Massive ice floes three times as big as the ships were falling from the sky wreaking havoc on the surface of the water. The screams of the terrified passengers were only surpassed by the thundering crashing of the massive pieces of ice.
Among the crowd of students, a hero made his way strategically to the center of the vessel to protect his classmates from a huge iceberg that would collide directly with them.
Todoroki's surroundings began to distort as his temperature rose. Flames began to erupt rapidly from his overheating body completely covering his arm, managing to concentrate his power on its upper part launching a powerful flare into the sky to melt the gigantic ice formation, but it was futile as it were more resistant than a common iceberg. However, the hero did not desist his attack, slowly consuming the block that continued its fall towards Nautilus.
"IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO SOMETHING, GET IT RIGHT!" The ashen boy demanded angrily. "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY, EXTRAS!" He yelled, using his momentum to reach the heights, getting as close as he could while staying out of danger range.
"HOWITZER... IMPACT!" A powerful explosion shattered the massive block of ice in its entirety, causing an icy haze to spread throughout the surrounding area.
The heroes were stunned by the power of their classmate, but the teachers did not flinch as they recognize their students' potential.
"Bakugo! That was impressive." Sero celebrated.
"DON'T FLATTER ME EXTRA!"
"Damn it Bakugo, just take the compliment." Kaminari caught his attention.
"EEEEH!" he growled through his teeth.
The pirates were making a lot of commotion from their ship, celebrating the accomplishments of both young heroes.
"INCREDIBLEEEE!" The captain was excitedly hopping up and down while waving his hands in the air.
"WOOOOOOAAAAAH!" Usopp, Franky and Chopper had starry eyes marveling at the intensity of the two attacks.
"I got goosebumps... Although..."
"You're a skeleton... You don't have skin," said the reindeer.
"Chopper san... you can't do that... you can't steal my lines." Said the skeleton kneeling on the ground surrounded by an aura of depression.
Jinbei and Robin watched them with a smile, silently approving the group of young heroes.
"What a lousy attitude." The cook complained.
"It appears they will not be a bother." Zoro commented.
"I guess I could say they'll be helpful." Nami said with interest as she looked at one of the boys.
Everyone cheered their first victory in that strange environment, but the shadows did not cease to appear. Now covering both ships, an iceberg twice the size of the rest was approaching.
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" Chopper and Usopp, as well as numerous students, ran in circles, screaming in terror.
Present Mic was at the highest point of the ship filling his lungs to produce a loud scream amplified by his suit's device. His voice exploded all over the place, slightly hurting the passengers' eardrums without even breaking the ice block.
"IT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO IT!"
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO IT?!"
"Santoryu..." A male voice was heard from the pirate ship, drawing everyone's attention to the green-haired pirate, who held two swords in his hands and a third one in his mouth, maintaining a solid position that highlighted all the muscles in his back and arms.
"TATSUMAKI!" A series of slashes formed a whirlwind that shattered the iceberg repeatedly, creating sleet that landed lightly on all surfaces.
The frost covered everything like a blanket, leaving the young heroes frozen but not because the wind and water were freezing… It was after the swordsman attack who they knew, was NOT the captain.
"AAAAAAAAH TOKOYAMI!" exclaimed Sato, who looked in his backpack for some candy to give to the sword's fanatic, as his sugar level dropped after witnessing three wonderful katanas do such a feat.
"Is that guy really not the captain?"
"I can't believe he follows orders from that idiot." Sero said, doubting the straw-hat boy.
The hail's impact with the frozen surface caused the ice sheet to vanish, making great icebergs rose from the sea, forming massive walls that mirrored everything around them, while a cold wind swept across the surface as if it were a glacier desert, displaying the most primitive and virgin aspect of the earth.
The ships' crews admired in awe the glaciers that had formed, managing to see their silhouettes projected in a beautiful range of blue hues.
Luffy approached the edge excited by the large mirrors, jumping on one of them to playfully pull his face, making grimaces, followed by the duo of goofballs who constantly followed him to his stupidities, arriving at an area where his reflection deformed his body into a "S" posing in such a way that his reflection seemed to have big breasts.
"Oi! Usopp, Chopper..." Called the captain, unbuttoning his shirt.
"Happiness Punch," he feigned a female voice and puffed out his chest which reflected exponentially bigger. "One hundred million berries per each" He mimicked Nami's pose and voice.
The three pirates burst out laughing in the frost, while the navigator sprouted numerous veins of anger.
"CUT THE CRAP!" Nami yelled with sharp shark-like teeth.
"Are we really being led by that group of idiots?" Eraserhead said repentantly, with a tick in his eye.
"Jinbei, take over, I need to talk to someone from the other ship... Sanji kun, come with me… you too, All Might." The two blonds escorted the orange-haired girl when the two ships paired up, allowing her an easy boarding.
"What do you think you're doing boarding our ship?" Eraserhead scolded.
Everyone looked alert to the pirate duo except for the fishmen who seemed not to mind the sudden interruption.
"I'M SORRY, I KNOW THEY SHOULD RESPECT YOUR SPACE, BUT THE NAVIGATOR WANTS TO TALK WITH YOU." Said Yagi, presenting both pirates behind him "THIS IS MISS NAVIGATOR NAMI, AND THE YOUNG COOK SANJI."
"Nice to meet you." The orange-haired girl waved her hand, feeling the unpleasant sight of various present.
Kaminari, Mineta, Sero and Present Mic were enchanted by the pirate's beauty.
"UHOOOOOOOO Such beauties!" Said the cook blushing the girls.
"YOUNG SANJI, PLEASE BEHAVE, THEY ARE UNDERAGE." He attempted to calm the cook down, feeling sorry for the girls.
"That won't stop him." Nami expressed concern after recalling his behavior with Vivi, Shirahoshi, and Pudding, all of whom were only 16 years old.
"Why are they here?" Eraserhead took the initiative, requesting the students to keep their distance.
"We'd like to propose a truce... You need to follow my instructions if you want to survive in the Lost World."
"GOOD THINKING MISS NAMI, WITH A TRUCE YOU CAN BOTH FEEL MORE AT EASE."
"Lost world?"
"That's how I called it." She answered proudly smiling. "Or should it still be New World?" She asked herself, resting her index finger on her chin.
"WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THAT!"
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO CALL NAMI SWAN LIKE THAT!" The cook turned irritably away from the navigator side, approaching the hero with anger issues.
"Stop it, Sanji." The blond stopped instantly at her request, giving the boy an annoyed look.
"Calm down Kachan!"
"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, YOU FUCKING NERD!"
"CALM DOWN YOU TWO!" Aizawa's scarf began to levitate simultaneously with his eyes glowing red intimidating both students. "Sorry for the interruption, please continue..." He said calmly, regaining his tired appearance.
"Ah... yes..." The interaction of the three of them made the navigator uncomfortable.
"The weather and phenomena we are witnessing are comparable to those of the Gran Line, except that it is no longer a sea that divides the planet, but rather two precise spots of the old world."
The heroes remembered the explanation given to them that day in the cave about the Red Line dividing the earth in half and a wild sea traveling perpendicularly, understanding what the young navigator was referring to.
"I'll need to know what skills you have so I can figure out how to use them."
"NO! IT'S A TRICK, THEY JUST WANT TO APPEAR FRIENDLY FOR US TO TELL THEM ABOUT OUR POWERS SO THEY CAN HAVE AN ADVANTAGE OVER US." Nami just sighed at Iida's suspicions.
"Tch... If we wanted you dead, we'd have left you with the sea kings... Baaaaka." the blond mocked a bit exasperated.
"THAT'S NOT THE WAY TO BUILD TRUST YOUNG SANJI..."
"Shut up, Zombie, don't think I forgot about earlier!"
"But I was just answering the ladies' some questions..." He thought nervously as a drop ran down his scalp.
The two blonds' conversation proceeded in the background, while the navigator's eyes looked for a certain hero among those present.
"You, what's your name?" She addressed the young man with two-colored hair.
"Shoto Todoroki.
"MAKE ME YOUR SLAVE!" Mineta yelled in tears as he saw that the girl was no longer addressing the adults.
"MINETA!"
"Shoto... Your mixed abilities will be of crucial importance to preserve the lives of your nakamas... If you want to take full advantage of it, I could teach you." She winked mischievously. "You will learn, and we will benefit from your ability to travel more safely. What do you think?"
"DON'T LISTEN TO HER TODOROKI SAN!"
"All Might... "What are your thoughts?" Eraserhead sought his partner's opinion.
"I TRUST THEM COMPLETELY."
"Enough to leave the students' lives in their hands?"
"YES." He answered without hesitation with a defiant look at Aizawa.
Stating that question only brought the lives of 20 students under his responsibility; but with Captain Mäkelä's attitude, unpredictable weather and huge monsters, it was the safest option, making Aizawa to had no other choice but to take his word for it.
"Shoto?" asked Nami
"I must think about it first..."
"Understandable... But remember; It's a limited time offer, with my help you could bring out your full potential. Think about it ShoOoto-kun.~ -She said playfully.
The flirty pirate left the guys with a crush, while two of the female students were discussing how handsome the cook was, being Jiro the one who break the charm by remarking that he looks like a womanizer.
Both pirates returned to their ship, leaving the Symbol of Peace behind, knowing that the heroes' vessel would be following them.
"What are you thinking, entrusting our lives to them?" Midnight was dissatisfied with both teachers' decisions.
"I KNOW IT SOUNDS CRAZY, BUT THEY'RE NOT ACTUALLY BAD PEOPLE."
"Several conservationists almost died because of them!"
"You know I don't like to interrupt conversations... But we need to fish; we don't have anything to eat." Present Mic met his comrades.
"You're right, we have to organize the students..."
Time was ticking away as the two ships continued on their way... The gigantic glaciers were affected by the warm change in temperature, melting the ridges forming beautiful crystalline waterfalls, astounding the heroes as they had never before witnessed a setting that stunning and breathtaking.
The light disappeared completely, even though it was daytime the sky darkened disabling everyone's sight, strangely there was no trace of the moon or stars, leaving them sailing blindly in the icy waters for a brief moment until the sky was painted in shades of green and blue projecting lights in constant movement.
An unusual aurora borealis seemed to dance to the sound of the waves, reflecting its brilliant hues in the water while leaving a brilliant trail for both ships to follow.
The breathtaking scene of lights mesmerized the heroes, who remained motionless after this beautiful scenery.
The pirates, on the other hand, relaxed on the grass, appreciating the beauty of the skies without worrying about the path. Sanji and Jinbei came out from the room and joined the rest of their nakamas carrying various blankets, chocolate, and tea with them, so they could enjoy with more comfort and warmth.
The students looked enviously at the pirates, since their sudden departure had not allowed them to have breakfast and it was straw hat fault that they had nothing to eat. Their eyes glazed over and drool gushed like a river after seeing how many trays full of desserts were being brought out to accompany their hot drinks.
"Oi, what are you waiting for? There's enough for everyone." invited the cook to the hungry heroes.
"Who, us?"
"I am a cook ... It is my responsibility to feed everyone who is hungry." He said it with a lovely smile that enchanted the hungry.
"He's an angel! ~" Thanked Mina, Uraraka, Aoyama, Hagakure, Kaminari and Sero who couldn't stand the hunger anymore.
"WE WOULDN'T BE HUNGRY IF THAT IDIOT HADN'T EATEN EVERYTHING TO BEGIN WITH."
"An apology, Ruffy-kun can be a bit uncontrollable at times."
"SHUT UP, BARRACUDA!"
"Bakugo, be nicer, we're being invited..." Aizawa scolded.
"I said, I'm sorry Bakago."
"HE CALLED HIM BAKAGO" The students almost choked on their own saliva, preparing for the worst, coming from Bakugo.
"HOW DID YOU CALL ME, SHITTY GUM?"
"Bakago" He answered without giving it a second thought.
"He said it again!"
"At last, someone calls him that to his face." Said Kaminari mockingly.
"KEEP IT UP AND I'LL KILL YOU!" Katsuki dedicated his words to the pirate and Kaminari.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Luffy kept laughing after the explosive's threats.
The Nautilus passengers boarded the Thousand Sunny where they were greeted warmly by the pirates, opening space for them to contemplate the wonderful phenomenon in the sky together, accompanied by hot drinks and many delicacies served on the surface of the main mast.
