You want more!? We got MORE! UknownHero here, and welcome to another chapter of Senran Persona! I am working on Queen of Hearts but these are usually faster to do (thank you months of prewritten shit). I wonder how many references people can find in all the previous chapters…

Onto business/reviews! To WX-Lazer: Okay, admitting it now, we are pushing Makoto pretty far, but we are taking steps to rectify that…you know, apart from the canon punches to the face. But here's a running theme we're trying to put: Actions have consequences. Kamoshida? His presence will still be seen throughout the story. The Shiho video? A significant plot point. Makoto being friends with Homura? That is something that can't be put on the wayside. I just thought it would be the most appropriate reaction, especially considering what the circumstances are. If you want the opposite reaction for Makoto having a friend, read Vanishing Act on Archive of Our Own. To Cross177: Dude, they weren't just in the P1 Grand Prix…Hmm…maybe if we do something like a PQ2 arc/side story, we'll see To godzilliahero3: A Shadow is simply the side one does not acknowledge. It's not evil, but it usually brings out the negative aspects of one's self. To Doujin Logic: Corrected! Already sent a PM but thank you for pointing out that mistake. To mega1987: Eh…we'll think about it once the story is over. To Felipe1402XZA: Please refer to the Meat Dimension that has been referenced in a previous chapter but I'll give you a hint. She has legs.

Anyways, that's it! Let's have a nice, peaceful day…

Load Game…Start!

Chapter 47: A 'Good Day' Indeed

(6/8, Early Morning)

(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

The two roommates had just exited the bath as they were drying themselves off after using Courage on Parade as Asuka felt her Courage increased as a result while Homura felt as though her Understanding increased.

"Sis, can you get the flora pair for me?" Homura casually asked while brushing her hair to get the knots out.

"Hai!" Asuka replied from the other room as she rummaged through the clothes. "I'll make us bentos for lunch before we head out. Do you want anything in particular?" She replied and asked.

"Something well balanced." Homura answered.

"Meat and veggies then?" Asuka guessed while getting to work.

"Along with rice." Homura responded.

"I thought that was a given." Asuka stated. "No meal is complete without rice!" She then added as she began cooking.

"What about burgers?" Homura pointed out.

"That's an exception." Asuka replied.

"Or ramen. Or donuts. Or bread. Or-" Homura began listing off.

"Okay, okay! Rice doesn't go with everything! You don't have to rub it in..." Asuka exclaimed before pouting.

"Hehehe...Just teasing you. Come on, I'll help you." Homura giggled out as the two went to the kitchen after fully getting dressed.

After making themselves bentos for each other, they left their apartment with bright smiles as they continued chatting.

The two shinobi however were unaware of the insanity in upcoming days.

(Niijima Residence)

When Makoto woke up that morning, she felt like a new woman.

A quick shower, a light breakfast as she was already heading out the door ready to face the coming days ahead.

Unburdened by the chains of authority.

Unwilling to bend to the wills of those wanting to take advantage of her.

Unleashed from all her worries about the consequences of her actions.

As long as the Phantom Thieves paid for their crimes, she would live the life deserved.

Free from all that dumb bullshit and allowing her to peacefully transition to adulthood with no worries.

She was going to take them down.

And there was nothing that would stop her~

(Shujin Academy, Classroom Hallway 2nd Floor)

"You know, I've been noticing more and more people are talking about the Phantom Thieves." Asuka whispered to her roommate as they walked down the hallways. "As long as we keep doing what we're doing, we'll get through that next barrier in no time!" She then stated in an encouraging tone.

"Hehehe...calm down, Sis." Homura giggled out while ruffling her roommate's head in a playful manner. "It's going to be a bit before we hit our next target...besides no neck." She then advised.

Asuka sighed as she pulled out her phone. "So frustrating...I mean, I can practically see the Palace and his Treasure..." She then mumbled out with a pout.

"Yeah, me too. But once we figure it out, his heart is already ours." Homura got out with a rebellious smirk. "...Anyways, where are we going? We've been walking around for the past ten minutes." She soon asked and pointed out.

"Uh...I was following you." Asuka muttered out.

"Huh." Homura hummed out. "Well, I feel a little thirsty. I'm gonna grab some tea from the courtyard." She soon decided.

"Okay, I'll see you in class then, Homu-nee." Asuka informed her as she made her way to the classroom.

The tan skinned girl meanwhile smiled as she made her way to get a drink. "Ah..." Homura breathed out with a smile.

It looked like things were finally looking up.

(Courtyard)

Homura couldn't help but groan as she saw the Leader empty the vending machine of drinks. "What a colossal waste of money..." She thought to herself before approaching the boy. "Ah, hey Akira." Homura casually greeted.

"Hello." Akira replied as he turned towards the tan skinned girl. However, before they could get into a stimulating conversation about math or his apparent soda addiction, they were interrupted by various whispers. It seems like the rumor mill was doing its work like always.

"Man, yesterday was nuts with what happened."

"The Prez passed out the way she did? No shit."

"Not to mention that confession and apology she gave."

"Bah, she's probably covering her ass."

"Her really nice ass..."

"Dude! She let a rapist go wild!"

"You kidding me!? You can fake passing out like that!"

"Well that is true..."

"Also...Niijima Buns..."

"Dude, really?"

"The hell man?"

"...You're dead to me."

The Leader and tan skinned girl meanwhile heard those mutters and were disgusted by some of them. "Rumors suck." Homura bluntly stated in a mutter.

"Tell me about it." Akira sighed out in agreement.

"Ugh...I swear, whoever started those lies are going to pay once I find them." Homura growled in frustration. "Makoto-senpai's innocent, dammit." She then muttered

The Leader however then felt a familiar presence. "Speaking of the devil." Akira got out. "Hello, Makoto-kaichou." He then greeted.

"Akira-san, Homura-san." Makoto got out as the Student Council President approached the two

"Makoto-senpai." Homura greeted. "You're looking a lot better than um...yesterday." She awkwardly pointed out.

"Yes, well, a real good night's sleep is all I needed." Makoto revealed with a smile. "I bought some sleeping pills last night and it worked wonders." She then added.

"So...no voices?" Homura soon asked in concern.

"No voices." Makoto simply replied in a relieved tone. "Anyways, I just wanted to see you and make sure you don't worry about me." She then explained.

"And Principal Nugget and the Phantom Thieves?" Homura then asked.

"Don't worry about him." Makoto scoffed out. "I just...needed a little spine." She then added.

"Thata girl, I'm proud of you." Homura soon praised. "Still though you're my friend and friends worry about one another." She then added before ruffling the girl's head in a playful manner.

"H-Homura-san..." Makoto mumbled out in childish embarrassment as her eyes widened for a moment. "This is...just like him..." She thought to herself in a nostalgic manner.

"Hm?" Homura hummed out with an innocent tilt of her head. "Is something wrong?" She then asked.

"N-No. Nothing." Makoto mumbled out in a flustered manner.

"Remember Makoto-senpai, if you need anything, I'll be here for you. It's what friends are for." Homura softly informed her as she pressed the other girl's head into her chest while rubbing her head in a tender manner.

"H-Homura...-san..." Makoto mumbled out in a softer and more relaxed tone while closing her eyes. "This is...nice..." She meanwhile thought.

However...

"JUST MAKE OUT ALREADY!"

"Dude, they aren't a couple."

"Dumbass."

"Oh come on! Look at them!"

"Pervert. Keep it in your head sicko."

"WOULD YOU PLEASE LEAVE YOU STUPID JERKS! WE ARE HAVING A MOMENT!" Homura shouted at the three students, causing them to run away. "...Ignore those comments Makoto-senpai. They mean nothing at this point." She soon quietly requested.

"Hai...they mean nothing at this point..." Makoto immediately responded with a nod of agreement in an even more relaxed tone of voice. "Well, we should get to class. I'll see you around, you two." She then suggested.

"Hai." The two replied with a nod.

"Oh, and the Phantom Thieves? No longer my worry." Makoto informed in the same relaxed and in a slightly dazed manner as she began to walk away...only to bump into the boy nearby, causing his glasses to fall off his face.

"Ah!" Akira yelped out as he fumbled with his glasses, only for it to fall to the ground.

"Oops! I'm sorry, Kurusu-kun!" Makoto apologized as she picked up the glasses before looking at him. "...Wow..." She offhandedly thought at the sight of his appearance without the glasses.

"It's alright." Akira simply replied as he took the glasses and put them back on. "Thank you." He then added.

"Y-Yes. You're welcome." Makoto soon got out as she blushed a little. "Well, I hope you all have fun on your excursions." She then replied.

"We will. Hopefully." Homura replied.

"Oh right, that's tomorrow." Akira got out. "Thanks for the reminder Makoto-kaichou." He then responded with a smile.

"Y-You're welcome." Makoto stammered in a high pitch tone.

The tan skinned girl meanwhile raised an eyebrow to that response. "Huh?" Homura mentally got out in confusion and concern.

"You ok?" Akira soon asked as he went and placed a hand on her forehead.

This however caused the Student Council President to blush from the close proximity. "I...I'm fine!" Makoto squeaked out unlike her usual self.

The tan skinned girl's eyes soon widened at the sight. "...No way..." Homura mentally got out in disbelief at what she was seeing.

"Hey, your face is getting redder. Should I take you to the Nurse's Office?" Akira however pointed out and offered.

Makoto, however, quickly shook her head in response, getting the boy's hand off her forehead, though was still blushing. "N-No no, I-I'm alright!" She responded in a flustered manner.

