Hey, UknownHero here and welcome to another chapter of Senran Persona. So, hey, this chapter came out before but got deleted after a while. It was about some drama between me and my collaborators. Got really heated. Don't wanna get too into it as it was a combination of tiredness and boiling anger over creative choices. We've resolved that now, and the next chapter is well on their way.
This chapter has been improved in many ways, as you will see later on. I want to personally thank VividMind17 for keeping us in the game and dealing with our bullshit.
Let's just jump right into it.

Chapter 110: Aloha, Hawaii!
(9/8, Early Morning)
(Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)
Miyabi yawned as she woke up and stretched her limbs. "Ahhh...first day of no Phantom Thieves." She yawned out before checking her phone. "Nice and early. Might be able to get some training in." She muttered as she got out of her futon.
She then decided to check her apartment window to see outside. As she moved away the curtains with her free hand, she decided to appreciate the city view in the early morning to calm her mind. It worked, for a little while.
"Huh, never been through a waiting period like this..." Miyabi soon realized as she went to her bathroom to shower.
It was definitely going to be an interesting week for her.
(Plane)
"Zzzzzz...what is that...another experiment? Haruka, stop it at once..." Homura mumbled in her sleep. "No, don't take control of it...not after the last time..." She then grumbled.
"Homu-neechan, wake up." Asuka softly called out.
"Hruh?" The tan skinned girl got out before yawning. "Ugh...what time is it?" Homura groaned as she instinctively checked her phone.
"Hawaii time! Look out the window!" Asuka answered in an excited tone.
"Huh?" Homura groaned out, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes before doing as her sister suggested. "Wow...it's beautiful from up here..." She soon breathed out, noticing the city and island below as well as people wandering around the sands and beaches in said country.
"It's also breakfast time." Akira informed as he ate his sushi on the plate that was placed on the tray table in front of him.
"Ugh...this shit ain't that great to be honest..." Ryuji admitted, clearly struggling to eat what was given to him by the flight attendants, which was an all-in-one meal exclusive to the plane itself.
"Hey, it fills the stomach at least." Mishima got out with a shrug, his all-in-one meal container now empty in front of his tray table.
"May I have some iced coffee?" They heard the ash blonde ask a flight attendant.
"Coming right up." The flight attendant replied with a nod before going on ahead to take the ash blonde's request.
"Hm, local delicacies, famous landmarks, wow..." The Shujin Student Council President muttered while flipping through a Hawaii travel guide on her own seat.
"Oh! Here it is!" Asuka got out as she saw their stewardess walk down the aisle with their meals.
RUMBLE! SPLATTER!
"AH!" The attendant yelped as Asuka and Homura's breakfast spilled onto the floor due to the sudden shaking of the plane.
"Sorry 'bout that little bit of turbulence, passengers. It should be smooth sailing from here." The voice of the pilot apologized from the airplane speakers.
The woman groaned as she stood up, Asuka and Homura's breakfast all over her uniform. "Oh, sorry you two. I'll get you a new meal as soon as I can." The attendant got out in an apologetic tone as she dashed off to get a replacement.
"Moh..." Asuka groaned in sadness as the tan skinned girl patted her sister on the back to comfort her.
"Um...hey...so..." Homura soon began as she looked over to the boys' meals.
"You took our seats already, you're not taking our food." Akira reminded in a deadpan. "Just wait a few minutes, you're being a little impatient." He then added.
The tan skinned girl sighed before looking out the window. "This better not be a bad omen...please, for once just be crazy bad luck for this instance." Homura prayed.
"Oh, she's already coming back." Asuka got out in a surprised manner as the flight attendant returned.
"Sorry, we're out of breakfast menus, but we do have Big Bang Burger meals that accidently got mixed in." The stewardess informed in an apologetic tone as she brought out the meals.
That made the tan-skinned girl freeze at the mention of that brand. "...What?" Homura got out in a surprisingly vulnerable tone.
"We'll take it, Miss." Asuka however requested as the stewardess handed over their meals.
"I can't escape them...I can't escape them even several hundred meters in the sky..." Homura meanwhile mumbled in a traumatized manner, rocking in her seat.
"We'll get something more traditional when we land." Asuka reassured in a comforting tone as she patted her sister's back, all while eating her own Big Bang Burger.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have begun our initial descent into Hawaii. We ask that you return to your seats and ensure that your seatbelts are safely fastened." The pilot soon informed as Hawaii got ever closer to their view.
"Homu-neechan, you better eat up." Asuka advised as she put on her seatbelt.
"Hrrnn..." Homura grumbled out as she had no choice but to eat the burger. "It better not make my bust bigger..." She then quietly muttered before taking a bite.
(9/8, Daytime)
(Hawaii, Airport)
Eventually, the Shujin Academy students and teachers finally exited the plane via the jet bridge and into the airport terminal.
"Alright! Students who brought luggage with them, they're over there on that conveyor belt on your way out." Kawakami informed the students as she walked alongside them.
"Yes, sensei." Most Shujin students replied as they headed over to grab their stuff on said conveyor belt.
"Guess we don't have to worry 'bout that shit, right?" Ryuji got out as he hefted his backpack.
"Again, are you sure you brought enough stuff to last the trip?" Makoto questioned in concern.
"It's fine, Prez." Ryuji assured before looking around. "Uh...what're we supposed to do now?" He then got out with a lost look on his face.
"We have to get through customs and make sure all our stuff is above board." Ann answered. "I hope you guys brought Japanese-to-English dictionaries."
"Hey, there is a wonderful thing called the internet." Akira reminded as he pulled out his phone. "We can brush up on what we need while we wait in line." He then suggested as he looked over to the increasingly long line.
However, it didn't do anything to dampen the dyed blond's excitement as he ran over there as unnaturally fast as he could. "Hey, don't do that!" Ann called out.
"Wow, Sakamoto ran really fast over there."
"I remember seeing him do track. He's faster than before."
"Did he lie about his leg being broken?"
"Nah, he's still got a bit of a limp."
"Don't ruin this for us, dammit..." Akira got out through gritted teeth as the Thieves headed over to join the dyed blond in line, all of them running unnaturally fast as well.
"Whoa! Them too!?"
"They're not even in track..."
"...Look at them bounce, hehe~"
"Dude, chill. Not right now. Save it for the beach"
"All of you, get in line or you're going back on the plane!" Kawakami called as she stomped over to the group. "But they are right, though. Takamaki-san can't even do a push-up. When did she get so fast so quickly?" She then thought.
"So, how long will you be staying?" The customs officer decided to ask the group in English.
"OKAY OKAY! I AM JAPANESE!" Ryuji assured in his best English.
Ann sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "Don't worry about him. He's just getting too excited. It's his first time out of the country." She told the customs officer in her own, more natural English.
"Ah, well, there's a first time for everything." The customs officer replied in a kind tone. "How long will you be staying?" He soon asked.
"Uh...shi?" Ryuji answered in a unsure tone.
"It's five days." Ann corrected. He didn't even use the right number of days in Japanese.
"Oh, this is gonna take a while..." Homura sighed as she shook her head.
It actually took a few more minutes for the officer to go through Ryuji before dealing with Ann, who got through the whole thing without much issue.
"Next!" The officer soon called out.
"You're up, Vice Leader." Akira got out. Asuka nodded to that and approached the officer.
Asuka then pulled out her phone and started writing in it. [Hello, Mr. Officer. I'm Asuka White Shadow and I am staying here for five days and four nights.] Her phone then spoke as the Vice Leader gave the man a smile.
"Oh. Nice to meet you. Welcome to Hawaii, enjoy your stay." The customs officer greeted as he stamped the passport and let her through. Soon enough, several other students pulled out their phones and began doing the same.
"Smart thinking, Asuka..." Akira got out in an impressed tone as the officer checked her documents before letting her through.
"Next!" The customs officer called out.
"Here we go..." Homura breathed out as she pulled out her phone.
[I am Homura Sink Shadow White Shadow. Pleased to meet you.] Homura's phone informed the officer as the girl herself bowed.
"Erm...okay?" The officer got out, looking a little confused but didn't think much of it. "I'm assuming you're also staying for five days?" He then got out.
[Yes, Madame.] Homura's text-to-speech replied.
The man nodded before going through all the necessary paperwork. "Okay, enjoy your stay." The customs officer got out in a kind tone.
[Thank you, septuagenarian.] Homura then bowed once again before heading through the checkpoint.
"Thank you, technology." Homura breathed out as she put away her phone.
"It completely mangled your last names. And you should really change your translation app, Homura." Ann pointed out.
"Well it doesn't matter, it got the job done. We're through and one more step towards Hawaii!" Homura got out with a fist pump
"Did someone say bomb!?"
"What? Lip balm-AAHH!"
The Thieves, as well as several other Shujin students, sweatdropped when they saw several guards tackle someone down and tase them.
Later on, once everyone got through customs, the students finally went outside and took in the sights.
"Hawaaaaaaaiiiiii!" Ann cheered as she took in the atmosphere. "Mmm, I love it! The tropical air...!" She then declared.
"It's...beautiful..." Asuka breathed out, sparkles in her eyes as looked out at the place.
"Alola!" Ryuji shouted out with arms in the air.
"Aloha." Homura corrected in a flat tone. "Are you gonna be like this the entire time?" She then questioned in obvious disapproval.
"Maybe I should've bought a hat..." Akira muttered to himself as he shielded himself from the glare of the sun.
"Hi! Aloha!" Suddenly, a man in a Hawaiian shirt greeted the group with a wave."You can find your buses that way."
"Whoa! You speak Japanese!?" Ryuji exclaimed.
Immediately, Homura slapped her forehead. "Goddammit, Ryuji..." She groaned in embarrassment as she grabbed the dyed blond's arm and dragged him over to the buses, with the others following them.
(Hawaii, Bus)
"We should really get seats like this for the Morganamobile." Ann sighed in bliss as she leaned back.
"I don't think Morgana-chan can change that though..." Asuka muttered. "But we could buy seat covers." She then suggested.
"But what happens if he transforms back?" Akira pointed out. "Putting on and taking off seat covers seems like too much of a chore to do every time we go do our thing." He then added.
"Whoa! See it! The diamond thing!" Ryuji suddenly called as he looked out the window. "Huh? Oh man, the ocean is so blue!" He then got out in awe.
"Quiet down, Ryuji." Homura scolded.
"Aw, let him enjoy it, Homu-neechan." Asuka giggled out. "This place is amazing! We're gonna have so much fun here!" She then stated and declared.
"Alright..." Homura responded as she relaxed herself a bit. "Now it's just the matter of deciding what to do for the next few days." She then reminded.
"I really hope the hotel is near some really good shops and restaurants." Ann got out as she went through her brochure.
"But look at all the people at the beach today..." Homura muttered. It had so many people, with barely any sand in sight. "I really hope we won't get hit on while we're here. I do not want to deal with broken Japanese while they try to get in our pants..." She then muttered.
Akira couldn't help but smile as he looked out the window.
Maybe this year won't be so bad after all.
(Hawaii, Hotel)
Soon enough, the Thieves (and Mishima) had arrived at the hotel they were going to be staying in for the week.
It was...nice. There wasn't much to say about it other than the amazing view of the beach but it was...nice.
"Yes! We're here! Hawaiiiiiiii!" Ryuji cheered, causing the others to cringe at his loud voice.
"I am so embarrassed." Ann groaned out
"You're telling me..." Homura sighed as she rubbed her forehead, attempting to soothe the headache the dyed blond had caused.
Ryuji soon sniffed the air. "Is this the smell of Hawaii? Actually, I've been wonderin' since the airport, but what is this smell?" He soon questioned with a frown.
Asuka took a deep breath and shuddered a little with a pleased smile on her face. "It's like...I'm in the middle of a luau!" She breathed out.
"Are you getting high off it?" Akira joked, laughing a little only to get a punch to the shoulder, courtesy of Homura. "Ow! Hey, one of these days you're gonna dislocate something." He then grumbled.
"Supposedly, it's the lingering scent of carpet cleaner." Mishima spoke up. "It's coconut-scented. Plus, I'd say the scent of plumeria for the leis are amplifying the tropical atmosphere here." He then informed.
"What are you, the king of random facts!?" Ryuji got out.
"I'm the type that likes to look up stuff beforehand." Mishima replied as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Then tell me a cheap but good place to eat." Ryuji soon urged the admin.
"Do that after we've figured out room assignments. We can't go out until we get our keys!" Ann pointed out with a sigh.
"Rooming with Homu-neechan!" Asuka immediately declared while raising her hand.
"Seconded!" Homura also immediately declared, mimicking her sister's action.
To that, the others sweatdropped.
"Yup, just like in Japan." Akira deadpanned. "Um...you do realize it's four per room, not two." He then got out.
"Actually it is two per room." Makoto awkwardly informed.
"Ah, I must've been misinformed." Akira replied as he sweatdropped to see the sparkles in the two girl's eyes. "Alright, who else is everyone rooming with?" He then asked.
"It's sorted by class. It's easier for roll call." Makoto soon revealed. "I have a roommate from mine." She then informed.
"Aw man, so I can't room with Akira?" Ryuji asked in disappointment. "Dammit...Bet no one from my class would think of lettin' me room with 'em." He then grumbled in a disappointed manner.
"Moh, Ryuji-kun." Asuka got out in a sympathetic manner. "I really wish you were in our class so you wouldn't be alone." She then added.
"Heh, appreciate the thought." Ryuji chuckled. "Maybe next-Oh." He then got out before remembering that some of them weren't going to stay for their third year.
"Wait, does that mean my roommate will be Mishima?" Akira muttered to himself. He was the only person who would ever think of rooming with him.
"It seems so." Makoto replied.
"I-I'm right here." Mishima got out in a quiet tone just as the two girls from their class approached the ash blonde.
"Takamaki-san, have you decided on which room to stay in?" The tall girl asked, attempting to look casual.
"No, not yet." Ann replied as she shook her head.
"In that case, how about rooming with me?" The tall girl offered.
"And if it's OK with you, do you want to walk around together once we're free to go about?" Her friend soon suggested. "We've never gone overseas before, so we thought it'd be reassuring if we had someone who knows English." She then added.
"Oh, sure, of course-" Ann began, only for the Leader to step right in front of her.
"Uh, hold on, Ann." Akira interrupted before looking over to the two girls. "Excuse us for a moment ladies." He then got out in a polite tone as he pulled the ash blonde away.
"Akira?" Ann got out in confusion.
"Ann, those girls have never talked to you before." Akira whispered. "Are you sure they aren't just using you for your English?" He then asked in concern.
"Akira, I think that's just your paranoia talking." Ann stated with a frown. "Plus, we've talked once or twice and it'll be nice to make some more friends outside of our group." She then added.
Akira narrowed his eyes at the girl before sighing. "Alright, I trust you." He relented. "But if you start thinking they're bitches, go to Homura." The Leader soon advised.
"Not you or Makoto?" Ann questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Meh, I kinda wanna relax while we're here." Akira admitted with a shrug.
Ann could only sigh in response. "Lazy, lazy..." She mumbled.
"Come on, a couple of days ago we killed a demon god. It would be nice to kick our feet up." Akira soon stated as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Ann simply shook her head as they headed back. "Alright, I'll go with you guys." She soon replied, with the two girls pumping their fists in excitement.
"Thank you, Takamaki-san! We're going to be the bestest of friends!" The tall girl soon declared before heading off to grab their room key.
"So, have you decided who to room with yet?" Kawakami asked as she approached the group.
"Er, yeah. Just about." Akira answered with a smile.
"Good. Now don't do anything stupid, okay? This isn't Japan, you know." Kawakami warned.
"That sounds like a challenge to me." Akira thought with a devious smirk on his face.
"Akira, behave." Homura however chided.
"I didn't say anything!" Akira declared with his hands up.
"I can tell what you're thinking." Homura countered.
"Just hurry up and get your room keys. They're at the front desk." Kawakami sighed as she walked away with a fluffy haired girl following after her.
"Come on, let's get to our rooms, get changed into our swimsuits and see what Hawaii has to offer!" Asuka soon called out while pumping a fist into the air.
"Hell yeah!" Homura and Ryuji declared in agreement.
"Meet up here in ten minutes?" Akira suggested.
"Sure." Asuka responded with a nod before squealing in excitement. "Hawaii, here we come!" She then declared as the Thieves began heading over to the front desk to get their keys.
"This excited energy...I didn't think I'd get to experience such a-" Makoto giggled as she-
"Oh right, it's my birthday today." Asuka suddenly remembered.
Immediately, the rest of the Thieves tripped over themselves at that sudden yet extremely casual reveal.
"...WHAT!?" Everyone shouted out in shock.
"Why did you only remember it now!?" Ryuji exclaimed.
"Ehehe, with everything going on, it just flew right over my head." Asuka sheepishly confessed.
"Oh...so...happy birthday, Asuka." Akira awkwardly congratulated the birthday girl. "Guess we can consider this trip as your birthday present then." He then added.
"Tch! Amateurs." Homura scoffed with a smirk before pulling a box from out of nowhere. "I came prepared." She soon revealed.
"Wha?" Asuka got out in shock.
"Where were you carrying that?" Mishima asked, but was subsequently ignored.
"I spent all my money from the lottery and from Shin for this." Homura soon confessed, surprising the brunette in concern. "I'll need to mooch off you for a little longer, but...here you go. Happy birthday, Sis." She then added with a kind smile.
"Homu-neechan, you shouldn't have..." Asuka began as she started opening the present.
RIP!
"Well, Asuka? What is it?" Ryuji asked in a curious tone.
"It's...photos. A lot of photos and frames." Asuka answered as she pulled out a photo from the box.
"That's lame- OOF!" The dyed blond deadpanned, only to get elbowed in the stomach.
"Read the room." Ann and Makoto bluntly chided.
"The greatest gift you gave me is my memories with you and our friends, so I thought it would be nice to make sure those memories stay, even if we forget one day." Homura soon explained.
"Aw...that's sweet." Ann cooed out in approval.
"I wish I had taken more photos though..." Homura sheepishly admitted. There were more frames than photos after all. "There's also another gift at the bottom." She then added.
"Huh?" Asuka got out in confusion...before her eyes widened while looking at the bottom of the box. "Oh my God!" She exclaimed in awe at what she saw, pulling out a black lace-
"You shouldn't show it out here." Akira interrupted as he put the extra back in the box.
"Huh?" Asuka got out in confusion.
"Yeah, um...we should get going. The beach awaits." Makoto suggested before heading off to meet with her roommate.
"I hope Miyabi-chan is having fun back in Tokyo." Asuka got out with a smile as she followed her sister to get their room key.