They weren't sure if it was the hunger, but the sweets were amazing; even the student fan of pastries applauded what he tasted, being invited by the blond to the kitchen to teach him a little of his technique, accepting a little nervous but enthusiastic.
"What do you think? It's good, isn't it?" asked the captain.
"Mhm!" The heroes could not hold back their tears after the cook's generosity.
The enmity between heroes and pirates disappeared in a moment of togetherness where they considered themselves just one big group of travelers on their way to the unknown.
They all sat in a circle admiring the surroundings grateful for their hospitality as more blankets and coffee arrived.
"Thank you so much Sanji-kun"
"It's a pleasure to serve such a beautiful lady." He told the heroine, making her blush.
"Kayama, Nerumi Kayama... Better known as Midnight." Nerumi extended her hand to the gentleman. "My ability is the scent of sleep... My body emits a smell that induces slumber." She introduced herself as the navigator requested, accepting the truce.
"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING AT MIDNIGHT?" Present Mic demanded confused, while Eraserhead observed his companion's behavior.
"If we're going to be in this together, we must cooperate? And I expect the same from you ~ " She murmured while coquettishly caressing the pirate's chin, preying on his weakness for women.
"AYEEEEE KAYAMA SWAAAAN~~~ "
"It's a Simp" Jiro whispered feeling pity for him.
"Sanji, you don't change." Said Nami agreeing with the young rocker.
"I'm black leg Sanji, it's a pleasure." The blond took the heroine's hand and knelt down in front of her to properly introduce himself.
"Black leg, why that nickname?" She inquired, flushed.
"I fight with my legs."
"Oh" She replied disappointed.
"A KICK FIGHTING STYLE!" Deku jumped up from the ground, excited to encounter someone with a combat technique comparable to his.
"What is your quirk, Mr. Sanji?" Iida asked curiously.
"I don't have one... Possessing an ability was not as common as it is now." He answered serving the last tray of dessert, to then took a seat next to his nakamas.
"Ooooohhh! He's right. Quirks are kind of recent in comparison." Sero reasoned.
"That means they come from a time more than a thousand years in the past." Theorized Ojiro.
"Then how many of you have quirks?" asked the Professor of the group.
"Quirks?" The captain bowed his head
"DEVIL'S FRUIT, YOUNG LUFFY."
"Aaaaah! Akuma no mi" Luffy hit his hand with his fist as he realized what they meant. "Only four of us."
"Wait... You guys belong to the past?!" asked the fishmen astonished.
"That's right." Nami answered.
"Then... You can't be! Are you a pure-blooded fishman?" They turned to face Jinbei, who just nodded, causing the fishmen to scream like young boy band fans.
"How would you describe your homeland?" Both had hundreds of questions that only he could answer.
Everyone ignored the pair of enthusiastic crooks in the background, who bombarded the befuddled fishman with questions.
"I'm Monkey D. Luffy, a rubber man." He replied, stretching his cheeks and making ludicrous gestures with them, startling some of the heroes who glanced at him with disgust as he pulled his lower eyelids.
"Soul King Brook, Musician... I died. End of story," he said cheekily as he took a sip of his tea.
"THAT WAS IT?"
"Yohohohoho"
"But what is your power?" Deku asked interestedly.
"Resurrect once"
"WHAT A USELESS POWER!" Bakugo mocked.
"How severe! Yohohohoho"
"Tony Tony Chopper, Doctor... I'm a reindeer with the ability to transform into a human...or something similar, hehe." He said scratching his antlers, confused whether to say it that way after not being able to complete his transformation into a human.
"Kawaiii~." The girls couldn't handle such an adorable being.
"Nico Robin, archaeologist." With a slight movement, a spiral of arms emerged from her elbow, being Shoji particularly intrigued by her skill because its similarity to his Quirk. "I can bloom parts of my body wherever I want."
"TELL US MORE ROBIN-SAN!" The depraved pair requested.
"Behave yourselves." Jiro stuck his earphones-jacks in Kaminari and Mineta's ears.
"Wait! Only you four have quirks?" Ochako asked puzzled.
"What about the samurai?" asked Tokoyami attentively.
"Moss-head? He has the ability to get lost in a fishbowl."
"What did you say number four?" The green-haired insult caused several veins to pop out on the blond's forehead.
The cook's leg was engulfed in flames intercepting the swordsman's katanas. Everything happened so quickly that they didn't realize who initiated the physical fight. The slashing air and flames were flung at random where they were battling, and both eventually retreated following the impact of their last attack.
"THAT'S COMMON, ISN'T IT?" asked the hero with a drop running down his face as he noticed how it was the second time it happened that day.
"Fufufu." They've been very lively lately.
"Sanji-san! You said you have no quirk, but... Eto... Your leg..." asked the freckled hero curiously, pointing at the cook's fiery red leg.
"I have no akuma no mi ability, or Quirk as you call them... I can ignite my leg with high-speed friction from my spins" Explained the cook taking a cigarette to his mouth.
The young freckled dropped his body in shock as he could not belive what his ears.
"Un... un-believable." The sweat was pouring down... That man, younger than Hawks, had found a way to fight without the need of a Quirk, and could take on the dangerous swordsman one on one.
"I THINK I WAS WRONG WHEN I SAID THAT WITHOUT A QUIRK IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO BECOME A HERO." Midoriya recalled his mentor's recent words.
"So, you... You don't have Quirk either?" Tokoyami asked startled.
"With my goal, having one would be dishonorable... Training my body and swordsmanship is all I need." He stated, sheathing his katanas.
"That's why my Quirk didn't work on him" thought Aizawa attentive to his explanations.
"That can't be..." Kirishima clenched his fists, shaking with emotion. "THAT'S SO MANLY!"
"Don't flatter them, Kirishima." Iida scolded.
"It's a bit rude to ask about our skills without presenting yours, don't you think?" The archaeologist made an inquisitive remark, leading several of them to swallow their saliva.
"I'AM HIZASHI YAMADA, OR YOU CAN CALL ME PRESENT MIC! MY QUIRK IS MY POWERFUL VOICE!"
"Why do they all have such long names? This will take forever." The swordsman grumbled.
"WHAT A RUDE MAN!"
The introductions proceeded as the Sunny drove out of the shadowy region dragging the Nautilus II.