"She's totally crushing on him." Homura thought in amusement.

"Cute." Akira bluntly thought.

"W-Well, I'll see you around." Makoto mumbled as she fast walked away to class.

"Too easy." Akira chuckled to himself as he walked to class. Unlike certain dense anime protagonists, he prided himself on his lack of ignorance of how people were feeling and well...he was pretty sure he was the first male around her age to touch her.

"Akira..." Homura started as she looked at the Leader. "What the hell?" She bluntly asked.

"What?" Akira innocently asked. "I didn't do anything." He then denied.

Homura couldn't help but laugh as she lightly punched the Leader on the shoulder. "Ass." She playfully insulted.

"Like her's?" Akira quipped out with a smirk as they made their way to class.

What a way to start a morning. A few minutes with a new friend and a laugh. Seems like things were going to go pretty well today.

Meanwhile, Makoto couldn't help but let out a devious smile. "Too easy..." She meanwhile thought as she went to class, despite the blush on her face. "What was that about though?" She however thought in confusion as she tried to remember what happened.

She had to admit the soft hug and head ruffling did feel nice...but for her to be that relaxed...it was unusual to her. This was new, even for her. And her thinking that a boy looked good...that was also new...

Still, what a way to start a morning. Two objectives completed and no one suspected how the cogs were already in motion. Seems like things were going to go pretty well today...if she didn't let herself get distracted again by her friend's soft assets and the boy's handsome looks.

"...Yummy...~" Makoto offhandedly thought with a silly smile and blush on her face as she made her way to class

(Fast Forward)

SLAM!

"You did what to my sister!?" Sae questioned in anger, shock and disbelief to hearing that.

"In my defense you really don't know much about her." Akira awkwardly countered.

"Ugh...You are definitely making up Makoto's comments." Sae soon accused.

"I'll leave that up to your interpretation." Akira sighed before he continued.

(Rewind)

(6/8, Morning)

(Classroom)

"So your social studies trip is tomorrow..." Ushimaru got out as soon as classes started.

As soon as the teacher said that, he noticed many students smiling.

So they thought it was just a mandatory vacation, free from performing their duties to society.

Well, it was time to give them a reality check.

"It's a good chance to think about your future. Be sure you're paying attention... .And you'd better not make a ruckus." Ushimaru instructed. "Am I clear?" Ushimaru stated and questioned. "It will reflect poorly on our school and we can't afford another lawsuit. There's a group going to a television studio this year, correct?" He then advised and questioned.

"I'm guessing most students would choose the TV station." Morgana pointed out. "...But I wouldn't complain about the box factory." He then admitted.

"Because of course you would." Homura got out in quiet amusement.

"...Do you think a box factory has a gift shop?" Asuka idly thought as she looked out the window.

"Shirokage!" Ushimaru suddenly called out, snapping the girl out of her thoughts. "Here's a question for you. With the advent of the color TV, something else started appearing in color. Do you know what it is?" He soon stated and asked.

"Um..." Asuka got out as she began to rack her brain for an answer.

"Looks like you'll have to help Lady Asuka out..." Morgana whispered as the Vice Leader seriously began to think about saying radio as her answer.

Akira was thinking the same thing, having already written down his answer and angling it in just the right way so the Vice Leader could see it in the window's reflection.

"Smared? Oh, uh...Dreams! Yeah, dreams began to appear in color." Asuka answered while mentally wiping the sweat from her brow.

"Exactly. Before, most people's dreams were in black and white. But research shows that once color broadcasts became the norm, dreams started being mostly in color." Ushimaru explained. "What's fascinating is that people see the world in color, regardless of TV's existence. It's strange that our dreams had been in black and white until TV's inception." He then continued.

"That's...actually really cool." Homura admitted.

"You know, I can't imagine living in the past without seeing it in sepia or black and white..." Ann muttered out. "It seems so weird..." She then added.

"In the future, if 3D televisions become normal and let us sense flavor, smell, and heat...Then dreams might become indistinguishable from reality." Ushimaru soon stared as he continued his lecture.

"That's...that's not how 3D TV works." Ann deadpanned.

"Yeah. That 4D. And that's in Destinyland." Akira replied as the Vice Leader sat down, everyone feeling a little smarter after that as classes continued.

(6/8, Lunchtime)

(Shujin Academy, Principal's Office)

And as soon as classes ended for lunch, the Student Council President escorted to her currently least favorite place in the school.

"You...wished to see me sir?" Makoto questioned as she entered the office, holding her back from groaning. This was going to be about her collapse yesterday wasn't-

"Do you have anything to report?" Kobayakawa however asked.

Well that wasn't what she expected. "Excuse me?" Makoto once more questioned.

"Have you found anything on the Phantom Thieves?" Kobayakawa asked again.

"What...? No!" Makoto responded. "I want to talk about that flyer you put up. Why did you post that notice!?" She then asked.

"It was all for your sake." The principal simply answered. "I thought the more information you had, the easier your investigation would become. Now, I ask again, did any information arise about the case I asked you to look into?" He then asked.

Makoto in response sighed. "Nothing yet. I will pass the details along if anything comes up. Right now, there is a more pressing issue..." She got out. "It appears there are students at Shujin who are being threatened by a criminal organization." She then revealed.

"...!?" The principal's eyes widened slightly to that little reveal.

"A student who saw your posting came to us looking for help...I'd like to request a countermeasure." Makoto soon requested.

"I-Isn't this some sort of mistake?" Kobayakawa asked in a nervous tone."I can't believe this would happen to the students of our academy." He then added in denial. "Now is no time for such problems. There is still lingering concern regarding the Phantom Thieves, not to mention our current legal troubles..." He soon ordered.

"But we received a request for help!" Makoto however stated. "He can't be serious can he!?" She meanwhile thought.

"I-I'm rather busy at the moment. If you wish to do something, you will need to act on your own." The principal replied.

"Act on my-" Makoto began before stopping herself. She expected it, but this was still so foolish! "You're not helping me with something so serious!? I am still investigating your case!" She then questioned and reminded.

"W-Well...ah! It works out perfectly!" The principal stammered out. "My intentions have borne fruit. This criminal organization must be the connecting factor." He tried to convince the Student Council President. "If you pursue this criminal issue, you'll surely find clues about the Phantom Thieves!" He soon stated.

"What the hell are you talking about!?" Makoto thought in an incredulous tone. She knew by this point that the principal was an idiot but this was starting to go to the next level. "But that's absurd..." She then got out.

"So...let's say this rumor is true." "The principal got out in a more calm and collected tone. "Do you intend to ignore those students in trouble?" He then questioned.

"I..." Makoto began before hesitating. "...No, I would never." She reluctantly responded.

"Well, your sister would have solved this easily if she were in your position." Kobayakawa then added.

"...!" Makoto's eyes immediately widened to that.

"Please resolve this issue quickly." Kobayakawa soon requested. "My expectations of you are very high. Do not disappoint me." He then advised.

"He did not just bring Sis into this!" Makoto mentally exclaimed as she calmed herself down. "...At the very least, can I request for Homura Shinkukage's help in this matter." She soon requested.

"No." Kobayakawa instantly denied. "Actually...do not tell Shinkukage-kun about this little problem at all." He soon requested.

"Sir!" Makoto exclaimed in disbelief after hearing that.

"Please keep this to yourself but...I doubt Shinkukage-kun's ability to help the school." Kobayakawa soon confessed.

Makoto however raised an eyebrow to that. Even she could tell the tan skinned girl's work was actually improving the school.

"I see that look on your face Niijima-kun. She may be improving the school now, but that will not last I assure you." Kobayakawa explained himself.

"What do you mean?" Makoto soon asked. "He better not saying-" She meanwhile thought, however...

"To be frank...I wish she didn't come up with such an idea." Kobayakawa confessed, causing the Student Council President's eyes to widen. "She is honestly the worst candidate to represent the school due to her association with a dangerous criminal and a known delinquent, her unusual closeness with her roommate to the point of concern, a violent attitude that is not fooling anyone, especially after that little blowout at the volleyball rally, and she has the looks of a third class prostitute. And her committee members are not exemplary in any way except Ichiko Sakura. It is a miracle her committee hasn't collapsed in on itself after the first month." He then got out in a firm manner.

Makoto's eye immediately twitched as she resisted the urge to throttle the man. "Homura-san's right...he is an asshole..." She thought to herself, seething in held back fury. "I...agree, Principal Kobayakawa." She however replied in agreement, though struggled a bit to saying that as she felt like vomiting as a result.

"Thank you. At least I am not the only one." Kobayakawa sighed out in relief.

"You are the only one you tub of lard." Makoto bluntly thought to herself. She couldn't believe she had to listen to him. She really was blind to his bullshit before.

"Now, is that all?" Kobayakawa soon asked, wanting this meeting over with...despite him being the one to call for the meeting.

"...I wish to request for new armbands for the Disciplinary Committee." Makoto soon requested. "The one's given to them were quite old and I am noticing they are falling apart." She then explained.

"Hmm...I don't know...they look perfectly fine to-" Kobayakawa started, however...

"Principal Kobayakawa," Makoto growled as a dark aura began to leak out of her. "I want. Those new armbands. Now~" She slowly demanded.

This in turn caused the Principal to pale. "P-Please calm down, Niijima-kun!" Kobayakawa requested in a panic. "W-Well, I will look into that as soon as I can." He then got out.

Suddenly, the dark aura receded as Makoto let out a breath. "Thank you, sir. Please excuse me." She replied before heading out of the office.

