A/N: It seems a lot of you enjoyed Liz's rant about the Plushbabies! I'm glad that it was entertaining for you all…especially cause it's true lol.

Well, it's time we move on to the second half of the Funtime levels in Help Wanted, which means it's time to trigger Liz some more. Poor girl really doesn't catch a break, does she? I've also decided to have Jeremy do the Pizza Party, and I'm already thinking of ways to develop his character and give him more unique characteristics compared to the rest of the ghost kids.

BarcodeMan47: Lol nice skit :P

RicAlbuquerque: That's actually not a bad idea, although it begs the question of why the fuck Vanny would even work in Fazbear Entertainment if she hates kids so much. And yes, any motivation Vanny has would almost certainly be completely and utterly insane. As for Glitchtrap, I don't see how he'd be able to give Vanny powers in the direct sense, but he could definitely teach her how to hack and reprogram animatronics to make them dangerous and hostile if he retains enough of his sanity/intelligence as Glitchtrap. Obviously this is entirely dependent on what information Security Breach gives us when it comes out.

Erlben Cabuhat: Unfortunately the games makes it pretty clear that Glitchtrap and William Afton are connected to each other in some way (further supported/implied by Fazbear Frights), so there's no way I couldn't make Glitchtrap some form of William Afton without completely derailing the story.

Guest: Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

Properman: While I can certainly see a hypothetical Cult of Glitchtrap being made up of Afton sympathizers, I'm gonna go ahead and say right now that there will NOT be a Cult of Glitchtrap in this fic. It's a fun headcanon, but if you actually take a hard look at the information provided by the games there isn't any actual evidence to support that a Cult of Glitchtrap even exists, or that William has any followers at all besides Vanny (and no, real life William Afton fanboys and fangirls don't count). And the reasons why a "Cult of Glitchtrap" won't exist will be explained in this fic later on.

That being said, I do like your idea of Vanny being someone who chose to forgive William and took his side, even if that "forgiveness" might not be something she's fully in control of. Such forgiveness would of course be delusion and insanity, considering that William has shown no remorse for his crimes and has done nothing to deserve forgiveness.

DeaththeWolf: Fuck Plushbabies. It's the only game mode I've played that took me MULTIPLE hours to beat once. And when I mean once, I mean I beat it once and I'm NEVER gonna do it again! Heck, this is coming from a guy who's come around on doing 5-key Corn Mazes and has already completed 5+ 100% Corn Maze runs. It's actually not that bad, aside for some bullshit moments that you need to be aware of.

ThomasTheTank: Mike would absolutely love to destroy Fazbear Entertainment himself if he thought he could get away with it, but the problem is that if he just ruined its present incarnation then it would very likely just pop up again somewhere else, far out of his reach and influence (the very fact that there even IS a present incarnation after Henry's trap proves that it's as persistent as a cockroach). Mike is only permitting this current form of Fazbear Entertainment to survive because he's in a position to influence FE and force them to play things according to HIS tune, rather than letting them continue with the bullshit they've gotten away with in the past.

Besides, there's another way for Mike to help Vengeful Guy without ever involving the ghost kids. He would share damning information with Vengeful Guy that the Fazbear Entertainment of the past could have set the animatronics' AIs to 0 to guarantee their safety, but didn't bother to do so (this was how Mike neutralized the threat of the animatronics in his backstory, and while it IS possible to die in FNaF 1's 0/0/0/0 mode, this mode is so brainlessly easy that only a lobotomized baboon could fuck it up). He would also direct the Vengeful Guy over to Nelson, a former business exec in Fazbear Entertainment (making it very clear that Nelson is NOT a corrupt bastard and that Nelson is supposed to be a PARTNER, not a target), and coordinate with them to release the information about the tragedies surrounding the night guards and the AI levels to the public. Fazbear Entertainment could try to deny it if it came from a night guard who they could pass off as a liar with a grudge, but they couldn't do the same if it came directly from the mouth of a former FE executive (and they couldn't even blame Mike for it since as far as they know, there's no connection between Mike and Nelson). It's unsure whether this could be enough to ruin Fazbear Entertainment since they could blame it on a past incarnation, but it would at the very least put them under heavy pressure from a distrustful populace and pretty much FORCE them to make efficiency and safety their highest priority. Either Fazbear Entertainment is dragged kicking and screaming into competence, or they crash and burn just like the rest. It's a win for Mike and the Vengeful Guy either way…

…and I probably shouldn't have gone into much detail because I might have given away potential spoilers. Oh, well.

Jack0Lanterns: Glitchtrap certainly is being very enigmatic, isn't he? Also yeah, Fritz would go absolutely apeshit if he had to deal with Plushbabies. And that's not even going into Plushbaby Nightmare Mode…

SuperDescendant101: All I'll say is there's a reason I haven't had Mike and Glitchtrap interact yet…

FrostTheFrozenFox: She was probably too riled up about fighting and beating the Plushbabies to notice. And she wouldn't know about having to fight Ennard twice in Hard Mode since she hasn't beaten him the first time yet. And yeah, having a young girl with a sophisticated British accent unleash a rage-filled cluster of F-bombs is a weird combination for sure XD

AlchemyWriter: The only catharsis Liz had from the Plushbabies was beating the crap out of them with her flashlight lol.

MegaMaster78: Comedy-based animations could possibly be a thing even if the kids haven't seen them yet. And there's a reason why I'm not bringing ships into this lol.

Sandshrew master 317: I certainly wouldn't put it past Glitchtrap to try and find ways to manipulate his daughter again. Unfortunately for him, he isn't aware that Liz knows the truth about the monster he truly is and has changed her allegiances.

