"I want a really vibrant and happy drawing to be revealed next, " said Lily brightly, "Therefore, I hereby make it Fred's turn to reveal his drawing."

Fred happily and eagerly flipped over his picture to reveal the most colorful and cheerful entry any of them had shown yet.

Fred's drawing didn't seem to depict anything in particular.

It featured colorful balloons in vivid shades of yellow. orange, white, lime green, sky blue, and hot pink. These balloons appeared to be floating towards the top of the picture. Meanwhile, confetti of all the same colors was raining down from top to bottom.

Adding to the sparkling color were a mix of white and hot pink polka dots scattered throughout the drawing.

There also various candies throughout the drawing: lollipops in bright green, orange, and yellow. Red, pink, yellow, and Starbursts. Skittles in every flavor you could imagine. And, fittingly, candy Easter eggs in pastel yellow, orange, blue, pink, and pale purple.

To top it all it off, fireworks in a mix of red, green, yellow, orange, blue, purple, hot pink, and white were exploding at the very top.

"This drawing isn't really meant to represent anything in particular, " confirmed Fred, "Although some elements of it will remind some people of The 4th of July or New Year's Eve. What I was shooting for was to produce a drawing that gave off a vibe or color and cheer."

."You succeeded!" chorused Roxanne, Ainsley and Lily in joyful voices at the exact same nanosecond.

Fred felt his insides fill with warmth.

"That means the world to me, " said Fred glowingly, "To have my little sister Roxanne, Ainsley, who is a huge fan of bright, vivid colorful stuff, and Lily, who organized all of our participation in the Hogwarts Drawing Competition, both give me their stamp of approval really tells me I did a good job on my drawing."

"The world could use more color and more cheer, especially in the difficult times we find ourselves living through, " said Ainsley matter of factly, "I'm really glad someone chose to go down the colorful and cheerful route."

"You know, " said Fred thoughtfully, "I figured that the majority of entrants in the Hogwarts Drawing Competition would aim for either scenic and picturesque type drawings or drawings that represented something personal to them. My idea was that turning in a drawing that went down the colorful and cheerful road might make my entry stand out from a lot of the others."

"Brilliant!" said Gordon with a smile.

"I'm pleased with and proud of my work. And yes, the world could do with more color and cheer. I'm really hoping that whatever happens with the medal selections that my drawing will be put on display."

"It will be, " said Lily confidently, "I don't see any way that the judges turn down the opportunity to dispute this kind of color and cheer."

"You sound confident, " Lily, said Fred brightly.

"I am, " said Lily fiercely, "And if some strange reason the judges don't select your drawing for display, I will personally make sure it goes displayed. If your drawing isn't selected for display, I will go to the judges and persuade them to include it. And if push comes to shove, I will hang it up myself when the time comes."

"You would do that for me?" said Fred weakly, "We've never been particularly close."

"You're still my cousin and I do still care for you, " said Lily fiercely, finishing by adding confidently, "That won't be necessary though. The judges WILL select your drawing for display. I know it."

"Thanks, Lily!" said Fred warmly.

Devon, James, Hugo. Albus, Miles, Todd, Gary, Fred, Gordon, Pamela, Rose, Roxanne, Rachel, Courtney, Stephanie, Samantha, Ainsley, and Lily all looked upon Fred's drawing and felt their hearts fill with warmth and joy. They could feel color and cheer within themselves. It was exactly the effect Fred was going for.

"Lily?" inquired Roxanne quietly, "Though in a different style, I too went the happy route. I'd like to go next."

"I like that idea, " responded Lily kindly.

Roxanne flipped over her drawing to reveal a theme of having fun.

Like her brother, Roxanne used bright and vivid colors. In Roxanne's case, she had drawn objects used for fun.

Roxanne's drawing included a glittering hot pink hula hoop in the exact middle. In the bottom row there was a sparkling silver skateboard with a pair of radiant orange roller skates to the right of the skateboard. In the upper right hand corner was a soaring sunny yellow kite. Towards the upper left was an electric blue bubble blower and a spring green bottle of bubbly stuff.

"THAT LOOKS FUN!" piped up Devon, James, Hugo. Albus, Miles, Todd, Gary, Fred, Gordon, Pamela, Rose, Roxanne, Rachel, Courtney, Stephanie, Samantha, Ainsley, and Lily all together.

Roxanne's face lit up. Her eyes glowed and her mouth split into a wide smile.

"I'm so glad you all like it!" said Roxanne in a gratified voice, "The imagery of having fun is exactly what I was aiming for."

Suddenly inspired, Lily said, "I know we don't have any plans tomorrow other than turning in our entries. And our whole circle is still going to be here tomorrow. Why don't we actually do some of the activities depicted in Roxanne's drawing tomorrow!?"

There eighteen eager cries of YES!" and Lily said happily, "That's settled then!"

There was a minute and a nanosecond of happy silence and then Lily spoke again.

"So, " said Lily cheerfully, "As of now, ten of us have shown off our drawings and eight of us are still left to go. I had planned a little break at the halfway, but after Fred went ninth, it was clear that Roxanne was eager to show her drawing, so I decided to do so without making her wait. I still need to show my drawing. Others yet to have their turn include James, Albus, Hugo, Rose, Pamela, Stephanie, and Samantha. Are those yet to have their turns okay with taking a short break?"

"Yes, " replied James, Albus, Hugo, Rose, Pamela l, Stephanie l, and Samantha.

"Thanks, " said Lily gratefully, "I have something for us all."

Lily reached under her seat and retrieved a white square box. Quickly lifting the lid off the box, eighteen creamsicles in individually wrapped clear wrappings appeared.

"Mom and dad sent me this box last night, " explained Lily, "They bought a twenty count box of creamsicles at the store and each ate one themselves. Dad then placed an Anti Melting Charm on the remaining eighteen creamsicles and sent them to me with a note telling me they were for me. Now, I could keep them all for myself. However, I am choosing to share them with you all. I will eat one creamsicle myself and dole out the other seventeen to the rest of you.

This announcement was met with no words, but instead with seventeen people smiling up at Lily.

Lily gave Devon the first creamsicle and spread the rest around to James, Hugo. Albus, Miles, Todd, Gary, Fred, Gordon, Pamela, Rose, Roxanne, Rachel, Courtney, Stephanie, Samantha, and Ainsley while keeping the last one for herself.

Devon, James, Hugo. Albus, Miles, Todd, Gary, Fred, Gordon, Pamela, Rose, Roxanne, Rachel, Courtney, Stephanie, Samantha, Ainsley, and Lily all unwrapped the creamsicles and Devon beat James by a mere nanosecond to have the first bite. Lily, meanwhile, wouldn't take her first bite until she saw that everybody else had taken at least one.

These creamsicles were of the utmost quality. The orange outer part was cold and had an intense orange flavor that complimented the smooth vanilla ice cream centers perfectly.

A happy and content silence filled the air as Devon, James, Hugo. Albus, Miles, Todd, Gary, Fred, Gordon, Pamela, Rose, Roxanne, Rachel, Courtney, Stephanie, Samantha, Ainsley, and Lily all slowly ate the creamsicles. They took their time with the consumption process so that they could savor every last bit of deliciousness the creamsicles provided.

When the creamsicles were finally eaten up, no words were spoken but Devon, James, Hugo. Albus, Miles, Todd, Gary, Fred, Gordon, Pamela, Rose, Roxanne, Rachel, Courtney, Stephanie, Samantha, and Ainsley just smiled at Lily again.
