Onto the reviews! To ZonZus: 1) You know, I have to admit that Haruka and Takemi curing cancer was...off-the-cuff, however I do see them curing it eventually. Problem is developing in time before Kurokage bites it. 2) We already have (now) three stories which take place after this. One of them is just where we are gonna dump any unused story bits we've written over the years - including the bad ending. 3) No second transformation for Joker. He's fine. 4) I actually do have an idea for Third awakenings whenever we get to Royal. It'll go like how the other ones go. Wolverine would turn to Laura, Fuma into Kotaro, Nobunaga to Oda, Kaeru to…
Shit. Goddammit, this is what I...get...oh.
I have an idea.
Alright! That's it, time to return to horny monkeys!
Chapter 86: Return of Daily Antics
(7/30, Early Morning)
(Yongen-Jaya, Leblanc Attic)
Akira's eyes struggled open as he groaned a bit. "Ugh...what a night..." He muttered.
"Finally up." Morgana bluntly got out as he looked at the Leader.
"Zzzz..." A light snoring was heard.
That however caught the Leader's attention. "Hm?" Akira hummed out in confusion.
"Take a guess." Morgana suddenly and vaguely responded with a sigh.
Akira felt like he didn't even need to, but turned his head anyway and lifted the sheets to see his uninvited guest. "Ah." He got out.
"Zzzzz..." Haruka got out in her sleep while cuddling one of the boy's arms.
"When I said you could use my bed, I didn't mean while I was in it, Haruka-chan." Akira muttered with a sweatdrop.
"Guess she was more tired then she realized." Morgana meanwhile got out. "She must've not had the energy to even make it back to her own apartment." He then deducted.
"She must've been up pretty late then." Akira replied while now noticing the bags under the girl's eyes. "Hey, I need to get up. I kinda need my right arm today." He calmly whispered.
"Mmm..." Haruka moaned out as she tightened her hold as her eyes struggled to open. "Darling~?" She mumbled.
"Morning." Akira simply greeted as gave a kind smile. "Slept well?" He soon asked in a joking manner.
The blonde in response nodded as her head tilted back and forth. "Hai, I did, darling~" Haruka responded in a love filled yet dazed and sleepy tone.
"This is gonna be really awkward if I ever get a real girlfriend." Akira mentally got out as he sighed. She was probably going to be the first person he would tell. "I guess you were exhausted from working too much?" He soon guessed.
"It was a nightmare." Haruka confessed as she hugged the boy, resting her head against his chest. "My gender changing potion was mostly an accident, so actually going for something is a lot more tricky. Plus, needing to tailor it for all types of DNA is going to take a while." She quietly got out for only the boy to hear.
Akira in response began rubbing the tired girl's head. "There, there. I'm sure whatever lawbreaking drug you make will work eventually." He soon comforted with a smile.
"Physical, or legal?" Haruka had to ask as she raised her head.
"...Probably both." Akira answered with a shrug.
"Should I ask what she's working on?" Morgana meanwhile asked.
"Eh, nothing too special." Akira whispered back.
"You really like talking to your cat, huh." Haruka remarked as she petted the little guy. "Then again, Morgana is an adorable kitty." She then confessed, unaware of the not cat blushing from the compliment.
"Life...wouldn't be the same without him." Akira hesitantly confessed.
"Because of what happened to you darling?" Haruka guessed in concern.
"Yeah." Akira replied in a grateful tone before noticing the time. "Sorry, but...I kind of have somewhere to be now." He soon informed.
"Oh yeah, Makoto texted you last night." Morgana remembered.
"Really? What are you doing?"
"A date." Akira casually answered.
SHATTER!
"...What?" Haruka responded, sounding heartbroken.
"Smooth one." Morgana bluntly remarked with a deadpan expression on his face.
"Well...it's not actually a date. A friend of mine asked me to go to a movie with her." Akira meanwhile corrected as he easily heard the saddened tone from the blonde.
"So... you're just hanging out?" Haruka soon asked.
"Yep. Like a Dragon." Akira answered. "It's a Takeshi Miike flick. Really wanted to see it with someone." He then added, sounding a little excited.
"I see." Haruka replied in relief as she took in this information. "Well, have fun. I need to go to work." She then decided as she tried to move.
However the Phantom Thieves Leader placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her. "You should stay here and rest a little though, ok?" Akira however suggested and requested in concern as he gently began holding her hand. "You still look like you're about to collapse." He then stated.
"But I-" Haruka started, however the boy placed a finger to her lips, stopping her.
"No buts Haruka-chan, you need to rest." Akira soon instructed in a concerned manner. "Please." He then requested while looking directly into her eyes before getting closer before...
CHU!
And gave the girl a light peck on the cheek.
Immediately, the blonde blushed some more, though also felt giddy to what just happened. "...Well, if you say so, darling~" Haruka breathed out, like she was on cloud nine before a yawn escaped her lips, laying back down on the bed and softly closed her eyes.
Akira meanwhile sighed in relief upon hearing that. He was surprised and felt awkward after he did that, but if it was to help a friend, he would do it again.
Besides, the blonde was growing on him.
"I'll...make sure Chief doesn't check up here while she's asleep. Have fun hanging out with Makoto." Morgana assured.
Akira simply nodded to that. "Have a good rest Haruka-chan." He replied before heading downstairs. "Heading out Boss." He then informed.
"Just don't come back until evening!" Sojiro soon instructed.
"Hai hai." Akira simply replied.
RING!
"Sounds like he left." Morgana noted with a sigh as he looked at the blonde. "I know I told him to be careful around Haruka, there are some times where he acts...different around her." He admitted, not sure if he approved of it.
"Mmmm..." Haruka hummed out in her sleep while making herself comfortable.
"Well, at least she won't try anything." Morgana breathed out in relief, however...
YOINK!
"Rrow!?" Morgana yelped out as he was suddenly pulled in and hugged by the blonde.
"Mmm~ So soft Morgana...~" Haruka mumbled in a sleepy tone, hugging the not cat in between her bust.
SMOOSH!
"I am loyal to Lady Asuka, Lady Homura, Lady Ann and Lady Yumi! I am loyal to Lady Asuka, Lady Homura, Lady Ann and Lady Yumi!" Morgana mentally exclaimed with a hot red blush on his face. "But my god she's soft!" He then had to admit.
"Oh, I wish you could talk..." Haruka sleepily muttered as she also began petting him in a tender manner.
"Meow~" Morgana purred out, unable to resist as he unintentionally relaxed himself. "So...good~" He muttered while closing his eyes, falling asleep and purring as a result.
Meanwhile, Sojiro came upstairs to check if the room was clean, only to see a random half-naked girl in the kid's bed asleep, hugging and petting his sleeping cat.
"...I hope he bought condoms..." Sojiro sighed before going back downstairs.
(Takemi Medical Clinic)
Meanwhile, at the clinic, Takemi nearly slammed her head on her reception desk.
Most of her night/early hours of the day was spent researching what was already established in cancer research and what was effective. They were nowhere near anything close to starting to make the drug.
