HELLO FANTASTICAL READERS! I PAY TRIBUTE FOR THIS HALLOWEEN!

MAY THE REST OF YOUR YEAR BE FILLED WITH MANY TREATS AND LITTLE TRICKS.

This story has made amazing progress and I want to thank you all for being a part of it. I hope this and my other stories bring you lots of joy as we exit the month of October!

Nemesis was moving through the underworld, hoping to smoke out the members of Shie Hassaikai, but since the incident at the arena, no one had come after Nemesis. But because of that one event, Sakura had enough information to start preparing for her next move. Hoping to draw out their leader, Kai Chisaki, and confront him directly. But thus far, he remained elusive, like a ghost hiding in the shadows.

From the rooftop of a nearby building, Sakura peered through her mask, her keen eyes scanning the streets below. The bustling crowd moved like a river, flowing seamlessly through the city's veins. Among them, she spotted a more traditional Japanese house, surrounded by high walls and a heavy gate. It was evident that this was more than just some dwelling; these were the base of operations for Shie Hassaikai. She knew this from what she had tortured out of his subordinate, and from where she stood, Sakura could see the coming and going of a few men.

She wanted to storm the base immediately yet, Sakura knew she couldn't afford to make any mistakes. The safety of Eri depended on her ability to dismantle Shie Hassaikai and erase the threat of Kai Chisaki once and for all. Her mind raced through different scenarios, considering ambush or lure and trap, but she couldn't make a move without confirming Kai's location. He had to either be inside that house or out where she could get him.

For now, she kept watch, observing every movement around the house. Men in suits roamed the premises, their vigilance a testament to the danger that lurked within.

But as she continued her surveillance, she couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration. Kai had yet to make an appearance, and the wait tested her patience. He seemed to move like a shadow, elusive and unpredictable. Those damn underground tunnels. Sakura considered the possibility of underground tunnels being used to navigate the city unnoticed, leaving her with limited options for a direct confrontation.

"I can't risk spooking him," she thought, her mind working through the intricacies of the situation.

In her heart, Sakura knew that the stakes were high. If Kai were to vanish, the threat to Eri's freedom would persist. And so, she took a deep breath, steeling herself for what lay ahead. She needed a plan, a way to draw him out without sending him further into the shadows.

As she pondered her next move, Sakura noticed a car leaving the house's premises. It was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. There was no guarantee that Kai would be in those tinted windows but she was willing to take the chance. Determination surged within her, and she made her decision. She would follow the car discreetly.

..

..

..

With careful steps, Sakura moved from rooftop to rooftop, keeping her distance from the vehicle. She couldn't risk being seen; her presence had to remain hidden until the moment was right. The car weaved through the labyrinthine streets of the city, taking her on a twisting path that seemed to lead to an unknown destination. Sakura's form moved like a shadow, tailing the car through the dimly lit streets of the city's outskirts. She knew that Kai might not be in the vehicle, but she hoped to find some clues about the Hassaikai's operations. As a clone, she had to be cautious; one hard hit could make her vanish, unlike a real body that could endure a few injuries. But vigilance was her strength, and she remained determined.

As she followed, Sakura's mind raced with possibilities. The anticipation of confronting Kai filled her. Eri's future depended on her success.

The car eventually pulled up to a seemingly inconspicuous area, a closed construction site near the outskirts with less traffic and fewer eyes, its facade blending seamlessly with the surrounding structures. Sakura's eyes narrowed, her instincts telling her that this might be the place she had been seeking. But she couldn't act hastily; she needed to be sure.

For a few more moments, she remained hidden behind some piled debris, observing the comings and goings around the area and the building.

The car eventually arrived at an old construction site, seeming empty and deserted. Sakura observed as three men stepped out of the vehicle, none of them being Kai. They were underlings, not the high-profile men she had learned about before.

Suddenly, another car pulled up, and five men emerged, including the four-armed villain she had previously encountered. It appeared he had acquired some new allies.

