A/N: Hey guys, I have a very important announcement to make. I have not one, but TWO, med school board exams coming up in mid-late June. As you can imagine, this will have some consequences with regards to writing chapters for this fanfic.

All major plot arcs that I had in mind will be put ON HOLD for the next two months. I fully intend on giving the major story arcs in this fic the full attention they deserve, and trying to write them now with very important real life stuff getting in the way will only make them shittier quality. I've explained my perspective to you guys before, and I stand by it.

Secondly, I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to maintain my schedule for the next two months. At best, I'll be able to write chapters every 2 weeks like I've always done. At worst, there may be longer delays and I may not be able to write a chapter at all for the first half of June.

Finally, and this is more specific to this chapter, I was dealing with a lot of stuff lately for the past 2 weeks and didn't have much time to focus on this fic. So, this is going to be a Fun with Video Games chapter based on Minecraft again because this is the only idea I could think of that I could write a good chapter on in a short span of time. Sorry about that, but I promise you this one will be…different…from the last Minecraft chapter.

Shade522: I think I'll use your idea for a future chapter, when I have more time on my hands to seriously think about how the kids would react to Undertale. With regards to William Afton and his kids, I can't completely discount the possibility that he did care for his kids at first (though I will never believe in MikeBot). But if he ever loved his kids in the past, he sure as fuck doesn't give a shit about them now.

Guest: I'm not familiar with VR gaming really, sorry. I'll keep your song choices in mind though.

Guest: The ghost kids in general aren't allowed to see their deceased family members (Charlie and Henry being the main exception). Apart from the fact that this rule is strictly enforced by Heaven in general, there has to be SOME justice and punishment for killing innocent Night Guards, after all.

Guest: Essentially, but Jeremy doesn't exist in this story.

Ethan: I'm not familiar with Squimpus McGrimpus, but it sounds like FNAF3 will need to come out first before I show the kids them.

Chapter 103 – Fun with Video Games Part 5

Liz greeted the rest of her siblings as she joined them in the living room with her laptop, logging onto the Minecraft server that they all shared together. She had spent the last week learning how to interact with the house as Circus Baby, but she had found out to her annoyance that the animatronic's hands were too bulky to interact with a laptop keyboard in comparison to the rest of the Rockstar animatronics. Not that she had intended to play games online as Circus Baby to begin with…she didn't want to repeat Fritz's mistake and literally punch a hole in her computer like Rockstar Foxy had.

"Hey guys," she called out to them. "So what are we doing today?"

"I've actually spent the last few days implementing a new mod into our server," Charlie answered. "Today, we're going to experiment with Lucky Blocks."

"Lucky Blocks?" Susie wondered. "What are those?"

"Basically, they're giant yellow blocks with question marks on them," Charlie explained. "When you break them, something random will come out of them. Usually, they're something good. I figured we could go to some deserted island far away from our houses and then spend some time breaking a couple for fun."

"Sounds like an adventure!" Fritz commented excitedly, before giving Charlie a confused look. "But why are we going to some random island instead of doing it around here?"

Charlie scowled. "Because not everything that comes out of these blocks is good," she grumbled. "And I am NOT gonna have a repeat of what happened at Dad's house."

Everyone gave her a puzzled look. "What happened at Dad's house?"

Two days ago, at Mike's Minecraft House

"So I just break this Lucky Block and that's it?" Mike asked Charlie.

Charlie shrugged. "Based on what I've seen online," she replied.

"All righty!" Mike put a block on the floor of his house and hit it. Immediately, a giant yellow block appeared in its place, nearly touching the ceiling and easily occupying more than half of the volume of the house. Charlie's and Mike's eyes bulged. "What the hell?" Mike gasped. "What even is this?"

"Uhm…I think I see a switch on that huge block?" Charlie hesitantly pointed it out to Mike. "I think you're supposed to hit it?"

"Your guess is as good as mine…" Mike muttered as he flicked the switch. Pieces of the giant block began to disappear, showing the inside of the block, before the entire block disappeared entirely…

…only to be replaced by a fountain of falling TNT crates, all active and seconds from detonating.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me…" Mike growled as the TNT crates landed on the floor and exploded, blowing a giant crater in the middle of his house. "And I just finished decorating the house too. Fan-FUCKING-tastic!" he ranted.

"I didn't think THAT was gonna happen!" Charlie stared in horror at the wreckage unleashed by a simple Lucky Block.

Mike sighed and palmed his face. "Just reset the fucking server please…" he groaned. "I'd rather redo all my decorating than try and fill in this giant-ass crater in the middle of my house…"

Present

"So THAT'S why you reset the server randomly that day…" Jeremy realized.

