A/N: I've been able to keep up weekly updates for a while now, but that's probably going to end. I'm in residency interview season right now, and I have a couple of interviews over the past few weeks that will require my attention. I'll try to keep up updates every two weeks, but don't be surprised if I fail to accomplish this goal.

Also, to those of you who spoke up on my behalf, thank you very much for doing so. While I can understand the criticisms given to my fic, they were also starting to become repetitive and it was beginning to annoy me. I have already stated my intention to address those criticisms in future chapters; the ghost kids' proper redemption won't just be limited to one chapter, but will be a long process that will span through several arcs (with Help Wanted not even being the main part of it). Having said that, from this point forward I'm going to start ignoring criticisms that state the same thing as previous ones without adding anything new, as I've already dedicated entire paragraphs and entire pages to them in previous chapters. I will say to RedisSus, however, that your idea of somebody defacing the ghost kids' tombstones is a feasible idea and something that I could certainly see happening in a future chapter.

RicAlberquerque: That's a good suggestion, I probably should use different ghost kid pairings other than the "main" ones in the future.

Jack Moseley: I actually don't know that many VR games lol. And I guess I could think of something for Ennard's boiler room level.

Guest: No, Mike had the FNaF 1 / 1993 location. Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith had the FNaF 2 location (assuming that they weren't Michael Afton in disguise).

Guest: Both of them could have warned him about the same thing.

Chig Chug: …in a manner of speaking.

Jack0Lanterns: Since when the fuck has Fazbear Entertainment ever been intelligent with regards to anything lmao?

Dragonoid x shoutmon: Keep reading 😊

Properman: Ehhhhhh…it would have to be someone outside the family. Mike has a huge influence on the ghost kids, and that influence can't be all good.

AlchemyWriter: The kids will have bigger things to worry about than Pizza Party by that point. And yeah, your interpretation of the FNaF timeline is very different from mine.

Fnaffan418: …You'll just have to wait and see later.

Chapter 117 – VR Help Wanted Part 3

Once Mike and the Rockstars were seated around various pieces of furniture in the basement, Rockstar Chica explained what she had seen. She explained how she had stumbled across the strange Spring Bonnie-like figure in the main hub that had set off a lot of alarm bells in her instincts, and what she had learned from the tapes. She wasn't able to repeat everything she had heard verbatim, but she had understood enough that there was something seriously wrong lurking behind the process of making the VR game.

"So you're saying that Fazbear Entertainment, being the fuckheads that they are, decided to scan some old circuit boards or whatever into the game to try and speed things along?" Mike questioned when Rockstar Chica had finished.

"That sounds about right, yeah," she confirmed.

Mike scowled. "Fucking hell…" he muttered, "…you're not the only one who has a bad feeling about this. Normally, I'd be ordering you guys to back off and let me deal with this," he sighed, "but I know that you have to do this for your redemption."

Rockstar Foxy shook his head. "Yarrr…" he growled, "we can't be running away from this."

"I know," Mike agreed, raising a hand to stop him, "so for now, we continue. But be careful, you guys," he warned. "Keep a look out for anything suspicious. Try to look for more of those tapes. And whatever you do," he emphasized, "don't make contact with that Spring Bonnie thing, approach it, follow it, or have anything to do with it. I've got some hunches on what that thing can be, and if it's the worst-case scenario then it's very, very bad."

"Let's hope it's not, then…" Rockstar Bonnie muttered, but everyone could tell that he didn't sound very convinced. Their track record with Fazbear Entertainment when it came to luck had never been exactly good, after all.

"Can I go next?" Rockstar Freddy asked.

Mike handed Rockstar Freddy the VR set. The animatronic put it on and found himself back in the same world that his siblings had been in.

"Is that Spring Bonnie still here?" Gabe asked himself. Turning his head to the right, he noticed the sickly green form of the Spring Bonnie in the distance waving at him. Remembering how Susie had pretended that nothing was suspicious and deciding that this was a good idea, Gabe forced a smile on his face and waved back as he turned his attention back to the level selection menu. He briefly pondered what game to play, before ultimately deciding on the FNaF 3 series. Given that Springtrap was the animatronic that was most similar to Spring Bonnie (albeit in a rotted, decayed, and ruined form), Gabe speculated that perhaps he could uncover some of the secrets related to it in that particular set of levels. The levels were highlighted by the image of a broken Helpy with an eye missing, his arms and legs positioned as though he were a zombie. "Thank God the actual Help doesn't look anything like that," Gabe muttered as he confirmed his selection.

