Sorry about last chapter, I was under a lot of stress but with my new PC up and running, I can finally play P4G with a controller…and all other games because I am Church from RvB when I shoot with a mouse and keyboard – Hey! UknownHero here and welcome to another chapter of Senran Persona! I'm feeling good today so let's jump into the questions!

To Dartz: I will make sure to keep Haruka's backstory canon. And yeah…Sae was totally heartless back there. It wasn't like that I thought it was genuinely good advice but probably twisted because of my own experiences. No…Not at all… To Vein Bloodborne: We will do a PQ2 fic with Senran characters. However…I wonder what shinobi would be in the P3 crew. To WX-Lazer: Thank you for being understanding, but that won't excuse the words I used. I am sorry and to answer your question…well, it was sort of on the spot but yeah, Akira will meet the other shinobi schools and have events with them like Shinobi Hearts.

Anyways, that's it! Let's dupe some dopes and this was a horrible pun.

Load Game…Start!

Chapter 53: Dopes

(6/15, Early Morning)

(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)

The two roommates had got out of the bath, dried off and already got dressed as the two prepared breakfast together.

"Sis, the fridge is almost out of food." Homura got out. "Do you want to do the shopping or should I?" She then asked.

"I'll do the food shopping," Asuka replied. "You can go buy more shampoo." She then added.

"...Sounds good." Homura soon replied.

"You sound so low energy today, Homu-nee." Asuka pointed out in concern.

"Sorry, yesterday's still on my mind." Homura apologized and informed. "God...I don't know what to do...and I don't think I ever will." She soon confessed with a sigh escaping her lips.

"It may seem like that now, but just give it a little time." Asuka replied. "Hey, maybe Makoto-chan is feeling better right now. Give her a call." She soon suggested.

"Sis, I love you, but that is highly unlikely and extremely naïve to think that." Homura responded as they finished making breakfast and sat down to eat. "But...fine, I'll do it. I want to start making amends with her too..." She then admitted before getting her phone, only to blink a couple of times. "...She sent me some messages last night..." She informed as she opened the chat.

[Makoto N: im sorry]

[Makoto N: i was an idiot]

[Makoto N: i was scum]

[Makoto N: please call back]

As the two looked at the messages, they then felt a wave of anxiety and uneasiness coursing through them, much different than before.

"Ok Sis, I'll join you..." Homura suddenly stated. "Those messages didn't sound good..." She then admitted in concern.

"Then we better get to school then." Asuka replied as the tan skinned girl nodded in agreement as the two ate breakfast before heading out.

(Aoyama-Itchome, Shujin Academy Front Entrance)

Akira sighed as he came off the subway and made it to the front gate of the school.

"That journalist was an interesting one huh? Despite the smell of booze on her." Morgana got out.

Akira simply nodded in response. "Yeah. She seemed pretty nice." He admitted in agreement. "Hmm...a journalist..." He then muttered to himself as he got closer to the school.

"Don't you think all that blackmail stuff is insane?" One anxious girl got out, getting the boy's attention. "I didn't think it had anything to do with me, but there are even victims in my class..." She then admitted.

"Oooh, I know all about that! These guys supposedly come asking if you want an easy, high-paying job...But then if you say yes, you get dragged into some real shady stuff...The teachers or student council prez'll do something about it though. People're real worried." The other girl responded.

"Oh, are you talking about that posting? I wonder if she was serious about it...I heard she knew about Kamoshida and the sexual harassment...she prolly won't be too much help..." The anxious girl asked and commented.

"Yeah, and you hear about the disciplinary committee? They're just as clueless! All they're doing is taking smokers and delinquents to detention. God, is there anyone here that's gonna help us?" The other girl responded.

"I really hope Akechi-kun takes down whoever is running this thing." The anxious girl sighed out in a dreamy tone.

"No way! I hope the Phantom Thieves change their heart!" Her friend got out in an excited tone.

Akira soon groaned when he heard that and rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Rumors, you gotta hate them..." He muttered as he walked into the school.

(6/15, Morning)

(Classroom)

Asuka tapped her foot impatiently as she focused on their target. As much as she wanted to pay attention to the teacher, she just wanted the day to be over so they could get to work.

"Alright, I heard Iida's name during roll call so he should be here..." Asuka thought before pulling out her phone.

BZZT! BZZT!

And with that, the Thieves snuck out their phones from their pockets and bags before opening up the IM.

[SushiRoll23: Iida-kun's here. He sits in the front row.]

[FireGirl20: Good. Me and Sis will guard the exits just in case he tries to run. Never can be too careful.]

[Shut7heFUp: So, when's this happenin'?]

[Sweetkat06: After School. I'll try and ask him then.]

[TheWildJ0ker: We're counting on you, Ann.]

[Sweetkat06: Leave it to me!]

[All4Painting: That level of motivation actually makes me a little more nervous...]

[Negative8Degrees: If you don't get anything from our victim, Yusuke and I will be scouring Kosei during our lunchtime.]

[All4Painting: Let us know if you learn anything.]

[Sweetkat06: Will do.]

As they put away their phones, the Thieves nodded to each other as they turned their attention back to class.

(6/15, Lunchtime)

(Shujin Academy, Classroom)

"It's a little inconvenient that we can't have all our members here..." Akira admitted as he chewed on his bread.

"We could always use video chat." Ann pointed out.

"There's only so much the school internet can do." Akira pointed out.

"Wait...are you connected to the school's Wi-Fi?" Ryuji exclaimed before pulling out his phone. "What's the password!? Come on, they changed it last week."

"shujinadmin123." Akira answered in a flat tone. "...Kawakami gave it to me." He then explained before anyone could ask.

"Man, Kawakami's doing a lot of favors for you. Why is that?" Ryuji had to ask, looking a little suspicious of their Leader.

However Akira and (strangely enough) Asuka began to blush quite heavily. "W-We'll tell you later..." Both Leaders answered at the same time.

"Okay then..." Homura got out in a suspicious tone as they all turned their gaze over to their target.

"Should we just confront Iida now?" Ryuji suggested.

"No. We don't know enough about his situation to get anything out of him. Plus, we just don't have the time." Morgana informed. "If we talk to him now, he'll just think we're grilling him over a rumor, not facts."

"So we need evidence of the shady stuff he's doing..." Asuka muttered out.

"That makes sense." Homura got out before seeing that she didn't have any food in front of her having been so focused on the conversation that she forgot about it. She was about to pull it out of her bag but...