"Do you have it?" one of the Hassaikai members asked.

Sakura wondered if it was some sort of trade, and her suspicions were confirmed when the other man replied, "Right here." He held up a black suitcase.

"How many?" the Hassaikai member inquired.

"One bullet," the man responded.

Displeased with the answer, another member asked, "Only one for this price?"

The tension in the air thickened as the group negotiated. They were trading one of the quirk-erasing bullets made with Eri's blood. Sakura couldn't help but be furious that they were using that innocent girl's blood for such malevolent intentions. It was likely they didn't know how that bullet was made, but it didn't help to quell Sakura's anger. Even as a clone, she shared the emotions of the original.

"When are we gonna get the upgrade?" the heaviest member of the group inquired. "The one we were promised that gives permanent results?"

"When it's ready," the member holding the suitcase barked back.

All Sakura could gather from this was that Shie Hassaikai had been trying to grow in power by selling these quirk-canceling bullets, but they still hadn't made one that could remove quirks permanently. Eri was there for the main production, but she was only six, and it was hard for her to retain information when fear was riding through her heart. Even though Kai had consistently said, that she was an important part of his plan. She hadn't been able to fully grasp the construct as a whole. Only understanding that she would be subjected to more pain just so that Kai could get to her blood. After that, everything seemed irrelevant.

'There's nothing I can get from this,' Sakura clone contemplated if she should just swoop in and take care of these guys, but then what? She couldn't knock them down and leave them be or they might alert Kai that Nemesis was closing in. And she couldn't take them to the police. Her main instructions for now were the gather information.

'Those guys came from the hideout though…' Yes, she could ambush them now and get them to tell her more about the hideout.

Just as Sakura was about to jump into action, a massive shadow descended from above that caught everyone's attention. A dragon-like creature landed before the group, commanding attention and surprise.

"Hold it right there!" the dragon spoke with a voice that was more tender than its appearance. A woman no doubt. That was Rykyu, the Dragoon hero ranked number nine amongst the top heroes of Japan. It was hard not to hear news of heroes from the media, especially the top rankers like her, and she was one of the few females in the top ten and had a line of attention.

More heroes, Mirai Sasaki, aka Nighteye, and Ken Takagi, aka Rocklock, came down from the dragon hero's back. Sakura concluded they were here to apprehend the criminals involved in the drug deal. She didn't question how they might have learned about this trade happening but it put a damper on her plans.

Sakura enjoyed using surprise as a tactical advantage in combat, but she never liked it when the tables were turned on her. For now, it seemed she was going to have to watch this play out.

"Heroes!"

"Get them!"

"Hold it right there!" exclaimed Rocklock.

As the heroes jumped into action to face off against the criminals, the four-armed villain sprung in, he slammed his arms against the ground causing a powerful shock wave that sent Nighteye and Rocklock flying backward.

"You heroes are interrupting!" He went to attack Rocklock and Nighteye, but Ryukyu moved in front of them, catching two of the villain's four arms.

"Not so fast villain!"

It seemed they were evenly matched in terms of strength. The members of Shie Hassaikai and the other group were moving around, taking out guns to shoot down the two heroes. But although the heroes were outnumbered, Sakura quickly found that they were not outclassed. Moving quickly to avoid being hit, they were swiftly behind some of the debris lying about the construction site.

Nighteye threw something at one of the yakuza, a compressed weight he used as a weapon to knock him out.

"That's one," Sakura sucked in her lips and made a 'pop' sound. She was going to just sit back and watch this play out.

At least that was her ideal plan.

The villain that was in a stalemate with Ryukyu, one of his hands moved to his pocket and pulled out a syringe. He stabbed it into his side, and something drastic happened. In a matter of seconds, his form changed, it grew bulkier than before, his red skin deepened like it was angry, and his eyes became wild.