As soon as she left, the principal began to sweat.

That wasn't like Niijima-kun to be so...demanding.

But, as long as she does what is required of her, he need not worry.

Meanwhile, he had bigger fish to fry than some rumors of students being scammed.

(Third Floor Hallway)

She wanted to slam the door hard enough to break it, but that would ruin what was graffitied on it and showed everyone what it truly was.

Honestly, the graffiti at this point was looking more and more accurate to her now.

"...What a dick..." Makoto muttered to herself. "Maybe Homura-san's free for lunch..." She then decided, now needing stress relief from the discussion she had with him as she stormed down the hallways.

She could also use a break from her planning as she made her way to the stairs.

(Classroom)

Meanwhile, at Class 2-D, the two roommates were enjoying their lunch when the Vice Leader noticed something.

"Where's Ann-chan?" Asuka asked in a curious manner. She had gone to the bathroom earlier and she only just noticed that some of her friends were gone.

"She's eating in the courtyard. Said she wanted some fresh air." Homura informed. "And Akira's looking into Takanashi's boss right now." She then added.

"Takanashi?" Makoto repeated as she made herself known.

"Ah, Makoto-senpai." Homura casually greeted as she entered her classroom.

"Hey." Makoto sighed out as she came over to them. "So what was that about a Takanashi?" She soon asked.

"Erm...A friend. Nothing you should worry about." Homura answered.

"Are you ok Makoto-chan?" Asuka meanwhile asked in concern, quickly changing the subject before the other brunette could inquire further.

Makoto however sighed again in response as she sat down next to the tan skinned girl. "The Principal is making me do more dirty work." She bluntly revealed without a care. "He's really being an asshole about it..." She then muttered.

"Oh for the love of- Are you kidding me!? Even after what happened yesterday!?" Homura exclaimed.

"Unfortunately," Makoto replied. "He didn't even bring it up..." She then revealed in a saddened tone.

"Really? Come on! He's gonna work you to death!" Homura exclaimed once more.

"That would actually be preferable than being around him for more than five minutes." Makoto grumbled out.

"What is he making you do, anyways Makoto-chan?" Asuka meanwhile asked.

"...Something impossible..." Makoto vaguely responded in even more frustration.

"That seems to be a running theme..." Homura deadpanned, though before anyone could respond...

GRRRRR!

"...The principal pulled you to his office before you could eat, didn't he?" Homura assumed. "Go back and get your lunch, Makoto-senpai." She then requested.

"I'll go do-" Makoto began, only to stop herself as the gears in her brain started to turn.

"...Did you forget your lunch Makoto-chan?" Asuka soon asked.

Makoto at that moment realized...she did indeed forget it at home. "Ugh..." She groaned out in frustration as she palmed her face with both her hands.

"Oh, don't worry, you can have some of..." Asuka began...only to notice that both their bentos were empty apart from grains of rice. "Ours. Sorry..." She awkwardly apologized. "H-Here, I go get something for you from the cafeteria, me treat!" She then offered before running out of the classroom.

"W-Wait you don't...and she's gone." Makoto started before sighing at the girl out of range. "...Does Asuka-san know where the cafeteria is?" She then asked.

"She can figure it out." Homura replied in amusement.

"So, where are you going tomorrow?" Makoto had to ask. "I went to the local prison last year" She then revealed.

"The TV Station." Homura replied. "So why the prison?" She then asked.

"Well, my father used to be in the police force, so I got interested in going to the prison." Makoto replied.

"...Used to?" Homura repeated. "Oh, he's retired then." She soon guessed.

Makoto however gained a saddened look to that as she shook her head in a negative manner.

Homura saw that and winced, realizing what that meant. "Ah, I'm sorry Makoto-senpai, my condolences..." She muttered in a sympathetic tone.

The Student Council President's eyes widened to hearing that before she softened her expression. "It's been years since then. It's fine." Makoto sighed out.

"...Why is the box factory an option?" Homura soon asked to change the subject.

"Principal's idea. You can never have too many boxes." Makoto simply answered as she rolled her eyes, just as the other brunette returned with food.

GRRRR!

Just as the Student Council President's stomach growled...loudly. "Ah." Makoto awkwardly got out.

"Here you go, Makoto-chan." Asuka offered as she placed the food on the table. "There weren't a lot of people in the cafeteria so-" She then started explaining, however...

RING RING RING!

Makoto simply sighed as she got up from her seat. "I can eat some of it on my way to class and afterwards. Thank you, Asuka-san." She replied as she took her food and left the classroom.

"Sorry..." Asuka however apologized.

"The principal took up too much of her time..." Homura groaned as other students started entering the classroom. "Who do we have now?" She soon asked.

"...Kawakami-sensei...?" Asuka hesitantly guessed. "No, wait, where are our schedules..." She then muttered out as she searched her bag just before classes started.

(6/8, Afternoon)

(Shujin Academy, Classroom)

Kawakami considered herself a good teacher...

You know, if you excluded the whole maid thing and the story of misery that was her life but at the very least she wanted kids to learn deep, deep under all that tired energy she had slogging through each and every lesson.

However, she noticed Akira, Asuka, Homura and Ann on their phones. They tried to hide it by putting their hands under their desks but it wasn't fooling anyone.

But one look from Akira and a knowing smirk made her avert her gaze away and focus on the rest of her class.

She used to consider herself a good teacher...

[Shut7heFUp: So what kind of person would be bigger than Madarame?]

[Negative8Degrees: Taking care of a national celebrity is quite hard to top...]

[Sweetkat06: Hmmm...I wonder...I guess it'd have to be someone who's the current talk of the town?]

[FireGirl20: That's way too vague.]

[All4Painting: Do we have anything more specific?]

[TheWildJ0ker: A crooked politician?]

[All4Painting: Ah, yes, that is an interesting line of thought.]

[Shut7heFUp: Is that...all of them?]

[Negative8Degrees: I don't have anyone connected to the government though...]

[SushiRoll23: Well, who is everyone talking about?]

[Negative8Degress: Just the recent rise of scam victims. I already have someone working on it but all we can do is wait.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Has anyone made headway on figuring out Principal Megadump's distortion?]

[SushiRoll23: No...I tried mansion, garden, gym, and Olympus.]

[Negative8Degrees: Olympus? What made you think of the home of the Greek Gods?]

[SushiRoll23: Certain. Former. Olympic. Medalist.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Oh.]

[FireGirl20: I really hope we find it so. The Principal didn't even care that Makoto-senpai passed out yesterday! :( ]

[Shut7heFUp: For real!? She frickin' passed out! Shouldn't he care for his "pet's" health!?]

[FireGirl20: Can we not call her a pet?]

[Shut7heFUp: Sorry, but that's prolly what he sees her as in his Palace.]

[Shut7heFUp: WHICH WE CAN'T GET TO!]

[Sweetkat06: Why are we having so much trouble with the principal!?]

[SushiRoll23: This sucks...]

[Negative8Degrees: I wish I could help, but I never really met the man.]

[All4Painting: Neither have I unfortunately, though he seems to be a most vile man.]

[FireGirl20: Yeah. But whether it's from sheer dumbassery or actual contempt is what worries me...]

[FireGirl20: In any case, focus on class.]

Akira could only sigh before focusing back on class. "Looks like our next target won't be falling into our lap like our previous targets." Morgana stated. "We need to be more proactive now." He then advised.

The Leader nodded at that. "I wonder if Mishima has some leads..." He thought. He really needed to hang out with the admin soon.

Maybe tonight.

(6/8, After School)

(Shujin Academy, Classroom)

RING RING RING!

Another day of classes soon finished up as the members of the group got together to chat a bit before heading out to do their own thing.

After watching Ann drag Akira into hanging out with her, the Vice Leader knew what she was doing today while stretching her limbs. "I'm gonna hang out with Ryuji-kun today to vent a bit from what we learned about today." Asuka informed as she got her bag. "And I'm gonna beat Psycho Break!" She meanwhile thought in a determined manner and a fire in her eyes.

Homura in response nodded to that. "Alright Sis. Be careful." She replied in a sisterly manner as she got up. "As for me, Disciplinary Committee duty call." She then added.

"Alright, see you tonight!" Asuka got out as they went their separate ways.

(Disciplinary Committee Board Room)

"Um...Where's everyone else?" Ichiko asked as she looked around the empty room. "I swear, I always make sure I'm the last one here!" She then added in confusion.

"They are already out fulfilling their duties." Homura answered as she entered the room behind the other girl.

"Oh." Ichiko replied before shrugging. "...Well here you-" She then started as she went to hand over her report, however...

"Actually, this is perfect." Homura replied, interrupting her committee member.

Click!

"Why did you lock the door?" Ichiko asked before her eyes widened. "OMG! Are you going to have your way with me!?" She soon guessed in disgust.

"No." Homura bluntly responded as she made her way to her desk. "Ichiko, I want to talk about your attendance at meetings." She soon requested as she narrowed her eyes as she sat down in her seat.

"I turn up." Ichiko replied.

"For about ten seconds though. As soon as you give your report, you leave." Homura stated. "Not to mention your reports themselves." She then added.

"You never really told us what to write for the report." Ichiko pointed out.

"Then ask the others." Homura soon suggested. "You are supposed to report any problems you've noticed around the school. Maybe there's a hole in the rules or, I don't know, anything other than 'Everything is fine.'" She then instructed in slight frustration.

"Like Makoto Niijima passing out yesterday?" Ichiko suggested. "You know, I heard it was because she collapsed from her own ego." She then informed.

