PhantomKnightPercival: Its time!

TheSBRdude: Yep, Johnny is living up to his namesake, minus all the murder.

Kosaku Valentine: Feel free to send them over!

Tenma Kirin: As you wish!

"So, the official story is that she fell off the building because of Overhaul, stick to it, and you shouldn't have to worry about any murder charges." Jotaro said, standing over Kyoka's hospital bed.

"Thanks Dr. Kujo."

Jotaro sighed and say down on the edge of her bed, taking off his hat and running a hand through his greying hair. "Yare yare daze...I wish I was involved, maybe things wouldn't have gone to shit."

"We won."

"Yeah...Nighteye is dead though." Jotaro said, and Kyoka's heart dropped to her stomach. "W-what? But Mr. Josuke could've-"

"He wanted to go. Apparently, his death would cause everyone involved to become bigger and better people. Josuke tried, trust me. Hell, he dragged himself out of bed just to heal YOU...but Nighteye refused. He did get to say goodbye to Toshi though, Midoriya and Togata were there with him too. I'm sorry Jiro...it must have been tough, seeing a man's final moments."

"It was...but I was so preoccupied with Susan..."

Jotaro winced at his ex-wife's name, and Kyoka mentally strangled herself. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't even mention her..."

"Jiro, I don't blame you for what happened. Susan...she wasn't a good person, not by a long shot. She deserved every bit of agonizing pain you and Gramps put her through...I don't grieve for her at all."

"Then...why-"

"She's my fault Jiro. I left a grieving woman alone with two kids, thinking that they would be better off without me. I...I ruined their lives, I ruined her life, so she decided to return the favor. And because of my stupid decision...she hurt my family, and one of my students." Jotaro said, nodding towards Kyoka's bandaged arm.

After Josuke had heard about Kyoka's brutal fight with Susan, he had burst from his hospital room and hobbled towards hers on his broken leg, fighting against nurses and doctors that tried to restrain him. He had managed to partially heal her arm before he was dragged away.

"Please don't blame yourself Dr. Kujo. You aren't responsible for her." Kyoka said. "She made herself into a monster...I don't regret what I did, you shouldn't either."

Jotaro briefly smiled. "You're a good kid, you know...I approve."

"Approve of what?"

"You and Johnny." Jotaro said, shocking Kyoka. "I've known about the way you two feel for each other for a while now, and I think you're probably the best person for my son."

"Y-you knew?"

"Well, you were spooning him that one time." Jotaro said, and Kyoka practically deflated with embarrassment. "I-I was asleep! It was an accident! Besides, I got lucky and he didn't notice."

"He was awake."

"He-" Kyoka deadpanned. "He...was awake? Why didn't he...?"

"I think he just let it happen." Jotaro shrugged. "Anyway, I've got to go check on Kirishima and Togata, that way I don't look biased."

"Dr. Kujo."

"Hm?" Jotaro said, turning around.

"I'm going to tell him, I don't think I can wait anymore...are you sure-"

"Absolutely." Jotaro said, the corners of his mouth twitching. "I say go for it."

Jotaro opened the door and passed Gyro, giving the Italian a respectful nod on his way out.

"Is he going to do that every time he sees me?" Gyro wondered aloud, and Kyoka chuckled. "I guess so...hey, they aren't allowing visitors yet!"

"Shut up! Do you want me to get caught?!" Gyro retorted, pulling the door shut. "I heard you finally want to tell Johnny how you feel."

"I...I almost lost him Gyro." Kyoka said, looking down and fiddling with her jacks. "I almost never got the chance. If I keep waiting like this...he's either going to die or some other girl is gonna come along and... "

"Steal him from you?" Gyro said.

Kyoka nodded. "There are plenty of other girls interested in him...and I don't exactly stand out in a c-"

*SMACK!*

"HEY! Don't smack me! Smack Johnny! You ruined the gag!"

"You're bringing yourself down again! None of those girls are anywhere near as close to him as you are! He fucking DIED for you! You need to get your head out of your ass, and use it! "

"I'm going to tell him Gyro!"

"Good! Do it tomorrow, because that's when he's gonna be here. To visit YOU, I might add. And you better be ready, because he's really looking forward to it."

Kyoka grimaced. "Giving me a time limit? Come on Gyro."

"You're the master procrastinator Kyoka. If someone didn't put pressure on you, you would wait until you are old and baggy. Johnny told me something once, something which I have taken to heart. You can't win unless you have a hunger, a drive to get what you want. You want Johnny, you get Johnny! Insecurity be damned! Stop hesitating, and just tell him!"