Several voices were heard having to stop their presentations to pay attention to the sound coming from the glaciers. The intrigued crew members approached the gunwale to take a closer look at the ice fragments.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" Cried the invisible girl who could see a person where her reflection should be.
The legs of a few heroes and pirates began to quiver as they discovered that the glaciers not only reflected themselves, but that dozens of individuals dressed in cloths from various eras continued to appear behind them.
The detailed silhouettes interacted with the crew members as if they were with them, yet no one could see or feel their interactions out of the glacier.
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH GHOSTS!" Brook screamed in terror.
"YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN BE SCARED OF THAT!" the boys yelled at the skeleton.
"Amazing" muttered Tokoyami enjoying the gloomy scene.
Wailing and sobbing resonated throughout the territory as the spirits of the deceased smashed the glaciers in an attempt to warn the travelers.
"Retreat..."
"Don't go on..."
"Food..."
"Sorry..."
"Please..."
"Spare us..."
"Monsters..."
"Mother..."
The wailing went on and on, turning the friendly atmosphere into a nightmare.
"Make them stop!" Usopp, Chopper, Aoyama, and Koda all put their hands over their ears.
"Should we listen to them?" Momo asked frightened
"No, Shishishi… LET'S CONTINUE!" ordered straw hat.
"THEY ARE INSANE!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... HERE IS THE CREW WITH SUICIDAL TENDENCIES THAT YUE WAS LOOKING FOR." Present Mic mocked with the teachers.
"What is Yue?" Luffy asked out of curiosity, appearing out of nowhere and making Mic spit out of fright.
"THE COMATOSE GIRL." Reply Mic, confusing the straw-hat boy.
"Comatose?"
"YEOH, ALL MIGHT'S DEAD FRIEND" The blond said sarcastically.
"Mic... Behave yourself," Eraserhead scolded.
"So, the Oracle did have a name." Nami approached accusingly.
"Oracle?" The heroes hadn't heard Yagi call her that before.
"I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT HER NAME IS, BUT THAT'S HOW WE CALL HER." Yagi clarified, revealing to everyone that he really didn't know her true identity.
Robin approached intrigued after the words of the frail hero.
"What's the matter, Robin?" Nami noted the change in the archeologist's expression.
"A person who no one knows its name and possesses great knowledge..." Robin appeared thoughtful, bringing her thumb and index finger to her chin, as she managed to remember.
"The research format Mr. All Might provide us... It's something I've seen before..."
Toshinori swallowed after hearing the mysterious pirate; he needed to disguise his anxiety. The goal of concealing her identity was to avoid being identified by the travelers of her period.
"All Might... You seem nervous..." The navigator stated accusingly, drawing the attention of both professors, who, like the pirates, had no idea the girl's origin.
"NO... IT'S NOT ANYTHING." drops streamed down his forehead as he tried to make amends with a guilty smile.
"He's a terrible liar."
"Could it be?..."
"Hmm?"
"The government is actively seeking for someone, but they have no idea who it is; mainly because they don't know its name or physical appearance… Therefore, it's seen more as a rumor."
"So, it's just a Myth?" Eraserhead questioned, attentive to the conversation.
"That's what they want us to believe..."
"What do you mean?"
"There's no way to locate it, but the revolutionaries have a deal with Them."
"Them?" Nami asked
"Some believe it is a group of people that vanish after making contact, while others believe it is simply one person who constantly changes appearence and never repeats..."
"Shape-shifting?... Bon Clay's ability?"
"Bon... BON CHAN!" Several tears escaped from the captain's eyes thinking that someone had inherited his fruit.
"No... Mr. 2 already possessed his ability when there were rumors of Them. The Baroque tried to make contact but never got even close, so they assumed it was a myth... It wasn't until my first month with the revolutionaries that I managed to confirm their existence.
"What do they want with the revolutionaries?" Jinbei asked in surprise.
"To make use of Ivankov's ability; In exchange they give information... Their investigations are always reliable and accurate, the problem is that it only appears when they need. And they always looks different, so we never know when it's them."
Everyone focused on the conversation, remaining completely silent to hear the story about the mysterious passenger.
"It never crossed my mind that she was Them ... But from Mr. All Might's expression, I can deduce that we transported that person. Am I right?"
A chill rushed through Toshinori's body as he listened to the archaeologist's explanation; part of her version coincided with the one given to him by the heart pirates; moreover, if Robin had previously had contact with "them," she should not be portrayed as a threat.
"THAT'S CORRECT." He replied a little uneasily.
"Luffy... She may know something about the location of the last Road Poneglyph."
"PONEGLYPH? ARE THOSE THE STONES FROM THE MUSEUM?" asked Yamada.
"THAT'S CORRECT."
"Why are you looking for them?" The 3 teachers were genuinely intrigued.
"They lead to the One Piece," answered Robin.
"ONE PIECE... WHAT IS THAT?"
The hero's loud voice reached the ears of the students who wondered what they were talking about.
"Don't they know what the One Piece is?" questioned the long-nosed who had previously been chatting with the young heroes.
"Are they idiots?" asked the captain, picking his nose after being hit by the navigator, bouncing his head back to the same spot.
"Remember they don't know! The history got erased."
"Oh, yeah… right."
The sniper stood on the mast bench taking a deep breath to tell the origin of the great pirate era.
"LISTEN HEROES, IT'S TIME FOR THE GREAT CAPTAIN USOOOOOPPU TO TELL YOU ABOUT: THE FIRST MAN TO SAIL AROUND THE WORLD WHO EARNED THE TITLE OF KING OF THE PIRATES." The long-nosed caused a commotion, attracting the attention of everyone on the ship.
"WEALTH, FAME, POWER… GOLD ROGER, THE KING OF THE PIRATES OBTAINED THIS AND EVERYTHING ELSE THE WORLD HAD TO OFFER, AND HIS DYING WORDS DROVE COUNTLESS SOULS TO THE SEAS" Usopp stopped his narration to deepen his voice and began to guffaw, bringing his hands to his waist. "YOU WANT MY TREASURE? YOU CAN HAVE IT! I LEFT EVERYTHING I GATHERED TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE! NOW YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO FIND IT!"
