Later that night, Lily was sitting alone in her room when she heard a knock on her door.

"Who is it?" asked Lily.

"Samantha Saver," replied Samantha's voice, "May I please come in/"

"But of course, " answered Lily cheerfully, "I always have an open door policy."

Lily got up and let Samantha in.

"What's on your mind, Samantha?" inquired Lily.

"So," began Samantha, "As you know, as my fundraiser for Worthy Wands last year, I recorded and sold the record Samantha Saver's Secular Christmas."

"You're wanting to record and sell more records?" guessed Lily a nanosecond later.

"Right in one!" grinned Samantha, "What I've come to you for advice on is this: Would it be better for me to record a second Christmas album in which I write brand new secular Christmas songs of my own or would it be better for me to record a totally different kind of album. This album would contain a mix of summer themed songs and others that are silly fun that would be called Samantha Saver's Silly Summer. What I'm not sure about is this: Samantha Saver's Secular Christmas sold extremely well and even picked up sales after a few weeks on the market thanks to positive word of mouth. I'm unsure whether people specifically liked me as a Christmas singer or whether people would be interested in me branching out as a singer and doing something totally different."

"More than one thing can be true," piped up Lily clearly, "There's no need to limit yourself. Record your second Christmas album with entirely your own original Christmas songs and release it on December 1st and record your summer album with your original summer/silly songs on it in April and May and release it June 1st. Samantha, you have the singing talent, Do both! Reach for the unreachable star!"

"Thank you for the encouragement, Lily," smiled Samantha.

"Do you intend to keep the proceeds from these albums to yourself or donate them?" wondered Lily.

"Both, " said Samantha in a businesslike voice, "My intent is to keep a third of the profits for myself, to donate a third of the profits to Hogwarts, and to donate a third of the profits to The Ultimate University of Wizarding Healing."

That's wonderful Samantha, " said Lily proudly.

"It's a perfect three way opportunity," said Samantha eagerly, "I get to support The Ultimate University of Wizarding Healing where Rachel and Amy work and which Ainsley now attends as a student, support Hogwarts, and make some dough for myself all at the same time. It's a win win situation."

"You came to me because you wanted advice on which album would be better to make," said Lily matter of factly,

"I honestly don't know whether the general public will respond better to me singing my own original Christmas songs or my own original summer songs," said Samantha uncertainly.

"That's another good reason to do both," said Lily encouragingly, "Once you see what kind of responses both get, that can inform future decisions of yours if you choose to continue to record albums. And on that note, I'd encourage you to try your hand at several different types of albums before settling on a focus, And, you don't necessarily have to have a focus, you can release a wide variety of albums if you decide you like doing different things and the general public is reacting well to all or at least most of them."

"Do you like the idea of me creating my own songs as opposed to singing existing ones?" Samantha asked Lily.

"That doesn't matter, " said Lily clearly, "Do YOU like the idea?"

"It's EXACTLY what I want to do!" exclaimed Samantha.

"Go for it!" piped up Lily, "Reach for the unreachable star!"
