to complete her mission.

(Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

The two roommates were already dressed in their school uniforms as they were getting some last minute preparations.

"Um...Sis...?" Homura called out from the bathroom in a nervous and awkward tone.

"Yes, Homu-nee?" Asuka replied as she checked her school bag.

"Uh...We're out of toilet paper..." Homura informed. "...You do the shopping or should I?" She then asked.

"I'll do it after school." Asuka replied.

"Okay. Now..." Homura muttered out as she began to sweat. "Um, do you mind throwing me something I can use as toilet paper?" She then requested.

"H-Huh? O-Oh...Um...you know what, let me go get it right now! Be back in a sec!" Asuka panickingly responded.

WHOOSH! SLAM!

"Thank you!" Homura replied as she heard the door slam shut while she sat on the toilet.

Just another humorous morning in the life of Asuka Shirokage and Homura Shinkukage.

(Ginza Line)

Akira rolled his shoulders and rubbed his sore jaw as he waited for the train. He really hoped no one at school would notice the slight limp he had. He did not want to deal with teachers thinking he got into a fight.

Which was technically true, but not like he could tell the truth.

Akira then snapped out of his thoughts as he saw a familiar ash blonde walk up to him, looking like she just went through hell.

"Hey, Ann." Akira greeted before looking at the exhausted girl. "You ok? You look like you just ran away from murder geese." He soon asked.

"Ugh, my legs still feel like lead." Ann whined as she hit her thigh in a futile attempt to make her legs feel normal.

"Homura training?" Akira guessed.

"Homura torture." Ann corrected with a groan. "Is this gonna be a regular thing?" She soon asked.

"If I have the money. It's to get us stronger." Akira answered and reminded. "Come on, I'll treat you to some sweets if you can show me something you couldn't do before." He then offered.

"You can't tempt me with just sweets-" Ann began, but...

"And an all-expenses-paid shopping spree...within a reasonable limit of 100,000 yen." Akira however interrupted.

The ash blonde's eyes immediately widened to that. "...Tell Homura to train me more." Ann all but ordered with an excited grin on her face and a gleam in her eyes.

"Today then?" Akira asked.

"Still recovering." Ann reminded. "But soon. You better start saving, Leader." She then added. "I can also give Homura more training herself." She then added in her head.

"Already have." Akira chuckled out as the train arrived.

(6/2, Lunchtime)

(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

The apartment was quiet and clean. Not a single pest scurried across the floor, and neither a sound or light remained apart from the sun shining through the window.

However, that window suddenly opened.

Mirai panted as she climbed through the window and flopped onto the floor.

THUD!

"Why does...she have to live...so high up...?" Mirai soon asked. "Stupid...backpack..." She grumbled out in frustration as she pushed herself up...

Click!

...Just as Haruka opened the door into the apartment.

"Aw, that's cute. You didn't think about going through the front door." Haruka cooed out as she put away her lockpick.

Mirai's eye in response twitched to the question, but knew not to speak out against the girl.

"Come on and get up now." Haruka all but ordered as she closed the door behind her before looking around. "I'm surprised Homura-chan hasn't set up any security measures, though it could be that her roommate might set them off." She then deducted.

"Heeeeee, so this is Homura's apartment." Mirai got out as she looked around. "...Wow, is her roommate an interior decorator or something?" She then asked in a curious manner.

"Actually it appears she's a model." Haruka replied as she picked up a nearby magazine, left open to show the page with the brunette mentioned modelling in it. "And she's quite the looker too~" She then added in an intrigued manner with a grin on her face.

Mirai then looked at the magazine as the brunette was posing before pouting. "Dammit...she's big too..." She mumbled out with obvious envy.

"Ma, ma Mirai, no need to pout about it." Haruka replied as she began petting the other girl's head. "Still, to think Homura-chan had a roommate like this, it certainly pays the rent I bet." She then added in an impressed tone.

"You know, I'm actually glad Yomi-oneechan went to Homura's school. She would destroy this place in a second..." Mirai soon pointed out. "Suzune-sensei really got Homura a nice place." She then added.

"True, but remember, we're not here to admire their apartment." Haruka replied. "We're here to search. Remember to put back everything once we're done. We don't want her to suspect there was a break-in." She reminded and ordered.

"Hai." Mirai replied with a nod. "Alright, what secrets are you hiding, Homura?" She then asked herself in a curious manner as they began to go through the apartment.

The third year then noticed the wall decorations. "She really mounted her shintai and scrolls, huh." Haruka remarked.

"Think she wanted to make the apartment more homey?" Mirai meanwhile asked.

"If she and her roommate thinks training swords and the three sizes of Suzune-sensei makes it feel more homey." Haruka replied in amusement. "That, or this Asuka girl's an otaku." She then added with a giggle.

"Well it is part of Homura's cover." Mirai admitted as she walked around. "I wonder how she's been adjusting to civilian life. All she ever did was train and fight in her free time back in Hebijo except those times we took her out." She then reminded.

"Well, she'd probably be going stir crazy from the lack of combat or put her energy into a new hobby like..." Haruka started before trailing off.

"Like?" Mirai repeated with a raised eyebrow.

"Give me a minute." Haruka got out as she frowned in thought.

"Let's just check the bedroom..." Mirai soon decided as she looked for the room.

It didn't take long to find it, however, and began snooping around.

"Hm, a single futon, how interesting." Haruka started as she examined the bedroom. "I guess she wanted to keep the other as a spare." She then deducted.

"Why would they, though?" Mirai muttered out before checking the closet and seeing all the clothes within it. "Yeah, Yomi would definitely flip..." She then stated as she looked at the expensive looking silver dress as she touched it. "Whoa, this is some good quality stuff." She soon muttered as the third year walked up to the closet.

"Mirai. Look closer." Haruka however got out in a serious tone as she pushed away the clothes.

"What? It's just the back of the closet." Mirai replied in confusion.

"Look underneath the underneath, Mirai." Haruka pointed out, making the smaller girl narrow her single visible eye.

Now that she looked a little closer, there was a faint seam in the middle. Probably wouldn't notice due to the low light and even then you'd need a good eye to see it.

Was there...Was there a false back in the closet?

Haruka managed to dig her fingernails into the small seam and managed to make it wide enough to fit her fingers in. Then she pushed the false back away, revealing a hole cut into the wall. And within it was a lone navy blue duffle bag.

"What the..." Mirai whispered to herself as she pulled out the duffle bag to fully study it. It looked pretty worn, but there were cuts and tears that seemed more recent. "Homura didn't have a duffle bag when she left." She pointed out as she opened it up.

Haruka then spotted something on the inside of the bag, written in black marker. "Property of Ryuji Sakamoto." She read out.

