Jason woke up on his birthday. He hadn't heard from Brandy and he felt bad for Luke.
He wasn't willing to celebrate his birthday at all.
He sighed as his siblings tried to celebrate his birthday. He just wasn't feeling it.
Two days later, Tina made Beau's birthday breakfast as Beau thought of Luke. He wondered if Luke should come to his party. He then decided that Luke should probably stay home since Luke was still feeling down.
He began to wonder if it was because Lucy was in the hospital. He knows Luke was very worried about Lucy and it showed.
Leni was taking Luke to visit Lucy since there was no school that day.
They arrive to see Lucy and Rocky giggling at stuff.
"Hey, Luke." Lucy says weakly as she had new skin grafts. She had covered her eyes with her hair and bangs.
"I have to get surgery on my legs. I won't be around for your birthday. I'm sorry." Lucy says.
"It's okay. I'm just glad you're doing good." Luke says.
"How have you been doing?" Lucy asked him.
"I've been better." Luke says.
Lucy looked down as Leni noticed the bite mark on her ear and pitied her.
"The twins are at boarding school now." Luke says. "They won't be returning."
Lucy felt relieved by that news.
With Beau, he had opened his family gifts at home, and now he was hanging out with Oliver, Lonnie, and Remy at the mall.
"So…how does it feel to finally turn 16?" Remy asked Beau.
"Great!" He says.
"Have you thought about asking Lisa to the Homecoming dance in a few weeks?" Lonnie asked.
"She's 8." Beau says.
"I thought she was like, closer to our age." Lonnie says.
"She's just smart." Beau says.
"Yet you're in love with her." Remy says.
"I know." Beau says with hearts in his eyes.
"If you can't take her, would you want to go with us?" Lonnie asked.
"What happened to you and Stephen being together?" Beau asked.
"We are together. We just don't want you to go alone." Lonnie says.
"I would like that." Beau says.
"Oliver has the theme for Homecoming." Remy says. "He's the head of the Homecoming committee this year."
"What is it? What is it?" Lonnie asked.
"Around The World With The Golden Knights! Each dress up day is going to revolve around a different part of the world, and the dance is going to be just as amazing…" Oliver says.
Later, Beau's party was in full swing. Lisa came, gift in hand.
"Welcome to my totally tubular Sweet 16!" Beau says, accepting the gift from Lisa.
"Thanks for inviting me." Lisa says.
"Of course. In case you aren't aware, my theme is the 1980's." Beau says. "Care to dance?"
Lisa smiled and danced with Beau.
With Luke, he had returned home from visiting Lucy. He saw Beau's birthday party going on across the street. He goes to the party as Beau smiled at him.
The guests cheered seeing Luke.
"Welcome to my party!" Beau says to Luke. "Your 80's costume is awesome!"
Luke smiled. He and Oliver did have the best costumes at the party.
Oliver frowned as the divorce would be on the 19th. Luke, Beau, and the others were going to be there for him.
Later, Beau was going to hit his piñata. Luke smiled at this as Beau broke it open.
After that, Beau opened his presents.
He opens Luke's gift, which was a new Chromebook laptop. He smiled and thanked Luke.
He opens Lisa's gift next. It was an automatic globe. Beau practically beamed at this.
"Lisa, this is amazing! Thank you!" Beau says.
Lisa smiled and kissed Beau.
Later, they danced to the 1980's music that played over the Yates' stereo system. Luke and Oliver danced as well.
Oliver thinks of Cynthia. He had informed her of how things were here at home. He had asked her to come to the divorce hearing on the 19th, as he needed all the support he could get.
She said she'd try to come. That was enough for him.
Lynn came to see Lucy as Lucy shrieked. But Charity assured her that Lynn wasn't here to hurt her and the ringleaders of that were sent away for good.
Lucy looked down.
"Luce, I'm really sorry for hurting you like that. I now know that it was Lola and Lana who wanted you dead. But let me, Mom, Luna, Luan, and the rest of us assure you that we aren't going to hurt you and Lola is getting the tough love she deserves." Lynn says.
"She made me…" Lucy stammered, but couldn't say it.
"I know." Lynn says, knowing Lucy was too scared to.
Lucy sighed, calming down.
At Beau's party, he smiled upon seeing his 80's mixtape-themed cake that was surrounded by cupcakes that were topped with various 80's icons.
"This is just amazing! I love it!" Beau says as he takes a few pictures before Jancey lights the candles on the mixtape-themed cake.
Everyone sings to Beau, who smiled at everyone before thinking of his 16th birthday wish.
He wished Luke would smile again as he blew out all sixteen candles on his cake.
The next show was on Cynthia's birthday and Beau needed to be ready.