(Tokyo, Shibuya, Station Square)
Miyabi coughed harshly as she stumbled away from the smoking area. "Ugh...why is Hebijo's method of smoke training better than standing in that cesspit?" She wondered before going down to her hands and knees to cough some more.
"Miyabi? Are you okay?" A familiar voice got out in concern above her.
"Hey, Mona." Miyabi greeted before coughing some more. "Ack! I'm...okay...kinda..." She then groaned.
"Stay down and breathe." Morgana advised.
The white haired woman did as so before sitting down at the statue of Hachiko. "Aren't you supposed to be in Yongen with Futaba?" Miyabi noted.
"What? Isn't it healthy to go out once in a while?" Morgana responded with a frown.
"Well, most cats prefer to stay indoors from my experience." Miyabi under her breath, not noticing the wince on Morgana's face. "Actually, I'm glad you're here." She then admitted.
"Huh? Really?" Morgana got out, perking up a little. "What do you want?" He practically demanded to know what the woman wanted him to do.
"Well, while I'm here, I may as well get a license for a motorcycle or a car and you're the only vehicle I have access to." Miyabi explained. "I cannot believe I just said that to a cat." She then grumbled under her breath ignoring the downtrodden look that appeared on her face.
"Oh...you just...need a car..." Morgana mumbled.
"It would be helpful." Miyabi admitted as she kneeled down and began petting him. "So do you mind?" She then requested.
"What does that involve exactly?" Morgana meanwhile asked back with a raised eyebrow before unintentionally purring.
"Well, we just go into the Metaverse, you turn into a car and we drive around the Tokyo streets. I don't want to go and deal with Shadows after all." Miyabi then explained.
"...Do you have a learner's permit?" Morgana then questioned, tail wagging in satisfaction.
"No, but Joker doesn't have one either and he hasn't killed us all with his driving yet." Miyabi replied before picking the not cat up and holding him in her arms. "Come on, it'll be an hour, two hours tops." She then added.
"Okay. But only for an hour." Morgana relented before looking at the massive amount of people around. "Let's go somewhere a little more private before we travel over to the Metaverse." He then instructed.
"Right." Miyabi responded with a nod of agreement before heading off, petting the cat all the while before taking out her phone.
(Mementos)
"We're just going to be on the surface. We're not entering the underground with just the two of us." Serpent soon explained as she put the not cat down on the ground.
"Yeah. I know." Mona responded with a nod. "Morgana...Tenshin!" He soon declared as he jumped into the air.
POOF!
"Is saying that necessary?" Serpent questioned in a curious manner.
"Yes." Mona bluntly answered. "Make sure you don't damage me while we do this." He then requested.
"I brought healing items." The white haired woman assured with a nod as she climbed into the car and took a deep breath. "Honestly, I'm surprised the others never thought of doing this." She then confessed.
"There's a lot of things that others don't consider..." Mona mumbled.
"Okay, now where's the thing...?" Serpent muttered as she looked around the car.
"You can drive stick, right?" Mona asked in a worried tone.
"...What's stick? Is there a difference?" The white haired woman got out in confusion.
The not cat blinked. How the hell did she drive them out of Futaba's Palace then!? "Maybe you should do some theory before you get behind the wheel." Mona suggested, very tempted to just revert to his normal form.
"It's fine, it's fine. You can learn by doing." Serpent assured as she grabbed hold of the gear shift. "I can figure it out. Stuff these days is made to be as easy to use as possible." She then stated with confidence.
The not cat soon sweatdropped, as he remembered looking up somewhere that the type of car he could transform into was from 1947. "Just...don't kill yourself...or me..."
"I can survive a car crash. I've been through way worse."
"What does that even-"
"BANZAI!" Serpent declared as she slammed her foot on the gas.
And yet...nothing happened.
"You didn't start the engine." Mona informed in a flat tone. "Also, you didn't disengage the parking brake and you're not in drive." He then informed.
"What? Ah, give me a sec." Serpent got out as she turned the car on and fiddled with the gear shift. "Oh, that's how it works. Okay, BANZAI!" She then muttered before exclaiming.
"YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!" Mona soon screamed in terror as his tires squealed before speeding off. "SLOW DOWN! SLOW DOWN!" He then ordered.
"Uh...how do I do that?" Serpent soon asked as she looked down at the gear shift.
"WATCH THE ROAD!" Mona warned as a building rapidly approached.
Serpent soon looked up and saw they were about to crash. "Oh crap!" She exclaimed before slamming on the brakes.
SCREECH!
"AAAAHHHH!" Mona cried out before soon calming down as they just barely tapped the wall. "U-Ugh..." He groaned.
"O-Okay...that could've been smoother." Serpent confessed.
"YOU THINK!?" Mona exclaimed. "Can you please exercise any sort of car safety behind the wheel!?" He then requested.
"..." Serpent in response became completely silent.
"Do you even know-" Mona began before stopping himself. "Why do I even ask? Of course you don't." He then muttered.
"And that's why we're here." Serpent responded.
"Go and read a book!" Mona soon ordered.
"I'll read later." Serpent waved off. "Real world experience is way more important." She then stated, a rush still coursing through her body.
"This is not how you learn how to drive normally!" Mona declared.
"There's nothing normal about this!" Serpent countered as she stomped her foot onto the pedal.
"Oh God, not again!" Mona exclaimed in a panic as they sped off once again, rapidly approaching a corner.
"And...drift!" Serpent declared.
SCREECH! CRASH!
Unfortunately, the Morganamobile simply tipped over the side, his wheels still spinning.
"I'd say that went well." Serpent got out with a proud smile.
"Grrrraaaaaggggghhhhhh..." Mona groaned out in pain as the white haired woman climbed out. "What part of that went well?" He soon asked.
"Because I haven't killed us both yet." Serpent replied as she flipped the not car back on his wheels. "I'd say that's a win." She then added.
"You should have bigger goals." Mona whined.
"You know, the Metaverse really is as convenient as using a Shinobi Kekkai." Serpent eventually noted. "We could do a lot more in the area than just going to Mementos." She then added as she climbed back into the car.
"I wanna die..." Mona groaned in a tired manner.
"You can do that later." Serpent responded dismissively before gripping on the steering wheel once again. "Alright, another lap around the block!" She soon decided with a grin.
"NoooooOOOOOOO!" Mona screamed as the car lurched forward before speeding off into the city.
(Hawaii, Waikiki Beach)
"Wow, look at that sea, dude!" A male Shujin student in his swimming trunks got out.
"Holy crap! There's so many people!" Another male student got out while looking around. "Come on, there's gotta be someone willing to go out with us here!" He then added.
"Uh..." The first student got out, suddenly agape and wide-eyed.
"Huh, what are you- holy..." The second student began before turning and becoming breathless at the sight.
What they noticed just now was a certain group of friends who were now in their swimwear. The girls in their group were having two-piece bikinis of different varieties, while the boys were simply having swimming trunks.
"Come on guys! We gotta see the beach itself!" Asuka exclaimed to his friends while wearing the swimsuit she wore when they went to the beach back in Tokyo.
And additionally, the same goes for every member of the Phantom Thieves present here in Hawaii right now.
"Alright, alright. We're coming." Makoto responded with a smile as she unintentionally adjusted her swimsuit a bit. "They really are a bit bigger now..." She mentally sighed.
"So beautiful..." Asuka sighed out with sparkles in her eyes.
"Definitely different from Japanese beaches..." Homura admitted in an impressed tone. "They look so much cleaner." She then added.
"So this is Waikiki." Ann got out in amazement. "Hawaii is the best!" She soon declared.
"It definitely is a change in scenery." Makoto confessed with a nod of approval.
"There sure are a ton of people here. And...a lot of tall buildings, like hotels." Ryuji got out, gazing at the tall buildings.
"Yeah, there's probably one or two every block." Akira assumed.
"Well Hawaii is a popular tourist location. They need a lot of hotels to have the tourists stay in." Homura reminded.
"It's a little too clean here though." Ann remarked. "It feels like an artificial resort." She then admitted.
"Shows how great the people here are in terms of cleanliness and discipline." Akira commented.
"Still, look how clear the ocean is. The palm trees definitely give off a tropical vibe too." Makoto commented with a smile.
"I guess they keep everything clean so people can enjoy themselves." Asuka assumed.
"This is better than the beach back in our country." Akira got out. "I mean, you can't beat white sand." He then added.
"Yep." Ryuji replied. "Really looking forward to taking a dip in the sea." He then got out with a fist pump...before gazing around the premises.
"Ryuji...your eyes are wandering." Homura noticed with a frown. "You getting a taste of all the girls around here?" She then asked.
"I thought Ann was pretty impressive, but compared to the foreign ladies...eh." Ryuji admitted.
"Then stop looking!" Ann called out as she covered her chest with her arms.
"You think so too, don't you? Like, these ladies are massive, unlike the girls in Japan!" Ryuji called out with crossed arms while looking at Akira with a grin.
"..." Akira, Asuka and Homura stared directly at the dyed blond as he realized what he just said.
"Ryuji, do you even know what you're saying right now?" Akira questioned with a hand on his waist.
"Yeah, I uh...I just did." Ryuji groaned as he covered his face with one free hand. "Sorry." He then apologized afterwards.
"Keep it in your trunks, you horny monkey." Homura sighed as she shook her head.
"Moving on, take a look over there. Isn't that Diamond Head?" Makoto soon got out as she looked out in the distance.
"Ooh, I saw it from the bus too." Ryuji recalled. "But why's it called that? Are diamonds a local product?" He then wondered.
"Wouldn't it say online?" Ann pointed out before the Thieves took out their phones.
"Ah, there we go." The dyed blond breathed out as he found the info. "Wait, people long ago mistook volcanic rock for it? The eff?" He then got out in surprise and confusion.
"Might as well look up recommended places in Waikiki too. Oh right, I wanted to eat pancakes." Ann muttered as she typed away on her phone.
"Out of all things there, from native fish to tropical fruits, you're itching for pancakes?" Asuka couldn't help but laugh at that.
"What? There might be special Hawaiian pancakes." Ann insisted with a smile.
"With pineapple on top?" Akira guessed with an amused smile.
"...Would that be good?" Ann questioned in a curious manner.
"I wouldn't know. I don't think about pancakes when thinking of Hawaii." Akira responded with a shrug.
"I wonder if there are any online recommendations of scenic spots?" Makoto muttered.
"Well, if we can find them online, it'll probably already be full of people." Akira pointed out.
"We should check for cheap and popular restaurants then." Ryuji suggested.
"Probably all full too." Homura pointed out as well.
"...Hey, we're on our phones and chatting." Makoto realized. "This is no different from when we're in Japan." She then got out with a sigh.
"Even if we're overseas, we can see all the news in Japan if we got our phones..." Ryuji got out with a frown. "It's like...this ain't what I was expectin'..." He then grumbled as he kicked away some sand.
"We should do something that's more Hawaii-like." Asuka soon suggested.
"What's...Hawaii-like?" Ryuji wondered out loud.
"Hula dancing...?" Ann suggested with a shrug.
"Oooooh! That sounds like fun!" Asuka got out with a starry look in her eyes.
"Uh-uh, I ain't down for that..." Ryuji groaned.
"...I'll give it a try as well." Akira casually stated with a nudge on his glasses.
"Seriously, dude?" Ryuji got out in slight awe.
"What? You don't like to see those big foreign girls in coconut bras and leaf skirts dancing for you?" Homura teased. "Or maybe you want us to dance for you? Watching our chests bounce all the while?" She then suggested in a joking manner.
That made the dyed blonde blush. "S-Stop teasin' me, dammit!" Ryuji called out, shaking his head as the others laughed.
"But deep down, I know you wanted to." Homura then added with a teasing smirk.
"...Shut up, Homura." Ryuji grumbled with a pout while shifting his gaze away.
"Ow, stop shoving me. I can't get a clear shot at them." A faint voice got out, audible for the tan-skinned girl to hear.
"Hm?" Homura spotted some random Shujin boys staring at them with dumb expressions and dropped jaws...and the Phan-Site Admin holding up his phone.
"Why in the world are you filming it, Mishima!?" Homura exclaimed as she noticed the phone.
"N-Nothing Homura-san!" Mishima stammered out as he put his phone away.
The tan skinned girl then stormed over to the blue haired boy. "Gimme your phone!" Homura demanded.
"U-Um...No?" Mishima hesitantly replied...
SLAP!
Before getting slapped across the face and into the sand.
"Okay, totally expected that." Mishima groaned out with a red handprint on his face as the tan skinned girl took his phone.
"Now explain to me what you were doing." Homura soon ordered in a more mature tone while deleting the video.
"Homura, I think we can just assume." Akira pointed out as he approached the scene.
"Hm?" Homura hummed out with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean?" She then asked.
"You're better off not knowing." Ryuji stated as he entered the scene as well and decided to help the admin up. "Who put you up to this anyways? That's not like you."
"That would be me~" A familiar voice to the tan skinned girl responded, causing the group to turn to see the Newspaper Club Head approaching them, cladded in a black and white striped one piece swimsuit...while holding a small notebook, a pen, and her very own phone, all on her one hand.
Homura's eye immediately twitched. "Ugh...Tomoko..." She groaned out in disapproval.
"What? It's for the forum and the paper." Tomoko replied with an innocent smile. "And why not have our lovely President and Committee Head at the center of it all." She then added before taking yet another picture using her phone.
"And provide students jerk-off material while at it." Akira couldn't help but think with a sweatdrop. "Oh wait, isn't butt-rubbing a thing-" He then began.
"Don't. Say. Anything." Homura growled as her eye twitched before looking towards the newspaper club head. "And I'm not sure everyone will approve of essentially a gravure section for the school's newspaper." She then added.
"Hey, if it can get attention to the paper again, I gotta take it." Tomoko responded in a nonchalant manner.
However at that moment...
"Yo!" A familiar male voice greeted.
"Hm?" Homura hummed out in a curious manner, turning her head to see a group of familiar faces.
From the one who called out, Chitose wore ill-fitting blue cargo shorts for the beach, while Daigo wore a gray singlet with a cat logo on it (which weirdly looked like Morgana) and dark gray swimming trunks.
Hikari was looking around as she sketched some of the scenery while wearing a solid red bikini with a frill skirt.
On the other hand, Sora was simply wearing a pair of dark blue swim trunks...though was unaware of the local women eyeing him like a piece of meat.
Meanwhile, Suzuka had a modest dark purple one piece and shorts and Ryoga had a tight fitting yellow trunks.
Naomi was wearing a black bikini with a white hoodie over it along with black flip-flops.
Satoshi simply wore a white t-shirt and red gym shorts, looking like he had no intentions to get wet...or have fun for that matter.
Ichiko had a sparkling golden bikini that could blind someone at the right angles.
Keiichiro and Emica, however, out of everyone remained in their uniforms.
"Hey, Prez!" Naomi soon greeted with a wrist flick.
"Oh, you guys are here too." Homura got out as her committee members arrived.
"Yep. Even the third and first years." Chitose replied and revealed. "Turns out they needed a lot of help for the trip." He then added.
"...Are we really lacking in teachers?" Makoto meanwhile muttered.
"There's only Kawakami-sensei and Chuno-sensei here." Ryoga responded. "Completely unprofessional..." He then stated in disapproval.
"...Oh, that's an aneurysm in the works." Akira muttered in shock and a twitching eye.
"Is that a good idea? People won't listen to people as old as them, especially on a trip." Ann pointed out.
"Guess desperation makes people do stupid things." Satoshi remarked while shrugging his shoulders. "Niijima-san, aren't you supposed to be chaperoning students rather than hanging out with your friends?" He soon reminded the Council President.
"Huh?" Makoto got out. "I-I am. There's a lot of students going to the beach right now." She then stated.
"They could also be doing it in the stalls." Hikari bluntly pointed out. "Young people are young, dumb, and full of cu-" She then quoted, however...
"I'm sure people won't do that." Keiichiro interrupted. "They've practically nailed all those sex ed presentations into our heads in middle school..." He then stated, his voice full of approval, recalling them.
"There'll be a lot of nailing tonight, I know that." Suzuka quietly remarked.
"When did this conversation become so perverse?" Emica asked with an uncomfortable look on her face.
"Where's Yui to yell at anyone for being shameless?" Homura soon asked as she looked around, noticing that the girl in mention was around.
"I dunno. I haven't seen her all day." Keiichiro responded.
"I guess she wasn't feeling up to coming to the beach today." Sora meanwhile assumed.
"Okay, well where's Hitomi?" Homura soon asked in a curious manner.
"We're...not sure." Sora answered with a frown. "Um, we actually haven't seen her since the hotel." He then admitted.
"You guys really don't keep track of each other, do you?" Ann remarked as she blinked.
"I-I'm so sorry, buchou, but-" Hikari began to apologize, however...
"No, no, not that." Homura interrupted. "I found her." She then revealed as she looked behind the group.
"Eeep!" A meek voice yelped out as someone hid back behind a palm tree.
"Hitomi, I can see you with your tree hat!" Homura called out. "Come on, you have to enjoy yourself too." She then chidded in disapproval.
"T-This is my enjoyment, senpai!" Hitomi called back, revealing the girl in mention wearing a light blue and green one piece swimsuit that went up to and covered her neck along with a frill skirt.
"...You need hobbies, Hitomi. Other than this." Homura admitted with a sweatdrop.
"Oh good, we aren't the only group with weird people in it." Akira stated.
"Yeah...Wait, what? Hey!" Asuka got out in an offended manner while pouting. "Come on...let's just do something fun together at the beach. I wanna get a tan while we're here."
"Sure, but let's make sure it doesn't turn into a sunburn first." Homura advised as she pulled out some sunscreen from cleavage and began applying it to herself and her sister.
"Aren't you two hot wearing your uniforms?" Ann eventually asked in concern.
"We have to maintain our orderly images!" Keiichiro soon declared.
"And what makes you think I can get in a swimsuit?" Emica soon questioned in a sour manner.
"E-Erm...sorry..." Ann got out in an apologetic tone.
"Man though Homura, you really are developed." Naomi noted in an impressed manner while looking closely and giving her an up-down. "Not to mention you got some deceiving muscles too." She then added.
"U-Um, thanks Naomi." Homura sheepishly got out. "Wait, you can tell I got muscles?" She then asked.
"Obviously." Naomi replied with a nod. "The other girls in your group have them too. Pretty impressive." She then complimented with a nod of approval.
"S-Stop staring at us!" Ann squeaked.
"And when did the delinquents get so buff?" Satoshi questioned as he narrowed his eyes.
"We work out." Akira got out with a shrug, ignoring the delinquent remark. "Plus, you know how much of a hard worker our new gym teacher is." He then reminded.
"Ah right, Ikki-sensei..." Satoshi soon realized, remembering how fierce her teachings were during the subject...as well as noticing some improvements in some of the other students and the lack of injuries.