"She's late..." Takemi sighed. "But then again, I can't blame her..." She then got out in an exhausted manner before looking at the research notes she left behind. "She went overboard, so I'll allow her to rest." She soon decided.
RING RING!
"Hello? Is anyone here today?" Asuka got out as she hesitantly stepped inside the clonic. "Wow, I've seen this place so many times, but I've never really visited..." She muttered as she looked around.
"Hello." Takemi greeted as she attempted to look a little more awake. "Ah, the girl from Leblanc. Welcome, how may I help you?" She soon asked.
The Vice Leader had an eyebrow raised as she approached the reception desk. "Erm...do you have an appointment for Yin?" Asuka responded, looking a little nervous.
"...Ah." Tae got out, giving her a subtle look. "Head into the consultation room, please." She then requested.
"Hai." Asuka responded with a nod before heading in and sitting on the bed.
A few minutes later, the doctor went into the consultation room as well and sat down.
"Yin of the Phantom Thieves, huh?" Takemi remarked with a small smile.
"It's based on my mask." Asuka sheepishly explained as she rubbed the back of her neck. "So...how is this going to go?" She soon asked in a curious manner.
"Well, first of all, I need you to take off your clothes. We need an accurate measurement of your weight." Takemi stated as she grabbed her pen.
"Hai, sensei." Asuka replied as she began to take off her clothes...starting with her pants and panties.
"Not your underwear." Takemi however instructed as she gripped her clipboard a little harder than normal when she saw the teenage girl's sizable chest. "What do you eat on a regular basis?" She soon questioned.
"Uh, sushi...beef...a bunch of vegetables and fruits...crepes..." Asuka answered, although she looked a little guilty at that last food.
"At what quantities?" Takemi pressed.
"Um...usually at the size of a regular plate." Asuka got out. Of course, they sort of piled their plates a little high but that should be fine.
"Okay. Please stand on the scale." Takemi soon ordered as she wrote down the girl's answers. Once the Vice Leader stepped onto the scale, she then adjusted it to get her weight. "You are...56.69 kg..." She muttered as she wrote that down as well. "A little over the average...possibly because of those..." She then stated, continuously staring at the udders.
"U-Um...sensei..." Asuka awkwardly called out in concern.
"Sorry. Are you taking any medication right now? Any chronic diseases or abnormalities?" Takemi apologized and eventually asked.
Asuka in response shook her head. "So...who have you seen so far?" She had to ask.
"Well, so far I've met Skull, Panther and Fox." Takemi answered as she looked at her clipboard. "And they all made me want to die in some unique fashion." She mentally added with an eye twitch. She was actually a little happy that the other Thieves didn't come all at once.
"Are they all good?" Asuka pressed in a concerned manner.
"Well, only Skull has a decent diet. Panther is only just starting to eat better, and Fox is malnourished." Takemi informed while a little voice in her head reminding her of patient-doctor confidentiality, which she ignored. "Although, their strength and reaction time is a lot better than I was expecting. I presume because of your activities." She then informed.
"We're always getting better every day!" Asuka soon reassured.
"I can see that." Takemi replied with a nod before getting a tongue depressor. "Open wide." She then instructed.
"Ahhhh...!" Asuka got out as she opened her mouth. After making sure her mouth didn't have any abnormalities, she stuck a thermometer in it and gave it a second to work.
"37 on the dot." Takemi muttered as she wrote it down. "Now, I'm gonna get a little personal here. Have you engaged in sexual intercourse?" She soon stated and questioned.
Asuka instantly coughed at that. "N-No! I-I..." She sputtered as her face became as red as roses.
"You can be honest here, I won't say anything." Takemi assured in a kind manner.
"I NEVER HAD SOMETHING...T-TOUCH IT!" Asuka shouted out. "W-Well, wait, maybe Homu-neechan...No! I never...The furthest I've gone is a k-" She began before she shut her mouth before she embarrassed herself further.
"Okay, okay. I believe you." Takemi chuckled. "Smoke?" She then began to ask.
"No." Asuka replied.
"Alcohol or any other drug?" Takemi continued questioning.
"No." Asuka replied once more. "Wait, um...caffeine. Coffee when I work at Leblanc." She then informed.
"Alright..." Takemi got out, writing it down before heading to one of her drawers and pulling out some vials and a syringe. "I need to take a sample of your blood just in case you contracted a bloodborne disease." She soon informed.
Asuka winced a little, considering all the Shadow blood the Thieves got themselves covered in, and silently nodded. It didn't take a lot of time, and soon enough, the doctor had two vials of her blood.
"I'll analyse these later. Now to test your reaction time." Takemi got out as she got out her reflex hammer. "I'm gonna hit your knee, and you're gonna move it." She soon informed.
"Hai." Asuka replied with a nod as she readied herself, just as...
Tap!
SCHHWAFF!
"...That was my favorite reflex hammer..." Takemi got out as she stared at the tool embedded in the ceiling.
"E-Erm...I have really good reflexes." Asuma stammered out, sweating a little.
"Put your clothes back on. I have everything I need." Takemi got out as she finished off her notes.
"So...what's your diagnosis, Takemi-sensei?" Asuka questioned as she put her clothes on.
"You're in top physical form. Slightly heavier than the usual sixteen year old but I assume it's more muscle than fat." Takemi informed, somewhat awed by the girl's body. "Although, I am quite worried that you may have Gigantomastia." She however then stated.
Asuka blinked at that as she tilted her head in confusion. She had never heard of that last term before. "Is it bad?" She soon asked.
"It is. It may take a few years but it may lead to infection and abscesses." Takemi answered in a serious tone. "But you don't have any autoimmune conditions, you have vehemently told me you were never pregnant and I doubt this is the cause of certain medication." She soon muttered to herself. "Asuka-san, may I ask some more personal questions?" She eventually asked.
"Shoot." Asuka responded.
"Okay. When did you develop large breasts and can you feel your nipples?" Takemi replied and questioned.
Again, Asuka coughed at that. It took a little bit to calm down enough to answer. "It was during my first year and um...I can definitely feel them." She mumbled with a hot blush on her face. "Moh, it's all Katsu-nee's fault. She likes groping me and that's what caused them to become so big..." She then complained.
The doctor blinked before shaking her head. "That is simply a myth." Takemi informed. "Touching and rubbing your breasts do not increase their size. If they are growing, then you must have some form of Gigantomastia." She soon guessed.
"But my friends back home have gone up a couple cup sizes because of her..." Asuka however revealed.
"Still not possible. This isn't an anime." Takemi stated as she took some notes. "Unless you are lactating, breasts do not grow in such ways. There has to be something wrong if your breasts have grown to this point because of fondling. Either something in your body or DNA that is causing this...or it is magic. And I don't have anything to test for that yet." She then informed.
"Magic..." Asuka muttered under her breath. "Well...there is...something..." She then got out.
