A/N: Hey guys. I'm sorry about this, but I have a very busy June this month, both with regards to TWO board exams and some other stuff I have to do on top of that, so I won't have the time to write any full chapters until July, or the last week of June at the very earliest. With that being said, I don't want to leave you guys completely hanging for a full month, so I'm going to answer some of the reviews from the last UCN chapter and do a few little things afterwards. Once I finish writing the next chapter, I'll incorporate the material from this interlude into the story properly and delete this notice.

Guest: Nightmare Mangle currently doesn't exist…at least, not yet. I'm still not sure how I'd bring them into the fic at this point, unless Nightmare decides to make a new, fully powered Nightmare like the others for whatever reason.

Slweaver119: Thanks! I'm not sure when Mike will spill the beans on his talk with OMC to the kids. Right now, he has nothing to go on for the re-emergence of the Fazbear franchise outside of OMC's warning, so he's keeping silent about it until it actually becomes a more concrete problem that he can actually deal with.

LM: FNAF 3 may be the next "Fun with Video Games" chapter, I don't know right now.

DeaththeWolf: I'm about to answer that question in this interlude.

DauntingInferno: I'm blown away at just how appreciative you are of this fic, thank you very much!

Jack Moseley: I'm deliberately holding off on 50/20 right now for…reasons.

Cryptid1998: Thanks for the praise! I don't think Mike would put "just" Phone Guy, he hates William too much to leave only a non-lethal "animatronic" in. Also, Nightmare would reject the idea because this is meant to be entertainment for demons and from an audience perspective it would be boring as fuck.

Jack0Lanterns: Nightmare probably filled the paperwork out magically…which says a lot about how much paperwork he actually had to deal with, considering that it took him 3 hours to fill it out magically.

Fiamma379: Thanks for the suggestion! I'll listen to the song when I have time so I can properly analyze it, right now I have other things I need to deal with.

TheAlmightyPlushtrap: In my opinion, the first and most important thing for a storywriter is that you enjoy your topic and that you love what you're writing. I'd be lying if I said that the topic and summary of a story didn't affect its popularity, but you'll lose motivation regardless if you only write stories based on how popular you think something will be. Everyone has to start somewhere, after all.

Greeden: Probably not the OMC one, as I've already incorporated OMC through conversations with the Bite Victim and Mike. Fredbear, maybe, although the nature of the Easter Egg may be different from what's in the actual game.

AlchemyWriter: Hope you're staying healthy too!

Now that the reviews are out of the way, I'd like to write down what I think the character alignments for the major characters in my fic are.

The Main Family Alignments

Mike: Neutral Good normally. A very dark Chaotic Neutral as Dark!Mike, with Chaotic Evil tendencies as Demon!Mike.

Charlie: Lawful Good. Being the "older sister" and protector and leader of the ghost kids before Mike joined the picture, this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

Liz: Lawful Good (formerly Chaotic Evil). She has more guilt over her past actions than the other kids and believes she has more to atone for. Combine this with the fact that she still has her tendencies to worship her father figure, only now that adoration is given to Mike instead of William, and she is probably THE most Lawful ghost kid in the entire family outside of maybe Charlie.

Gabe: Lawful or Neutral Good. He kinda fills in the role of leader and big brother of the ghost kids next to Charlie, but not nearly to the same extent.

Jeremy: Neutral Good.

Susie: Neutral Good.

Fritz: Chaotic Good (fucking DUH)

Cassidy: Neutral or Chaotic Good. She still has some Chaotic and more playful tendencies than the other ghost kids, but not nearly to the same extent as Fritz.

Other Living Characters' Alignments

The Marshalls: Neutral Good.

Melody: Neutral Good.

FNAF Supernatural Character Alignments

Henry: Lawful Good.

Michael Afton: Neutral Good.

NOTE: One thing I'd like to note is that if I were to rewrite the fic, I'd retool Michael Afton's motivations so that he was focused MAINLY on stopping his father. I think in the canon timeline he didn't go on a crusade the children's ghosts or that he necessarily even knew that they existed; rather, most of his motivations focused on stopping his evil father, which is a more realistic motivation that can still paint him as a good character (since we know next to nothing about him in canon). He'd still want to make things up for his brother, who may indirectly help him, but I'm not sure if they'd necessarily interact beyond their reunion at the end of the FNAF4 torture until everything ended in FNAF 6.

