Bearticguy7: I don't see why the stand discs couldn't come into play, great idea! Love the stand!
Mr- SandIsComicsmadder: Pucci was completely obliterated from existance, so everything he did was undone. Only people who encountered him remember him. Weather is very much alive.
Kyeo307: Thank you! I could definitely see Johnny and Gyro using the Infintite Rotation at the same time!
PhantomKnightPercival: I'm glad you like their dynamic, that was what I was going for. I wish I could add that move in Eyes of Heaven, it would look amazing!
jkgaming: 1) Yes, in fact, next chapter is a Jolyne chapter 2) :) 3) That is very true.
Jddraign: It is Fit Valentine, he stole Dark Valentine's body. Also, I KNOW! I'VE BEEN WATCHING IT, AND I LOVE IT!
Death Omen Star: Gyro will be getting some badass moments in the future, but for this chapter everyone is kind of a badass. Also...you may have just guessed Gyro's secret hero name.
Euphoria: Thank you! I just had to give the Necromancer a musical number, it would be a missed opportunity, especially since my goal was to make him morbidly funny.
TheCommonCold: Hi! Thank you so much for the kind review, I'm so glad to hear from you again!
Balanced goose: Stand is an A+ my dude. And thank you for the review!
Idea for story: It's a good idea, unfortunately, I haven't watched Senran Kagura.
AshenOne: Thank you! The Necromancer was in Green Dolphin, but six years before Jolyne was sent there. He was bailed out before she got there. Well, considering Gydo's character, he would do it in the middle of a fight. Neither of them were actually taking it seriously.
By the way, the new cover photo is a meme I drew, I've actually been drawing memes of the characters for a while, I just don't have an outlet to show them. It's just a little something to celebrate the big 100, the normal cover will return!
Valentine examined the book in his hand, and the dissolving Necromancer turned back towards the heroes, grinning.
"I'm so glad...I get to spend my final moments...fighting alongside you...my President! We'll destroy them before I go...together..."
"You really trust me this much Captain?"
"Of course...you are the only man I can...respect...I'd be honored to fall...so you can RISE!"
"You fell a long time ago, and your trust was misplaced."
"H-Huh?" The Necromancer turned, and he staggered back as the last of the two Necronomicons faded away, destroying their evil for good. "N-No...you...didn't."
"I did."
"You...be...YOU BETRAYED ME?!" The Necromancer said, his voice breaking. "I...I am your most loyal...most...I was your best soldier..." Tears were forming in the dying demon's eye sockets, and he fell to his knees. "I DID THIS ALL FOR YOU!"
Valentine's poker face changed instantly, into one of RAGE. "You took my ideals...my want for a better, unified world...and you used them to SATISFY YOUR OWN DARK DESIRES! YOU SELFISH, ARROGANT, SHIT-SPEWING DOG! YOU AREN'T MY BEST SOLDIER, YOU'RE MY WORST MISTAKE!"
D4C took the Necromancer's remaining arm, and broke it. The Necromancer screamed in agony as he attempted to crawl away.
"YOU'RE RIGHT, I BETRAYED YOU! HOW DOES IT FEEL?! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE SOMEONE SHATTER YOUR COMPLETE TRUST IN THEM?!"
Johnny nodded. "You scared me for a bit there Valentine, I have to be honest."
"I apologize, but I had to secure the book. Jiro, thank you for saving me."
"I'm...glad you made the right decision, Valentine."
"PLEASE...My President...I...I love you! I admire the ground you walk on! I..."
"'Love?'...Did you just say...a creature like you ISN'T CAPABLE OF SUCH A THING!" Valentine yelled, cruelly grinding his heel into the Necromancer's neck. "IF YOU WERE, YOU'D BE LIKE HIM!" Valentine pointed at Izuku, who smiled.
"You wanted to know what made us different, Necromancer...Valentine hit the nail on the head, I have love. Love for my friends, my family...that's where TRUE power comes from. You abandoned all that."
Valentine turned to Johnny. "How long until the Infinite Rotation consumes him?"