"You need to be honest with me, Shirokage-san." The doctor assured. "Nothing will leave this room, I assure you. Haruka, if you're hearing this you're fired."
"..." Asuka looked severely confused when she heard nothing but silence.
"...See. Nothing to worry about." Takemi reassured. "I already know about your activities as a Phantom Thief. I doubt there's anything worse than that."
"Erm...I guess it wouldn't hurt..." Asuka thought with a shrug. She had a doctor back at home, but if she visited they would report to the council and she didn't want them finding out anything she's been doing here. "I...I'm a shinobi." She soon admitted, her voice shaking a little.
"...Oh." Tae got out as she blinked. "Erm...excuse me?" She awkwardly questioned.
"I am a shinobi." Asuka repeated with a little more courage.
"...You know, at this point, it's not much of a shocking revelation." Takemi admitted with a shrug. "...Do all shinobi have such massive..." She soon began.
"Um...from the people I know...yes?" Asuka awkwardly responded. "The biggest person I know is Daidōji-senpai..." She then added.
"Hmm..." Takemi hummed out as she began to think. "Any...correlations you noticed?" She soon questioned.
"Well...Hibari-chan and Yagyu-chan have a smaller chest size but they are younger, but Katsu-nee and Ikaruga-chan are bigger than me." Asuka muttered to herself. "Hmm...maybe how they fight? The first years aren't the most skilled hand-to-hand fighters, but my senpai usually fight up-close and personal. And Daidoji-senpai just uses her fists!" She then got out.
"So what you're telling me is that the larger your breasts, the slower and more hard-hitting you are?" Takemi assumed.
"I...think so..." Asuka hesitantly replied. "But I swear, they keep getting bigger whenever Katsu-nee gropes anyone..." She then mumbled in annoyance.
"Hm...I see now..." Takemi soon began. "So this yin and yang chakra...your friend must be unconsciously letting it flow into her fingertips, causing the change in breast size. It's possible the use of this chakra correlates to your breast size as well." She then deducted.
"Ooohhh..." Asuka got out in understanding. "I think I get it now." She then added.
"...I can't believe I may have proved that chakra is actually causing a physical change..." Takemi groaned. "Is questioning reality going to be a thing with you thieves?" She soon asked.
"If it's any consolation, we usually just accept it and move on about a few minutes later."
"...If that is what it takes to not be labeled as insane." Takemi sighed. "You're...free to go." She then got out.
"Hai! Thank you, Takemi-sensei!" Asuka happily replied.
"Hm...she didn't make me want to die a little." Takemi idly thought with a small smile.
Asuka let out a sigh as she held her breasts. "You're lucky sensei, you don't have to deal with a figure like mine. I wish I had a slim body sometimes. It'll make my modeling work easier, and I won't be recognised by all these pervy guys my age as much." She however informed and confessed.
SNAP!
"WAH! Sensei, your pen broke." Asuka yelped out and informed.
"It's fine. It was running out of ink anyways." Takemi got out through gritted teeth as ink ran down her hand. "Please have a nice day." She then added.
"You too!" Asuka happily and innocently replied before leaving the consultation room.
After grabbing a pillow and screaming into it for several minutes, she left the consultation room. It was right then a familiar blonde came in. "Sorry for being late sensei!" Haruka apologized in a panic as she bowed to the doctor.
"We were awake until 3am. I think you deserve a few more hours of sleep." Takemi replied and suggested.
"Thank you, sensei." Haruka responded as she bowed.
"And now that you've arrived, I can take a nap." Takemi added before letting out a tired yawn. "Wake me if someone is dying, okay?" She then requested.
"Hai...sensei." Haruka responded as the doctor headed back into the consultation room.
It was time for her to start her work day.
(Shibuya, Central Street)
"I swear those crane games cheat..." Homura grumbled as she stomped out of the arcade. "Why do I keep coming to this legal form of goddamm-" She then began, however...
"Homura-san?" A familiar called out, getting the tan skinned girl's attention as she turned to see the light grey haired girl.
The tan skinned girl coughed before standing up straight and bowed. "Ah, good day Yumi-senpai." Homura greeted with a smile.
"Good day to you too." Yumi replied with a smile. "You're improving." She soon informed in a proud manner.
"Am I?" Homura however questioned with a raised eyebrow. "I just greeted you like normal." She soon pointed out.
Yumi however giggled at that. "It seems you don't recall when you used to greet in a less than elegant manner. "If I recall, it was more along the lines of, 'Hey Yumi-senpai' or just a 'Sup' like Ryuji-san, if I remember right." She then added.
Homura however blushed in embarrassment at hearing that, now remembering that. "Oh right, I used to say stuff like that when greeting you." She muttered.
"You are well on your way to being an honorable, elegant shinobi." Yumi soon declared.
"Thank you. It is what I aim to become after all." Homura replied and reminded. "A feminine, elegant and mature shinobi who can understand everyone and has the knowledge needed to survive." She then added. "Though I still have a long way to go." She soon confessed with a sigh.
The info broker however frowned at that. "You keep saying that. When do you think you'll consider yourself perfect?" Yumi questioned.
"Hopefully before the next school semester starts." Homura confessed.
Yumi in response to this took the tan skinned girl's hands into her own. "Homura-san, please, do not try and force yourself." She soon requested.
"I'm not. I'm sure once my training is complete, I will be happy and strong enough." Homura assured. "Before coming to Tokyo...I was such a bitch..." She shamefully confessed as she looked at their joined hands. "But ever since meeting Sis, the Phantom Thieves and even you, it made me see that I have to change.
"I...think you've made it clear previously." "I think you're focusing too much on your past. Look to your future."
"I have to kill my past first before I can do that..." Homura muttered under her breath. "Fucking Komachi..." She mumbled under her breath, barely able to be heard over the crowd.
"Hm?" Yumi got out, swearing that she heard something.
"N-Nothing. In any case, senpai, would you be interested in hanging out today?" Homura eventually asked.
"I would love to, Homura-san. I actually just got out of my last meeting with one of my informants, so I'm free for the rest of the day." Yumi informed with a pleasant smile.
"Oh, any new targets?" Homura soon asked in a curious manner.
"It will be revealed at the next Phantom Thieves meeting." Yumi soon informed in reassurance. "We are still gathering information on the targets as of right now. We don't want to change the hearts of anyone innocent now." She then explained and stated.
"...You know, I'd say that only evil people would have Shadows, but after this incident with Futaba, I can agree with your caution." Homura got out in a tired manner. "Was that caution you developed at Gessen?" She soon guessed in a whisper.
"Well, most of my feelings against evil were taught by my Ojiisama." Yumi got out. "Remember, me and my fellow Elites all lost family to Evil Shinobis." She then muttered the reminder.
"I can't blame you for that, but it's equally as likely an Evil Shinobi family hates Good for the same reasons." Homura replied and reminded in a whisper of her own.
Yumi in turn nodded to that. "I am aware now. Not all Good Shinobi are good, and not all Evil Shinobi are evil." She soon stated. "Nothing is in black nor white." She then concluded.