"THE ONE PIECE!" Exclaimed the young heroes excitedly after the brief story.
"THESE WORDS LURED MEN TO THE GRAND LINE IN PURSUIT OF DREAMS GREATER THAN THEY'VE EVER DARED TO IMAGINE! THAT WAS THE TIME KNOWN AS THE 'GREAT PIRATE ERA'!"
"Hold on! The pirate era was born from the death of their king?" Mineta asked in awe.
"Are they all after the same treasure?"
"That was it? He didn't leave any more clues?" Kirishima asked.
"Idiot, they killed him before he gave more information." Bakugo grumbled
"You need to travel around the world to seek answers." said the Cyborg
"Every island and culture have a trail that can lead to the One Piece." Jinbei stated.
"Follow his steps… That's so romantic!" Kirishima said enthusiastically
"It's a race against time to find it before someone else does..." Midoriya murmured starting to ramble, externalizing his thoughts about everything involved and the significance of the previous remarks.
"What's wrong with him?" asked Usopp
"That's how he is." Uravity answered
"It's been twenty-two years and no one has succeeded." Brook added.
"Between the mystery, the route and the enemies… It is an almost impossible task." continued Usopp.
"And you..."
"We only need one more Poneglyph to get its location." Nami said proudly, sticking out her tongue mischievously.
Some of the heroes were moved to tears by the magnificent achievement of the straw hats. Understanding why they felt at ease in the face of danger of that stormy sea.
"HOW INCREDIBLE!" Ojiro, Shoji, Sero and Deku shouted in unison.
"HOW ROMANTIC!" said Mina, Hagakure and Ochako.
"HOW MANLY!" Kirishima was on the verge of tears.
"The past is impressive," Todoroki stated in surprise.
"I really wish I had read about it in history books." Momo thoughtfully put her hand to her mouth.
"The man who sailed all over the world..."
"And what's at the end of the journey?" Kaminari asked excitedly.
"We don't know yet." Usopp answered, getting down from his seat.
"The One Piece does exist?"
"What is it?"
The curious students began to bombard with questions.
"We'll find out." Luffy exclaimed with a big, determined smile.
"You guys are crazy," said Midnight captivated.
"You're going on an adventure to a dangerous destination and you don't even know if it exists!" Asui was the best at blurting things out.
"Shishishi"
"We are on our way to fulfill our dreams!" Luffy said.
"Dreams?"
"What are your dreams? If it's not too much of an indiscretion," asked the young green-haired.
"I want to become someone who can cure all diseases!" The little reindeer jumped up proudly.
"How noble..."
"To find the All Blue..." Sanji smiled enthusiastically.
"What's that?" The heroines asked curiously.
"A legend about a sea with all kind of fish, but no one has been able to confirm it."
"How fantastic!"
"A paradise for a chef." Midnight said mischievously, making Sanji and Brook blush.
"Drawing a map of the world." They hadn't seen the navigator with such a big smile since they met her.
"Don't they have any yet?" The intelligent students in the class inquired, to which Nami shook her head.
"Being a brave sea warrior of the sea!" The shooter celebrated enthusiastically.
"Oh, how manly," said Sato stealing his line from Kirishima who only confirmed it.
"To achieve my queen's dream, a coexistence between humans and merpeople." The Helmsman mentioned with melancholy.
"Please Boss Jinbei!" The two criminals celebrated with tears in their eyes.
"Jinbei..." Whispered the heroes as they saw his expression.
"Make the Thousand Sunny travel around the world!" Franky danced backwards in excitement, ending with his typical star-shaped pose. "SUUUPEEER." Some youngsters imitated him after finishing his pose, shouting along with him.
"How ridiculous..." thought Jiro, Bakugo and Aizawa.
"Thousand Sunny?"
"THAT'S THE NAME OF THE SHIP"
"WOAAAAAAAH!"
"What a name for a shitty boat..." Katsuki grumbled between his teeth.
"TAKE THAT BACK BAKAGO!"
"HOW DID YOU CALL ME A STUPID PERVERT?"
"Oi... I'm not stupid..." The cyborg complaint offended.
"He didn't say anything about being a pervert." A drplet of sweat broke out on the students' faces.
"Discover the lost history of the void century," the mysterious woman confessed motivated.
"WE ALSO WANT TO KNOW NEE-SAN!" shouted Mina accompanied by other classmates.
"To meet an old friend on the other side of the world." The melancholic skeleton said as he turned to face the horizon.
"How beautiful!"
"Why don't you just go back then?" grumbled the explosive.
"To be the best swordsman in the world." Said Zoro, wiping the blade of his katana with an uchiko ball.
"What? There is someone better than you?" Fumikage asked surprised, refusing to believe it.
"Tch... Not for long," he snorted irritated.
"I'll become the king of pirates and find the one piece!"
"WUUUUUUOOOOH!" shouted several of the males.
"Such a big dream for someone so young!" Nerumi said with a smile.
"He reminds me of some of you," said Aizawa as he turned to face the top three students.
"It appears that someone developed a fondness for his students." Yamada snorted.
"Not at all..."
The young apprentice heroes scratched their heads in embarrassment.
"Now our goals don't seem so impressive. "Said an embarrassed Ochako who was doing it for money.
"Huh?" The pirates tilt their heads in confusion.
"We all want to become professional heroes for different reasons." Momo explained.
"But heroes are cool!" The captain cheered encouraging the young woman who was still unsure of her motivation.
"You shouldn't denigrate your goal regardless of the motivation; it's still an honorable job," Jinbei added.
"Heh, you are right." Ochako mentioned a little more self-confident.
"Shishishi"
Despite being invited, the heroes felt like a burden, so they began to board their ship again by casting off the moorings that connected them during the brief recess.
The cook left for the second floor, while the remaining students discussed their reasoning for choosing that path.
"Sanji san, where are you going?" Nerumi asked, being the last tutor on the pirate ship.
"It's almost time to eat, I can't let anyone go hungry."
"He's such a gentleman."
"I hope it's not too much trouble to serve us all."
"NOT AT ALL MIDNIGHT CHWAAAAAAAN~ -"The cook's eyes turned into hearts as he started swirling around her.
"Can we help you?" Sato and Mina approached, followed by Bakugo, who pretended to be uninterested carrying his hands in his pockets.
