"Faced one way, a thousand years' separation. The other way, a hundred years' regret. Pray, dream of my sorrow… Pray, dispel the darkness from this world. The only light here is in memory, and the hope you instilled flickers. Alas, I know the truth. In this world, there is no salvation. In this world, there is no you."

Felyos, Lythos…

Two individuals were inside the Ring Chamber in Lythos Castle, but in this version, it was totally destroyed, there were seven pedestals instead of 12, and there was barely any light to speak of.

One of the individuals was a young woman with raven black hair dressed in a blue, black, and white battle dress with a fur collar, and around her neck was a red pendant. The other person with her was male with white hair and also had a black and white design to parts of his outfit and the color he wore was pink instead of blue and around his neck was a similar pendant.'

"I don't understand, Sister. Did we do something wrong?" the male asked nervously. "Our savior should've appeared by now…"

"No. Our summoning hasn't yet reached the Color-Verse. But I could feel the bracelets power being used there." the female said. "While the heroes were going through the portal to get to Elyos, their enemies followed. They were hoping to follow them through."

"Once again those damned Universal Villains interfere and make a mess of things." the male said.

"It is our speciality."

The male suddenly has a plasma sword to his neck, while the female felt the barrel of a blaster pressing against the back of her head.

"Either of you make a move, and the other dies." Boba said, matter-of-factly, the Universal Villains having gotten into the room.

"So you all are still alive in the Color-Verse." the female said, unfazed.

"You make it sound like we're dead here." Boba replied.

"Well, this may be hard to believe, but… You…kind of are." the male said.

"At least in this multiverse." the female said.

"(Uh… Someone care to elaborate? I'm kind of lost here.)" Okidogi said in confusion.

"(Of course you wouldn't get it, you big oaf. You're all brawn. Here's the simple version. We're in an alternate multiverse where everyone, including our new bosses, are dead.)" Munkidori said.

"(Okay, that part I get… As shocking as that may have been. But… Some things still don't add up. Everyone, dead? All at once?)" Okidogi asked.

"(It's not really as hard to believe as you think. Clearly it was from someone powerful enough to reach other worlds and destroy them and everyone in them.)" Fezandipiti said.

"It was because of all your machinations that we lost so many of our comrades and brought this multiverse to what it is now." the female said.

"(Whoa, whoa… Time out! Sure, we're evil, but destruction of this scale? It's unfathomable.)" Okidogi said.

"(Alternate multiverse, remember?)" Fezandipiti asked.

"Anything can happen across realities. Including scenarios where you actually win." the male said. "Your victory caused a chain of events that led to the loss of every life in Elyos. Including yourselves."

"Hmm…Boba, lower your weapon." Techno said, he and the bounty hunter doing so. "Alright, say we believe what you're saying. Is that why you summoned us here? To take revenge for your world?"

"No, we were meant to bring the Hero Alliance and the Divine Dragon here, but since you followed them into the portal, you were brought here instead." the female said.

"We'll try again. We aren't going to place our faith in you." The male said.

"Fair enough. But isn't it fair that you tell us how we can return back to our reality?" Techno asked.

"...I'm afraid it's not so simple." the female said.

"Explain." the future ruler requested.

"You were brought here because you intended to go to Elyos and create the means to travel to and from it without the use of the bracelets. But while you went through the portal, our summoning interfered and altered the portal the Bracelets opened. The 'universal wavelength', as you call it, is too different for you to find your way back."

"So we're stuck here because of you two?!" DaDan complained.

"You're the ones that insisted on following them, all because of your obsessions." the male said, before he was grabbed by Jasper and slammed against a wall.

"Enough talking! Let's just force them to send us back!" the Ultimate Jasper yelled.

"Jasper, put him down!" Techno ordered, the Gem complying with a growl. "Look, we had no intention of starting a fight in Eylos. I only wanted to observe first contact, that's all. But that's beside the point. The point: you must be trying to summon the alliance for a reason. I propose a trade of services: we help you with…whatever you're attempting to do, and you find a way to send us home."

"Trust you? That's a laugh, we-" the male started.

"No, Nil." the woman spoke up. "We can't turn down an offer for aid…even from them. Our situation is too dire to be picky."

The man called Nil stew over this for a moment before he sighed. "Oh, okay, Nel. But I'm keeping an eye on them. I won't let them hurt you."