"You're beginning to acknowledge the grey." Homura replied as she smiled. "Last time we talked about this, you still want to destroy all evil." She then recalled.
"I...still do to a degree." Yumi admitted as she rubbed the back of her neck. "But I'll take the time to at least talk to them...before I shatter them into pieces." She then added.
"...Well it's better than your first trip to the Metaverse." Homura soon replied. "Though then again, I would probably do the same, but I would incinerate them to a crisp." She then confessed.
That soon enough caused both girls to giggle in amusement.
"W-We shouldn't be laughing at that." Yumi pointed out in between giggles.
"I-I know, b-but..." Homura also got out in between laughter.
"I-It's still amusing?" Yumi giggled.
"H-Hai." Homura replied.
Grrrrr...!
"You haven't eaten, Homura-san?" Yumi soon asked.
"Not yet." Homura responded.
"Well, let's go get something to eat." Yumi soon decided. "I've heard so much about that Big Bang Burger challenge, I want to try it myself." She replied.
"I...wouldn't recommend it..." Homura awkwardly advised, unconsciously rubbing her stomach from the phantom aches. "Besides, Big Bang Burger is the last place I wanna be right now...or the rest of the summer...or lifetime..." She soon confessed.
"Is...everything alright?" Yumi questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm fine...just...let's go somewhere else." Homura hesitantly requested.
"Okay..." Yumi responded, though now worried for her friend. "Well, there are other places we can eat at in Shibuya." She soon suggested.
"I don't know, we've been to all the restaurants here. I kinda want something...new." Homura stated and admitted.
"Hmm..." Yumi hummed out as she thought about it. "Well then, why don't we visit Harajuku? It has plenty of restaurants to visit." She soon suggested and explained.
"Haven't visited much. May as well." Homura replied and decided with a nod before heading their way to the underground.
As the duo walked to the subway however, Yumi looked at the back of her friend in concern. "Kill...her own past?" She mentally repeated. "Oh Homura-san..." She then thought with worry.
She already had an idea now what to do for their next lesson. Acceptance.
(Harajuku, Takenoko Street)
Once they arrived, the two had decided on going to a cafe to enjoy some cakes and coffee.
"My, what a feast." Homura sighed out in satisfaction as she patted her stomach.
"You...ate quite a lot." Yumi muttered as she put away her crying wallet.
"My apologies, Yumi-senpai." Homura responded before sighing. "And here I told Ann to watch it with her diet." She then added in shame.
"No need to apologize. I did offer to pay 100% of the bill. That's on me." Yumi however responded. "Wait, what did you mean about Ann-chan with her diet?" She soon asked in a curious manner.
"I...may have told Ann to ease up on eating sweets." Homura soon revealed. "She can't even run for two minutes straight! It's a wonder her body hasn't shut down on itself." She then revealed.
"Ah, she and Minori-san would get along great then, she loves both eating and making sweets." Yumi giggled out.
"Yet she also trains as a shinobi as well?" Homura guessed.
"She has the potential. She just needs to grow up a little." Yumi responded and revealed.
"How old is she?" Homura soon asked.
"15." Yumi then revealed.
"...A case of Peter Pan Syndrome?" Homura hesitantly guessed.
"Hai..." Yumi sighed out while rubbing the bridge of her forehead. "I'm surprised you know that." She soon confessed in an impressed manner.
"I've seen my fair share of traumatised shinobi." Homura however confessed as well.
"...Is Minori-san traumatised or...?" Yumi began to wonder in concern. "Maybe it could be related to Ojii-sama?" She soon thought in even more concern.
"...Maybe you should go call her." Homura soon suggested.
"She left her phone at home." Yumi however muttered.
"Hmm?" Homura hummed out.
"Don't worry, I'll discuss that with her later." Yumi reassured. "Actually, I should discuss it with her now..." She soon muttered.
"Yumi-senpai?" Homura called out in concern.
"Oh, sorry, I was simply thinking." Yumi responded. "I can see Minori-san whenever I want anyways." She meanwhile thought. "So, anywhere else you want to go?" She soon asked as she looked around at all the shops.
The tan skinned girl nodded to that before something peaked her interest. "They have a movie theatre here? Why don't we catch a movie while we're here?" Homura got out.
"Hm...I haven't seen a movie in a while..." Yumi admitted. "I wonder if Akira-kun would be up for one in the future..." She soon thought, making a mental note to ask sometime.
"Well, let's go see one. There has to be something there we can both enjoy." Homura decided with a smile. "I mean, we did enjoy that last movie we saw together." She then reminded.
"Oh!" Yumi replied as she recalled the last time. "What...was it again?" She soon asked with an embarrassed blush on her face.
"I don't remember, but I think the time we spend together is more important." Homura replied and stated as she took her friend's hand. "So, shall we?" She soon asked.
"We shall." Yumi replied with a smile as the two made their way into the theater to see what was playing.
However, they soon winced at many of the movie titles on display.
"A lot of generic summer blockbusters..." Homura mumbled. "Queensglaive...Setoutsumi...Final Piece Silver...Shiv..." She soon read out.
"Ugh...horror movies..." The two soon muttered as they shivered at the idea before looking at one another. "You dislike horror movies too?" They then asked at the same time.
"Ghosts." Homura bluntly stated with a sigh.
"Just can't handle all the jumpscares. It kicks my reflexes into action." Yumi sighed. "I nearly broke Shiki-san's arm when she tried to touch me once as a jest." She then revealed in shame.
"Ouch." Homura got out with a wince. "Oh! Shin Godzilla?" She soon read out her suggestion.
"Murakumo-san once made us have a movie marathon with the prior movies of the series." Yumi soon revealed. "I think I've had enough Kaiju films for a while..." She then confessed.
"Baked Alaska, then?" Homura suggested.
"That sounds interesting..." Yumi soon confessed with a nod. "Let's go buy some tickets."
"You go do that. I'll go buy popcorn." Homura got out before glancing at the price. "...From Triple Seven." She then added with a horrified look on her face.
Yumi in response giggled at this. "I will allow it, Homura-san. Theatre popcorn is usually overpriced." She replied. "I do know most theatre's money comes from food, not the tickets..." She then added.
"Mm, they can survive even if we sneak in a candy bar or something." Homura got out with a shrug. "Want anything else other than popcorn?" She soon offered.
"Just a beverage we can share." Yumi replied with a smile.
"Alright, a large cola it is. I'll be right back before you know it." Homura responded. Suddenly, she went blurry for a second as food and drinks appeared in her arms."I'm back." She soon informed.
"...Did you pay for all that?" Yumi soon asked.
"I left the money on the counter. Now go and get the tickets." Homura replied, the light grey haired girl nodded in agreement as they made their way into the theatre.
Turns out, it was about a man whose wife died before perfecting her Baked Alaska recipe, and now he was on a journey to complete her work...and possibly use it as an offering to revive his lost love.
"Toshiro, man, you need to move on! Baked Alaska won't bring your wife back! Plus, you're a terrible cook. Not unlike your dead father!"