Upon hearing that, Homura took a very deep breath to keep herself calm and not wring the lucky girl's neck. "Ichiko..." She soon started. "I was there. She collapsed from lack of sleep, stress and guilt from recent events. So please show some tact." She soon revealed and requested.

"R-Right. Sorry." Ichiko winced out in an uncomfortable manner.

"It's fine. You were just ignorant and listened to the masses." Homura sighed out. "But still, your behavior and attitude is a serious problem. I'm afraid if this continues, I'll have to kick you out." She then stated her warning.

However, the lucky girl gave the tan skinned girl a devious smile. "...You know you can't." Ichiko pointed out.

Homura in turn raised an eyebrow in response. "Excuse me?" She soon asked.

"The principal is keeping a close eye on this committee is he not?" Ichiko questioned.

"...Right." Homura answered with a nod. "I apologize Ichiko, I just-" She soon started.

"No, let me speak now Homura-chan." Ichiko interrupted. "You see, if I get kicked out, Principal Kobayakawa will see it as a failure on your part and kick you out of the committee, or maybe shut it down all together. Everyone here knows we're only hanging by a thread." She then informed.

"Ugh, I know that..." Homura groaned out as she rubbed the bridge of her nose.

"So you can't do shit about me, can you?" Ichiko soon stated.

"No, just the stress from what happened yesterday with Makoto-senpai got to me since I know the Principal is putting a lot of pressure on her to find the Phantom Thieves..." Homura replied.

"Well, I don't give a shit." Ichiko bluntly stated. "She's done nothing for me, why should I care for her?" She then asked.

"Ichiko...!" Homura growled out, standing up from her seat with her hands on the desk.

"Go on, I know you want to hit me." Ichiko got out with a smile. "But I have a little thing called my father. He'll make sure you'll pay for my medical bills plus interest." She then stated.

Homura in response shook her head to that. "No, no violence." She responded while taking another deep breath. "...You are more cunning than you look, you know that?" She then pointed out.

"Flattery gets you nowhere. I'm only looking out for number one, Homura-chan." Ichiko confessed.

"And...you approve of what the principal's doing? Just in general like with Kamoshida and current events." Homura questioned and explained.

"As far as I get my recommendation." Ichiko simply replied with a smile. "But yeah, I don't approve of everything the fat man is doing." She then admitted.

"Well, at least you're not completely evil..." Homura mentally deadpanned. "You...You genuinely don't care, do you?" She soon asked.

"Not really. So...let's make a deal." Ichiko soon suggested, causing the other girl to perk up. "Show me something to make me care about you and this farce. Show me something other than empty promises and dreams. And maybe then I'll start trying." She soon offered.

"Like what exactly?" Homura soon asked with a raised eyebrow.

Ichiko in response shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe a few more friends or maybe change something about yourself. Be a bit more Elegant, Mature and Understanding." She then suggested.

"Noted." Homura replied with a nod.

"Thank you. Glad to have this sorted out." Ichiko got out with a smile that really irritated the tan skinned girl. "And you know what, I'll go on my first patrol around the school since you've been a nice, obedient little girl." She then decided as she patted the Disciplinary Head's head...like a child. "I'll see you around, Homura-chan." She then concluded with a wink before walking off, the tan skinned girl hearing haughty laughter as she went off.

"I feel like...I lost that fight..." Homura couldn't help but think.

Still, it was something after all this time. And Homura knew that deep down the girl is a good person but...she just needed to break that self-centered attitude.

"I promise...I'll live up to your standards." Homura whispered out with a frown.

CRACK!

...

...

...

"...Where's the thing?" Homura thought. "W-What the hell!? W-Where's the thing that tells me I made a bond!?" She mentally asked in confusion.

"Hmm...It seems that this bond isn't mutual just yet." Wolverine advised. "It may be one day, but as of now, you just wasted your time. I bet she just went home too." She then added.

"..." Homura only remained silent as her body began to shake.

"Still, you heard what she referred to. Elegance, Maturity and Understanding. You'll need to work further on those." Wolverine soon advised.

Homura in response sighed to that. "Noted...better see if there's a book to help me improve one of those." She muttered as she then decided to head for the library.

But even with this happening, Homura felt as though her Understanding increased as a result.

(Sakamoto Residence)

"Are you really sure you wanna be here?" Ryuji asked as he let the girl into his room. "My mom still has that controller bruise from last time..." He then added.

"Hai, I'm determined to beat that game." Asuka replied with a fire in her eyes. "And to vent this time with what happened to Makoto-chan." She then added as she sat down cross legged.

"Well, true...and at least she's out this time..." The dyed blond sighed out. "I'll go fire up the game then." Ryuji replied as he went to do as such.

"Where were we up to again?" Asuka soon asked.

"We were half way in." Ryuji replied while the game started up.

"Right." Asuka replied with a nod as she was handed the controller. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, now let's do this!" Ryuji declared as the Vice Leader started the game.

Soon enough, Asuka was back into the flow of the game...which consisted of screaming, shooting and burning stuff.

"BURN BABY BURN!" Asuka roared. "MWHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!" She began manically laughing.

"...Remind me to keep you away from fire!" Ryuji awkwardly remarked.

"Too late! DIE DEMON SPAWNS!" Asuka shouted out as she blasted another monster dead with a shotgun.

"Well at least you're getting better." Ryuji then pointed out.

"Thank you!" Asuka happily replied as she remained focused on the game.

In the end, after blasting the final boss with a rocket launcher and watching the ending, Asuka felt as though her Courage increased, causing her to grin. "Woohoo! I did it!" She soon cheered in excitement.

"...You know I have the DLC, right?" Ryuji soon pointed

"...What's a DLC?" Asuka asked.

"Downloadable Content." Ryuji answered.

"...So I haven't finished the game." Asuka soon realized.

"Well, technic- and you're already diving into it." Ryuji sighed out. "You're really becoming a gamer." He then added in a joking manner.

"I'm gonna clear this with no continues!" Asuka however declared in a confident manner.

27 deaths later...

"Huh, you're really shit at stealth..." Ryuji got out.

"Why don't I have weapons yet!?" Asuka meanwhile cried while dropping her head in depression.

"Uh...shouldn't you be heading home at some point." Ryuji soon pointed out.

"...Three more tries." Asuka replied. "I also want to apologize to your Mom again when she gets back." She then added in a more solemn tone.

"Oh, you should've said so earli-" Ryuji's mother began, only for...

"EEP!" Asuka yelped out as she almost threw the controller again before stopping herself just in time. "A-Ah, S-Sakamoto-san, g-good afternoon." She soon greeted in an awkward manner.

The Sakamoto mother meanwhile giggled to that in amusement. "It is not a problem Shirokage-chan." She replied.

"Why do you keep comin' outta nowhere, mom!?" Ryuji however got out while palming his face.

"Just having my fun." The Sakamoto mother replied. "Anyways, I have to put away groceries. Have fun you two." She then informed.

"Oh! I'll help out!" Asuka offered as she got up from her seat.

With that, the day continued on.

(Niijima Residence)

Makoto soon made it home to see that her sister wasn't back yet, causing her to sigh in slight depression. "As expected..." She muttered she made her way to her room.

It had started to hurt to see that Sae wasn't home. It did hurt when it began, but she got used to it eventually, but now those wounds were beginning to open up again.

"Asshole principal..." Makoto growled out in frustration as she laid on her bed after changing into her pajamas.

However, she couldn't help but be reminded of what she was doing.

For all the insults and negativity the principal had for the tan skinned girl...what she was doing was way worse toward her...the first real person to call her a friend...

"Friend..." Makoto muttered as she looked at her ceiling as the tan skinned girl came to her mind. "Why does she act that way?" She mentally wondered. "...Could she actually care about me?" She then added in her head before remembering the tan skinned girl ruffling her head and the hug.

...It was an incredibly soft and comfortable hug though.

That immediately caused Makoto to blush scarlet as she tightly hugged her pillow and scrunch up her body while the tan skinned girl's voice began echoing in her mind.

"Thata girl, I'm proud of you."

"Still though you're my friend and friends worry about one another."

"Remember Makoto-senpai, if you need anything, I'll be here for you. It's what friends are for."

"Ah, I'm sorry Makoto-senpai, my condolences..."

"...Why is this so confusing..." Makoto mumbled out into her pillow. "The voice is gone...but now I'm more confused than ever..." She then confessed to herself as she tightened her hug.

It was common human decency...even if no one else really treated her that way. Why was she so confused over something like that!?

She knew the tan skinned girl was a Phantom Thief, no matter how much said girl denied it.

But why did it hurt every time she thought about it?

"Homura-san. . .I know you may deny it, but I really got to know...at least for closure..." Makoto told herself as she looked out the window. "...I hope we can remain friends though..." She however thought in concern and growing fear.

But she knew.

She knew there was no way that was going to happen.

"Is this...actually the right thing though?" Makoto soon thought all of a sudden.

No, it had to be, right?

I mean, what was the point if she gave up after finally finding her resolve?

That made her weak.

Right?

Ugh, she'll figure it out tomorrow. She was exhausted now.

(6/8, Evening)

(Yongen-Jaya, Backstreets)

The Leader was just returning from hanging out with the admin of the Phan-Site, feeling exhausted from what he experienced. "Did he not learn anything from Operation Maidwatch?" He thought with a tired sigh.

"Hey Akira," Morgana greeted as he made himself seen. "Didn't Lady Yumi ask you to investigate a suspicious man around here?" He then reminded.