"Did she...Did she steal this from school?" Mirai wondered out loud.

"Look at this." Haruka got out as she dug through the duffel bag. "Medicine, drugs, food..." She listed off as examined everything that was inside. "Oh, this is some good quality medicine and drugs too..." She got out in an impressed manner.

"Guns!?" Mirai gasped out before narrowing her eyes. "No wait, these are fake. Model guns. They just had the orange tip taken off..." She then added while shaking her head.

"Yes, and other weapons. A katana, a scimitar...a whip? Ooh~ Didn't think Homura-chan would be into this type of thing." Haruka declared in a fascinated and excited tone, her imagination running wild with a gleam in her eyes.

"Haruka-sama..." Mirai muttered in concern. "Shouldn't we be questioning why Homura is hiding all this? Apart from the medicine and food, why would she need all this stuff?" She soon asked in confusion.

"Hmm...We should discuss with the others about that." Haruka soon suggested as she pulled out her phone and took some pictures. "Now let's put it back. We don't want Homura thinking we rummaged through her panties." She then instructed.

"...Should we rummage through her panties then?" Mirai then asked.

"Let's." Haruka replied in amusement while zipping up and placing the duffle back in the fake wall before closing it up.

Soon, Mirai felt like a pervert as she and her teammate dug through the drawer full of panties.

"Hmm, looks like she's enhanced her sense of fashion." Haruka admitted in an impressed tone as she stretched a red pair of panties between her fingers. "And she's becoming bolder." She then added in amusement.

"There's an awful lot of green, red, black and white though...and a lot of cute outfits too." Mirai noted while holding up the crimson pair of lace panties and looking at it intensely. "But there's nothing here really incriminating..." She then added while playfully stretching them. "Man, Homura's got some feminine underwear now..." She thought to herself.

"We should move on then." Haruka soon decided as they placed the undergarments back before they continued exploring the bedroom. "And here's the bathroom." She started as she looked around.

"Wow, it's a lot nicer than I was expecting..." Mirai admitted before sniffing the air. "Mmm~ What a nice scent. Guess they've been using good soaps." She then admitted and deducted.

"Well, maybe we can find out what they use." Haruka soon suggested as she got a closer look while her fellow shinobi searched the space under the sink.

"That's a lot of fancy shampoo..." Mirai noted as she pulled out the bottles.

"Well, they wouldn't mind if a few bottles went missing..." Haruka decided as she swiped the pink shampoo bottle. "Oooh~ These are some good brands." She then added while opening it and took a whiff. "Oooh~ That smells exquisite~" She got out while feeling a shivering running down her spine.

"I don't think we can find anything here." Mirai sighed out. "We should start putting up the cameras before Homura comes back." She then suggested as she gave a few hidden cameras to the temporary leader.

"Way ahead of you." Haruka replied as she began placing them around the apartment, starting with...

"Why are you putting a camera in the bathroom Haruka-sama!?" Mirai exclaimed.

"No stone unturned, Mirai." Haruka simply answered, though was amused by the reaction. "If you need me to reach a high place, I'll be glad to help." She then offered.

"...Thank you." Mirai got out as she went to the kitchen.

After they finished installing the cameras, they quickly pulled out their phones and did a quick check to see if they were working. There was one in the bathroom, four in the living room, two in the bedroom and five in the kitchen. They all had a two second delay but it was recording flawlessly.

"So, what do we know so far from just looking around the apartment Haruka-sama?" Mirai soon asked.

"Well, my best guess is that she's in a relationship with her roommate and they have some unique fetishes or she's preparing for war." Haruka answered in a semi-joking tone. "Either way, we'll find out what she's really doing soon with all the cameras we've set up." She then added.

"I guess so. Let's get out of here." Mirai got out with a nod. "Hopefully we'll find out something. Those cameras might be our key into finding out what Homura's actually doing." She then added.

"Well, let's head to the safe house." Haruka replied as they left the apartment.

Though they didn't notice the magazine carelessly left on the table.

(?)

Within a darkened room, an oranged haired girl was typing away on her computer before adjusting her glasses.

"Hello...~ What's this?" The playful hacker got out in an interested tone. She was detecting several signals from a certain shinobi's apartment. "People trying to bug their hideout, eh? Well, I guess I'll just take that for myself then and redirect the spies. Mwhehehe~" They then decided in amusement.

(6/2, After School)

(Shujin Academy, Classroom)

RING RING RING!

"Blah blah blah homework blah blah blah don't step out of line blah blah go home." The teacher got out before leaving the classroom.

"...Did the teacher just say blah blah blah then leave?" A student asked in confusion.

Her friend stared at her for a good three seconds before responding. "...Huh?" Her friend mumbled out.

"Ah...another invigorating lesson." Akira yawned out as he stretched his limbs. "Alright, what's on the docket today?" He thought.

Homura was already leaving for her committee stuff, so she's out. Ann still seemed dead tired, so maybe she was better off going home to rest. So that only left Asuka and Ryuji.

"Hey." Akira got out just as the brunette put away her phone. "Are you free today?" He soon asked.

"Sorry, Akira-kun, but I just got called by my modeling job for a gig. I can't spend time with you today." Asuka apologised.

"No, that's okay." Akira assured. "Probably for the best. I don't feel comfortable getting in the way of Asuka's life so frequently. I should wait a bit before I ask her to hang out again." He thought.

"Well, I gotta go. See ya tomorrow." Asuka got out as she left the classroom.

"I guess I'll hang out with Ryuji." Akira thought before leaving the classroom as well.

(Aoyama-Itchome, Subway Station)

"Now arriving at Aoyama-Itchome." The announcer announced as the train pulled up to the station, stopped, and opened their doors...only for two girls to flop out, landing face first on the ground as many Shujin students and other passerbys walked around them to step on.

Eventually, the two girls pushed themselves up to their feet. "I thought I was going to die!" Yomi panted out as she tried to catch her breath. "This is the right station, right?" She soon asked.

"Probably." Hikage simply replied while shrugging her shoulders.

"Urgh...We should've just come here on foot..." Yomi groaned. "We could've saved money." She then muttered.

"We do have money for the train back, right?" Hikage then asked, only to get silence as a response. "Walking it is I guess." She soon decided.

"Mmm..." Yomi groaned out. "Well, we better find Homura-chan then." She then suggested.

"Hai." Hikage replied with a nod as the two headed out towards the school.

(Shujin Academy, Disciplinary Committee Board Room)

The committee members spilled into the room, ready to discuss and work together as usual.

"Ok everyone, give me your reports." Homura instructed in a mature tone.

"Hai!" All the committee members replied in unison as they all handed the tan skinned girl some papers.

Nodding to this, Homura sat down at her desk as she began looking through all of them. "Thank you everyone, feel free to continue with your duties for now." She then requested.