"Homura Shinkukage-san?" An unfamiliar boy questioned as he approached the group.

Homura had to resist letting out an annoyed huff before turning to the unfamiliar boy. "Yes, I am-" She began in a polite tone before recognising the boy. "You're...from the Student Council..." She realised.

"Yep. Principal Kobayakawa is asking for you." The boy soon informed.

"Why me?" Homura questioned as she narrowed her eyes. "He usually calls for Makoto-senpai..." She then reminded.

"Well I don't know. Makoto-kaichou isn't here, so I don't know why he doesn't just wait until she's back." The boy responded.

This however caused the tan skinned girl to blink a couple of times. "What do you mean Makoto-senpai's not in?" Homura asked in confusion, surprising her and the others to hearing and learning that.

"She called in sick today." The boy soon informed. "You better hurry to the principal. He did not look happy..." He then advised.

This caused the tan skinned girl to stand up and nod. "...Alright. I'll go right away." Homura replied as she stood up.

"Good luck." Ann got out.

"Yeah, because I've been so lucky for the past few days." Homura sarcastically mumbled as she followed the boy out of the classroom.

(Principal's Office)

Homura walked into the office without as much as a knock on the door, surprising Kobayakawa somewhat but he tried to keep a calm expression on his face.

If it wasn't for the amount of sweat on him, Homura would nearly believe that he wasn't freaking the eff out.

"It's rude to not announce your arrival Shinkukage-kun." the principal chided.

"I apologize sir. I just have a lot on my mind right now." Homura apologised, barely holding back her contempt for the man. "So, why did you get the student council to get me?" She soon asked.

"Well, Shinkukage-kun, if you haven't heard already, some sort of criminal organization has managed to reach over to our student body." Kobayakawa informed.

"Yes, I have heard mutters about it." Homura replied in a barely calm manner. "Very, very recently might I add." She then added through gritted teeth.

"Now, I must admit that I thought this was all a joke! A simple playground rumor!" The principal admitted, causing Homura to roll her eyes

"Of course he wouldn't take students getting involved with the freaking mafia seriously until it started affecting Shujin's reputation." The tan skinned girl thought in a resigned manner. His idiocy was genuinely starting to wear her down. "And now sir?" Homura soon asked.

"And now, not only are there victims, there are even rumors that some are involved with such crimes...I've even received inquiries from their guardians. Why is this happening...?" Kobayakawa soon questioned.

"I don't know, maybe karma for hiding the shit with Kamoshida?" The tan skinned girl thought to herself. "...What do you want me to do, sir?" Homura questioned as she had her hands behind her back, both of them balled into fists.

"Well...I wish for you to contact Niijima-kun and have her take care of it." Kobayakawa requested.

"...Pardon me, sir, but can't you just call her about it? Or just tell the student council and not just Makoto-senpai? Or how about letting me take care of this?" Homura soon pointed out while narrowing her eyes.

"No!" Kobayakawa called out before clearing his throat. "I-I mean, while I do trust your abilities, I trust Niijima-kun a little more in resolving this matter in a quiet and effective manner. Plus, you have your studies to worry about and Niijima-kun is quite on top of things." He then added with reassurance.

(Niijima Residence)

Makoto had just arisen from her bed with the same dead look on her face with bags under her eyes and her hair being a mess.

And still in her uniform, leading her to take it off and left herself in her royal blue bra and panties as she scratched her side.

There was homework in her bag. Maybe she should do it while she was home...

...But her bed was really soft and warm and she really didn't want to face the endless misery of the waking world so...

THUD!

"Zzzzz..." Makoto snored out as she fell asleep.

Yeah, sleep felt better then going to school.

(Shujin Academy, Principal's Office)

For some reason, Homura was sure the principal was just pulling it out of his ass, knowing fully well that the Shujin Student Council President wasn't going to like this or capable of doing it right now.

"Like hell you trust me." Homura mentally remarked in annoyance.

"From what I've heard, even the other students are starting to be dissatisfied with you and Niijima-kun, despite you cracking down on more questionable students. At this rate, We will all lose our roles at this school. Do you understand?" Kobayakawa informed and questioned.

"...Is this the IOU?" Homura had to ask before cringing. She really hoped he's forgotten about that stupid thing.

"No. A simple phone call is not what I have in mind." Kobayakawa responded while shaking his head. "But you wish for the betterment of the school don't you? You do what I say, and we'll all come out of this with our reputations intact. Unless you wish for Kurusu-kun to be expelled and thrown in juvie." He then pointed out and reminded.

"...Of course, sir." Homura replied, swallowing the urge to spit in his face.

"Good. Now leave and have Niijima-kun take care of this mess."

"...I need her address so I can tell her." Homura pointed out.

"I'm sure you have her phone number, Shinkukage-kun." Kobayakawa responded. "Call her. Now." He then ordered.

"Urge. To kill. Rising..." Homura thought as she pulled out her phone.

"Please make sure to leave me out of the conversation. It's not for me, it's for the school." The principal quickly ordered and added.

"Yes sir." Homura responded, almost letting her irritation leak into her voice, as she called for the Student Council President.

You know, she was actually quite glad that Makoto wasn't answering her call.

"...She isn't picking up sir." Homura informed. "She's probably resting." She then added.

The principal in turn narrowed his eyes to that. "Fine, I'll give you Niijima-kun's address. Be sure to go and see her today." Kobayakawa soon ordered.

"Yessir." Homura responded with a nod as he handed over a piece of paper over to her before allowing her to leave.

While this was a huge invasion of privacy, Homura knew she had to face her friend face-to-face if she wanted any chance of fixing their relationship despite the Leader's order to keep her distance.

She wasn't giving up. Not yet.

(6/15, Afternoon)

(Classroom)

Asuka had been keeping an eye on the target and studying his movements all day. He seemed...jumpy. Like there was an assassin around every corner. Whatever he was involved with, it couldn't be good.

"Before I realised it, we're halfway through June." Hiruta admitted. "It's the only month of the year with no holidays, and it's filled with rain- truly a season of hell."

"Ugh...no holidays..." Ann groaned out.

"I dunno, I like the rain." Homura admitted. "It's quite calming." She then added.

"Yep. Perfect for coffee and studying." Akira got out with a smile.