"Almost forgot." Akira admitted. "Let's look around then." He then decided as the not cat got into his bag.

Soon enough, he found a suspicious-looking man with a backpack standing down an alleyway near the Medical Clinic. "That man looks really shady...Are you sure you want to approach him?" Morgana asked in concern.

Akira nodded before he approached the man. "Hello. So...I heard you sell some good stuff." He soon stated.

"Heh, well, you've come to the right place." The suspicious man got out as he took off his backpack. "I've got shiitake, enokitake, porcini...ah, I also got a trufflesomes too." He soon informed and listed off his products.

"...Wait, what?" Akira got out in confusion as he looked at the relatively normal items. "A-Aren't you...?" He then started.

"What? Ah, shit. It happened again." The no-longer-suspicious man grumbled out. "Sorry if I look suspicious but these are my only clean clothes right now. I sell legal mushrooms, kid. Even if I did, I'd never sell to minors." He then apologized and explained.

"Y-You just sell normal mushrooms." Akira got out in disbelief before looking behind his back. "I can see the market from here." He then added.

"Yeah, but they gouge the innocent people out of quality mushrooms. Here, try some." The Mushroom Guy offered as he gave the boy some of his product.

Well, he didn't expect to be taking mushrooms from some random guy in a dark alleyway today...or any day for that matter but...well, you only live once...

After taking a deep breath, he downed the mushrooms and closed his eyes, just waiting for the demons to attack.

However, they didn't come. Instead, the Leader could taste the mushrooms and...holy shit. "They're...They're delicious!" Akira admitted in an impressed tone, feeling as though his Guts went up as a result.

"I know, right? Best damn fungus in Tokyo. If ya want more, you know who to see." The Mushroom Guy got out with a winning smile, his teeth shining even in the evening light.

"I will." Akira assured him with a nod before walking away. "Huh...he was...he was actually nice." He soon got out, a little stunned that something nice came out of the situation. Well, he better inform the light grey haired girl that-

"Hey bitch! Where's my money!?" A rude voice bluntly asked.

"Of course..." Akira muttered to himself as he quickly hid into the shadows.

"I-I can't! All I've been buying is stuff to grow mushrooms! I need to pay rent!" The Mushroom Guy called out.

"Look, you wouldn't be able to grow that shit without me so either pay your royalties or I'll have my friends...convince you to pay up." The Threatening Man growled, causing the mushroom seller to stumble back.

"I-I'm sorry, Kawano-san." The Mushroom Guy fearfully and meekly replied before handing over a stack of bills.

"Hey, didn't I tell you to call me Kenji? I'll come back for the rest." The gouger got out before laughing as he left the area.

Meanwhile, Akira and Morgana glared at the man from their hiding spot.

"Looks like someone's gouging him out of tons of money." Morgana muttered out. "Kenji Kawano, huh. Looks like we have a target." He then stated.

Akira nodded. "Yeah. I want those mushrooms in my breakfast curry too so like hell I'm letting this ass take it away." He soon admitted as he quickly messaged Yumi about the situation.

"You look pretty tired, Akira. You should head to bed." Morgana advised.

The glasses-wearing boy wanted to sigh, but he knew that Morgana was right and began making his way to , just as he was about to unlock the door to let himself in, Akira suddenly stopped and looked around.

"Is something wrong?" Morgana asked.

"No...Just...nothing..." The glasses-wearing boy answered as he frowned. He didn't know why but...something felt off.

Wait...

Were the streets always this empty at this time?

BZZT! BZZT!

[Warning: Shinobi Kekkei detected]

That immediately caused Akira's eyes to widen before narrowing them as he glanced around to scan the area.

CHOP!

Suddenly, his body locked up and collapsed to the ground, just managing to throw his bag and Morgana off of him before he crushed them.

"JOKER!" Morgana exclaimed out, however, he kept himself hidden as he saw several people approach the boy. "Who in the world!?" He muttered in confusion.

Akira tried to stand up, to fight back, only for him to breathe in something, causing him to lose strength and hit the ground again. "Dammit...What..." He got out in a slurred tone as he tried to look up at his attackers.

"Ara ara...~ What a cute little student you are..." Was all Akira managed to hear before letting the embrace of unconsciousness take him.

(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

"I'm back." Homura called out in a casual manner as she entered the apartment, closing the door behind her.

"Hey Homu-nee..." Asuka greeted in an empty tone. "Glad to see you aren't a failure..." She then muttered.

"...Huh?" Homura responded in confusion.

"Nothing, just never buy DLC..." Asuka grumbled out with a pout on her face

"...Is it like that TLC thing I've been hearing about?" Homura guessed. However, before the two could continue their conversation, their phones vibrated.

[Shut7heFUp: Hey, we're all goin' to the TV studio, right?]

[SushiRoll23: Yepperonney! Why do you ask?]

[Shut7heFUp: I'm thinking we might find our next target there.]

[Negative8Degrees: Smart thinking, Ryuji-san. I do have informants at some TV Stations. Tell me, where are you going?]

[FireGirl20: Akasaka Mitsuke.]

[Negative8Degrees: Perfect. I'll have my informant on standby. Just ask for Weaver if you stumble across anything.]

[Sweetkat06: Yeah! You always hear about celebs being involved in all sorts of shady stuff!]

[FireGirl20: Well, when you're that rich and powerful, you want to make sure you stay rich and powerful...as well as show it off to others.]

[All4Painting: Many famous people do think they can do anything...]

[Shut7heFUp: Hey, that's why we're around. To show 'em otherwise.]

[SushiRoll23: Wait, does that apply to me and Ann-chan since we're models?]

[Sweetkat06: *Most]

[Sweetkat06: Anyway, we get to observe a live recording of a show, right?]

[Shut7heFUp: Ooh, maybe we're gonna be on TV!]

[FireGirl20: We'll just be in the crowd, remember? Any TV appearance would be for like, two seconds.]

[All4Painting: Hm. Try not to pull any fanciful stunts to garner attention, OK?]

[Negative8Degrees: Yes, don't draw attention to yourselves.]

[SushiRoll23: We won't. Isn't that right, Akira-kun?]

[SushiRoll23: Akira-kun?]

[SushiRoll23: Huh...Akira-kun's not online...]

[Shut7heFUp: What?]

[FireGirl20: Really? I just assumed he was here. He always is.]

[Shut7heFUp: Ah, he's prolly asleep. Nothin' to worry about. Night.]

"I guess he wanted to wake up early." Asuka assumed with a shrug. "Well, I'm gonna go out for a bit, Homu-nee," She then informed with a smile.

"Where are you going?" Homura had to ask.

"Just exploring. Maybe some shopping." Asuka replied.

"Well, you better come home by ten. We definitely have to get to school early tomorrow." Homura got out.

Asuka in response nodded. "Ok. Do you want anything?" She replied and asked.

"Eh, I'm feeling something savory tonight." Homura responded.

"Alright, I'll pick up something nice while I'm out. See you later." Asuka got out before heading out.

BZZT! BZZT!

"Hm?" Homura hummed out as she took out her phone. "A private message from Akira?" She muttered with a raised eyebrow before opening it.

[TheWildJ0ker: Homura.]

[TheWildJ0ker: 35.6977° N, 139.7709° E]

[TheWildJ0ker: Please come alone.]

Homura dropped her phone in an instant as she recognized the coordinates.

"Shit..." Homura muttered. "Fuck, shit...no no no!" She then got out in a panic before quickly getting dressed.

That wasn't from Akira. He wouldn't have put the coordinates for that place.

No...That was from the enemy.

Hebijo.

(Hebijo Hideout)

Akira slowly woke up, feeling the cold hard floor on his face and his arms and legs bound.

"Who doesn't lock their phone these days?" He heard a childish voice ask.

"Who cares? It made it easier to set the trap." Akira then heard another, more emotionless voice.

"Oh, your voice is back to normal Hikage-chan." A polite voice noticed.

"Bite me Yomi." Hikage responded in a blunt and annoyed tone.

"Looks like the emotions are still there Haruka-sama." The smallest one of the group pointed out.

"It seems that way Mirai." The busty one replied in amusement.

Wanting to hide that he was conscious, Akira slowly turned his head and opened his eyes just enough to make it seem that his eyes were closed, but able to see his kidnapper's faces.

And well...he didn't really need to.

He now knew he was dealing with shinobi...simply from seeing that three out of four of them had shinobi-level boobs.

The one with the eyepatch was going to hit puberty hard.

Anyways, he had all the info he needed to begin formulating a plan. The girls should've taken his dagger and his phone, and used said phone to lay a trap. They obviously knew that he was friends with shinobi or a Phantom Thief...or both...but now he had a time limit before Asuka, Homura and/or Yumi came here to save him.

It was a bad situation through and through, and he just needed one more piece of the puzzle before he could act, however they made one mistake.

They may have bound his limbs, but they didn't gag his mouth.

And that was going to be their downfall.

"Ngh...the back of my neck..." Akira purposely groaned out to get the girls attention. "So I'm guessing this isn't some Yandere harem scenario, is it?" He then got out.

"Ara ara~ Aren't you a bold one~" Haruka cooed out in amusement as she leaned down to look at the boy.

"My god she's even bigger than the shinobi..." Akira thought as he couldn't help but stare. He didn't think that was humanly possible.

"Ah, you're awake." Hikage however realized before looking at the bustiest girl of the group. "Haruka, you must've given him too light of a dose." She then pointed out.

"Thank you Takemi... " Akira meanwhile thought after hearing that bit, his Staunch-level Guts pulling through.

