A/N: Hey guys! There was a HUGE surge in favorites and follows since the chapter, enough to shoot well over 350 for both! I am so amazed and grateful that you guys are continuing to express interest and enjoyment for this fic, and welcome any newcomers who've only just discovered it with open arms.

So after a lot of thought, I've decided not to write another Disney World chapter. Although I know a few of you wanted another Disney World chapter, the previous issues that I addressed in the last chapter are still in effect, and I just couldn't find the motivation or inspiration to write on another Disney World park, as I didn't have as much to work with in comparison to Magic Kingdom.

…So we're going a different amusement park instead! Islands of Adventure gives me PLENTY to work with, and will provide a similar yet different environment that will be just as fun for the Schmidts and Marshalls. I wanted to write at least one more amusement park chapter in Orlando since the kids most likely won't come back here (at least not in a chapter I will write), but their trip to Florida amusement parks deserved more than one chapter. I think this is an acceptable compromise for you guys, and I hope you enjoy at any rate.

I can assure you, with utmost certainty, that UCN will begin very soon.

Oh, and one last thing. If you go back to the battle between Dark!Mike and William Afton, I've changed two things. The first is the symbol on Dark!Mike's armor, as I have changed it from the sigil of darkness from Fire Emblem to a rather obscure demonic skull symbol used by orcs from Lord of the Rings. The second is the Shadow Attack Trolls that Mike summoned, as they are now a combination of both Mordor's AND Gundabad's elite Olog-hai. Say what you want about the Hobbit, but I think they had some damn good designs as far as the Gundabad attack trolls were concerned.

Chapter 95 – Islands of Adventure

While the opinion of which of the two winter holidays the ghostly children had experienced so far was the best or most memorable would vary from ghost to ghost, there would be no argument whatsoever on which one had been the most fun.

After the delights and wonders of Magic Kingdom, Mike and the Marshall adults had taken their children through a cycle of all the other main Disney World water parks. They had journeyed into the jungles of Animal Kingdom, immersed themselves into the cinematic delights of Hollywood Studios, and done the closest equivalent they could possibly do to traveling the world and exploring the future at Epcot. Each experience was just as unique as the last, but to a family of ghost kids who had seen nothing but their own prisons for the past 30 years, all of the parks were as overwhelming as they were wonderful.

And though the dead children didn't know it, the fun wasn't over just yet.

"Well, this has been a blast!" Mike remarked as he drove his rented car through the archway of Disney World, leaving the iconic world of wonders and fun behind. The Marshalls had arrived with their own car, so now it was just the man himself and his ghostly sons and daughters. "But we've been to every park outside of the water ones for obvious reasons, stayed at a different hotel for every night, and our run has sadly come to an end."

"Awwww…" Cassidy groaned, her eyes glued to the gate of Disney World and its waving flags as it slowly disappeared from sight. "We had so much fun, though!"

"And now we have to go back home," Jeremy agreed gloomily. "God dammit."

"Yeah," Mike agreed solemnly. "We'd have to go back to Utah, in what's basically the middle of fucking nowhere. You'd go back to doing whatever you kids normally do around the house and I have to deal with adult shit like filing my taxes and all that garbage. So you know what?" His face suddenly broke into a grin. "FUCK going back home. We're in Orlando, and there is absolutely no fucking reason whatsoever for us to leave so soon."

Delighted and hopeful expressions appeared on the ghosts' faces. "Wait, REALLY?" Gabe asked eagerly. "We can stay a little longer?"

Mike laughed. "Well, not THAT long," he clarified. "Maybe about three days? But it's what we DO with those three days that matters. And there's one place we have to go to that I think you guys will particularly enjoy…"

"Oooooooooh…" Susie gushed. "Where are we going? And will the Marshalls be coming with us?"

Mike winked at his daughter. "You'll see…"

The Next Day…

"Aww, HELL YES!" Fritz whooped as he caught side of their friends a few feet away. History had repeated itself in a remarkably short span of time, as one again the two families were reuniting in front of the gate of an amusement park. Unlike the ornate train station of Magic Kingdom, the entrance to the Islands of Adventure amusement park was a stone archway flanked by palm trees and massive stone structures. The words "The Adventure Begins" were engraved on the archway, with a metal lantern hanging on each side of the welcoming message.

Even though Islands of Adventure's entrance might not have been as decorative and exotic as Magic Kingdom's, it was more than enough to stir up feelings of excitement and a desire to explore within the ghostly children.

"Hey guys!" Meghan greeted the ghosts cheerfully as they got closer. "I can't believe our parents came up with the idea to bring us to a SECOND amusement park!"

"Wait, you guys didn't know either?" Liz asked in shock.

"Nope!" Alex answered. "They kept us in the dark just as much as they kept you. But honestly," he laughed, "I am NOT complaining one bit!"

"Neither are we!" Jeremy replied happily.

"Let's hurry up with the picture so we can get going!" Stella advised, and Mike quickly asked for a nearby tourist to take a picture for them. Not wasting any time, the two families ventured under the arch and into the park, taking in the sight of the Port of Entry around them. The buildings were made of stone and more traditional materials creating a more simplistic atmosphere that was a sharp contrast to the exotic decorations of Magic Kingdom's Main Street U.S.A. And yet there was a charm to the locale that was different from any of the Disney World parks, something that fascinated the children in its own unique way.

After a few minutes of walking, the children reached the end of the roadway leading into the park. Unlike Magic Kingdom, the center of the park was actually a huge lake, and the actual park itself surrounded the lake in a circular fashion, like the outer edge of a ring. The kids tried to get a peek at distant parts of the Islands of the Adventure, and although some of the areas were blocked off by trees, what they DID see was more than enough to raise their excitement even more.

"Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Fritz insisted. "We have so much to see and so much to do!"