It was the apparent change in strength that did it though as he pushed back Ryukyu, taking the dragoon hero by surprise, and causing her to stumble. He then picked up a steel beam, swinging it menacingly towards the heroes. Hitting Rykuyu so hard she flew back into the building.

"Ryukyu!"

The villain laughed menacingly, swinging the beam again, "IT'S OVER HEROES!"

"Dammit!" Sakura cursed under her breath.

Without hesitation, she jumped in and caught the beam just in time, preventing Nighteye from being crushed. The heavy winds stopped immediately after Sakura caught the beam, her small arms wrapped around them.

"Who is that!?" Rocklock asked, astonished by her intervention.

"Nemesis," Nighteye said calmly, a tone Sakura found peculiar given his close brush with disaster. Why was he so calm, he didn't even attempt to move out of the way when he saw the beam coming towards him or at least flinch.

Nighteye reached out and touched her shoulder from behind instead of going for her mask as she assumed.

"Where is Overhaul's daughter?" Nighteye asked, his quirk activated, his eyes changing subtly.

"Think now's the best time for question and answers?" Sakura grunted, gripping the beam tightly as the four-armed villain tried to wrestle it from her grasp. Nighteye didn't release her for a while, and she couldn't see his eyes as his quirk worked.

Guns were aimed at Sakura, the pressure rising as they demanded answers for the new player on the field.

"Nemesis! Where is the kid!?"

"Tell us before we-"

Taking advantage of the situation, Sakura swung the beam with all her might, sending the four-armed villain flying. He crashed hard, knocked out by the force of the blow.

Sakura shook her wrist, then turned back to Nighteye, knocking his hand away. "You heroes can take care of the rest, right?"

Without waiting for a response, she took the chance to escape from the chaos, disappearing into the distance from the hero's sight. Since they had shown up, Kai would just pin the interrupted trade on them instead of her.

"That was a close call," Sakura murmured as she vanished.

..

..

..

The heroes quickly subdued the Shie Hassaikai members, and the other villains and secured the quirk-canceling drug. They called the police to arrest the criminals, charging them with drug dealing and assaulting heroes. However, Nighteye appeared more rigid and tense than usual after his encounter with Nemesis.

When the day began, Nighteye was seeing things looking up, as he finally found something pending the investigation into Hassaikai and Nemesis. Looking into the future, he saw that yakuza member handling a deal that would go wrong due to their presence as well as Nemesis, and when Nighteye's glance into the future stopped when he saw himself using Foresight on Nemesis, he concluded that this would help bring things together.

And he had expressed this to his hero colleagues, but now, even though they had Hassaikai members in custody that they could question for information Nighteye was distracted, and he was determined to wrap up the arrest and get back to the agency instead of pushing for an investigation.

"What's the matter, Nighteye?" Ryukyu asked, her concern evident in her dragon-like features.

Nighteye's mind was troubled by what he had seen when he used his foresight on Nemesis. He had hoped to glean information that would lead them to Eri, but the glimpse into the future had revealed something far more disturbing than he had anticipated.

"We need to call in more heroes, and I need to get in touch with U.A. immediately," Nighteye replied.

"Something happen Nighteye?" asked Rocklock.

Pushing up his glasses, Nighteye didn't look back at him when he answered, "Worse than I thought,"

..

..

..

Sakura's heart raced after her clone unraveled the jutsu and she retrieved her memories. It was an unexpected development, but she quickly dismissed any concerns that it might interfere with her plans. The heroes would get the credit for handling the drug deal, and Shie Hassaikai wouldn't suspect that Nemesis was closing in on them.

Deep in thought, Sakura held her chin, contemplating the situation. "The heroes seem to be looking into them too," she mused. But for Sakura, the only thing that mattered was reaching her end goal: taking down the yakuza group and freeing Eri from their menacing grasp. As long as they didn't get in the way of that, she was fine.