"Yep," Charlie agreed tersely as she led the children's in-game avatars away from their homes. "So let's NOT blow up someone else's house because of a single bad Lucky Block."

"Fair enough," Gabe agreed as Charlie led them over to a part of the land mass that was a safe distance away from any of their houses. Once she was satisfied with her chosen location, she put down one of the Lucky Blocks in her inventory.

"Who wants to go first?" she asked.

"Me, me, me!" Fritz exclaimed as he hit the block. Charlie tensed as the block shattered, and out popped out…

"A wishing well!" Cassidy gasped. "Ooooooooh!"

"I just put a coin in this, right?" Fritz asked. When Liz nodded in confirmation, Fritz took out a coin and sighed, "Okay, well, here goes nothing! Hope this doesn't fuck me over somehow." He tossed the coin in, and the well spewed out a fountain of potatoes, covering the ground full of food in a makeshift harvest. The former Foxy grinned at the sight. "All right, not a bad start!" he remarked as he and the others started collecting the potatoes.

"My turn!" Susie declared as she put a Lucky Block down and broke it. Immediately, a flock of sheep manifested into existence around them, all of them with a vibrant and different color such as red, yellow, and green. Together, they formed the colors of the rainbow, a beautiful sight that none of the children had ever seen in this game before.

"Awww…" the former Chica inhabitant cooed. "They're so pretty! I want to bring them home with me!"

Jeremy raised an eyebrow. "I don't know if that's even possible," he commented. "Also, couldn't you just raise a bunch of sheep at home and then change the color of their fur?"

"It's just not the same," Susie sighed sadly as Gabe put down another Lucky Block. The former Freddy inhabitant broke it…and immediately a pile of gold, emerald, and diamonds appeared on the ground in its place.

"Aww, sweet, I hit the Jackpot!" Gabe cheered as he collected all of the treasure he had unexpectedly found. "I'm putting all of this stuff in my treasure chest for sure!"

"Oh my God, you are so lucky!" Cassidy looked at him enviously as she put down a Lucky Block of her own and broke it. She looked at the ground expectedly…

…only for a single sponge block to pop out. The former Golden Freddy inhabitant's face fell when she realized what she had received.

"…that's it?" she spluttered. "Gabe gets all that cool treasure and all I get is one sponge block?" Cassidy crossed her arms and pouted. "Thanks for that," she grumbled.

"Hey, at least you didn't get anything bad," Charlie consoled her as Jeremy put a Lucky Block down and hit it. A metal cage immediately materialized around Jeremy, trapping him inside.

"What the hell is this?" Jeremy demanded as the other ghost kids giggled nervously. The former Bonnie inhabitant noticed a sign in front of him. "Look up?" He turned his avatar's head upward. "Wait…why?"

BAM!

An anvil fell from the sky and smashed onto Jeremy's game character, killing him instantly. The giggling from the ghosts erupted into full blown laughter as Jeremy let out a howl of rage. "ARE YOU SHITTING ME?" he raged. "Everyone else gets good shit and I get a fucking anvil on my head?"

"You just got Looney Tuned!" Susie commented, her voice dripping with amusement.

"RIP you I guess," Liz struggled and failed to calm herself.

"Man what an embarrassing way to go," Gabe teased as Jeremy respawned and slowly made his way back to the rest of the group.

Charlie took pity on him. "I introduced another mod that lets our corpses remain after death, that way you can pick up your stuff without worrying about it disappearing after a couple of seconds," she said consolingly.

"Thanks…" Jeremy sighed as he picked up his things. He gave the anvil in the cage a dirty glare as Liz hit her Lucky Block. A single bunny popped out of the block, giving Liz's in-game character a fierce glare.

"Aww, it's a…" Liz looked at the description. "…it's a Killer Bunny!" The bunny leapt at Liz, knocking a few hearts off with each attack. "It's trying to murder me, but it looks so cute! Who's a cute little bunny, who's a cute little bunny? Who's a cute little…" Suddenly, she took out a diamond sword and whacked the bunny, killing it instantly. "Fuck you," Liz growled, the cuteness evaporating from her voice.

"Wow…" Fritz snorted as the other kids tried to comprehend what had just happened. "Talk about whiplash."

"It'll be a cold day in Hell before I get killed by a bunny," Liz retorted as Charlie put her block down. She hit the block with her hand…

…and immediately, the area around them plunged into the darkness of night. "What the…" was all Charlie had time to say before they found themselves surrounded by mobs. Guardians, spiders, zombies, even Creepers, all of them closed in on the hapless children's avatars with no hope of escape.