The former Freddy inhabitant wouldn't have long to wait before he found himself in the Fazbear's Fright office. Gabe shuddered as he looked around the gloomy atmosphere of the room he was now in. The office looked familiar yet had several noticeable differences, most notably the fact that there were now many more computers, screens, and monitors compared to the original game. Immediately to his left was a laptop that showed the three types of systems (audio, camera, ventilation) as well as an option to reboot all. Unlike the original FNaF 3, there were small lights next to each option with only one on at any given time, as well as a giant blue charge button on the bottom half of the laptop. "I guess I just set the option I want to and then just push the button?" Gabe asked rhetorically.

The middle section easily covered up the most space in his little compartment. It was now divided into 2 screens, the top one showing camera feedback of the various rooms and hallways in the Fazbear's Fright building, and the bottom showing a map of the building as a whole. On the bottom right of the map was a button with an open mouth with sound waves coming out of it. Gabe pressed the button, and immediately Balloon Boy's voice echoed throughout the building. "Oh, so that's how I trigger the audio cue," Gabe realized.

Finally, Gabe turned his attention to the wall to the right, which was arguably the most unique aspect of this incarnation of the office. Unlike in the original game, there were now two more screens divided to the left and right on Gabe's right. The screen on the left was covered in static, but the right showed the map of the vents just like Gabe remembered it, as well as a switch to lower the vent snare on the bottom left corner of the map. Gabe reached out to touch one of the vent room buttons and immediately the map flickered to life, even as the screen showing the room camera feedback burst into static.

"Ohhhhh…." Gabe muttered, "I can only look at either the rooms or the vents one at a time, but not both." The last thing Gabe saw before he turned back to the rest of the office was a vent opening underneath the vent map that was occasionally illuminated by flashes of lightning. The former Freddy inhabitant shuddered, knowing full well that this was the vent through which Springtrap would attack if he failed to close the vents in time…and by then, it would be far too late.

The rest of the office was mostly similar to the office he remembered with the creepy atmosphere very much familiar and intact, and yet there were some noticeable differences as well. While the original incarnation had been illuminated with a sickly green glow, this version was much darker, only faintly illuminated by scattered light bulbs and the occasional flash of lightning, and seemed much larger overall. Gabe could barely see into either the hallway window in front of him or the left doorway leading into the office, although he could make out a mesh-like network of wires covering the hallway window that he didn't remember seeing in the original game. The increased size of the office made the whole thing seem much emptier as well, with most of the objects he remembered (the phone, a drinking cup, the Fazbear animatronic bobble heads) all clustered together next to the screen showing the map of the rooms. There was also a small clock that showed the time and Gabe's progress throughout the game.

"I'm pretty sure Springtrap doesn't show up this night," Gabe thought, "so now would be a good chance to look for collectibles while I have the chance." He searched through the office (at least, as far as the game allowed), and his search was rewarded with a coin to the left side of the set of security camera monitors, as well as another tape hidden behind the maintenance laptop. After that, however, he couldn't find anything, no matter how thoroughly he searched the office.

With nothing else to do, Gabe decided to play around with the tools he had been given to ward off Springtrap in the future nights. After a bit of experimenting, he soon discovered that since he could look across all three of the monitors at once, he could spam the "reboot/charge" button much more frequently than in the original game without being forced to look away from Springtrap on the monitors. Thanks to this new advantage, Gabe could pretty much choose "reboot all" every single time he wanted to recharge without any significant disadvantage compared to rebooting systems individually. "Wait, could it really be this easy?" he asked with a smirk. He spent the next several seconds looking through the cameras to see if there were any hidden coins, but he neglected to reboot the systems as he did so and found himself falling victim to a ventilation error as 5 AM rolled around.

"Wait, WHAT?" Gabe exclaimed. "I don't remember this happening on Night 1 in the original game!" He was about to turn around and reboot all of the systems, when he noticed something in the vents to his right out of the corner of his eye. He paid closer attention, and discovered to his delight that there was a coin in the vent next to the player's right, which was now only visible thanks to the flashing red lights from the ventilation error. "Great news for me!" Gabe smirked as he picked up the coin and rebooted all of the systems afterwards like he had planned. He continued to search through the cameras for any potential coins, but 6 AM rolled around much faster than he remembered and he was forced to give up.

"Meh…" he muttered as he picked up a prize from the victory room, this one being an action figure of Toy Freddy. "There probably aren't any coins in the cameras anyway."

