Johnny stood at the base of a large buliding, a big wheel on the front of it. He was at the Speedwagon Foundation headquarters in Mustafu. He was there, because he apparently had a visitor.

Johnny made his way through the lobby, nodding at one of the workers, and entered the elevator. Johnny looked at his phone while he waited for his floor, and saw that he had a text from an unknown number.

?: Hey! It's Jiro. I asked your sister for your number before you left the other day.

Johnny: Cool.

Jiro: Cool? That's it?

Johnny: Well what else am I supposed to say? Jiro, I'm so glad we're friends! Let's get pedicures together!

Jiro: I don't know, something better than cool. You should at least put a bit more effort into it.

Johnny smirked.

Johnny: I'm meeting with my uncle right now, but it's nice hearing from you.

Jiro: Ditto

Johnny: Ditto? That's it? You should at least put a bit more effort into it.

Jiro: Smartass.

Johnny chuckled as he put his phone away. He was glad that he was on better terms with Jiro, he really needed to hang out with more people besides Izuku. The elevator came to a stop at the fifth floor, and the doors opened. Johnny made his way to a room that resembled a greenhouse.

A blonde man was tending to the plants. His hair had three curls in the front, and a long ponytail in the back. He had a black suit with a chest window in the middle, with green accents, as well as two green brooches that resembled ladybugs. The man had green eyes that shined with a gentle kindness, yet Johnny knew that they could switch to something much darker in a different situation.

"Johnny, it's been too long."

"Hey Uncle Giorno."

Giorno Giovanna got up and brushed some dirt off. "Did you know they had a garden here? I have to admit, I'm quite impressed with how well they are taking care of it."

"It's even more impressive since they can't grow them instantaneously, right?" Johnny asked with a smile.

Giorno eyed his nephew. "Don't sass me." Johnny chuckled. "So...what brings you to Japan?"

The mafia boss sighed. "Well, when I heard my nephew was involved in a massive villain attack, I was somewhat concerned. I mostly just came to check up on you."

"Well, I'm fine. Those villains weren't though. Our class messed them up."

Giorno raised an eyebrow. "I don't think you understand just how much danger you were actually in."

Johnny shook his head. "No...I do. One of the villains that came after us used to work for DIO."

Giorno frowned. "You're talking about Magenta Magenta, right?"

Johnny nodded. "He almost killed me and my friends, but we managed to defeat him."

The Italian shook his head. "He escaped. We don't know where he is, he's pretty good at covering his tracks."

"Dammit."

Giorno motioned with his head, indicating that he wanted Johnny to follow him. "Come on, I'll take you out to eat, my treat." Johnny nodded and followed his uncle.

*A Starbucks or something, I don't know*

"If there is one thing that you and I have in common Johnny, it's that we both have a shitty mom." Giorno said. Johnny frowned, his eyes shifting down towards his drink. Giorno wouldn't have brought up their mothers of he wasn't serious. It was a sensitive topic for both of them, and the fact that he had brought it up meant that whatever he had to say had to be important.

"The thing is, you have a loving father, and a sister too. cares for you more than he would like to admit, and Josuke would gladly take a bullet for you. I had none of that growing up. My mother neglected me, my step father beat me, and my father...well he's been dead for over a century. "

It didn't take much for Johnny to know that Giorno wasn't talking about DIO.

"So when I learned that I had a family, I had flesh and blood relatives who had gone through similar experiences, for the first time in my life I felt like. You guys accepted me, even though I came from him, and now I finally know what being in a family truly means. I love you, Johnny, and if something ever happened to you, or to any of our family members for that matter...I don't know what I would do. I don't want to lose this... "

Johnny had never heard his uncle be so upfront about his feelings before. The USJ incident must have really scared him if he was pouring his heart out like this.

"I'm...sorry Uncle Giorno, I really didn't mean to scare you like that. You've already lost so much, Buccerati, Narancia, Abbachio...I don't want to cause you any more pain. I promise I'll be more careful."

Giorno bowed his head, taking time to take a sip from his caramel mochiatto. "There's no need to apologize, Johnny. It's not like you were looking for a fight or anything. I just felt like I needed to explain why I felt the need to come here to check up on you."

Johnny smiled. "I appreciate it, I really do."

"Hey, is that JoJo?"

"Who's that cutie with him?"

Johnny turned his head to see Ashido and Hagakure looking in his direction. Giorno raised an eyebrow. "I take it those are your classmates? " Johnny nodded. Ashido made her way over to the two Joestars while Hagakure waited for their orders.

"Hey! How's my boyfriend doing?"

Johnny wasn't amused. Giorno looked perplexed, before Mina began to giggle. "Relax, I'm just teasing you!" Johnny put a hand on his forehead. "Yare yare..." Mina was still chuckling as Giorno got up. "I'm going to the bathroom Johnny, I'll be right back."

"Wait, don't leave me alone with her!"

"I'll be right back."

Johnny put his head on the table. "Sorry, JoJo, looks like you're stuck with me now!" Mina grinned. "This is hell, I'm in hell." Johnny muttered. Mina sat down in Giorno's spot. "I'm guessing that was another family member." Johnny lifted his head. "Yeah, my uncle." Mina pounded her fist on the table. "Why is it that every member of your family is so cute?!"

"I dunno, maybe I have a common ancestor with a Greek God or something."

Mina shook her head, bewildered, before she suddenly had a serious expression. "Hey, Yaomomo said that you were pretty shaken up during the USJ. Are you okay?" Johnny sighed. "I'm fine, I was more worried about the others than myself, and when that villain almost shot Kaminari and Jiro, I guess I had a bit of a panic attack." Mina nodded. "That sounds really scary, I'm just glad everyone's alright."

"Agreed."

Mina rubbed her head. "Well, I gotta go, but I'm glad you're doing better." She began to walk towards the door, reuniting with Hagakure.

"Ashido." Mina turned to look at Johnny. "Thank you, despite all the needless flirting...you're a good friend. "

Mina smiled. "See you next class, JoJo!"

Johnny waved as his friends departed, then he noticed that his uncle was hiding in the corner of the bathrooms. Johnny narrowed his eyes, indicating to Giorno that he had seen him. His uncle had a small smile on his face as he made his way back to the table.

"Sorry, I wanted to get a look at your friends. It just eases my conscience, knowing that even if you are in danger, you'll have people watching your back."

Johnny smirked. "You're getting soft in your old age."

"I'm 27..."