"...Okay, I think I understand."

"JUST DO IT!"

"I WILL!"

"MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!"

"Excuse me sir, you aren't allowed in here." A voice came from behind Gyro, and he turned to see a nurse had entered the room. Before anyone could do anything, Gyro had already lept through the window, and was now sprinting across the parking lot.

Kyoka rolled her eyes while the nurse began screaming after him, but her mind went back to Gyro's advice. Hunger...isn't that what Johnny told Midoriya at the Sports Festival? Gyro's right, I need to get my head out of my ass...

I'm gonna do it.

"You should tell Kyoka that you love her."

"Playing matchmaker again, Gyro?" Johnny said, sketching in his notebook. "I'll tell her when I'm ready."

"When will you be ready Johnny?" Gyro said. "Not many girls would fight your abusive mother to the death for you."

"I know! I know! She's...yare yare...I've fallen hard, haven't I?"

"Yes, you have. It's pointless to deny it, she's special to you. As your best friend and partner, I think that she is probably the best thing that has ever happened to you, it even beats getting your legs back. You are a better person when she's around, and I think you should let her know just how important she is to you. She could've DIED you know."

"I know, you're right...I'm just nervous. I've never really felt this way about someone before."

"Well, you have to let her know. That's all. She doesn't have to declare her undying love for you (even though I'm pretty sure that's what she's going to do... )"

"What was that last part?"

"I said that I'm pretty sure she doesn't have to!" Gyro said. "But she deserves to know, even if she doesn't feel the same way. And I'm not gonna be the one to tell her!"

"I get it. I'll...I'll do it tomorrow, when I see her..."

"Good." Gyro walked towards Johnny's window and peeked out. "Oh...oh my God."

"What?" Johnny walked over to the window and looked out, only for his mouth to drop open.

Valentine was standing in the middle of the Kujo household's yard, with American flags and streamers sticking out of almost every corner of the property.

"Glory Glory Hallelujah!

Glory Glory Hallelujah!"

A massive speaker was playing Battle Hymn of the Republic at the loudest setting, and a pink gloved middle finger was raised in defiance.

"Where? How? Why?" Johnny asked.

"Forget that, WHEN?" Gyro responded.

Jolyne sighed as she drove her still broken car to the hospital, with Johnny in the passengers seat. "Yare yare dawa..."

"What?"

"It's nothing." Johnny raised an eyebrow at his sister, who looked like she was put through a blender. "Is it Susan?"

Jolyne frowned. "You're too smart, you know that?...I guess I'm a little upset, yeah. I know she was never a mother to you...but she was to me. The woman I knew was kind, caring, and...I looked up to her. And then I found out about you, and Dad wasn't really an asshole, and suddenly...she was gone. The woman who raised me was gone, and in her place was a fucking monster. She lied, she...killed, and now she's dead. I...don't know how to feel. Do I grieve? Do I spit on her grave?"

"Grieve for the woman you knew, Jolyne. That woman died a long time ago...and she might not have ever been real, so grieve for the death of a dream." Johnny said, wrapping a comforting arm around his older sister's shoulder. "And live for the family that is real."

Jolyne blinked back tears and smiled, affectionately ruffling her brother's hair. "You're a good kid, well, you're an asshole, but a good asshole."

"Good asshole?" Johnny said, smirking.

"Proving my point."

Jolyne pulled into the parking lot, and Johnny opened the door, only for it to fall off. "You need a new car."

"I know...hey, give Jiro a hug for me, and tell her that I don't blame her for...you know."

"I'm planning to tell her more than that." Johnny responded, walking towards the hospital and leaving his sister in confusion.

"More- OH! YES! GO GET YOUR WOMAN JOHNNY!"

"Yare yare daze..." Johnny muttered as his sister hollered after him. "She sure cheered up quickly..."

Now I have to do the hardest thing I will ever have to do, everything I have been through up to this point has been nothing compared to this: expressing my feelings.

Johnny walked through the halls, pausing at a window that peered into a room, where a certain little girl was coming down with a fever, undoubtedly from using her quirk too much.

Get well soon Eri...I want to talk to you.

Johnny came to the room he was looking for, and slapped his cheeks in preparation. Three words, that's all you've got to say. Just three words.

"Are you just going to stand out there all day, or are you coming in?" Kyoka's muffled voice came from the other side of the door.

Shit, hearing quirk.

Johnny slowly opened the door to see Kyoka sitting on the edge of her hospital bed. Her hands were clasped together, and she appeared just as, if not more so, nervous as he was.