"Oh my God!" Susie shrieked as they were all bombarded by a vicious onslaught of attacks from every side. Some of them tried to fight back with their weapons, while other simply tried to flee from the crowd of mobs.

"Holy shit!" Jeremy stared at the screen, too stunned to even react.

"No, no, no, no, no!" Cassidy frantically babbled.

But no matter what they tried, their attempts were futile in the face of so many monsters. Within seconds, they had all been blown up by Creepers or blasted down by the Guardians, leaving everyone's screens red with their own death.

"I don't even know what just happened!" Gabe threw his hands up in frustration. "There were so many mobs my screen just flat-out lagged itself!"

"I'm sorry!" Charlie desperately exclaimed. "I'm so, so sorry!"

"Did we just find the absolute worst outcome that you can get out of a lucky block?" Liz speculated as they respawned, returned to the gathering where they had been opening the blocks, and picked up their gear. "Can't really think of anything worse than that, even the TNT shower in Dad's house gave you some time to get out of the way."

"It's a distinct possibility," Gabe remarked as he put down another lucky block and hit it. Everyone tensed as they waited for something to go disastrously wrong, but instead a single Hero Villager walked out from where the block had been sitting a second earlier. The ghost kids stared at the Hero Villager, who walked about oblivious to the blank expressions the ghost kids were giving him.

"O…kay?" Cassidy mumbled. "What?"

"I think you're supposed to talk to him or something," Jeremy suggested. He approached the Hero Villager, talked to him…and his jaw dropped. "No way…" he gasped. "This guy is fucking amazing! He trades your diamonds for seriously powerful stuff!"

"You're right!" Liz talked to the Hero Villager as well. "He…holy shit! Look at that Hero's Pickaxe! Efficiency V, Unbreaking II, Fortune II? I could mine all day every day with this thing!"

"Fuck the Pickaxe!" Fritz retorted. "This Hero's Sword is batshit fucking insane! Sharpness IV, Smite IV, Knockback II, Fire Aspect I, Looting I, Unbreaking I? I've never seen a sword that fucking OP in my entire life!"

"We need to go back and get our diamonds right now," Susie insisted. "There's no way I'm missing out on something this good!"

"First we need to build a wall around the Hero Villager and put him in a boat to keep him safe," Charlie advised. "Unless you want him to get blown up by a Creeper while we're all gone."

"Yeah, no, let's NOT do that," Gabe replied as he and his siblings constructed defenses around the Hero Villager. Once they were relatively confident of his safety, Susie stood guard (since she and Cassidy shared the same home and she was the better fighter) while the rest of the ghost kids collected their diamonds. They spent the next few seconds trading them away for the Hero weapons and powerful potions and marveling at their amazing new items.

"Okay, this might actually be the best Lucky Block we've had," Jeremy commented with delight. "And this includes that treasure pile Gabe found earlier."

"Thank God we put in the corpse mod," Charlie remarked. "That way we won't have to worry about losing this stuff when things inevitably go to shit again."

"Don't worry!" Fritz replied confidently. "After that Hero Villager, I've got a good feeling about this one!" He put the Lucky Block down and smacked it…

BOOM!

An explosion filled everyone's laptop screens, followed by the red death screen a second later. "BULLSHIT!" Fritz raged. "Gabe gets an awesome Hero Villager and I get fucking exploded to death?"

"Hey," Susie protested, "you weren't the only one who got blown up. We all died from that?"

"I've got a good feeling about this one," Jeremy repeated mockingly. "Oh, yeah, I've got a great feeling about this one too!"

Fritz scowled. "Shut up, Jeremy…"

"Remember when you said that the mob ambush was the worst outcome?" Gabe commented. "I think you might be wrong."

"Yeah…" Charlie agreed with a sigh. "Even the golden block that turned into a bunch of live TNT wasn't this bad. At least you had a chance to run away from that. This one just flat-out kills you."

"We're gonna have to respawn and come all the way back here to our corpses, aren't we?" Cassidy asked. The rest of the ghost kids answered with loud groans, and they grudgingly made their way back to their chosen island. The explosion had blown open a giant hole in the ground, with everyone's corpses scattered about in the pit's depths. "This is creepy," Cassidy mumbled. "It looks like a mass cult suicide or something!"

"A mass cult suicide where the cult blew itself up with TNT instead of drinking poison or whatever the fuck," Gabe drawled as they repositioned themselves in the hole.

"All right, we got the bad one out of the way," Fritz declared, his confidence returning. "I've got a really good feeling about the next lucky block that we open."