Shadow Bonnie: Lawful Neutral.

Bite Victim/Shadow Freddy: Lawful or Neutral Good.

William Afton: CHAOTIC. FUCKING. EVIL.

Old Man Consequences: Lawful Good, but his duties require him to be Lawful Neutral.

Nightmare: Lawful Evil, with both Chaotic Evil and Lawful Neutral leanings.

The other Nightmares: Chaotic Evil with Lawful Evil leanings (mainly with regards to their loyalty to Nightmare and each other).

Now to answer DeathTheWolf's question about how vengeful they are. I would say that while they all hate William Afton on a relatively equal level, the more Chaotic a ghost kid's alignment, the more open they are about their hatred and the more vengeful they are. Conversely, more Lawful characters are less vengeful, though obviously they still despise William for his depravity. The one caveat to this is Liz, who despite her Lawful alignment is pretty high on the scale of desiring vengeance, since William fucked up not only her morality, but also her old and new families.

That's it for the character alignments. Now then…when I wrote the battle between Mike and William Afton, I drew inspiration from a LOT of different sources. One of those sources was Fire Emblem, and this was most prominent during the battle between armies when Mike decided to stop toying around with the demons that had invaded his mind and decided to take charge. In the actual fic itself, he used spells inspired by Gespenst and Forblaze, two of the most powerful Fire Emblem spells. But let's see how else he could have brought his enemies down…using some attacks inspired by the "Dark Star" from "Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story."

This first excerpt is when Mike is about to execute the Infernal Battle Beast.

/

"And now for your pathetic creature…" Mike snarled the first words he had spoken since he had given the order to kill. With the infernal steed that he had exploded only seconds away from keeling over and dying from its wounds, Mike chose instead to focused his gaze on another one of the infernal steeds, one that had escaped the worst of the blast and had only suffered minor wounds in comparison. Mike snapped his fingers and black chains wreathed in hellish flame erupted out of the ground, wrapping themselves around the infernal steed. The demonic beast let out a howl of fury and writhed against its bindings, but they were far too powerful for him to escape.

As the creature fruitlessly struggled, Mike lifted his scythe into the air and a Nightmare head appeared above him, this one even larger than the ones that he had unleashed against William earlier. The Nightmare head let out a cruel, sadistic laugh as several of the demons summoned by William trembled with fear at the sight of the demon lord's visage. The Nightmare head opened its mouth, but instead of immediately attacking the infernal beast, an orb of pure unholy energy manifested within its jaws. The orb began to grow larger and larger as it amassed more power, and as if they were answering a silent call, the four demonic statues that hung around the arena released their own flames, streaks of hellfire flowing from their jaws and into the Nightmare head's aura sphere as if they were feeding it.

Sensing its danger, the infernal beast thrashed against its chains, trying even harder to escape its bindings. And it might have possibly succeeded, had one of the Shadow Olog-hai not noticed its attempt. With a roar, the Attack Troll charged towards its victim, raising its metal gauntlet-covered fist and smashing it into the unholy steed's face. The attack was easily powerful enough to stun the monster and stop its movements, giving the troll plenty of time to lift its spiked club and smash it onto the beast's back. The creature howled in agony as it collapsed onto the ground, its strength drained and completely helpless as the Olog-hai stepped away from its crippled foe…right in time for the Nightmare head to finish charging its blast. With a triumphant roar, the Nightmare head unleashed a calamitous pulse of horrific unholy power onto the infernal beast, nightmarish rings made of pure shadow and flame blasting the creature again and again. The beast screamed as it was viciously bombarded over and over again with pure destruction, the energy blast incinerating the creature even as it tore its flesh and body apart. After 15 seconds of ceaseless brutality and torment, the Nightmare head finally expended its energy, letting out a laugh of satisfaction as it watched the battle beast's body decay and collapse into bloody pieces, the various chunks and segments of its corpse dissolving the moment they hit the ground.