"I'm exaggerating, you say? Haha." Hiruta laughed out. "You're all just ignorant...After all, what's falling from the sky is acid rain that can melt metal. Kurusu-kun. Let's test your knowledge and imagination." He then got out, causing Akira to stand up. "What would happen if you keep washing your hair with water that's contaminated with metal?" He soon asked.

"It'll change color." Akira answered without missing a beat.

"That's right. By the way, your hair will turn green if the metal is copper or red if it's rust. However, acid rain can't melt gold or silver. If you want to dye your hair gold, use bronze coins." Hiruta informed as the other students in the classroom whispered in awe.

"Huh...I wonder if my hair would look good in gold..." Asuka innocently wondered with a tilt of her head.

Homura meanwhile began to panic mentally. "Oh god she's becoming too rebellious!" She exclaimed in her head.

"On the contrary, Shirokage-chan!" Hiruta called out, causing the girl to jump. "Thinking you could save money by skipping a visit to the hair salon? ...It seems you still don't understand the horror of acid rain." He soon revealed. "London once had acid rain on the level of stomach acid. More than four thousand people died. Perhaps one day such a deathly rain will fall on Japan..." He then informed in a solemn tone.

"Well, given the downward spiral the environment is going, it might happen..." Homura bluntly pointed out.

"H-Homu-nee..." Asuka mumbled.

"My heart, too, is overcast, just like the rain that falls on the city...Oh rain!" Hiruta dramatically declared.

As the teacher continued his lesson, the Thieves felt a little smarter after that lesson.

(6/15, After School)

(Classroom)

RING RING RING!

As soon as the bell rang, the Thieves at Shujin quickly put their plan into work.

"Okay, Ryuji-kun is at Shibuya." Asuka informed as she put away her phone. "He'll tell us if there's anyone suspicious hanging around." She then added.

"Got it. Asuka, Homura. Positions, now." Akira whispered out. The two shinobi nodded as they made their way to exits, attempting to look casual while keeping an eye on their target. "Ann, do your thing...and really bring your A-Game today." He then ordered.

"I got this. Alright, executing Operation Iida's Information." Ann replied as she got up from her seat.

"Good luck, Lady Ann." Morgana encouraged with a confident smile.

However, as soon as the ash blonde went off to question their target, they let their faces fall. "...You do realise she's gonna crash and burn." Homura bluntly pointed out.

"Hey, maybe she'll beat her record of five seconds." Akira responded as he moved closer to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"...And so I really need some money right now..." Ann got out in her acting voice. "Can you tell me about this easy part-time job? I'm sure you know about it, Iida-kun. Please!" She soon pleaded.

Iida looked...confused and somewhat worried. " ...You don't need my help, Takamaki-san. A girl like you could probably get a job anywhere, right? Plus, aren't models paid super well?" He soon pointed out.

"Huh...!? Ummm..." Ann then got out as she panicked for a moment. "Now that you mention it...Yes...So, um...What I mean is..." She soon began stammering.

"...We're doomed." Homura deadpanned in a blunt manner. "Please help her out, Akira." She then requested.

"Yeah, this is going south fast." Morgana groaned.

However, the not cat's voice struck Ann with an idea. "O-Oh, Francois!" She suddenly exclaimed.

"Huh?" Iida got out in a confused tone.

"Who the..." Asuka got out in confusion. "Ann-chan never mentioned she had a cat..." She then muttered.

"My cat Francois got run over by a car...and also has an incurable illness! I need money fast!" Ann quickly got out.

"Huh, she's using the cat lady from Yongen..." Asuka noticed.

"That's not convincing at all...Is she talking about me...?" Morgana guessed.

"If Francois were to die, I think I'd die too! Probably..." Ann then informed as she started whimpering.

"Dead. Horse. Rotting." Homura thought in a flat tone.

"Come on, don't talk like that..." Iida tried to placate the devastated girl. She really had crocodile tears nail down, the others had to admit.

"If you don't like it, then tell me about that easy part-time job." Ann soon demanded before narrowing her eyes. "You know something, don't you? I've heard the rumors."

"Rumors...!? Was it Nishiyama who-" Iida started in shock before shutting himself up.

But it was too late. The first crack in his wall.

"Nishiyama...?" Ann repeated in surprise.

"Oh, uh..." Iida responded before clamming up.

"Hey, what was that about Nishiyama?" Ann soon asked, her stiff tone gone.

"That's..." Iida hesitantly responded, his face telling that he was internally panicking.

"She actually got the momentum back." Homura muttered out in an amazed tone.

"She's not acting anymore now, is she?" Morgana meanwhile pointed out.

"Nishiyama..." Akira quietly repeated.

"Sounds like it's our cue to search the school." Asuka stated.

"Right." Morgana got out before frowning. "If Akira goes asking around, they'll raise their guard and might not give us the information we need. Lady Asuka, if you will?" He then stated and requested.

"Hai, Morgana-chan." Asuka replied with a nod.

"I've got things here, Sis. Go and find Nishiyama before Ann says the wrong thing or he stops buying it." Homura meanwhile ordered.

"Hai." Asuka and Akira answered with a nod.

(Second Floor Hallway)

The two Leaders left Homura watching and Ann going into a (terrible) tragic monologue when they instantly ran into the Phan-site admin.

"Mishima-kun." Asuka greeted.

"Ah, Shirokage-san." Mishima greeted her back. "Um...it's a little late but about that night-" He then started.

"Please don't . ." Akira and Asuka quickly got out, shutting down any attempt to remember that night.

"Right, sorry." Mishima apologized before getting to business."So I overheard you guys were looking for something. I want to help you out so ask me anything."

"Do you know a Nishiyama-kun?" Asuka asked.

"Uh...yeah. Iida's friend." Mishima answered. "I'm sorry, I don't know where he is right now...He usually stays till late, so I think he's probably still somewhere in the school. I'll keep digging around while you're looking for him!" He then informed.

"I guess we'll leave it to him." Morgana got out.

"We can't waste any time searching the whole school. Let's see if anyone knows where he is." Akira soon suggested before looking around and smiling. "And I know just the person." He then added as he guided the brunette over to a girl with glasses and a notepad.

"Hello, Nasty Crimeboy." The still-former Newspaper Club President greeted while adjusting her glasses.

"You really like that name, don't you." Akira bluntly got out with a sweatdrop. "Asuka, this is the, uh, former Newspaper Club President." He then introduced.

"Ah, I've heard of her." Asuka got out as she shook hands with the girl. "You must be Tomoko-chan! Homu-nee has said good things about you." She then added.