"Well," Mike smirked, "just like before, I came prepared." He reached into his pocket and whipped out several Universal Expresses, handing all but one to the Marshalls. An expenditure that would have been quite harrowing and costly for most individuals, but was less than chump change to a secret millionaire.

"I don't value you as a friend because of your money, Mike, but God I love it when you do shit like this," Ryan admitted, struggling to hold back a chuckle as his kids accepted the passes.

"I can agree with that," Charlie added, rolling her eyes fondly at her father.

"Now then, on to business," Mike unfurled a map for everyone to see. "There are two ways we can go about this. We can go Clockwise, or we can go Counter-Clockwise. I think the left has more exciting stuff to do, but right means we can get to the Harry Potter part of the park faster, and I know my kids love that kind of stuff. I think we can skip Seuss Landing as that's a little below the kids' age bracket except for maybe Cassidy and Susie. Toon Lagoon's also out, cause it's a water park…and we forgot to bring bathing suits."

"Crap," Stella muttered. "I knew I was forgetting something."

"So which way do you kids want to go first?" Mike asked.

Alex and Meghan looked at each other and shrugged. "We're fine either way, honestly."

"I want to go see the Harry Potter world first!" Susie immediately exclaimed. "I want to see if it's really just like the movies!"

"I don't think we'll see anything like this ever again!" Liz agreed. "I'm so excited for it, more than anything else here!"

"Can we go to the right first?" Gabe pleaded. "Please?"

"Right it is!" Mike declared, earning cheers from the ghost kids as the Marshalls looked on with warmth and amusement. "Now then, if we go to the right, there's only two quote-unquote islands between here and the Wizarding World, one of which we're skipping, so it shouldn't take us very long to get there…"

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

"Well that was interesting," Charlie remarked as they left the Lost Continent behind them. "I didn't think helping Poseidon fight against an evil demon would be the first thing I'd do at Islands of Adventure."

"They really went all-out in making the temple, didn't they?" Liz commented, clearly impressed by the detail and effort that went into creating the architecture of the show. "I mean, did you see that giant hand holding the trident?"

"That demon though, pfffft!" Fritz snorted. "Lame!"

"You're not wrong," Gabe agreed, making sure that only his family could hear what he said next. "I mean, come on, compared to Nightmare and even Nightmare Springtrap, that guy was such a joke!"

"I mean, these guys probably haven't seen demons before, so can you really blame them?" Mike asked dryly as they crossed under the arch into Harry Potter world. The moment they did so, the ghosts stopped in the air, staring around them with starry-eyed gazes.

The world they had entered was almost exactly like how they had imagined the streets of Harry Potter's locales to be. Quaint stone houses and buildings lined the streets, creating a perfect replica of what would have been a traditional British town…were it not for the special buildings and landmarks that truly identified it as a Harry Potter attraction.

"Look!" Meghan pointed at a store with green windows. "There's Honeydukes the candy store!"

"And I can see the Hogwarts Express over there!" Jeremy identified the unmistakable red and black train to the right.

"Isn't that the Three Broomsticks?" Alex gestured towards a building with three broomsticks arranged above the entrance in a triangle. His eyes fell upon a building connected next to it marked with a sign that had a warthog's head drawn upon it. "And over there, the Hog's Head! We can get actual Butterbeer and Pumpkin Fizz there!"

"Oooooooh!" Cassidy exclaimed. "Dad, can you get some and we can possess you to taste it?" she pleaded.

"Sure, but you're probably not gonna get more than a few sips per ghost, cause if I drank a tankard for every one of you I'd probably explode my bladder," Mike replied.

"That's fine with us!" Charlie assured him.

"It's a little early for that though, so why don't we go on a ride first?" Ryan suggested. "Where do you want to go?"

"HOGWARTS!" the ghosts instantly exclaimed.

"I figured as much," Mike shook his head in amusement. The two families maneuvered their way past the tourists wandering through the streets of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, as Hogwarts was at the very edge of the Harry Potter world on the opposite side of where they had come. As they left the last of Hogsmeade's buildings behind them, Hogwarts finally came into view…and the ghosts' jaws dropped open at what they saw.

The majestic castle and symbol of fantasy had been recreated almost straight from the movies, its gigantic spires and towers looming proudly over the tourists far below. The creators of this Hogwarts had focused all their attention on as many intricate details as possible, from the windows, markings, and columns on the towers to the columns of the hallways in the far distance. The very fact that Hogwarts had been recreated so perfectly was almost magical in and of itself, as the ghosts couldn't fathom how mere human hands had created such a masterpiece.

"Oh my God…" Jeremy breathed. "It looks…it looks so real!"

"It's perfect!" Liz gushed. "It looks exactly like how Hogwarts appears from the movies! I can't believe they actually made something like this!"

"We HAVE to explore this!" Gabe insisted, earning eager nods of agreement from his siblings and some jealous looks from the Marshalls. "I mean, we can fly around and everything! Hell, we can even explore the whole castle from the inside!"

"I hate to burst your bubble there," Mike interrupted, "but most of the work on the castle is only on the exterior. They didn't actually recreate the entire castle. I'm pretty sure most of it is just for show."

"Aww, really?" Susie groaned. "That sucks! Thanks for ruining our hopes and dreams, dad…"

"Hey, not so fast," Mike smiled. "While most of the castle might just be an extremely glorified decoration, they actually DID recreate a few rooms. And there's a ride in there too!"

"Which ones?" Gabe asked, his and the other's interest instantly renewed.

"You'll just have to go in and find out!" Mike answered. "Thank God for these Universal Express passes, cause fuck lines."

"Fuck lines!" Alex agreed happily as they passed by a metal gate flanked by tall lanterns and two statues of eagles. They passed underneath a gateway with the Hogwarts shield engraved on the top, and found themselves in a dark hallway marked lit faintly with torches on the walls. The ghosts marveled at the architecture of the walls and columns, a design that was just as faithful to the design of the movies' Hogwarts as the outside of the building.