As he went back into the game, Gabe thought about the code in the original game that a player was supposed to type in the wall as part of the night guard's quest to free the ghost children from their torment. "If only it was so easy…" he sighed. "Maybe there's another secret like that in these FNaF 3 levels?" he shrugged. "I'll think about it later."

He clicked on Night 2 and found himself back in the Fazbear's Fright office. However, Springtrap was now very much present, lurking in the far edge of the hallway shown in CAM 09. Gabe gritted his teeth in fury at seeing the animatronic form of his murderer but forced himself to focus. He wasn't going to give Springtrap the opportunity to get his hands on him, even if it was in the medium of a video game.

"All right, how do I go about this?" Gabe wondered. He had played enough of the original FNaF 3 to understand the basic strategy, but he wondered if there were enough significant differences in this incarnation of the game to mess up that plan. With no evidence to suggest this, he decided to stick to a strategy similar to the one he had used in the original game. Gabe pressed the audio button on CAM 10, forcing Springtrap into the farthest room away from the office. The former Freddy inhabitant then lowered the vent snare on CAM 14, blocking Springtrap's direct access to his office from that particular approach.

What followed was a Night 2 that was…surprisingly anticlimactic. Now that Gabe was able to simultaneously manage both the cameras and the maintenance panel without being forced to focus on one thanks to the original game's mechanics, he had a much easier time trapping Springtrap in the room displayed by CAM 10. Springtrap might have looked more sinister with the way his eyes glowed eerily, and seeing him actually crawl through the vents to try and get to the office certainly added to the creepiness factor. But with how easy it was to reboot the systems and trigger Balloon Boy's voice in quick succession, it didn't take a lot of effort on Gabe's part to keep the animatronic form of his most hated enemy trapped and relatively harmless. It also helped that, compared to the original game, the audio cue seemed to be much more consistent, even if Springtrap's movements were somewhat delayed compared to the original.

Even the Phantoms weren't all that difficult to avoid, although it seemed that only two of them were active. When Gabe saw Phantom Foxy out of the corner of his eye in the office, crouched down and ready to spring to attack him, the former Freddy inhabitant made sure to lower his gaze as he switched between the maintenance laptop and the cameras to avoid triggering his jumpscare. Phantom BB proved to be more problematic, as he had a nasty habit of popping up in CAM 09 and CAM 10, and one time Gabe wasn't fast enough to avoid the jumpscare. Phantom BB leapt at him with his entire body shaking like crazy, shrieking hideously as the screen flashed white.

"Oh, SHIT!" Gabe exclaimed. Struggling not to panic from the sudden attack, Gabe quickly reboot all of the systems and frantically looked between CAM 09, CAM 10, and CAM 11, and CAM 14. Fortunately, Springtrap had chosen this particular moment to crawl through CAM 14, which was still blocked by the snare. "Phew…" Gabe breathed a sigh of relief. He knew that during Phantom jumpscares, Springtrap had a nasty tendency to rush closer to the office if he wasn't in the vents, often suddenly appearing in CAM 04 when he had previously been in places as far away as CAM 9 or CAM 10. Gabe didn't know if that was still true for this game, but he'd rather not find out.

After that surprise, Gabe didn't have any trouble avoiding both Phantom Foxy and Phantom Mangle for the rest of the night, and he didn't have much difficulty trapping Springtrap in CAM 10 or the associated vent either. "Wow…" Gabe muttered as 6 AM rolled around. "That was…kinda easy," he muttered as he picked up a Foxy plush from the victory room. "To be fair, this was only Night 2, and I've still got three more levels to go."

Night 3 and most of Night 4 proceeded in a similar fashion to Night 2, and didn't prove too much trouble for Gabe either. True, Springtrap moved more quickly than in the earlier nights, and there were more Phantoms to worry about. One quick look at CAM 07 showed Phantom Chica glaring at him from the arcade machine, ready to attack (not that Gabe intended to focus on CAM 07 for his strategy if at all possible), and the arrival of the Phantom Puppet in CAM 08 quickly eliminated that room as a possible location to trap Springtrap in even though it wasn't connected to any vents. Not that Gabe particularly cared; the strategy of trapping the murderous animatronic in CAM 10 had worked great so far, and he saw no reason to change a strategy that was already working (especially with how easy it was to divert his attention between the maintenance panel and the cameras compared to the original game).