"And you must be her mythical roommate and that is a total lie." Tomoko replied...just as her eyes drifted down to her chest. "...They're bigger in real life." She then muttered out with obvious envy in her voice.

That immediately caused Asuka to drop her head. "Everyone always brings them up..." She mumbled out in embarrassment.

"Anyways, what does Mr. Assault Charge and Mrs. Big Boobs want?" Tomoko soon asked as the two simultaneously groaned.

"Do you know anything about the mafia? You know, the ones operating in Shibuya?" Akira soon asked.

"Well, I heard the muggings, scams, prostitution, and drugs are making them tons of money. You know, the usual stuff." Tomoko informed with a shrug. "Most of their victims have been high schoolers, leading our school to warn its students as well. But...nobody actually knows how they operate. Even the police are completely lost." She then added.

"Yeah, that sounds like a criminal organization, alright." Akira muttered under his breath. "Alright, do you know anyone by the name of Nishiyama? Friend of Iida from class 2-D?"

"Ah, you must mean Uzō Nishiyama-kun." Tomoko got out in an interested tone. "He's a really serious student with great grades. I always see him at the library after school. The library's just up on the floor above this one...Why do you want to talk to him anyways?" She answered and questioned

"Just some investigative journalism. Thank you, Tomoko-san." Akira replied in appreciation before the two headed off to their next destination.

(Library)

The two Leaders soon arrived as they quietly entered the room, closing the door behind them.

"The Newspaper Club Prez said he'd be here..." Akira muttered out as he looked around.

"Ugh, why is he doing here?"

"I really need to study for finals too..."

"We should get out of here before he wrecks the place..."

"Come on, I've been here plenty of times. I should probably stay outside..." Akira sighed out. "You got this, Asuka?" He then asked.

"Hai." Asuka replied with a nod as she walked over. "Hello, are you Nishiyama-kun?" She soon asked.

"Uh...that's me." Nishiyama replied. "Wait, aren't you..." He then started.

"Yes yes yes, I have big boobs and hang out with the local outcasts." Asuka sighed out while waving it off. "I want to know what happened to your friend, Iida-kun." She soon requested.

"Iida...? How do you know about that?" Niishiyama asked. "Are you and your friends doing something to him? He has been acting strange lately." He then added to the questions.

"No, no, no! I want to help him." Asuka however informed while waving her hands in front of her.

"Wh-What do you mean? Is he really wrapped up in something shady?" Nishiyama soon asked.

"That's what I'm trying to find out. I just need some details." Asuka replied. "Come on...he could be in danger here..." She then got out in a concerned tone.

"...One day the two of us went to Shibuya, and a man approached us near Central Street. He asked if we were interested in an easy part-time job...I said I wasn't, but Iida was into it...He was asking the guy all sorts of questions." Nishiyama began explaining.

"What was the job?" Asuka then asked in a curious manner.

"U-Um, I don't know...I was so scared I ended up going home alone...But according to Iida, it only takes ten minutes, and is good for people who don't stand out." Nishiyama replied and continued explaining.

"And I'm going to guess he started spending lots of money afterwards." Asuka replied.

Yeah. And that's when his strange behavior began too...But that's all I know...That's enough, right?" Nishiyama responded and asked.

"Hai, thank you for letting me know Nishiyama-kun." Asuka replied with a smile.

"Thanks." Nishiyama responded before blushing. "...Hey, are you-" He then started.

"Sorry, I'm not interested." Asuka politely declined, already knowing what the boy was going to ask.

"Oh..." Nishiyama got out in a sad tone. "Well, back to studying then. Have a good day." He then added before sulking back to the books.

"You too." Asuka replied before heading out of the library, where her fellow Leader was waiting.

"You got the info?" Akira asked.

"Yup." Asuka responded with a nod. "Iida-kun is definitely wrapped up with the mafia. The job is apparently really easy, and takes only 10 minutes and it seems they operate at Central Street." She soon revealed

"Perfect. Ryuji's there right now so maybe he'll find someone there." Morgana replied with a smirk.

BZZT! BZZT!

This caused both Leaders to take out their phones and saw that conversation starting.

[All4Painting: Have you found anything, Leader?]

[All4Painting: I have tried looking into this high-paying part-time job myself. People seem to be talking about it here as well. Supposedly a man will talk to you in broad daylight over on Central Street...And your job is to deliver a small envelope he hands you.]

[Negative8Degrees: Good work, Yusuke-san.]

[Negative8Degrees: Things are worse than I thought here. A few students haven't come to school in days.]

[Negative8Degrees: We need to hurry!]

Akira and Asuka winced as they read that Kosei had been affected as well. Yumi was probably beating herself up over it right now.

"Envelopes..." Asuka whispered out.

"So that means this part-time job is somehow crime-related...It takes ten minutes, is good for people who don't stand out, and involves a small envelope..." Morgana summarised. "...Does that ring any bells? It's something the mafia would definitely be up to."

Akira in turn narrowed his eyes as he thought about it. "...Well, it's not murder unless it's the money for a hitman or a photo of a target...I don't know how the hell you'd commit fraud by delivering envelopes...and prostitution is a no..." He muttered to himself.

"...Unless it involves whatever's in the envelopes..." Asuka realized. "Then it must be-" She then started.

"...Drugs." Akira finished.

"Like illegal drugs...?" Morgana then asked before gasping. "Maybe they made Iida smuggle drugs for them. That definitely fits with the small envelope, and you can get arrested just for possession..." He then admitted.

"That must be it..." Asuka replied as she snapped her fingers.

BZZT! BZZT!

At that moment, the Leader got another message.

[DELETEDBYADMIN: Did you manage to find Nishiyama?]

[DELETEDBYADMIN: Well, I looked into Iida on my own anyway. Rumor has it he got involved in some kind of suspicious part-time job. And that job's apparently totally insane...Something about trafficking drugs, I think. I hear they ask you to take part in it down on Central Street. In broad daylight, even...]

[TheWildJ0ker: Nice work. Keep an eye on the Phan-site.]

[DELETEDBYADMIN: Got it.]

"Thank you Mishima for the confirmation." Akira muttered.

"This is insane..." Asuka got out in disbelief. "We have the info we need to get Iida-kun to talk." She soon added.

"I'll confront him about it, you go and tell Homura." Akira then ordered.

"They should both still be in class though if Ann-chan is stalling him long enough..." Asuka replied.