"I think that's the Mirror of Erised over there!" Liz exclaimed, pointing to the left.

"You might be right,"Meghan looked at the mirror more closely, "but I can't really tell."

"Is that light up ahead?" Jeremy pointed ahead. To their surprise, there was indeed sunlight pouring behind a corner to the left. "This can't be over already, right? There's no way."

"I doubt it," Alex replied skeptically. To everyone's relief, the corner merely led to a different segment of the waiting line instead of the end of the ride, this particular section covered by a greenhouse-like roof even though there were only a few plants to be seen. Fortunately, the Schmidts and Marshalls were able to quickly make their way through, and were treated at the next entrance to the sight of a majestic golden griffin at the opposite end of the hallway.

"Damn, how did they make these statues?" Fritz whistled as they stared up to their right at the golden statue of a bishop, holding a staff in one hand and a miniature Hogwarts in the other.

"Those are the House point hourglasses over there, aren't they?" Charlie pointed at four ornate glass containers in the next segment, each containing green, blue, red, and yellow stones respectively. "And Gryffindor's in the lead. Wouldn't expect anything else," she shook her head in amusement.

"Are we about to see Dumbledore's office?" Cassidy asked excitedly as they followed the path as it circled around the golden griffin and continued behind it. Unfortunately, while it didn't lead to the Headmaster's office just yet, it did lead to a tall chamber that was filled with portraits, all of which were moving and talking to either the visitors or to each other.

"I'm actually seeing pictures talk," Fritz shook his head in amazement. "This feels so unreal."

"Can you do something like that to Dad's pictures, Charlie?" Susie asked her older sister.

Charlie frowned. "I don't think so," she answered in the negative. "Even if I could make them move, I wouldn't even begin to know what to make them do."

Mike gave them a stern glance. "No fucking around with my house," he warned.

The ghosts giggled and the Marshalls rolled their eyes as they passed into the next chamber. To everyone's delight, they had arrived in Dumbledore's office, which looked every bit the scholarly abode that they had imagined. The cupboards filled with trinkets, the Pensive, the talking portraits of past Headmasters, the bookcases, and the unmistakable golden desk – the many objects and decorations that had brought the Headmaster's office to life in the films had been carefully arranged to recreate the scene in real life.

"Wow," Mike whistled. "My personal study looks like shit compared to this."

"At least you have a personal study," Ryan deadpanned, causing the kids to snicker.

"Do you think Mr. Schmidt could remake this in his house if he wanted to?" Alex wondered.

"Oh hell no," Mike retorted as they left the office behind them. "Apart from the bullshit amounts of money I'd have to pay to make that a reality, there's nobody I'd trust to actually get it right and I'm way too fucking lazy to arrange it myself. That and none of the rooms would fit this kind of thing anyway."

"All very good reasons," Meghan commented as they ventured into the next chamber, which turned out to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. While the room might not have been nearly as ornately decorated as the Headmaster's office, the layout of the classroom, the neatly arranged rows of desks, the professor's tables cluttered with trinkets, and the small spiral stairway leading up to the small office were all unmistakable. Banners with strange symbols and a giant dragon-like skeleton hung from the ceiling, details that everyone almost missed until Mike pointed them out at the last second.

"I'd take a class in this room, and this is coming from someone who thinks school sucks!" Alex commented, taking the classroom in with a sweep of his eyes.

"How do you guys think Voldemort cursed the DADA position?" Jeremy wondered. "Do you think he cursed the whole position in general or just the room?"

"If he only cursed the room, then people have been pretty stupid in figuring out how to get around it," Gabe commented dryly. "I mean seriously, just change the classroom where you're holding all the DADA classes and the end, problem solved."

"It can't be that easy," Liz agreed. Just as they were about to leave, a hologram of Harry, Ron, and Hermione suddenly appeared at the doorway to the DADA private office, talking to the visitors.

"Hey, it's the Golden Trio!" Susie waved at the three protagonists of the Harry Potter series as they dryly commented about how boring Professor Binns was. Wondering if there were any other hologram presentations, the ghosts followed the Marshalls through another hallway and past the very familiar picture of an animated Fat Lady.

"We're about to see the Gryffindor Common Room!" Alex announced as they entered a warm and cozy red-colored chamber with several more talking portraits, red pieces of furniture, and a fireplace to the side.

"Oooooh!" Cassidy sighed. "This looks real comfortable! I wouldn't mind taking a nap in here!"

"No holograms though…" Fritz shook his head in disappointment. "That's a bummer."

"This room probably wouldn't fit one, to be fair," Meghan pointed out as they left the common room behind.

"I think that's the last room in the Hogwarts tour," Mike mused as they watched the Sorting Hat speak to them from a pedestal on an alcove in the wall. They turned the corner to the left and found a row of several seats connected together, the unmistakable sign that they were about to take part in a ride.

"Are we going to see something like a movie?" Fritz asked as the living members of their group made themselves comfortable in the seats and the ghosts anchored themselves.

"It's part ride, part cinematic, and a whole lot of fun!" Stella assured them as the ride started. Almost immediately, the passengers were thrown into the world of Hogwarts through a swirling green portal, finding themselves riding around the towers of Hogwarts on a broomstick. What started as a relatively carefree ride behind Harry and Ron quickly escalated as Hagrid worriedly questioned about a dragon that had broken free from its collar.

"Dammit Hagrid!" Gabe groaned as the dragon in question chased both Harry and the audience around Hogwarts and into a barn. The ghosts were surprised to see the ride transition from a cinematic into an actual real-life recreation, complete with an animatronic dragon breathing steam and flame dangerously close to them.

"Holy crap!" Fritz exclaimed as the ride maneuvered away from the dragon. "I was NOT expecting that, Jesus Christ!"