"While we intended to summon the alliance, they might be busy with something else on their end for the time being, so as unholy as it may seem, we require whatever aid you are able to provide." Nel said.

"As long as you can get us out of here, we'll assist you to the best of our ability." Techno promised.

"Alright, as long as we're stuck with each other, give us the details." Flux said. "What's the goal in all this?"

"Uh, maybe we should start by getting on a first-name basis?" Torchwick asked for Neo's sake.

"Fair enough. You may call me Nel. And this is my twin brother Nil." Nel introduced.

"I'm gettin' some weird readings from you two. You guys are the same as that Alear girl, right?" Boba asked.

"Not quite. We aren't Divine Dragons, if that's what you're thinking." Nil said. "It's the opposite."

"Fell Dragons?" Techno remarked. "Hmm…most Fell Dragons I've heard of aren't as passive as you two. Special circumstances?"

"...You could say that." Nil said, in a tone suggesting not to follow that line of questioning.

"(One more question I think needs to be asked that relates to a theory I have about what you said before.)" Fezandipiti asked. "(Those Trainers that faced us before… David Ishihara, Shun'ei, and Himiko Yumeno… Did they catch us in this reality?)"

"...Yes, they did. Although your times with your new Trainers were very brief, the three of you were still together until the very end." Nel said.

"(I see… So this means that some events in this reality played out differently than the way we saw it.)" Okidogi said.

"Yes. You may even hear mentions of the alliance having different members than what you have come to know." Nil said.

"(Hold on… Someone is coming…)" Fezandipiti said.

Entering the chamber were several soldiers as well as a few cloaked figures.

"I thought you said there were only six left alive. This seems more than six." Dabi said.

"Remember what Munkidori said? Almost everyone in this world is dead. So… What does that make these guys?" DaDan asked. "And…why are some of them in cloaks?"

"I promise you, once we bring the Hero Alliance here to this world, we'll explain everything." Nel said. "For now, we must drive them back." Nel said.

"Oh…is that so?" Flux said, as he fired a weapon at the circle and destroyed it.

"Flux?!" Techno exclaimed.

"As of now, this world is Universal Villain property." Flux said.

"I KNEW this would happen." Nil said.

"Amadeus, for the love of god, have you abandoned reason?!" Techno sputtered. "What use is a dead world?!"

"Where you see a dead world, I see opportunity." Flux said. "Think about it. This multiverse is barely keeping itself together. If we take out their big bad and mass produce the revival formula, we could reign as kings…maybe even gods."

"Would you talk some sense into him? He's your ancestor." Nil said to Techno.

"I wish I could, Nil, but when he gets like this, there's little chance in stopping him." Techno sighed. "Flux, if you're going to try this, perhaps we should focus on surviving these assassins first?"

"Plus, we don't even know who or what this big bad is." Torchwick said.

"Ah, but there's an easy way of doing that. We take out all these assassins first!" Flux said, taking out a gun as he fired at a sword-wielding enemy who ducked before being hit by the second bullet. "Yes…got…" he said as one soldier ran in with a flaming fist before they were put down by Boba Fett.

"You all right?" Boba asked.

"Yeah…I'm good." Flux said. "(Was I imagining things or…was that enemy's fist on fire? And why did it…feel so familiar?)" he thought.

"We'll settle our boss's machinations later. Let's get these guys outta here!" Spinel said, punching a few soldiers with her ricocheting rubber fists.

"Pathetic insects, all of you." Frieza stated as he killed a score of them with Death Beams. One of them then fired a wave right at Frieza as he dodged and attacked back and ended them. "(Wait…where have I seen that move before?)" he thought.

It didn't take long before the last of the assassins were dealt with.

"Well…that was all of them." Techno said. "How long will it take to construct a new gateway between multiverses?"

"It will take time until a new one is completed." Nel said. "Until then however, it looks as though we'll have to work together to keep things under control."

"What do you need?" Boba asked.

"We need assistance in recovering the Seven Emblem Bracelets." Nel said.

"Huh?! But those things are with the Heroes in our multiverse!" Spinel pointed out.

"No…she's talking about the set that exists in this multiverse." Flux said.

"Amadeus is correct. However, unlike the bracelets you found in your universe, these ones have been corrupted with massive amounts of Fell Dragon energy." Nel said.

