Yes, I took some inspiration from Omni-Man last chapter. Very similar dynamic, so I thought I'd throw in a few Invincible references.

Monster King: Thanks!

Ivory Insanity: I'm on the fence. I'm not necessarily shy about killing people off, and my cast has certainly had some pretty close calls...but I don't want my story to be too dark. I already have a fairly happy ending planned, so I'd say the number of main cast fatalities would be similar to Part 4.

I want to keep the core theme of "passing the torch to the next generation" from MHA, as I feel it's a good message. So not many students will die...I'll only kill someone off when they fulfill their purpose in the story.

Obviously the current arc is dark, but it's centered around the villains and has KARS as the main antagonist, so it has to be. I'm of the firm belief that stakes don't always mean death.

The three students involved in this fight will suffer consequences, mental and physical.

To answer your question: I'm willing, but I'm very particular with major deaths.

Jpx0999: Just like in canon, Izuku entering 'rage mode' is actually a bad thing. He won't unlock Quirks...but he'll make a pretty major mistake that will cost him going forward.

Bearticguy7: Fun!

Alexander Lawliet: Don't worry about it!

Yung Chxst: Not alone he isn't. There isn't a volcano this time.

Jotaro Gaming: I like them! I'll try and incorporate them in!

Kasumi Kenshiro: It truly seems hopeless, doesnt it?

Death Omen Star: Well, the Necromancer and DIO played Shigaraki, Kars knew that the way to control AFO was to feed his ego. Now he's lying in the dirt like the piece of shit he is.

FinchFlyingAce: Planning a big finale for this fight, one that will change things.

Guest: He's on his way!

So...shit hit the fan.

I am a villain, but I have to be in order to get things done. Legality doesn't matter when you have a goal to protect.

Kars had his own goals, those separate from mine. He had always wished for the Pillar Men to evolve into an apex species, to conquer the sun. He was committed to his ideals, just as I am, he had even killed his own parents...

To be fair, they tried to kill him first.

A well-meaning genius, led down a path of darkness by ambition, and rejection. Kars had looped me into his cause when I was nothing more than an infant...probably after slaughtering my birth parents.

I wonder what they were like? Were my birth parents honorable? Would they have raised me with love and care had they lived? I never used to think of them before...

How times have changed.

Kars...do I love him? Is he still a father to me? Do I hate him? Do I despise him for weaponizing me?

As I have stated...I am a villain in the eyes of society...but not in the eyes of the LOV, although we no longer go by that name. I have laws for myself, laws that I will not break:

1. No innocent deaths unless necessary.

2. No matter how insignificant an ability may seem, everyone has a purpose.

3. Treat everyone who deserves respect, with respect, even enemies.

4. Be strong enough to be gentle, everyone makes mistakes. Every setback is a lesson, so do not take it out on them unless necessary.

5. Fight for the outcasts, and fight with HONOR.

That's it, that's all there is to it.

Kars had broken all of those rules at one point in time. He was the Ultimate Lifeform, able to replicate and surpass all life on Earth. He was a god by all accounts, invincible, and capable of almost everything under the sun...why did he need to follow them?

All were beneath him.

Which is why...when Izuku Midoriya joined the fight, arguably the most wrathful I have ever seen him, I already knew I needed to act. As powerful as OFA is, and would become...there is no universe in which it could ever compete with Kars.

Even though Izuku Midoriya has been my enemy...my code forbids his life to end unnecessarily.

Santana watched as the blond hero student fell into the arms of Momo Yaoyorozu, swearing under his breath. He didn't know, nor necessarily care about this apparent addition to the Joestar group.

But judging by the bloodcurdling scream that came from Izuku, it was someone important.

Damn it!

Kars hummed in thought, looking at his former lackey. "You seem to be extra bothered by this...do you know them? Oh...these are the kids, aren't they?"

"They are." Santana replied, about to unleash the last of the boost Kaminari gave him, but found that he was struggling to move.

What is this?!

"I have been releasing pure oxygen from the valves on my body from the moment you threw me out of the building. You are aware of what happens to copper when it is exposed to such elements, right?" Kars asked with a sly grin.

Santana's armor had turned a sickly green.

"It oxidizes."

SHIT!

I'm still trapped in this form for two minutes!

