Chapter 5

Integra was sitting at her desk, twirling her pen in her hand looking down at a stack of translated news articles from across Europe in dismay. Millennium was on the move, and they were being extremely careful about it. All of the articles were extremely vague, mostly they were UFO Sightings, however one in Prague mentioned a murder suspect who was suspected to be wearing a nazi uniform. She heard a knock at her door and looked up to see Harry and Schrodinger standing there.

"Come on in and take a seat. I think I have some blood pops here for you, Schrodinger." Integra said, reaching into her desk and handing him one.

"Danke Sir Integra." Schrodinger said, popping it into his mouth.

"How are you feeling?" Harry asked. Physically, well. Emotionally... Ashamed. Harry I have been awful to you." Integra said.

"Yes, you have, but we both know why and that you're not doing it on purpose." Harry said plainly.

"It's still horrible. You are the one who has done more for me than... well really anyone now that I think about it. Oh god..." Integra said, stifling a sob. Harry got up and walked behind her desk to hug her.

"It's ok. I promise you it's ok. I have pretty thick skin. Besides I've caused you plenty of grief, and if it makes you feel any better, I gave Alucard a lot of horrible ideas of things to do to Reggie." Harry said. She laughed, but still felt miserable. Harry sighed and got down on one knee, and took her hands.

"The ones that we love have the more power to hurt us than anyone else in the world, but they also have more power to heal us than anyone in the world. You've given me so much Integra. I'd have never met Seras if not for you. Growing up the one thing I wanted more than anything was family, and with Hellsing I've found that. It's going to take a lot more than you losing patience and saying something mean to drive me away." Harry said. Integra smiled at him and leaned forward kissing his cheek.

"God Bless you, Harry Potter." Integra said.

"Harry Potter-Victoria." Harry corrected her with a grin. Integra blew her nose and looked over at Schrodinger.

"I apologize Schrodinger, you didn't need to see that." Integra said.

"It's not a problem, Sir Integra. Harry's been telling me that being part of a family is often difficult and painful, but almost always worth it in the end." Schrodinger said.

"So, what brings you two here today?" Integra said.

"Zorin and Rip needed a little time to themselves." Harry said, waiting for Integra to take a sip of tea before adding, "so that they can have sex." Integra spit her tea all over Harry, who laughed and cleaned himself with his wand.

"Ok I had that one coming." Harry said.

"There is a child present!" Integra admonished.

"Ja but it's ok, Harry will grow up eventually." Schrodinger said, with a wry grin.

"That's my boy." Harry said patting his head.

A few hours later, Harry returned to Zorin and Rip's house and was let in by two very happy looking vampires. Schrodinger went to his room to play with his new animated dragon and Rip and Zorin sheepishly asked Harry to join them in their bedroom where he stood dumbfounded at the twisted wreckage that had been their reinforced bed.

"But... I reinforced it..." Harry said.

"I'm sorry... we got a little enthusiastic." Zorin said, blushing wildly. Harry shook his head to recover from the shock, before waving his wand and repairing it.

"No matter. That's just another challenge for me to overcome. Give me a couple weeks." Harry said.

"Thanks..." Rip said, mortified. Harry looked at her and smiled.

"Nothing to be ashamed, of Rip. Seras and I went through a couple of beds. Love is beautiful, even when it leaves destroyed furniture in its wake." Harry said with a grin. They walked back out to the Kitchen before Harry experienced a sudden realization.

"I've never cooked for you guys, have I?" Harry asked.

"Well no, but I mean, we can't eat human food Harry." Rip said. Harry grinned.

"Seras didn't tell you? No matter. Food mixed with human blood is completely digestible. I cook for Seras and Alucard all the time. Sit down and I'll make something... Indian." Harry said, rummaging through their cupboards. He'd filled their pantry and refrigerator with all kinds of foods in case Zorin and Rip wanted to host their human friends. It was with unmasked awe that they watched him dancing around the kitchen. Schrodinger came out when he heard the noise and was extremely curious about the different smells being produced by Harry's cooking.

"Seras is a lucky woman. He's smart, funny, kind, good looking and he cooks." Rip observed.

"He's strong too. Alucard told me that he's the first person he's met who had the ability to best him since Abraham Hellsing." Schrodinger said.