"It's not over yet," Charlie warned, as the riders found themselves flying away from a dragon and straight into the Forbidden Forest. The ghosts didn't exactly remember all the details surrounding the chapters of the Forbidden Forest all that much, but the intimidating spiders and spider webs quickly reminded them of Aragog and the near miss Harry and Ron had both had in the second book.

"Who honestly thought that leaving a giant nest of killer spiders in the middle of a forest next to a bunch of schoolkids was a good idea?" Liz ranted as the ride transitioned back into a cinematic, straight in the middle of a Quidditch match. The kids watched with excitement and amusement as Harry and Malfoy battled each other to get their hands on the Snitch, but the lighthearted atmosphere quickly took a darker turn as dementors suddenly swarmed the Quidditch pitch, the soul-sucking creatures reaching out towards Harry as he fended them off.

"What's going on?" Susie asked frantically as the ride switched again, this time to a dark cave with animatronic dementors screeching and breathing menacingly on them.

"God, those dementors are terrifying!" Jeremy shuddered as they floundered about in the darkness. Fortunately, as the ride switched back to a cinematic, Harry came to the rescue, blasting the dementors away with a Patronus. The danger was not over yet, however, as the cave began to collapse around them.

"Let's get out of here!" Cassidy exclaimed as they barely managed to escape the cave in time. They breathed a sigh of relief as Harry guided them into the Great Hall, where he, Dumbledore, and groups of students applauded and thanked them for their courage and a job well done. The Schmidt and Marshall children cheered as they flew through the same green portal as before, signaling the end of the ride and their return to reality.

"That was SO COOL!" Gabe exclaimed as they left the ride and Hogwarts castle behind them. "I don't think I've ever seen a ride that mixed real life stuff and film clips so perfectly before!"

"Heck, I don't think I've seen ANYTHING like this before, period!"Meghan agreed excitedly.

"That was just as much fun as I remember it!" Alex whooped, raising a fist in the air. "Hell yeah!"

"Can we do that again?" Susie begged everyone else. "Please?"

"Well, hold it," Charlie reined her enthusiasm in a bit. "There's still other things to do here. I know I saw at least one or two more rides, and we still haven't visited the Hog's Head or Ollivander's yet!"

"Not to mention that we haven't even seen a good half of the park yet," Liz reminded them. "I don't want to stay here for too long if it means we miss out on other stuff!"

"Well, why don't you guys go on a few more rides, fly around Hogwarts if you want to, and then we can meet at the Three Broomsticks for a good old English meal and some Butterbeer?" Mike suggested. "Liz is right. As fun as exploring through Hogwarts might be, there's more things to do here than just one ride, like how it was a few years ago. If I'm right about the rest of the park, there are other things to do in the Islands of Adventure that are just as much fun, and maybe even crazier…

Jurassic Park

"Ah, that hit the spot…" Stella sighed contentedly as they left Harry Potter world behind them, this time using the exit on the opposite side of the region right next to Hogwarts. "Something to be said about a traditional English meal, that's for sure."

"I didn't really care so much about that," Mike admitted. "What I was REALLY after was the Butterbeer." He grinned. "And man oh man, that shit tasted goooooood."

"I know, right?" Charlie agreed immediately. "A drink with the sweet taste of butter? It was exactly how I dreamed Butterbeer would taste! Now I know why the Harry Potter students loved drinking it so much!"

"I could drink that stuff all day," Jeremy added approvingly. "Thanks for letting us all taste it, dad."

"No problem," Mike replied with an amused smile. "You guys are lucky I hadn't drunk anything in a while and I was really thirsty, cause otherwise I wouldn't have had enough in me to drink 2 Butterbeers instead of one. Might get a third on the way out at the end of the day, but not now."

Jeremy looked around him at the new region they had entered, now that they had left Harry Potter world behind. The region of Jurassic Park couldn't have looked any more different, as the stone buildings had been completely replaced by dense trees and forest, a jungle environment remarkably similar to that of Animal Kingdom. The most noticeable exception was was the Discovery Center, a white stone building with hut-like roofs that was clearly meant to reflect the research center of Jurassic Park in the movies. However, the group's main focus was on the feature ride of this segment of the park, the River Adventure.

"Isn't this a water ride?" Liz asked skeptically as they made their way through the line, which was flanked by red pillars and walls of plants just beyond. "Doesn't seem like we'll get much out of this."

"Under normal circumstances, you'd be correct," Mike answered reassuringly. "However, this ride has a lot more to it than most water ridesthat I'm sure you'll enjoy it even without the whole water thing."

"Good enough for me!" Cassidy declared as they approached the artificial river that created the main path of the ride. The ghosts' eyes widened as they saw the boats that were floating on the river, being guided by rails on either edge.

"Aww hell yeah, this is gonna be sweet!" Fritz exclaimed as Mike and the Marshalls got into a boat and the ghosts anchored themselves in. The boat began to slowly drifted forward, climbing up a ramp for a few seconds before being released into the river proper. A voice began to speak around them, welcoming them to the world of Jurassic Park.

"Ooh, there's the Jurassic Park gate!" Susie pointed at the imposing structure in front of them, a stone gateway with a skeletal T-Rex engraved upon it. The wooden doors of the gate slowly swung open, revealing a colorful yellow dinosaur groaning as it lifted its long neck into the sky. The sounds of beasts, birds, and creatures echoed all around them, creating an even more realistic impression of a journey through a prehistoric jungle.

"Man, look at those dinosaurs!" Gabe pointed to a group of small dinosaurs with pink backs and yellow underbellies lowering their heads to the ground. "They look so cool!"

"All this attention to detail is so beautiful!" Meghan complimented as they passed next to several column-like rock formations with water pouring down in front of them like a waterfall. Almost immediately after they passed the stone pillars, a geyser of water exploded out of the ground, causing Susie and Cassidy to briefly freak out as the rest of the children marveled at the green Stegosaurus lifting its neck up to stare at them.