"We had to cheat by using OFA to activate it, so it's a little slower than it would be if I activated it on horseback. I'd say about five minutes left." Johnny replied.
"Good, I want to to MAKE GOOD USE of that time." Valentine said.
"Heh heh...heheheheeheeeheeheeeheeeeh...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHEEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHAHAHAHEHAHEHAHEHAHEAHEAHEAHEEHAHEAHEAHEAHEAHEAAAAAAAAAAAAH! "
The Necromancer threw Valentine off of him, cackling, his red eyes burning bright with bloodlust. Whatever sanity he had left was crushed by the betrayal of his idol, and now he was just out to kill.
He was finally acting like the bloodthirsty beast he truly was.
"HAAHAHAAHAAHAAHHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAA!" The Necromancer began firing lasers all over the place, indiscriminately, all the while tears were flying from his eye sockets. His black heart was broken, so he was determined to break everyone else along with it.
"GET IN THERE!"
"GAH!" The brown haired man was shoved into the visitor room, grimacing from the roughness of the prison guard. He looked at his reflection in the mirror, taking note of his freckles. They had never gone away, a reminder of his youth.
A blonde man sat across from him, playing with a deck of cards, while the prison guard went behind him. "Now now, let's be nice, treat him with respect."
"This quirkless piece of trash? Yeah ri-"
*CRACK!*
The man watched in awe as the guard's head snapped to the side, as if he was punched by some unseen force. "You're a stand user...those are pretty rare..."
"Indeed. I won't tolerate intolerance in my presence...so, you are in here for murder."
"It was self-defense, they were harassing me...who are you, why are you here?"
"I am Senator Funny Valentine, I'm an advocate for the quirkless. I'm here to bail you out."
The man blinked. "Bail...me out? You...why?"
"To judge someone based on their lack of powers is immoral, and unconstitutional. You deserve much better treatment than you have gotten...and I may have a proposition for you."
The man, raised an eyebrow. "Why are you doing this? What's in it for you?"
"A chance to change the world, to make it a place where no one is treated differently based on their appearance or abilities. A strong, unified world, under one banner."
The man, leaned back in his chair. "Is this true? Or are you just bullshitting me, like everyone else who has tried to gain my trust? Are you just leading me on, giving me false hope?"
"I am not. There is a military force I am organizing, called Cupid's Arrow. It will be made up of entirely quirkless individuals...and you know how rare that is nowadays. You will have the chance to prove them all wrong. "
The man leaned forward. "You really mean it, don't you? You really believe what you're saying..."
"I do. The question is...do YOU?"
The man thought about Valentine's dream, thought about it real hard. A world in which he would finally be considered an equal, where he wouldn't be thrown aside...
"Mr. Valentine...I do. I really do. If you believe such a world is possible, I will follow you to the ends of the Earth! You have my loyalty!"
Valentine gave him a warm smile. "Come on then, my friend...let's make you a HERO."
The Necromancer's laughter had turned into hysterical sobbing, the one man he had put his faith in had double crossed him, just like everyone else.
"WHY?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?! I TRUSTED YOU! I LOVED YOU! I GAVE YOU SEVEN FUCKING YEARS OF MY LIFE, I HAVE UP MY HUMANITY, IN YOUR NAME, I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING FOR YOU! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!"
Laser thudded everywhere as the Necromancer lashed out in both madness and pain. Kyoka, who was still caught in the bear trap, ducked behind a fragment of the obsidian pillar to avoid being incinerated. "I think he's pissed."
Johnny, still nursing his stab wound, joined his girlfriend in cover and mockingly put his hands to his cheeks. "NO! I couldn't tell!"
"Johnny, I am wounded, and in a bad mood, this isn't a good time to be a jackass...oh...DID THAT FUCKER STAB YOU?!"
"Wow, took you long enough."
Kyoka angrily armed a wrist amplifier. "Bastard..."
"Hold it, you can't move very well at the moment, are you sure you want to draw his attention while he's like that?"
"Towards us? No, however..."
Kyoka pressed the diamond insignia on her wrist amplifier, extending the gun barrel, and fired a miniature speaker across the battlefield, and pulled out the microphone from her headphones. "Over to where his back is turned to Gyro, yes."