Santana crashed to the ground, grunting in pain as he left a crater. Trying to move his head, he managed to look Momo in the eye.

Last time they met, he was beating the shit out of her and her friends.

He had beaten Gyro Zeppeli to the brink of death, right in front of her.

He had used her like a baseball bat.

All of the resentment from that fight was in her eyes, and he could see it. Not only was she covered in her friend's blood, but was now locking eyes with a man she didn't really want to see again.

Yet, he needed to say something.

"RUN!"

Momo's eyes widened slightly as the Pillar Man attempted to point, fighting through the oxidization. "What?"

"RUN AWAY! THIS IS NOT YOUR FIGHT! YOU'LL DIE!" Santana yelled, struggling to get to his feet, when Kars landed on his back.

*CRACK!*

"AGGGH!"

"Quiet boy." Kars commanded, and turned to Momo himself. "Ah...you're the girl from the pyramid! Told you we would meet again!"

Momo backed away, her face a mask of pure terror. Kars had the same voice as The Stranger...

Encountering the Ultimate Lifeform without even realizing it was surely causing her a great deal of stress, and the fact that he recognized her must've made it all the more terrifying.

Then she looked down at her teammate.

Katsuki's eyes were rolled back into his head, and his mouth was wide open, gasping for breath. He was still conscious, in unbelievable pain thanks to being struck with a heat equal to that of the sun.

"Dr. Stewart said you were dangerous...even if he didn't know exactly what you were...he caught onto you." Momo managed to say, swallowing her fear to look Kars in the eye, glaring. "If he were here, he would've figured you out. We would've been ready for you...I should've looked into you, I should've been more concerned..."

She's blaming herself for not identifying Kars when she first encountered him. Santana realized. I have no idea about this pyramid...or who this Dr. Stewart is...unless...is she referring to the Doctor?

He gave me that mechanical box to help with my bad lung...he did disappear...

"You mean the old man you were traveling with? The one with the mask? Did he die?" Kars responded. "Awww...such a shame. He seemed to like you."

"You were wrong Santana...this IS OUR FIGHT!" Momo said, turning her attention to the downed Pillar Man. "You think we can just sit by as this...this BASTARD just hurt our friend?! I don't care how powerful you are Kars...and clearly...Izuku doesn't either!"

That was the first time anyone had ever heard Momo utter a curse.

At that moment, a fist slammed into Kars' face. Izuku's eyes, brimming with tears, were also glowing a bright green. Dark flames burned in his irises as he sent Kars flying.

"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!"

Izuku had finally decided to cross the line, he was fighting to kill.

Kars skipped along the ground, rolling towards a small flower. Noticing this, he extended a bone blade and dug it into the ground, slowing himself down...

The flower was spared.

Kars looked at it for a minute as Izuku hurtled towards him. He then turned toward a the approaching OFA user, giving him a glare...

Which soon turned into a manic grin.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The Ultimate Lifeform cackled, looking at Izuku with pure amusement. "That actually kind of hurt! I'm impressed!"

"YOU WON'T BE LAUGHING AFTER I'M DONE WITH YOU!" Izuku screamed, and black tendrils emerged from his hands, destroying the environment around him. Blackwhip had responded to Izuku's rage, and was now going berserk.

Kars smirked as he unfurled his his wings, flying through that carnage and around Izuku's fist. "Sure, I'm up for a bit of fun. Would you like to play a game of chicken?"

Kars proceeded to fire chickens at the enraged OFA user, satisfied with his pun.

The feral birds were smacked aside by Blackwhip, but a few managed to peck at Izuku before he knocked them aside with a spin kick, exploding in blood and feathers. A portion of Blackwhip wrapped around Kars' neck, attempting to yank him back.

Instead, Kars yanked Izuku upwards, using only his neck muscles.

Kars then kicked upwards, catching Izuku in the chin. This blow, although half-hearted, was enough to cause Izuku to spit blood.

"You're bleeding already? Come on, that can't be all you can do!"

Momo finished tying Katsuki to the drone, and jotted down the location of Recovery Girl's office in it's GPS system. "Bakugo...hold on..."

There was no time to bring him to Josuke, and Giorno wasn't anywhere nearby either. Their only hope was Recovery Girl, or the hospital. The attention Katsuki needed was IMMEDIATE.