"She really doesn't have an indoor voice, does she?" Ichiko muttered. "Or...any other voice other than mean..." She then added.
Homura then looked at the girl in gold. "Flashy enough, Ichiko-san?" She soon asked.
"I've barely had any decent swimsuits." Ichiko responded as she shrugged her shoulders. "This is the only two-piece that I have." She then revealed.
"It's still pretty flashy though." Ann had to admit in agreement.
"Coming from the local part-time models of Shujin." Ichiko quipped with a smirk while also glancing towards the Vice Leader.
"Are those scars on your butt?" Hikari suddenly asked in a curious manner with a raised eyebrow.
"We're going now!" Asuka panickingly announced as she grabbed her sister and fellow Leader by the hands and dragged them away.
"Oh, uh...nice seeing you all again. I'll be going now." Homura responded while being dragged away in an awkward manner.
"See ya!" Ryuji got out before going after them.
"Have fun!" Ann added as she ran off as well.
"Bye!" Makoto concluded, hoping her swimsuit would hold up during their stay here.
"Alright, see you later, buchou!" Suzuka called out before staring directly at the mangaka. "Okay, seriously Hikari, you were staring at Shirokage-san's ass?" She soon asked.
"I-I just happened to get a glance at it." Hikari stammered out while holding her sketch book over the lower half of her face.
"Come on, let's enjoy the beach already with our friends." Ichiko decided.
"..." The others owlishly stared at the rich committee member.
"..." Ichiko stared back, still expecting an answer that would not come.
"...We don't have many friends outside of the committee, do we?" Hikari soon pointed out in a flat tone.
"Not here, at least." Naomi got out with a shrug.
"Mine are back at home at another school." Ichiko admitted while shrugging her shoulders.
"Ugh..." Satoshi groaned before wandering off to get something to drink.
(9/8, Evening)
(Asuka and Homura's Hotel Room)
THUMP!
"Whew!" Asuka breathed out as she spread out on the bed. "We had a lot of fun today, Homu-neechan."
"Makoto has a serious spike..." Homura muttered as she rubbed her cheek. "Who knew a shuttlecock could hurt so much..." She then added.
"Makoto-chan is really getting stronger." Asuka declared with a smile.
"So is everyone else." Homura corrected. "I actually had to put in effort to stomp them into the ground." She then admitted.
"Are you afraid they're going to beat you eventually?" Asuka questioned.
"Hey, more rivals means more opportunities to grow stronger so I can protect others better." Homura stated, "Haaahh...it sure was a whole thing though. I think I'm going to turn in early for the night." She yawned out and decided.
"Night, Homu-neechan." Asuka got out.
"Night, Sis." Homura responded, going over and kissing her sister's head before laying down on the bed. "God these beds are so soft. We should definitely- Zzzzz..." She sighed out in satisfaction before snoring.
"You fall asleep so fast." Asuka noticed. "Jetlag?" She soon assumed as she went to get ready to sleep herself.
BZZT! BZZT!
"Eh?" Asuka got out in curious confusion as she pulled out her phone.
[TheWildJ0ker: Hey, Asuka. Open the door.]
"Why don't you just knock...?" Asuka muttered before getting up and opening the door.
"Hey." Akira greeted with a grin.
"Hey yourself." Asuka replied with a smile. "Why are you here, Akira-kun? Shouldn't you be in your room? We have a big day tomorrow." She soon asked and reminded.
"True, but I don't think I'll sleep until I take care of something first." Akira answered.
"What is it?" The Vice Leader soon got out in a curious tone.
The Leader smiled as he carefully revealed the gift from behind his back. "Happy birthday." Akira got out, lifting the gift up to the Vice Leader's face.
"You got a cake, Akira-kun!?" Asuka gasped. "Where did you find one?" She soon asked.
"Triple Seven." Akira answered as he scratched the back of his head. "It was down the road. They also have some awesome ice-cream there too. Needed to convert some yen but it was worth it. Still don't have a real present for you though..." He then revealed and admitted.
"It's okay, Akira-kun. This is enough." Asuka assured as she was handed the cake. "...Hehehe..." She suddenly giggled out.
"What are you laughing about?" The Leader got out, starting to laugh as well.
"I just...It's been a very weird couple of months, huh." Asuka responded with a small smile.
"Some would even say...bizarre." Akira chuckled. "But I'm sure your adventures before meeting the gang were just as weird." He then added.
"Not really..." Asuka admitted with a sigh. "A lot of it was just training, missions, and hanging out with my friends. Before coming here I was barely even a passable shinobi..." She then listed off and confessed.
"Huh?" Akira got out in confusion.
"I...I never told Homu-neechan this but...I was only the leader because I was related to the legendary shinobi. I was only an Elite because...they expected me to be one." Asuka admitted with a sigh. "I wasn't all that special. I was even afraid of toads for the longest time." She soon confessed and revealed. "But...When we fought at the beginning of the year, I was...faster. Stronger. Like...getting a Persona made me a better shinobi." She eventually explained.
"I think you were always that strong, Asuka. You just needed the right push." Akira replied and reassured. "I guess a life-or-death situation counts." He then added.
"Yeah. I guess." Asuka muttered. "But shinobi always teeter across the line between life and death." She then pointed out.
"Well, maybe you should take a dive into the life side." Akira suggested. "We got cookies." He jokingly added.
"Where are they? Are you hiding them from me?" Asuka soon asked in a playful and joking manner.
"I'll buy you some later." Akira replied. "Come on, Asuka. I know you're gonna kill it as a shinobi once you're back home. I never had a doubt in my mind." He then encouraged.
"And what about you?" Asuka soon asked. "What are you going to do after you go home?" She then added.
"...I'll get back to you on that." Akira responded after thinking about it.
"Akira-kun," Asuka however began, a serious expression on her face. "I believe in you. I know you'll figure something out. Don't let what happened last year stop you. Ever." She then stated and requested.
"I won't." Akira promised...before realizing the Vice Leader's boobs were pressing hard against his chest. "...We are standing too close." He soon noted.
"Erm, yeah." Asuka sheepishly replied with a blush as they both stepped back.
"Well, I hope you enjoy the cake. It's pineapple flavored with coconut shavings on it because...you know, Hawaii." Akira soon got out, blushing a little.
Asuka could only giggle and give the Leader a hug. "Thank you, Akira-kun." She responded in a grateful tone.
"Hey, I should be thanking you. You've done a lot for the team." Akira replied and reminded. "Well, I better head back to my room. Good night." He then added.
"Yeah...good night." Asuka responded before shutting the door. She then looked around the room to find a mini-fridge to store the cake in, only to remember that there wasn't one. "...Well, I guess we can eat as much as we can tonight." She muttered before looking over to her sleeping sister.
"Zzzz..." Homura lightly and softly snored while sleeping peacefully.
"Maybe tomorrow." Asuka decided. "But it wouldn't hurt to have a slice before bed." She then got out as she summoned one of her wakizashi before blinking. "Should I really be using Jii-chan's gift like this..." She muttered with a sweatdrop.
"You've done way worse with your abilities." Kaeru reminded.
"Oh yeah..." Asuka got out before shrugging and slicing the cake.
(9/9, Early Morning)
(Tokyo, Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)
"Wow, your apartment is terrible." Futaba remarked in a deadpan tone as she, Miyabi and Morgana entered.
"Compared to your room before me and Akira cleaned it?" Miyabi countered while crossing her arms over her chest.
"...Touché Big Sis, touché." Futaba responded with a pout as she shut the door behind her. "But would it kill you to at least put up a little bit of decoration?" She then questioned as she stared at the drab white walls.
"What about the giant-ass painting Yusuke gave me for my birthday?" The white haired woman pointed out as she jerked her thumb towards said painting.
"Eh...it's nice, but it doesn't exactly compliment the room." Futaba admitted and noted.
"I didn't know you were into interior design." Morgana commented.
"Everyone, like me, has an interest in interior design." Futaba stated with a proud smile. "I play Animal Crosswalk." She then added.
"I'm sure that will help you later in life." Miyabi muttered as she sat down on her couch.
"Oh, speaking of birthdays, we should probably get something for Asuka. Yesterday was her birthday." Futaba soon suggested.
"WHAT!? WE MISSED LADY ASUKA'S BIRTHDAY!?" Morgana meanwhile exclaimed in a panic. "WE GOTTA GET HER SOMETHING BEFORE SHE RETURNS!" He then declared in a passionate manner.
"What are you going to buy? You don't exactly have opposable thumbs." Futaba however reminded as she wiggled her thumbs at the not cat.
"T-These paws can do more than just scratch, I assure you." Morgana declared in a confident tone...or at least tried to.
"Huh?" Miyabi got out, perfectly unaware of Asuka's birthday. "Meh, I'll just give her money or something." She then decided.
"Big Sis, you definitely gotta get Asuka something since you're training her." Futaba soon stated.
"Hmm..." Miyabi hummed out while rubbing her chin, thinking about what to get her student...before her eyes widened. "You've been spying on us, haven't you?" She bluntly accused in disapproval.
"What? A girl's not allowed to see how everyone's doing?" Futaba countered. "I am your guardian angel in the world of cyberspace." She then declared.
"Not that literally. Cyber-specs or whatever that word is." Miyabi groaned. "My point is, you gotta stop spying on us." She concluded.
"Oh, come on. It's not that bad." Futaba assured before pulling out her phone. "Look, Akira is listening to Gun Metal Green while he showers in Hawaii. Nice bod, too." She then revealed and complemented with a grin.
"S-Stop that right now, young lady!" Miyabi ordered in a more sisterly tone as she tried to grab her phone.
"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!" Futaba declared as she ran off...before almost instantly dropping to her knees and panting in a puddle of sweat. "O-Okay! I give up! Just don't hurt my precious!" She pleaded.
"You gave up way too quick." Morgana deadpanned.
"I was never going to win in a physical battle." Futaba admitted.
Morgana in turn sighed upon hearing that. "Why are we here, anyways?" He soon asked.
"I was going to try and give some very basic training, but that doesn't seem likely." Miyabi sighed out as the orangette laid down on her futon.
"...It's too early to train..." Futaba got out. "Ugh...Recover energy...then find a gift for Asuka." She then decided.
"What would Asuka like, anyways?" Miyabi soon asked.
"Well..." Futaba began.
"Futaba, don't snoop around Asuka's...everything." Miyabi soon ordered.
"Actually, there is a thing online we can use to determine what a person like Asuka would want." Futaba simply revealed.
"Futaba, we are not relying on a computer to do our dirty work." Morgana sighed.
"Do you have a present then?" Futaba countered.
"...Okay, only this once." Morgana relented with a groan.
"Alright." Futaba got out with a fist pump before tapping away at her phone. "Pulling up the website...inputting Asuka details and personality traits...and..." She then muttered before stopping.
"Futaba?" Morgana called. "Is something wrong?" He soon asked.
"H-Hold on..." Futaba got out as she rapidly scrolled down. "Holy crap, why does it keep going!?" She soon exclaimed in disbelief.
"Okay, I have to see this." Miyabi sighed as she went over and looked over the hacker's shoulder. "...Futaba Sakura, why is it just listings for sex toys?" She questioned in a dangerously slow manner.
"It's what the website spat out! I'm trying to find something not perverted here!" Futaba called out as she scrolled even faster, her face going red all the while...while her nose began bleeding a little too.
Miyabi in response just sighed. She was just going to stick with what she had in mind for her student.
(9/9, Daytime)
(Hawaii, Hotel)
"You ate all that cake by yourselves?" Ann got out in an incredulous tone.
"It was going to spoil in this heat, even with the A/C on..." Asuka groaned. Maybe she shouldn't have eaten so fast before they had to go out.
"It was...good. A little chemically though." Homura admitted as she wiped the sweat off her brow.
"So many calories..." Akira remarked. He was kinda hoping they'd share it later.
"We burned that off just by running over here." Asuka revealed.
"Don't you mean appearing in front of us and making Ryuji spill his drink." Akira reminded in amusement.
"You owe me a soda, by the way!" Ryuji called out.
"It takes a lot of energy to be us." Homura casually responded as her sister nodded in agreement.
"And a lot of fat." Makoto muttered as she began to glance downwards at the shinobi's chests.
"Yeah..." Ann also breathed out as she did the same.
"Hey, ladies, their eyes are up here." The Leader got out, snapping Makoto and Ann out of their trances.
"Man, I gotta effin' change..." The dyed blond grumbled as he wiped off his wet shirt a little.
"Regretting not bringing more clothes, Ryuji?" Homura quipped as her sister giggled.
"Hey, I still have my clothes from yesterday and they're fine smellin'." Ryuji got out. "It'll be fine..." He then sighed out.
"You don't sound as excited as yesterday." Ann noticed.
"Man, it's nothing but Japanese people 'round here." The dyed blond complained. "Thought we were gonna be gettin' alohas comin' from all directions and stuff!"
"It costs money to enjoy that atmosphere, you know. There's not much we can do as students." Ann pointed out.
"I guess it's the same no matter where we go..." Makoto groaned, looking a little downtrodden.
"What's with the low energy, Makoto?" Homura asked in concern.
"I just had to listen to the taxi driver complain for thirty minutes straight." Makoto answered with a frown. "I'm used to dealing with students' troubles, but I never expected to have to do it overseas as well..." She then confessed before trailing off.
"That must have sucked..." Ann sighed.
"What were they complaining about?" Asuka got out in a curious tone.
"How ungrateful teenagers are for what their generation did for them." Makoto answered in a tired manner.
"Yeah. Wars, poverty and widespread corruption. Go adults." Akira sarcastically grumbled under his breath.
"We should be doin' some more excitin' stuff!" Ryuji suddenly called out in a passionate tone. "I mean, we're in freakin' Hawaii for god's sake! Isn't the school supposed to plan stuff? I wanna go divin'!" He then whined.
"It seems there wasn't enough time to come up with any kind of coordinated travel plan." Makoto soon explained with a sigh.
"So...there's literally nothing organized for us to do between lectures?" Homura deadpanned. "No tours, no special events, just food and the beach." She concluded.
"It's that lack of coordination is what led them to using students and the disciplinary committee as chaperones." Makoto pointed out.
"By the way, Akira..." Ryuji began, deciding to focus on something else that wouldn't make him frustrated. "You're roomin' with Mishima, right? How is it? Anythin' interestin'?" He soon asked.
"Eh, we talked about some stuff." Akira got out while putting his hands in his pockets. "It was mostly about the Phantom Thieves though. I kinda don't wanna think about it while we're here." He then revealed and confessed.
"Really? Mishima-kun is the one who made the Phan-Site, correct?" Makoto remembered.
"Phan-Site..." Ryuji repeated under his breath. "Y'know, I do hear people talkin' about the Phantom Thieves every so often..." He then recalled.
"What? The locals?" Asuka guessed.
"Are they really mentioning us...?" Makoto got out with widened eyes.
"I think so! We've already made our international debut!" Ryuji cheered out. "Man, just talkin' about that makes me wanna go back to Japan so bad!" He then declared.
"You really have no chill." Ann muttered with a sigh.
"Ryuji-kun, we've been working for several months now." Asuka however reminded with her hands on her hips. "We deserve to relax a little and not think about our next move until we get back." She then stated.
"Come on, let's try and forget about those things for now." Makoto encouraged.
"But people are expectin' us to fix society! We don't got no time to relax!" Ryuji called out in a determined manner.
"Uh..." Akira got out as everyone else stared at two very familiar people standing right behind them, silently listening to the conversation.
"We need people to know that the Phantom Thieves are always gonna save anyone, anywhere. Come on, if we try now, we can find a target here and take their Treasure before we have to go back!" Ryuji then declared.
"R-Ryuji-kun..." Asuka got out as she rubbed her eyes.
"What? What is it?" The dyed blond got out in confusion.
"Guys...have I finally snapped or are Yumi-senpai and Yusuke actually standing right behind you?" Homura suddenly spoke up.
"No, you're not." Ryuji replied right away before he noticed the two Kosei students over his shoulder. "Oh hey there, Yusuke. What's up, Yum–wait, w-what the hell!?" He then exclaimed as the tan skinned girl face palmed.
"Hello." Yusuke greeted without much fanfare.
"I...did not expect we'd be staying in the same hotel." Yumi confessed with a smile.
"Yumi-chan. Yusuke-kun. Why are you in Hawaii?" Asuka slowly got out, the gears visibly turning in her head. "I mean, it's good to see you but..." She then added but trailed off at the end.
"They're supposed to be traveling to Los Angeles, right?" Akira stated to himself.
"What the hell happened?" Homura soon asked the obvious question.
"Our flight was grounded here due to a terrible storm forming on the west coast." Yumi sighed out.
"So our excursion will be spent here instead of Los Angeles." Yusuke soon revealed.
"...Do you just bring rain wherever you go!?" Ryuji groaned.
"Could it be that what happened at the fireworks festival was their fault as well...?" Makoto wondered.
"I believe it was just a coincidence..." Yumi responded, although she sounded unsure herself as she looked at her friend.
"Just don't go bringing any storms here, you got that?" Ann soon requested.
"I'll do my best." Yusuke replied in a somewhat awkward manner.
"S-Sure, same goes for me..." Yumi responded with a blush.
"By the way, there's nothing planned after this. What are you all going to do?" Makoto soon questioned.
"Uh...Oh yeah, I still gotta buy souvenirs. My mom asked me to grab some stuff for her." Ryuji remembered.
"I totally forgot about that! We need to pick things up for Futaba and Morgana too." Ann gasped.
"I was hoping to do some shopping myself." Makoto soon admitted.
"Yeah! I wanna get some gifts for my friends back in Hanzō!" Asuka got out in excitement.
"Then it's settled. I wonder what Morgana would want..." Ann replied and asked in a curious manner.
"I wouldn't know actually. The only thing I can think of is fish and we are definitely not getting any on the plane back." Asuka responded with a frown. "Maybe...scented candles...?" She soon suggested.
"Maybe something involving grooming?" Makoto meanwhile offered. "Is there anything like that in a gift shop?" She then wondered in a curious manner.
"Gift...? Oh yes, I apologize for missing your birthday yesterday, Asuka-san." Yumi soon repeated and apologized. "I'm sorry, I don't have anything prepared, but I can plan something." She then added.
"I never told you my birthday..." Asuka recalled as she blinked a couple of times. "Homu-neechan...?" She soon asked, only to see her sister sheepishly rub the back of her head.
"Would you like tickets or backstage passes to my next concert when we return to Tokyo?" Yumi soon offered with an innocent smile.
"Can't you just say she's with you?" Ryuji questioned. "Like, rockstars do it all the effin' time right?" He then added.