The most unpleasant surprise by far was Phantom Mangle. In the original game, that particular phantom had only appeared randomly in CAM 04, and since all of the Schmidts' strategies revolved around keeping Springtrap between CAM 09 and CAM 10 anyway, there was realistically no reason for any of them to ever see it. Now, however, Phantom Mangle appeared on the vent cameras, something that took Gabe completely by surprise the first time he saw it. "Gah, what the fuck!" the former Freddy inhabitant exclaimed as the phantom lunged out of the screen, biting at his head with a screech as it flashed the screen white and triggered a ventilation error. This time, Springtrap had still been out in the hall when the hallucination had attacked, and a panicking Gabe pressed the audio cue to keep Springtrap in CAM 10 while he went to reboot the ventilation system. After the errors cleared and the lights returned, Gabe went back to the camera systems. To his relief, Springtrap still standing in the far side of CAM 09, so it seemed as though his mistake hadn't been a fatal one. Gabe lured Springtrap back over to CAM 10 to continue his strategy and undo his mistake.

"Wow, they definitely made Phantom Mangle more threatening," Gabe thought with a scowl. That particular phantom had only made loud noises outside the window in the original game, so whoever had made this newer version had seen fit to buff it. The former Freddy inhabitant had to admit that it was a good idea, turning what had once been a practically useless obstacle into a credible threat.

Still, that was the only major hiccup that he had experienced so far in his run of Night 4. Throughout most of the night, Gabe continued to keep Springtrap contained in CAM 10. The audio lure definitely appeared to be more consistent in how it worked, something which had always bothered him in the original game. The only real threats he had to deal with consistently were Phantom BB and Phantom Mangle, who occupied the room camera and vent camera screens respectively and required a quick camera change to prevent an ensuing jumpscare. Phantom Foxy and Phantom Freddy, by contrast, barely registered as a threat, as all Gabe needed to do was keep his head down while switching between the maintenance laptop and the camera screens. The boy started to relax as he entered the now familiar routine of audio and maintenance. "Heh…" he chuckled. "This is honestly pretty easy. Being able to do both the audio cues and rebooting all at around the same time makes things so much easier. Springtrap can't do a damn thing to me!"

And then 5 AM rolled around. Gabe had gotten so used to the routine of alternating between audio and maintenance that he had started to get complacent, and his senses had dulled. So when Phantom BB suddenly appeared in CAM 10, Gabe was too slow to react. The phantom animatronic launched itself at him in much the same way he had done the first time, throwing his vision into chaos and briefly whiting out his screen. The former Freddy inhabitant compounded his mistakes further when he accidentally misclicked on CAM 08, right into the oh-so-welcoming gaze of Phantom Puppet.

"Arrgghhh, you've got to be FUCKING kidding me!" Gabe all but shouted as the room darkened and Phantom Puppet's face manifested in front of him. The ghostly, burned form of Charlie's former animatronic didn't attack him directly, but instead stared relentlessly at him, constantly moving itself to block his vision every time he tried to move and twist his head and body to look past it. Even as the Phantom Puppet glared at him without mercy, Phantom Foxy leaped at him from his corner of the Office, further obstructing his vision. "God, can you just LEAVE ME ALONE?" Gabe ranted as the Phantom Puppet finally departed…and the sound of heavy metal bumps reached his ears in its place.

"Oh, shit…" the former Freddy inhabitant groaned. He quickly pressed the Reboot All button and frantically looked through the vents, praying that he hadn't already ruined his attempt past the point of no return. He finally found Springtrap in CAM 13, the vent passageway that ran between CAM 5 and the hallway right outside the office. Gabe tried to lower the vent snare, but he was too low. The lights in the office flickered…and Springtrap appeared outside of the hallway, gazing malevolently into the office at him through the window. Unlike the original game's Springtrap, whose entire body was fully on display in all of his grotesque glory, this version of Springtrap was covered in shadows with only his eyes glowing in the darkness. But with the new graphics, the animatronic murderer looked much more menacing than he had ever been in the original game.

"Fuck, fuck, FUCK!" Gabe exclaimed as he desperately activated Balloon Boy's voice in CAM 02, even going so far as to go to the vents and set the vent snare down on CAM 15 just to be safe. To his relief, Springtrap disappeared with another flicker of the lights and re-emerged in the CAM 02 room, having been distracted from completing his attack in the Office for now. Gabe breathed a huge sigh of relief and rebooted all of the systems again, knowing that he had only narrowly avoided doom at Springtrap's hands. For the last part of the hour, Gabe battled with Springtrap, stopping the animatronic from advancing down the hallway to the CAM 01 room and the Office every time he attempted to do so. To Gabe's relief, Phantom BB didn't appear at all in CAM 02, giving him one less thing to worry about. Right as Springtrap was making his way through the CAM 15 vent, hoping to sneak in another attack through a different passageway that was fortunately blocked, the clock turned from 5 AM to 6 PM, signaling a successful end to Night 4.