"De...ku...save..."

"I will. No one will die today, that's my promise to you."

"...thank you..."

Katsuki closed his eyes as the drone carried him off, and Momo took out the Amputator.

"Yaoyorozu...you must free me!" Santana pleaded, and Momo turned to glare at the Pillar Man. "I know I have wronged you, but this is a situation only I can handle! You and Midoriya can't fight Kars on your own!"

"Free you? How exactly do you expect me to?"

"Vinegar and salt...both you can create. It can remove the oxidation from my body...I know you and I are enemies, and I have done you and your friends harm...but right now there is more at stake than your animosity towards me! Please!"

Momo pressed her lips together, and outstretched her palm.

"I can never forgive you for what you did that day...you terrorized me and my friends, tore off my best friend's ear, killed a man, and almost took Gyro from us..."

The ravenette knelt down, glaring at the Pillar Man.

"Despite that...you've always shown us respect. I can only show it to you in turn."

"You deserved it. You especially Yaoyorozu...you've grown since we last met, haven't you?" Santana asked.

"Yes, I have."

"Good, I can see it in your eyes, you've matured." Salt and vinegar was sprayed on Santana, and the Pillar Man began getting to his feet, scrubbing the green goo off with his hands. "Your group continues to be worthy adversaries...thank you for this, Yaoyorozu, I shall repay this act of respect..."

Santana, freed, summoned his hammer with a fierce glare in his blood red eyes.

"...by cleaning up the mess I have made."

"UA has been damaged by the mysterious villain's rampage, and the heroes have been trying to contain the damage. One student, by the name of Katsuki Bakugo, has already been admitted to urgent care thanks to the actions of his classmate, Momo Yaoyorozu, hero name: Creati. As of right now, he is the only student who has been injured."

"Why are things always happening to that kid in particular?"

"Fire off the coast of Morioh, a mysterious boat, which appears to be the old American prison ship, The Barge, has not only appeared suddenly, but is now an inferno. Reports of inhuman shrieks, sonic booms, and large...tentacles? Really? Okay...have been sent from those living close to the shore."

"What the fuck happened over there?!"

"This is what happens when you sleep in like a jackass!"

"Quiet and let me find out what the fuck is going on!"

"Pro heroes Hawks and Mirko are apparently on other missions, and are unable to assist in the rescue. Last sightings of them show that they went into the forest with a few imterns...apparently to investigate the sightings of supernatural creatures. They have not been seen since..."

"Damn it...they're both top heroes. Japan loses them, everything erupts into chaos...more than it has already..."

"What are we gonna do?"

"Do what we do best of course...I've had my eye on Hawks for a while, there's something about him...no...his superiors. I'd be pretty interested on what the PSHC is up to...especially during a time like this..."

"We're following Hawks then?"

Tombstone finished wrapping up his face, twirling a revolver before putting it in his holster.

"Those kids are involved in this somehow, meaning there's more to this than meets the eye. There's too many near disaster events happening at once...somethin's fucked about all this...and I have a feelin' in my gut...that followin' Hawks might just lead us to the source."

"Oh boy! I hope we get to shoot things!" His skeletal Stand said, clapping it's hands together. "Nothing like a good ol' fashioned gunfight!"

Tombstone's bright green eyes rolled in exasperation. "You're impossible. Alright...let's move."

The Shoggoth roared in anger as Penance slammed into it.

"Ugly ass motherfucker!"

Kars, from afar, was controlling the monstrosity towards civilization. If they didn't stop it soon, deaths and injuries would go from double digits to quadruple.

It left a trail of decay behind, like a snail left it's trail of slime, except this was only destruction. The giant worm of death wasn't stopping, regardless of what they were doing to it. No matter how many wounds they dealt, it was still going.

A few heroes had joined the fight, including Thirteen, who was trying to swallow the creature with a black hole.

Himiko angrily charged into battle, chasing away the remaining PLF members with AFO's helmet on a stick. His head wasn't in it of course, that would be barbaric...

Didn't hurt to make them think it was.

AFO himself was laying in the dirt, wheezing away. He wasn't conscious, and was barely clinging to life, Santana had given him a worse beating than All Might did.

The only reason he was alive was that Santana had something worse than death planned for him.