"Then we better hurry." Akira responded as the two then headed out.

(Classroom)

Akira and Asuka rushed back to class to find Ann still going on about her fake nearly-dead cat and Homura looking really, really bored.

"You're back." Homura got out as soon as the two Leaders entered the room. "You better intervene. Ann is starting to make an entire novel based on Francis' tragic backstory." She then informed.

"Isn't it Francois?" Akira however pointed out.

"At this point I don't care." Homura groaned out. She had to watch and hear the ash blonde ramble on about her increasingly incredulous lie for the past ten minutes.

"Right." Akira replied with a nod as he began to head towards the discussion in mention. "Give it up, Iida." He bluntly ordered.

"H-Huh!? Kurusu!? Come on, you too...? I already told you, I don't know..." Iida got out in denial.

"Stop it. Nishiyama told me everything I need to know." Akira responded. "It starts with a D and it ends with you in jail for possession. Is that good enough?" He then vaguely informed.

"Hey hey hey! Not so loud!" Iida got out in a panic. "That bastard...shit...Well, if you already know about it, fine...But I don't want to talk about it here. Let's go somewhere a little quieter." He grumbled out and requested.

Akira nodded, gave the girls a thumbs-up and left the classroom with the boy in tow.

(Stairwell)

"Is this quiet enough for you?" Akira questioned as soon as they arrived. They were just outside the door to the rooftop and away from all the people in the school.

"What's up with you? Especially in front of everyone..." Iida however asked while narrowing his eyes.

"Well, considering what you're caught up in, I should be taking you to the police." Akira responded. "I mean, it's not every day you meet someone who accidentally became a drug smuggler." He then added.

Iida couldn't help but groan. "Of all people, I can't believe you were the one to find out..." He muttered, wondering how much God hated him right now, before letting out a sigh. "Y-You're right...They told me they had an easy part-time job for me, and I ended up smuggling drugs...All I had to do was put envelopes into coin lockers, and they said they'd give me a hefty paycheck. I didn't know what was in the envelopes though! Still, this is what came out of it..." He soon confessed and explained.

"Are you being threatened?" Akira then asked for confirmation.

"So you knew, huh..." Iida muttered under his breath. "They started threatening me right after they deposited the money into my bank account...They had pictures of me carrying the goods. Said they'd expose what I did unless I paid them off..." He soon explained. "You know...why are you even asking me this stuff...? Are you just gonna use my job to blackmail me too...?" He then asked and accused.

"No way in hell." Akira replied while shaking his head. "Actually, if you need backup, call me. I have a few...connections that might get you out of a bind." He then offered.

"That sounds...illegal." Iida responded in an uneasy tone.

"You'd be surprised with what the law lets slip by." Akira vaguely replied. "And you're already caught up in something illegal, at least use something that will actually protect you." He then reminded and added.

"I see...Well even if you were planning on doing that, I don't have any money I could give you...If you're really interested in that job, try heading over to Central Street. That's where they told me about it..." Iida informed. "I-I told you everything you want to know, right? Can I go?" He soon asked.

"Yeah. Just keep an eye over your shoulder." Akira soon advised.

"Well then..." Iida responded as he turned around.

Akira soon watched the boy leave before taking out his phone.

[TheWildJ0ker: Iida talked.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Let's get together and discuss it in person.]

[Shut7heFUp: Sweet!]

[Negative8Degrees: Where do you want to meet up?]

[TheWildJ0ker: ...Let's go to our first hideout: The alleyway across from the Shujin front gate.]

[FireGirl20: Fine, see you there.]

(Alleyway)

"Well, it certainly isn't the first thing I had in mind for the Phantom Thieves to start from..." Yusuke admitted as he and the light grey haired girl arrived.

"So, this is where you all met up for Kamoshida's Palace..." Yumi muttered out. "My informants did say you were seen hanging out here before suddenly disappearing..." She then added.

"Well, it was better than using the rooftop." Homura stated as she looked up. "Too many bad memories there..." She then explained.

"I understand." Yumi replied with a nod. "So, shall we start the meeting?" She then asked.

"Let's not talk about this in the open. We don't want another Niijima situation." Morgana soon ordered before wincing as he saw the depressed expression on the tan skinned girl. "Sorry." He soon apologized.

"Right. Sis, go for it." Homura replied, not even phased.

"Shinobi Kekkai!" Asuka declared as the group vanished.

(Asuka's Shinobi Kekkai)

"So, how'd it go?" Ryuji asked. "I bet Ann's acting didn't help at all." He then added.

"Hey!" Ann called out.

"It went fine enough." Morgana replied. "Well, I think. What's more important is what Akira found out." He then stated.

"So, what did you find out?" Yumi soon asked.

"Well, it's not a phishing scam." Akira informed. "It's worse." He then revealed.

"Murder!?" Ryuji exclaimed in a panicked manner.

"What? No! No, not that worse!" Morgana responded. "It's drug trafficking." He then revealed.

"Ah, I see." Yusuke got out. "Those envelopes they give to the victims must contain drugs." He soon deducted.

"Yeah. And I heard this morning Shibuya's gettin' flooded with street drugs." Ryuji got out with a frown.

"Damn, a drug trafficking ring in Shibuya." Homura got out in disgust.

"What's worse is that they're involving students into this bullshit." Ryuji growled out.

"Not only that, once the job is done and they pay the victims, they threaten the victims out of all their money to continue working for them." Yumi stated with a frown.

"That must be what I heard people talking about in Shibuya. They seem to be going about this quite openly during the daytime. What bold methodology." Yusuke replied.

"But why daytime?" Ann questioned. "Wouldn't it make more sense if it was all done at night?" She then asked.

"At night, the cops are more cautious." Homura informed as she shook her head. "In the day, they don't think anyone has the balls to pull something like this."

"Yeah, plus tons of students head to Shibuya to hang out. We go to Shibuya to hang out!" Asuka got out in a worried tone. "And high schoolers are the perfect people to target because they can't do anything to fight against them!" She then explained.

"They most likely operate at Central Street. Most students go there after all." Yumi assumed. "However we should save it for tomorrow." She then added.

"I agree, Lady Yumi. It's getting a little late so these mafiosos have probably cleared out by now." Morgana responded with a nod before looking at the others. "So, anything else we need to talk about?" He then asked.

"Yeah. Tomorrow, we're searchin' Central Street. Huh, I think we're closer than the cops to catchin' these guys." Ryuji declared, the other Thieves nodding to that. "By the way, what did the principal want this time Homura?" He eventually asked the tan skinned girl.