"You seem pretty calm for a civilian." Yomi meanwhile pointed out in a polite manner.

"No use panicking." Akira countered. "Though I can admit I wasn't expecting this." He then added.

"I suggest you don't try escaping or anything." Mirai meanwhile advised.

"I'll try not to." Akira responded, a slight bit of sarcasm in his tone. "So, I have to ask, why me?" He soon asked.

"You don't get to ask questions." Hikage simply replied before taking out her phone.

"Alright then. Then help me sit up. I can't talk like this and I'd rather not interact with feet." Akira soon got out and requested.

"Hai hai~" Haruka replied in an amused tone as she took a hold of the boy, purposely placing his head in between her breasts as she did so.

BOING!

This meanwhile caused the Leader to blush at how soft they were. "You're a kidnap victim, Akira. Don't. Develop. Titshome Syndrome. I mean, Stockboobs! Stockholm! Dammit!" Akira thought to himself before being free to see his captors properly. "...Why is there a six year old here?" He soon asked as he looked at the smallest girl there.

"WHAT WAS THAT!?" Mirai soon exclaimed in fury as the second year blondeheld her back from socking their victim.

"Don't kill him." Hikage got out while fiddling on her phone as the boy studied the area he was in.

"Ah, this is our training area..." Akira thought with a frown as he noticed some of the new additions to it. "They must've been using it as their base. Homura did say it was a Hebijo hideout." He soon added in his head. "Hold on...You're from Hebijo Academy, aren't you." He then guessed.

"Hm, really?" Yomi hummed out to hearing that. "How did you come to that conclusion?" She soon asked.

"A...wolverine told me." Akira answered with a nervous smile. "...You guys have talking animals right?" He soon asked.

However, before anyone could respond...

TAP!

"Right on time." Haruka got out. "Everyone, get into position now. And you," She soon ordered as she then placed the boy head underneath her breasts. "You're coming with me~" She then added.

The other shinobi quickly nodded as the second year blonde hit the lights, bathing the area in darkness and forcing the boy...to feel the busty girl's assets as she moved him somewhere.

"Stay quiet, or you'll never speak again." Hikage whispered in his ear.

Akira could only grit his teeth as he knew he had to comply.

At that moment, the familiar figure of the tan skinned girl entered the area and turned the lights on to see the girls. "Haruka, Hikage, Yomi, Mirai..." Homura listed off in a dead serious tone as she saw the girls mentioned scrambling about. "So you're the ones..." She soon accused.

"...Your plan was to make a dramatic entrance and reveal weren't you?" Akira deadpanned.

"Aesthetics, Akira-kun. Aesthetics." Haruka simply replied in amusement as she continued her hold on the boy while laying her breasts atop his head.

"Akira!" Homura exclaimed as she glared at her team. "What the hell!? Why is he doing here!?" She soon growled out.

"So you're not denying you don't know him." Haruka noted as she smiled. "Well, that only makes things easier." She then stated.

"He's a friend from school. A civilian, you idiots!" Homura immediately countered with a frown.

"Really now? Nothing more?" Yomi asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing more." Homura assured.

The Hebijo girls only looked at each other and nodded. "...I'm sorry, but you've only confirmed your guilt!" Mirai accusingly declared as she threw a photo over to their leader, who caught it without looking.

Only to instantly drop it once she saw what was on it before narrowing her eyes. "Why do you have that!?" Homura questioned.

"An informant has given us evidence of your activities since your arrival." Mirai replied.

However, this confused Homura. "...Me in a dressing room is evidence?" She asked in a deadpan tone.

"Ah! Wrong photo." Mirai quickly got out before throwing the correct photo.

"...This is just a picture of you, Mirai, in a...what the actual hell...!?" Homura started, however...

BANG!

And thus, the photo became confetti. "Did you sneak that in there, Haruka-sama!?" Mirai accused in disbelief while putting away her gun, the boy sweatdropping at the display.

"Sorry, here's the real photo." Haruka got out in amusement as she threw it over to the tan skinned girl. It was of her training the boy in the middle of the forest. "A mere friend wouldn't train them like a shinobi." She then stated. "So we've come to two conclusions. Either your cute little student here has managed to get you to train him or...he's a shinobi himself, which is quite rare these days." She soon concluded.

"Why am I not surprised?" Akira mentally deadpanned to hearing and learning that last bit.

"Ugh, just photos of me and him training doesn't prove anything." Homura countered in annoyance. "Wait, why are you even here to begin with?" She soon asked before narrowing her eyes. "If this is about the reports, the reason they were lackluster is because there hasn't been much to report." She then stated.

"Yes, that may be correct. However, we have evidence that says the opposite." Haruka informed.

"You're talking about the recent actions of those Phantom Thieves guys aren't you?" Homura however stated while crossing her arms over her chest.

"Well, we do have our suspicions." Yomi admitted. "But first off...do you mind explaining the duffle bag hidden in the back of your closet?" She soon asked.

The tan skinned girl's eyes widened as she realized what that meant. "So you guys werethe ones that broke into my apartment! What the hell!?" Homura declared in anger.

"Well, you wouldn't exactly let us in, would you?" Hikage soon asked.

"Of course I would if you just approached me you dumbasses!" Homura countered.

"Okay then, so we can go right now?" Mirai then asked.

"Yes!" Homura responded in annoyance.

"And show your roommate all those guns and drugs you've been hiding from her." Yomi soon suggested.

"She's out right now." Homura informed.

"And how do we know you're not lying? Or that we can just until she comes back?" Haruka questioned. "And hey, why don't we just hand it over to the police?" She then added.

"Getting off topic." Hikage bluntly pointed out in annoyance as she continued fiddling with her phone. "Look, we have enough evidence to back up the claim that you have not been performing your duties. This past week you've done nothing but hang out with other people, obviously not with the goal of squeezing out what they know about the mental shutdowns, and wasted time you should be using to look into the incidents. You even disappeared for several hours yesterday. We have half a mind to head back to Hebijo right now and report to Suzune-sensei about everything. You'll return to Hebijo a disgrace." She then explained.

"...!" Homura's eyes in turn widened to hearing that.

She wasn't worried about returning in disgrace, but she was freaking out about being forced to return.

"That is...if you have not betrayed the Academy and have gone renegade on us." Haruka pointed out. "So tell me, Homura-chan...what have you been doing since you left? If it does not match all the evidence we have, your cute little student and anyone else he knows disappears without a trace." She soon questioned and stated as she playfully held the boy, however her eyes promised something much darker.

Akira knew that the tan skinned girl was in the position where she had no choice but to tell the truth, and that was basically a death sentence for all the Phantom Thieves. What could he do right now? What could he say to solve this!?

Homura, give up.

I am...

I have a confession.

Dammit, why couldn't he think of anything else!? They were all practically the same option!

The Leader closed his eyes, let in a deep breath before finally deciding. "...Homura, give up." Akira suddenly got out, surprising the shinobi. "We've been caught." He sighed out.

"Akira, no, don't-!" Homura began.

"There's no point!" Akira countered. "We can't hide it from them anymore. They've won." He then stated.

"Hm, I'm glad you're being quite cooperative, Akira-kun." Haruka got out with a coy smile. "I think you might deserve a reward for it~" She seductively added while using her finger to rub the boy's chest.

"Oi! Don't you touch him like that!" Homura called out as she summoned her katanas. Instantly, everyone else took out their weapons. "Hurt him and I hurt you." She soon threatened.

"Now now Homura-chan~ I'm just playing around~" Haruka responded while licking her lips. "I mean he is a cutie~" She then confessed.

"However, we won't be playing for so long." Yomi warned. "Now, tell us the truth." She soon ordered.

"Yeah! Why does he know all this info?" Mirai soon asked.

Well, he didn't expect to get this far.

Okay, the next step in Akira's brilliant plan to Not Fucking Die Along with his Friends is...

I am her Confidant.

I'm her boyfriend.

I was just lucky.

"I am her...Confidant." Akira lied.

"...Excuse me?" Haruka responded with a raised eyebrow while hugging the boy.

"Yes." Homura spoke up. "I...I screwed up, okay? He managed to find out I'm a shinobi." She soon confessed.

"You what!?" Mirai exclaimed in disbelief.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't careful enough." Homura sighed out.

"And you didn't report this to Hebijo why?" Hikage asked.

"You know what they'll do to me." Homura countered. "They would kill him and they would punish me too." She then reminded. "And...I have a lead." She soon revealed in a more serious tone.

However, this surprised the girls. "Y-You do!?" Yomi got out in shock.

"Someone calling themselves Black Mask." Homura informed. "Nothing truly concrete, not worth putting on a report just yet but there is evidence of their existence." She then explained.

"And what would that be?" Hikage questioned.

"...A duffle bag full of shit." Homura bluntly responded. "Using a bag stolen from Ryuji Sakamoto, a student at Shujin. This person stored all sorts of strange things like fake guns and barely legal medicine. I checked every item myself, but they showed no fingerprints." She then explained.

"And you took it?" Mirai asked.

"It must be very important to carry all that stuff, so I decided to delay them." Homura responded. "They'll probably rush to gather all their supplies and equipment back, meaning they'll make mistakes and that's where I'll catch them." She then explained in a serious tone.

"And what do you plan to do once you find them?" Haruka soon questioned.

Okay. One last thing. He just needed one more sentence to get them off their backs.

Destroy them.

Capture and break them.

What do you think?

"...What do you think?" Akira soon answered in a vague yet serious tone.