The Shoggoth angrily twisted in a circle, slamming it's tail into the ground, scattering the people around it.

Kamui Woods tried to hold it back with branches, only for them to decay away. He was forced to sever the branches to prevent the decay from spreading to him. "We can't touch it's hands!"

"IT HAS LIKE...A THOUSAND OF THEM!" Thirteen yelled, slowly pulling the creature back. "My black holes might be the only way..."

Nagant dropped down, grunting, and hobbled towards Himiko. "Oi, kid...where's Santana?"

"I don't know...he was fighting AFO, and clearly he won...but then he disappeared, and Tomura became this thing."

"Santana wouldn't abandon his troops without purpose..." Nagant said, putting a finger to her chin. "He's likely still in danger."

"By who?! He had this huge upgrade to his Stand!" Himiko protested.

"Whoever turned Shigaraki into THAT, because there's no way he did that to himself." Nagant replied, looking at the monstrosity with disgust. "I don't think Shigaraki's himself anymore, that thing needs to be destroyed."

"How? The heroes can't do it...how could we?"

"Do we have explosives?"

*BOOM!*

Kars was sent sprawling across the forest floor as Izuku angrily rushed after him. The OFA user was not holding back in the slightest, and it was starting to take a toll on his arms.

All this for a childhood bully.

But was Katsuki ever just a bully? No, he wasn't, he was always more than that to Izuku. This was one of his greatest inspirations, someone he had always admired despite the abuse he had suffered.

Perhaps there was resentment, bitterness, and while he never excused Katsuki's actions..never hatred. He couldn't imagine being capable of such a thing...

Now it was all he could feel.

He had barely registered who he was fighting. Kars, the Ultimate Lifeform of all people. He didn't stop to think about the gravity of this battle, or how useless his efforts were. The only thing on his mind was the blood flying out of Katsuki's mouth, his skin bubbling and evaporating...

Izuku's blood was boiling too, just in a different way.

"You're quite powerful for a human!" Kars complimented, having regenerated from the blow. "Don't tell me...you're the one with OFA, right? AFO would never shut up about you!"

Normally, Izuku would've questioned how he had figured it out, but right now he just didn't care.

Using Blackwhip, ignoring the destruction his yet-to-be-trained second Quirk was causing, he latched on to Kars and reeled him in for a hit. "SHUT UP!"

Kars simply caught Izuku's fist, and bent his arm backwards.

*SNAP!*

"AAAAGH!"

More a scream of rage more than of pain, Izuku put more of OFA into his broken arm, and began forcing Kars' hand back down. Surprised, the ULF turned his fist into a crab claw, pinching down on the broken arm, cutting to the bone.

Izuku still kept pushing.

"Why are you throwing away your life so recklessly?" Kars asked, confused. "I'd imagine the pain is excruciating...you do realize how pointless all of this is, right?"

"YOU HURT KACCHAN!" Izuku screamed.

"What the fuck is a Kacchan?"

Izuku suddenly wrenched his mangled arm free, and used the momentum to bash Kars in the chin.

A feint! He mangled his arm on purpose, so he could hit me with the other!

Kars suddenly had a serious expression.

He was starting to see Joseph in Izuku's place. The cleverness, the persistence, the rage when he had stabbed Lisa Lisa in the back...

"I assume this 'Kacchan' is the boy I took out back there. It's always the same with you humans." Kars said, smirking as he decided to add fuel to the fire. "'You hurt my friend, I'll never forgive you!' Do you have any idea how many times I've heard that? Why don't you people try and say something original for once?"

He had a plan.

Last time I underestimated someone like this boy, I ended up in space. So I'm not taking any chances with a straight attack. Let him beat me up for a while...

Let him hurt, and weaken himself. I can take it.

"Honestly, the boy is better off dead after what I did to him."

"LIAR!" Izuku screamed, kicking Kars across the face. "THE ONLY PERSON BETTER OFF DEAD, IS YOU!"

"I don't know...my Hamon is equivalent to the sun's power...I liquefied whatever it was I hit. If I knicked a lung...that's it. He'll be hooked up to machines for the remainder of his short life...if he isn't dead already."

"NO, I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!"