The tan skinned girl in response sighed to that question. "He wants me to go and get Makoto-senpai to do his dirty work." Homura answered. "I...I have to go to Makoto-senpai's place and make sure she comes into school tomorrow...got no choice or he'll expel me and Akira..." She then hesitantly revealed.

"That's gonna add more salt to the wound..." Akira muttered to himself.

"I know..." Homura groaned out. "I know you said to keep my distance...but this time..." She then added.

"It's okay. But please don't try and force a solution. Let Makoto calm down before you try, okay?"

"She already wasn't in school today." Homura bluntly reminded.

"Eh? Really?" Yumi got out in a surprised manner.

"Yeah, they said she called in sick...but I know better..." Homura responded.

It was at that moment Asuka decided to drop the Kekkai.

(Alleyway)

Ryuji then rubbed the back of his head in an uncomfortable manner. "Makoto callin' out sick?" He got out. "She's never been sick, she always had perfect attendance." He then added.

"Not any more now..." Asuka responded.

"I think...she's in a state of depression..." Homura soon informed the group. "Here, look at these texts she sent me last night..." She then requested as she took out her phone and showed what was sent to her.

"Hmm..." Morgana hummed with narrowed eyes as he looked at the messages. "Self berating herself in retaliation for her own actions..." He soon stated. "You might be right Lady Homura." He then admitted.

"H-Hold up, she got that depressed yesterday?" Ann however asked. "To the point of skipping school?" She soon added before looking at the tan skinned girl. "How did you make her so reliant on you?" She then asked in disbelief.

Shadows however covered Homura's eyes in response. "I was nice to her." She soon answered in a hollow tone.

But the others however could tell...her anger and fury was rising by the second.

But then suddenly, all the pent up anger and fury...it vanished... "I'm heading back to Shujin...disciplinary committee duties followed by personal stuff..." Homura informed the group before walking off.

"H-Homu-nee-!" Asuka called out, but it was too late as the tan skinned girl headed back towards the school.

Akira however sighed to this as he grabbed the Vice Leader before she could follow. "Leave her be...she needs some time alone..." He soon ordered before looking towards the ash blonde. "Ann...try and tone it down at least a bit...ok? Please." He then requested.

Ann however crossed her arms over her chest while scowling. "...As long as she doesn't try and screw us over again." She grumbled out.

"..." The other Thieves let out a sigh, knowing that was probably the best they could do.

CRUSH!

They then saw that one of the metal bars of the front gate was crushed as the tan skinned girl continued walking into the school.

"Yeah, Homura heard that Ann." Akira bluntly stated.

"I can tell." Ann squeaked out.

"I'm going to Leblanc to work today." Asuka soon decided.

"You've been doing that quite often, huh..." Akira pointed out.

"Well, me and Ann-chan are still waiting for the response for the audition." Asuka replied. "And I like learning about coffee." She then added.

"Well, I'm gonna see Takemi again. I think she needs some support right now." AKira informed. "At least with Takemi around, Haruka-san won't flirt with me..." He meanwhile thought to himself.

"At least we're makin' progress..." Ryuji muttered out as the Thieves separated for the day.

(Disciplinary Committee Board Room)

Homura sat down and let out a breath.

It was getting harder to remember that she had a committee to run considering everything that's been happening in her life as of late.

Still, with Makoto breaking down and all, she was in charge of keeping the school safe until she recovered and like hell she was going to slack on her work.

Although, she swore she was forgetting something...

However, the committee members spilled into the room, snapping her out of her thoughts.

Time to get to work.

"Ok everyone, give me your reports." Homura instructed in a mature tone.

"Hai!" All the committee members replied in unison as they all handed the tan skinned girl some papers.

Nodding to this, Homura sat down at her desk as she began looking through all of them. "Thank you everyone, feel free to continue with your duties for now." She then requested.

"Yes ma'am!" The committee members replied as they started to head out.

"Oh, before you all leave," Homura started as she went over and got the suitcase. "Thanks to Makoto-senapi, the Disciplinary Committee has been given new armbands for our hard work." She soon revealed as she opened the case and showed the contents while also showing off her own. "Wear these with pride from now on, we are enforcers of this school." She then instructed and reminded.

"...Why is it so shiny?" Naomi meanwhile asked.

"It's uh...it indicates that I'm the head." Homura awkwardly responded. "At least that's what Makoto-senpai told me." She soon stated. "Now come and get one on your way out. Also, I would like to bring attention to Ichiko for gracing us with her presence today." She then added.

"Thank you, Shinkukage-kaichou." Ichiko replied.

Once all the committee members received their armbands and left the room, Homura sat down and let out a breath.

She really needed a break right now.

However, the pressures of her job forced her to pull up her skirt, work through the reports and paperwork and then go out to patrol the school.

(First Floor Hallway)

As the tan skinned girl walked the hallways, she soon noticed one of her committee members lecturing a student as they then walked off. "Ah, good afternoon Keiichiro." Homura greeted as she approached the boy.

"Good afternoon Ma'am." Keiichiro responded with a respectful salute before turning to the student. "If I see you doing that again, it's off to the counselor." He then advised.

"I was-" The student responded.

"No, I don't want any excuses. Now go home." Keiichiro responded, interrupting the boy as he then walked off before he turned to the head of the committee. "I just advised a student on the dangers of secondhand smoking and getting contact high due to the smokers we have been dealing with." He then informed.

"But it seemed like you were grilling him over something. Don't just pull students aside and lecture them out of nowhere, Keiichiro. It's rude." Homura however responded and advised in a chidding manner.

"Ah, my apologies ma'am." Keiichiro responded.

The tan sighed girl in turn sighed to that. "Look, I'm honestly really frustrated today, so let's go hunting for some troublemakers." Homura confessed and requested.

"You're...kinda scary today." Keiichiro awkwardly admitted.

"Am I? Well, I better use it to our advantage." Homura replied as the two began walking, only to see a smoke trail. "Oh come on, smoking again!?" She got out in annoyance.

"They just don't seem to want to learn..." Keiichiro responded in disapproval.

As the two followed the smoke trail, they soon saw three students that were smoking cigarettes, though they immediately noticed the disciplinary committee members.

"Aw shit, it's the bitch that murdered Mineta!" One the boys got out in a panic.

"Isn't he still alive?" Another guy however asked.