"Hey."

"Hi." Johnny's attention turned to her arm, which had the bandages removed, revealing faint lines where Blood on the Dance Floor's teeth had sunk into her flesh. Johnny's expression saddened, and Kyoka looked down at her arm, giving him a half-hearted chuckle.

"And you said she was all bark and no bite."

Johnny took her hand, startling her, and examined her arm. "My mother always had a habit of leaving scars..."

Kyoka blushed at the sudden contact, but rolled with it. "I'm proud of them...after everything that woman did to hurt you, to hurt everyone, it's a reminder that I put a stop to it."

"Good, you should be." Johnny responded. "That woman crossed too many lines...she got what was coming to her."

Kyoka put her hand on top of Johnny's, and looked him dead in the eye. "I have something to tell you, something important."

"Same here."

"Alright, you go first."

"No, you."

"Really, I insist."

"My ancestor always took pride in being a gentleman, ladies first!"

"Just for that, you're going first."

"No."

"I love you."

"Really I...oh."

Kyoka quickly turned her head to hide her face. "S-sorry, had to treat it like a Band-aid. Get it over with, you know? I...I've kept these feelings bottled up for so long...but after the raid...after I almost lost you, I had to let you know. I've been in love with you...probably since the Sports Festival."

"That long?"

"Well, at the Sports Festival it was a crush, every teenage girl has one of those...but after you got hurt, and during the Steel Ball Run...I realized just how much you meant to me. You made me believe in myself, and every time you were hurt, I was hurt. I-I can't help how I feel, and I don't want this to ruin what we have...but you deserve to know."

"Kyoka..."

"Look, I understand if you don't feel the sa-"

"No, you beat me to it."

"H-huh?!" Kyoka turned bright red, but not as red as Johnny was.

"That was...actually what I came here to tell you...I...feel the same way. I have since you visited me in the hospital, if I'm being honest. It's just...I'm very bad with expressing myself, you know that. I'm actually kind of glad you spoke up first, I would've made it weird."

"Why?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why me? I'm...I'm not someone like Momo, or-"

"I used to compare myself to my father, back when I had Tusk Act 1, and it brought me down. But the thing is, I'm stronger than my father, I just didn't know it at the time. Kyoka...I...I think you're...uh."

"You were right, you're really bad at this."

"S-sorry, I'm trying...beautiful. I-I think you're beautiful."

Kyoka's lips pressed together, and tears formed in the corners of her eyes. Johnny was being completely genuine. "No...no one has ever said that to me before...I...this has to be a dream."

"No." Johnny said, taking her hand. "I love you too Kyoka...no dreams, no emotion-fucking chains, this is real, it has always been real."

Kyoka pulled him into a hug. "What...what made you want to tell me anyway?"

"You almost died fighting my shitty mom. I guess we both had the same reason."

"Yeah." Kyoka released Johnny from the hug, but their arms were still entwined. They were nose to nose, and they peered into each other's eyes. They began to lean in, when Kyoka put an earphone jack on Johnny's lips.

"Nope."

"Wha-"

"You have to go on a date with me first. If we're going to give this a shot, we have to make it proper."

"I take it you're asking me out then?"

"Yep, now get lost lover-boy, I think I hear my dad coming down the hall, and he can be really overprotective."

"OH NO!" Johnny fired a nail bullet into the floor, and retreated into a wormhole as Kyotoku Jiro came into the room and hugged his daughter tightly, sobbing, followed by Mika. Kyoka grinned into her father's chest as Johnny's wormhole went through the window. I can't believe it...but he actually likes me back! We're going on a date!

A date!

...I've never gone on a date before...

Gyro Zeppeli grinned, standing beside Kyoka's hospital room as her parents fawned over her. "Nyo ho! That went better than I thought."

"Well, now Johnny has a girlfriend." Diego said, leaning on a water dispenser. "Giorno woke up...he had something interesting to say."

"Hit me."

"My father has returned."

Gyro felt a chill down his spine. "DIO or Johnathan, please say it's Johnathan."

Diego shook his head. "He's been running around as a ghost this whole time, just like Valentine. Apparently, if I had put on the stone mask back in that cave, he would've possessed me. He's trying to come back to life."

"Shit..."

"Hey! That's the guy that broke in here yesterday!" The nurse from yesterday cried. "Get him!"

"SHIT! BYE DIEGO GOTTA GO! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DAD!"

Gyro sprinted away, while the nurse chased after him, passing by Hot Pants and Twice.

"What the fuck?"
