Marion Fiye was having a bad day. Her sister Viri was having another coughing fit, meaning she'd have to swing by the pharmacy again. The bills kept piling up, as her house was in danger of being foreclosed on. And she had sold a lot of the equipment from her father's old workshop, and was pretty much only down to the basics, but even those were in danger of being sold, along with the property. She loved making weapons with him, back in the day, and the various huntspeople that came in to the shop. Her own weapon was made here, and she took good care of it. Sorry dad, but ever since the cancer took you, business has dried up. Though a small part of her was telling her to grow up, as at 23 years, she should've learned to move on from a childhood memory.

For now though, things weren't ALL bad. Viri was sleeping, and had taken what meds she had. Which meant that Marion could get ready for work. It wasn't the easiest job, bartending for Junior's, but the Malachites were nice enough to her, though they could be cold, holdovers from when Junior's club catered to...less savory clientle. Luckily for her, she had gotten the job after that blonde chick had torn up the place, and Junior himself retired and left the club to the Malachite twins. Also luckily for her, she was blessed in the right places to bring in the customers.

After her shower, she spent time to brush teeth and put on makeup. Deep blue eyes stared back at her in the mirror, as she brushed back shoulder length red hair, making sure the few freckles she had were nice and visible. Her mom had been a country girl before she had met her dad, and had blessed her with good genes. But she had gotten her dad's talents. After all that, she got dressed, double checking that her D sized chest was propped up the right amount, and that she had the correct amount of lean over cleavage. She also packed her sword Eternity, and after checking for her scroll and keys, and double checking Viri to make sure she would be OK, left for work.

Business was fine at Junior's club. Her patrons consisted of the usual, whether it's businessmen after a long day, shop owners, or even a few of the older Beacon students. Many of her male customers gave plenty of tips, as well as scroll numbers. She politely accepted them, but always deleted them off her scroll. She didn't have the time, nor the energy, to date. Especially after what her ex did. The Malachites had split roles, Melanie was hosting, while Miltia was standing by the door, acting as the bouncer, not that she could intimidate enough for the role. We really need to get a bouncer, Marion thought, as she spotted a man in his thirties walk in. With some help with her Semblance Empathize, she could see that he was having issues at home, his wife threatening to take his child and leave him over some issue she couldn't identify. Not that it mattered, only that he was a potential customer. She tucked some hair behind her ear, pushed up her chest, and waved him over with a smile.

"Tired of the day?" She asked in her sultry, customer pleasing voice. "Home life getting you down, and now you just want the company of a young girl, to listen while you vent?" She asked. Granted, only the first part was really true. The latter she could influence with the second half of her Semblance, using various winks, hand gestures, and more, subtly manipulating him into doing what she wanted. And like most everyone she used her Semblance on, he obeyed, walking towards the bar while checking her out. Good boy. Listen to what your instincts want, she thought, thankful his mental resistance was that of most people. She had tried it on Melanie once to get a raise, but all she got was reprimanded.

"I have an idea about what exactly you need," she says as she mixes him a drink. "Something to make you feel like you're wanted, to feel desired," she purrs out as she hands him the drink, which he accepts, and Marion could sense his stress melting away as he sipped. That's it. She leaned forward, making sure he got a nice good view of her cleavage. "And you want someone to care for you. But in turn, you have to take care of them first," she continues to purr out, and he reaches for his wallet and pulls out some Lien, some for the drink, and others for a tip, which she in turn pockets. Got'em. Sucker. She thought, as he sat there, enjoying his drink.

A few hours later, and the customers were winding down, and it was time to close up shop. It had been a good evening, with plenty of customers. Not all were in the dumps, some just needed to vent, or work out some issue they were having. A few wanted her opinion, but she only gave the answer she thought would give the most tips. She had heard of the trope of the wise bartender, and she was tired of people assuming she was in that category. She counted her tips, and it seemed like it would be enough, at least for right now. Enough to get Viri's meds, groceries, and keep the realtor sharks away a little bit longer. She double checked the bar was clean, the booze secure, and the non-tip money was in the safe, and that she got her payment from the Malachites, which meant she could even treat herself in the morning. She said goodbye to the Malachites, as she headed out for the pharmacy, and then home.

On the way home from the pharmacy, in one of the alleys she took as a shortcut, she encountered the last person she wanted to meet, her ex-boyfriend Bross, and a few of his friends. Well, friends was stretching it, the truth was more akin to minions. "Going somewhere?" He asked, as said minions started to surround her.

"Fuck off Bross. You know you're not getting my dad's workshop," she said angrily, feeling all their greed, as she unsheathed Eternity, holding the blade up in a defensive stance. "It's why I broke up with you, and you can go right back where you came from, before I have to get nasty. What's the matter, the girl you cheated on me with is now cheating on you in turn?" She taunts, not that Marion could sense if she actually WAS cheating on him, not that she thought he'd care if she did.

"Oooh, already getting the claws out," Bross taunts back as he and his minions unsheathe their own weapons. "Maybe we should teach you a lesson about defying us."

"You wish," Marion responds, as she attacks, dodging as a sword almost hit her. With a flick of her wrist, Eternity extended into its whip of blades form, which she swung around as a shield to block a shot, and then whipping it around another henchman's leg, pulling him to the ground. Her Aura tok a hit as she wrapped up another of his minions, firing a shot from Eternity's hilt into him, before whipping him away. On and on she fought, defending blows from some minions with Eternity in sword mode, and attacking in whip mode, even getting Bross a few times, enough so his Aura went into the red, many of his minions passed out.

"You...bitch," he gasped out, as he doubled over. "Don't think this ends here," he says as he scampers away.

"Oh, it better end, and soon," she said out loud as she walked away, eager to get back home and check on Viri. Why is that fuckwad so insistent? She had thought once she got home, and gave Viri her meds, removing her work clothes. At least there was one thing that relieved stress for her, as she sat at her window, and looked out at the night sky. Hopefully, she could someday save up for that telescope she saw once, with the computerized aiming system to let her pick and choose what she looks at, and all eyepiece accessory kit. Oh, how the stars were the one thing she found solace in. If anything, she'd LOVE to go to space, there was just the issue of Dust not working out of the atmosphere. She sighed as she looked up, fully wishing she could explore the cosmos. While Remnant was cruel and unforgiving, the stars always seemed so...promising, so accepting, to her.

"You all aren't going anywhere, are you?" She says out loud, as if the stars could answer her, as she decided to relieve stress in a totally different way. Viri was too asleep to hear her, and her beloved stars wouldn't mind, as she rubbed her panties. Moans escaped her lips as she fully enjoyed her own hand, nipples hardening as she did so. It was unfortunate that she had only known Bross, and didn't have any other guys she could think of as she enjoyed herself. A few minutes later, and she orgasmed, not a great one, but good enough, to leave her satisfied enough to go to bed. I probably should get a vibrator, she thought as she drifted off to sleep, fully exhausted from the day's events.