Kars smiled, even as a blow to the face caused his eyeball to pop out. "Do you know why I aimed for you? Why your friend took the hit? I was simply trying to kill as many humans as possible...just to prove a point. Your Kacchan got hurt simply because I wanted to teach a lesson!"

"KEEP HIS NAME OUT OF YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!" Izuku roared, flinging Kars around like a yo-yo, his berserker rage keeping him from realizing that the ULF never lost his smile. "ONLY I CAN CALL HIM THAT!"

"I don't...OOF!...know his real name. Only your little pet name for him!"

*CRASH!*

The ground was littered with large craters, each of them made with Kars' body, as Izuku's broken arm began mending itself, glowing with a red energy.

He's healing! I knew he had a few tricks up his sleeve. Kars thought as he observed the mending process. The energy seems to flow like a current of water...I see...it's responding to his anger and hatred...healing him faster.

Evil stuff to be sure. Now where is the source?

The chest...how predictable.

A bone blade popped out, discreetly severing Blackwhip.

"What's your name, boy? You interest me."

"FUCK YOU!"

"Izuku Midoriya...interesting..."

Izuku paused, hearing his name had brought him back to some semblance of sense. "How...did you know that?"

"Izuku...it reminds me of Icarus in a way. You know, the son of the legendary inventor Daedalus in Greek Mythology? He had flown his makeshift wings too close to the sun..."

"What?"

Kars grinned.

"I'm the sun in this scenario."

*SLICE!*

Kars sliced straight into Izuku's chest, cutting straight through the silver chestplate he was wearing under his clothes. Thriller's energy flew everywhere.

It had also cut into his flesh. If the silver wasn't there, Izuku's chest would've been sliced wide open.

Instead, it left a deep cut.

"ACK!" Izuku gagged as he struggled to maintain a grip on Kars, but the ULF simply kicked him off, causing the OFA user to smack into the ground.

Kars held up his hand, revealing Izuku's hero license.

"Bringing me close to you wasn't a good idea. I could've killed you just as easily as I swiped this little license of yours."

Izuku got to his feet, and finally seemed to notice the damage that was done to his body. "Shit..."

"What is the phrase? Ah...'sticks and stones may break your bones...'"

It was at that moment that reality finally hit Izuku. He finally realized how fucked he was. He had attacked the Ultimate Lifeform in a rage, but had isolated himself in the process...

He was literally alone with a god.

"Words have proven to be the DEATH OF YOU!" Kars said, as he turned his arms into that of gorillas. Crackling with the same rainbow spectrum of energy, he was about to unleash death upon Izuku.

He would be completely obliterated.

He knew I would injure myself...he wasn't taking any chances with me. He waited until I was weakened to attack...

He's perfectly fine, I didn't do shit to him. Of course I didn't...Kars is invincible for fuck's sake!

I lost my cool...and I'm going to die for it.

Izuku's gaze turned steely as he came to a resolution.

He might kill me...but I'm not gonna make it easy for him! If I can inconvenience him in some way...that's enough for me!

As long as my friends are safe...

Izuku took a step forward, and suddenly shot to the left, catching Kars off guard.

"You're still fighting?! What's with that look in your eyes?!"

Izuku had a determined glint as he readied a blow, and dodged a blast from Kars' Hamon. Bobbing and weaving through a hailstorm of armadillo shells, he began picking up speed, turning into a bolt of green lightning.

He was fighting an entire ecosystem now.

Poison frogs, piranhas, snakes...everything was trying to kill him as he drew closer to Kars' main body. A snake bit him in the leg, a piranha took off a chunk of his ear, but he still kept pushing...

Until he made it.

Kars stared in shock as a plethora of massive glowing fists filled his vision.

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

"100%..."

"IZUKU, NO!" Momo's voice screamed from a distance. Heavy footsteps, belonging to Santana, quickened their pace.

"UNITED STATES..."

"STOP! DON'T DO IT!"

"OF SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Using All Might's ultimate move at full power...

Izuku Midoriya's arms were blown to shit, with no Thriller to heal them. Blood sprayed everywhere as the blow connected, and Kars was sent hurtling into the ground, even coughing up blood.

The entire area erupted into a blinding white light, and the terrain was blown to smithereens. Santana was thrown back, crying out at the sheer power of OFA's wrath.

When the dust cleared, Izuku was still standing.