Everyone remained silent as Homura's teammates thought about everything the two Thieves had just "revealed".

"...Fine. If that's the story you're telling." Haruka finally decided before sighing. "I guess this was all for nothing." She then concluded.

"...So in the end, it really was all just a huge dumb coincidence?" Mirai soon asked as she blinked a couple of times.

"I...I guess so." Yomi muttered out.

"Still, it's a failure on my part. I should've put that type of info in my reports. I just didn't want to waste Suzune-sensei's time with unnecessary information since I don't have all the details. I want it to be comprehensive and not simply just random bits of info." Homura sighed out her explanation. "I won't next time, I promise." She then reassured.

"Uh...Can I be untied now? This rope is chafing my wrists." Akira soon requested.

The second year blonde was about to, however, the greenette stopped her. "Not yet." Hikage got out. "I don't believe you." She however bluntly admitted.

"Hikage..." Homura got out with a sigh.

"No, I refuse to believe that it was simply a comedy of errors!" Hikage suddenly declared with more emotions than usual, surprising the tan skinned girl. "There's something you're hiding from us." She then accused.

"Uh Hikage...are you alright?" Homura however asked while blinking a couple of times. "What the hell is up with Hikage? She's never like this." She meanwhile thought.

"Experiment gone wrong and now she's more emotional as a result." Haruka simply replied.

"Don't change the subject." Hikage however ordered. "There is one thing that will prove that it is simply just mistakes...or you two have been lying to us this entire time." She soon stated.

"And that being?" Akira in response asked in a calm and collected tone, trying to hide his nervous gulp.

"Show us your dedication." Hikage instructed as she took out her knife. "Swear by a blood oath that you are loyal." She then added.

"Is that it?" Akira soon asked. "Uh...I don't exactly have a speech prepared...not to mention I'm still tied up." He awkwardly informed and reminded.

"Not you." Hikage corrected as she tossed her knife to the tan skinned girl, who caught it. "Homura-san." She then stated.

Homura had to resist rolling her eyes before cutting the palm of her hand and clenched it into a fist, letting blood drip out to the floor as she narrowed her eyes. "I sacrifice myself to the will of evil. I, Homura, shall never betray my fellow shinobi, shall die for the good of the Academy and promise that all I do will be for the Academy. No one shall stand in my way, no Good shall infect my heart and lead me astray, as the dance we perform will only be for Evil and the death of our enemies." She calmly responded in a dead serious tone that was thick with killing intent.

If Akira didn't know any better, he would be shitting his pants, though he was also amazed with how his friend was able to keep up the act.

However, after all that...it all fell apart in nine words.

"...Homura-chan...You don't have the yoke technique on you..." Yomi gasped out. She had noticed when the tan skinned girl turned her back to her.

Homura's eye immediately twitched to that. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" She mentally screamed.

"WHAT!?" Mirai exclaimed. "H-How!?" She soon asked in disbelief.

"Let me see." Haruka demanded as she and the others went over to the tan skinned girl and checked.

"It's actually gone..." Hikage muttered as she narrowed her eyes. "No wonder you've been more relaxed...you're free..." She then added in realization.

Suddenly, Homura shoved everyone away and pointed her weapons at her former friends. "So!? What are you going to do now!?" She soon growled out. "Kill me!? Kill him!? I've beaten you all at the same time! And don't think I've been slacking on my training. Do you really think you stand a chance!?" She soon questioned and declared in an antsy and taunting tone.

"How did you do it?" Hikage however questioned. "How did you remove the Yoke technique?" She then asked.

"COME ON! I'LL TAKE YOU ALL-" Homura declared as she readied herself, however...

"'Cause we want it removed too." Haruka suddenly declared as the other three girls nodded in agreement.

This in turn caused the two to blink a couple of times. "...Eh?" Homura got out in confusion. "Why do you want to get rid of it?" She soon asked in an uneasy tone.

"Why wouldn't we? I'd rather not have to worry about being killed every single second of my life!" Mirai replied with a huff.

"Look, we honestly don't care anymore about what Hebijo wants." Haruka admitted. "Whatever you're doing...whatever you're hiding from us...it must be really important enough to keep it a secret from us. So, we won't ask any more questions and we'll head back and tell Suzune-sensei your lie. You'll have to put in the work in your reports on following this Black Mask, but just know we have your back." She soon explained.

"...WHAT!? THEN WHAT THE HELL WAS ALL THIS FOR!?" Homura yelled at the other girls.

"A way to vent some built-up stress." Haruka simply replied. "We never truly intended to reveal your actions to Hebijo. And it was the perfect opportunity to meet this handsome student of yours~" She then added while eyeing the boy hungrily.

"Uuuuh..." Akira awkwardly got out with a blush on his face.

"...I hate you all. So much." Homura bluntly stated in cold fury.

"And I love you too, Homura-chan!" Haruka replied with a bright smile.

"Screw that noise! How do you get rid of the Yoke Technique!?" Mirai called out.

Homura opened her mouth before closing it with a regretful look on her face.

She would need Asuka to call her grandfather and...by the time he would arrive, it would be too late. And there was the possibility that they would target Asuka because of her status as the relative of the legendary shinobi. They needed to leave or they would die.

"I'm...I'm sorry but...I can't tell you now." Homura muttered out.

Haruka could only sigh in response, knowing of the reasons why. "I expected that much. It wouldn't be that easy." She admitted. "But thank you. At least you gave us hope that it can be removed." She then added with a warm smile.

"...Sorry. Give it time..." Homura quietly responded.

"Come now. Let's leave these two lovebirds alone~" Haruka teasingly ordered.

"Not lovebirds, just friends." Homura bluntly countered while the boy nodded in agreement.

However, the other shinobi couldn't help but notice the pink dusting their cheeks as they looked away from each other.

"Ufufu~ in any case, we'll be in touch, Akira-kun~" Haruka seducing informed before leaning in...

CHU~!

And placing a kiss on the boy's cheek. "Mm~ Coffee~" Haruka hummed out while licking her lips.

Akira meanwhile blushed and gulped to the girl's actions. "This has to be the most awkward boner I've ever had." He thought.

"Oi Haruka, stop flirting!" Homura however ordered in annoyance while crossing her arms over her chest.

"Oh good god..." Hikage however groaned out. "I'm heading for Big Bang Burger before heading back to Hebijo. Don't care if I go up a cup size again." She bluntly decided as she made her way to leave.

"Wait what?" Akira meanwhile muttered in confusion to the second part.

"Stop doing the stupid challenge! You are never going to get it!" Yomi demanded and declared. "All you're getting is more burgers! It's not worth it!" She then added in frustration.

"Better than bean sprouts!" Hikage quipped out from a distance.

"Not this again..." Haruka sighed out as she looked at the confused tan skinned girl. "The experiment worked too well in the giving Hikage-chan emotions part." She simply explained.

"That was not the original purpose of that!" Mirai called out. "God, that is not even natural character development! It's a contrivance that shit writers use to create crappy scenarios!" She then declared.

"Pretentious writer~!" Haruka teasingly responded before giving the tan skinned girl Akira's phone and walking away. "In any case, we'll see each other again real soon, Homura-chan, Akira-kun~ K.I.T.B.F.F. and all that jazz~" She soon informed.

"I AM NOT PRETENTIOUS!" Mirai meanwhile shouted out as she chased after the third year. "O-OR A WRITER, HARUKA-SAMA!" She then stammered out.

Akira meanwhile sweatdropped to the interactions, the tense atmosphere immediately gone. "...Shinobi are weird." He deadpanned before the tan skinned girl rushed up and hugged him. "H-Homura!?" He then got out in shock and confusion.

"This isn't a hug, I'm cutting your ropes." Homura got out before the boy felt his hands become unbound. "Okay, now we hug." She soon stated.

Akira didn't think twice as he wrapped his arms around the girl and just let out a sigh of relief.

Everything with the Metaverse, from the Shadows to the monstrosities he stared down with a cocky smirk...it didn't compare to the fear he felt throughout this entire ordeal.

"A...Akira..." Homura whispered out.

"We can't hide this from the others or else they'll kill us themselves. Tomorrow, we're telling the Thieves." Akira simply ordered. "Also, the Yoke technique?" He then questioned while narrowing his eyes.

"It's uh...It's basically a killswitch." Homura muttered out as she then noticed the boy's eyes widening. "I no longer have it thanks to Sis' grandpa." She then informed.

"And they still do." Akira responded.

"Yeah." Homura hesitantly replied.

"It's inhumane." Akira soon stated in a disgusted tone.

"Yeah, tell me something I don't know." Homura grumbled. "Shinobi live by different rules Akira. Human rights only exist when you have a heart."

"...Shinobi is an occupation, not an entirely different species." Akira countered.

"Oh, so it's just like working at a fast food restaurant or as a fucking cashier then?" Homura soon asked. "Wake up, Akira. Being a shinobi isn't just a job. It's a lifestyle, a way of life you must dedicate yourself to if you want to survive." She soon declared.

"But...You can't let it consume you!" Akira countered.

"I'm sorry, but where can I quit being a shinobi? Where's the nearest job office?" Homura responded.

"Who said quitting though? I'm not telling you to quit." Akira however pointed out.

"Then what do you want!? Do you want me to be human or a killer because that's all I'll ever be and I wish I never was!" Homura soon questioned in frustration.

"Look at Asuka. There's more to life than what you're given. She's finding her own path! Look at how she's changing." "What would you consider her to be now?" He soon asked.