"I wouldn't have enough time to escort Asuka-san personally." Yumi revealed. "There's still a lot of work done right before the opening acts of a concert." She then informed.
"Hmmm...make it a double and I'll accept." Asuka soon requested after thinking about it.
"Going with Homura?" Yusuke assumed.
"Maybe. I might want to go with someone else after all. Katsu-nee, Hibari-chan, Yagyu-chan..." Asuka replied and listed off a few people. "Although, I can also buy anyone else I want to come with a ticket..." She then added.
"How about if I just give you as many backstage passes as you wish for one night?" Yumi soon offered.
"Ooh! That sounds great!" Asuka responded with a starry look in her eyes.
"Very well, I will organize that as soon as we're back home." Yumi replied and stated with a nod. "But please don't ask for 50 passes. I will not abuse my status as an idol to give all my friends free stuff." She then requested and explained.
"So no free t-shirts?" Akira got out.
"People need to be paid, Phantom." Yumi responded in a deadpan tone.
"...You got a point there, Yuki Yumi." Akira muttered as he rubbed the back of his neck as everyone began to laugh…except for the dyed blond.
"Even in another country, our group is still the same as always..." Ryuji groaned in a saddened manner.
"Ha, you think, Ryuji?" Homura got out with a giggle. "It really is good to see you here, Yumi-senpai." She confessed with a smile.
"You too, Homura-san." Yumi replied with a smile of her own as she took the tan skinned girl's hand. "Now, can we please go and get some souvenirs for our friends back home?" She soon requested.
"And maybe some food too. I'm starving..." Ryuji added as he rubbed his stomach.
"I hope you haven't blown all that Mementos money." Akira got out as the group of Thieves headed off.
(Hawaii, Shopping Area)
The Thieves had gone to get something to eat first, however, they quickly found something that followed all the way here.
"I can't escape...I can't escape even several thousand kilometers away from Japan..." Homura whimpered while staring at the familiar restaurant in disbelief and a twitching eye.
"There, there. It's alright, Homu-neechan, we can go somewhere else..." Asuka softly reassured.
"Still, I didn't realize Big Bang Burger was in Hawaii too." Ann remarked, blinking at the fast food chain. It was fairly popular, with a line of people waiting to order.
"Yeah, it's been gettin' real popular in Japan lately. I guess they wanted to branch out." Ryuji assumed.
"Now that you mention it, I read a news article recently about the success of Okumura Foods." Makoto remembered.
"Ah yes, the company that owns Big Bang Burger." Yusuke informed with a nod.
"Okumura...? Ain't that the guy who's at the top of the Phan-Site rankings?" Ryuji repeated and recalled.
"What?" Homura got out, snapping out of her wallowing and perking up at the thought.
"I haven't checked it in a while..." Asuka muttered with a frown.
"Is that true?" Makoto questioned.
"I guarantee it. I don't make mistakes about that kinda stuff." Ryuji insisted in a serious tone.
"I mean, we can check the rankings right now." Yumi pointed out as she pulled out her phone.
"Yumi, should you be going out so...exposed like this?" Akira asked in concern.
"My single hasn't reached the States yet. That's a whole other nightmare from what I hear." Yumi revealed and informed. "It's nice not to be recognised again." She then confessed.
"Doesn't stop all the staring though..." Ann muttered as she saw bypassers getting a good look at them, with some of them earning a response from their significant others, most often violent.
"Have these people not seen boobs before?" Homura sighed out.
"They probably have. Just not yours." Yusuke responded.
"Aw, shut up." the tan skinned girl grumbled as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"You're right, Ryuji." Yumi got out as she looked at the name currently on top of the polls. "Kunizaku Okumura." She read out.
"Hm? What's the matter?" Yusuke spoke up as he turned to the frowning president.
"Oh, it's probably nothing. Just a rumor I heard about Okumura Foods..." Makoto began with a frown. "Supposedly...all of their overseas competition have mysteriously pulled out of Japan entirely." She soon revealed.
"Really? All overseas chains?" Asuka got out in surprise before thinking about it. "You know, now that you mention it, I can't think of the last time I've seen a foreign fast food franchise around Tokyo." She realized.
"Never mind. I'm surely just overthinking things. Sis' habits seem to be rubbing off on me." Makoto sighed as she shook her head.
"Hey, why don't we take a pic together!? Y'know so we can remember the trip and all!" Ryuji suddenly suggested.
"Ooh! We definitely have to take a lot of pictures while we're here!" Asuka got out with a fist pump.
"I can take the photo." Akira offered as he raised his phone up. "Just line up over there." He then instructed as he broke away from the group.
"Are you sure you don't wanna be in it?" Makoto got out in concern.
"It'll be fine." The Leader responded with a nod as he began stepping backwards to get everyone in the shot.
"Thanks, Akira." Makoto replied as the group got into position.
"I only ask that you ensure the composition is well-balanced." Yusuke requested.
"Yusuke. Really?" Homura deadpanned.
"Can you not worry about that stuff for one second?" Ann sighed out.
"He always thinks of art, even outside of Japan." Yumi also let out a long suffering sigh.
"Go for it, Akira." Ryuji soon responded as he posed, with the others doing so as well.
"Alright, if everyone's ready..." Akira prepared as he took out his phone and aimed the camera at his friends. "Smile!" He then got out.
CLICK!
"Alright, it turned out pretty good." Akira announced with a satisfied smile.
"Let me see!" Asuka soon requested in excitement as she approached their Leader and looked at his phone. "Wow, that looks really great!" She soon complimented.
"Thanks." Akira got out. "You wanna take some pics somewhere else, just say the word." He then added.
"We still have some time to spare, right? Where to next?" Ann soon asked.
"There's a convenience store down by the beach. How 'bout there?" Ryuji suggested.
"That sounds lovely. I would quite like a short rest." Yumi responded.
"All right, let's head over there." Akira decided with a nod.
(Hawaii, Beach)
"Don't you think the food 'round here is kinda salty?" Ryuji muttered as he took a swig of his drink.
"Yeah. I've noticed it." Ann replied with a nod.
"Hai. I heard a rumor that Americans make stuff salty so you buy drinks too." Yumi informed. "I would say it is a clever business strategy, but it's quite..." She then began before trailing off.
"Exploitive?" Akira guessed.
In turn, Yumi nodded. "Hai." She responded.
Suddenly, the ash blonde patted down her pockets in a slightly frantic manner. "Oh, shoot! I forgot my sunscreen..." Ann realized. "I'm going to go buy another bottle at the convenience store." She then decided.
"I'll go with you." Makoto offered as the two headed out.
"You're not going with them?" Akira got out as he glanced over to the shinobi.
"Nah. I have my bottle right here." Homura replied as they all pulled out small sunscreen bottles from the cleavage. "...Wait, why didn't we just share ours with Ann?" She suddenly realized.
"She left before the offer could be made." Yumi responded.
"We can still catch up to them." Asuka pointed out. "Save Ann-chan a little money." She then added.
"We could...but I'm still digesting lunch. I'd rather not run on a full stomach." Akira admitted.
"I guess we will need to wait for them to come back." Yusuke got out as they began to wait for their friends.
However, after a few minutes, Makoto and Ann still hadn't returned. "I'm so bored..." Ryuji complained with a groan. "By the way, you think we're the thieves everyone here's been goin' on about? It'd be pretty freakin' crazy if that was true, huh?" He then got out in an excited manner.
"That would be amazing." Akira admitted.
"We did hear that the Phantom Thieves are making waves around the globe..." Asuka remembered.
"Hm... I had not heard of such rumors. It sounds wonderful." Yusuke admitted before looking around. "We are already here, so why don't we confirm if that is the case?"
"Oh! Good idea! Let's try askin' around while we wait for Ann and Makoto!" Ryuji declared.
"I am curious to the extent to which people are discussing us..." Yusuke confessed.
"Well...it wouldn't hurt to do some reconnaissance, get some foreigner opinions on us." Yumi got out as she rubbed the back of her neck.
"Are we sure we have enough time?" Yusuke spoon questioned.
"Hey, it's not like we're going to be doing anything for the next few minutes." Homura pointed out with a sigh.
"Alright!" Ryuji responded as he pumped a fist. "Let's try startin' a convo with some ladies around here about the Phantom Thieves." He then decided
"Goddammit, Ryuji." Homura grumbled as she face palmed. "Is this entire thing just an excuse to hit on girls around here?" She soon muttered the accusation.
"What? No, no, no. Just uh...they were nearby." Ryuji responded in denial.
"Sure, buddy. Why don't you ask them first if they know what the Phantom Thieves are?" Homura suggested as she pushed the dyed blond towards the girl.
"A-Aw come on." Ryuji grumbled before nervously approaching the first woman he saw. "U-Uh...hello, woman!" He greeted with a smile.
"Huh?" The dark skinned, bikini-clad woman got out in confusion.
"Do you know Phantom Thieves?" Ryuji asked in English.
"Phantom Thieves? I've never heard of them." The Cheerful Woman responded. "You kids are from Japan, right? Are these Phantom Thieves special people like samurai or geisha?" She soon assumed.
"Hm, I suppose that understanding isn't necessarily incorrect for someone from a foreign country..." Yusuke remarked.
"How are we samurai?" Homura got out in a curious tone.
"And I don't understand why we're being compared to geisha..." Asuka admitted.
"Let's go ask around some more." Yumi suggested as they headed off to find anyone else willing to talk to them.
"Phantom Thieves?" Akira got out with a raised eyebrow as they approached a man with a relaxed smile on his face.
"The Phantom Thieves? Oh, the ones from Japan?" The Easygoing Man got out.
"Oooooh!" Ryuji got out in an excited tone as he rubbed his hand together.
"I read about them in a news article recently. What of it?" The man soon added before questioning.
"...Does anyone know enough English to follow that up?" Homura soon asked as she turned to the others.
"Ah...we just wanted to know. Have a good day." Yumi responded, wincing at her English pronunciation. Still, it worked as the man nodded to that before allowing the Thieves to walk away.
"Yumi, that was pretty decent." Akira got out in an impressed tone.
"I did study some English at school." Yumi informed. "Shiki-san meanwhile was learning French from Ojii-sama." She then revealed.
"Huh? Why French?" Ryuji asked in confusion.
"I...need to ask her that question the next time I see her." Yumi muttered.
"Maybe he wanted to spread the way of the shinobi to Paris?" Akira assumed.
"It's hard to say." Yumi responded. "Not like I can ask him anymore..." She then muttered in sadness.
"Uh...I'll take the next person." Asuka quickly spoke up as she approached another man...standing in the same pose as the last guy.
"Hello, mister-san. Uh...do you know what the Phantom Thieves are?" Asuka asked in English, wincing at how slow she went with that question.
"Oh, I've heard of the Phantom Thieves. In fact, I'm a huge fan of them!" The Happy Man admitted. "It's so awesome how they kick the bad guys' asses! I wonder how they steal hearts..." He then confessed and stated in a curious manner.
" ...He actually seems to be quite knowledgeable." Yusuke remarked.
"Damn, it's crazy how many people know about us! This is freakin' awesome!" Ryuji cheered with a fist pump.
"We're a global phenomenon." Homura stated.
"Well, not exactly. Not unless there are people with PT shirts wandering around." Akira noted.
"Uh...you might want to look." Yumi however pointed out as she saw a college-aged man in a red Phantom Thieves shirt pass by them.
"Dude, where did you get that?"
"I imported it from Japan. The shipping fees cost me my rent, but it's so worth it!"
"...Son of a bitch." The Leader muttered in disbelief.
"Ask and ye shall receive." Homura and Yumi stated at the same time in amusement, causing the Leader to pout.
"Huh?" Ryuji suddenly got out, noticing something nearby sitting on a bench in the shade. "Oh, hey! Isn't that Asuka's friend? The uh...the girl with the watering can." He tried to remember.
"I'm surprised you can recognise her without the watering can." Homura sarcastically admitted, making the dyed blond roll his eyes in exasperation.
"Hm? Oh! Haru-chan!" Asuka called out as she ran up to her friend.
"Oh! Asu-chan!" Haru gasped as the rest of the Thieves approached her location. "M-My, you have quite a lot of friends, don't you." She soon noted in awe.
"Yep. Meet Haru-chan, everyone." Asuka introduced as she stepped aside.
"Yo." Ryuji greeted with a peace sign.
"Good day." Yumi politely greeted.
"Hello." Homura got out with a bow.
"Hi." Yusuke nodded and waved.
"Hey there." Akira did a quick two finger salute.
"Pleased to meet you all." Haru got out with a pleasant smile before checking the time on her phone. Homura quickly noted how terrible it looked, with a cracked glass all over it. "Free time is almost up. Shouldn't you be heading back soon?" She then noted and asked.
"Yeah. We're going back soon. We're just waiting for our friends." Asuka replied before looking around. "Where are you friends, Haru-chan?" She soon asked in a curious tone.
"...They're...back in Japan..." Haru simply answered as she looked away.
"Oh..." Asuka got out, feeling a little awkward. "So...who are you rooming with?" She then continued.
"Kawakami-sensei." Haru answered automatically.
"No one from your class?" Akira assumed.
"It's only me." Haru informed. "There were an odd number of students on this trip." She then revealed.
"Damn, that must've sucked." Ryuji got out in a sympathetic tone.
"Yes. It does indeed...suck." Haru agreed, blushing a little more at such vulgar language. "Ah, I sounded like Katsu-chan for a moment." She thought to herself in embarrassment. "But I'm enjoying myself regardless. No need to go out of your way to spend time with me." She then assured out loud this time.
"Where do you go, anyways? I barely see you around school, and you practically disappear once you leave." Asuka soon asked.
"Yeah. You'd think I'd recognise someone like you." Ryuji muttered with a frown.
"L-Like me?" Haru repeated, a dust of pink on her cheeks.
"Yeah." Akira got out. "Your hair is really floofy..." He then muttered.
"It is aesthetically pleasing..." Yusuke admitted in approval.
Haru could only blush as she instinctively attempted to smooth out her hair. "W-Well, I have a few...responsibilities." She soon explained.
"Oh, you got a job?" Ryuji assumed.
"No, more like...a need to attend certain events." Haru vaguely corrected, her gaze shifting away from the dyed blond.
"Eh?" Akira got out with a frown. Why did he feel like she was avoiding something?
"It doesn't matter. My life isn't that exciting outside of school." Haru soon confessed as she shook her head.
"Okay. Well, if we have some time before we leave, maybe we can walk around together." Asuka suggested. "And if we can't, maybe hang around town once we head back home." She then offered.
"Um...I wouldn't suggest that." Haru replied as she shook her head. "I don't quite have that much free time." She then admitted.
"O-Oh...I see..." Asuka got out in a sad manner. "But at least let's talk more on the rooftop at school. I want to garden a little more." She then requested.
In turn, Haru nodded. "Of course Asu-chan." She replied. "Oh, look at the time. I need to start heading back. I suggest you all do the same." She then got out before getting up.
"Hai. I'll see you around, Haru-chan! It was nice seeing you!" Asuka responded with a bright grin while the fluffy haired girl could only giggle softly before she started making her way back to the hotel.
"She seems a little gloomy today..." Yumi noticed in concern.
"Yeah..." Homura hummed with a frown. What was up with this girl...?
"...Ah, shit! We forgot to ask her 'bout the Phantom Thieves!" Ryuji suddenly realized before palming his face.
"Seriously. You're still hung up on hitting on her with your secret identity?" Homura deadpanned. "It's secret for a reason!" She then called out.
"Hey, we're back." Ann called out as she and the brunette walked towards the group, bottles of sunscreen in hand. "Sorry, were you waiting long?" She then got out in an apologetic tone.
"We found a way to fill time." Akira answered as the Shujin Council President noticed the fluffy-haired girl walking away.
"Hm, that girl you were talking to just now... Do you know her?" Makoto asked in a curious tone.
"Yeah. That's Haru-chan." Asuka informed. "She's a third-year like you, Makoto-chan. Do you know anything about her?" She then added.
"I've never really spoken to her. I barely even see her after classes." Makoto informed with a frown before checking the time. "Ah, it looks like our free time is over. Let's head back to the hotel." She soon informed.
"Back to the boring stuff..." Homura groaned as they began making their way back to the hotel.
(9/9, Afternoon)
(Hawaii, Hotel Entrance)
Akira and his friends were currently walking across the sidewalk of the hotel close to the beach, with the tan skinned girl at the front leading them somewhere. She told them to accompany her for some reason, in which they all agreed to it.
"Uh, Homura, where are we going exactly?" Ann eventually asked.
"To meet with one of my committee members." Homura responded. "Just checking her condition and see if she's still fine." She then explained.
"Oh, is she-?" Ryuji began to guess.
"Yeah, the one we met in Mementos." Homura confirmed with a nod.
"Yui Kotegawa." Akira mumbled in his thoughts. "Wonder how she's doing now that we changed her heart." He then added.
"Hopefully she has snapped out of how she previously acted." Makoto stated, getting nods of agreement from the others.
"Do you even know where she is?" Yumi questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Hitomi said she'd be at the beach." Homura recalled before sweatdropping. "Well, I think. Actually, it was the only word she managed to say before she popped a nosebleed and needed to go to the infirmary." She then remembered in an awkward manner.
"How did you manage that?" Ann however asked.
The tan skinned girl however raised an eyebrow in response. "What do you mean by that? What makes you think I caused it?" Homura questioned in an accusing manner.
"She had a tree hat to spy from a distance." Akira reminded in a flat tone.
"She's really shy." Homura responded as the Shujin Student Council President nodded in agreement.
"I think you're confusing it with the term stalker..." Yusuke however got out.
"You're comparing her to Futaba spying on all of us through our phones?" Homura however accused.
"Yes." The young artist bluntly responded.
"She's been what now?" Yumi however asked with widened eyes.
BZZT! BZZT!
Immediately, the group took out their phones.
[Alibaba9: I take offense to that, Inari.]
[Alibaba9: I prefer Phantom Thieves Spymaster: Agent Double-O Oracle.]
"Case and point." Homura deadpanned as she noticed the text.
"OOracle? With the double O's?" Akira couldn't help but laugh at that.
"Also, we did not mention Futaba at all there. What made you think Yusuke was comparing her to Hitomi?" Ryuji pointed out then questioned.
"They both like to watch others from a distance." Homura simply answered.
"There's also a word for that: stalking." Ann spoke up. "I thought you'd know the definition." She then added.
"Hitomi is still a good girl and has been doing a good job as Homura's assistant." Makoto however stated.
"T-That doesn't mean it isn't stalking." Ann insisted. "And we never said it was a bad thing. It's just that she's stalking. Stalking can be good. Stalking can get info from people. Stalking can save people if you think they're in danger. But I think you're letting her off a little lightly because she's a cute little girl. I mean, what if she was 25 years older and a guy?" She then pointed out.