His arms were swollen and purple, and his hands looked like they were shattered at the knuckles. This was the worst break he ever had...

Then he collapsed, blood leaking out of his mouth.

"No...nonononono..." Momo muttered as she dashed over to her fallen friend, checked his pulse. "Damn it Izuku...you've gone too far this time..."

"Is he alive?" Santana questioned, and Momo nodded.

"Yes...but he pushed himself way too far...he isn't getting up for a while...and...his arms...the damage might end up being permanent."

Santana looked down at his enemy, recalling when the boy had attacked him during his battle with the heroes, regardless of his wounds. Something like this was unfortunately in character for him. "He fought valiantly...he really is a true warrior."

"You sound like Wammu."

Suddenly, Momo found herself staring down a bone blade, as Kars began rising from the crater left by Izuku's final attack, casting a menacing shadow over her.

There was a massive hole in the center of the Ultimate Lifeform's chest, but it was quickly closing up.

"I have never been so greviously wounded by a human before...a non-Hamon user too. The force of the impact was enough to significantly damage me. If I were a normal Pillar Man, I would've been knocked unconscious...but I'm above such things. This wound does not hinder me in the slightest..."

The hole closed up, and Kars raised the bone blade to the sky.

"OFA cannot compete with me, I am the Ultimate Lifeform! I surpass all life!"

"Not all life."

Kars' blade paused in it's descent. "What?"

Momo cradled her friend, pulling him closer to her and away from Kars. "You can still be beaten, Kars. You aren't as invincible as you think."

"I don't see any volcanoes around." The ULF retorted, his eyes narrowed. "Unless you're Joseph Joestar, and suddenly have some random master plan that you can pull out of your ass, I highly doubt you could beat me, Pyramid Girl."

"Oh, I could never beat you. In terms of power, I'm a bit behind my friends." Momo said honestly. Santana was getting his hammer ready, but Kars shot him a look. The Pillar Man, recognizing that Momo and Izuku were in fact hostages, backed off.

"Then why-"

"Because there are things in this world that can still beat you. Stands to be precise."

"You mean the new power Santana has? It hasn't beaten me yet."

"There is a Stand that can obliterate someone from existence. It's called Tusk, Joseph Joestar's great grandson wields it. He has a technique that is utterly inescapable, one shot and you're gone for good." Momo said, and Kars' eyebrows came down.

"Is that so?"

"It is. Some Stands are even capable of altering fate, hell, there might even be one that could turn you back into a normal Pillar Man. Stands have infinite possibilities...so really, the only way you could truly sit on top is if you have one yourself."

Kars lowered his blade. "You aren't lying..."

"I am not. Well...go ahead and kill us, it's a shame, considering I know where to get one."

"Heheh...Haha! I see what you're doing! You're trying to talk your way out of this!" Kars said, but hesitated. "Still...you make a valid point."

"Then how about a deal, Kars?"

The ULF glanced at Santana, who had stepped forward. "Deal? Santana, this whole thing has been to get you to see sense, so unless you join me once more, there will be no deal."

"I have access to a Stand Arrow...if you spare their lives-"

"Why? Do you care for them?"

"In a sense...they are my enemies, but enemies I have grown to respect. This is a matter of honor, Kars." Santana said. "They were the ones who scarred me...I am honor bound to face them myself."

Kars lowered his head to look his former lackey in the eye. "Is that so? What is your deal?"

"Walk away from them, let them recover and grow strong enough to face me...and then I will lay down my arms here and now, and I'll take you to the Stand Arrow. Then...you can become fully perfect."

Kars blinked, then retracted his blade, crossing his arms. "This is a trick, isn't it? You were so gung ho about following your own beliefs earlier, do you honestly expect me to think you'll compromise it for these children? This almost sounds like something Joestar would do."

"You know me so well, Karserino."

Kars' eyes went wide, before his face morphed into a look of pure hatred and disgust.

"JoJo..."

*CRACK!*

A gold steel ball slammed into the back of Kars' head, going straight through. Kars cried out in fury, swinging behind him, but something slipped straight through his legs, punching him right in the crotch.

"JOJO, YOU PEST!"

The hole in Kars' head had blown his eyes out, temporarily blinding him. Momo, with Santana's help, had bluffed, getting Kars to talk long enough for Joseph to get there in time.