"Yes ma'am!" The committee members replied as they started to head out.

"Hmm, I could hang out with one of my committee members today." Homura soon thought, remembering that all her friends were occupied at the moment.

The big question of the Disciplinary Head however was simple, who should she hang out with for the day since all her friends were busy?

"Where is Ichiko!?" Homura demanded, her eye twitching to see that she wasn't here, again.

"Uh...actually, she has a dentist appointment." Naomi informed. "And that she doesn't care." She then added.

"Ugh! She can't keep doing this! What do I need to get her to start coming for meetings?" Homura groaned out in a frustrated manner.

"Well...she says that she doesn't want to be associated with someone so unpopular..." Sora answered.

"...That's just great..." Homura mumbled out. "Looks like I have to improve the image of the committee." She soon thought to herself with a sigh. "Hmm...I guess I'll patrol the Practice Building..." She soon decided before leaving the clubroom.

(Practice Building, First Floor Hallway)

The tan skinned girl soon began walking down the hallways. "I did not know Shujin had this many clubs..." Homura admitted as she looked in through the windows. "Actually, I'm surprised they even have clubs after everything that happened. I assumed Principal Fattywipe poured most of the budget into sports." She then muttered.

"Fatty-what?" A familiar voice got out in confusion.

"AH!" Homura yelped out as she turned around to see it was one of her committee members. "Daigo-san! U-Uh...good afternoon." She soon greeted.

The boy however snickered to that. "It's alright Homura, I'm not exactly a fan of the principal ether." Daigo revealed with a smirk.

"Thanks, but uh...don't go spreading that around. I have to um..." Homura awkwardly started.

"Kiss his ass for now?" Daigo guessed.

"Yeah, but a little less vulgar." Homura replied with a shiver.

"Uh, sorry for putting that image into your head." Daigo quickly apologized.

"It's ok." Homura responded as she sighed. "Getting a bit thirsty. You up for a drink?" She then offered.

"Yeah, sure." Daigo replied as the two headed out.

(Courtyard)

As soon as they made it to the vending machines and paid for the drinks, the two were chugging down the cans with gusto.

"Wow, you downed that in ten seconds flat." Daigo remarked.

"Uh...Thank you?" Homura got out with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't worry, it's a compliment." Daigo informed in an amused tone.

"So Daigo-san, be honest with me," Homura started. "What made you want to join the committee if you heard about the...reputation I have?" She soon asked while throwing out the can.

"Well..." Daigo started as he sat down. "I just wanna do good, you know. I felt terrible after finding out what Kamoshida did to the volleyball team so I decided to join despite your reputation." He soon explained.

"Well that's good to hear." Homura sighed out in relief. "And as you can see, I am not some violent psychopath. I'm just someone who wants to make the school a better place. I've just been through some stressful situations at the time..." She then added.

"Yeah, I won't pry." Daigo replied as he threw out his can. "...So, I heard you're leaving at the end of the year, right?" He then asked.

Homura however blinked to hearing that. "...Where did you hear about this?" She soon asked before groaning. "...Let me guess. He's a second year, has dyed blond hair and a loudmouth." She groaned out.

Daigo in turn raised an eyebrow in response. "How did you know?" He soon asked.

"I guessed." Homura deadpanned. "Why are you asking me about this?" She soon asked.

"Well...since you'll be leaving then, we're gonna need someone to take over." Daigo pointed out. "So...How about we start searching for a new candidate for next year's Committee Head?" He then suggested.

"...You're not trying to take over the committee, are you?" Homura got out in a suspicious tone.

"Can't. I'm a third year." Daigo replied while shaking his head. "Still, I promise to ensure the future of this school." He soon declared

"Well, I promise to make sure this school stays better long after I'm gone." Homura stated with a smile as she could feel his commitment and determination.

I am thou, thou art I.

As to forge a new path in crimson flame,
the vow has been
made.

With the secrets of the Emperor by your side,
the forge for a new
path will be formed.

Granting great power in return.

RANK UP! EMPEROR RANK 1!

Homura soon raised an eyebrow to hearing that. "Emperor? Like Yusuke?" She thought to herself in a curious manner.

"Uh...You okay?" Daigo asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Wha? What?" Homura got out as she snapped out of her thoughts.

"You sort of spaced out there. You okay?" Daigo replied and asked once more.

"Er, yeah." Homura quickly got out as she shook her head. "Sorry, I...I've been studying later than usual. I guess I'm a bit tired." She then informed.

"Well, you better head home for the day. I'll see you again." Daigo replied.

"You too Daigo-san." Homura replied as she stood up and headed out. "Well, that was quick. Hmm...Guess I'll go grab something to eat before I head home." She then decided as she left the school...

Not noticing the blonde and green-haired girls in Shujin uniforms looking around the corner.

"Heeeh~ Looks like Homura-chan's getting along well with others." Yomi stated in a fascinated manner. "Looks like this mission is making her more of a people person." She then added.

"Well at least she's doing good keeping up her cover." Hikage then pointed out. "Also saw her grades on the last exam she had, top ten for her." She soon added.

"Huh, that's different then when she was back at Hebijo." Yomi got out in an impressed manner.

"Yeah..." Hikage replied with a nod. "Hey, have you noticed something...weird about this school?"

"Eh?" Yomi responded in confusion. "What do you mean Hikage-san?" She soon asked.

"I don't think WE'LL STEAL YOUR HEART is a normal school project." Hikage pointed out as she jerked her thumb over her shoulder.

"Huh?" Yomi replied as she tilted to her head to see the graffiti covered hallways. "...H-How did we miss that?" She soon asked.

"You were that focused on Homura-san." Hikage replied in a simple tone. "And I didn't. I asked around and apparently this group called the Phantom Thieves did this. They apparently covered the school with calling cards meant for that gym teacher." She then explained.

"Phantom...Thieves?" Yomi got out in confusion. "The news didn't mention them..." She then added.

"Because no one would take something like phantom thieves seriously." Hikage pointed out.

"Do you think they're related to our mission?" Yomi soon asked in a serious tone.

"Not sure." Hikage answered with a shake of her head. "Could've been a bunch of delinquents. We'll bring it up if we have no other leads." She then decided as she started walking down the halls. "Guess I swipe something from the cafeteria while I'm at it." She soon decided.

This in turn caught the blonde's attention as her stomach growled. "I didn't get to eat breakfast this morning..." She muttered as she followed behind, unaware of some of the male remaining students gawking at their appearances.

(Harajuku)

Within a modeling studio, the Vice Leader was doing her thing on set as she was following the instructions given to her. The current theme of the shoot was pajamas as she was wearing an adorable part of green pajama with the set being in a bed room.