BZZT!
"HEY ASSHOLE! YOUR MOTHER WAS A JACKALOPE!"
The Necromancer turned and focused his lasers at the place where he had heard the insult, screaming at the top of his lungs. With his berserker rage concentrated in one spot, it gave Gyro the opportunity to throw a steel ball at his exposed back, earning another scream, this one of pain.
BLAM!
A bullet hammered into the Necromancer's side, Johnny had used the opportunity to shoot him while he was still recovering. Momo threw a flashbang, blinding the Necromancer's third eye once more, and Bakugo jumped into the battlefield, unleashing an explosion directly into the Necromancer's gut.
The Necromancer blindly swung his remaining arm around, only for D4C to catch it in a vice grip.
"JOOOOOFOEEE! DEFEND ME!"
JoFoe abandoned it's tight with the Joestars and ran towards it's master, but Jotao suddenly appeared in front of it. "As if we'd let you get away..."
"ORA!" Star Platinum punched the zombie back towards the other Joestars. JoFoe roared as it tried to get back to saving it's dying and desperate master, but Joseph formed Hermit Purple into an axe.
"You imitate my grandfather, you deserve the full experience! OVERDRIVE!" Joseph decapitated JoFoe on the spot, sending the imposter's head flying across the battlefield. The Joestars began kicking the head around and swearing, as JoFoe's body crumbled to dust.
"BITCH ASS FAKE!"
"UNDEAD FREAK!"
"GOT WHAT YOU FUCKING DESERVE!"
The Infinite Rotation was crawling up the Necromancer as he just screamed, swinging his arm around as he just began clawing at the air in his berserker rage, but it was clear that the raging beast was getting weaker.
Steel Balls, nail bullets, air bullets, sound blasts, and every other projectile that was at the heroes' disposal were slamming into the dying demon, preventing his remaining flesh from regenerating. His flesh was burning, both from Hamon and Bakugo's explosions...
He was getting NO MERCY.
The Necromancer fell to his knees, trying desperately to escape the constant torment, his rage turning into pure terror.
BOOM!
CRACK!
CLANG!
SMACK!
There was barely anything left of him when the heroes finally ceased.
He was still alive, despite the fact that most of his flesh was burned away by Hamon, and he slowly began crawling over to Valentine, tugging at the former ghost's pant leg, pathetically. "Please...please...stop...I...just wanted to make you proud...I wanted...to...make your vision a reality...a world...where everyone wouldn't..."
The Necromancer was sobbing, and Valentine could only stare down at him with contempt. "Proud? All this senseless violence? This...corruption, of my dream? You have wronged me, and my vision of a perfect world. I do not want your admiration, I only ever wanted to set you on the right path...but it's clear, there is nothing but evil in your soul. I have never...NEVER, been more disgusted."
"Midoriya...MIDORIYA! Please...you have a good heart...don't let them...please..." The Necromancer pleaded, the Infinite Rotation separating his legs from his body. "I know you aren't a killer...please...tell Kujo to remove his ability!"
Izuku could only glare at his enemy. "You're already down, so I won't kill you...but there is NOTHING you can do to convince me to save you."
"N-nothing?!"
"You kidnapped my mother, and who knows how many people you have killed in the meantime...no, as...wrong as I feel saying this...you deserve to die." Izuku said, frowning.
"B-but...b-b-b-b-b-b-b-but...this isn't real...this CAN'T BE REAL!"
"On the contrary, my former friend...IT IS! ALLOW ME TO BRING YOU BACK TO REALITY!"
Valentine draped his American flag over the Necromancer's legs, and lifted it up, and the Necromancer was horrified to find that he was fusing with the corpse of his human self.
"I worked with an alternate Kyoka Jiro in order to obtain the other Necronomicon, and she gave me an opportunity to finish you off by killing your alternate self! Now, with the Infinite Rotation consuming you, as well as your fusion with your alternate self...I'd imagine the pain that comes from being torn apart into oblivion two different ways would be...unbearable, you might honestly die from the shock first."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Necromancer screamed as he was torn apart on both sides. "I JUST...WANTED...TO BE...STRONG..."