Joseph slid to Momo's side, kneeling down to look at Izuku's arms. A saddened expression came across the eldest Joestar's face as he took a deep breath, sending a burst of Hamon into Izuku's right arm.

"I got your message...I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner."

"Can you mend his arms?" Momo asked, almost begging him to say yes.

"Hamon can only speed up the natural healing process...damage such as this...we can only hope..." Joseph replied, standing up to his feet. "Go, get Midoriya out of here...get him to Thriller, it's his best bet. All I did was mend what could be mended naturally."

"Mr. Joestar..."

"It was a good bluff you pulled back there, couldn't have bullshitted him better myself." Joseph said with a smile. "It's okay...I've got this. Get to safety, you'll find All Might waiting for you to help with the evacuation."

"I..."

"You did all you could...both of you. Unfortunately, defeating Kars in an all-out brawl is impossible."

Momo scooped up her friend, gazing at Joseph. "You'll beat him again...right? Please...tell me you can...I..."

There was a sad reality to the situation, one that the de-aged Joestar couldn't help but notice. No matter how great their achievements where, the Musketeers were still kids...

Kids he cared for, quite a bit.

Now, a scared teenaged girl, holding her broken friend, was begging him to save the world once more. There was no volcano this time...no Aja stone...

He had only gotten lucky when he had beaten Kars the last time.

However, looking into Momo's eyes, he couldn't bear to tell her how utterly hopeless their situation was.

"Of course...I'm the Great Joseph Joestar after all!" Joseph said, giving her a thumbs up.

Momo's drone came down to airlift them both out, but Momo had a determined glint in her eyes...

As if she wasn't quite done.

Joseph turned to look at Santana. "You're looking...shiny."

"You don't look a day older than when we first met." The Pillar Man retorted.

"Ah yes...I believe we last left things off hurtling down an elevator shaft. It was a series of...unfortunate events. You?"

"Likewise."

The two old enemies stared each other down, and a smirk slowly grew on Joseph's face. Santana narrowed his eyes from underneath his helmet.

"We're doing this, aren't we?"

"You better believe it, unless you've got cold feet from seeing my beautiful face, and are so consumed by hatred that you'll attack me instead. Or maybe we can be friends after all! We can have tea parties, do our nails, and-"

"Oh my God...shut the fuck up and fight already."

Kars' eyeball reformed, and shadows blanketed his face. The air developed an unsettling chill, as a wave of killing intent hit Joseph, causing him to shudder.

Kars wasn't fighting seriously before, all of those humans he killed? Battling Izuku? It was a game to him. Now, however, he was staring at the man who doomed him to almost a full century of mindlessly floating through space, grinning as if he didn't subject Kars to the most torturous experience in his long life.

"You know JoJo...I'm actually glad you've lived this long..." Kars said. "Even better...you're in your physical prime. I have...so many...YEARS...OF PAYBACK FOR YOU!"

"Oh yeah, how was the view of Earth?" Joseph taunted.

"Getting smaller by the day..." Kars replied, nashing his teeth with fury. "I lost my FUCKING MIND! Now..I'm going to BREAK YOU, and then, only when you beg for mercy, I will erase your pathetic existence from this fucking planet!"

"You're going to have to catch me first..."

"Wait...JoJo, don't you fucking dare." Santana said, angrily turning towards his enemy.

Joseph grinned manically, giving Kars the middle finger, before taking off as fast as he could.

"NIGERUNDAYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"JOJO!" Both Kars and Santana screamed, one in frustration, and one in a pure rage. Both took off after him, one to keep up, and the other to pursue.

Nagant limped up to her perch, signaling the other villains to get in their positions.

We only have one shot at this...if we don't kill this monster now...thousands will die. I may not be a hero anymore...but I won't stand for this!

Not to mention, there was something she wasn't telling the villains...there were a few people on the other side of the coin she wanted to protect.

They've done so much for me...even getting me a phone to use inside prison...I initially agreed to work for Santana to protect them...although now he has my respect...

I wonder...should I tell them I'm out? They'd protect me...I know they will.

She was walking a thin line, her care for a few heroes, and her resolve to help this group of villains. Avoiding the PSHC's gaze...trying to rebuild her life from scratch.