"Oh, geez!" Gabe yelped as he turned around to stare right into the face of a much larger Stegosaurus whose head was only a short distance away from the boats. "Crap, that scared me!"

"Didn't realize just how big these things actually are,"Alex whistled as they got a glimpse of the larger Stegosaurus's full body, all the way down to the spines on the tail. "I wonder if they were actually this large back when they weren't extinct?"

"We may never know," Charlie answered as the Jurassic Park theme began to play around them. "But it's fun to guess!"

Before anyone could respond, the head of a duck-billed dinosaur suddenly erupted out of the river a short distance away, startling everyone. "The heck is that thing?" Alex asked incredulously. "Is that like the dinosaur version of the platypus or something?"

"Hell if I know," Mike shrugged. "I think that was the…Hadrosaurus, or something. I dunno, I wasn't paying attention."

"Uhm, guys?" Liz pointed nervously at the metal gate in front of them. A far more ominous structure than the main Jurassic Park gate with the words "DANGER: RAPTOR CONTAINMENT AREA" written on a sign. "That doesn't look good."

"Yep," Fritz agreed as they passed through the gate. "We're fucked." As if to reinforce his words, an alarm started to blare through the air as they approached a large factory-like metal building, a glaring contrast to the mostly natural environment of the ride up until that point. A different voice began to frantically shout orders to rescue someone as the boat passed by two small raptors pulling at a piece of fabric with their teeth from opposite sides. A menacing roar and ominous music suddenly echoed from within the building as they slowly entered, passing through a warehouse-like containment area with many racks, barrels, and boxes.

"Uh-oh," Jeremy muttered as the boat was lifted upward again, much longer and higher than before. The building plunged into darkness, causing the kids to look around nervously. There was a brief flash of light, and the kids jolted as they stared face to face with a raptor, its mouth opened up in the middle of a fearsome roar.

"Ack!" Susie shrieked as they finally reached the top. "That spooked me! I was NOT expecting that!"

"You and me both," Cassidy shuddered as they passed through what appeared to be an abandoned control room with TVs flickering erratically, the looming shadow of another raptor making it very clear why the room had been abandoned. The alarms continue to sound as loudly as ever, with flashing red lights providing the only brief and temporary illumination in the darkened chamber.

"God, what else is there besides the raptors?" Gabe asked nervously. Barely a second later, an unknown creature scratched three giant claw marks into the wall, followed by snarls and roars that were the most ferocious of them all.

"I have a feeling I know the answer," Alex muttered as they passed by a carnivorous dinosaur rattling the frills that surrounded its head menacingly as it roared at them from between two fuel tanks.

"Here it comes," Charlie murmured. And as they turned around one last corner and passed the last few sets of machinery with both anticipation and fear, the ride revealed its last surprise: the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, the king of the dinosaurs himself, glaring down at the boat and the interlopers who rode it from a few feet away. The massive creature lifted its head and roared as the boat drew closer, before leaning down as though it were trying to devour its next victims.

"We're going down!" Susie shrieked. The boat suddenly tilted downward into a rapid descent, the Schmidt and Marshall children lifting their hands into the air and shrieking with delight and exhilaration. "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The boat crashed down into the river and back outside into the jungle with a huge splash, drenching everyone besides the ghosts with a wave of water. "Thank God we remembered to put away our phones and stuff safely," Ryan muttered as the boat returned to its gentle slow pace. Triumphant music began to play and a voice congratulated them for completing the ride as they approached the station where their ride had started.

"I loved this!" Liz praised once they had left the River Adventure behind them. "That was like that one ride in Animal Kingdom! I honestly don't know which one was cooler!"

"Can you imagine what life would be like if dinosaurs still existed?" Jeremy shuddered. "Especially if T-Rex's were still running around? That would be terrifying."

"I wouldn't mind seeing a few Stegosauruses around," Alex admitted. "And that duck-billed dinosaur was kinda funny to look at, not gonna lie."

"I love how every different island is different from each other, but all of them are still so much fun!" Gabe praised. "Is there anything to do here, dad?"

"Hmmm…that River Adventure was the main one," Mike answered after a few seconds of checking his map. "There's this other cool thing called Pteranodon Flyers, and if you guys want we can check out the Discovery Center if you want."

"I honestly wouldn't mind learning more about dinosaurs," Meghan admitted. "And while normally I don't care all that much about museums, this place might go above and beyond to prove me wrong."

"That sounds good to me," Charlie agreed. "It wouldn't be a bad idea to take things easy for a bit after we go through the excitement of this ride and the Pteranodon Flyers."

"Sounds like a plan," Ryan remarked, before he suddenly smirked. "Besides, we can take a little time. If this map isn't wrong there's literally only one thing to see in the next region."

"Really?" Fritz asked incredulously. "And what would that be?"

Skull Island: Reign of Kong

"Uh, wow…" Gabe and the other kids stared up at the intimidating black stone gate that had been fashioned in the shape of a roaring gorilla's mouth, complete with razor sharp fangs. "This is…this is certainly something."

"Skull Island, Reign of Kong," Ryan confirmed. "The only ride in this entire segment of the park."

"Well, with an entrance like that, you probably don't need another ride in the first place," Charlie muttered as they walked or floated under the Kong mouth's upper jaw. They soon found themselves deep in a menacing stone temple dedicated to King Kong, where a menacing ambience echoed through the chambers and skulls lined the walls.

"This is getting creepy," Jeremy muttered as they made their way into the main chamber of the temple. Entire segments of the walls had been carved with the faces of skulls, their eyes and nostrils glowing with the glow of faint flames and their demonic jaws stretched out to cover entire segments of the wall. The ghosts shuddered as they looked upon these skull-like carvings, for they reminded them more than a little of the skull mouths that had spewed out walls of flame when they had played Trivia Murder Party in Mike's mind. An elderly, creepy white-haired witch uttered out indecipherable words from within the main skull's mouth as they slowly advanced through the line. As they watched, the two skull mouth alcoves on either side, which had largely been dormant, suddenly burst into life, flames erupting in both their eyes and mouths in some sort of twisted, dark ritual.