/

All right, that was the first little segment. Now for the second one…this one at the moment where Mike decides to kill off William's demon army once and for all.

/

And then Mike unleashed Hell upon the battlefield.

Another Nightmare head manifested high in the sky, this one so gigantic that it put even the Nightmare head that had destroyed the infernal steed to shame. The Nightmare head let out a guttural, mocking laugh as it viewed the demons before it with malicious and amusement, while those very same demons could only stare up in horror at the sight of Nightmare looking down upon them, judging them and finding them worthless under his burning scarlet gaze. Even as they cowered in terror, many of them wondered how a mere mortal, a Good-aligned mortal, had managed to form an alliance with one of Hell's greatest demon lords. An alliance apparently so secure that Nightmare had seen fit to teach Mike the powerful and destructive spells that he could wield freely in the world of his minds…or at the very least give him permission to invoke his image without consequence.

The Nightmare head opened its mouth and began to spin in the air, unleashing a vortex with the power and wrath of a hurricane that covered the entire arena. It was as though a black hole had ripped open in the sky, a cruel maw that sought to suck in and consume everything in sight except for the one who had summoned it. Nightmare Springtrap had just enough time to register what was happening and fling himself at one of the pillars that encircle the edge of the arena, wrapping his arms around it as he dug his claws deep into the black stone. Even with his demonically-empowered strength, he only barely managed to avoid being dragged away into the fang-filled mouth high above.

The other demons weren't so fortunate. From the weakest grunt to the mightiest battle beast, all of the demons that had been summoned by William were lifted into the air by the raging dark winds and sucked into the fiendish vortex up above. Screams of terror filled the air as the demons were all devoured by the Nightmare head, the black hurricane of death sparing no one from the horrible fate that was sure to follow. Even after every demon had been consumed, the mighty vacuum continued to rage on, consuming not just the fire from the demonic statues surrounding the arena but also the flames from the chasm surrounding the arena itself. After several agonizing seconds that seemed to drag on forever for William, the Nightmare head stopped spinning and closed its mouth to finally put its hurricane to rest. But instead of vanishing, the entire head began to glow with blood-red energy, the hate-filled glow in its eyes flashing with even more intensity as the demon head curled its mouth into a fang-filled grin, letting out one last hideous laugh.

And then, the Nightmare head exploded with enough power that the blast could have been comparable to a nuclear blast if it had existed in the real world…(blah blah blah, you know the rest)

What do you guys think? I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you watch the Dark Star's attacks that I based these two blurbs off of, as it really shows the image that I'm trying to portray in a way that mere writing can't. If you guys do like these little snippets more than the original, I'll retroactively add them to the Battle between Mike and William Part 3 chapter. If not, just consider them non-canon and a fun little thing so that you guys aren't completely lacking in MNGF content for this month.

Also, I think I've found theme music for each stage of the Mike vs William battle.

Part 1: Whatever version of Megalovania you want. But it's based on the Sans battle, so it'd be kinda weird NOT to use Megalovania for this part.

Part 2 and 3: "Destroy the Dark Power!" The new theme music for the battle against the Dark Star in the 3DS remake of Bowser's Inside Story.

Part 4: "Fawful and Cackletta" The new theme music for the battle against Dark Fawful in the 3DS remake of Bowser's Inside Story.

When I do write the next PROPER chapter, I'll delete this one and incorporate some of the info (namely the review responses and the alignment lists) into the pre- or post-chapter author's note.

Oh, and one last thing. I've added more Shadow Army drawings. This time, we have:

Shadow Berserker

lordtenebros/art/Shadow-Berserker-845307260

Shadow Sorcerer

lordtenebros/art/Shadow-Sorcerer-845307385

Shadow Attack Troll (Gundabad version)

lordtenebros/art/Shadow-Attack-Troll-845307596

I DO have a version of Dark!Mike in mind, but it won't be released until a little later. And no, I won't be drawing regular Mike, the ghost kids, or any of the Shadow animals, for the simple reason that I can't draw regular humans or animals worth a shit XD

Sorry that this isn't a real chapter. I hope you guys enjoyed regardless!