"It's not necessary, but if you like I'll be more than grateful." He said kindly with a sweet smile on his face.
The pleasant conversation diverted the passengers' attention away from the road ahead. The cold had been replaced by a warm breeze, but the water was still icy, a combination that did not please the navigator who withdrew away from the others to follow the behavior of the current, noting that it had vanished along with the powerful wind.
"Sanji kun Wait!" She stopped her comrade and the young volunteers accompanying him. "Warm breeze in icy waters? Not a good sign."
"Jinbei!"
"What's wrong Nami?"
"Did we enter the Calm Belt again?" Mina asked frightened.
"No... Worse..." The navigator pupils retracted showing her fear.
"WHAT COULD BE WORSE THAN THE SEA KINGS?!" Midnight complained worriedly along with the students.
The orange-haired girl's reaction to her surroundings froze the heroes, who had no idea what was going on. The pirates were struck by the navigator's frightened gesture; they knew she could resolve it, but she was also in charge of an inexperienced crew.
"YOU WILL STAY WITH US!" She commanded to the five heroes who were still in the Sunny.
A huge blast of wind hit the Sunny's sails, and part of the sea began to form currents in different directions that collided with each other leading nowhere.
"NAUTILUS, FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER! NOW!" She called out to the ship, which was not far away.
The heroes and fishmen stood attentively, ready to accept orders without question.
"All to port!... Zoro! Turn the back sail to the right! We need to take advantage of the wind to deflect us!"
"NAUTILUS! DON'T DEVIAN FROM OUR LEFT!"
"YES!" The crew members of the metal vessel obeyed.
The cross current made it impossible for the heroes' ship to navigate, slowing them considerably, unlike the wind in the sails which aided the Sunny the Nautilus was unable to get into the desired position because it couldn't use the wind.
"What's wrong? Why aren't they following us?" Hagakure reacted worriedly.
"IT MUST BE DUE TO THE TYPE OF SHIP! IT'S POWERED BY A SUBMERGED MOTOR!" Franky responded with concern.
"What I feared, that design is not suitable for these conditions!"
"IF THEY DON'T HAVE MOMENTUM, THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO GET OUT!"
"WHAT'S HAPPENING, NAMI?" Mic called from the other ship with his quirk as he saw that his ship refused to turn.
The navigator left the ship in the hands of her nakamas to focus on her wrist.
"As I feared..." She murmured as she observed the needle of a log pose pointing completely skyward.
The young girl ran in the direction of the heroes to see the behavior of the water, noticing that the flow of the waves was there except for few circular forms that showed no stream, creating water mirrors.
The heroes watched carefully the same as the navigator, not understanding what was happening.
"WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?" Mic's voice managed to reach the pirates' ears despite the long distance between them.
The navigator's eyes lost their sparkle as she saw how Nautilus pinked in one of the water mirrors, causing her to give a drastic command.
"IT'S TOO LATE! LEAVE THE SHIP NOW! DO NOT MAKE CONTACT WITH THE WATER AND MOVE AWAY FROM THE CIRCUMFERENCES OR YOU WILL BE EJECTED!" The effort she made for her voice to reach the Nautilus hurt her throat, yet she gave a radical order knowing the extent of the heroes' skills, knowing they could get out of it.
The heroes didn't quite comprehend her quick and extreme order, but her reaction made their blood run cold; the young woman for the first time appeared afraid… When even with the sea kings she managed to retain her cool... What was happening to make her feel that way?
Water mirrors started to rise, becoming enormous mounds that changed into water pillars that shot forcefully upward until they made contact with the clouds.
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH! KNOCK UP STREAM!" screamed Usopp and Chopper in terror.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Bakugo's eyes widened completely losing his irritated gesture. He finally was able to understand what was going on.
His instincts kicked in immediately, jumping off board to go after his classmates, quickly as he understood Nami's order.
"WAIT KATSUKI, IT'S DANGEROUS!" screamed the navigator as the explosive boy began to go towards the ship.
The cook took the initiative and leapt to the heights after realizing how urgent the situation was. Quickly making his way through the air and landing on the ship next to Bakugo.
"ROUND FACE! RAVEN! BRING AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN TO THE PIRATE SHIP!" He ordered, grabbing his red-haired friend and the elegant blond who held onto his neck, retreating back to the Sunny.
Sanji took Jiro and the weaker "voice" belonging to Koda, turning around with the 3 remaining ladies who were moving around using their Quirks on their classmates.
"Get going Sanji san! They need our quirk, we can't abandon them yet!" Said Ochako running between her companions to levitate them while Froppy and Momo caught them.
Sanji reluctantly agreed to the heroines' demands, knowing that he could not take them without fulfilling their duty, abandoning the ship carrying the 2 students.
"WE ARE GOING TO DIE!" Mineta and Kaminari cried.
"LEAVE THE SHIP, HEAD FOR THE SUNNY!" The navigator's anxious cries barely reached the Nautilus that could not move from its position.
"ROBIN, LUFFY, JINBEI!" She called out to her nakamas to help them evacuate.
It wasn't long before the water mirror where the ship was pinking also shot out, launching the Nautilus II and its crew into the air.
All the passengers found themselves falling, surrounded by multiple pillars of strong vertical water currents.
In a quick maneuver Cellophane threw tape from his elbows at some of his classmates, one of the captains and teacher managing to keep them together; among them Eraserhead who caught 2 youngsters and Shoji who created more limbs taking the remaining 2 teachers.
Uraraka used her abilities to float most of her friends, but failing to reach Cellophane's tapes, they were at the mercy of the strong winds dragging them into the vertical current.
Mineta was able to attach his spheres to Froppy, who was looking for an opportunity to grab his friends who were washed away by the storm.
"TSUYU!" Yaomomo yelled in panic as the young girl broke free from Cellophane's tape, reaching out to take her by the hand.
"I need to go get the others." Creatie was nervous since Tsuyu's readiness made her realize that every second counted; creating from her shoulder a rope that attached to her little classmate's spheres.
Once secured, Froppy let go, letting herself be carried through the ravaging winds towards the large pillar of water.
"Mineta... When we get close to them, stick spheres at my tongue."
"Can you bear their weights?"
"Our first priority is to save them... The rest doesn't matter." Froppy replied decisively.