"Curry powder... there it is!" Harry said before going back to his cooking.

"You're serious?" Zorin asked.

"You saw him during the battle, Zorin." Rip said.

"I know, but I mean, that monster... He killed it with a muffin, not some feat of strength or magic." Zorin said.

"A mini-muffin technically, but let's not split hairs... Ah cumin!" Harry said,

"The thought that a Human could best Alucard... It seems implausible." Zorin said.

"He's quite adept at fire magic. He showed me fiendfyre, the fire lash, the 'Ass Cannon'" Schrodinger said. Zorin and Rip shivered, all three of those spells would bring them to a very painful death.

"I've also picked up another fun trick since the battle. Since this needs to simmer, want a demonstration?" Harry said, wiping his hands off.

"Sure." Zorin said.

"Ok." Harry said, placing his elbow down on the counter with his hand raised.

"You're serious?" Zorin asked. Harry nodded. Zorin shrugged, put her elbow down as well and grasped his hand.

"Harry you're going to get hurt." Rip said.

"Aww come on, it's just a bit of arm wrestling. Call it Schrodinger." Harry said.

"Ok, 3...2...1!" Schrodinger said. Zorin pushed with a fraction of her strength, and Harry didn't budge. Confused, she applied more and more, and he would not move. He smirked, and then he pushed. She shrieked as her fist was planted into the countertop with the force of his strength. Harry grinned and Zorin and Rip stared at him open-mouthed. Schrodinger cheered.

"H-how?" Zorin asked.

"While we were all recovering from London, I got into a philosophical debate with Alucard...

-Flashback-

"You couldn't beat me without magic." Alucard said

"Wanna bet?" Harry said, grinning.

"You're on, little wizard." Alucard said, grinning.

"Hey Integra, Can you tell Alucard that he lost?" Harry asked.

"Alucard you lose." Integra said, not even looking up from the book she was reading.

"Yes, my master." Alucard said, glaring at Harry who was beaming at him.

"Fine, let's rephrase it. I bet you cannot defeat me in fair combat without casting spells or getting Integra involved." Alucard said, grinning.

"Sure, lemme think a minute. Can't cast spells... I wonder..." Harry said, before assuming a fighting stance.

"Ready?" Alucard said grinning. Harry nodded.

"Begin." Alucard said. Harry moved inhumanly fast towards Alucard, slamming head first into his chest and sending him flying through a wall outside into the forest beyond the grounds. Harry looked up at the newly ruined wall and scratched his chin.

"Maybe slower next time." Harry said.

"The wall, Harry?" Integra said, still reading.

"Ah, sorry boss." Harry said fixing the wall with a repairo. Before the last of the wall closed they could all hear Alucard's joyous laughter.

-Flashback End-

So I can massively reinforce any part of my body with my magic. Instead of focusing through my wand into a spell I just kind of direct it to the parts of my body that I want to be stronger, faster, and more durable. I can do my whole body for short periods of time but it's extremely taxing on my magic. I'm working on that though." Harry explained, waving his wand to repair the counter.

"IS your arm ok, Zorin?" Harry asked. She nodded dumbly. Harry sniffed at the air.

"Ah!" Harry said, separating a small portion for himself, then slashing his hand open and dripping it into the sauce, before drizzling it over the chicken and rice.

"There we go! Chicken Curry. Haven't made it in a long time, hope it's good." Harry said grinning and handing each of them a bowl. Schrodinger immediately dug in, he basically trusted Harry implicitly, but Zorin and Rip just stared at Schrodinger.

"It's really good!" Schrodinger said with his mouth full.

"Don't talk with your mouth full, Schrodinger." Harry said. He nodded sheepishly. Rip took a tentative bite, fully expecting to violently regurgitate it almost immediately and was shocked to find it not only edible, but amazing. Zorin followed suit and moaned in pleasure at the taste.

"Tricky bit is forgetting which has blood and which doesn't. I should get special dishes for us normies." Harry said with a grin.

"There is absolutely nothing normal about you, Harry." Zorin said with a full mouth.

"Don't talk with your mouth full, Zorin." Schrodinger said with a grin. She nodded sheepishly.