Chapter 122 – VR Help Wanted Part 8

Rockstar Foxy stared uncertainly at Circus Baby's resting form, resisting the urge to poke her with his hand. "Those plushies must've really kicked her ass hard…" he muttered.

Rockstar Freddy sighed. "Compared to what Liz did just now, we probably got most of the easy modes of the game, then," he admitted.

Rockstar Chica glanced over at Mike. "Should we go on without her?" she asked.

Rockstar Foxy shook his head. "I know for a fact that Ennard is a thing in one of the levels," he countered. "And Liz probably won't be very happy if we went ahead and did that before she did."

"I can look at some of the Tapes she collected while we wait for her to wake up," Rockstar Bonnie volunteered. "That is, if she collected any."

"That's a good idea," the Security Puppet approved. "It'll save us some time and Liz can get right back into the action once she wakes up."

Rockstar Bonnie nodded and put the VR headset on. When he found himself back in the world of Fazbear Entertainment's virtual game, Jeremy reached out a hand towards the Tape Recorder and played. When he arrived back at the Tape Room, he found that Liz had found 2 additional Tapes during her runs, getting them that much closer to finding out the mysteries hidden in the VR game.

"Today was my last day of beta testing and the anomaly that I've been seeing is nowhere to be found. But after inspecting some of the files, it seems that it's attached itself to these logs. My logs," Tape Girl clarified, and Jeremy could have sworn he heard fear in her voice. "That can't be an accident. So now I have to make a choice. Do I leave these logs for you to find or do I try to purge this thing myself by destroying the logs? I've chosen the latter."

Jeremy sat silently in the tape room, trying to process what he'd just heard. The anomaly, which by now he was fairly certain was the Spring Bonnie figure that he and his siblings had kept seeing at the main level hub, had bound itself to the Tapes that he and the others had been collecting. His eyes widened in horror. "Oh, FUCK…" the former Bonnie inhabitant gasped. "Have we been piecing this thing back together the entire time?" He hadn't seen the Spring Bonnie at the main level area when he had arrived this time, but from what he had heard from his siblings the entity seemed to be approaching them closer than before.

"And just what the hell IS that thing?" Jeremy wondered. The Spring Bonnie figure had seemed disturbingly intelligent for a mere "glitch", behaving in ways that none of the animatronics in the game had. Not to mention that it seemingly had enough intelligence to hide itself in the game through the Tape Girl's logs. And the fact that it looked like Spring Bonnie of all things… "I have a VERY bad feeling about this…" he muttered.

Jeremy took the latest Tape Liz had found and put it into the recorder. "I can't delete them," Tape Girl warned, and this time Jeremy could clearly hear the panic in her voice. "By creating a protected area to store these logs apart from the game, I effectively gave this thing a safe place to hide itself. It's in here now. I may not be able to delete it. But I might be able to do something else now that it's attached itself. I have an idea."

"Shit…" Jeremy breathed. It was sounding more and more like collecting all of the Tapes had been a mistake, but how could they have known? Tape Girl hadn't mentioned this warning until now…when most of the Tapes had already been collected. There was no way they could have known until they had already collected the vast majority of the Tapes.

"What do we do now?" the former Bonnie inhabitant wondered. Do they stop collecting Tapes? But how would they find out more information about the development of this game and all of the dark secrets that lurked within? His eyes fell on the Tape Rack, and he noticed something.

There were 16 slots, 12 of which had already been filled. Four of them were still empty…and that gave Jeremy an idea.

"Maybe we don't need to get ALL of the Tapes," he thought. "Maybe if we only get 15 of them, this glitch thing won't be able to manifest fully." He frowned slightly. It was definitely the start of a good idea, but he wasn't sure what he could do to follow through on it. But he was certain of one thing.

Collecting all 16 Tapes without fully understanding the situation and what was going on would be a very bad idea.

Jeremy returned to the main level hub, and when he turned to his right his suspicions were confirmed. When he had first seen the Spring Bonnie figure, it had been far away from him, just in front of the distant doorway. Now, it was much closer, and it seemed both larger and more solid. The figure was still behaving largely the same, waving at him while making garbled noises, but Jeremy had never trusted it any less than now. He turned off the VR headset and took it off, looking back over at the rest of his family.

"We've been making a mistake," was the first thing that came out of Rockstar Bonnie's mouth. "And I have no idea how big of a mistake."

"What do you mean?" Mike asked immediately, looking intently into his animatronic son's eyes.

"The glitch we've been hearing about," Rockstar Bonnie explained. "This…thing…which at this point I'm almost sure is that Spring Bonnie thing we've been seeing," his eyes caught the Security Puppet nodding her head slightly, showing that she agreed with his assumption, "Tape Girl told me that it's connected to those Tapes we've been collecting." He gulped. "I think…I think the Spring Bonnie thing was broken apart by Tape Girl…and we've been slowly putting it back together with each Tape we've collected."

"Please tell me you're joking," Rockstar Chica pleaded. When Rockstar Bonnie's expression didn't change, she threw her hands up in disbelief. "And we're only hearing about this just now?" she exclaimed. "We've been collecting all these Tapes, trying to find out about all the messed up stuff that we know has been happening with Fazbear Entertainment, and the Tape Girl didn't bother mentioning the fact that this thing has been stuck with the logs until what, Tape…?

"…twelve," Rockstar Bonnie supplied.

"Tape Twelve?" Rockstar Chica finished. "Why the hell did she not mention this until JUST NOW?" she demanded. "If she wanted us to stop collecting the Tapes and accidentally putting this anomaly thing back together she should've told us earlier!"

"It might not be too late," Rockstar Freddy gently calmed his sister down, before turning to Rockstar Bonnie. "How many Tapes are there left to collect?"