"Oh, God, what did we get ourselves into?" Susie murmured as the chamber darkened and the flames in the skulls' eyes intensified and unholy chanting began to echo all throughout the chamber.

"This seems like a lot of work to devil worship what's basically a giant monkey," Fritz commented, with a show of bravado to try to hide his own nervousness. Fortunately, they were able to move beyond the chamber at this point, though as evidenced by the skeletons scattered in alcoves in the walls, the creepy atmosphere didn't decrease in the slightest. The family found themselves in another large chamber, this one filled with several crates and boxes. One of which contained a giant worm with razor sharp fangs…that was moving as though it were alive.

"God, that is fucking terrifying!" Cassidy shuddered at the hideous worm. "And people went out of there way to actually CAPTURE that thing? Fuck that!"

"Yeah, there's no way I'd ever go out into the jungle to pick up a giant worm," Mike agreed as they passed through a small area where they would pick up their goggles. "Also, kids, this is a 3D or 4D ride or something, so you might not get the full experience.

"That's fine by us!" Liz assured him. "We'll enjoy ourselves anyway."

"Look at that ride cart though!" Meghan pointed in front to what looked like an old, weathered wooden safari bus. "That's so cool!"

"And those skeletons in the wall back there," Alex pointed at three alcoves with three skeletons positioned within them, stalactites and stalagmites extending up and down to give the impression as though they were about to devour the skeletons in their jaws. "Fuck, this is one of the creepiest lines I've ever been in!"

"I think it's our turn!" Stella informed them as another old safari bus slowly drove into the waiting area. The Schmidts and Marshalls climbed in the bus with the rest of the tourists as a safari guide's voice proceeded to jovially welcome them. A few moments later, the bus slowly began to drive forward, and the children were surprised to find themselves back outside, where they could see the entrance to the intimidating stone temple, with a torch flickering with flames on either side of the massive gate.

"I think we're about to go back in again!" Gabe declared as the bus approached the "proper" entrance of the ride and the guide warned them to put their goggles on. The first thing to greet them were three hideous bats, the creatures unfurling and folding their wings repeatedly as they glared at the passengers with their glowing yellow eyes and hissed.

"Spooky…" Jeremy muttered as they passed into a cave, this one having been converted to a makeshift archaeological or research workshop. The guide greeted one of his partners named Kate, only for their exchange to be interrupted by a swarm of giant bats, one of which grabbed Kate and lifted her up into the air.

"Jesus, talk about a bat out of Hell…" Fritz muttered as the bus advanced to a ravine flanked by cliffs. The group watched as Kate sliced the legs off the bat that had capture her to free herself…only to find herself in a pool filled with giant worms with mouths lined with rows of fangs.

"Oh, hell no!" Meghan exclaimed as she made an X with her arms. "Giant bats and dinosaurs are no problem, but giant worms? Fuck that!"

"Sis, I do not blame you for that one bit!" Alex agreed as the bus advanced into a jungle. Raptors chased alongside the bus, only to be interrupted by a giant T-Rex that lifted its head up from the forest floor and snarled at them.

"Are we in Skull Island or Jurassic Park?" Mike asked in a deadpan tone. The children giggled, but before they could answer, the huge figure of a giant ape leapt out from the depths of the forest into the clearing, beating its chest with its fists as it roared and ferociously battled the T-Rex, before lifting it and hurling it away.

"There he is!" Gabe exclaimed. "It's King Kong!"

The giant ape leaned in front of the bus and roared, before turning its attention back to the T-Rex it had been battling earlier. The group watched as the ape and the dinosaur exchanged furious blows with each other, before King Kong brutally finished the battle by grabbing both of the T-Rex's jaws and ripping them apart, killing the creature instantly.

"Oof," Fritz winced. "That is a VICIOUS way to finish a battle."

Charlie shuddered as her mind briefly flashed back to the tortures Mike's demonic aspect had unleashed upon William Afton's broken and defeated spirit. "I can think of worse," she mumbled.

Unfortunately, the danger was far from over, as the impact of the battle had knocked the bus off a cliff, causing it to fall straight towards the jaws of a waiting T-Rex. "Ack!" Susie shrieked as the bus got caught in a tangle of branches just before it could complete its fall, and King Kong leapt down into the cliff to deliver a vicious punch to the T-Rex. Then, inexplicably, the giant ape gently rescued the bus from its fall and lowered it to the ravine floor, letting out one final roar before it climbed up the cliff and out of sight. The bus drove into a cave as the explorer guide excitedly confirmed the existence of Kong, and the passengers were treated to the sight of a giant Kong animatronic head that moved around and growled exactly how one would expect an animal to move. "Thanks for saving us!" Susie waved at the gorilla as the bus drove past King Kong, and the ride reached its conclusion.

"So what did you guys think?" Ryan asked as they left the ride behind them and walked back into the light of the Islands of Adventure.

"I dunno…the ride was cool and all, but I think not having the glasses kind of messed with our perception a bit," Charlie admitted. "And even outside of that, I'm kind of disappointed that a lot of that ride turned out to be more of a cinematic thing than anything else."

"Yeah, Charlie does have a good point," Gabe agreed reluctantly. "The only thing that was real at the end was the King Kong head. It wasn't like the Harry Potter ride, where they blended cinematic and real things so well together."

"If anything, the buildup before the ride was a lot cooler," Liz put in her own two cents. "I mean, did you see that creepy temple, and the witch with the flaming skull walls? That was the most insane thing I've ever seen in a line!"