"You don't understand. Baked Alaska was her life! She bled sponge cake, she cried sponge cake, she vomited menagerie until she dropped dead. I can't give up. Not when she was so close!"
"So beautiful..." Homura and Yumi thought as they wiped each other's tears before eating some more popcorn.
The man's resolve and strength in completing his dead wife's recipe resonated with the two girls, especially Homura who felt her Understanding increase.
After the credits of the movie finished, the two girls left the theatre.
"I can't believe he died at the end..." Homura sniffled. However, she quickly looked apologetic when they passed by some movie-goers, who weren't too pleased to be spoiled.
"That is a cornerstone of a tragedy." Yumi sobbed. "They rarely have happy endings." She then added.
"Screw that! Everyone deserves one!" Homura growled out in frustration. "Well...almost everyone. The ones that don't curbstomp people for nothing but power." She soon declared before realizing her outburst. "My apologies for losing my cool senpai." She then muttered.
"I lose my cool sometimes, Homura-san. There is no need to apologize for every infraction." Yumi sighed as she shook her head. "You should keep that fire in your heart." She then advised with a smile.
"Are you sure?" Homura however asked in concern.
"You wouldn't be you if you didn't." Yumi however stated.
"Didn't I say-" Homura started, however...
BZZT! BZZT!
"That's yours." Homura sighed as the light grey haired girl pulled out her phone.
Yumi looked down at her phone and grimaced a little. It was Inoue, and he wanted her to drill through her song again. "Sorry, Homura-san. I have to go." She got out in an apologetic manner. "My presence is needed elsewhere." She then added.
"It is not a problem, I have plans as well." Homura replied and revealed. "See you soon for a little training?" She then asked.
"No doubt." Yumi responded before the two went their separate ways.
(7/30, Afternoon)
(Underground Walkway)
Meanwhile, Asuka happily walked to the train station while tugging on the hood of her green zip-up hoodie as she noticed girls reading magazines with her on the cover.
"Wow, look at her dress! I'm definitely buying that next time."
"God, what the hell does she eat to get a body like that."
"Yeah, Miki-san is so beautiful."
Asuka blinked before shrugging. She was just happy people were reading the magazine, though she still had to get used to her growing fame.
"Who would wear a hoodie in this heat?" She suddenly heard someone wonder.
Ah the ignorance of regular people.
Wait, she knew that voice...
"Yusuke-kun!" Asuka called out as she ran up to the young artist.
"Ah, it's you, Asuka-san." Yusuke responded. "I believe this is the first time we've met without the others around." He soon informed in a fascinated tone.
"For...very good reasons." Asuka got out as the artist looked a little guilty. She then spotted the plastic bag in his hand. "You haven't spent all your, er, earnings on art supplies again, right?" She soon asked.
"N-Not at all. I wouldn't want Yumi-senpai to lecture me again." Yusuke nervously responded while shaking his head. "It takes away time I could be spending painting." He then revealed.
"I-I see." Asuka awkwardly replied with a sweatdrop upon learning the reason. "What did you buy, anyways?" She then wondered.
"Bean sprouts and some flowers to draw." Yusuke answered as he checked his bag. He was lucky, the bean sprouts were on sale for 50 yen.
"Oh, maybe I should pick up some bean sprouts myself..." Asuka muttered in realization, making the mental note to go grocery shopping later. "How is your painting anyways?" She soon asked.
"...Not all that well, to be honest." Yusuke admitted with a frown. "I've been trying to find the right inspiration even since I entered into an art show, but alas it has been more difficult than usual to be proud of my work." He then revealed and confessed.
"Eh? What happened at the art show?" Asuka soon asked.
"Well...it started when I went down to Mementos with Leader..." Yusuke began, explaining everything that had happened so far, from when Madarame was arrested to the art critic taking him and the Leader out for sushi yesterday.
"What!? The art critic is a jerk!" Asuka called out.
"I agree. All this talk about branding and money..." Yusuke grumbled. "I will not use my past as a means to get ahead. Art is more than just money and vanity...it's the artist's feelings and soul put into physical form." He then declared.
"You said it, Yusuke-kun!" Asuka cheered. "Well, if you ever need my help, I'll gladly accept." She soon offered. "...But no nude!" She then declared with a pout.
"Actually, I've seen you naked enough to not require you to strip." Yusuke casually admitted.
"WHAT!?" Asuka exclaimed in shock. "When did-" She began to ask, only to as she remembered all the times in the Metaverse her clothes got ripped, causing her to drop her head.
"I think I'm prepared for university now. The feminine form is wonderful to depict, however I feel as though I'll focus more on the canvas." Yusuke continued. "Still...I don't think anyone can compare to yours, Homura-san, Yumi-senpai or even Miyabi-san's." He soon confessed with satisfaction in his voice.
"Moh..." Asuka could only let out. "...Still...if you need me, I'll be there. Not so sure about Homu-nee though, I don't think she's over what happened yet." She then offered once more.
"I'll take you up on that." Yusuke responded with a nod. "I'm sure the beauty of your fights may lead to something." He then added.
"I'm sure it will." Asuka reassured before checking the time. "Ah, I need to go pick something up. I gotta go, Yusuke-kun!" She soon informed.
"Be safe, Asuka-san." Yusuke replied before watching the girl vanish with the crowd before heading out himself.
(Shibuya, Diner)
The sounds of chatting was heard in the diner as the tan skinned girl and the ash blonde were sitting across from one another in one of the booths.
"Thanks again for meeting with me again Ann." Homura got out in a grateful manner.
"It's ok, Homura. I like spending time with you like this." Ann replied and admitted. "So, femininity training again?" She then guessed.
"If that's alright with you." Homura replied. "I mean after what I went through yesterday..." She then started.
"Say no more." Ann giggled out. "Femininity might not help in a mascot costume, but it will charm your boss into giving you a living wage." She then added.
"Charming the boss to get my way..." Homura muttered to herself as she thought about it. "Seduction training...and I can get behind that." She added and confessed with a smirk.
"You...didn't get any while at that crap school?" Ann however got out with a raised eyebrow.
"What? Why would you ask that?" Homura responded with a confused look on her face.
"Because, you know, you're a shinobi and I know enough history to remember that female ones would seduce their targets and junk..." Ann explained as she scratched her cheek.
"...Nope, never heard of that." Homura soon confessed as she tilted her head. "I'm a fighter, through and through. Leave that bull to Haruka and her talking dogs." She then revealed.
"Her talking what?" Ann repeated as she blinked.
"You don't wanna know." Homura warned with a sweatdrop.
"...Yeah, I'm just gonna move on for the sake of my dwindling sanity." Ann soon decided. "Hmm...I wanna ask, how did your job interview go?" She questioned.
"Well... I went to Big Bang Burger, said I wanted the job, they...smiled and then sent me to the manager's office." Homura answered.
There was a silence between the two before Ann realised that the tan skinned girl had finished. "And...?" She pressed.