Himiko gave her a thumbs up from the side, and Penance from the back. The Cartoonist was sketching something, muttering to herself.

"This only works with hand-drawn characters you know! Live-action or computer-animated characters turn out really weird!" The villainess called out.

"Considering Shigaraki turned into a Lovecraftian monster, we need a little weird!" Himiko called back. "Hurry! We have to find Santana!"

"Alrighty! Here goes nothing!" The Cartoonist said, and flipped the sheet of paper she was using to the ground.

Immediately, a dark figure rose up from the pages. It's shiny black armor glistened in the sunlight as it raised a gloved hand.

The sound of mechanical breathing filled the air, and Thirteen stared in shock, backing up as the figure lifted it's head to meet the Shoggoth.

Darth Vader ignited his red lightsaber, and rose to meet the monstrosity.

"Me no want you to move." He said in James Earl Jones' voice.

"Shit! You made him stupid!"

"I TOLD YOU THEY GET WEIRD!"

"You no underestimate power of dark side." The warped Vader said, raising his hand to the sky. The Shoggoth gagged as it was Force Choked, being lifted into the air. "Me stronk, you not.

"Stupid Vader is doing it!" Penance yelled as he used his muscle whips to latch onto the remanents of Tomura's skull. Planting a bit of C4 that Compress had brought with him in a marble, before his impaling that is...Penance gave Nagant a thumbs up as he lept off.

Putting an eye to her scope, she aimed her arm rifle towards the bomb on the Shoggoth's head. With Stupid Vader restraining it, she had a clear shot to blow it's brain to oblivion.

That is, until giant muscley hands covered it's face, decaying the bomb instantly. It had grown extra arms to deal with the threat.

"SHIT!"

Not good! NOT GOOD!

The arms behind extending, lifting the monstrous death worm into the air. Eyeballs that lined the side of it's body focused on Stupid Vader, and immediately attacked the demented Sith Lord.

Vader cut down the arms, his lightsaber flashing with a crimson glow as he narrowly avoided getting decayed.

Another arm shot right for Himiko, and she narrowly avoided it, throwing herself to the ground. The hand began decaying the ground, but Himiko was pulled out of danger...

By Thirteen.

The woman's helmet was cracked open, revealing a kind face. The space hero gave Himiko one last smile...

Before being crushed to death by one of the Shoggoth's limbs, blood flying everywhere. Himiko was on the ground, frozen, processing what had just happened.

A hero had just died saving her, a villain.

Reportedly, Ochako's favorite hero.

Penance was bashed away as the Shoggoth grew in size, and was now the same height as a building. Kars' bone was mutating Tomura/Tenko further in response to the threat.

Stupid Vader was struck when an arm lopped around and touched him from behind, and he began to disintegrate.

"Poodme..."

"NOOOOOOOOOO! STUPID VADER!" The Cartoonist screamed. "HE WAS SO CUTE!"

Nagant stood frozen, her cynicism coming back in full force.

Of course...why did I think we'd be able to do this? These are forces beyond our understanding... it was stupid...this is all stupid! I was a fool, daring to have hope when the world has shown me countless times that it never ends well.

We're going to die.

Nagant hung her head, aiming her rifle and blasting a chunk out of an arm reaching for the Cartoonist.

All we can do is save each other an run for it...we can't stop this thing no matter how hard we try...

It's not as if someone is going to fall from the sky and turn the tides, that only happens in-

Something slammed into the Shoggoth's head from the sky, dealing a massive blow to it's cranium. Upon closer inspection...

It was Star Platinum.

Nagant's eyes widened as the Shoggoth let out an Earth-shattering roar, a dent in it's bleeding forehead. Jotaro Kujo landed in the ground with an intense expression, his Stand putting up it's fists.

The disgraced hero's gaze fell upon the recently arrived Joestar, and she began to smile.

"JoJo..."

With Izuku down as well, two Joestars show up to turn the tides! With Joseph teaming up with Santana for a rematch with Kars, and Jotaro emerging to deal with the Shoggoth, a glimmer of hope appears!

The real questions are...why is Jotaro there? Apparently he has history with Nagant?

What is Momo planning? What is going on over at the Barge?

The fight concludes next chapter...and the MHA half of this world will be changed forever.