"Oh, my God…" Gabe let his arms fall limp as the rush from the last "hour" of the level finally faded away, leaving him exhausted. "I screwed up so badly at 5 AM…I'm really lucky Springtrap didn't crawl through a different vent to try and kill my ass." The ghost child gladly accepted a new prize for his victory, which he was happy to see was a Freddy plushie. "I'll happily take that!" he thought with a smirk as he returned to the main hub. He looked at the level selection menu, noting that he had unlocked Night 5. One quick look at to his right revealed the Spring Bonnie standing there, seemingly unchanged from its prior state. "I'll take a quick listen to that Tape I found earlier," he decided, "I need a break from all that."

He had the game take him over to the Tape Room and inserted Tape 6 into the Tape Recorder. "I came in early that morning," the mysterious woman explained. "No one else was there. At least, that's what I thought. The supply room was lit. I didn't even notice Jeremy standing in the test room as I walked past. The supply room was so bright, glowing from all the way down the hall."

"…wait, that's it?" Gabe asked incredulously. "That didn't tell me a damn thing! It didn't go into that Spring Bonnie thing, or about Fazbear Entertainment, or anything! Dammit!" he all but shouted the last word, before sighing. "I guess we'll just have to keep looking for more tapes."

Fighting down his disappointment, the former Freddy inhabitant decided to listen to the Tapes himself just in case he picked up on something that Susie had missed. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to find out any more significant details than his sister had, and Gabe ultimately had no choice but to return to the main room. By now, he was starting to suspect that he wouldn't find any answers about the mysterious Spring Bonnie in any of the FNaF 3 levels, but he at least had to try.

"I guess I'll finish off with Night 5 then?" he asked rhetorically as he loaded the level. When he arrived back into the Fazbear's Fright office, he was shocked to discover that the entire room was on fire, the flames lighting up the entire office and many of the hidden details now visible. The office, which had previously been creepy and sinister with its shadows, now looked downright hellish thanks to the fiery glow.

"What the hell? Why is this place suddenly on fire?" Gabe tried to think of a reason, before the answer suddenly hit him. "Oh, that's right…" he realized. "The original Fazbear's Fright burned down, so I guess this is meant to represent the actual building's fate. Hopefully this doesn't actually mess with my ability to play the…GAH!" he shouted the last word, as he had been so distracted by his own thoughts that he had failed to notice that Phantom Foxy was right in front of him. "Already? You've got to be kidding me!" Gabe complained. "Oh, God, this is gonna be such a pain, isn't it?"

And to his great displeasure, his prediction proved to be correct. Even with the ability to switch between maintenance laptop and camera screens much more quickly than in the original game, Springtrap acted significantly more aggressive than he had previously, and the Phantoms appeared almost every time Gabe tried to change between cameras. It was all just too much for him to handle at once, and so many times the former Freddy inhabitant found himself attacked by Springtrap after one mistake too many, the murderous animatronic shrieking and grabbing at him as he shook frenziedly during his attack. The boy's mood only worsened when he learned that his secondary strategy of keeping Springtrap in CAM 07 proved to be a spectacular failure, as not only did both Phantom BB and Phantom Chica threaten him at the same time, but Springtrap sometimes crawled through the vent successfully even though it was sealed, essentially cheating his way to the Office. Eventually, Gabe got fed up with his repeated failures, and was forced to admit that trying to keep Springtrap in CAMS 07 to 10 was just not a feasible strategy anymore with how frequently he was being attacked by the Phantoms and the many ways Springtrap could try and attack him through the vents while he was being distracted.

"Okay," he sighed, "time for a new strategy. Maybe trying to keep him in the lower cameras?" After a couple of more tries, Gabe started to notice something. Just like in the original games, if he stayed near the lower cameras closer to his office, Phantom BB almost never appeared at all. He still had Phantom Foxy and Freddy to deal with, but those were simple enough to ignore. With nothing to lose, Gabe decided to try and keep Springtrap in CAM 02 of all places while keeping CAM 15 (the vent passage that led directly from the room in CAM02 to his office) sealed. Since he was only focused on CAM 02, he hypothetically wouldn't need to deal with Phantom Mangle at all since he had no need to look through the vent cams.