"...That's it. As soon as I sat down, they hired me." Homura concluded. "Now I know why..." She then grumbled in a bitter manner.
"You didn't even negotiate?" Ann got out as she winced.
"Desperation clouds judgement." Homura sighed in defeat. "So...how would I use femininity to improve my income?" She soon questioned.
"...You know, now that I think about it, it sounds very much like..." Ann began as her mind played a rather disturbing scenario in her head. "...Okay, let's not go there yet." She then decided. "Not yet for seduction training..." She mentally added.
"So Ann, what's next?" Homura asked.
"Gestures, mannerism and speech." Ann revealed.
"Ok? So what does that mean exactly?" Homura then asked while leaning back in her seat.
Ann however sighed at the action. "That being one of the things." She informed while empathizing with the tan skinned girl's way of sitting.
"Eh? What do you mean?" Homura however questioned.
"I can see your panties." Ann deadpanned as the tan skinned girl quickly adjusted herself. "Homura, like standing and walking, sitting is the same. You also have to be aware that others could be looking." She then instructed.
"And...what about gestures and speech?" Homura soon asked.
"Gestures is basically another term for body language." Ann explained.
"Body language?" Homura repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"A type of nonverbal communication in which physical behaviors, as opposed to words, are used to express or convey the information. Such behavior includes facial expressions, body posture, gestures, eye movement, touch and the use of space." Ann expertly explained...because she had the definition on her phone, which she hid under the table.
"I know what body language is, Ann. I sort of need to pick out people from a crowd, or if someone in front of me has ulterior motives." Homura got out as she rolled her eyes before taking a moment to study the ash blonde. "Like...right now." She then added with an unamused look.
"I...I don't have an ulterior-" Ann stammered out in denial, however...
"We're only eating here because the crepe shop is nearby and as soon as you leave, you'll have an excuse to visit and cheat on your diet. A bonus if you manage to convince me to buy you one." Homura interrupted with a flat expression on her face. "Is that all, or can I go further...?" She soon asked in a smug manner.
"..." The ash blonde was soon struck silent as she blushed in embarrassment.
"Sugar addict." Homura fake-coughed.
"Meat addict." Ann meanwhile countered.
"Touche." The two girls soon got out at the same time, pausing for a moment before they began giggling in amusement.
"Alright, I won't head for the crepe shop today. Stupid diet..." Ann finally relented with a sigh.
"Sorry, but unless there's a shinobi who barely eats healthy and still keeps a good figure, then you can eat crepes again." Homura apologized and stated.
Suddenly, at the same time, Hibari, Yomi and Murasaki sneezed.
"Ugh..." Ann groaned in a sad manner.
"Anyway, what exactly is speech all about?" Homura then asked.
"It is the way you talk." Ann informed.
"...What's wrong with how I talk?" Homura soon questioned. "I'm already doing my best to not swear...as much." She then admitted, be it a bit awkward.
"Which isn't completely bad, but it could still use some work." Ann replied. "There is a time and place for different ways of speech."
"I know how to be polite, Ann." Homura pointed out.
"I just mean you don't have to talk that way all the time." Ann explained. "Just try and relax a bit." She then instructed.
"I am relaxed!" Homura snapped before coughing. "I mean...I am relaxed now." She soon corrected.
"See what I mean?" Ann got out as she shook her head. "You still have your moments where you regress back to when you first started at Shujin." She soon revealed.
"It's...Ugh..." Homura began before groaning in frustration. "I wish that part of me would tone it down a bit, but she is one stubborn fighter..." She then confessed and admitted.
"Like some people I know." Ann got out with a smirk.
"Hey, I'm stubborn in a good way." Homura claimed. "Just ask Sis." She then added.
"Asuka-chan wouldn't say anything bad about you." Ann however reminded.
"No, she-" Homura started before pausing. She then gained a thoughtful expression and opened her mouth several times before staying quiet.
"Case and point." Ann concluded with a smirk once again.
"I don't...really get it." Homura awkwardly confessed. "I don't see how your way of speaking is more feminine than my way of speaking. I'm toning down my cusses and swears, I'm making sure that I use the right suffixes...what am I doing wrong here?" She then muttered in concern.
"It's 'cause you're trying to force yourself." Ann explained.
"Well, it's not like I can naturally fix 16 years of speaking the way I do." Homura sighed. "If I can't speak like a proper lady, I may as well not speak at all..." She then continued.
"Okay, I think I'm going about this the wrong way..." Ann muttered as she shook her head. "This is why I would suck as a teacher...alright, how about..." She then got out as she thought about it for a moment. "Describe the way I usually talk." She soon instructed.
"It's...you." Homura replied after taking a moment to think. "Easy going, carefree, and somewhat seductive and playful when you put your mind to it. You know when a situation is serious, and when you should stay silent or take action." She then added before shaking her head. "Wait, maybe I'm describing your personality, let me think..." She soon muttered while thinking about it.
"No...No, you got it right." Ann however responded. "Now how do you speak? Like when you first arrived in Tokyo"
"...I wanted everyone in front of me to get out of my way unless I needed them." Homura sighed in a shameful manner. "But I'm not that person anymore, Ann. I'm moving past that. It's me now that needs fixing."
"...Fixing, huh." Ann muttered with a frown. "You really consider yourself broken? Even after all this time and everything we've been through?" She then asked.
"There's not a lot of me there that you can fix." Homura sighed out. "But...that's why I'm here with you. And Makoto, and Yumi-senpai." She soon confessed.
The ash blonde closed her eyes, taking in what she just said. "...I think your speech is fine. Let's end it today." Ann decided. "Just make sure to read the room before you speak." She then suggested.
"Okay..." Homura responded, although she felt a little unsure right now. "Thanks I guess You've been helping me a lot with this. Now I gotta see Yumi and Makoto for elegance and maturity training." She then casually revealed.
"Maturity training...?" Ann got out with a raised eyebrow. "I dunno, you're plenty mature already..." She soon admitted.
"There's always room for further improvement though." Homura countered. "Gotta make sure I'm a respectful figure when we get back to school." She then explained.
"You're already there for some students." Ann pointed out. "Oh, that reminds me. There is that sports thing the new gym teacher is doing when school starts again." She soon remembered.
"Right, Daidōji-sensei." Homura muttered with a frown. They needed to be careful around her. "I may as well check it out if I have the time." She thought.
As the two continued to chat, Homura slightly felt as though her Femininity was improving as a result.
"Well, it's getting dark outside. We should probably start heading home." Homura soon informed and suggested.
The ash blonde nodded to that. "Your next femininity lesson's gonna be involving getting more feminine clothes." Ann soon revealed. "I mean what you wear is fine and all, but I feel as though you could use a more feminine touch and some tips from a fashion expert." She then explained. "And I'll even pay since you gotta deal with that crappy job." She soon revealed.
"That's an excuse to buy this season's fashion." Homura deadpanned before smirking. "...One that I'll gladly go through with." She then got out.