"Corrupted? You can turn them evil?" Ian asked. "...Wish we'd known about that. Would've made our lives easier."

"If we can stay on topic, I assume the ones who possess these bracelets won't just hand them over." Techno said. "We're familiar with all seven of them. Who has them in this universe?"

"Lythos holds possession of the Bracelets of the Ancestor and the Shepherd Exalt. The Bracelet of the Brash General was entrusted to Firene, and the Bracelet of the Lonely Heir to Brodia. Meanwhile, Elusia holds possession of the Bracelet of The Strategist. Finally, Solm has the Bracelet of the Doting Sister."

"I'm only counting six. There should be another." Flux said.

"The Bracelet of the Three Houses currently lies on the Somniel on the ocean surface, the Divine Dragon of this World placed a ward on it, only they can break it." Nel said.

"So that one's off limits. Got it." Twice said.

"Okay…guess since it's closer, we'll start with Firene." Flux said.

"Very well. We can take our ship." Techno proposed, before he turned to the two Fell Dragons. "Unless you two want to keep us at arms' length."

"You should go, Nel. I'll focus on reconstructing the Summoning Circle so we can bring the heroes here." Nil said.

"You're still intent on that?" DaDan asked. "Well, fine… Since we're stuck here anyway, I guess we don't have a right to complain."

"Especially since we will need a way out after we're done." Shigaraki said.

"Are you sure you want to stay behind, Nil? Without you, I won't be able to transform." Nel said.

"True. But you have to be the one to go with them in case they double-cross us. You're the more capable fighter after all." Nil said.

"Understood." Nel said. "Let's be off." she said as they went off.

"Techno…did you notice during the fight…" Flux asked. "One of them could use fire magic. And another fired a Kamehameha."

"You're right." Techno agreed. "I have a very bad feeling that there's something those two aren't telling us."

"Yeah. As for these enemies…I have my own personal theory…but I really don't wanna have to say it out loud…cause I know it'll be true…and heart breaking." Flux said.

"I see… We'll just have to see if it holds water as we progress." Techno said.

As soon as they left, Nil looked to the darkness.

"They're gone. You know, you were lucky I pulled you out before my sister and those guys came." Nil asked a figure.

"I realize that. Where I was, it was definitely not an easy feat." the figure said before emerging was a familiar foe, now covered in scars with one eye missing. "Thank you, Nil." Tormal said.

"Although, I was not expecting those villains of all people to be the ones drawn here. It must have been when I was connecting to the Lost Universe." Nil said.

"It was all a series of circumstances. They were just unfortunate enough to have been caught in the temporal shift." Tormal said.

"Do you still want to do this? I mean, your fight with those heroes almost got you killed." Nil said. "And from what I see, the Lost Beasts had their fun with you."

"While I may not be the same as when I left, my mind remains focused. A small light is intent on restoring this multiverse and I do not intend to let it be reborn. But before I can do that, I need to construct my army. For that, I need soldiers."

"Well, you got some right here." Nil said, pointing to the fallen hooded figures. "You won't get much out of the normal Corrupted. But them…that's a different story. That is, if you really want an army made of…them?"

"Why not? They were formidable when they still breathed. Plus, it's more efficient than a bunch of zombies, no?" Tormal asked. "After all…" he said as he removed the hood off one of them….

…and underneath it was Natsu.

"It's more satisfying this way. If the Universal Villains are going to assist this world for now, who better to oppose them, than the Hero Alliance?" Tormal said. "This will be the ultimate twist of roles. The Villains, fighting and failing to save this world, defeated once again by their mortal enemies that were the heroes."

"And once the real Heroes they know are finally here, they won't know the difference. In one fell swoop, they'll destroy each other." Nil realized.

"Which will leave the Color-Verse ripe for the picking." Tormal said.

"For now though, we still need them to gather the bracelets. And I need to still get the Divine Dragon." Nil said. "At least Nel will keep the Villains in check. I was worried a little knowing Amadeus' history."

"He has no idea his lust for power and obsession to defeat Jexi is what led to his own destruction." Tormal said. "I'll remain hidden for now. You reconstruct the means to bring Alear and the Heroes here. Once both sides are together all in one place… that's when we'll begin."

"Of course. You can count on me." Nil said. "After all…what are friends for?"

"Indeed. After all, you were close to my brothers and I." Tormal said.