Mike thought for a moment, then nodded. "I think I agree with you guys," he decided. "But still, I think it was worth it just to see the creepy skull temple line, wouldn't you guys say?"

Alex nodded and grinned. "Oh, definitely. That skull temple was the coolest thing I've ever seen in a ride outside of Hogwarts, hands down."

"It's really amazing just how much work they put into the rides and how the park looks as a whole, isn't it?" Meghan asked, earning enthusiastic nods and sounds of approval from her brother and her friends.

"That was the only thing here, right?" Fritz asked. "What's next?"

"Well, we can skip the Toon Lagoon, since it's a full-blown water park thing and none of us are prepped for it," Mike answered after checking the map. His face suddenly broke into the grin. "But we've got one section left before we've fully cycled through the park. And boy oh boy…"

The ghosts caught the excitement in his eyes. "What, dad?" Cassidy prompted.

Mike's grin widened. "We're about to hit Marvel Super Hero Island, kids!" he declared. "And as cool and unique as things like Magic Kingdom are, there's nothing quite like a good old, traditional, high-intensity amusement park to really kick the adrenaline up…"

Marvel Super Hero Island

"The Dr. Doom Fearfall was a lot more fun than I expected," Gabe commented as they left the ride behind them. "I wasn't expecting a lot from a ride where you basically just go up and down, but I'm glad that proved me wrong!"

"Still more than enough to give me a rush, that's for sure!" Alex agreed. Unlike most of the other segments of the Islands of Adventure, the kids had agreed that this time they would save the best ride for last. And now that they had finished with the Dr. Doom Fearfall, there was only the biggest and baddest ride in that section of the park left to conquer: The Incredible Hulk Coaster.

"I know we haven't been around that many amusement parks yet," Cassidy breathed as they made their way over to the gigantic green roller coaster. "But that is the biggest roller coaster I have ever seen!"

"That's a cool-looking Hulk statue," Alex commented at a statue of the Hulk flexing his arms in the air and roaring in front of the roller coaster entrance. "What do you guys think about the Hulk anyway?"

"I like him, but he's not my favorite," Jeremy replied. "Strictly going off MCU here, but I honestly don't know if I like Captain America or Iron Man the most."

"Yeah, the MCU did a really good job with those two," Meghan commented. "Have you gotten to Endgame yet?"

"No, but we've seen Infinity War," Susie answered, shaking her head. "I still can't believe that many people got snapped."

"Good guys don't win all the time, that's a sad reality," Liz muttered.

"Yeah, that was a harsh ending. Maybe it'll all turn out better in Endgame, but for now Thanos got what he wanted," Fritz agreed as they made their way into the ride. Thanks to Mike's Express passes, it didn't take very long for them to reach the end of the line, a station that had been fashioned like a futuristic laboratory with green lights glowing from what appeared to be reactors from the ceiling.

"Talk about nuclear power!" Charlie remarked appreciatively as the carts cycled through and the group got closer to the front. The Marshalls had both wanted front row seats this time around, and none of the adults had any complaints whatsoever about the extra time, especially now that they were close to finishing their cycle through the Islands of Adventure.

"There was something special about this ride, I think…" Mike mused aloud, trying to remember what it was as the group climbed into the next cart. "But I honestly can't remember what it is."

"We'll find out soon, dad!" Fritz declared as the cart advanced forward. The kids gasped as they started to climb up the ramp, for unlike the few roller coasters they had ridden on in the past, the slow climb that marked the start of any roller coaster was surrounded by a metal tunnel with rows of neon lights snaking up the sides, electricity pulsating through them to complete the futuristic look.

"So pretty!" Susie gushed. But before anybody could say anything, the gentle climb suddenly transformed into a forceful push, the cart accelerating and racing through the last segment of the tunnel far faster than any of them had expected.

"Wait WHAT THE FUCK?" Cassidy shrieked.

"Why are we going so fast this quickly?" Gabe questioned frantically. "What's going on?"

"Oh fuck, now I remember!" Mike barely managed to broadcast the thought as the ride exited the tunnel. "It launches us through the last part of the rise!"

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Living and dead children alike screamed as the ride instantly began to plummet downward, not even giving them a second's break as it twisted them upside down before throwing them into the plunge. The roller coaster righted itself by the time it reached the bottom of the first descent, blazing swiftly over a lake before flying back up into a chaotic series of twists and loop-dee-loops that left the children's minds reeling. The children didn't even have time to try and look out into the vast expanse of the park, any thoughts of trying to identify landmarks from the various Islands that they had previously visited wiped completely from their minds as they struggled to simply comprehend the chaos that the roller coaster had forced their them into.

"THIS IS CRAZY!" Jeremy screamed as the ride coursed through a tunnel and into a brief moment of darkness. "How does something like this even exist?"

"I don't know!" Liz shouted back. "I've never seen anything like this before!"

"Are all the newest roller coasters like this?" Fritz asked in disbelief.

"Hell yeah!" Alex answered with a huge grin on his face as they shot back out into the light. "And some of them are even cooler!" None of them had any time to say or think anything else, as the roller coaster right back into the intense action, snaking around in a circle before throwing the ride into another loop dee loop. Out of the corner of her eye, Charlie saw what she thought was Dr. Doom's Freefall in the distance, but before she could comment on it or even think about it clearly, the towers were already long gone, and before they knew it the ride had temporarily slowed on a conveyor track that had appeared unexpectedly in the middle of the thrills.

"Whooooo!" Susie breathed out. "Was that the end?"

"Nope!" Mike blithely replied as the cart pushed through the conveyor belt and plunged down once again. Though there were no more loop-de-loops, the coaster snaked around with more twists and turns, even flipping them around once and passing by an antenna-like camera device before finally slowing to a true stop at the end. Triumphant superhero music blared in the background as the cart returned to the waiting station, advancing slowly back into the darkness and through a large tunnel with green lights flashing all around it. As the Marshalls and Schmidts left the ride behind them and made their way to the exit, taking some time to laugh at the Marshalls' and Mike's bizarre expressions on their faces during the insanity of the roller coaster.