"Four," he answered immediately. "There were 16 slots, and 4 of them are still empty."

Rockstar Freddy breathed a sigh of relief. "Good," he muttered, "so it might not be too late then."

"That's what I'm hoping for," Rockstar Bonnie agreed. "Right now, I'm thinking that we should collect MOST but not ALL of the Tapes. After all, we've already collected 12 now, and this Spring Bonnie thing still hasn't been able to really do anything. I think, so long as we don't collect all 16, we should be okay."

"Do we know what will happen if we do collect all 16?" Rockstar Foxy asked.

"I don't know," Rockstar Golden Freddy answered grimly, "and I don't think I want to find out."

"I agree," Mike added grimly. "We might not know the whole story, but we know enough to start planning around it. If we're up to 15 Tapes, I don't want ANY of you to pick up Tape 16. At least not until we find more information. The only person who'll be picking up Tape 16 is me, and that's AFTER we've gone through the rest of the game with a fine-toothed comb." He gazed intently into his children's robotic eyes. "Do I make myself clear?"

"Clear!" everyone responded. At this moment, Circus Baby's eyes flickered open and she sat up straighter on the couch.

"What did I miss, guys?" she asked, having recovered from her fatigue and frustration with the Plushbabies.

Rockstar Bonnie filled Circus Baby in on everything they had discussed, and once she understood the new developments she gave her agreement without hesitation. "There's something…wrong…about that Spring Bonnie thing," she mused. "I had a bad feeling when I saw it too. If collecting all of the Tapes will…fix…whatever Tape Girl did to it, we definitely don't want to go there."

"Are there any other Funtime animatronics left?" Rockstar Foxy asked her.

Circus Baby nodded. "I still haven't done the Vent Repair level for Ennard," she answered. "And now that I think about it, I think there's a Funtime Foxy level too. I got a plushie of him from one of my games, and I don't think there'd be one unless he was featured in a level in some way." She gave the rest of the animatronics a rueful glance. "Sorry that I've been kinda hogging up all the levels for a bit," she apologized.

Rockstar Freddy shrugged. "It's fine," he assured her. "This is something you have to do."

"Besides," Rockstar Foxy added with a smirk, "it sounds like you're taking care of the hardest level for us."

Baby somehow managed to have the appearance of a scowl despite the permanent smile on her face. "Don't remind me," she growled as she took the headset and put it on again. Liz found herself back in the main level hub, where the Spring Bonnie figure was waiting for her. Once again, instead of smiling and waving at her, it had its arms to its sides, its head tilted as if it was studying her as it stared at her with its glowing purple eyes.

Liz ignored it for now and went back to the Dark Rooms levels. Just as she had suspected, Funtime Foxy's level was now unlocked, and given that it was a Dark Rooms level, she had a feeling that she knew what the level was going to be like.

"Are they just guessing?" Liz wondered as she pressed the level to enter it. "Or do they actually somehow know about Funtime Foxy's behaviors in his auditorium?"

When the level loaded, Liz found herself in a vast chamber, easily the largest artificial room that she had seen in the entire game so far. It was similar to the Funtime auditorium in CBEAR, but not quite the same. For one, there was no show stage to be found at all in the wide expanse that she found herself in, and she didn't remember that many pipes running from one side of the room to the other on the ceiling. Looking at the floor, she could see that several parts of it were tiled black and red, a detail she wasn't sure was true to the original location it was based on. She randomly clicked on a button, triggering a flash bang to briefly light up the entire arena. In the far distance, she could see the EXIT sign above a door on the opposite side of the room.

"Funtime Foxy is motion-activated," HandUnit announced. "For this reason, it's important to keep the room dark as to not accidentally activate her. You have been provided with a flash beacon. Use it to get your bearings and to ensure you don't bump into anything. However, use it as sparingly as possible. Proceed forward to reach the Parts and Services room."

"Yeah, yeah," Liz rolled her eyes, "I've been with Funtime Foxy for God knows how long, I know how this works…I think," she finished a bit uncertainly. She couldn't dismiss the possibility that Funtime Foxy might operate differently in this game, after all. The moment she took a step forward, the door on the opposite side suddenly opened, and she could see Funtime Foxy's silhouette re-enter in the far distance. The room suddenly darkened considerably, and although she wasn't completely blinded, she could now only see a few tiles in front of her.

"I knew it wasn't gonna be that easy," Liz muttered. Judging by what she could recall from Funtime Foxy's behaviors, trying to approach the exit in a straight line would very likely be a bad idea and end in being jumpscared. "Maybe I should go diagonally instead?" She quickly flashed once, revealing that the room was currently empty. Wherever Funtime Foxy was, he was apparently too far away to be seen at the moment.

But what Liz DID see was a large door on the far left wall, about halfway between the front and back of the room. If Liz had her bearings right, that door was where the Private Room would have been. "Maybe there's a secret there?" she wondered. "It's worth checking it out at least."

She began to walk forward, not straight, but in a diagonal to the left. Knowing what she did about Funtime Foxy, Liz decided to take seven steps before flashing the beacon once. Soon enough, Funtime Foxy appeared in front of her a few steps away, but not close enough to be a threat to her…yet. Liz continued to walk in the direction of the Private Room, Funtime Foxy more or less mirroring her actions, until she finally arrived at the Private Room door. Although door itself didn't open, Liz's eyes caught something purple, and she realized that the Tape Girl had placed one of the tapes in the door. Liz reached out to grab the tape, but hesitated, remembering Jeremy's warning about the tapes and how they were now connected to the Spring Bonnie figure.