"Now give me that face everyone loves!" The cameraman instructed.

"Like this?" Asuka asked before giving the camera a cute look.

SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!

"That's it Asuka-chan, the camera loves ya!" The cameraman praised in excitement as he continued taking some pictures. "Now give me somethin' you've never done before!" He then instructed.

Asuka in response gave off an alluring expression for the camera as she switched poses to a more seducing one.

"That's it!" The cameraman declared as he kept going.

SNAP!

"Man, she's been working hard, to think she hasn't been doing this for that long." One of the other models muttered in an impressed manner.

"I know, she only started recently and she's working as hard as we do." Another got out. "Gotta say, she's committed." She then admitted.

"Hmph, she's just a rookie through and through." A cocky voice got out in annoyance.

"Ugh, Risa..." One of the models got out in annoyance as they turned to see the auburn haired girl mentioned.

"What? It's not like I'm lying." Risa countered in the same confident manner.

"Seriously, what's your deal with Asuka-chan?" One of the older models wearing a chinese style dress asked in disgust.

"'Cause everything she has was just given to her." Risa declared as she glared at the girl going through the shoot. "Her job, her looks, everything. All she is is lucky while us honest models have to actually work hard to maintain our looks. If she wasn't so pretty, she'd be a third-rate model with a fourth-rate style. And she gets all the attention and shit." She then added to the declaration.

"Come on, you're 24 years old. She's just a kid." One of the other models that was wearing a mature business suit got out while narrowing her eyes.

Risa however scoffed to that. "Yeah. That's all she is. She's a part-timer and they're treating her like a full-time worker." She countered. "She doesn't have to support herself, she's doing this for extra money. Face it, she doesn't deserve anything." She soon declared.

"...You are so jealous." The other models soon declared at the same time.

"I AM NOT!" Risa called out in frustration.

"..." Asuka could meanwhile hear the entire conversation. "Don't let it get to you Asuka. Y-You deserve to be here like everyone else." She thought to herself.

"Yeah! I love that! Gimme more of that cute, sad little face!" The cameraman declared, unaware of what was happening as he kept going.

SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!

Later when the shoot ended, Asuka had changed into her normal clothes as she got herself a drink as she sigh in slight depression. "I'm...not doing this for extra money..." She mumbled to herself.

"Hey Asuka-chan, great work out there." The red chinese dress wearing model that was defending her praised as she patted her on the back, only to see the depressed expression on her face. "You ok?" She soon asked in concern.

"I-I'm ok Kumiko-san. I'll see you next time." Asuka answered as she started to leave, only to be stopped when she felt herself being turned around to look at the other model. "W-What is it?" She soon asked in a nervous manner.

"You deserve to be here Asuka-chan, don't forget that." Kumiko declared while firmly placing both hands on her shoulders.

"But...Risa..." Asuka mumbled out.

"Why would you listen to her?" Kumiko countered. "Look, don't let it get to you. She's just jealous." She then informed.

"I KEEP TELLING YOU, I AM NOT!" Risa called out in anger.

The senior model however rolled her eyes in response. "Yup, totally jealous." Kumiko got out while ignoring the rant before an idea came to mind. "Hey, how about you come with us to get something to eat? Our treat." She then offered.

Asuka in response blinked to that. "R-Really? You don't mind?" She replied with her own question.

Kumiko however giggled to that. "Of course not. That's what friends are for." She replied with a grin.

That in turn surprised Asuka even more. "F-Friends? R-Really?"She once more asked with an adorable and flustered blush on her face.

"Yup! We can even teach you a few things as a model." Kumiko replied once more with a playful wink. "Come on. Me and the others are feeling like sushi today." She then informed.

Asuka couldn't help but giggle at that while feeling her mood lightening up. "Hehehe...well, I know a thing or two about good sushi..." She replied as the two headed out.

"Huh, no kidding." Kumiko replied as the two continued chatting and ignoring the glare for the mean girl.

(Shinjuku, Omoide Yokocho)

Yumi let out a breath as she took in the atmosphere.

It felt like she was stepping back into the Showa era. She hadn't really been to this place much, only really coming here for a few informant meetings, but she couldn't help but feel calm in the casual and relaxed air this narrow side street had.

"So this is Piss Alley..." Yusuke began as he looked around.

"It's called Memory Lane..." Yumi sighed out. "Now please follow me. Don't wander off, there are hostess bars around here. We are here for yakitori." She then instructed.

"Is this not the first lunch we've gone on since we've awakened our Personas?" Yusuke questioned.

"I...believe so. If not, then honestly these past few days have been a blur." Yumi replied as she closed her eyes.

"Indeed it has." Yusuke admitted in agreement. "So much has changed in so little time..." He then added.

"I know." Yumi replied before looking up. "Ah, we're here." She soon informed.

Soon enough, they found a table where they were given glasses of water and tea.

"So...your...your old school. Gessen, right? An all girl's school." Yusuke questioned as they waited for someone to come and take their order.

"Correct." Yumi replied as she took a sip of her drink.

"What was it like there?" Yusuke asked as he leaned in.

"Well..." Yumi started as she thought about it. "It's reputation as a Death Cram school is not unfounded." She soon revealed.

"So...people died?" Yusuke soon questioned as he narrowed his eyes.

"No! No, it just makes you want to die!" Yumi quickly corrected.

"..." Yusuke in response just blinked to hearing that.

"It's a school where good...students from famous families attend where the best of the best are taught and trained." Yumi began as she glanced around in case anyone was listening. "It was established during the Azuchi-Momoyama Period, so the students' families have all amassed immense wealth over the generations. As such, the facilities are particularly high-class. It even has an immaculate Japanese-style garden there." She soon explained and informed.

"Fascinating." Yusuke replied in a intrigued tone. "I would love to see that garden and sketch it." He then admitted.

"...That would be...tricky..." Yumi however admitted in an uneasy tone. "No outsiders." She then reminded.

"Of course." Yusuke responded with a nod of understanding. "However, given that I know your talents, may I do some sketches of you some time. I wish to study your movements." He replied followed by the request.

"Maybe some other time. As you know, I am quite busy with my duties." Yumi replied and reminded. "Especially now, with our business as...Phantom Thieves." She then whispered.

"Senpai, what are we going to do once Madarame's change of heart takes full effect?" Yusuke asked.

Before the light grey haired girl could answer, a waitress arrived with notepad in hand. "May I take your order?" She soon asked.

"Ah, um, we'd like takoyaki and..." Yusuke started to answer before turning to the Student Council President of Kosei. "And what else?" He then asked.

"Two large orders of okonomiyaki stuffed with everything in them please." Yumi soon requested.

"Okay, coming right up." The waitress replied after writing everything down before walking off.