The tan skinned girl's eyes widened to that. "Sis is...being both human and a shinobi..." Homura muttered in realization.

"Exactly." Akira responded in a serious tone.

"...It's not that easy." Homura soon confessed.

"Is anything in life easy?" Akira pointed out.

"...It still doesn't change the fact that you're treated as a tool when you're a shinobi." Homura soon admitted. "It's not about how you see yourself...it's about how other people see you." She then added before taking in a deep breath. "But...since Sis is changing, then I gotta get better at changing as well." She eventually decided with renewed determination.

The Leader in turn smiled as he was glad he was able to get through to his friend. "In any case, they seem nice though...among other things." Akira awkwardly admitted to changing the subject.

"Friend beyond my comprehension." Homura simply stated as he helped the boy up onto his feet before handing him his phone.

The Leader nodded to that as he then noticed his phone was on and in his contacts, seeing a familiar name. "Haruka..." Akira read out. "...She really did put her number on my phone..." He soon realised. "She wasn't kidding about keeping in touch..." He then added in a slightly worried tone.

"Don't fall for her temptations..." Homura sighed out while palming her face. "And delete any kinky pics of herself and the others she might send you." She then advised.

"..." Akira remained silent as he stared at his phone.

BZZT! BZZT!

"...She already sent you one, didn't she?" Homura bluntly guessed in a deadpan tone.

"...No." Akira hesitantly responded.

"...I'm heading home. Goodnight, you pervert." Homura deadpanned before dashing away.

Akira meanwhile looked at his phone as he saw the title of the message. "Whipped Cream Surprise." He read out. "...I think I've had enough stimulation tonight." He soon decided as he pocketed his phone and started making his way home.

Morgana was going to be panicking and pissed when he got back.

(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

"Homu-nee! Welcome back! I got Chinese!" Asuka greeted as the tan skinned girl dragged herself into the apartment and kicked the door shut.

"Ugh..." Homura groaned out in response. "I think I lost several years of my life..." She soon thought.

"Is something wrong? Oh, right, you dropped your phone before you went out." Asuka asked as she then noticed something. "Homu-nee! Your hand!" She exclaimed in a panic as she looked it over.

"What?" Homura got out in confusion before looking at her injured hand. "Oh...right. I did that." She muttered to herself.

"I'll heal it with a Media!" Asuka replied as she ripped off her mask...before remembering she was still in the real world and ripped off nothing. "Moh..." She mumbled out.

"Just give me a bandage and some antiseptic from the medkit. We don't have to use supernatural powers every time we get a boo-boo." Homura sighed out, although she did look amused as she went off to clean her wound.

Soon enough, Asuka was wrapping her roommate's hand in a clean white bandage and was attempting to tie a bow on it.

"How did this even happen Homu-nee?" Asuka soon asked in concern.

"You wouldn't believe that I cut myself for a fake blood oath, right?" Homura awkwardly answered with a nervous laugh. "Please don't believe me." She then muttered.

"...Please explain, Homu-nee..." Asuka soon requested. "Did you encounter your attacker again?" She then asked.

"No. It was just...me and Akira had a run-in with a couple of my friends from Hebijo." Homura recently revealed.

This however caused the Vice Leader to pale. "...Do they know?" Asuka soon asked.

"Not really. They know I'm doing something but they...they just let us be." Homura responded and explained. "Sis...they want their yoke techniques removed too..." She soon stated.

"...Where are they?" Asuka then asked in a more serious tone.

Homura in turn sighed to that. "Probably on their way back to Hebijo right now. If they stay any longer, well..." She responded before trailing off at the end.

"Damn." Asuka muttered out. "And really late too so Jii-chan's probably asleep..." She then added.

"Well...at the very least it's one less threat we have to worry about." Homura got out.

"I guess..." Asuka muttered. "You look exhausted, Homu-nee. You should go to bed." She soon suggested.

"We both should Sis." Homura countered. "TV station, remember?" She then reminded.

"Right." Asuka replied with a nod. "Let me just put your food in the fridge. You can have it for breakfast." She then suggested.

"Thanks." Homura replied with a soft smile before heading for the bedroom. "I'm still surprised they just let me go like that...I wonder what happened to make them think that way..." She then got out.

"Hey, maybe they're a lot better than you think." Asuka soon suggested.

"...I guess so." Homura replied as a yawn escaped her lips. "I'll think it over in the morning." She then decided.

Hopefully, she wouldn't have to save a friend from kidnapping...again.

(Hebijo Academy)

Meanwhile, Suzune let in a deep breath as she took a stroll around the school grounds. After another day of peace (probably because of the lack of haywire experiments and clothing theft), it felt nice to simply skip the bar and just let her mind wander.

Suddenly, the teacher could hear the sounds of tapping behind her. Suzune didn't have to turn to know who it was. "How's your physical therapy going..." She soon questioned. "Miyabi." She then stated.

At that moment, a girl with white tomboyish hair and yellow eyes made herself known while being cladded in a black and white lined kimono robe. She used her crutches to step out of the shadows. "Not fast enough." Miyabi answered, obviously annoyed.

"You shouldn't be out this late. You're still recovering." Suzune however lectured.

"Obviously." Miyabi grumbled out. "I just...need to get back out there soon." She then muttered.

"Imu seems to disagree. Actually, you should be in a wheelchair right now." Suzune pointed out. "Take it easy, you just woke up from a coma after all." She soon reminded.

"I woke up two weeks ago!" Miyabi countered in frustration. "Plus, the Miyabi Militia is good exercise." She then added.

"Militia? Not fanclub?" Suzune repeated and questioned out with a raised eyebrow.

"They. Already. Have. Body Pillows." Miyabi slowly informed in a dead serious tone and a twitching eyes before sighing. "In any case, where are the other Elites?" She soon questioned to change the subject.

"They're still out on a mission. Why do you ask?" Suzune responded and asked.

"Damn. Well, tell me when they come back, I plan to give them some intense training. I have to regain my honor after that last failure of a mission I had." Miyabi soon informed in a frustrated tone.

"Will you go back to your room if I promise I will?" Suzune then questioned.

"Ugh, fine." Miyabi responded in even more frustration.

"Then go." Suzune responded. "Oh, by the way, have you met the new transfers yet?" She then questioned.

"No, haven't had the time." Miyabi replied as she limped to her room, though the teacher could tell she was irritated by that.

"Regaining honor, huh..." Suzune whispered before...

BZZT! BZZT!

"Code." Suzune ordered after bringing the phone to her ear.

"Good...something something Evil...Look, you know it's me so let's not-" Haruka droned out in a playful manner, however...

"Hanging up now..." Suzune bluntly responded in annoyance as she got ready to do so.

"Good accepts few, Evil accepts all! No, wait, I mean...Evil accepts all, good accepts only the few! Happy now?" Haruka responded in slight annoyance and a sigh escaping her lips.

"Yes. You should know we take security here seriously." Suzune reminded. "Now, your twelve hours are almost up. What do you wish to report on Homura's situation?" She soon asked.

"Well Suzune-sensei, you were right." Haruka confessed over the phone.

"So you did confront her." Suzune responded as she narrowed her eyes. "Why?" She then questioned.

"...We just needed the truth and the truth is...she has a lead." Haruka soon replied. "I'd rather not discuss this over the phone, but just know that Homura-chan may have someone that's connected to these mental shutdowns." She then informed in a serious tone.

Suzune's eyes in response widened. "...That's..." She began as she then narrowed her eyes. "Haruka, in the past two years no one has ever gotten a lead on these incidents and you're telling me she has one after only 3 months?" She then asked.

"Hai." Haruka responded.

"Well, return here at once for your debriefing and your next mission." Suzune soon ordered.

"So soon?" Haruka responded in a curious manner.

"Don't worry. I have a feeling you'll like it." "You mentioned someone who gave her potent medicine, correct?" She then questioned.

"Yes? I kept a bottle of it for myself to study and it is of extremely good quality." Haruka replied in an impressed tone. "Why do you ask Suzune-sensei?" She soon asked.

"I will explain when you return." Suzune responded. "What are the others doing?" She then questioned.

"Yomi-chan's holding Hikage-chan's hair back." Haruka casually informed.

"...Why?" Suzune hesitantly asked.

"You don't want to know." Haruka stated in a dead serious tone.

"BLAAAAAARGH!" A familiar voice got out as it sounded like they were vomiting.

"I want to say I told you so, but now I'm just sad..." Another got out in a disappointed tone.

"How did you go up another cup size!? Dammit!" Another voice cried out in despair and envy. "You know what, give me one!" She soon demanded.

Suzune could only sweatdrop in response. "...You're probably right. When should I expect you back?" She responded and questioned.

"In the morning." Haruka replied.

"THIS IS LEVEL ONE!? HOW DID YOU EAT THIS!?" Mirai exclaimed in shock and disbelief.

"Uh...correction: afternoon." Haruka soon replied as she audibly cringed. "We'll see you soon. I have bibs for you Mirai. Please don't get that outfit dirty now!" She then got out.

"DAMMIT! I'M NOT A BABY HARUKA-SAMA!" Mirai exclaimed in an offended tone.

Suzune decided to hang up then and there. "Yare yare daze..." She sighed out...before an amused smirk came across her face. "Well, they're becoming more human at least..." She thought to herself as she then looked at the moon in the sky. "What do you think, Tenjin?" She then quietly whispered.

"...Don't you have papers to grade?" A mature and wise female voice questioned in the teacher's mind.

"Shit." Suzune soon swore to herself before getting up to get to work, vanishing with the shadows.