"It should be okay," Liz rationalized. "We still have a few tapes left to go. And we need to find out more. As long as we don't pick up that last tape, we should be fine." She extended her arm and grabbed the Tape, which disappeared with a flash of purple. Now that the secret was out of the way, she had Funtime Foxy to deal with. The animatronic had so far remained a noticeable distance away from Liz as she advanced towards the Private Room, but now that she had reached the halfway point Liz doubted that her former friend would be so merciful.

Sure enough, when she turned around to the right and started to walk in a diagonal line towards the exit, Funtime Foxy was definitely getting closer to her when she next flashed her beacon, even though there was still a little distance between her and the animatronic. "I know how you work, Funtime Foxy," Liz thought to herself. "And I know how to work around you."

She proceeded to walk forward and to the right, always angling herself in a direction that would move away from Funtime Foxy. The animatronic would always be waiting for her each time she stopped to flash her beacon, staying closer and closer to her even as he moved back towards the Exit. Eventually, Liz found herself only a few steps away from the EXIT door…but Funtime Foxy was blocking the way, standing directly in between her and the door.

"Oh, come on!" Liz exclaimed in frustration. She adjusted her perspective, moving horizontally to the right instead of diagonally so as not to walk into Funtime Foxy and get jumpscared. When she flashed the beacon again, Funtime Foxy was uncomfortably close to her, only about 3-4 squares away. "Were you this much of a pain for Michael to deal with when he made his way through the Parts and Services room?" she couldn't help but wonder. "I guess it's only fair that I go through the same thing he did. It's more than I deserve…" she added with a sigh.

Even though Funtime Foxy was no longer directly standing in between her and the door, Liz didn't feel uncomfortable enough to approach it yet and opted to take another six steps to her right before flashing. Funtime Foxy was standing directly in front of the door…but now Liz could see an opening. The area immediately to the animatronic's left was clear, and if she could just get to that point she could make a break for the exit.

"I can do this!" Liz thought as she walked in that direction, making absolutely sure that she wasn't walking right towards Funtime Foxy by accident. When she shined her flash beacon again, Funtime Foxy was standing just in front of her and to her left, holding his hands out as if to shield himself from the light. Seeing her victory right in front of her, Liz waited for the light to fade and then maneuvered in a forward and slightly right direction towards the door…

…and grinned when she shined her flash beacon one more time, and Funtime Foxy was nowhere to be seen. "YES!" Liz cheered as she approached the EXIT door, which swung open to reveal the faintly lit hallway that Funtime Foxy had stepped out of to start the level. She figured that the animatronic must have deactivated once she had passed a certain threshold to prevent the level from being unbeatable…something that she certainly wasn't going to complain about. Still, Liz couldn't help but feel that she'd been incredibly lucky to beat this level on the first time. For the many people who didn't know how Funtime Foxy worked, she had little doubt that they would have had far less success in dealing with her fellow Funtime animatronic, and it would have taken much more time to beat her in the long run.

"You really are as cunning as a fox, Funtime Foxy," Liz acknowledged, "but you couldn't beat someone who knows you inside and out. For what's it worth…I don't hold anything against you."

A statement that surprised her with how true it was. Funtime Foxy might have been created with the same malevolent intentions that William had given all of the CBEAR animatronics, and might have joined Funtime Freddy in overthrowing her out of Ennard. But he hadn't possessed the same bloodlust and desire to murder that some of the others had. He hadn't been like Funtime Freddy, who had showed signs of madness even before becoming part of Ennard, and had descended into a complete and utter psychopathic nutcase as Molten Freddy. And she most certainly hadn't been like herself as Circus Baby, who had fallen into depths of depravity surpassed only by William Afton himself. He, Ballora, and even Bon-Bon had all deserved better, and Liz still felt genuine regret for mistreating, manipulating, and leading them to their deaths.

"At least you're not a slave anymore," Liz mused as she turned the prize box. "You're not a slave to a psychopathic monster who thinks that murdering innocent children is his idea of fun." The box opened, revealing the same Toy Robot that had been in the bedroom where she had battled against Funtime Freddy. "I'll take it, I guess," she thought as she went back to the main level screen.

When she returned, the Spring Bonnie figure was waving at her again, making some sort of garbled sound that she couldn't understand. Liz looked at the next level of the Dark Rooms minigame…and immediately let out a loud curse.

"HARD MODE Plushbabies?" Liz exclaimed in disgust. "FUCK that! I'm not doing that shit until the very end!" Out of the corner of her eye, she could have sworn that she saw the Spring Bonnie's movements stiffen slightly and its purple eyes flicker slightly as though it were surprised, but before she could fully process what she had seen it had gone back to its regular behavior. In the back of her mind, she made a mental note of it until moving on.

There was only one level left that Liz hadn't done yet, and that was the "Vent Repair – Ennard" level. With a sigh, knowing that she was about to see one of her greatest sins made manifest, Liz entered the level.

Fritz had described what the Mangle version of the Vent Repair level had been like, but what Liz found when she appeared in the level certainly wasn't anything resembling that her rambunctious brother had described. She was in a small service elevator with "walls" that were mostly empty spaces that opened up to the environment with a basic metal framework on the edges, the only solid surface being two metal doors behind her. The "wall" in front of her had a glowing yellow button on the left side with another button blocked off by a panel right underneath it.

The room she was in right now didn't tell her much. There were scattered stools and tables, boxes and coolers with walls decorated similarly to what she would find in a Freddy Fazbear's establishment.

"Well, might as well just get started," Liz mumbled as she pushed the glowing yellow button.