The brave heroine succeeded to catch Ojiro and Tokoyami, who were unable to fight the fierce winds... The four continued at the mercy of the wind until they reached Deku who had captured Ochako and the other fishman with his whips, throwing one more to Tsuyu so as not to hurt her tongue any more.
Meanwhile all the heroes were secured by Sero who had been in charge of trapping most of them, however they were beginning to be affected by the strong winds too even with the intercalated weights of his fellow heroes, being the minority affected by Uravity to kept them floating in a middle point, but that did not prevent them from being sucked through the air towards pillars of water.
An arm coming from the Sunny wrapped the young man's waist, dragging them into the safe zone, but the force applied caused several of the straps to burst away, leaving some of the heroes in mid-air.
Multiple hands sprang from their bodies, grabbing each other and preventing them from separating.
"ROBIN SAN!" Shoji felt relieved as he recognized the archaeologist's ability, grabbing him and the rest of them.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Creatie's terrified scream damaged her friends' eardrums.
"WHAT'S WRONG YAOYOROZU?!" All Might reacted worriedly.
"THE ROPE BROKE, I LOST FROPPY!" She answered in tears.
The violent wind and the lack of items to cling onto made escape from the Knock up torrent impossible, as the heroes who had lost contact with Yaomomo become imprisoned by the enormous column of water.
In an unexpected twist, Mäkelä swam downstream against the current for as long as possible unable to escape, but maintaining everyone at a midpoint without being shot upwards like the rest of the fish.
A shadow appeared from the bottom of the waterspout, rapidly approaching the helpless group and exposing its identity.
Jinbei grabbed his fellow fishman, letting himself be dragged by the current in a diagonal direction so that with his great strength and speed they could get out of the great column of water.
"JINBEI SAMAAAAAAAAAA" The heroes screamed in tears as they managed to get out of the cyclone.
Bakugo was stopped by Franky who prevented him from returning to rescue the rest after reaching the Sunny. "LET ME GO STUPID PERVERT"
"Stop fighting... Your skills are nothing compared to the strength of the sea" Zoro scolded the young explosive.
"He-He-He! Got them!" said the captain cheerfully pulling Jinbei back to the ship with everyone else.
Nami relievedly laid her hands on her chest… Everyone knew her for her compassion for defenseless children, and even if the heroes knew how to take care of themselves, she couldn't help but feel bad for not considering in the ship's design in her calculations.
The professors tallied the students, relieved that the group was complete, but the storm was far from ended.
They were still in the middle of an infestation of Knock up streams, but thanks to Nami's skill and the pirate's teamwork, Sunny navigated smoothly through the vertical currents avoiding each one of them, finally finding a clearing that led them out of the storm.
The heroes were still shivering like freshly bathed Chihuahuas; most of them wanted to thank the pirates for saving them, but they were still nauseated from the panic; while the others sobbed as they feared they wouldn't make it out of the storm.
The fishmen kept apologizing after not being able to control the ship, leading them to this situation.
"Ow, you don't have to apologize; that ship model was not designed to withstand the force of the vertical currents." Franky attempted to cheer them up.
"I must apologize for not contemplating the capabilities of your ship." The navigator said regretfully.
"The Lost World is scary... The Lost World is scary... The Lost World is terrifying..." Mineta kept repeating, swaying on his back.
All Might approached gratefully and embarrassed in front of the captain.
"STRAW HATS... I AM INDEBTED TO YOU; NO AMOUNT OF MONEY WILL BE ENOUGH TO THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR US TODAY." The hero bowed before Luffy.
"Oi oi, what are you doing? A hero shouldn't bow to pirates," Usopp scolded.
"It's okay Shaggy... We're nakamas," said nonchalantly with his characteristic smile.
"It seems you have no other choice but to stay on the Sunny." Nami invited the shocked heroes.
"Sanji, we need something sweet to take the fright out of them." Said the reindeer, seeing how the blond had gone ahead and returned with a tray of bread for the youngsters.
"Here… have some bread for the scare," said Brook.
"I DON'T NEED YOUR FILTHY BREAD, I NEED ANSWERS!" The irate explosive grumbled, pointing at the cook.
"Bakugo, don't be rude," Iida scolded.
"SHUT UP YOU FUCKING EXTRA"
"Oi oi oi oi oi oi..." Luffy, Zoro and Usopp waved their palms in disapproval.
"YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T HAVE QUIRK!"
"Devil's fruit," Chopper corrected, with a cute grin on his face and a sparkle in his eye.
"SHUT UP!" Katsuki growled in irritation at the reindeer hurting his feelings, which enraged the heroines, who began to reprimand him collectively.
"Who would have thought… They ganged up." Mineta said in a low voice, seeing how they all complained about the explosive behavior.
"HIT HIM WITH THE CHAIR!" Usopp yelled with one hand in the air and another in his mouth to make his voice sound louder, making fun of the show; being imitated by Kaminari.
"Usopp san, Kaminari... don't encourage them..." said Nerumi embarrassed
"Sanji san... Kachan is right... You said that you don't possess any quirk but you were able to walk through the air." Deku approached intrigued.
"You mean Geppo?" Franky asked
"Geppo?"
"A skill of the Ryokushiki arts," Usopp added.
"Hey Usopp, how do you know? You weren't there," asked Luffy, tilting his head curiously.
"Oh you see, Sogekiiiingu told me." The Long-nosed defended himself waving his hands while Luffy and Chopper looked at him with stars in their eyes as they remembered the king of the snipers.
"Franky... Don't compare my technique with those government morons." Demanded the blond.
"But it's the same thing" Thought the carpenter with a drop sliding down his extravagant hairdo.
"Sky Walk" Corrected proudly the cook.
"So, it's a common technique?!" The heroes were amazed at the quirkless human's ability.
"It's not common, but it's often used by government dogs and high ranked navy officers." The carpenter completed.
"Dogs?"
"Secret agents... Dogs... it's the same thing."
"SO, ANYONE CAN LEARN IT?!" Midoriya raised his voice, unable to contain his excitement. "SANJI KUN PLEASE TEACH ME!"
"Hmmm..." The blond thought while scratching his cheek with his index finger. "No" He answered sharply and then gave him his respective portion of bread.
