Chapter 3 - Nobody hurt you like I did

The way Deku's eyes lit up when they discussed Shitty hair being a firefighter, sparked a deep desire to have the greenette look at him the same way. But he would never look at Bakugo like that, though Bakugo could start by not calling him 'useless'. While he was contemplating this his eye's wandered to D-Izuku's face, he was smiling and laughingwith the group. His heart had a sharp pain he couldn't move.

Suddenly Dunce face was standing next to Bakugo, which lead to the realization that he had slowly made his way down the snack table and closer the group he had been looking at.

"You seem like you want to go join, let's go say hi!" Dunce face said with a stupid expectant look on his face.

"Ha! You are as dumb as you look I'm not going over there." Bakugo turned to face away from the greenette and extras.

Before he could resist further Dunce face grabbed him by the arm, there was a flash of purple that looked suspiciously like a blurry music note on his wrist. Dunce face hadn't told anyone that he had soul mate. This revolution, while Bakugo was indifferent, was still shocking enough to distract him from approaching the chatty group.

Shit! Shit! Shit! Bakugo thought as he held back his anger at Dunce face. He didn't want to show D-Izuku that side of him. He deserves that much at the very least.

He found himself in front of this person who had their fists clenched and seemed to be hyperventilating. He found his answer. He couldn't be in his life. He deserved to be stabbed or burnt alive, some gruesome death would be easier than feeling this guilt, this shame. Despite the pain that brought and the sting in his chest, he still wanted to show him that he changed. Is he allowed to be friends with him again? To start over? Is he allowed to try?

"Hey D-" he paused then exhaled, "Izuku."