With that, the Necromancer faded away, still screaming as he was obliterated in the most painful way possible. One thing was clear to everyone present, no existing person had ever suffered through something so excruciating, to feel both effects at once.
The Necromancer's skull clattered to the ground, frozen in an agonized scream, and Izuku slowly reached down to pick it up, examining it. "It's over..."
All the remaining zombies began to crumble to dust, without their maker, they couldn't exist any further, leaving bloody and exhausted heroes standing triumphant. JoFoe's head blew into the wind, and the dark cloud that was blanketing the junkyard faded away, revealing a warm, welcoming sun.
Tombstone slowly sat up, rubbing his head, confused. Finally, he remembered what had happened. "YOU!" He swiveled around and pointed his gun at both Valentine and Kyoka. "I CHALLE-"
"No. She stopped you from doing something stupid, I'm not doing it." Drink With the Living Dead stated.
"WHAT?! SHE SAVED VA-"
"LOOK UP, DUMBASS! VALENTINE STOPPED HIM!"
Tombstone paused, and his green eyes looked at the sky, and then at Valentine. "That's...impossible..."
"Your grudge has blinded you, Jack."
"..." Tombstone watched as Kyoka struggled to her feet, glaring at him.
"Challenge me to what?! Go on!" Even with a bear trap in her leg, she was defiant. "I just saved us all from your reckless ass, 'Tombstone'."
Tombstone remained silent, slowly putting his gun away, and began walking away. Everyone's eyes were trained on the vigilante as he disappeared into the horizon.
Izuku ran and crushed his mother in a hug, earning a snort from his friends. Usually it was the other way around.
"MOM!"
"IZUKU! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!" Inko hugged her son back, tight. "That pillar splitting in half, was that YOU?!"
"Well, it was actually both me, and JoJo...but yeah!"
"Honey...that thing was the size of a skyscraper..."
"Er...I'm strong?"
Inko laughed and put a hand to her son's cheek. "Yes...you really are..."
"Ahem."
Inko turned to find Rohan Kishibe walking over to her. "I'm sorry to interrupt...but you went through quite the ordeal...I could simply erase your memory of it, that-"
"No thank you. I appreciate the offer, but...I want to remember this. I want to remember seeing my boy being the best hero he could possibly be." Inko said with a smile. "And his wonderful friends...I don't believe I've met any of you, besides Johnny of course, and Katsuki!"
As Inko went over to greet the others, Johnny sat next to his childhood friend with a sympathetic expression on his face. "How are you, now that it's over?"
"I'm...struggling. I was going to kill him, JoJo. That really scares me, because it's something I've never considered doing before." Izuku looked at the Necromancer's lifeless skull, still in his hands. "He was like...a dark reflection of ME, and I hated him for it. I've never hated ANYONE like that..."
Johnny nodded. "We all have an inner darkness, it's our choice whether we let it consume us. The Necromancer faced the same pressures you did, but unlike him, you managed to come out on top. There is more to strength than just power, you know?"
"I do, I know that very well. I'm just...disturbed that I was willing to go that far. If he didn't get that power-up...I think I would've ended it, I think...no, I KNOW I would've ended it. I would've used One For All, a power given to me by my idol, to murder someone... "
"In service of others, Izuku. The Necromancer was just too dangerous to be left alive. He could've attacked the school directly with that army of his, he was PLANNING TO. It's...terrifying, having to cross the line, I was terrified when I did it. Kyoka? She flipped out when she finally realized what had happened with Cummings. If...you ever do cross the line, knowing you, you'd be doing the right thing."
Izuku nodded, and sighed. "I really hope that day never comes. JoJo?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you for being there with me. You've...ALWAYS been there with me, even when we were continents away. JoJo...you really are the best friend I have ever had, and I'm grateful that we get to fight side-by-side."
Johnny smiled warmly. "You're a brother to me, Izuku Midoriya, that means I'm always gonna look out for you. I know I pick on you a lot, but that's because I think the world of you."