"Leave it to me." Ann reassured with a playful wink.
"...You're gonna pay, right?" Homura soon asked.
"I just said I was." Ann reminded.
"You know, just double-checking." Homura mumbled, blushing in embarrassment as the ash blonde giggled.
BZZT! BZZT!
"Huh?" Homura got out before pulling out her phone. It was a message from the IM. "..." She then silently read the message.
"Homura, did someone text you?" Ann assumed.
"Yes." Homura responded with a sweet smile on her face. "It was Akira. And I'm thankful you're here right now." She then added.
"...Oh no." Ann got out as horror dawned on her now pale face.
"Oh yes." Homura simply replied. "Come with me, deadmeat." She then ordered as she grabbed the poor girl's soft, soon-to-be-broken hands.
"Why did you call me that? Why did you call me that!?" Ann exclaimed as she was dragged out of the diner. "...How much is this gonna hurt?" She then whimpered.
"It depends. Do you like-" And Homura didn't even bother finishing her sentence before the two vanished into the crowd.
Ann's Endurance has increased!
(Yongen-Jaya, Leblanc)
Akira finished the last of the dishes and let out a sigh. He had wanted to hang out with Yumi today, but no matter how hard he looked, he just couldn't find her. So he decided to make coffee and clean the shop instead while Kawa- ahem- Becky crafted items in his room.
He wasn't surprised that Haruka was gone...but Morgana strangely looked fluffier with a satisfied expression on his face than before.
"...I need to talk to her." Akira sighed as he dried his hands before looking at the not cat. "So...should I ask why your coat looks silkier and softer?" He soon asked.
"Haruka is a really good groomer." Morgana happily answered.
"Well, she probably has the experience. Mirai's is pretty much a cat...if a cat could wield guns." Akira jokingly replied.
"I guess that makes sense...but I'm not a cat!" Morgana got out.
"Keep that up and someone might believe you eventually." Akira thought with a small smile.
DING DING!
Akira's head raised at the sound of the doorbell ringing. "Yumi? Uh...we're kinda closed." He greeted a little sheepishly.
"Hewwo Akiwa-kun, I'm twying to sound mowe cute. What dowo you thwink? UwU!" Yumi greeted.
"...I cannot understand you. In any way, shape or form." Akira awkwardly and bluntly informed.
"OwO!?" Yumi choked out before coughing into her fist. "Thank uwu - I mean, thank you for your constructive criticism, Akira-kun." She soon responded.
"Always here to help. You're already cute enough without changing your speech patterns anyways." Akira off-handedly stated, causing the girl to blush.
"I...thank you. That will be necessary for once I get on stage." Yumi muttered, looking away from the boy's eyes.
"So, why are you here so late?" Akira had to ask.
"Ah, I decided to stop by here after training." Yumi answered as she took a seat. "You forgot to flip the sign, by the way."
The Leader let out a sigh before quickly doing so. "How is the idol training coming along by the way?" Akira got out in a curious manner.
"It is actually going well. I managed to perform my debut routine with no mistakes in just an hour." Yumi confessed with a smile. "Everyone's been so supportive of me at the studio, and I've been learning so much. Rise-senpai, especially. I would be glad to call her a friend if I had the chance." She replied as she drank some coffee.
"Well Rise has been in show business since she was our age, so she would have the experience." Akira pointed out.
"Hai, Rise-san does indeed have more experience, and it is an honor that she's helping me." Yumi soon confessed.
"So, when's your first song coming out?" Akira soon got out as he cleaned the counter.
Yumi then gained stars in her eyes filled with excitement. "One the same day the world will be introduced to me as an idol. My debut concert is being prepared as we speak. They don't have a date just yet but soon...My cuteness shall saturate all of Tokyo and thus the world my grandfather envisioned will come to reality! Mwhahaha! HAHAHAHAHA! HAHA-Sorry I'm very tired." She passionately declared before apologizing in an exhausted manner.
"Well, eat up and have some coffee. You're gonna need energy, especially when you're eventually touring the country."
"It won't be for a while, Akira-kun." Yumi pointed out. "But...I'll gladly come here before I do." She then chuckled.
"Just don't forget about us at the top." Akira simply smiled, feeling his bond with the girl strengthen further.

"Alright." Akira whispered in satisfaction.
"Well, I have a busy day tomorrow. More idol training, more meetings I need to attend." Yumi got out in a tired manner before finishing her cup. "Do you think I can buy some coffee off you to take home?" She soon asked.
"Do you have a coffee syphon at home?" Akira got out as he glanced at the piece of equipment.
"...I'll buy some instant on the way home." Yumi sighed before taking another sip of her cup.
Akira however chuckled to this. "Here, let me make you another cup before you go." He offered as he got to work
"Thank you." Yumi got out, spending a few more minutes talking before the girl headed home.
(Sakura Residence, Futaba's Room)
Miyabi let out a sigh before she took a bite out of a sandwich she made from the kitchen downstairs. It was kind of a boring day to be honest, and not willing to spend any money or stay in her apartment all day, she decided to head to the only place she knew with good A/C: Futaba's room.
She spent quite a bit of her day simply taking care of the orangette, making sure she was comfortable and that she didn't smell too badly.
Although, she did forget to tell Sojiro that first...
"I should really get a hobby." Miyabi idly muttered. "Or a job..." She then added as she glanced at the pile of trash bags in the corner.
There was that maid costume Imu gave her for her birthday a couple of years ago before the coma happened...
Suddenly, she heard footsteps. "Shit." Miyabi swore before going into hiding.
Sojiro had only left the shop a few minutes ago, leaving Akira to close it for him, and went to check on his daughter when he thought he heard something inside.
A little worried, he slowly opened the door and peered in. Sojiro's eyebrow raised as he spotted no one but Futaba and a half eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich inside.
"Wait...did I buy that the last time I went shopping?" Sojiro muttered to himself. "Damn, you're getting old." He then grumbled as he shut the door.
Miyabi let out her breath as she dug herself out of the orangette's bags of trash.
And that was the reason why she hadn't cleaned up the hacker's room yet.
She was just as bad as Murasaki.
Now that she thought about it, why hasn't Imu tried to clean her sister's room- "Oh, right, the Root of Calamity thing..." Miyabi soon remembered. "Jealousy, the pettiest of reasons to hate someone." She then muttered in disapproval.
Hating someone on a surface level was worthless. You should at least hate someone because you know them well enough to despise their very existence.
"Can you stay quiet? All that rambing to yourself is keeping me up..." Futaba grumbled as she rubbed her eyes.
"Futaba?" Miybai got out in surprise. "I-I wasn't doing anything too bad in here and- wait, are you okay enough to do something Medjed?" She soon asked.
The hacker simply took a bite of the sandwich before collapsing back down on her bed, asleep. "ZZZZZZ..." She snored out.
Miyabi's eye soon twitched to what just happened. "...I swear if she saves it until the last minute like a slacker..." She then mumbled as she got up and opened the window. "I'll be back." She quietly promised before climbing out the window.