"All right brats, follow me... It's time to get to know your new temporary home." Franky guided the guests.
"Mr. Franky... Can you wear pants?" asked Aizawa politely.
"Ow! Don't insist"
The Cyborg guided the heroes through the Sunny, culminating in a stunning and unusual room with an aquarium spanning from corner to corner.
The young men were delighted with the atmosphere and applauded the pervert for his ship's design, causing him to blush before leaving them alone to settle into the large room.
Although the pirates invited the young ladies to their room, they refused to invade their personal space, preferring to have a huge sleepover with their classmates as they didn't have to worry about some of them behavior with the professors there.
Yaoyorozu was exhausted after creating 25 sleeping bags, being encouraged by the rest of her classmates. While outside the room where everyone was, a fight could be heard.
"What's all the commotion?" asked Mic.
"Must be Zoro and Sanji fighting again." Replied the sexy heroine with a drop running down her long hair.
"Where is All Might?" asked Aizawa
After they had finished settling in, they all left the room, witnessing the symbol of peace lying on the floor completely beaten up. The skeleton approached with his cup of tea towards the sore and semi-conscious hero helping him stand up.
"AAAAAAAAAAHH ALL MIGHT! What happened to you?" Midoriya ran worriedly to his mentor.
"I told him that training with Luffy was a bad idea, he never controls himself." Said Brook sipping his tea.
"Luffy, you are going to break him!" Reprimanded Chopper to his captain, taking care of the hero as if he were a porcelain cup.
"Shaggy... You're supposed to dodge." He pouted childishly.
"I'M TRYING, BUT YOU ARE TOO FAST." All Might replied, rubbing his head.
"You have to sense everything and look beyond... Idiot"
"Luffy, he's just learning the Haki, don't expect him to see the future."
"THANKS ZORO KUN..." He exhaled gratefully before turning to face the swordsman who was unsheathing his katana.
"I'll take care of him." He said seriously
"THESE GUYS WANT TO KILL ME!"
"WAIT, NO! STOP!" The hero waved his hands incessantly in front of him.
"Time to eat!" The blond called from the second floor.
"THANK YOU, SANJI SAN..."
The cook noticed the pale beaten hero and the swordsman standing in front of him with one of his katanas unsheathed. Suddenly remembering how he was always surrounded by Nami and Robin.
"You know what... Forget it... continue whatever you are doing..." said the blond who went back into the kitchen.
"HEY! NO! WAIT SANJI SAN!"
"SANJI! BRING THE FOOD, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A FEAST!"
"Luffy, I don't think that's a good idea... We have limited resources and there are quite of us."
"Stop being so reckless with your orders!" Nami reprimanded her captain by smacking him on the back of his head.
"Brook! Play something!"
"Yes, captain." The pirate reached for the guitar with keyboard he had purchased in the mall, connecting it to a battery set Momo created and Kaminari filled with charge.
The musician began to play with his new instrument appreciating the configurable sound of the keyboard, though he didn't quite understand it. Jiro came over to instruct the use of his new instrument, getting him to understand easily, starting to play a song from his tours.
"I like that rhythm." Mina snapped her fingers.
"Hey old man! You have a good sense of music." Kaminari celebrated.
"I'M SOUL KING BROOK! Ex-Rock Star, I'll lead my music to your soul. Yohohohoho"
The young rocker shyly approached with the skeleton, playing with long earlobes.
"Mr. Brook... May I... join you?"
"Of course, missy." The skeleton gave her his instrument while he went in search of his old guitar.
They both began to adjust to each other's styles until they were able to hit it off in an impromptu song.
"What a good rhythm"
"That's it, Jiro!"
Everyone began to celebrate the talent of both of them. Meanwhile, Yaoyorozu, Ojiro, Todoroki, and Aoyama were setting up a huge table recently made, since the dining room was too small to hold all of the guests, ending up organizing their space on the deck.
"Franky, help me get the alcohol."
"Roronoa, they're under age," Aizawa scolded.
"... There's juice in the cellar."
The boys assisted in carrying the food to the center and setting the plates on a lovely makeshift table made by Franky from wood he obtained from Kamui.
"That wood hero was very convenient for us HAHAHA." mocked the pervert.
"IS IT FROM KAMUI WOODS?!" Mic asked perturbed
"He needed a good pruning." Zoro mocked, taking a sip of his sake.
"We have enough to repair the Sunny from several attacks."
The table was piled high with delectable delicacies and fragrances... While Zoro seized ownership of the booze and offered it to the professors, which all accepted except All Might, who always rejected due to his health.
Everyone was overjoyed after sampling the delicacies made by Sanji's deft hands. Some of the students were in tears as they had never tasted something so exquisite before. Among them, Ochako couldn't stop crying no matter how hard Deku attempted to console her, being affected by her emotions.
"Whoever marries Sanji must be very lucky." Said the girls, unintentionally breaking the heart of the cook who was pounding the floor in misery.
"Shhhhh! Don't talk about weddings." Said the reindeer in a low voice.
"Did someone leave him at the altar?!"
"It's more complicated." said the skeleton.
"The curly-browed idiot was kidnapped and forced to get married."
"Shut up moss head!"
"What did you say? Prince in distress…"
A new fight broke out... Slashes, fire and great gusts of hot air were directed in all directions. The heroes were speechless, both had no quirks, however, their strength was monstrous, some of them could feel the power emanating from both pirates fighting.
"There they go again..." They were taken aback to see their vigorous combat, but not surprised.
"EAT QUICKLY OR YOUNG LUFFY WILL STEAL YOUR FOOD."
The boys turned around and saw how the All Might almost choked as the captain was ravaging other people's plates causing them all to eat in a hurry, having to use their drinks to swallow.
In an outburst, Ochako bit Luffy's hand, mimicking his behavior of grabbing food from other people's plates, until she realized what she was doing and apologized immediately.
"IT'S NOT FAIR, WE CAN'T ENJOY FOOD LIKE THIS!"
"WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Jinbei couldn't stop laughing, ignoring his meal that vanished in front of his eyes because he wasn't used to his new captain's behavior.
The banquet evolved into a party with music and dancing, the energy and vitality of everyone emanated a joyful atmosphere that went through the ship, going deeper and deeper into the dangerous waters of the old route.