"...I think the word just lost all meaning." Makoto sighed out. "Let's just leave it as spying." She then concluded with no room for talking back.
"...Is that any better?" Ryuji soon asked.
"Oh, don't you start." The tan skinned girl growled.
Eventually, Homura noticed someone who had long, black hair and was wearing the Shujin summer uniform, waiting in front of a souvenir shop.
"There you are." Homura muttered in relief. "Oi! Yui!" She soon called out.
Yui turned to where her name was called. "Hm? Ah, Homura-san! You're here." She got out as she noticed her fellow committee member before noticing a group of people behind her. "And...you've brought people with you." She then noted.
"They're my friends, basically." Homura responded. "How are you doing?" She soon asked.
"I'm fine, everything seems to be fine at the moment." Yui replied with a nod before she then noticed and recognized two of the boys. "Oh...you two." She got out as he noticed the dyed blonde and the one with a criminal record.
"Um...hey?" Ryuji hesitantly greeted her.
"Yui...Kotegawa-san, right?" Akira assumed while adjusting his glasses.
"Huh, I'm...actually surprised you know my name, despite this being our first time meeting face to face." The long-haired ravenette uttered out with crossed arms and a firm stance.
"Homura here spoke highly about you." Akira simply responded.
To that, Yui nodded. "I see, so you know about me from her." She noted.
"Also, people were talking about you on the plane ride here." Akira added with a frown as the girl winced. "How are you?" He then questioned.
In response, the ravenette blinked. "Y-You don't think ill of me?" Yui asked in disbelief.
"...Honestly, not really." Akira responded. "Just so you know, I'm not afraid to fight back." He then revealed.
"Hm...and I will expect you to do so in self defense." Yui replied.
"If you cross the line, that is." Akira added.
"Understood." Yui responded with a nod after a sigh. "As for you, the one with the blond hair, I hope you're not getting into any trouble here in Hawaii." She soon advised.
"You kiddin'? With Homura around, I wouldn't be able to if I wanted to." Ryuji countered.
"That's what I'm here for." Homura remarked in amusement.
"And of course, I'm also here to help her in maintaining order around these parts." Makoto got out.
"Oh, Niijima-senpai." Yui got out as she finally noticed their school's student council president. "I'm...quite surprised you're friends with the blond here and the one with glasses. They have quite a reputation in our school, you know?" She then reminded.
"They...helped me out a while back and we just happened to click." Makoto vaguely revealed in a grateful tone.
In turn, Yui could see the genuine expression of the student council president as she couldn't help but smile herself. "I see. I understand." She responded with a nod. "Friends...they can really be helpful." She then confessed.
"Exactly." Ann declared with a playful wink. "And trust me, stress can get to anyone, especially if they have to deal with the paranoia of perverts." She soon added.
"P-Perverts?" Yui stammered with a blush as she stared at the ash blonde. "W-Well...yeah...I did have to deal with a lot of perversity back at my old school before transferring to Shujin..." She then confessed. The majority of the male student body back in her previous school clearly had no restraints whatsoever, not even a sense of dignity to be found among them. Not to mention...their sorry excuse of a principal.
"Was your old school really that bad, Yui-chan?" Asuka innocently asked.
To that, the ravenette sighed. "You have no idea..." Yui vaguely responded as she then gained a more distracted expression.
In turn, Homura couldn't help but notice her fellow committee member feeling not by herself today. "Yui. Is everything going alright?" She soon asked in concern.
Yui immediately regained her focus to the question, but jumped a bit. "For the moment, yes." She responded with a nod, though still slightly uncomfortable.
Homura however wasn't buying it. "Yui, what's wrong?" She questioned once more.
"H-He um..." Yui began stuttering out with a pink blush on her face. "I don't know how this keeps happening." She then got out.
"What are you-" Homura began before stopping as it hit her. "Wait, Yusuke and Yumi-senpai are here...so that means..." She then began in realization.
"Yui-chan! I knew you would be here!" A bubbly voice called out, causing the group to turn to see a pink-haired girl in the summer Kosei uniform running over to them.
"Lala! Hold up!" An orange-brown spiky haired boy in the Kosei male summer uniform called out as he followed behind.
"Ah, Rito-san, Lala-san, it has been a while." Homura noted with a hand on her hips.
"Hm? Ah! Homura-chan! Long time no see!" Lala happily declared with a smile.
"It really has been a while." Rito admitted with a nod of agreement.
"It has indeed." Homura responded with a nod of agreement.
"Yūki-kun..." Yui trailed off, noticing the spiky-haired boy.
"...Wow, her hair's pinker than Hibari-chan's..." Ann and Asuka got out at the same time as she noticed the pinkette.
"Huh, she seems like a nice person." Makoto noted before looking towards the brown haired boy. "Him too." She then added in approval.
"...Is she a shinobi?" Ryuji meanwhile thought, noticing the bust before shaking his head. "Nah, couldn't be. Yumi would've noticed." He then mentally decided.
"So Rito-san, still getting into tripping accidents?" Homura jokingly asked with a smirk, causing the boy in question to blush scarlet.
"Tripping accidents?" Akira repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Huh?" Ann got out in confusion.
The brown haired boy however flinched in response. "Y-You know that was an accident that time Homura-san!" Rito panickingly reminded before glancing to the other committee member and blushed even more.
"Don't worry, I believe you." Homura reassured with a decent smile.
"H-Huh? Really?" Rito responded in a surprised manner, getting a nod in response from the tan skinned girl.
The pinkette meanwhile smiled happily in response. "Rito's not that kind of person, you guys." Lala soon stated with a giggle.
"Ok, even I can tell he's not like that." Ann admitted with a hand on her hip. "He doesn't look like he can hurt a fly." She then added.
"Eheheheh..." Rito awkwardly chuckled out while rubbing the back of his head...though also felt offended by that.
"And if they are accidents, they are clearly not at fault." Makoto soon stated as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Yeah, about that, guys." Homura began, getting the attention of the others. "Rito-san here's...actually something else." She vaguely revealed in an awkward manner.
"Huh?" Asuka and Ann got out in confusion.
"Can you elaborate more on that?" Akira asked.
"What do you mean, Homura-san?" Makoto meanwhile asked.
"Eh?" Ryuji simply got out.
"I see, you're referring to that." Yusuke suddenly assumed, confusing the others that didn't know.
"Ah, you were a witness as well?" Yumi however questioned.
"Yes, surprisingly." Homura responded with a nod. "I can only imagine how many times he has been to the nurse's office due to misunderstandings. All because of violent young women." She then added.
"Many times, Homura-san. Many many times." Yumi confirmed with a nod.
Yui meanwhile nodded as she blushed scarlet.
"Huh? For real?" Ryuji got out, now realizing that information.
Rito simply placed a hand behind his head while having a contemplating look on his face.
"Uh, guys?" Akira suddenly started. "Is it just me or does this girl here actually have a tail?" He soon asked as he noticed the pinkette's actual moving tail.
"...Wait, what?" Ryuji got out in confusion.
"Ah! I-It's just tail accessories that she and her sisters like to wear! That's all!" Rito panickingly explained.
"Y-Yeah, just accessories!" Yui meanwhile got out in panicked agreement.
Homura meanwhile blinked in confusion at this reaction. "Yui?" She thought in confusion.
"And the teachers at your school allowed these kinds of accessories during classes." Ann soon asked.
"Surprisingly, they did." Yumi revealed.
"I can wholly agree with that as well." Yusuke responded in agreement.
"That's honestly surprising." Akira admitted, blinking upon learning this.
"What kind of school does that, dude?" Ryuji muttered to himself while scratching his head.
"Not Shujin?" Homura guessed while shrugging her shoulders.
Asuka soon enough smiled as she offered a hand. "It's nice to meet you both, Lala-chan, Rito-san. I'm Asuka Shirokage, 2nd Year at Shujin Academy." She happily replied and introduced herself.
"Hey, Asuka-chan!" The pinkette happily replied. "I'm Lala Satalin Deviluke, nice to meet one of Homura-chan's friends!" She then introduced herself and greeted.
"Deviluke?" Akira repeated with a raised eyebrow. "That's...not a Japanese name." He then noted.
"Hai, apparently, she had transferred from another school before attending Sainan High School." Yumi responded with a nod.
"Huh, so she's from out of the country like Ann then." Ryuji simply assumed.
"You can say that, hehe~" Lala agreed with a small sweatdrop.
This however just confused the group as a whole as they raised their eyebrows in response.
"I-In any case, I'm Rito Yūki." The boy meanwhile greeted in a sheepish and awkward manner.
The Shujin Student Council President meanwhile nodded. "As Asuka said herself, it's nice to meet you both." Makoto replied with a smile of her own. "I am the Shujin Academy Student Council President, Makoto Niijima." She then introduced herself.
"Akira Kurusu." The Leader simply greeted with a wave.
"Name's Ryuji Sakamoto." The dyed blonde introduced with a salute.
"I'm Ann, by the way. Ann Takamaki." The ash blonde responded.
"It's good to meet you all." Rito replied with a nod.
"Me too!" Lala happily agreed with a smile with her tail swaying.
Akira however secretly took the chance to use Third Eye to do a double check by covering his eyes slightly before activating the ability.
Homura noticed the action and also did the same with her own Third Eye. Why didn't she use this before when she first met the pinkette?
"...What the crap?" The two Third Eye users thought in disbelief at the sight.
The tail was no accessory at all. It was actually connected to her lower back, including the fact that it was moving like it's a part of her. Though they would be keeping this to themselves for now.
"I can't believe you know Yumi-chan here too, Homura-chan!" Lala soon got out. "Wow! You really get around!" She then added in an impressed tone.
"As active as always, Lala-san." Yumi noted with a sigh of amusement.
"Wait, sisters?" Makoto however repeated, finally realizing part of what was said before.
However at that moment...
"There you are, Ane-ue!" A cheeky, high pitched female voice called out, gaining the attention of the group, soon turning to see another group consisting of all women along with one guy approaching their group.
"Eh?" Asuka simply got out.
"...Okay, that's a lot of girls." Homura admitted.
"Oh man, I've been encountering a lot of girls in the past few months." Akira mumbled to himself while rubbing a hand on his hair.
"...Daaaaaamn..." Ryuji quietly got out in an impressed manner.
"Wow..." Ann muttered in an impressed manner.
Makoto simply stared at the group. She did not expect that many girls in one group.
"Seriously, anu-ue, don't go running around these places." The girl with the pink pigtails told her off. "Especially not when this beast is accompanying you!" She loudly added as she pointed a finger on the brown haired boy in an accusing manner.
"Beast?" The girls of the Phantom Thieves group meanwhile mentally repeated.
"Nana..." Rito nervously trailed off in an awkward and meek manner.
"Guessing this is something that happens often between the two?" Akira assumed.
"Hai." Yumi responded with a nod. "You can say that, Akira-kun." She confirmed in agreement.
"W-We were just walking around the beach, Nana." Rito struggled out. "N-No need to worry." He reassured.
"Uh-huh." Nana responded with an untrusting expression on her face. "I'm keeping an eye on you, you hear me?" She then added with crossed arms.
Makoto meanwhile narrowed her eyes in disapproval to this interaction.
"She sounded...a bit harsh." Asuka couldn't help but think as she noticed it as well.
"Ah, Kotegawa-san!" The short-haired pinkette got out in a pleased manner."You're here! It's good to finally see you again!" She then admitted.
"H-Hai...it has been a while, M-Momo-chan..." Yui responded in an uneasy tone.
"Ane-ue, who are they?" The pinkette with long pigtails asked in a curious manner as she finally noticed the other teenagers. "You know them?" She then added.
Lala in turn happily nodded. "Yeah! In fact, Homura-chan here's one of Yui-chan's new friends at her school." She replied and revealed as she gestured towards the tan-skinned girl.
"My, to think we would meet Kotegawa-san's new friend once again while here in Hawaii, onee-sama." The short-haired pinkette noted in amusement.
"Indeed it is, Momo-hime." The short, tan-skinned girl agreed with an interested look.
"Huh? You heard about me?" Homura asked as she heard and took note of that.
"Hai, Kotegawa-san spoke highly of you." The short-haired pinkette revealed.
"You mean you still keep in touch with one another despite different schools?" Akira asked in a curious manner.
"Well, when she learned we were attending Kosei, she made time to visit us over the summer." The smaller tan skinned girl revealed.
"I see. Good for you guys." Homura responded with a smile.
Nana couldn't help but notice the chests of three certain Shujin Academy girls, specifically the tan skinned girl, and two certain brunettes of the Shujin group. "Tch, them too?" She grumbled in obvious envy.
"So, shouldn't it be common courtesy to introduce yourself first?" Homura politely pointed out with a raised eyebrow.
"Ah! These are my younger twin sisters." Lala soon revealed, referring to the other pink haired girls.
"Momo Belia Deviluke." The short pinkette politely informed with a smile.
"Nana Astar Deviluke." The pigtailed pinkette revealed with a smirk towards the tan skinned girl. "Nice to meet a fellow girl in charge of discipline." She then added.
In turn, Homura smirked back. "You too huh?" She assumed.
"Hai," Yumi meanwhile responded with a smile. "Nana-san has been doing a great job as a member of Kosei's Disciplinary Committee." She then revealed.
"Ah, again with the flattering, Yumi." Nana sheepishly responded. "It's all from past experiences from back at Sainan after all." She then reminded.
"I can attest to that..." Yui sighed out in agreement.
Meanwhile, Akira's eyes soon widened for a moment as he gave a quick glance towards the short haired pinkette, finally processing what her name was. "So this is Momo, the girl with the harem plan for this Rito guy." He thought to himself before looking towards the boy in mention.
"Hm? Is something the matter?" Momo innocently asked in a curious manner as she noticed the glance towards her.
"It's nothing, Momo-san." Akira reassured. "Just a passing thought." He then added.
"Be careful around those guys, Momo, they're probably thinking of perverted stuff about you..." Nana whispered to her sister. "Not to mention these guys here are not even in our school." She then reminded.
"Nana-chan, I'm pretty sure not all guys are like the ones at Sainan High." The dark red haired girl meanwhile pointed out. "Why do you think most of them were sent to other schools for reeducation?" She then reminded.
"Mea..." Nana sighed out in a weary manner.
This however concerned the Shujin students greatly. Were the guys at Sainan High that bad?
The blue bordering on purple haired girl meanwhile smiled pleasantly to the other group. "It's nice to meet you all, my name is Haruna Sairenji." She soon greeted.
"She seems the most normal of them." A majority of the Phantom Thieves group thought at the same time.
"Nice to meet you as well." Akira soon greeted with a smile before noticing the brown haired boy blushing a bit while looking at her. "Ah, so Rito-san has a crush on her." He mentally noted.
"Haruna Sairenji...I assume you're acquainted with Rito here?" Homura deduced.
"You can say that." Haruna responded in a vague manner as she began blushing.
"W-We've known each other since middle school." Rito revealed, the blush still on his face.
"So what're you, like, childhood friends or somethin'?" Ryuji then asked.
"Yup!" Lala answered for him.
"Heh, kinda like you and me in a way, right, Ann?" Ryuji assumed, glancing towards the ash blonde in amusement.
Ann simply chuckled at that. "Yeah, but we're not that close as actual friends back then. We just attended the same middle school that time." She then reminded with a smile.
"Yep." Ryuji replied with a genuine smile as well. He could still remember the hard times the ash blonde had been through during that time, but now she became more confident, which was better for her.
"It's nice to meet you all, I'm Shizu Murasame." The other blue-violet, but long haired girl with accessories in them introduced herself. "But everyone calls me Oshizu." She then revealed.
"Okay, then if it's fine with you, we can call you by your nickname as well?" Asuka soon requested.
"Of course. I would appreciate that." Oshizu happily replied. "It's nice to meet new friends, after all." She then added.
"Great!" Asuka happily stated as the two began giggling.
"That's Asuka-chan for you, making friends as fast as possible." Ann jokingly reminded.
Haruna meanwhile giggled at that. "That sounds like Lala-san." She noted.
Lala simply smiled at that, being a fact and all.
"Risa Momioka. It's nice to meet you, all." The female blonde in the slightly altered Kosei uniform greeted. "Hmm...the guy with glasses over there looks kinda handsome with those glasses." She soon noted with a smirk.
That immediately got Akira's attention. "Excuse me?" He got out in confusion.
"Nothing. Just saying you're handsome." Risa simply explained with a smile.
"Oookay?" Akira awkwardly responded. "Thanks, I guess?" He then added.
"Buuut if you want, we can get to know each other better, hehe~" Risa soon suggested in amusement. "We can hang out together, maybe grab some food and drink in the meantime." She then added with a smirk.
Ryuji meanwhile blinked at the sight. "Is she flirting with Akira?" He thought.
"Is she flirting with Akira?" A majority of the Phantom Thieves girls thought in disbelief.
Yumi on the other hand just sighed as she began rubbing the bridge of her forehead. "At it again..." She quietly muttered.
Yusuke noticed her senior's reaction and felt the same. He even remembered the times Risa tried to flirt with some guys at his school, including him, to which he politely refused the advances for the sake of his senior.
Akira however simply raised an eyebrow in disbelief as well. "Are you...seriously trying to flirt with me?" He began in a hesitant manner.
"Isn't that obvious?" Risa responded while smirking. "Well, what's it gonna be, handsome?" She asked once more, slightly baffling the dyed blonde and the glasses-wearing young man.
However, the guys then noticed Rito motioning his head from side to side in a panic.
To Akira, he immediately figured out what it meant. "Ah, she's like Haruka or Katsuragi-san in a way." He thought with a sweatdrop. "Sorry, Momioka-san. I'll have to pass." He responded while adjusting his glasses.
Risa in turn pouted in disappointment. "You too? Geez, what's wrong with these guys nowadays?" She responded and grumbled out in disappointment. "Kosei was one thing, but Shujin Academy as well?" She then added.
"Is she that desperate?" Ann muttered in disbelief.
Momo simply couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated once again, recalling the experience she herself had with the blonde...especially during the showers at either the dorms or in the locker rooms while changing for before or after gym classes.
"Okay, enough of that, you guys." Homura sighed out.
"Agreed." Yui also sighed out. "And you, Momioka-san, I see you still haven't changed a bit." She then noted in disapproval.
"Oh, don't be like that, Yui-chan" Risa countered with a playful pout. "We're just getting to know each other, that's all. In fact, we've rarely had hot guys in Kosei if you ask me." She then added.
"T-This is not about hot guys and whatnot, Momioka-san!" Yui soon exclaimed with a blush before calming down a bit. "Ugh, even after all this time, you're still as shameless as ever! Including Sawada-san!" She then added.