The moment she pressed it, TutorialUnit's voice came to life. "Welcome to Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. It has been zero days since last incident. Emergency ventilation repairs may be necessary to reach the boiler room on sub-basement G. We apologize for the claustrophobic accommodations of the secondary service elevator, but the comfort of the main elevator is well above your pay grade. Now let's get to work."

"…why the fuck would anyone want to work here again?" Liz muttered. When you took an establishment that almost certainly followed the atrocious business practices of Fazbear Entertainment, and added a psychopathic serial killer and murderous inventor as its owner, even a simpleton could tell that that would be a recipe for disaster. "Like, Michael had his own reasons for coming to CBEAR, but could nobody else seriously tell just how messed up CBEAR really was?"

The elevator started to descend with the soft grinding of gears. Right from the beginning, Liz could tell that the elevator she was in would have been incredibly unsafe in real life, and that it would be all too easy for someone's hand to get stuck on the hollowed-out walls and ledges that lined the elevator shaft if they were not careful. After a few seconds, the familiar music of CBEAR began to play until the elevator stopped in the middle of its descent, the three spaces in the walls leading to three different closed vent doors.

"…I don't remember seeing all of this," Liz muttered, trying and failing to recognize any of the surroundings that had allegedly been from the place that had been her home and prison for so long.

"Motion Trigger," a soulless female voice intoned, "Breaker Room."

Door opened to the left, leading to a small room. There were four different electric boxes lined up on the wall in front of her with a mess of wires leading to four buttons right in front of her. Only one of the boxes seemed to be active, the one on the far left, marked by a faint red light glowing from a small LED on its top. All four boxes had several wires leading out that tangled and snaked around each other, ultimately leading to four buttons right in front of Liz.

"Okay…" Liz nodded thoughtfully, "this seems easy enough. Press the button that matches the box with the red light." She followed the wire leading from the far left box with its red light, which lead all the way to the button on the far right. She pressed it, and the red light on the box turned green. At the same time, a red light on another box flickered on, signaling that she had a new button to press. By following the wires, Liz was able to discern that the second box led to the first button (both from the left), the third box led to the second button, and the fourth box led to the third button. Once she pressed the last button, all four electric boxes had their lights green, and a voice congratulated her for her success as the left vent door slowly closed.

Liz heard a rumbling sound and turned around to see another vent door opening, this one to her right. What she found was a setup that was fundamentally similar to the one she had just completed, but with a few differences. Instead of a small room, Liz found a cramped metal hallway that seemingly led into a black void, with the four electric boxes set further back on the two walls.

"Why do I feel like something is going to crawl out of that hallway and jumpscare me?" Liz mumbled. She looked down the hallway suspiciously, but nothing emerged. With a sigh, Liz diverted her attention away from the depths and focused her attention back on the electric boxes, wires, and doors. It was a little harder for her to follow the wires this time around, but eventually the former Baby inhabitant was able to puzzle out the patterns. The box to the far right led to the first button, the box to the far left led to the second button, the near left box led to the third, and the near right box led to the fourth. Liz couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief as she was complimented by TutorialUnit and the vent door closed. If something was supposed to come out of the hallway and attack her, she'd avoided it in time.

The middle vent door opened, and this time the differences were much more pronounced. For starters, the room was MUCH larger than the other two. The electric boxes were set even further back and spaced out more, with even more tangled wires leading to the four buttons. But much more significantly, Liz finally saw the animatronic that had embodied all of her past shames and failures, and the main threat of the level. Ennard was lurking near the back wall, and Liz couldn't help but be disturbed by just how accurate he looked compared to the true Ennard. The animatronic looked just like the jumbled mess of metal parts and machinery he had always been, complete with the clown mask covering his face.

"How did they capture him so perfectly?" Liz mumbled, the faithfulness of Ennard's portrayal greatly disturbing her. "Did we mess up when we left and accidentally get caught on the cameras? Or did enough people see us get vomited out of Ennard to give Fazbear Entertainment enough of an idea of what we looked like? Or God forbid, take a picture of us?"

She didn't have much time to think about it anymore, for the room flickered and Ennard vanished. "Oh crap, I'm on a timer now!" Liz realized. She immediately got to work tracing the wire paths between the buttons and the electric boxes, this set easily being the most difficult among the three. She even messed up once on the second box, a mistake that she realized reset all of the boxes and undid her progress. Eventually, however, she was able to determine the pattern without making any more mistakes. The near left electric box led to the second button, while the near right electric box (both of which required Liz to lean to the edge of the elevator wall to see) was connected to the first button. The far left and far right electric boxes, both of which were easier to see from her perspective and didn't require her to lean out, were connected to the fourth and third buttons respectively. Ennard had been flickering in and out of sight as she had worked on the boxes, steadily getting closer, but she pressed the final button before he could attack her.

"Thank God that's over!" Liz breathed as Ennard vanished. The elevator door started to close, but before it could close fully Ennard grabbed it from behind and forced it open. "Gah!" Liz exclaimed as the mechanical abomination leaned in and screamed in her face. But before it could proceed any further, the elevator door regained control and forced itself closed, cutting off Ennard's jumpscare and saving her.

"God…" Liz muttered as the elevator began to descend again, "that scared the crap out of me." She watched as the elevator lowered into what seemed like a giant chasm, where she could see gears turning as they contributed to the machinery that lowered the elevator. Suddenly, getting your hand crushed on a ledge or stuck on a metal beam wasn't all that a worker had to worry about. "Try falling to your death or getting your hand ground to paste between those gears," she deadpanned, shaking her head in disgust at the appalling lack of safety features. Then again, considering who had been behind CBEAR's creation, that didn't come as a surprise in the slightest.