"Oh. My. God!" Gabe exclaimed as they left the grounds of the roller coaster. "That was, by far, the CRAZIEST roller coaster I've ever ridden in my entire existence! I didn't even think making something that batshit insane was possible! And I thought we did crazy stuff back at Disney World and Lotte World!"

"Are all roller coasters nowadays like this?" Jeremy asked Alex and Meghan eagerly. "Do they have all these crazy twists, and spins, and loop de loops?"

"Oh, yeah," Meghan confirmed with a wink. "All the roller coasters that are crazy with the loop-de-loops and everything are widely considered to be the best ones in each amusement park. Some of them are even crazier than the one we just rode!"

"Hell, I don't care if they're all like this," Alex threw in his own two cents. "As long as I have a ton of fun and it's a wild ride, I can do this all day every day!"

"Me too!" Liz agreed excitedly. "Whenever I anchor myself to one of those roller coasters and it zooms off, I feel so alive!"

"That's roller coasters for you," Mike commented with a grin. "They give you an adrenaline rush like nothing else. Especially if they're like the one we just rode on." He looked back at the winding green track of the roller coaster appreciatively. "Hulk might not be my favorite Marvel Avenger, but damn does he have a good roller coaster."

"Is there anything else to do here?" Charlie asked. "If I'm remembering the map right, that was the last ride. And this was the last segment of the park."

"Wait…" Susie began, crestfallen. "Does that mean…this is over? We're done with the amusement park?"

"It's not even dark out yet!" Fritz complained. "I don't want to go so soon! We don't even know what Islands of Adventure looks like at night! Maybe it looks even cooler in the nighttime!"

"Don't make us leave, please!" Cassidy begged.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Mike quickly calmed them down. "Where the heck did you get the idea that we were gonna leave as soon as we cycled through the islands?"

Some of the ghosts looked up with renewed excitement, while others breathed sighs of relief. "Wait, so we're NOT leaving?" Gabe clarified.

"Hell no!" Mike snorted. "If we left now, then I wasted a lot of money on those Express passes that I bought. Take a closer look. They weren't just one-time things. Those were Unlimited Express Passes."

Alex's and Meghan's eyes both widened, and even the Marshall parents were surprised. "Wait, doesn't this mean that we can go on all the fast lanes on the rides as much as we want?" Alex exclaimed, his jaw dropping open. "And you got four of these for us?"

"Jesus, Mike!" Stella exclaimed. "You must've spent a small fortune on these."

Mike smirked. "Do I look like a guy who gives a shit about saving money when there's a special moment like this to enjoy?" he asked dryly.

"The fact that I know your secret is the only reason why I'm not insisting I pay this back within a month," Ryan commented.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Schmidt!" Meghan gratefully thanked her father's friend, before turning her attention to the ghost kids. "You guys made this so much more fun than it already was. This might be one of the best winter vacations we've ever had!"

"I'm with you on that one, sis," Alex fervently agreed. "100%."

"We're the ones who should be thanking you!" Charlie insisted, with the other ghosts making various expressions of agreement. "Seeing stuff like this for the first time after so long, enjoying it with friends and family, that's what really makes things like this special!"

"Absolutely," Jeremy affirmed her words. "You guys are the best, no question about it!"

"We should get together and do stuff like this more often!" Susie suggested. "Maybe in a few months?"

"Hmm, it's kind of hard to coordinate travel like this, even if Mike decides to go all-out and pay for everything," Stella admitted. "Time is an issue just as much as money."

"That's a problem for future you though," Mike interrupted. "Right now, we're in the middle of a badass amusement park, and you guys should enjoy yourselves as much as you possibly can. We can stay as long as you want, and then after night falls, we should hang out and have dinner at the Universal Studios Boardwalk. I've heard there's some really crazy shit there!"

"That sounds like a great idea!" Liz agreed. "Right now, we should go back to Hogwarts! I kind of want to see all the Harry Potter stuff again, especially the rooms inside Hogwarts!"

"That sounds like a great idea!" Meghan grinned. "I'm down."

"Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Fritz urged. The two Marshall children and the seven ghosts rushed ahead, eager to revisit the features of the Islands of Adventure and all the wonders they held, while Stella rushed ahead to make sure that they didn't leave the sight of the adults. As they watched her and the children, Mike and Ryan turned to look at each other, warmth and amusement at their sons' and daughters' antics on their faces.

"Those are some good kids you've got there, Mike," Ryan said quietly. "I don't remember ever seeing you this happy before, even in our college years."

"They've only been part of my life for two years," Mike replied back, his voice just as quiet and just as intense. "And I have no idea how I've lived my life without them."

A/N: These amusement park chapters always turn out insanely long, don't they? 19 pages on Word and over 9000 words. I hope it was well worth waiting for 2 weeks, since my shelf exam got in the way.

Apart from all the other reasons I listed for picking Islands of Adventure over the other three Disney World parks, I honestly don't remember all that much about them besides Magic Kingdom. Islands of Adventure, on the other hand, I DO remember quite well, and thus it was much quicker and easier to write a chapter that would be of acceptable quality to me.

If you were hoping for a UCN chapter next, don't worry! I promise you that UCN will be happening very, VERY soon. As in, there may be at most one filler chapter between this one and the first UCN. I still have some plans and ideas I need to finalize, but I can assure you that the Nightmares won't be showing any mercy to William Afton in this new version of UCN I have planned.

I had a great time reliving the many sights of Islands of Adventure, and I hope those of you who HAVE gone there before enjoyed my descriptions just as much as I did. Alternatively, if you haven't been there before, perhaps I might have spiked your interest a bit? There's a lot of cool shit there to see, that's for sure.