During the 12 AM hour of his latest run, Gabe tensely played out his new strategy, always making sure to alternate between rebooting every system and luring Springtrap over to CAM 02 with Balloon Boy's voice every time Springtrap appeared in the hallway, a dark and menacing silhouette in contrast to the brightly lit flames surrounding the office. Gabe half-expected Springtrap to make a break past the hallway and into CAM 01 at any point, at which point he would inevitably break into the office. And yet Springtrap never did. Every single time, Balloon Boy's audio cue would save him, and the decayed bunny animatronic would be forced back into CAM 02, his murderous assault delayed time and time again.

"No way…" Gabe muttered in disbelief. "There's no way it can be this easy, right? THIS is all I need to do?"

As it turned out, it was. The former Freddy inhabitant had stumbled upon what turned out to easily be the most consistent strategy to beat the FNaF 3 section's Night 5, a strategy that ironically had Springtrap contained in one of the closest possible locations to the office that didn't ensure an inevitable defeat. Throughout the rest of the level, Gabe constantly alternated between rebooting all of the systems and playing the Balloon Boy audio whenever Springtrap departed from CAM 02. Almost every single time, Springtrap attempted to cross the hallway outside to claim his victim, and Gabe dreaded the moment where the audio cue would fail as it had sometimes done in the original game, with fatal consequences. But the newfound consistency of the audio cue saved his life time and time again, and Springtrap never succeeded. Without Phantom BB appearing in CAM 02 to attack him, and without the need to change the vent switch and therefore risk an attack from Phantom Mangle, even the Phantoms were fairly easy to avoid despite Phantom Foxy's almost permanent manifestation inside the office. By the time 6 AM rolled around, Gabe was certain that he had seen Springtrap appear in that hallway dozens of times, but none of that mattered. The decayed rabbit animatronic had failed to break through his defense, and Gabe felt satisfied that he had finally thwarted his murderer in such an easy way, even if it was only through a video game's incarnation.

Still, he wasn't entirely happy with his victory. His theory that he could find more information about the Spring Bonnie that worried him and his family had proved to be utterly false, as the Springtrap that had served as the main threat in these levels didn't seem to have any connection with the Spring Bonnie at all. In fact, he hadn't even seen that Spring Bonnie once while playing through all 5 nights. As far as he could tell, this line of thinking had been a complete dead end.

"Might as well pick up my prize for beating this level," Gabe mumbled as he found himself back in the victory room. He cranked the gift-like music box and turned it several times, waiting to see what popped out. The box opened…and his jaw dropped open in shock.

What came out of the box…was a plushie of Circus Baby. "Wait, what?" Gabe spluttered as he stared at his prize with incomprehension. "What? WHAT?"

He couldn't understand what he was seeing. From what he could remember, Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental was an independent business from Fredbear's Family Diner or Fazbear Entertainment developed by William Afton, with some of the characters from the original franchise included. Gabe was almost certain that neither Mike nor Liz had ever mentioned a direct connection between Fazbear Entertainment and Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental…and yet here he was, holding a Circus Baby plushie in his hand.

This meant that at the very least, Fazbear Entertainment was much more aware of the existence of the Circus Baby franchise than any of them had originally assumed. It was even possible that there might be a direct connection between the two franchises. And Gabe had to accept the equally unpleasant possibility that the secrets of CBEAR might not be quite as buried and forgotten as they had originally hoped.

"Oh, boy…" the former Freddy inhabitant groaned. "Liz REALLY isn't going to be happy about this…"

A/N: I did say that any Circus Baby animatronic besides possibly Ennard was fair game for a reason…

So that's the FNaF 3 part of the VR Help Wanted arc for you, which also serves to make up for the lack of a "Fun with Video Games" chapter dedicated to FNaF 3 (unless I wrote one at some point and somehow forgot about it). Gabe had a good idea in theory, thinking that there might be more clues to Glitchtrap found in the levels dedicated to his previous form as Springtrap. Unfortunately this line of thinking turned out to be a dead end apart from a single tape, but at least you tried, Gabe.

The strategies I used are based on the ones I found on actual Youtube videos, with the Night 5 strategy in particular being used by none other than the FNaF master DJ Sterf himself. I would also like to point out that neither Phantom Chica nor Phantom Puppet are in the actual VR game; I included them to make things a little more difficult for Gabe. Springtrap cheating by appearing in CAM 07 and then jumpscaring you/making it through the vent despite it being sealed is sadly a thing though.

That's all I have for now. Hope you guys enjoyed!
