Chapter 4 - Jealousy

Ochaku suddenly grabbed Izuku's arm and said, "Well I want to dance, I'm stealing Izuku!" While being dragged away to the dance floor Izuku noticed Bakugo still staring at the floor with gritted teeth and clenched fists.

Once they reached the dance floor, Izuku hesitantly placed his hands on her waist. The slow dance had just started which meant a few people left the dance floor.

"Sorry for suddenly whisking you away, you looked really panicked and this was the only escape plan I could come up with." Ochaku frowned hoping she hadn't caused him more distress.

Izuku smiled, "No, thank you for the save, though he wasn't as bad as I thought he would be."

Ochaku paused with pursed lips before adding, "Well he's not usually that gentle with anyone here."

They eased into a thoughtful silence as they danced.

"Did Bakugo really use his first name, he's never done that before," Frog girl observed aloud in shock.

"Bakubro man how did you become friends?" Shitty hair was jumping with excitement

Bakugo finally glanced in the direction that Izuku had left with Round face. Everything faded away but the two dancing and smiling. He couldn't help imagining himself replacing Round face and be Izuku's dance partner. There was a burning sensation in his gut. Like he couldn't bare to watch but also couldn't tare his eye's away.

Finally Shitty hair snapped Bakugo's attention back to reality, "Hey you ok man? You don't look good."

The intense embracement combined with the uncontrollable frustration and Bakugo yelled, "Fuck off extras I'm leaving," he turned to Shitty hair and continued, "and don't follow me!"

Bakugo ran out the entrance ignoring the calls from his classmates. How could he be so stupid? What's the point in being jealous now? He will never see you are more then his childhood bully.

The night was especially cold and Bakugo had left in a hurry without his coat, not that he really got cold anyway. Until the impossible happened. His left arm shivered, it had never happened and was so out of the ordinary that Bakugo stopped walking, in disbelief.

"Kaachan!" There's only one person that could be, Bakugo didn't dare turn around in case it was a trick.

"Kaachan, why are you leaving?"

When Bakugo finally turned around there Izuku stood almost spotlighted but the walking path light. He chuckled to himself, then turned serious. "You and Round Face are close. You like her?"

It sounded more like a statement than a question but Izuku was completely caught off guard. "I-I mean she's a great friend and I do like her," in that moment Bakugo looked like he had been slapped, which lead Izuku to ramble nervously, "But not like that Kaachan, but that's not important, I brought you this because it's freezing and you left without your coat." Izuku shook off Bakugo's question and walked toward him holding a red scarf. He wrapped the scarf around Bakugo's neck while he stood completely still. Bakugo thought any sudden movement would scare Izuku away like spooking an small animal. With a triumphant look of accomplishment, Izuku nodded at his handy work. He noticed Bakugo's cheeks were tinged pink as he looked away, possibly embraced Izuku guessed. When Izuku chuckled it snapped Bakugo back to reality.

"Get back inside nerd, it's cold out here." Bakugo turned and continued walking while hiding his smile.