"There's no need for that Senpai." Yusuke informed in a reassuring tone.

Yumi however sighed as she looked at her junior in disapproval. "Yusuke-san, you need to eat more." She bluntly stated in a chiding manner. "And stop spending so much of it on art supplies. I keep telling you this every week." She then added in slight annoyance.

"But-" Yusuke started.

"No buts mister." Yumi interrupted in a more motherly tone. "As your senior, I am bound to make sure that my juniors, at Kosei or Gessen, have a balanced diet. You are eating more than usual and I will make sure you are well-fed from now on." She soon declared with a sweet smile on her face as a surge of cold air began going through the restaurant.

It was at that moment that Yusuke remembered that his senior was going easy on him in the past and she was now no longer going to hold back. "O-Of course, senpai!" He squeaked out as he saluted unconsciously.

"Good boy." Yumi innocently praised with a delighted smile on her face before glancing over to the side. "Ah, our food is coming. Make sure to eat everything." She informed and instructed.

"Yes, senpai." Yusuke replied as the waitress put their food on the table...

GRRRRR!

Just as his stomach started growling loudly. "Ah." Yusuke awkwardly got out.

Yumi had to resist letting out a long-suffering sigh. "Case and point." She thought to herself as she looked at the boy. "You didn't eat today, didn't you." She soon stated more than asked.

"I need new acrylics." Yusuke admitted in a somewhat whiny tone.

"No excuses in the future." Yumi countered in disapproval as the food was placed on the table. "Now eat." She then ordered.

Yusuke in response sweatdropped. "O-Of course." He replied.

Soon, they were eating their food in a well mannered way.

"Did you hear anything new from him? About the Black Mask or otherwise?" Yumi suddenly asked as she popped some takoyaki into her mouth.

Yusuke however shook his head in response. "No, nothing of the sort senpai." He replied with a frown on his face.

Yumi in turn sighed to that. "That's unfortunate, but there's not much we can do." She replied. "My informants are working on it but so far they haven't reported any progress." She then informed.

"I don't think we can rely on conventional methods should we pursue this Black Mask." Yusuke soon suggested.

"I know, but we have nothing else to go on." Yumi stated. "All we can do is wait, and it frustrates me. I finally have a clue, but..." She continued, but trailed off at the end.

"We'll bring him to justice soon, Yumi-senpai. But right now we should be waiting for Madarame's justice to come." Yusuke got out. "Actually, I should be going home soon after this. I need to take care of him. We don't want him to die before he confesses." He then added.

"No we do not." Yumi replied in agreement. "But you should better eat everything." She then advised.

"This is quite a lot of food for two people..." Yusuke muttered out.

And so the day went on, with Yumi and Yusuke enjoying each other's company.

(6/2, Evening)

(Hebijo Base)

Yomi blinked as she and the greenette arrived at the location of their home for the week.

It was an abandoned train tunnel that used to connect from Asakusa to Shibuya.

"This is our base?" Hikage got out as she looked around.

"One of the bases that was made for Hebijo students if given a sudden mission such as ours." Haruka explained. She and the first year had found the place first and had spent the time relaxing and cleaning up the place. "Anytime we come to Tokyo now, we are to stay here." She then added.

"It even has a mini-fridge!" Mirai called out as she down can of Water of Rebirth.

"Strange though. The lights were left on." Haruka pointed out. "I mean, we are secretly drawing from the city's power but that's just negligence." She then informed.

"Is that blood?" Yomi asked, noticing the dried spot of blood near the first year.

"...Yes that is." Mirai replied...before shrugging and finishing her drink.

"So, did you find out anything from Homura's apartment?" Hikage soon asked.

"Yes, actually." Haruka answered as they all gathered around a cheap outdoor table the first year found. "But you go first. You were the ones observing Homura after all." She then suggested.

"Okay." Yomi started with a nod. "Well, I was watching Homura-chan after her classes had ended. She left the classroom to meet with her Disciplinary Committee." She began.

"A Disciplinary Committee?" Mirai repeated. "Don't they exist only in anime?" She then pointed out.

"Not anymore." Yomi replied with a shrug. "I overheard a few students talking about it and they said it's an attempt by the principal to save face after some controversy about a gym teacher." She soon explained.

"Ah, Suguru Kamoshida. Charged for abuse, sexual harassment, defamation, paedophilia and rape." Hikage recalled.

"Ugh, that video posted was the worst..." Mirai muttered in disgust.

"Eh? Video Mirai-chan?" Yomi repeated in confusion, also getting the attention of the others.

"...The rape video posted to the internet..." Mirai replied in a saddened tone as she took her phone out. "...It was taken down pretty quickly, but...it showed him forcefully taking advantage of a student." She then explained.

"Mirai, don't tell me you saved a copy." Haruka got out in a serious tone.

"..." Mirai didn't respond as shadows covered her head before tapping her phone screen.

Before Haruka snatched it out of her hands and swiftly placed it into the trash bin.

"Wha!? Haruka-sama, why did you-!?" Mirai exclaimed in shock.

Haruka however had a serious scowl on her face. "I will not have you own such a thing. It's despicable, and only scum would save and share such a thing." She soon declared in disapproval.

"...That must be saying something coming from the one who has chained up slaves back in the basement at Hebijo." Hikage countered.

"Who told you about them!?" Haruka exclaimed.

"You just confirmed it." Hikage simply countered.

"...Why am I not surprised." Yomi deadpanned.

"That's not the point here. Mirai kept a video that should be long forgotten." Haruka got out as she turned to the first year. "What do you have to say for yourself?"

"But Haruka-sama, I always thought something was off about that video." Mirai started.

"...What?" Haruka got out.

"What do you mean Mirai-chan?" Yomi meanwhile questioned.

"Well...how did someone record it without being noticed?" Mirai soon asked. "They say it was security footage, but it's placed at an unnatural angle." She then explained.

"..." To that, the other girls were struck silent as they looked at the first year.

Haruka then looked at the phone, going into the trash bin app and restoring the video before watching it. "...It's true, this angle is unnatural. There's also a subtle shake to it." She admitted as she narrowed her eyes for a moment before widening. "Wait...could it have been Homura-chan who recorded it?" She soon asked.

"Eh? What made you think of that Haruka-san?" Yomi questioned.

"Do we know any other shinobis infiltrating Shujin?" Haruka countered as she looked at the video once more in disgust. "Only a shinobi could've filmed this and escaped without being noticed. But the question is...Why was she recording it in the first place?" She then stated followed by the question. "Anyone with our strength would've stopped him. But all she did was watch." She soon reminded.

"Maybe she was in shock?" Mirai suggested. "I-I mean, I think any of us would be if we were in her situation..." She then muttered as she shivered slightly to the idea.