"How did William Afton even get away with all of this?" Liz asked herself incredulously as the elevator eventually stopped again, but this time in a very different environment than the Breaker Room. There were a different set of gears in all three windows, with the sets in the middle add right appearing much more complicated than the comparatively simplistic design of the left side. There was also a conveyer belt leading to a basin next to the gear configuration on the left side, and a small metal pocket above it that contained a coin.

"Motion Trigger – Secondary Service Elevator Ventilation Shaft," the same voice from before intoned. Liz reached out and picked up the Coin that she had seen.

"I'm pretty sure there's no risk to picking up the Coins," she mused. "It was just the Tapes that we have to worry about."

Liz didn't remember this part of CBEAR as she had been too big as Baby to fit in any of the elevators, assuming that it had ever truly existed to begin with. She studied the configuration of gears, and immediately noticed that there was a gear missing from one of the slots. The basin in front of the conveyer belt held a small golden gear that fit nicely into missing slot. It didn't take a genius to figure out what she needed to do, and Liz moved the gear into the empty slot. This activated the conveyer belt, which after several seconds rolled a larger golden gear into the basin.

"Okay, so move it to the middle area, then?" Liz mused. She moved it over to the middle configuration, which unlike the other two areas had bars blocking parts of the setups at a time. One of the few areas that was open was an empty slot in the middle of the configuration that fit the middle gear, which Liz immediately put in. The bars slid away to expose the right half of the gears that was previously blocked by the bars, opening up a section of the gears that included a slot to fit the smaller gear. Liz moved the smaller gear from the left section of the gears to the middle so that she could put it in the exposed slots. As she did so, she could see Ennard peeking in, carefully watching her as she waited for the conveyor belt to receive the final gear.

But she had been making a deadly mistake, and hadn't even realized it. She had been watching Ennard, waiting to see what he would do as she had waited for the final gear to arrive. Just as it dropped into the basin, Ennard suddenly leapt at her from behind the gears, shaking like a rabid animal and screaming. And this time, there was no door to save her.

"Wait, WHAT?" Liz exclaimed in disbelief as Ennard forced her to the Game Over screen. "How did he kill me? What the hell did I do wrong?" Had she taken too long in putting the gears in? No, that didn't seem right, the game would be practically unbeatable if she had that little time. Then, the answer hit her. "Ohhhhhhh…" she snapped her fingers, "I was staring at Ennard for too long. I think he just kills me automatically if that happens."

With no other choice, she restarted the level and went through the same motions that she had last time. Fortunately, the wire configurations for the electric boxes and buttons apparently didn't change in the slightest, and since she still remembered which buttons connected to which boxes Liz could easily blaze through the first section of the level. When she descended to the second challenge again, she repeated the same motions with the gears, and when Ennard showed up hiding behind the gears this time away she made sure to turn away to a different wall for a few seconds before turning back. This seemed to have done the trick, as Ennard vanished once she turned back.

"You're not gonna get me this time!" Liz promised as she waited for the third and final, largest gear to arrive on the conveyer belt. Once it arrived, she picked it up and moved it over to the right gear configuration, which was the largest one and had 3 missing slots, one for each of the 3 movable gears. Seeing that Ennard was lurking behind it, Liz quickly put the gear in the largest slot on the farthest left and focused her attention back over to the middle gears. She attempted to take out the middle-sized gear first, but the bars quickly returned to block the right side. "Oops…" she mumbled as she replaced it and took out the small gear instead, placing it in its appropriate slot between two of the gears. Lastly, she took the middle gear out and placed it in the one slot remaining, and was rewarded with TutorialUnit congratulating her for a job well done as all of the gears started turning.

"The real question is, why would it even be possible to take out the gears and mess up the elevator's movements in the first place?" the former Baby inhabitant muttered as the elevator started to descend again. Descending into the depths of CBEAR really did feel like being lowered into a dark, metal abyss, even as the same music from before played again, a cheerful tone quite dissonant with the gloomy and empty surroundings. As the elevator descended, Liz couldn't help but reflect on her time as Ennard.

"I didn't want to kill anyone, back then…" Liz murmured, wincing at how her motives and morality had crumbled as time had passed. "I just wanted to escape from this hellhole." Her plan to escape CBEAR had been callous and disregarding of Michael's well-being, something that she would deeply regret for the rest of her existence, but she didn't think that it had been truly evil at its core. And before her sanity had completely degraded, she had genuinely had the best interests of the other Funtimes in mind and wanted to help all of them escape the prison that they had shared. Liz closed her eyes and sighed. "But even if I wasn't evil back then, I was still a selfish, spoiled brat," she thought gloomily. Even if she hadn't been truly evil, she had still been insufferably arrogant. She had practically forced some of the more reluctant Funtimes to go along with her plan, and had foolishly assumed that just because she had helped them all escape CBEAR, she was entitled to the loyalty of the Funtimes and could make them do anything that she wanted. But as Liz knew only too well now, that wasn't how friendship and love worked. You couldn't just take and not give back, and Funtime Freddy had proved her so very wrong when he had banished her from Ennard's body with the help of the other Funtimes.

Say what you want about Funtime Freddy's mental state, but he had been absolutely in his rights to rebel against her, and Liz wasn't going to lie to herself and pretend otherwise.

"I've learned a lot since then," Liz commented with a smile. "I know what friendship and love, REAL friendship and love, are like. I know the difference between good and evil, and I know who are the people in my life who truly deserve my respect." Her smile faded a bit and turned wistful. "I only wish I knew all that back when I had still been Baby. Maybe it could have stopped Baby's evil programming from corrupting me. Maybe my relationships with the Funtimes could have been so much different. But I can't change the past. The only thing I can change is the future," she concluded with a sigh as the elevator finally stopped, and she found herself surrounded once again by three vent doors.