Risa simply sighed. "And this is why you never get a boyfriend." She soon remarked before smirking in a witty look. "Especially with that body of yours, in which I call it shameless as well." She then added in a more teasing manner.
"W-WHA!?" Yui yelped out, blushing scarlet in response while covering her body with her arms.
"...Does she remind you of someone?" Akira then stated as he asked his fellow schoolmates. "...She must never meet Haruka-chan..." He thought to himself.
"She reminds me of Katsu-nee a bit." Asuka whispered.
"Agreed." Homura and Makoto muttered in agreement, the latter started getting slightly nervous at the reminder.
"Please, please, please, not the groping type as well..." The short-haired brunette prayed in her head.
Ann meanwhile looked towards the others. "And...you three?" She soon got out, hoping to change the subject.
"...Yami." The long haired, young blonde simply informed before going back to eating some taiyaki.
The dark red haired girl meanwhile smiled playfully. "Mea Kurosaki." She happily revealed with a wave.
"Call me Nemesis." The young tanned girl introduced herself as well with a smile along with hands behind her back.
"Nemesis?" Akira repeated with a raised eyebrow. "That's...different." He awkwardly confessed while the others, save for the Kosei students who already knew her, nodded in agreement.
"You don't need to pry on it too much." Nemesis simply waved it off. "My name is Nemesis, and Nemesis is my name. Try not to forget it." She stated once more and requested with a smirk.
"You can call her Neme-chan if it helps." Mea meanwhile suggested.
"!?" At that, the Phantom Thieves Leader and the tan skinned girl of the group's eyes widened, but made sure to remain calm.
"Homu-nee? What's wrong?" Asuka meanwhile whispered.
"I-I don't know, I just...I don't like her for some reason..." Homura muttered as she stepped away a bit from the girl.
Akira on the other hand felt something powerful on said little, tanned young girl. Stronger and more dangerous than the young blonde and dark redhead. Of course, he didn't try to show it in his face to avoid suspicion. In fact, he was actually tempted to use Third Eye on her. And maybe to all of these girls here, just in case.
"Hm? What's the matter? Did something come to your mind?" Nemesis soon assumed as she noticed the behavior.
"Nothing. Just remembered something I have to do back in our hotel." Akira replied.
"Your tanned friend here stepped back a bit for some reason." Nemesis noted, causing the girl in mention to wince.
"It's nothing." Homura immediately responded. "Just whispering something to Asuka here about our plans here in Hawaii. It's not every now and then you visit a foreign place like this." She then saved herself with that additional response.
Nemesis simply narrowed her eyes in interest. "If you say so." She responded while shrugging her shoulders...though her mind had other thoughts about it. "These two...seem like they have good senses. Interesting." She thought in amusement.
"...She's a sharp one..." Akira and Homura soon thought.
"So, Yami-chan was it?" Asuka began as she spoke towards the long-haired blonde. "Where'd you get the taiyaki?" She soon asked with a smile.
"I bought lots back in our home place." Yami simply replied with a slightly half-lidded gaze.
"You were able to sneak it onto the plane?" Makoto assumed with a raised eyebrow.
"I have my ways." Yami nonchalantly replied before taking another bite of her taiyaki.
"So it's your favorite food?" Asuka soon assumed, getting a nod in response from the blonde, causing her to giggle. "I see. Can I have a piece?" She soon requested.
Blinking to that, the blonde looked at the bag she had before looking at the girl who asked. "Sure. Here." Yami replied with the same tone before giving one from her bag to the brunette.
"Thank you, Yami-chan." Asuka replied as she received the snack before taking a bite.
"Wow, this is pretty rare, Yami-chan." Mea noted with a smile.
"She seems to like taiyaki, too, so I gave one to her." Yami simply replied to the female redhead. "She also reminds me of Princess Lala." She then quietly muttered.
"Huh. Really?" Mea quietly responded, getting a nod in response from the blonde. "Wow." She then got out in an impressed manner before smiling. "I hope we can get along, Asuka-senpai." She happily got out.
"Hm?" Asuka innocently hummed out before smiling. "Oh, of course, Mea-chan." She replied as she continued eating, happy to make more friends.
Homura meanwhile smirked at this. "As always Sis, can make friends with anyone." She thought to herself.
"Hold up, don't I know you from somewhere?" Ann meanwhile asked the light greenette.
"Wait, me?" The female greenette assumed while pointing at herself.
"Yes, she's referring to you, Run." The white-topped-and-black-haired young man replied to her.
"Run..." Ann repeated as she began thinking about it. "Okay yeah, that definitely sounds familiar..." She then muttered.
"I feel like I've heard that name as well." Makoto admitted.
The light greenette soon giggled. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Run Elise Jewelria." She soon introduced herself.
"Okay, what's with all these people with very long names?" Ann muttered to herself, not keeping up with some of these names.
"Ah, I know that name." Yumi recalled before stepping forward and offering her hand. "It's nice to meet you properly, Run-san." She got out in a polite tone.
"The pleasure is all mine, Yumi-san." Run replied with a smile as the two shook hands.
"Is she supposed to be an idol or a teenage celebrity?" Akira assumed, noticing the interaction.
"Run-san is actually very impressive at her idol work." Yumi confessed with a smile.
"Oh, now I remember! She's another growing idol like Yumi-chan who's also been doing well! She's even works part-time on some TV show too!" Ann soon remembered and recalled in awe.
"I see..." Homura responded...while struggling at holding back her excitement. "Holy shit! Now I recognize her! She's the anti-hero from Explosive Heat Girl Magical Kyouko Flame!" She mentally exclaimed.
"And you must be?" Akira soon asked as he glanced towards the white-topped-and-black-haired male.
"Oh, I'm Run's twin brother." The white-topped-and-black-haired male revealed himself. "Ren Elsie Jewelria." He then introduced with a bow.
"Huh, you two got the same middle name?" Ryuji noted.
"Well, they are twins, Ryuji." Akira reminded his friend as he glanced at the two.
"Their parents could've at least given 'em different middle names." Ryuji however pointed out.
"Oh, it's simply-" Run began to explain, however...
"Because they couldn't think of one at the moment." Yui immediately interrupted. "Remember?" She then stated, now with a smile that had a hidden meaning to it.
"O-Oh, yes." Run nervously replied. "I-I have a running theory that they just wanted us to stick together through school. Isn't that right, Ren." He then continued as he faced his twin while starting to sweat a bit.
"In a whole lot of ways..." Ren muttered under his breath. "But nowadays we've been working on being independent." He then got out with a smile.
"That's good to hear." Makoto got out. "It's not great for twins to spend all their life together." She then stated.
"That statement cannot be more true." Ren agreed as Run nodded.
"Ah, I was wondering where all of you were." An older female voice stated in a calm manner.
Everyone glanced and saw a tall, short haired brunette woman wearing a white lab coat with a pink top underneath with a black skirt and heels.
"Jeez, another one?" Ryuji muttered in disbelief. "...She has the boobs of a shinobi." He then quietly added.
"Ah, Mikado-sensei." Yumi greeted with a respectable bow, gaining a baffled expression from the dyed blonde.
"...That's your teacher, Yumi!?" Ryuji got out in disbelief.
"Actually, I'm a nurse at Kosei, Dr. Ryouko Mikado." The woman corrected, an expression of amusement on her face at seeing the expressions on the Shujin students save for the ravenette committee member.
"...Say what now?" Ann did a double take at that information.
"Uh, why is your school nurse here?" Makoto questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"It was cheaper to have me take care of any injuries that may occur during our trip than going to a hospital." Mikado explained to them. "You know the state of healthcare nowadays." She then added, thinking about those certain things.
"What do you mean by that?" Akira soon asked.
"Have you seen the bills for a hospital stay?" The nurse complained for everyone to hear. "Especially, what they do to aliens..." She then mumbled almost inaudibly under her breath.
"What?" Makoto got out.
"Oh, nothing. Just lamenting big pharma." Mikado waved off, causing the Thieves to look at her weirdly.
"...She, Takemi and Haruki-chan would get along..." Akira soon thought.
Soon enough, another woman, who looked extremely similar to the young blonde came running to the scene.
BOING! BOING! BOING! BOING!
"Yami-chan!" The blonde called out to the person in mention. "Don't wander off! We can't let you get too far from our sight!" She then continued with the same tone as she joined the group.
"...Ninja boobs..." Ryuji quietly muttered to himself, noticing the chest...only to feel something painfully hit his waist. "Hgh!" He then gritted his teeth in obvious pain.
"Not right now, Ryuji." Akira downright told him after swiftly decking his waist with an elbow of his.
"...Seriously, dude?" Ryuji grumbled at him while in pain. "You, of all people?" He then added.
"You're being too obvious, man." Akira reminded. "Don't make it obvious." He soon stated.
"Please don't get too far away from the hotel." The blonde woman requested while trying to catch her breath.
"Oh, you must be Yami's mom." Homura assumed with a kind and polite smile.
"A-Actually, her older sister, Tearju Lunatique. I'm a teacher at Kosei." The older blonde corrected and introduced herself in a sheepish manner.
"...Eh?" The tan skinned girl got out, her smile frozen on her face.
"I-I'm here to make sure everyone stays together. We don't have an itinerary for this circumstance!" Tearju soon explained.
"Okay, these surnames are getting more and more weird..." Ryuji muttered with a frown. "Are they all foreigners themselves, 'cause I never heard of any of them before..." He then added.
"..." Homura only went silent while staring at the aforementioned older sister. "...I'm gonna go die in a hole somewhere. Be right back." She then nonchalantly added before turning around to leave the group, some of the girls who knew the brown-haired boy from the very beginning stared at her in shock if she was actually serious in dying.
Akira however firmly grabbed her arm and stopped her in her tracks. "Okay, Homura, calm down." He soon ordered.
"No, Akira, I think I'm living in a dream or a nightmare right now." Homura responded. "I need to wake up." She then added.
"Huh?" Lala meanwhile innocently got out with a head tilt.
Yui meanwhile stared at her committee head. She did not expect this from her.
"Man, there's really a lot of girls here..." Ryuji whispered, only for their group to hear.
"Yeah, that's...quite a lot. " Akira had to admit in agreement. "And...only two guys are in them just like us in a way." He then added.
"Huh, you're right." Asuka noted in a curious manner. "...Is it weird?" She then asked.
"No, no, just...can't believe this is happening to someone else..." Akira muttered as he shook his head.
"...Yen for your thoughts?" Asuka soon questioned as she turned to the Leader.
"My parents won't believe any of this if I survive this year." Akira answered in a flat tone.
"I'll go on ahead to find a souvenir shop to buy something for Mikan." Rito got out as he went ahead to leave the group before remembering something. "Oh, wait! Lala-san, do you have my-ah!" He then got out as he turned around to walk back...only for his foot to get caught on a sidewalk crack.
He then lost his balance and was about to fall front.
"Whoa, careful!" Makoto called out as she noticed him falling.
"WAH!" Rito yelped out as he was about to fall once again...
CRASH! RIP!
"Yūki-kun!" Yui yelped. "Get off-" She continued...only to get cut off by a weird feeling.
Wait, why was there a warm breeze on her...her...
Oh dear god, no.
Everyone went silent at the scene in front of them. The young boy was on a very embarrassed Yui...with his head between her legs and a hand inside the ravenette's uniform and on her breast.
"...Again with Yui?" Homura broke the silence to herself.
Risa looked impressed at the scene. It was already a usual occurrence for the boy, so she already knew what his circumstances were.
"MOH! RITO!" Lala exclaimed as the two in mention scrambled to their feet, with the boy blushing and the girl covering her privates.
"Y-Yūki-kun!" Haruna meanwhile stammered out in embarrassment.
"WAH! I-I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" Rito exclaimed and apologized to the two in a panic.
"YOU PERVERTED BEAST!" Nana growled before lunging at him and placing the poor boy in a chokehold.
"GACK!" Rito choked in pain, his face slowly getting purple by the second.
"Holy shit..." Ryuji breathed out as he processed the sight.
Homura simply winced with a pity-filled look on her face.
Asuka's jaw meanwhile dropped a bit as she went speechless with a pink blush on her face.
Yusuke simply raised an eyebrow, but said nothing as he recalled this being a regular occurrence with the boy at the school.
However, Yui was simply very quiet as she looked away. "S-S-Shameless..." She muttered
"Hey, who the hell leaves ripped panties on the ground?" Ryuji grumbled as he picked it up. "Don't effin' litter, man..." He then stated, earning baffled expressions from everyone.
"Ryuji!" Makoto and Homura called out to him with blushes
Ann immediately noticed the dyed blond's doing and rushed over to smack it out of his hands. "Don't touch that, you idiot!" She then yelled with a blush on her face.
"What the hell, Ann!?" Ryuji exclaimed as he picked up the torn underwear again. "I was gonna throw it away. It's all sandy and wet. We gotta take care of the environment. We're in Hawaii, remember?" He then pointed out.
"Wet...?" Akira repeated as everyone's gaze slowly drifted over to a certain someone.
Yui instantly blushed even redder than before, smoothing down her skirt a little as subtly as possible.
"Pfft!" Momo had to cover her mouth to stop herself from laughing out loud.
"Dude, are you for real right now?" Akira deadpanned.
"It says on the brochure that we have to clean up after ourselves and other people." Ryuji pointed out. "I don't know why you're actin' all weird, but I'm gonna find the nearest trash thing now." He then concluded.
"W-Wait, Ryuji..." Akira tried to stop the dyed blond, but he had already left.
"Hey! Blonde boy! Get back here!" Nana yelled at the direction the dyed blonde went, still holding the orange-brown-haired boy in a chokehold.
"He said he's gonna throw it away, Nana." Momo informed, still attempting to stifle her laughter. "I think I can respect him at least." She then added.
"Just let him go. Those garments won't help in the current state they're in." Makoto advised as she shook her head. "And I don't think it'll help Yui-san anymore, anyways." She then added as the girl in mention blushed even harder than before.
"...You know I hate ecchi..." Yami muttered as a dark aura surrounded her.
"Yami-chan, calm down, okay?" Mea meanwhile requested. "Don't kill the blond-haired guy when he comes back." She then requested.
"As always, he impresses us with how he does what he does." Nemesis on the other hand remarked in amusement. "And that blonde boy behaved differently than all the other boys his age. How interesting." She then added in a curious manner.
"No, he's always been like this." Homura sighed and groaned at the same time.
"This is...not what I expected." Akira stated with widened eyes at the scene.
"...Ok, how did that even happen?" Makoto questioned in disbelief at the sight.
Yumi however sighed in response. "Not again..." She muttered while placing a hand on her face.
"...Again?" The group minus the tan skinned girl repeated, who simply sighed in pity.
"This...These are his tripping accidents, isn't it?" Ann soon assumed.
"Yup." Homura agreed with a nod. "Honestly, I feel bad for him." She then admitted. "Like, really bad." She soon added.
"But...But he literally just tripped over a crack..." Makoto reminded, trying to process what just happened.
"...Only for him to crash over Yui here and get his hands on the private places." Ann continued. "...How?" She also asked.
Momo meanwhile just giggled. "An act of God?" She playfully guessed.
"Act of God? Seriously?" Akira repeated and asked.
"Probably the universe hates him, dude." Ryuji soon suggested in a blunt manner.
"No, no, he'll be the King of it someday." Momo soon reassured.
"..." The Phantom Thieves group soon went silent upon hearing that.
"...That was a figure of speech, right?" Homura assumed, hearing the second time about it.
"Maybe, maybe not." Momo happily replied in a vague manner.
"Hey, guys, I'm back." The dyed blond got out with a wave. However, in his hands were another pair of panties with little cat faces on them. "Guess what, some woman came up to me and traded that old underwear with a fresh pair. Weird, huh." He then informed with an amused smile.
"...Uh...what?" Asuka responded, her eye twitching slightly. Why didn't people do that for her when her panties got torn off!?
"...Yes. Weird." Makoto soon stated in a stiff manner. "...Don't tell me you're going to keep it?" She then asked with a judging look on her face.
"What!? Eff no! It's creepy to carry this around all day." Ryuji scoffed before holding it out. "Any of you girls want it?" He soon offered.
This only made Yui blush until she was a tomato red before she raised her hand.
"Here ya go." Ryuji causally got out before grimacing. "Ugh, I ain't even tryin' to sniff it and I can tell it smells like crappy perfume. Make sure to clean it when you get the chance." He then advised.
"Oh my God, shut up Ryuji." Ann whispered, looking away from this entire scene.
"Your ignorance is an achievement in itself." Homura deadpanned.
"Wait, what?" Ryuji got out in a dim manner as some of the girls quietly created a wall to shield the very embarrassed Yui.
"I'm starting to like this guy now as well." Risa muttered to herself.
"Sorry, ladies, he's single." Akira informed in a serious tone.
"D-Dude, shut your effin' mouth!" Ryuji called out, finally blushing himself.
"N-Nana-san, please let him go." Makoto got out as she approached the two before trying to pry off the pinkette's arms from the young boy. "I think you've gone too far already. You look like you're killing him now." She then noted.
To that, the pigtailed pinkette calmed down a bit, though still had the boy in the choker hold. "Makoto, right? Be careful around this beast. Who knows what he might do to you." Nana soon warned in a cautious manner.
"Despite that-" Makoto began, however...
CRACK!
The group suddenly heard the young blonde cracking her knuckles. "Yūki Rito..." Yami droned out in a dark tone.
"Whoa, that doesn't sound healthy." Akira remarked. "Maybe you should get that checked out, Yami-san." He then suggested.
However, the petite girl ignored him and stepped towards the accident-prone boy. "You are only allowed to do that in private." Yami quietly muttered.
"...Eh?" Asuka and Homura got out.
"And only. With. Me." Yami then sternly stated in the same tone with more of a pout.
"...What?" Ann asked in disbelief.
"Did I hear that right?" Makoto aside to herself while doing a double take.
"Y-Yami-san!?" Yui got out in shock.
"Oh, you definitely have some catching up to do, Kotegawa-san." Momo giggled with a devious smile on her face.
"HUH!?" Yui got out in disbelief and even more confusion.
"I think I'm starting to see why Yui-san has a thing against shameless things..." Akira soon thought with a sweatdrop.
"It's not your turn yet!" Risa called out. "It's mine!" She then added.
"Risa, please quiet down. Not only are we in public, we're in a different country!" Haruna soon requested in a panicked manner.
"Hey, it's not the worst thing we've done in public." Risa casually revealed with a sly and witty smile.
"What do you mean by that!?" Yui exclaimed in concern. However, the teasing girl just kept up her sly smile. "Risa? Risa!?" She then called out.