"You may be right, but that does not excuse that she did nothing." Yomi however stated.

"Despite having to keep her cover?" Hikage countered.

"Killing him would have created more problems for her as well as attract unwanted attention..." Haruka stated.

"We need to do some more research and information gathering on this." Mirai muttered out.

"So, should we send it to Suzune-sensei with the report?" Hikage soon asked.

"...We will, but advise her not to watch it." Haruka answered.

"Then what's the point of sending the video then?" Hikage pointed out.

"Do you really think Suzune-sensei wouldn't watch it without warning her?" Haruka countered. "By saying not to watch it, she would end up watching it to find out why." She then explained.

"Or you could just say that the file is evidence of Homura's actions and what it contains. You don't have to trick Suzune-sensei into watching it." Hikage pointed out.

Haruka however sighed in response. "Fine, I'll just tell her that this is basically a sexual assault video recorded by Homura-chan and she didn't do anything to keep her cover up." She replied.

"Well, she's still at Shujin living with her roommate, so we have to assume that her cover is still up." Yomi stated. "And, I would like to point out that this is all based on assumptions. Are we sure there are no other shinobi in Shujin? Are we sure Homura-chan actually recorded that video? Is there any evidence that can support our theories? Because if there is, we are proving that Homura-chan is not performing her duty to Hebijo, and worse revealed her identity to a civilian, and they will use the Yoke Technique and kill her instantly." She then reminded.

This in turn caused the others (minus Hikage) to wince at the reminder of the technique placed on them all.

"And that's not to say that we're completely wrong and Homura-chan is actually doing her job." Yomi then added.

"...Dammit all..." Haruka swore out after a moment of silence. "What are you doing Homura-chan?" She soon asked.

"So...are we really going to send it?" Mirai then asked.

"...No. Not yet at least. Not until we gather more evidence." Haruka soon decided while glaring at the video. "Also, this video was uploaded to the internet for everyone to see for a short while before being taken down just as fast. That isn't something Homura-chan can do." She then added.

"Yeah. Let's not be too hasty before we decide her fate." Mirai stated. "So...What were you doing, Hikage?" She soon asked to change the subject as she took her phone back.

The greenette in response took in a deep breath. "While Yomi-san was watching over Homura-san, I was studying her student." Hikage spoke up as she took out two photos from her breast. "His name's Akira Kurusu." She soon revealed as she placed the picture on the table for the others to see, one with him wearing his glasses and the other without them.

"Aw...! He has such a cute little kitty!" Mirai got out in excitement.

"He used to be the talk of the school, apparently." Hikage then stated. "The other students say that he tried to kill someone, so he got arrested and sent to juvie for a while before being sent out of his hometown and to Shujin." She soon revealed.

"Really?" Haruka questioned with a raised eyebrow, fascinated to learning this along with the others.

"It's all based on rumors though. But I do know that he has a criminal record at least." Hikage then informed them as she showed the others the record on her phone. "It was leaked on the school forum." She soon revealed.

"Assault..." Yomi muttered out.

"He really doesn't look it though." Mirai admitted.

"Well, we can't judge books by their covers." Haruka pointed out. "We should keep an eye on him tomorrow. If he's training with Homura-chan and surviving, it's highly likely he knows who she really is." She then stated.

"Maybe he's training to get revenge or to finish the job..." Mirai guessed.

"Well, we'll have our questions answered soon enough." Yomi stated. "Haruka-san, Mirai-chan. What did you find in Homura's apartment?" She soon asked.

"Mostly just evidence of what her roommate's into." Haruka replied. "Also...we found these." She soon added as she took out various photos and placed them on the table.

"Hm? What's all of that?" Hikage asked with a tilt of her head.

"Medicine. Food. Various odds and ends. Fake guns." Mirai listed off.

"Fake guns?" Yomi repeated that last bit.

"Airsoft. They don't have the orange tips on the barrel." Mirai informed and explained.

"They look pretty real though." Hikage noted.

"Yeah, it fooled me pretty good before I got a better look at them." Mirai admitted. "But why own model guns?"

"Hmm...well in the slums, some people obtained fake weapons to scare robbers that tried to mug them." Yomi then pointed out. "Maybe it's something like that so she doesn't have to show her shinobi skills?" She soon suggested.

"Maybe, but I don't think full-sized shotguns, sniper rifles and machine guns can be hidden in her cleavage." Haruka pointed out.

"The slums got away with it though." Yomi then countered in an innocent manner.

"But we're not in the slums. We're in the middle of Tokyo." Hikage stated. "Shouldn't we just track down whoever gave her those fake guns?" She then suggested.

"That would be wise." Haruka replied in agreement as she took out her phone. "Maybe I took a picture of the serial number..." She then muttered.

"Or we could just find an airsoft shop in Shibuya." Hikage suggested as she pulled out her phone and quickly searched it up. "...Three, no, five locations. And the one nearest to her apartment is...Untouchable." She soon informed.

"Okay. I think we have a plan of action tomorrow." Haruka got out.

"Haruka-sama, please don't seduce the shop owner..." Mirai begged in a mutter.

"What? I was going to bribe them, but seducing them sounds a lot more fun now that you mention it..." Haruka innocently replied.

"Please don't." Mirai once more begged.

"We should confront Homura-san as soon as possible too." Hikage suggested.

"And maybe get to know her student a little better." Haruka meanwhile added. "I have the feeling he's going to be very cooperative after we're done with him." She then declared.

"We should," Yomi replied in agreement. "Next week on Monday?" She then suggested.

"That would be...June 6th, right?" Mirai soon asked.

"Hai. In the meantime we should prepare to fight her just in case and continue observing our targets." Haruka replied with a nod.

"I thought this was going to an open-and-shut type of mission but this got a whole lot complex really quick..." Yomi admitted in an uneasy manner.

"In any case, I'll write out the report and have it sent right away." Haruka offered. "Also Yomi-chan, if you go to Homura-chan's apartment to find anything, please don't try and destroy anything." She then requested.

"Hm? Wait, why?" Yomi asked in confusion before her eyes widened. "Hold on, is Homura-chan recklessly spending money on unnecessary things!? Grrrr...!" She then questioned with a growl escaping her lips.

"Why did you mention it Haruka-sama?" Mirai deadpanned with a sigh. "Basically her roommate's a fashion model and got some nice clothes as a result." She simply explained.

"SO THEY'RE RICH NOW!?" Yomi exclaimed in disbelief before her body began shivering in anger.

"Some Yomi-chan." Haruka corrected with a sigh.

The second year blonde however took out her weapon. "That's still some too many Haruka-san!" Yomi called out as she prepared to leave. "Fake guns, fancy dresses, expensive food and medicine! It's unacceptable!" She then declared in a furious manner.

