She had woken a few hours after, locked into her cage once more. Her cheek burning from the punch she had received from Dr Kirkland.

She began going over the events in her head, what had happened in the session, what had happened to Ryan after what he did? Did the nurse survive? She hoped not, for the longest time she had been harbouring dark feelings for the people working at Borinwood. For what they allowed to happen, how they smiled and enjoyed what was happening to them.

She would be punished. Severely. She had seen the look in his eyes, Dr Kirkland's, before he had knocked her out. She had allowed herself to engage with Ryan, smiling at him, at what he did. He had seen that; he wouldn't like that.

She was brought out of her thoughts as the door to the office opened. Dr Kirkland entered the office once again, slamming the door behind him angrily. He gazed down at her, locking eyes before taking his seat at the desk. She could hear him, organizing his papers angrily, slamming down his stationary before letting out an exasperated sigh.

'It was not supposed to go like that. You were not supposed to act like that. You were supposed to be the exception!' he was shouting at her now, slamming his fists on his desk directly at her.

Charly was restricted in her small cage, she wanted to shrink back into the darkness of her corner, to disappear from the now tense office. She held back her fear, her whimpers, sobs. If she made any sound now it may tip him over the edge.

'Did you think I wouldn't know?! Do you know how many cameras are in that room!?' He had stood from his desk, pacing briefly before crossing the office to her cage. 'I reviewed the footage. I boasted about you, your progress, your lack of emotion! And yet, one group session and you assist that murderous psycho in killing another woman! That poor woman had a family.' The anger in his voice switched, attempting some sympathy at his last statement.

The nurse had passed away then, she couldn't feel any sympathy. She had seen what Ryan had seen, the smug look, the enjoyment on her face as she passed out each weapon for their torture. The statement she had resonated with more was 'killing another woman.' Ryan was a murderer, was it through his time in Borinwood or was it before? Had he been here his entire life as well? She had so many questions about the man she had now met. There was a pull towards him, an intrigue, it helped that he was handsome, the first person she had ever found attraction to during her life.

She had glazed over, losing herself into her thoughts, an ability she had mastered in her time at Borinwood. It made the torture bearable. Dr Kirkland was angry with her, shouting at her, shaking the cage surrounding her. His shouts echoed through the office, quietening as time went on before he had lost his steam, retiring for the day, locking the door behind him.

'Tomorrow would be a new day. Another session. She wondered what Ryan would do next.