"Oh God no…" Jeremy muttered as he moved his character away, "I'm backing the fuck up."

Cassidy put down her lucky block and hit it open. A giant zombie appeared in front of them, the upper half of its body easily towering above the pit and reaching the height of the treeline in the forest beyond. "Oh wow!" she exclaimed. "I've never seen a zombie this big before!"

"It doesn't look like it's attacking or anything," Liz studied the giant zombie. "It's just standing there."

Susie shrugged. "I think we should just leave it alone," she suggested, "It's not doing anything. Though maybe we should get out of this pit just in case."

Everyone approved of her suggestion and they climbed out of the pit, leaving the giant zombie to stand contentedly by itself. "It kinda says something that a giant zombie is one of the harmless options," Gabe deadpanned as they cleared away a few flowers to make another lucky block station.

"Mhm…" Jeremy replied noncommittally as he placed another lucky block and whacked it open. A red block appeared in front of him, causing him to briefly panic as he thought for a second that it was TNT. However, other blocks of different colors began to stack on top of the ruby block, creating a column that reached high into the sky, with a fire burning brightly at the very top. "Huh…" the former Bonnie inhabitant tilted his head curiously. "Well at least it's not anything bad, I guess…" He took a few moments to study the column of blocks that had materialized out of the lucky block. Each block was engraved with decorative and elegant symbols, and Jeremy could see a golden block, a green block, a dark blue block, a purple block, and…

"That's a diamond block!" Cassidy exclaimed, pointing out the block at the very top of the column. "That's literally a block made of diamonds!"

"Oh?" Fritz smirked. "Well in that case…" To everyone's amusement and Jeremy's fury, he began to stack dirt blocks on top of each other underneath himself, getting closer to the top of column with each second.

"Fuck you!" Jeremy howled as he helplessly watched Fritz climb towards the top of the pillar.

"Ha ha ha ha ha!" Fritz cackled. "Who's laughing now, bitch?" He began to whack at the diamond block…which promptly fell off the top of the tower, pummeling towards the ground. "Wait no!" the former Foxy inhabitant shouted. "No, no, no! That's not how this was supposed to go down!"

"YES!" Jeremy cheered as he picked up the diamond block that had rightfully belong to him. "Get fucked, idiot! You can't even be an asshole right!"

Fritz sighed. "I had that coming, didn't I?" he grudgingly admitted as he climbed back down to the ground.

Susie put another block on the ground and broke it open. Suddenly, she found herself encased in an obsidian cube that had a glass windows on each of its four walls. This by itself wouldn't have been too much of a problem…except for the fact that the cube was full of water, and she would inevitably drown if she didn't escape. "Ah, crap…" she groaned. "I hope I can get out in time!" She began to hit at the glass window to escape…only for Fritz to put a dirt block in its place.

"What the fuck, Fritz?" she spluttered.

"I still haven't forgotten that time you blew up my house!" Fritz retorted with a smirk. "Block her in, guys, don't let her escape!"

"Assholes…" Susie raged as Jeremy and Liz joined Fritz in filling in the glass blocks every time Susie tried to break one open to escape. "Assholes! Fucking dickheads! You guys aren't helping at all! I'm not even the one who came up with that plan to begin with!" She threw her hands up in the air in exasperation as her character drowned.

"Oh, don't worry…" Liz gave her an evil grin as Susie respawned and travelled back to their destination. "We'll get revenge on the others later."

Gabe and Cassidy looked at each other nervously as Liz put down her next Lucky Block. The orange-haired ghost girl broke open the block…and a deep pit opened up underneath her feet, sending her plummeting into the depths…and the pool of lava deep below. "What the FUCK!" Liz howled as the others collapsed into laughter. "Are you SHITTING ME?"

Charlie took pity on her and tried to pour water down to cool the lava and save her, but it was too little too late. Within seconds, Liz had burned to death in the lava pit. "Oops…" Charlie brought a hand to her mouth in horrified realization. "I think I might have accidentally buried Liz's body in obsidian."

"I fucking hate everything…" Liz muttered. She gave Charlie a glare as the others struggled to contain their laughter. "Give me a diamond pickaxe, I'm not wasting MY pickaxe fixing the mistake you made."

"That's fair enough," Charlie conceded as she let Liz borrow hers. After some moments of mining, Liz was finally able to access her corpse and get all her stuff back. "Glad that's over…" she muttered as she rejoined her siblings.

"Are you sure these aren't Unlucky Blocks?" Jeremy asked Charlie skeptically. "Half of these have been fucking awful!"