"You're making it worse. Shut up." Hikage bluntly suggested.

"OH GOD, STOP HER!" Mirai called out as she saw the blonde second year heading for the exit.

"Yeah, I'm going to write the report now." Haruka decided as the other blonde began shouting stuff about bean sprouts and betrayal while the others tried to stop her from going on an anti upper-class destructive rampage and, most importantly, blowing their cover.

(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

The two roommates had met up at the station after such a busy day, so they decided to grab something to eat at the diner and study a bit before heading home for some sleep.

"So how was your photoshoot, Sis?" Homura asked as the two walked up the stairs to the apartment.

Asuka in response gave a sheepish expression in response. "It went pretty well. Even went out to get sushi after work." She informed. "Though...I did have to deal with...a bitch beforehand..." She mumbled out.

That in turn caused Homura to pause she looked at her roommate. "...What was that about a bitch Sis?" Homura soon questioned before placing her hands on her shoulders. "Tell me what happened." She then requested.

"It was just a jealous model who thinks I shouldn't be a model. I deserve to be there just like the rest of them." Asuka then explained as they got to the apartment. "I just gotta keep telling myself that." She thought.

"Well that's good, just don't get too cocky Sis." Homura however instructed as she unlocked the door and opened it. "You could-" She then began, only to stop as she noticed something.

"Homu-nee?" Asuka asked in concern, only for the tan skinned girl to raise her hand and slowly walked into the apartment. "Hm?" She hummed out in confusion and a raised eyebrow as she followed behind her.

Homura narrowed her eyes before picking up the open magazine.

This wasn't the page she left it on.

"Sis...someone was here..." Homura suddenly whispered in a serious tone as she glanced around.

Asuka's eyes widened in response to that discovery before silently nodding.

"We have to check everything. Now." Homura soon ordered.

"Hai." Asuka replied as the two began looking around the apartment for anything out of the ordinary.

However they made a shocking discovery.

"THEY STOLE THE SHAMPOO!? WHY!?" The duo exclaimed in anger, shock, disbelief and frustration.

"CURSE YOU, WHO EVER ROBBED US! I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR THAT SHAMPOO DAMMIT!" Homura cried out to the heavens, tears running down her face.

"It's okay, I'll buy more tomorrow after school..." Asuka got out in a comforting tone, patting her sobbing roommate's back. "...At least they didn't take the bath bombs..." She then added.

"True," Homura admitted in agreement while calming herself down. "Come on, we can't be mourning right now. We need to check the rest of the apartment." She then added, getting a nod in response before going back to their search.

Thirty minutes later...

"Okay, that's the last of it." Asuka got out in relief as she shut the cupboard.

"Well, our apartment isn't going to blow up anytime soon." Homura breathed out.

"They didn't even steal anything really valuable..." Asuka muttered out. "They couldn't have been robbers, right?" She then asked in confusion.

Homura in response shook her head in a serious manner. "No..." She answered as a guilty expression appeared on her face. "It was most likely a shinobi." She soon declared.

Asuka in response gasped in response. "Y-You mean...Hebijo?" She muttered in a certain manner.

"I don't know. Couldn't tell who they were." Homura responded.

Asuka's eyes however widened to that. "What the...You saw them!?" She exclaimed in shock.

"I punched them in the face after they tried to kill me and Akira a few days ago Sis." Homura revealed.

Asuka immediately paled in response to hearing that. "W-What...WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!? Dammit! I need to call Yumi-chan about this!" She exclaimed as she took out her phone.

"S-Sis, it's under control." Homura struggled out.

"It is not under control! Someone found our apartment and searched it!" Asuka countered while gripping her roommate's shoulders."...Shit. Shit, they could know we're Phantom Thieves! Oh God, we're dead. We're all dead and it's-" She then continued in a panic.

SLAP!

"Asuka Shirokage, calm down!" Homura demanded. "Freaking out won't solve anything!" She then stated.

"STAYING CALM DOESN'T-" Asuka began to counter.

SLAP!

"Asuka!" Homura once more started.

"But-" Asuka countered again.

SLAP!

"Moh! Stop slapping me Homu-nee!" Asuka whined with a puffed up cheek.

SLAP!

"Not until you listen!" Homura ordered as she then hugged the other girl tightly. "Sheesh...breathe Sis...breathe..." She calmly ordered.

"My face feels numb..." Asuka groaned as she rubbed her red cheeks.

"Sorry..." Homura mumbled while rubbing the other girl's back. "Look, I'm training the others so they can stand up to shinobi. I won't let them die, not while I'm still here." She then reassured.

"...I...I don't know...you can't train them well enough. We don't have the time!" Asuka pointed out.

"Well, it's better than doing nothing. Both Akira and Ann did pretty well." Homura revealed.

"Akira-kun never said anything about this!? Why are you two hiding this from everyone!?" Asuka shouted out. "And don't say-" She then started

"We didn't want to worry you guys." Homura informed in a serious tone, interrupting her roommate.

"That. Exactly that." Asuka however stated in frustration. "Homu-nee...you need to trust us. Next team meeting, you and Akira-kun come clean." She soon instructed.

"...I'm sorry." Homura apologized.

"It's too late for one!" Asuka snapped. "Next group meet, are we clear!?" She then ordered.

Homura could only nod in response. "Crystal Sis." She replied.

"Good. And if anything like this happens again, you will tell me or else...or else..." Asuka got out before letting out a noise of frustration and worry before flopping onto the ground.

"Sis!?" Homura yelped out as she leaned down and hugged her again. "What just happened!?" She then questioned in a panic.

"J-Just cooling down." Asuka mumbled out.

"Maybe we should just go to sleep for the night." Homura soon suggested.

"No! Not yet." Asuka however got out as she pulled out her phone. "I'm texting Yumi-chan right now." She soon declared.

Homura in response loosened her hug as she looked at the brunette in a serious tone and nodded. "Of course." She replied.

(Shinjuku, New Moon Apartment Complex)

Steam had just leaked out of the bathroom as the light grey haired girl stepped out, her chest covered in a towel as she dried her hair while she sighed. "Honestly Yusuke-san, you really need to learn how to manage money better..." She thought in slight frustration.

BZZT! BZZT!

Suddenly, she heard her phone vibrate. "Hm? Who could be texting me this late?" Yumi muttered out as she picked up her phone and turned it on. "Asuka-san?" She then questioned as she entered the conversation.

[SushiRoll23: HOMU-NEE LIED TO ME YUMI-CHAN!]

[FireGirl20: (sweatdrop emoji)]

[Negative8Degrees:...Eh?]

[FireGirl20: I-It's a misunderstanding...]

[SushiRoll23: NO IT'S NOT!]