"SHUT UP! RUN!" The first guy exclaimed as the group started running.

"Who the...Who the hell is Mineta?" Homura got out in confusion before shaking her head. "Gah, stupid rumor mill!" She then grumbled out. "After them!" She soon ordered.

"Yes ma'am!" Keiichiro responded as the two began chasing after them.

However after a while...

"Shoot, we lost them..." Homura muttered in annoyance. "They fast punks I'll give you that." She then admitted.

However the committee member didn't think the same. "ONORE DELINQUENTS!" Keiichiro roared in frustration.

"We'll get them next time Keiichiro." Homura reassured. "...And that time is right now. You know, after a quick break." She then added.

"Hai, I've been preparing for this day since I was 10 years old..." Keiichiro got out with a nostalgic smile.

"You seriously went and prepared yourself to fight off a band of delinquents back in elementary school?" Homura however asked with a sweatdrop.

"I was a very forward-thinking kid." Keiichiro replied. "At first it was because of a criminal that was harassing people in my neighborhood and everyone else was too afraid to do anything about it, so I tried to handle it myself. Then a police officer came and convinced me otherwise to not risk my life and he was able to apprehend the criminal and bring him to justice. Since then, I became inspired to be in law enforcement." He then explained in a nostalgic tone.

"Well that at least explains why you want to be a cop." Homura then got out. "A good one inspired you." She then added with a nod of understanding. "...We should go after those delinquents now." She then suggested.

"Yes ma'am!" Keiichiro responded in agreement as the two started heading out.

Homura meanwhile felt as though her bond with her committee member was growing stronger as a result.

JUSTICE RANK 2

Stubborn: Skills have a small chance to deal normal damage to an enemy regardless of resistances.

"Huh, that could be helpful..." Homura thought before seeing her committee member running after the delinquents. "Hey, wait for me!" She called out.

"I see them!" Keiichiro declared

"SHIT! RUN!" The lead delinquent exclaimed as the three began to bolt.

One scuffle later, which included a comedic chase, the delinquents were being dragged over to the counselor's office, letting him deal with them.

"Oh, I gotta go, Keiichiro." Homura got out as she put her phone away. "I'll see you next time." She then informed.

"Understood ma'am, I'll handle things from here." Keiichiro responded with a nod and a salute.

Nodding back, Homura headed out as she took in a deep breath. "Time to confront Makoto-senpai..." She thought to herself in a serious tone.

(Yongen-Jaya, Leblanc)

The Vice Leader soon arrived and entered the cafe.

"Good afternoon Boss." Asuka politely greeted.

"Hey." Sojiro greeted before noticing the distracted expression on her face. "Hm, you look a little off today. Did Akira do something?" He soon asked.

"No, just..." Asuka started before sighing. "I don't want to talk about it." She vaguely requested.

In response, Sojiro noticed the uneasy expression on the girl's face. "Well...I won't pry. Plus, there's nothing like coffee to bring your spirit" He responded with a sigh. "So, here for a lesson this time?" He then guessed.

"Yes sir." Asuka replied. "Let me get changed." She then added before walking over the bathroom.

Moments later, the Vice Leader was in her uniform as she got to work, whipping up two cups of coffee for the both of them,

"This is...Mocha Matari." Sojiro informed as he got a taste for it.

"Mocha...Matari?" Asuka slowly repeated with a curious look on her face before taking a sip.

"Let me explain!" Sojiro began. "Mocha denotes that the coffee was exported from Mocha, a port town in the Republic of Yemen Mocha Matari has a complex spicy and chocolate flavor profile with a heavy, winey body to compliment it." He then revealed.

"Oh..." Asuka got out.

"...You're getting better, but the coffee is still flawed. You're bringing out the coffee's potential, but not quite reaching its full strength." Sojiro informed and explained.

"Hai!" Asuka replied in a determined manner. "Would you like some sushi Boss?" She then offered.

Sojiro in response smiled to that. "Sure, I recently got a fresh flounder in the fridge." He then informed.

That in turn caused Asuka to smile. "Coming right up!" She replied in excitement to that as she went to the fridge and got the fish mentioned before getting to work.

(Niijima Residence)

Homura had to double check the address as soon as she saw the building. This place was way more expensive than where she and her roommate were living. And she was attending a place like Shujin...?

"So, this is where Makoto-senpai lives..." Homura muttered as she looked at the door to the apartment. "Her sister must be doing quite well to live here..." She then added before taking a deep breath and brought her hand up to knock.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Soon, the door opened to reveal a worn out Makoto with only a long white t-shirt on with massive bags under her eyes.

"Uh...Hello, Ma-" Homura awkwardly started.

SLAM!

Only for the door to be slammed shut. "If you're here for that fucker of a principal, go away." Makoto's muffled voice harshly ordered in a blunt manner from the other side of the door.

"Dammit, come on...It's about the...No, let's ignore the stupid mafia thing. Come on, just open up." Homura soon got out.

"LEAVE!" Makoto however shouted out.

To hearing that, Homura's eye twitched. "I'm not until we resolve this!" She responded as she stood her ground. "Makoto-senpai, come out!" She then called.

"Why? So you can continue pretending to be my friend?" Makoto accused.

"Why do you keep thinking I'm pretending?" Homura responded. "Just cause I'm one of...them?" She then asked.

"..." Makoto however remained silent to that.

"Look, it...it was never like that! Sure, it was to try and get you off our backs but the friendship was real!" Homura responded in a guilt filled tone.

Makoto didn't respond as she curled up into a ball and sat against the door with her head in her knees.

"Makoto-senpai! Come on! Open up!" Homura once more called out, feeling something breaking in her. "Don't ignore me! Please...!" She then began sobbing out.

However, Makoto refused to answer, her eyes widened in shock at hearing the sobbing.

"Makoto-senpai...!" Homura called out as she hit the door some more. "...AAAAAHHHHHH! DAMMIT MAKOTO-SENPAI! WHY ARE YOU BEING SO STUBBORN!? God, is this what it feels like to deal with me!?" She soon grumbled out in frustration.

Makoto's eyes however dilated as tears began leaking out.

THUD!

On the other side, Homura also heard the whimpering as her head struck the door with a thud. "None of it...none of it was a lie..." She quietly got out. "I never tried...pretending to be your friend..." She soon revealed. "Every time, I always tried to convince the others you were a good person...someone with troubles like everyone else..." She then added.