"Okay, break it up. Break it up." Mikado soon ordered, despite the amused expression on her face. "You all need to calm down." She then instructed.
"Hai, there's nothing to be so upset about, Shameless-senpai." Mea happily got out.
"Shameless-senpai?" The Shujin girls all thought in confusion and disbelief.
"H-How many times have I said not to call me that, Kurosaki-san!?" Yui stammered and exclaimed with an embarrassed blush.
"Ah, but I missed calling you that. You do say shameless so many times." Mea countered with a pout. "I'm very happy you're spending time with us again." She then added.
"I...I'm glad too." Yui admitted in an uneasy tone. "But, not as much time as you think once we're home." She then added as she glanced over at the Disciplinary Committee Head of Shujin.
"Well, I better head back to my room." Ren meanwhile decided before heading into the hotel. "I wish to get some sleep after spending all that time in that metal tube of death." He then yawned out.
"Ok! See you in the morning, Renren!" Lala happily called out while waving to the boy, causing him to flinch with a blush on his face.
"Renren?" Akira repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Hehehe, I just heard it from somewhere and I liked it." Lala giggled and explained.
"Sounds kinda cool." Ryuji muttered under his breath. "Gotta find a way to use it some day." He then decided.
"Really?" Akira deadpanned before shaking his head.
Eventually, the Phantom Thieves Leader coughed into his fist as he looked at some of the arguing girls. "Girls, can you give the guy a break here?" Akira however suggested. "Something tells me that he's been beaten up many, many, many times by these girls alongside him." He then thought in his head as he observed them.
"W-Well, not this year..." Rito muttered as he scratched the back of his head.
"What is your definition of being beaten!?" Ann exclaimed in shock.
"Well, I haven't broken a bone yet." Rito casually revealed as the many, many times he's been hit, thrown around, or used as a weapon flashed through his mind.
"Dude, is he really that unlucky?" Ryuji whispered to the Leader.
"Looks like it." Akira responded. "How about all of you girls go hang out for a bit?" He soon suggested.
"What? Why?" Nana asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Everyone deserves a little time to themselves." Akira simply explained. "Is that okay, Lunatique-sensei?" He then asked.
"Well...I read that teenage boys need to get away sometimes and um...be boys." Tearju responded and recalled. "Just don't leave the beach and make sure you return to the hotel before sundown, okay?" She soon requested.
"Don't worry, we won't." Akira reassured with a nod. "Come on, before you accidentally get yourself arrested for sexual harrassment." He then urged as he started pushing the boy away from the girls.
"You want a piggyback ride too? You know, just in case?" Ryuji soon offered.
"I can walk just fine." Rito assured as he stepped forward and...somehow didn't trip and land in some sort of perverted situation.
Everyone let out a breath of relief they didn't know they were holding in.
(Hawaii, Beach)
The girls had gone to the beach to enjoy the sun and the sound of waves, however most of the energy of the group was coming from Asuka and Lala, who had been talking for a literal hour without stopping.
"Wow, you're really creative Lala-chan." Asuka admitted in awe.
"Hehe! Thanks! And you're really cute, Asuka-chan!" Lala giggled and replied. "Almost want to build a robot just like you, but I know it'll only be half as cute as you." She then admitted.
This however caught the attention of the Shujin girls. "Huh? Robot?" Makoto got out with a raised eyebrow.
"She's taking an engineering course at Kosei." Yami casually informed.
"What? Really?" Ann asked with a raised eyebrow while looking at the bubbly pinkette. "She doesn't seem like the type." She soon admitted.
"Never judge a book by their cover." Yui sighed out. "Although, I sort of wish she tests her inventions before she unleashes them to the world." She then admitted.
"Despite it making things more amusing." Nemesis quipped with a witty grin.
"Yeah..." Homura got out with a flat stare, as a certain scientist turned doctor flashed in her mind. "I know the feeling." She then muttered.
"Wait, wasn't there a news report about some giant vacuum cleaner sucking up people's clothes last-" Makoto began to recall.
"It was a completely different person." Momo quickly corrected. "Trust me, we should know..." She then added in a weak and tired manner.
Ann soon sighed and shook her head. "I do not remember Tokyo being that weird growing up..." She admitted.
"I think it always was, but you weren't old enough to understand it yet." Mikado theorized.
"Eh, I would say it makes things more fun." Risa meanwhile admitted in amusement.
"There is such a thing as too much fun." Yui pointed out with a sweatdrop. "But...it definitely doesn't make life boring." She then added.
"That's true." Homura responded.
"I really like that brooch. Yui-chan has one just like that." Asuka soon got out while looking at the item in mention with interest.
"You do? I made them!" Lala happily replied and revealed. "I'd offer you one but they're back at home..." She then added with a pout.
"You're a fashion designer too?" Asuka soon assumed in an impressed manner as the two continued happily chatting away.
"Look at them. They're talking like they're old friends they haven't seen in a long time..." Makoto meanwhile stated.
"Got that right..." Homura noted, glad her sister was making more friends.
"Wow, she's as bubbly as Lala-san." Haruna got out with a smile.
"She really does." Oshizu admitted in agreement.
"Asuka-chan's just overall friendly with people." Ann simply examined with a giggle. "She can make friends with just about anyone if she puts her mind to it." She then revealed.
"Heeeeeh, she sounds like Ane-ue." Nana soon admitted in an interested manner.
"I can see the comparison." Momo stated in amusement with a hand to her mouth.
"You think soon?" Homura meanwhile asked, getting nods in response from the twins.
"I wonder how the guys are doing..." Ann soon wondered out loud. "Hope they have a good time hanging out together." She then added.
"Hmph, they'll probably talk about girls and maybe convince Rito to buy a dirty magazine here..." Nana muttered to herself with fists on her hips. "Boys. Typical." She then droned out.
"Dirty magazines?" Makoto repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Nana-san, I don't think they're the type to get magazines." Ann pointed out with a frown.
"Yeah, it's all about the internet now." Homura bluntly informed. "No need for physical anymore. You can jerk off with your phone." She then got out, spreading her arms out as she imagined the vast world of online pornography in front of them.
Nana's eyes soon dilated. "...I've had that phone on my ears." She muttered in horror.
"H-Homu-neechan..." Asuka meanwhile got out with a blush.
"It's true." Homura however responded. "You're thinking in the past, Nana-san. The future is now...and it's full of perverts unfortunately." She then added with a sigh.
"E-Ew!" Nana exclaimed in disgust. "I best avoid the beast until he gets himself sanitized or something." She then decided.
"Nana, I think you're blowing this a little out of proportion." Momo eventually pointed out.
"What are you talking about? All males want is to mate with females." Nana scoffed with a huff.
"Nana-san, if that's how you view all guys in general, then you're really closed-minded." Makoto suddenly and bluntly accused, getting the girl's attention as she looked at her in disbelief along with some of the other girls. "I bet you haven't accepted all of Rito-san's apologies more often every time something inappropriate by him occurs. Probably never." She then accused.
The Phantom Thieves group meanwhile looked on as they sweatdropped.
"Damn, Makoto-senpai's really grilling into her." Homura muttered.
"Mmmm..." Tearju got out in concern.
"It's because of how the boys at Sainan acted." Yui however reminded with a sigh.
"Were they that bad?" Ann meanwhile asked.
"They perved out on Tear when she first came to Sainan." Yami soon revealed in disapproval.
"But again, it did make things amusing at times." Mea admitted with a grin.
"It's still really unbecoming of those students." Makoto however stated. "We've had our fair share of sexual harassment back home. It is not amusing when you're the target." She then added.
"...Oh right, Shujin Academy." Yami soon recalled.
"Exactly, Yami-san" Homura responded with a nod.
"Sorry." Yami soon apologized.
"...At least all the other male students were scattered and transferred for retraining." Yami eventually stated. "...And we no longer have to deal with the principal." She then added with the small hint of a smile and a gleam in her eyes.
Meanwhile, out in the distance, people wondered if that was a UFO flying by, with a half-naked body hanging out a window, seemingly having given up on yelling for help.
"Seriously, what is up with terrible principals these days...?" Ann muttered in annoyance.
"Hey, at least the principal at Kosei is nice." Oshizu meanwhile reminded with a smile.
"Kosei being the exception then." Ann corrected. "Still, the guys aren't like that. They never did anything to us...on purpose." She then added
"Purpose, you say." Nana noted.
"Hey, the trains are crowded, okay?" Asuka groaned with red cheeks.
"They really are." Haruna awkwardly admitted in agreement.
"T-Then what if that beast did something to you!?" Nana soon asked and accused.
Makoto however narrowed her eyes in response in disapproval. "Please stop calling him a beast. We all saw that what happened was a complete accident at the time." She soon stated as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Plus your older sister and Sairenji-san had already accepted his apology." She then reminded.
"Urk!" Nana winced at the feeling of authority coming from the Shujin Student Council President. It was definitely different then what she was used to. And...why did she feel as if she was standing at the center of a nuke?
"Now then, next time you see Yūki-san, I want you to apologize to him. Am I clear?" Makoto instructed and questioned.
"But-" Nana began.
"Am. I. Clear?" Makoto questioned once more, crossing her arms over her chest.
"...Yes, ma'am." Nana mumbled.
"Louder." Makoto soon ordered while the others could swear they saw her eyes glow for a moment.
"Y-Yes, ma'am!" Nana yelped out in a fearful manner. "Those udders must be giving her power..." She then thought.
"Thank you." Makoto responded in approval.
"...Impressive." Yami admitted.
"For someone who calls Rito a beast, she sure acts like a rabid dog..." Ann muttered with a frown.
"That's Nana, for you." Momo stated, amused and impressed at the sight.
"I guess things haven't changed much since we've moved." Yui sighed.
"No, plenty has. Just not in ways you'll know outside of home." Risa informed with a giggle.
That reminded the Shujin Committee member of something that happened earlier, causing her to turn to the golden haired girl. "Yami-san, about before..." She began.
"You'll learn once you've settled in." Yami responded with a blush while twiddling her thumbs.
"S-Settled in?" Yui repeated in confusion.
"I think the princess sent some bots to move your things into your new room." Mea whispered into the Shujin committee member's ear.
"My new what!?" Yui yelped out with a blush.
"Hey, every queen needs a castle." Momo pointed out with a giggle.
"Q-Queen?" Yui repeated in a stammer as her eyes began to roll to the back of her head.
THUD!
"Yui!?" Homura got out in shock as her committee member fell to the ground with a red glowing and steaming head with swirls in her eyes.
"Give her some air." Mikado ordered as she quickly checked over the ravenette to see if she was okay. "She's fine. I think she just finally reached her shamelessness threshold. I recommend taking her back to her room to rest and recover."
"Okay." Asuka nodded as she lifted the unconscious girl up into her arms.
"Wow, you're strong." Nana remarked in an impressed manner. "Almost as strong as anu-ue." She then added.
The Vice Leader simply blushed before she realized something important. "...Wait, what room is she in?" Asuka soon asked.
"Hmmm...she doesn't have the room key..." Yumi then added as she patted the unconscious girl down.
"...I know where we can put her." Haruna eventually spoke up.
"Hm?" Ann got out in a confused manner.
"Oh, I get what you mean." Risa giggled with a sly smile as all the other girls began to realize what she was implying themselves. "I hope Ren doesn't mind sleeping with his sister tonight~" She then sang out.
"Hey!" Run exclaimed in disapproval with a puffed up cheek.
"...Okay, seriously, how is this not a terrible, terrible mess." Ann deadpanned.
"I don't think I could handle such a relationship." Makoto admitted. "If my boyfriend ever sees another girl I'll-" She then started.
"You what!?" Asuka and Homura exclaimed.
"I-I mean, if I had a boyfriend! Metaphorical, no wait, I..." Makoto stammered and blushed before deciding that she had already embarrassed herself enough. "I'm going back to my room." She then sighed before heading for the hotel.
(Hotel Lobby)
Meanwhile, with the boys, they had decided to head to the shopping area to grab drinks before heading back to the lobby to hang around and stay cool.
"Here," Akira offered the boy a drink that he bought from a beverage store nearby.
"You doing alright, man?" Ryuij asked the boy with a hand on his back.
"I'm alright. Nana's just really isn't a fan of perverts." Rito responded as he took the drink.
"She is protective of the other girls at Kosei as a committee member." Yusuke recalled. "Though what Yumi-senpai said about her is that she commented on how well-behaved the male student body was in our school, she still has to do her job. It would seem that she knows what she's doing." He then revealed.
"So doing basically what Homura does." Ryuji simplified.
"It's...kinda like that." Rito muttered. "It just might involve more chasing and um...animals." He then added.
"Ouch." Akira grimaced as the boy downed his drink.
"Whew, thanks for that." Rito breathed out in grateful relief. "...I'm honestly more surprised you guys didn't try to act like perverts around them." He then admitted.
"Hm?" Yusuke hummed out.
"Excuse me?" Akira responded with a raised eyebrow.
"Wha!? Why the hell would we do that!?" Ryuji got out in shock.
To that, that brown haired boy sighed. "A lot of the boys at Sainan basically became perverts at first sight after Lala and her sisters came into my life." Rito sheepishly explained in a way to make it seem like he wasn't trying to offend them.
"You mean their puberty started the moment they see them?" Akira assumed.
"More like it went into overdrive..." Rito sighed out again. "Most of the boys at my old school would kiss the ground they walked on if it meant getting to spend more than a moment with them. It's ridiculous. And that's to mention all the-" He then complained before clamming up and stopped talking.
"The what?" Akira pressed.
"T-Trouble I get into, on purpose or not." Rito stammered out, quietly letting out a breath.
"You get into trouble on purpose?" Ryuji questioned with a raised eyebrow. He didn't seem like the type of person to do so.
"Sometimes there's no helping it." Rito stated with a serious look on his face. "Nowadays even as my mind tells me to run, my body is already moving towards the danger." He then admitted.
"The words of a hero...or a fool." Yusuke remarked.
"That's true. But it's better than just doing nothing." Rito couldn't help but admit. "It's just one of these days, I might make it worse. I feel like I'm the luckiest and unluckiest person in the galaxy, you know?" He then added.
"Eh, there's probably someone out there doing worse." Akira however pointed out. "I mean, people would kill to be with so many girls." He then added, mentally adding that what he just said could be applied to himself.
"I-It's not really...It's a mutual agreement sort of thing." Rito corrected. "We're still working out the details on it." He then informed.
"You really want to make it work though, right?" Ryuji got out, looking at Rito with a questioning look. "Is that why you just deal with it?"
"I mean...I hold each and every person I know dear to my heart but they can be a serious handful." Rito stated in a firm manner. "I still don't think I'm ready for the future. I don't even know what job I want after I graduate." He then confessed.
"Hey, if there's anything I've learned, it's that anything can happen. You just have to roll with it." Akira stated.
"I've been sort of rolling with it for two years now." Rito sighed out as he shook his head. "Ugh...I feel like the universe is out to get me killed sometimes." He then groaned.
"God can be a cruel son of a bitch." Akira admitted to himself as he adjusted his glasses.
"He may also be the cause of all those accidents that you seem to find yourself in." Yusuke added.
"I have a feeling that those accidents only happen when there are girls around you." Akira soon deduced.
"Mikado-sensei says I might have Cataplectic Indecency Syndrome and that's the cause for my tripping accidents with a Spiral of Indecency..." Rito soon revealed before dropping his head in shame. "I've apologized so many times that my sister keeps a jar for them..." He then muttered.
"Sounds like you've been through a lot, man." Ryuji replied in a sympathetic tone.
"A lot of trouble." Rito responded. "Some days I feel like my heart and body can barely take it." He then admitted.
"Hey, if you need anyone to talk to, feel free to contact one of us." Ryuji soon offered.
Rito was a little stunned by the offer. It's been a very long time since another boy offer such a thing to him. "R-Really? T-Thanks." He finally managed to get out in an appreciative tone.
"Hey, Rito." Akira meanwhile started. "If you don't mind, can I have your phone number?" He then requested.
"Huh? A-Are you sure?" Rito asked a little nervously.
"We can hang out again back in Japan if you want. It looks like you could use some more guy friends." Akira replied in an assuring tone.
"Uh...sure." Rito nodded to that before the boys exchanged their numbers.
"Huh. No connection." Akira thought with a frown. Throughout this entire thing, he didn't even hear the sounds of chains surrounding him. It was strange, but he didn't want to think too much about it. It was a nice change of pace not having to work out a deal with someone to earn their friendship.
"Okay, are you trying to show off with that IM name of yours?" Ryuji soon got out.
"Yeah, sure." Rito replied with a nod before pulling out his phone...only to get in a state of surprise as he noticed something on his phone. "What the-!? Di-Did Momo or Nemesis mess with my phone again?" He then exclaimed as he finally noticed his username.
"What's wrong?" Yusuke asked in slight concern.
"Ugh...they're just gonna keep changing it back to that even if I go back to my old username." Rito soon mumbled in defeat. "Here. It's KingOfTheUniverse." He then sighed.
"You should get better security for your phone." Akira advised him as he and the other guys added him to their contacts.
"It will not stop them, let me tell you that." Rito soon chuckled as they continued talking and walking until they had to go to their respective rooms.
(Tokyo, Futaba's Room)
Meanwhile, back in Japan, Futaba and Morgana were inside as the hacker worked through the data from Sae Niijima's laptop after finding something for the Vice Leader.
"Found it! One after another too..." Futaba got out in an eager manner.
"What did you find?" Morgana asked in a curious manner, attempting to see/understand what was happening on her computer screen.
"Still working. Can't tell you." the hacker replied, shoving him a little out of the way. She needed to focus after all.
"She can handle this without me..." Morgana sighed.
"Oooh, so much." Futaba whispered to herself.
"All I'm good for is driving them around in Mementos...I'm basically useless..." The not cat soon continued muttering.
"Kitty! Your mumbling's distracting me!" Futaba grumbled. "If you got something to say, just spit it out." She then requested.
"It's nothing." Morgana tried to deny.
"What were you saying!?" Futaba soon asked as she began rubbing his face.
"Lemme go!" Morgana demanded.
"You feel so nice." Futaba breathed out, thoroughly enjoying everything about the not cat.
"I do not!" Morgana insisted, sounding a little harsher than usual.
"So smooth and silky." Futaba got out in awe as she brushed her hand through the not cat's fur. "It's kinda hard to believe fur this soft belongs to a human." She muttered.
"Don't make me say it again! I'm a human..." Morgana muttered, his gaze drooping down at the floor. She probably wouldn't say the same thing if she was a cat...
"Couldn't you just be assuming that?" Futaba pointed out. "I should know. I had the wrong assumptions about my mom for the longest time." She then reminded and admitted.
"That's not the same! I understand myself better than anyone!" Morgana called out.