[FireGirl20: I'm right next to you!]

[Negative8Degrees: Asuka-san, calm down. What did Homura-san do?]

[SushiRoll23: She didn't tell any of us that she was attacked by a shinobi.]

[Negative8Degrees:...Is this true Homura-san? That is rather important to not keep hidden.]

[FireGirl20: . .Akira didn't say anything about it too.]

(...)

[Negative8Degrees: I wish you could see my disappointment in both of you.]

[Negative8Degrees:...Homura-san, I will be intensifying your next lesson for not telling us this.]

[FireGirl20:...How bad are we talking?]

[Negative8Degrees: Wishing you could die and want to transfer to Gessen calling me Yumi-sama.]

[SushiRoll23: Yumi-dono.]

[Negative8Degrees: Even better!]

[FireGirl20: Dammit! I'm already mentally broken enough as is!]

[Negative8Degrees: No swearing.]

[Negative8Degrees: I will properly remove swearing from your vocabulary when I am done with you next time.]

[Negative8Degress: If that is alright with you Asuka-san.]

[SushiRoll23: Go right ahead Yumi-chan. :3]

[FireGirl20: Ugh...I brought this on myself...]

Yumi's eye soon twitched as the discussion ended as she placed the phone on the charger. "Oh yes...Homura-san will be begging to transfer to Gessen when I'm finished with her..." She muttered in a surprisingly dark tone and a light blue gleam in her eyes as plans came to her mind while getting changed into her pajamas.

For the sake of purifying those of weakness, there's no rest for the wicked, huh?

(Hebijo Academy, Elite's Room)

Suzune was sitting on the sofa, deep in thought, waiting for anything to happen while also thinking about everything.

"...I should give them a call..." Suzune thought. "I haven't really got the chance since-" She then added to her thought, however...

"Suzune-sensei," A student spoke up, making herself known as she appeared bowing in front of her teacher with a hefty scroll in hand. "A report has come in from Haruka-sama." She soon informed before offering it to her.

"Thank you. Dismissed." Suzune replied after taking the scroll.

The student bowed once more with a nod before swiftly leaving, allowing Suzune to read the scroll in peace.

Suzune-sensei.

We have arrived in Tokyo and have taken the day to gather information on Homura's actions since her arrival.

In Shujin Academy, she had garnered a reputation of anger and violence. Not surprising but detrimental to her mission as a poor reputation would lead to limited interaction with other students. But she is currently taking steps into rectifying such an image by, surprisingly enough, starting a disciplinary committee with her as the head of it along with support from the school's principal.

"No surprises there." Suzune thought.

It was logical for the principal to create some sort of measure to support students, to make sure the school's reputation isn't ruined further. She had met the man before Homura left and he seemed like the type of sleazeball who cared more about his standing than the wellbeing of his staff and students.

She even had seen Kamoshida as she was leaving that day and could immediately tell that he was scum.

Homura was taking advantage of the scandal and the principal's weaknesses. That earned her a few points in her book.

My deduction at this action from Homura-chan is that she is trying to create a foothold at Shujin Academy to try and gather information by attempting to apply the image of a mature and responsible woman. I can only assume she has come to the conclusion that the incident with Suguru Kamoshida has inspired such a move.

However it seems her acting has improved upon arrival as she has a more mature air around her, more so than when she was at Hebijo.

"She better have." Suzune thought. No one would want to talk to someone with such a violent attitude. All that wouldn't fly in a civilian school. She was actually glad the tan skinned girl was behaving herself.

Homura-chan also seems to be doing well academically as her grades show that she is one of the top ten smartest students.

Again, not much of a surprise. Hebijo was a normal school once upon a time (until that Yōma attack) and it would not tolerate any bad grades. It was excellence or death here, no matter what area.

We've also managed to identify Homura-chan's student.

He goes by Akira Kurusu. Rumor has it that he assaulted someone and was sent to Shujin because no other school would accept him. Quite a handsome looking boy might I add.

A photo of him has been included for confirmation.

Suzune narrowed her eyes at the photo. It was of the black-haired boy...talking to his cat that he keeps in his bag while he emptied the vending machine of drinks.

Huh.

You know, this boy did seem rather mature for his age when he's not being chased by murder geese.

"Hmm...something about him seems...familiar..." Suzune muttered to herself.

Still, only rumors though? No concrete evidence of such a thing occurring? Looks like they haven't broken into the school's records yet. It was most likely all digital and as far as she knew none of them were hackers in any capacity. She'll have to rectify that when they get back. While she can't teach how to break through firewalls, she can teach some social engineering.

We also have infiltrated her apartment to gather information. We found various weapons and medicine within a secret compartment. However, the weapons are fake. Convincing models, sure, but a closer look would reveal they would only fire BBs at best. We are currently trying to track down where she got them from and why she would buy them. Her hand-to-hand should suffice in most cases, so having fake weapons would be pointless.

It also begs the question...where is she getting the money to buy all that equipment and supplies?

"Fake guns?" Suzune thought as she frowned at reading that. She knew that the tan skinned girl never had an interest in guns. She was focused more so on her bladeworks and determined to surpass the Niten Ichi-ryū sword style of Miyamoto Musashi with her own six sword style.

That was suspicious, but there wasn't much she got out of that. Why have fake weapons in the first place? It obviously wasn't out of sudden interest if she took so much effort to hide them.

And where that money comes from…

Yes, this was not painting Homura in a good light.

Her roommate is one Asuka Shirokage, right? A part time model as of last month. For the magazine that was placed in, she seems like an interesting person. However, there is no evidence that she knows of Homura's status.

Suzune couldn't help but sigh at reading that bit. "Of course Haruka gains an interest in someone..." She muttered as she looked at the magazine and opened to the page with the folded corner to get a better look at her.

"Hmm..." Suzune hummed out. "Asuka Shirokage, the girl who's roomed with Homura as part of her cover...to think this was her occupation." She muttered as she continued looking through the magazine before putting it down to continue through the report.

She could only pray for the poor girl. Once Haruka gains enough interest, she won't be willing to let go so easily.

In any case, we will take steps to make sure she does not interfere with our work by confronting Homura-chan when her roommate is working.

Our plan in the coming days is to meet with Homura-chan and interrogate her about her student.

We will keep you updated once we make contact.

-Haruka.

Suzune sighed as she rolled up the scroll.

Why did she have the feeling that this was going to be a shitshow?

"...I'll call them tomorrow to update their mission." Suzune soon decided before heading to bed while taking her armor off.

Whew! Done! Looks like them Hebijo girls are gonna complicate this situation a little more than usual. God, I can't wait to write more chapters and we do not have material from 6/3 to the confession so a time skip might be happening soon.

UknownHero signing off, my friends!