But not before grabbing her sandwich.
(7/30, Evening)
(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)
"I'm back!" Asuka announced as she entered the apartment. "I picked up some groceries." She then revealed.
"Hey Sis, had a good day?" Homura casually asked while relaxing on the couch.
"Yep! After getting my check-up, I ended up hanging out with Yusuke-kun." Asuka answered.
"Did he try...?" Homura began to ask, already sitting up from the couch and ready to storm over to the Kosei dorms and throttle him.
"Erm...he actually doesn't need to anymore." Asuka got out as she rubbed the back of her neck.
"Oh thank god. No more nude paintings." Homura breathed out in relief.
"Hai." Asuka replied in agreement with a nod. "I also got some groceries." She then revealed as she went to the fridge and began placing what she got in it.
"Oh yeah, I got the chance to buy some more shampoo and bodywash that Ann recommended when we hung out today." Homura soon informed.
"That sounds wonderful, Homu-nee." Asuka got out in a dream-like manner. "So what did you do with Ann-chan today? Akira-kun asked you to train her?" She soon asked.
"Yeah. She's getting way better." Homura answered with a proud smile on her face. "Her screams didn't pierce my ears this time around." She then added.
"And did she help you with anything?" Asuka soon pressed, though sweatdropped to that information.
"Mannerism, gestures, speech, stuff like that." Homura replied as she checked her nails. "We really just hung out and talked this time around while she told me about the non-feminine stuff I was doing and instructed me on correcting myself...there was a lot..." She then revealed and admitted.
"Is...Is that all a bad thing?" Asuka soon asked in concern, worried for her roommate.
"Well, yeah. If I'm gonna be a good person, I need to get rid of all the bad aspects of myself." Homura stated. "Gonna also be meeting her again tomorrow night to get a head start on what she has planned for me. Her orders...and possibly payback for my training session I gave her." She then awkwardly revealed.
"Can't you go a little lighter on them?" Asuka suggested.
"Hey, if they don't die, then the difficulty is just right." Homura replied. "Besides, I have to make sure they're at our level as shinobi." She then stated in a more serious tone.
"I know that, but..." Asuka responded before trailing off at the end.
"They'll be fine." Homura reassured. "And they're getting better. You know...slowly." She then added.
Asuka could only sigh as she shook her head. Her sister was still pretty rough around the edges. "It's getting pretty late. Guess we should take a bath before heading to bed." She soon suggested.
"Perfect opportunity to give the new shampoo a test run." Homura soon decided, already taking off her clothes before heading into the bathroom.
Soon enough, the two sisters were in the bath, cleaning each other's bodies and using the new shampoo to its fullest.
"Wow, this feels really good! It's going all the way to the scalp!" Asuka happily got out, feeling her Diligence increase.
As Homura lathered her hair, she felt as though her Femininity had increased even more from using the recommended berries, lavender and rosebud shampoo from the ash blonde.
"Aaaaaah~ So good~" The two sighed out in heavenly tones as they finished up the bath.
"Ann definitely made a good move with that shampoo." Homura admitted as she ran a hand through her hair. "It feels much silkier now than before." She then added with a grin.
"Yeah." Asuka got out as she dried her hair. "How much did these cost anyways?" She soon asked.
"No idea, Ann paid for it." Homura got out with a shrug. "She said I didn't have to pay her back this time." She then revealed.
The Vice Leader then blinked as it hit her. "Um...Have we paid them back for all the other times?" Asuka soon asked.
"Of course, we-" Homura began before she stopped to think. "Um...Erm...Oh..." She then hummed before groaning in realisation.
"Our friends keep buying stuff for us and ask nothing in return..." Asuka muttered in concern. "I say we should buy something for them before summer ends." She then muttered.
"Great idea. But what should we get?" Homura replied and asked back.
"Well...we still owe Akira-kun a real bed..." Asuka reminded with a frown. "Ah, we can figure it out later. Let's just head to bed now. I'm exhausted." She soon decided and confessed.
"Me too." Homura yawned. "I wonder when Akira will come for training..." She thought before they left the bathroom and went to sleep.
(Subway)
Meanwhile, Yumi was tapping her foot as glanced at the time once again. She had somewhere to be before she headed home.
"I should have enough time to make it to the hotel, check if Minori-san is in, scold her to death, and then head home to sleep." Yumi muttered as she checked the time on her phone.
"Yumi-chan?" The light grey haired girl suddenly heard someone gasp. "Yumi-chan!" She then called out.
"Hm?" Yumi got out before turning to see a certain childish girl run up to her. "M-Minori-san!?" She stammered in a surprised manner.
"Yumi-chan! I finally found you!" Minori happily exclaimed as she went up and-
BONK!
"ITA!" Minori yelped, a large bump on her head.
"That's for leaving grandfather alone..." Yumi scolded. "And..." She continued.
BONK!
"That one was for carelessly forgetting your phone." Yumi soon declared.
"Yumi-chhhhaaaannnn..." Minori whined as she rubbed the two growing bumps on her head.
SMOOSH!
"And this is for being safe." Yumi got out as she hugged the youngest Elite. "It's good to see you again." She then confessed with a smile.
"Why did you hit me all those times...?" Minori soon asked with a pout.
"To teach you not to worry us again." Yumi answered as she pulled away. "Yozakura-san will be giving you a rather brutal lecture once you get home." She then informed.
"Mou..." Minori groaned.
"Now, why did you come to Tokyo? You know with Medjed, the Phantom Thieves and the incidents that it's not the safest place to be." Yumi questioned and reminded in concern.
"I went here for medicine." Minori answered with a determined look on her face.
"Medicine?" Yumi repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah! Jiichan got sick and is spending all day in bed, so I came here to get the best medicine so he can get onto his feet!" Minori declared.
"Ojii-sama is...bedridden?" Yumi hesitantly questioned in growing concern.
"Mmhm. He needs us to bring him food and um...change something. Yozakura-chan won't tell me what it is." Minori admitted.
Yumi in response slightly paled to this reveal. "Um...can you tell me what he has?"
"Erm..." Minori hummed before digging through her pockets. However, she couldn't find the list the doctor gave her anywhere. "I...can't remember..." she sheepishly admitted.
"Minori-san..." Yumi sighed as she shook her head. "It's important for shinobi to remember information. We cannot carry information physically on our person all the time." She then reminded.
"Sorry..." Minori soon apologized.
"It's okay. As long as the illnesses aren't too bad." Yumi got out before looking worried. "...They aren't too bad, right?" She soon asked in concern.
"Don't worry, Yumi-chan! Once the medicine is ready, he'll be up and ready to play with me again!" Minori assured before blinking. "...Ah! I forgot to get medicine for all the other stuff! I need to go before it closes!" She got out in a panic.
"Minori-san! Wait- and she's gone." Yumi began to call out only to give up when the girl disappeared. "...At least I got to see her today..." She sighed.
It was right then the train arrived, however she decided to head to another platform to head home.