"I'm sure," the oldest of the adopted Schmidts replied dryly. "Cause I've seen things called Unlocky Blocks on Youtube, and with those, you can expect a bunch of exploding TNT like a third of the time if not more."

"Good to know," Gabe deadpanned. "I'm so glad we made the call to do this over here. Imagine if we opened up a pit of lava right in our houses."

"I don't want to think about it," Cassidy shuddered as Charlie put down her last lucky block. The former Puppet inhabitant had only made enough blocks that she and each of her siblings could have two, and she was the only one left with a lucky block before they went off to make more.

"Let's hope we actually get something good for a change," she murmured as she nervously broke the block open. To her relief, there was no streak of misfortune like a pile of exploding TNT, a lava pit, or a cage with a falling anvil. Instead, a single piece of blue-tinted armor and a single helmet popped in front of here. Charlie quickly picked up the two pieces of gear, and her eyes widened as she read the description. "Holy crap, listen to this!" she exclaimed. "Hero's Helmet with Projectile Protection II, Respiration III, Aqua Affinity, Unbreaking, Protection III, Blast Protection IV, Projectile Projection III, Thorns I, and Unbreaking! This is the best helmet I've ever seen playing this game! I'm putting it on right now!"

Susie raised an eyebrow. "Did you just say it had Projectile Protection and Unbreaking twice?" she asked in confusion.

Gabe shrugged. "When you get something that good for basically free, who cares?"

"Aww, you guys are so lucky!" Liz pouted as Charlie put on her new Hero's Helmet. "I got a Killer Rabbit and dropped in a pit of lava from my Lucky Blocks!"

"We can make a lot more of these," Charlie promised. "You'll have to get something really good eventually. Or maybe we'll get more Hero Villagers to get other cool stuff!"

"Wait!" Fritz suddenly noticed. "We have one more! I have an extra!" he took out a Lucky Block and whacked it open…"

…and a fountain of live TNT blocks popped out, seconds away from exploding.

"Goddamn it, Fritz, WHY?" Cassidy howled as they scrambled to escape the impending explosion. Fortunately, all of them were able to escape the blast in time, though a few of the slower ones took damage from the massive detonation. When they looked back, they could see that a giant crater had replaced the field where they had been standing in only seconds before, exactly like how Charlie had described with the catastrophe that had happened in Mike's house.

"Fritz," Gabe stared at the crater on his screen and then at him disapprovingly. "You SUCK with these."

"Hey!" Fritz protested as the other started laughing again. "Mine weren't ALL bad."

"All right, all right…" Charlie brought everyone's attention back to her. "Now we need to go back and make more Lucky Blocks. There's ways we can make them more likely to give good stuff and less likely to give bad stuff, so…"

Her sentence was suddenly interrupted by a notification that appeared on her and everyone else's screen. "Hero Villager was slain by Zombie." Immediately, the collection of ghost kids descended into panic as they realized what had just happened.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" Cassidy yelled in horror. "The Hero Villager!"

"God damn it!" Jeremy shouted, still shocked by the unexpected murder of the vendor. "God fucking DAMMIT!"

"Where's that fucking Zombie?" Fritz raged. "I'm going to fuck him up!"

"Wait, maybe he just got turned into a zombie instead of actually dying!" Gabe suggested frantically. "Maybe we can save him!"

"We'll worry about it later, let's just kick that sorry zombie's ass first!" Liz cut him off. The ghost kids raced off to avenge the fallen Hero Villager, leaving Charlie behind at the pit where they had been opening the lucky blocks before Fritz's TNT "gift" had blown it open into a crater.

"There's always something crazy going on with this game," Charlie mumbled, unable to stop an exasperated smile from appearing on her face as she went off to join her siblings. She had a Hero Villager to avenge, after all.

A/N: A lot of this was practically ripped off of Daithi de Nogla's Lucky Block video. I encourage you to watch it after finishing this chapter, as he's a hell of a lot funnier than I'll ever be XD.

Again, sorry if this chapter wasn't what you were hoping for, but I was pretty busy in the last two weeks and didn't have time to come up with a better idea for the chapter. Unfortunately, with a shelf exam in two weeks AND two board exams in about a week and a half, I'm not gonna be introducing any major plot content (FNAF-related or otherwise) anytime soon.

To make it up for this, I'm pleased to announce that I have recently opened a new DeviantArt account! And I've added a few drawings to it, more specifically the Shadow beings that composed of Mike's armies when they fought against William's demons in Part 3 of the battle between Mike and William.

lordtenebros

So far I've uploaded drawings of the Shadow Warrior, Shadow Pikemen, and Shadow Archers. I hope you guys enjoy them, just like I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