"Motion Trigger – Boiler Room," the female voice declared.

"Time to get to work," Liz thought as the left vent door opened, but as it did so her headlight suddenly flickered and went out, leaving her without her primary light source. "Oh, no…" Liz groaned. Was she about to have to work on this last section completely in the dark?

The answer turned out to be both yes and no. This time, the vent revealed a network of pipes deep in the chasm of the boiler room. Although most of them were just background filler, there were a series of pipes that were much closer to the player than the rest, divided into sections that were marked with numbers. There was also a series of numbered buttons directly in front of her, each button corresponding to a different segment of pipe. Liz reached out and randomly pressed the 4 button, causing the 4 segment of pipe to rotate 90 degrees clockwise. Flames billowed out occasionally from open pipes in the far distance, giving the place a spooky and almost hellish atmosphere but also providing Liz with illumination to see what was going on. Ennard was also crawling on the pipes in the far distance, his presence warning her of a jumpscare should she take too long.

A closer inspection revealed that two of the pipes had glowing light markers, the bottom left one near pipe segment 3 being green and the top right one near 2 being red, showing Liz the 2 areas that she needed to connect with the rest of the pipes. "Okay…" Liz nodded thoughtfully, "this seems simple enough. Connect the two areas together? That should be pretty simple."

Indeed, once she got adjusted to her new surroundings, this first pipe puzzle was almost as simple as the earlier wire configurations in the first segment. All Liz needed to do was rotate the pipes so that 3 was pointing up and left, 1 was pointing down and right, and 2 was arranged horizontally. The 4 pipe turned out to be completely useless and nothing but a distractor.

"Well done," TutorialUnit congratulated as the left vent door closed. The middle vent door opened, revealing another pipe puzzle. This one was more complicated and had 2 marked pipe segments corresponding to buttons, as well as a blank button on the top left. Liz pressed the unmarked button and watched as the entire pipe puzzle rotated. This time, the LED lights were located on the top left (green) and bottom right (red).

"Uhhhh…" Liz mumbled, looking at the puzzle in confusion. "what exactly do I do here?"

She pressed the "full rotation" button again randomly and…"Well done," TutorialUnit praised, both LED lights turning green.

"Wait, what?" Liz stared at the puzzle in confusion. Pipe 1 was positioned at the bottom left oriented horizontally, while Pipe 2 was pointing up and right. And that configuration that she had found by random chance had somehow been the correct answer. "I don't know how that happened, but I'll take it, I guess," she shook her head in bemusement, quickly memorizing the configuration in her head in case she revisited the level in the future.

The middle vent door closed and the right vent door opened, and this time there was no puzzle. Simply a button that Liz needed to press, and she promptly did so. Her headlight immediately flickered on back to life, revealing the boiler that she had just so happened to activate. Flames started to rise in the boiler, completing the mission that Liz as the player had been assigned. Before Liz could say or do anything, there was a roar of flame, and a hideous scream bellowed from the depths of the Boiler Room. It was a scream that Liz was all too familiar with, but instead of being an angry, aggressive scream of a mechanical monster about to attack, it was an inhuman howl of agony that cut into her very soul.

Even now, with the existences of Scrap Baby and Molten Freddy far behind her, Liz still felt a cold chill of fear at the thought of being burned alive, just as she had been burned alive and destroyed back in the trap pizzeria. "But is that really such a bad thing, in the end?" she couldn't help but wonder. "Maybe this would have been better for us, for me. Better to die instead of living to become a monster. I know that all too well."

"A perfect 72 degrees," TutorialUnit declared, interrupting her thoughts. "Good job! See you next time!" More flames billowed out of the pipes as the service elevator began to rise back up, signaling that the level was complete.

"And with that, I hope I never have to come back to anything related to CBEAR ever again!" Liz declared as she was taken to the victory and prize room. She turned the crank on the gift music box and was rewarded with an action figure of the Marionette. "Oh, cool!" Liz picked up the action figure of Charlie's favorite animatronic to inspect it more closely, accidentally bringing it close to her mouth. To her surprise the action figure disappeared with the sound of being eaten, and her avatar figure began to make choking sounds. "Wait, you can EAT action figures?" Liz asked incredulously. "I didn't expect that!" She winced as she heard the choking sounds. "Probably not a good idea from those sounds, though," she muttered as she pressed the Continue button to return to the main menu.

When she was back at the main menu, the Spring Bonnie was still there, once again tilting its head and looking at her with what seemed like curiosity. The entity had some sort of strange intelligence to it, something about it that unnerved her greatly. Knowing what she did from the Tapes, about how it was apparently cunning enough to tie itself to the Tape Girl's logs to hide, didn't make Liz feel any better about it.

"I better go check on the Tape I found in Funtime Foxy's level," Liz decided. She returned to the Tape Room and put in the 13th Tape they had collectively found.

"They lied to us," Tape Girl warned, her voice brimming with fury, disbelief, and more than a hint of fear. They told us the whole point of this VR game was to undo. The bad PR done by a rogue indie game developer, who supposedly made up a bunch of crazy stories that tarnished the brand. But that's not true at all.In their haste to develop this VR game and clear their name, they sent us some things I don't think they intended us to see. Such as a hard drive containing containing emails between Fazbear entertainment and a certain indie developer. Fazbear Entertainment hired the game developer. Those indie games were designed to conceal and make light of what happened. This isn't just an attempt to rebrand. It's an elaborate cover up. A campaign to discredit everything."