"You and Kyoka have that in common."
Johnny laughed. "Yeah, except I'm usually the victim in that regard. Still...I'm going to be by your side Izuku, and that is never going to change."
Izuku closed his eyes, and threw the Necromancer's skull to the side, shattering it to pieces. "That goes both ways, JoJo."
"So, now that you're back in action, I'd imagine you would like your class back." Jotaro said, walking beside his blind friend.
"You almost sound disappointed. Don't tell me you actually bonded with them?"
Jotaro remained silent for a while, before finally responding. "They're good kids, Shota. I've had...fun, teaching them. Seeing them all grow and develop, it's an experience I ended up cherishing, but, it IS your class."
"They're your class too, Jotaro. Your daughter was telling me about how they look up to you, how the students feel like they can approach you with their problems, and you always manage to find the perfect solution for them. You're a better teacher than I am, which is surprising considering your delinquent past."
"Don't sell yourself short."
"Jotaro...you have had a profound effect on these kids. Hell, the ones aware of One For All just stopped a demon capable of leveling an entire city. I am going to return, but I think it would be a waste of Class 1A didn't have you. Perhaps we could reach in shifts? That way you could get days off."
Jotaro scratched his stubble, thinking back to when he was helping them plan for the School Festival, watching them interact with each other, the teacher prank war that he had quietly won...
He really enjoyed being the homeroom teacher, didn't he?
"I'd...think that would be best...for the kids."
"Yeah, for the kids." Aizawa said, smirking. "I'll take it up with Nezu, then. You can act as tough as you want Jotaro, but I know you're just a big softie on the inside."
"Sounds like you just described yourself."
"Well, we are kind of similar I suppose. Now, I'm exhausted, so I'm going to sleep on a bench in the park, see you later."
Jotaro sighed. "Yare yare daze...people already think you're homeless, Shota..."
"How's your leg?" Gyro asked.
"Well, better now that Mr. Josuke healed it, still...that hurt like a bitch." Kyoka responded, rubbing her leg. "Still a bit sore."
"I get it."
Momo walked up and latched onto Gyro's arm, smiling. "I'm just glad there were no casualties..."
"Yeah, although there definitely could've been if we had waited for him to come to us, like we were initially planning to."
"Hold it." The two turned to look at Kyoka. "Did...did you guys...?"
"Yeah, the game is over."
Kyoka reached up and grabbed onto the collars of the couple's uniforms. "WHO WON, TELL ME, NOW!"
"Whoa! Okay Kyoka! Jeez!" Gyro said waving his arms.
"Gyro won...by cheating." Momo explained. "He just said 'I love you', but in a different way. He won on a technicality."
Kyoka slowly set them down, and pulled out her phone.
"Mina...guess what? YOU OWE ME 2,000 YEN AND BREAKFAST IN BED, BITCH! GYRO WON, AND HE CHEATED!"
Gyro raised an eyebrow, and Momo looked confused. "I know you swindled her into changing her bet, but the breakfast in bed?"
Johnny came up with a grin. "Kyoka learned her lesson after the whole Ti Amo, fiasco. She upped the bet with Ashido, saying that if you won by playing dirty, she had to make Kyoka and I breakfast."
"You got involved?!"
"Free food."
"You're becoming more like me every day, Johnny Kujo." Gyro said with a grin.
"That's concerning."
"So...what are we gonna do now?"
"Go home I guess."
Johnny shrugged. "I guess."
"I feel like we should be doing something a bit more celebratory." Momo said. "We DID come out with the best possible outcome."
"Kyoka seems to be ahead of us, in that regard." Johnny said, watching his girlfriend dancing around and whooping into her phone with a smile. She ran over to Izuku and began shaking him, just shouting: "I WON!" over and over again.
"Celebration, huh?" Joseph said, having overheard the conversation. "Well...Thanksgiving is coming up..."
"They don't celebrate that here, Gramps." Johnny said.
"Well, we should show them how! It would be a nice change of pace, after this." Joseph said, grinning.
"Don't you think cultural barriers might make it a little awkward?" Johnny asked.