"That's true." Futaba responded with a shrug before getting back to work.
"..." Morgana simply slumped down, not wanting to think about it anymore.
"So, what'd you do with Big Sis yesterday?" Futaba soon asked.
"...You mean Miyabi right?" Morgana assumed.
"Duuuuh." Futaba responded. "So, did you gossip? Go on a super secret shinobi thing? Train until you puked?" She then assumed.
"Nothing like that." Morgana sighed. "We went into the Metaverse for Miyabi to practice driving." He revealed.
"Ooh, can you teach me?" Futaba got out in an eager tone.
"No. Absolutely not, Futaba. Miyabi would kill me if she learned about it." Morgana stated as he shook his head.
"Come on, it's only a couple of months until I'm old enough to get a learner's permit." The hacker pointed out. "I may as well start early! Wait, unless self-driving cars really start to take off..." She then muttered to herself with a gleam of excitement in her eyes.
"Ugh..." Morgana groaned as he curled up into a ball on the hacker's desk.
"Okay, I just have to finish this so I can continue researching this Rito Yūki guy and the disappearance of that Sainan High School." Futaba muttered to herself as she worked. "Could be some juicy and useful info about hi-" She then added, only to be cut off by a pop-up on her computer screen.
BEEP-BEEP!
"Hm?" Morgana got as she noticed the notification on the hacker's computer. "Akira made a new contact on his phone?"
"Huh. Who's he adding on his phone this time?" Futaba asked herself as she opened the notification before smirking. "Hopefully it's another shinobi, mwehehe." She then added.
"You're really eager to find more shinobi girls, huh." Morgana deadpanned.
"It's more on the big boobs, but yeah, pretty much." Futaba waved off with a nod. "KingofTheUniverse? Is this girl trying to show off or somethi-?" She then read and commented before noticing "Oh...oh...oh hoo...Akira Kurusu, you really are my guardian angel." She soon declared with a grin.
"What about me?" Miyabi soon asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Eh, guardian demon, Big Sis. Need a little balance." Futaba casually added. "...AAAAHHHH! WHEN DID YOU GET HERE!?" She then screamed, nearly falling off her chair.
"Keep it down! You want Sojiro to know I'm here?" Miyabi reminded, deciding not to comment on the navigator's lack of spatial awareness and reaction time. "I was just making sure everything is progressing smoothly before I head home." She then explained.
"You kidding me? I could leave this on auto if I wanted to at this point." Futaba soon revealed. "Just need to make sure the program doesn't corrupt anything before I can. If even a few bytes don't load, we could lose everything." She then added.
"Okay, I don't really understand any of that, but I'm just gonna leave you to it." "Get to sleep early, okay?" She then instructed.
"Yeah, whatever you say, Big Sis." Futaba waved off.
"I don't like that tone, missy." Miyabi responded in a more authoritative one.
"I will go to bed at a reasonable time." Futaba assured.
"Before midnight." Miyabi stated in a firm tone as she opened the window. "I'm leaving. Good night."
"Good night to you too." The hacker replied with a nod. "Oooh, baby, that's the good stuff." She then got out.
"...Keep an eye on her Morgana." Miyabi soon instructed.
WHOOSH!
"Whatever. It's not like I can do much to stop her..." The not cat however mumbled.
"Woohoo! Jackpot!" Futaba suddenly cheered.
"What? What is it?" Morgana asked, hearing the eagerness.
"Akira just made friends with the one I'm looking for." Futaba stated with a grin before interlocking her fingers and stretching them outward. "Alright, USB first, then Rito Yūki next." She then added before going back to work, seriously this time.
(9/9, Evening)
(Hawaii, Akira and Mishima's Hotel Room)
Night had fallen on Hawaii, and so all the students returned to their rooms after dinner. However, it didn't mean things had calmed down.
Or, at least, for Akira as he glared at his opponents over his cards. "Hrrrrnnn..." He annoyingly got out, clearly the odds being not in his favor as their card game continued. "Dammit, I'm out." He got out in a defeated manner, accepting his beggar status...for now.
"...Triple sevens!" Ryuji called out as he threw the cards onto the pile like shurikens.
"Queens!" Ann responded by slamming her cards down, causing several to go flying.
A gleam suddenly appeared in Mishima's eyes. "Aces." He simply stated as he threw the cards down.
"Dammit!" Ryuji growled out in frustration. "How the hell did you get those!? You have to have some cards up your effin' sleeves." He then accused.
"I'm just lucky today I guess." Mishima got out in a confident tone as the Thieves glared at the winning player.
"I will not be a beggar for long." Akira growled as the others steeled their gazes.
However, the game was already over before the next round had even begun.
"Now call me...TYCOON!" Mishima declared as he played his last cards.
SHATTER!
"F-Four eight cards!?" Ann gasped in horror.
"He triggered a revolution...and left us to die..." Akira lamented, staring sadly as his hand full of high value cards.
"Curse you, Mishimaaaaaa!" Ryuji declared as he shook his fist at the cheering boy.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"I'll get it." Akira muttered as he set his cards down and stood up from the bed to walk towards the door.
"Does that mean I'll sleep on the fricking floor?!" The Leader heard Ryuji got out in shock as he was approaching the door.
"Bed time for me, man, haha!" He then also heard Mishima replying to Ryuji in a teasing manner as he grabbed the door knob before opening it, revealing...
"G-Good evening." Asuka greeted with a blush.
"Asuka? Homura?" Akira got out with a raised eyebrow. They were both in their pajamas, carrying their own blankets and pillows. "You guys too?"
"There are couples doing it on both sides of our room and they didn't stop no matter how hard we tried." Homura deadpanned as her sister whimpered. "So, until someone gets pregnant, can we stay here?" She soon asked.
"I dunno. Ryuji and Ann are already here." Akira informed as be rubbed the back of his neck.
"Wait, really?" Asuka got out in surprise as she poked her head into the room.
"Yo." Ryuji greeted.
"Hey." Ann waved.
"Why are you two here?" Homura had to ask as she poked her head inside as well.
"My roommate brought his girlfriend to our room. Felt awkward staying, so I kinda decided to stay the night here." Ryuji answered with a shrug.
"And my roommate went to her boyfriend's room and took the only key." Ann grumbled with a mad frown. "I was locked out of the room! Stupid automatic locks..." She then added in frustration.
"...I'll be sure to inform Makoto-senpai about all of this in the morning." Homura informed in a more authority filled tone, causing the others to wince.
"Huh, that kinda sounds like Ryuji and Ann's roommates are dating." Mishima realized with a chuckle.
"That, or they're not and they're the ones dancing on both sides of Asuka and Homura's rooms." Akira added his suggestion. "Either way, do you seriously wanna stay here for the night?" He soon asked.
"We don't want to ask strangers or our other classmates." Asuka answered before heading in.
"Yeah, they'd just act weird and stare the whole night." Homura sighed as she followed her sister inside. "So, what were you guys doing?" She then asked.
"Playing tycoon to see who gets a bed." Ann answered. "Mishima and I won." She then got out with a smile.
"I got the couch." Akira revealed.
"And I got the effin' floor..." Ryuji whined. "Looks like you're joining me though. There's nowhere else to sleep other than the bathroom." He then informed with a frown.
"I-I see..." Asuka blinked before suddenly letting out a squeak. "O-Ouch! My back!" She got out as she rubbed her lower back.
"Sis?" Homura got out in confused concern.
"Owie...my back is so sore from standing all day..." Asuka whimpered like a sad puppy.
"Huh?" Homura got out in confusion...before soon feeling it. "Ah, y-yeah. Dammit, my back's starting to hurt too." She soon revealed.
"But I guess if we have to..." Asuka sighed sadly as she began to lay down on the ground.
"No, you can sleep on a bed tonight. Your health, and spines, are important." Ann decided.
"Sorry..." The two sisters soon apologized at the same time while bowing to the others, hiding their devious smiles.
"They are lying out of their asses..." Akira thought with a flat look on his face, perfectly aware of the inhumanly strong spines. "Although, I'm sure they would actually get back pain if they slept on the floor..." He then added in his head.
"Me and Sis will be sharing a bed then, if that's alright with you." Homura stated in a thankful tone.
"Oh come on, I won tycoon last for nothing!?" Mishima exclaimed.
"Looks like it." Akira got out. "There's a nice comfy spot on the floor just for you as a consolation prize." He added in a joking manner.
"Aw..." The admin groaned.
"It's only for one night." Ann reminded before checking the time on her phone. "It's getting late, we better get to sleep or else we're just gonna waste tomorrow sleeping in." She then informed and suggested.
"Hai!" The two sisters soon replied at the same time before jumping onto Mishima's supposed winning bed.
With that, the Thieves (and Mishima) prepared to retire for the night, laying down in their respective sleeping spots and turning off the lights.
However, after half an hour, no one had ever shut their eyes.
"I'm all the way in Hawaii, and I'm stuck sleepin' on the floor..." Ryuji complained with a groan.
"It could be worse. You could be out in the hall in seiza position." Homura muttered as she snuggled closer to her sister.
"Hey, where'd Mishima go?" Ryuji then asked as he sat up from his makeshift bed.
"He's in the bathroom." Ann responded.
"Ain't he been in there a while?" Ryuji got out in concern.
"Maybe he's on his phone or something, checking the Phan-site." Asuka guessed. "Mishima-kun doesn't like to take a break, does he?" She then noted.
"Nope." Akira responded with a nod.
"Does he really have to do it in the bathroom of all places to manage the site?" Homura deadpanned.
"Privacy, maybe?" Ryuji guessed with a shrug. "Urgh, who cares...this trip is startin' to blow..." He then added.
"It hasn't been all that bad." Asuka got out. "We played on the beach, shopped around, hung out with our friends and made some new ones..." She then listed off.
"We did and do all that in Japan!" Ryuji called out, causing the others to wince at his loud voice. "Come on, I wanna go on tours, swim with dolphins and turtles, eat awesome food. We're barely doing anythin' different from yesterday." He then complained.
"It's still a good experience, Ryuji." Homura pointed out. "Look, once you graduate and get a job, you can come here and do all that stuff." She then stated.
"It wouldn't be the same..." Ryuji sighed.
"Why?" Ann had to ask with a raised eyebrow.
"'Cause you guys wouldn't be here." The dyed answered without even having to think.
"Ryuji-kun, that's really sweet." Asuka giggled. "And don't think that. We'll definitely find time to come here together, even when we're adults. All of us, Miyabi-chan and Futaba-chan too." She then declared.
"And Morgana." Akira reminded.
"And Morgana-chan." Asuka quickly added.
Ann couldn't help but smile as she listened to her friends talk, however, there was still someone missing from their group. "...Shiho was really looking forward to this..." She muttered in a sad tone.
"Ann..." Ryuji whispered in a low voice.
"Oh..." Asuka got out in a sympathetic tone. "Um, is Shiho-chan doing anything then?" She soon asked.
"It's Inaba. It's a quiet town." Ann answered. "Perfect place to hide away and recover." She then added with a small smile.
"But not much in the way of shit like you can in Tokyo." Ryuji assumed.
"She made another new friend last time I talked to her." Ann recalled in relief. "Most of them are older though. No one wants to be around a..." She then added before trailing off.
"Damn..." Akira muttered with a frown.
"...Sorry. I didn't mean to bring the mood down." Ann got out in an apologetic tone. "But it's already been almost six months since then, hasn't it? This all feels so strange."
"Half a year..." Akira breathed out. That means six more months until he headed back to his parents. "Feels like it's been longer..." He then muttered.
"Right? Hard to believe the rowdy kids at school are now famous all over the world." Ryuji chuckled.
"Technically. No one knows who's behind the mask of the Phantom Thieves." Asuka corrected.
"And it's better that way." Homura added. "I mean, the police and other shinobi are already on our collective asses." She then reminded with a frown.
"Still, though, would anyone believe a bunch of delinquents and outcasts are the ones helping people through an alternate reality?" Akira questioned.
"...Yeah...damn our lives are weird." Asuka got out before blinking. "Well, weirder than our peers..." She then added under her breath.
"Don't you think we still have a lot to learn about each other though?" Ann soon asked. "Y'know, things like what kind of people we like...So, time to come clean, Ryuji." She soon declared, everyone's eyes focusing on the dyed blond.
"Me!?" Ryuji got out. "Uhhh, well...She's gotta have a good personality. I'm OK with anyone who's modest and nice..." He then admitted.
"What about if two girls with equally good personalities confessed to you at the same time?" Ann then asked.
"If they're equally nice?" Ryuji repeated with a thoughtful look on his face. "Well uh...she gotta be, you know...strong...fun. Ain't afraid of anyone judging her how she acts or looks. Just tryin' to enjoy her life while she's got it. Plus uh...b-big boobs kinda helps." He then stated, though the last bit in a little embarrassment with a blush on his face.
"You really had to add that last part, huh..." Akira muttered in a wry manner.
"Like I said before, I blame the shinobi turning us into perverts." Ann nonchalantly commented out loud.
"Moh..." Asuka whined with a puffed up cheek and a pout.
Homura however simply sighed in defeat. Sometimes she can somehow agree to that statement from now on.
"Hey, it's your turn, Asuka." Ryuji soon got out.
"Wha-?! M-Me!?" The Vice Leader squeaked out.
"Come on, we're all sharin'." The dyed blond stated.
"Only you shared." Akira pointed out.
"Well, I don't wanna be left out by everyone here." Ryuji responded in an indignant tone. "Come on, what's your type?" He then got out.
"Oh um...well...they would be...a rival." Asuka answered.
"A rival?" Ann repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Someone to always push me while I push them. We support each other, but are always trying to be better than one another. We're friends, sure, but...to see a fire in their eyes as we compete and push our limits...it's a wonderful thought to have." The Vice Leader explained, smiling a little.
"...So Homura in a way?" Ann assumed.
"Yeah." Asuka replied with a nod before it slowly dawned on her what she was implying. "W-Wait, d-do you mean like in a...what I want from a friend or like a romantic...mohhh..." She soon got out before groaning.
"Have you been paying attention to this conversation?" Akira questioned. "...Or, wait-" He then began.
"I-I...we're stepsisters! T-That doesn't mean anything! I just...um...got confused..." Asuka stammered out, sitting up and flailing her arms around. "Although, it would probably be the same sort of thing..." She then mumbled under her breath.
"Hey, don't gang up on Sis like that." Homura grumbled. "You're overstepping boundaries here." She then stated.
"Sorry, sorry." Ryuji apologized before letting out a smirk. "But now that everything is cleared up, what do you want from someone if you wanna date them?" He then questioned.
"E-Erm...um..." Homura stammered out as she turned away from the group. "I'd...I want people I like to be...uh...gentle but firm? I-I don't know how to explain it. Like...I want them to warm me up on the coldest nights, but cool me down on the hottest days. It's um...the best I can really describe it, really." She then explained, smiling a little as she felt her sister's arms wrap around her waist.
"..." Meanwhile Akira, Ryuji, and Ann stared owlishly at the tan skinned girl in the dark.
"...Asuka is different." Homura deadpanned.
"Just needed the clarification." Akira got out as he laid back down on the couch.
"What about you, Akira? C'mon, spill the beans. What kind of girl is your type?" Ryuji soon urged the Leader.
Akira went silent to think about it. "...One shrouded in mystery." He answered a few seconds later in a vague manner.
"...Oh..." Ryuji got out with a sly smile on his face. "I know what you're thinkin'." He then got out.
"You do not." Akira countered, looking at the dyed blond while still lying down.
"Yes I do! Holy shit, you're actually into-!" Ryuji got out in an excited manner, however...
"Quiet down!" Homura quietly snapped. "We're gonna get yelled at by the staff if you speak any louder." She then reminded.
However, in the dark, one or multiple girls in the room blushed.
"Well, we all answered honestly so far. It's your turn next." Ryuji got out before facing the ash blonde. "So, Ann Takamaki, what kinda guy do you-" He then began before...
GURGLE!
The conversation instantly stopped by the unnatural noise coming from the bathroom. "...That did not sound healthy." Akira muttered with widened eyes.
"M-My stomach...Hrgh...!" Mishima groaned from the bathroom before...various horrible sounds loudly echoed around the room. "Someone...help me..." He then pleaded before those horrible noises became violent.
"A-Aw, no!" Asuka exclaimed as she covered her face with her pillow.
"That doesn't sound good..." Ann got out in concern.
"Y'know, wasn't he drinkin' the tap water earlier...?" Ryuji remembered as everyone winced at realizing what happened. "That's like, the one thing you're not supposed to do when you're outta the country."
"I'm surprised you know that." Homura remarked.
"Hey, I know my shit. I know how to take care of my body." Ryuji stated in a confident tone.
"Most of the time..." Homura sighed as she rolled her eyes while covering her ears, hoping she didn't have to listen to Mishima shitting his guts out for the rest of the night.
(Tokyo, Shibuya, Shin Megami Apartment Complex)
It was a long day full of...well, not much. Going to work, then hanging out with Futaba and Morgana while getting her student's birthday present, a bit more driving practice, and then heading home to eat dinner, clean up and sleep.
For the city, it felt oddly...quiet? Like, there wasn't much going on despite nothing really changing. Maybe she had gotten used to all those conversations Asuka and Homura that she overhears.
Damn thin walls...
Well, they were coming back in two and a half days so things would go back to normal soon enough.
With that, Miyabi sighed as she crawled into her futon and closed her eyes...
And couldn't fall asleep.
After several minutes of trying to, she sat up and brushed her fingers through her white hair.
They were just going to wait until everyone came back from their trips? Doing nothing while Futaba's computer did all the work? This wasn't something a shinobi should do during their downtime. They should be out there training, or doing a mission, something that wasn't just twiddling their thumbs waiting.
They had to take initiative, before the enemy strikes first.
"But what to do..." Miyabi mumbled to herself, narrowing her golden eyes in the dark. "Futaba can't handle any training, Morgana is in a funk for some reason. There has to be something we can..." She then muttered.
Suddenly, something flashed in her mind.
"A Palace." Miyabi got out. "A Palace to conquer right as everyone gets back! That's it! But...who should we target...?" She then decided before wondering in a curious manner.
There was the Phan-Site poll, but she didn't trust it with her life. And waiting for Niijima-san's hard drive to fully compile wasn't an option.
"...I'll talk to the others tomorrow morning." Miyabi breathed out as she laid back down.
While they weren't strong enough to infiltrate by themselves, they could scout it out, get enough useful information to plan their approach, and then steal the Treasure all before their first week back was up. The trickiest part however was figuring out the keywords.
But that could all be worked out later with Futaba and Morgana. Right now, Miyabi could finally sleep with a smile on her face, ready and eager to take down another one of society's scumbags.