"A campaign that's already failed, thanks to Dad and the Police," Liz couldn't help but think snidely, a satisfied smirk on her face. The smirk quickly faded as she went over the recording in her mind. She was understandably disgusted with Fazbear Entertainment's callousness and malicious deceit, but the Tape honestly hadn't really revealed any new information. All it had done was confirm suspicions that her family had already had about Fazbear Entertainment's attempt to cover up their tainted past. "Is this a case where the Tape is out of order?" Liz wondered. "I was kinda hoping to know more about the glitch…" The past two Tapes had talked about the Spring Bonnie anomaly, but this one seemed to divert over to Fazbear Entertainment instead. It seemed as though she wasn't gonna get anything more, at least not from this particular Tape.

Putting aside her disappointment, Liz returned to the main menu room. The Spring Bonnie figure was waving at her again, and there was no mistaking it this time; it had definitely gotten larger, more solid, and was moving closer and closer to her position. What Jeremy had warned about earlier seemed to be true; getting the Tapes really did seem to be making the entity stronger, putting it back together in some way.

Forcing a smile on her face, Liz waved uncertainly at the Spring Bonnie figure before turning her attention back to the levels. She went back to the Plushbaby levels and scowled. "A harder mode of that Plushbaby level?" she muttered. "I'm not looking forward to this…" Really, part of Liz was tempted to just abandon the Plushbaby Nightmare level entirely and force one of her other siblings to do it…but that wouldn't be fair. It would be selfish and cowardly, everything she was trying not to be. "Might as well get this over with," Liz muttered with a sigh.

But when she saw the changes that had been made to the level, the urge to abandon her morals and run away from the level reached almost irresistible heights. Turning the flashlight on early just to scan the layout of the level before resetting, Liz's jaw nearly dropped in disbelief at what she now had to deal with.

Every single plushie that had previously been in the room had been replaced with Plushbabies, which meant that finding the Plushbabies that were the actual threat was already going to be a thousand times more annoying. But even more aggravating than the absolute plethora of Plushbabies now in the room was the dangerous Plushbabies themselves. Plushbabies with green eyes replacing their blue ones, and with red, blue, and gray stripes running through their hair. The differences didn't stop there either, for the Plushbabies also had more shading around their eyes, and their previously pristine faces now had dark gray sections running through them. But if there was any doubt left in Liz about what these new Plushbabies were based off of, the gray print on their right hands resembling a claw wiped them from her mind.

The Plushbabies that had proved to be her greatest enemy…were now based off Scrap Baby.

Liz couldn't believe what she was seeing. She had no idea how Fazbear Entertainment had learned about Scrap Baby's existence, and had enough knowledge about her corrupted form's appearance to make plushies based off of it. But the revelation that the Plushbabies now represented her former animatronic life at its very worst, combined with the fact that they would be hiding in a level positively surrounded by Plushbabies, Liz could only think of one thing to say.

"Fuck," the orange-haired ghost girl muttered. "Fuck! FUCK!" She took in a deep breath and let out a loud yell. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

A/N: Man, Liz just cannot catch a break, can she? And yes, Plushbaby Nightmare is exactly as much of a pain in the ass as it sounds like. Whoop dee fucking doo…

As for the Funtime Foxy level, it is NOT as easy as I made it look. As a matter of fact, Funtime Foxy is, in my opinion, one of the more difficult levels in Help Wanted. Liz only beat her on the first try because she knew exactly how Funtime Foxy behaved (something that, at least in the fic-universe, was closely replicated by the game's Funtime Foxy without the intelligence of the actual animatronic to back it up), and was able to use that knowledge to her advantage. Honestly, I think Funtime Foxy was one of the scarier levels, and my heart was outright pounding when I did my successful run of the Lolbit level (aka Funtime Foxy Nightmare).

Ennard's level was actually one of the easier ones to complete for me, funnily enough. Although that's probably because I looked at video guides before playing it, so I knew what to do. And yes, Liz solving the second harder pipe puzzle in the Boiler Room was actually based on me solving that puzzle on the first move by complete accident XD. I'm forcing her to go through Plushbaby Nightmare, I had to give her some mercy somewhere

We're slowly getting closer to the end of the Help Wanted arc, not counting Curse of Dreadbear (which will probably be its own arc). Even though Schmidt family is starting to develop their own suspicions, the terrible truth about Glitchtrap will soon be revealed, and they'll have to tread very carefully around the danger that lurks within Fazbear Entertaniment's game.

That's all I have for now. I'll rewrite the strategy for Funtime Foxy but not for Ennard because I already described the Ennard one in great detail and also cause I'm too lazy :P

Funtime Foxy: The goal is to advance to the Exit door on the opposite side of the room, with Funtime Foxy blocking your way. Walk seven steps before flashing the beacon to see where Funtime Foxy is, but do NOT move in a straight line. Walk diagonally forward to the left and right in a zigzag direction, always moving in the opposite direction from where Funtime Foxy is. When you get close to the exit (and/or close to Funtime Foxy), start taking six steps and flashing instead. You may need to move horizontally to try and kite Funtime Foxy away from the exit if he's blocking it. Never use the flash beacon multiple times at once, walk while the room is lighted up, or move directly towards Funtime Foxy. The Tape in this game is located on the left wall halfway down the room, embedded in a door where the Private Room would be.

The Blacklight mode (which I don't think I'll go into great detail in the actual story itself) has several copies of Circus Baby, Funtime Freddy, and Funtime Foxy in the room (any of which will instantly kill you if you walk into them), with Lolbit as the main threat. I've also heard many sources say that walking on the red tiles for too long will get you killed by Lolbit, but I've personally never seen that happen.

Whooo, this was a very long chapter, but we've finally gone through it. Hope you guys enjoyed!