"There'll be pumpkin pie."
"Sold."
"JOHNNY I WON!" Kyoka yelled, tackling her boyfriend to the ground, and began peppering his face with kisses.
"JESUS CHRIST, KYOKA!"
"I looked into my past the moment you said the name Yoshikage Kira." The Detective explained to Josuke. "I was...mortified by what I saw..."
"Were you?" Josuke responded.
"I still possess the habits of Kira, and his...kinks...but other than that I am a clean slate. I truly don't remember being Yoshikage Kira, and I don't wish to be him going forward. I am the Detective, and that is all." The Detective bowed his head. "I am not Yoshikage Kira, not anymore."
Josuke sighed. "I suppose so...listen Detective, if you aren't Kira anymore, I suppose I'll take your word for it, but if this is a ruse or something..."
"It isn't. That is all I have come to say...and, I may not be that man anymore, but I will still apologize on his behalf. I am truly sorry for everything my past self did to you."
Before Josuke could respond, the Detective disappeared.
Why do I have a feeling I'll see him again?
Everyone was now back at the dorms, which were empty due to everyone being sent home for "break", so it was a little quiet without the usual hustle and bustle.
But, it was ten times better than fighting an army of the undead, so the group would have to make due.
Valentine ran a hand along the couch. "I spent the last few months here...I never thought I would grow so accustomed to it."
"What are you going to do, now that you're alive again?" Gyro asked.
"I'm...not sure. I've done enough to get into heaven...but I don't think I want to go just yet. I have a second chance, I don't want to waste it. I can't just go back to the Presidency either, I've been gone too long. I need some time to sort things out...and unfortunately, the former President of the United States can't be living with a bunch of teenaged hero students."
"So...this is goodbye, then?" Johnny said.
"In a way." Valentine bowed his head. "But before I go, I would like to thank the two of you from the bottom of my heart. You have set me on a better path, and...I am honored to consider the two of you friends. Once I have everything sorted out...you will have me as an ally, ALWAYS."
Johnny looked down. "I never thought I would say this...I never even thought I would forgive you, but...I'll...miss...the way you used to violate our privacy and shit..."
Gyro took Valentine's hand and gave it a firm shake. "Thank you, for everything, Valentine. From Cummings, to Necromancer...I'm glad I've come to see you as a friend."
Kyoka begrudgingly stood up from the couch. "So...an alternate me, huh?"
"Yes...perhaps I can take you to meet her one day...without contact of course."
Kyoka nodded. "I still don't like you...but I'm not saying it isn't possible. Just...stay on the good path, alright?"
Valentine nodded, and Izuku came up and bowed.
"Mr. Valentine...I know we haven't interacted much, we couldn't due to your condition, but I am glad you have turned over a new leaf...and I also have to thank you."
Momo stood up and also bowed. "I didn't forget when you tried to save me during Santana's attack, I am grateful for that. I wish you well, Funny Valentine."
Bakugo just blinked. "I don't really fucking know you."
Valentine chuckled, and they were all surprised to find tears in his eyes, the normally aloof and deadpanned man was on the brink of tears. "I will miss you all...thank you...for changing my life. I look forward to when we meet again."
"Valentine."
"Hm?"
Johnny finally managed to look his former enemy in the eye. "Friends stay in touch, don't forget."
Valentine's eyebrows raised, before a warm, genuine smile came onto his face. "Of course. Farewell...my friends."
With that, the former president exited the building, and began walking towards the gate. He stopped one last time to look at the dorms.
Goodbye, UA...
It's time for my fresh start.
Valentine disappeared into the sunset.
100 chapters...
I can barely believe it. I honestly don't know what to say, I never expected this story to come so far, or to catch on the way that it did. It's been, such a great experience...
To all that have continued to submit stand ideas and leave such thoughtful reviews, to all that have continued to read this story throughout the many months I have been working on it...I can only thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's truly been a wild ride, and you all have been with it from the start.
I know it isn't Thanksgiving anymore, and we're in Christmas territory now...but I'm grateful for all of you.
Thank you, for everything.
Your Friend,
The Donut.