"...I'm not a good person though..." Makoto however mumbled out. "...I always looked away...for my own selfishness..." She soon stated. "Ann probably thinks I'm a traitorous bitch...and I am one..." She then added in shame.

"Forget about Ann! She can just keep sulking!" Homura growled out before sighing. "She just...she's not over the whole Shiho thing...and she's right to hate me over everything...but it's not right to hate you." She soon informed. "I know you came to your own conclusions...and we didn't exactly look innocent but...dammit, we all want the same thing! We can do this if we all work together!" She then added.

"...Did you find something?" Makoto muttered out her question.

"...It's drugs, Makoto-senpai. People are getting tricked and forced into trafficking drugs." Homura soon revealed. "Please...Don't you care?" She then asked.

Makoto's eyes meanwhile widened to hearing that it was worse than she thought. "...Of course I care..." She soon replied. "But what can I do?" She eventually asked.

"Come to Central Street tomorrow. And we'll see then." "If you don't want to talk to me or even see me, it'll be fine. Just...we...I...Just come tomorrow." She got out before pushing herself away from the door.

"...I want to see you..." Makoto murmured out. "...I just don't deserve to, though..." She then added.

"Cause you made a mistake?" Homura however asked. "Join the club, we all make mistakes...some more than others..." She then mumbled out. "Just come to school tomorrow okay? I don't want me and Akira to get expelled." She eventually requested.

"...He threatened you again?" Makoto soon asked in anger and fury while narrowing her eyes.

"Yeah..." Homura replied. "He's hellbent on kicking us out by any means..." She then added in a serious tone.

"That bastard of a principal..." Makoto soon growled out.

GRRRRR!

Suddenly, Homura's stomach growled, loudly. "That's right, I forgot to eat lunch." She remembered. "I'm leaving, okay? The next time I see you...it better be at school tomorrow...please..." She then requested before going to leave.

No response.

Homura sighed. That was the end of that.

Suddenly, she heard a door open and close, causing her to turn...to see a bento in front of Makoto's apartment.

Blinking to that, Homura walked over and picked it up. "Makoto-senpai?" She got out in confusion as she then opened to see a good amount of food. "Makoto-senpai?" She called out once more.

No response.

Well...actions spoke louder than words.

Homura let herself smile a little as she went off to sit down somewhere nearby.

BZZT! BZZT!

Homura then took her phone out to see a conversation starting. It was a direct message from Akira, not a group chat.

[TheWildJ0ker: So, how did it go with Makoto?]

[FireGirl20: She no longer cares.]

[FireGirl20: About anything related to that fucker of a principal.]

[FireGirl20: She's coming back tomorrow.]

[FireGirl20: But only just to get lectured by the bastard of a principal.]

(...)

[TheWildJ0ker: She has a sister, right? If she keeps skipping school, she'll just force her to go eventually.]

[TheWildJ0ker: She can't keep running away.]

[FireGirl20: Then you tell her.]

[FireGirl20: How she got away with it today is beyond me...]

[FireGirl20: I told her about Central Street and how the mafia's forcing students to sell drugs.]

[TheWildJ0ker: ...Ann's gonna be pissed.]

[FireGirl20: Let her. When isn't she when Makoto-senapi's involved? :( ]

[TheWildJ0ker: You know, for someone so sweet, she can be really bitter.]

[FireGirl20: I will dump sugar on her until she finally realises how wrong she is.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Isn't hot sugar, like, used as a torture technique back in the medieval era or something?]

[FireGirl20:...Is it?]

[TheWildJ0ker: My mom tried to make caramel once and she still has the burns on her hands.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Getting off topic.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Still, after what happened, I get you Homura and I understand why you want to help Makoto.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Just don't push it too hard. She needs to recover a little on her own.]

[FireGirl20: Even though she wants to see me?]

[FireGirl20: I made her dependent on me...]

[TheWildJ0ker: Friendship should be a mutual bond, where you support each other through thick and thin.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Emotional dependency ultimately hurts the person. They need to stand on their own, but can stand stronger with support.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Why do you think the Phantom Thieves are fighting? To give people the power to stand on their own.]

[FireGirl20:...You're right...]

[FireGirl20: Makoto-senpai felt as though she couldn't stand on her own...which was why I supported her...but ended up making her unable to stand without me.]

[FireGirl20: I know what to do. Thanks Leader.]

[TheWildJ0ker: Always here to help.]

"..." Homura was silent as she realized she finished the bento the Shujin Student Council President gave her.

It was that delicious.

"...I'll give it back to her tomorrow." Homura muttered to herself as she placed the bento in her bag. "...And get her some lunch as well." She then added as a yawn escaped her lips.

All of this was exhausting to the tan skinned girl.

So with that, she left to go home and sleep in the embrace of her roommate...ignoring the older woman with grey hair walking past her...and noticing her best distinguishing feature.

"...Kids these days..." Sae sighed to herself before frowning.

Was that girl holding her sister's bento?

Meanwhile, Makoto was laying on her bed as she looked at the ceiling. "Now I get why some people ditch..." She quietly mumbled to herself before sighing. "...I'm...not a good friend..." She then confessed to herself.

"I'm home." A familiar voice called out.

"..." Makoto however remained silent to that as she turned her body away from the door. "I don't want to talk to her..." She thought to herself as she heard the door open.

"...She must be asleep..." Sae muttered with a frown. "...To think something as minor as that made her this way. If she keeps moping around like this..." She then quietly added before trailing off with a sigh.

Makoto however narrowed her eyes to that. "It's not minor to me Sis..." She thought to herself in held back anger while balling her hands into fists. "Not that you would care..." She then mentally added.

Pi Pi Pi Pi Pi!

"And I just got home." Sae groaned out as she closed the door to answer her phone.

Makoto quietly sighed to herself as she turned her body and glared at the door as she remembered her sister's words and actions. "Che...always the same with her..." She muttered in a spiteful manner. "Every day is the same with her...ever since our father died...just because of how society is...how they are towards women..." She then added to remind herself.

Was she going to grow up this bitter too at this rate? Cause of how everything was in the world?

"...I...I...I need sleep." Makoto thought with a quiet groan while her eyelids started to feel heavy.

She did have somewhere to be tomorrow. . .And she was gonna help this time in any way she can...

So before she fully fell asleep, she got her phone and typed in two simple messages before losing consciousness.

[Makoto N: Homura-san.]

[Makoto N: I'm in.]