Just in case she would need to be more careful in case the heroes decide that Nemesis's appearance wasn't a coincidence. They knew that she had Eri…and when Sakura finally returned her to society, she wanted to make sure that Eri would be taken care of properly and not lost in some system the way she was intended to be when she first arrived.

'She might end up telling them that Nemesis is Sakura Haruno,'

In the cozy cabin, Eri was now running about after a butterfly, her laughter filling the air. Sakura watched her from the kitchen window. Since Eri recovered from her fever, she was in much better spirits and seemed eager to explore and play, even if it was just around the house.

"I wonder if she would like some play sets or something," Eri didn't seem familiar with toys, but Sakura wanted to get Eri a few items that could keep her entertained and moving around when she was on her own. She would also need to be familiar with these things when she finally interacted with other children.

Eri couldn't stay in the forest with Sakura forever, and the thought tugged at Sakura's heartstrings.

Her grip on the spoon tightened, almost cracking the wooden handle as determination surged through her. "When I finally take down Hassaikai..."

After taking a deep breath to steady herself, Sakura called out to Eri, "Eri, lunch is ready!"

Eri's eyes lit up, and she darted back inside the cabin, a brilliant smile on her face. As she settled down at the small dining table, Sakura placed a bowl of ramen in front of her. The aroma of the simple broth filled the air, and Eri wasted no time in savoring the meal.

"Is it good?"

Eri nodded vigorously, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "Mmm, it's yummy,"

Sakura couldn't help but chuckle softly. "I'm glad you like it."

At that moment, it felt like time had stopped for them to capture this perfect moment. In their quiet house in the forest, the sounds of the forest in the background sway them into a tranquil state.

As if it was bidding farewell.

..

..

..

With everything that had transpired, Sakura decided it was time for a change of scenery, a break from the shadows and tension that had been hovering over their lives. And what better way to bring a much-needed smile to Eri's face than a surprise trip to the heart of the city? This time, Sakura had something special planned, a place where she hoped Eri could forget her troubles and simply bask in joy.

After some research, Sakura's plan crystallized. She had found the perfect destination: Sanrio Puroland, a realm of enchantment nestled in Tokyo. It was a place where characters came alive, attractions promised laughter, and the scent of adventure hung in the air.

As they set off that morning, the excitement in the air was palpable. Eri's eyes sparkled with curiosity, unaware of the adventure that awaited her. Sakura led her to Shinjuku Station, their gateway to a world of wonder. The journey was part of the experience itself, as they embarked on a train adorned with the very characters that were waiting to greet them.

The train station was a kaleidoscope of color, a symphony of Sanrio characters that seemed to dance to their tune. Everywhere they looked, there was Hello Kitty, My Melody, and countless others, inviting them to step into a realm where imagination knew no bounds.

Sakura couldn't help but smile as Eri's amazement grew with every step. The station's vibrant décor extended from the walls to the very ticket machines, making even mundane tasks feel like a part of the magic. As they made their way to the Sanrio-themed train, Sakura felt a sense of warmth, knowing that this was a journey they were taking together.

The train ride itself felt like a chapter from a storybook. Eri's eyes lit up as they entered the car, surrounded by so many cute characters decorating as the theme. Even the other passengers seemed to be caught in the whimsy, the excitement of the journey binding everyone in a shared sense of enchantment.

As they disembarked at the destination station, Eri couldn't help but be awed by the atmosphere that enveloped them. The very air seemed to hum with joy and anticipation. And though they were still outside the gates of Sanrio Puroland, the enchantment had already begun.

Passing through the entrance, Eri's gaze darted from side to side, taking in the lively scene. Everywhere she looked, there were characters to meet, rides to experience, and delicious treats to savor.

"You ready to have some fun?"

"Uhhuh!"

Sakura felt an odd sensation when she stepped inside, hand in hand with Eri. It felt as if eyes had landed on them, but that should've been expected right? This place had good security and they were likely looking out for the visitors. There was nothing hostile in the gazes she felt that landed on them, even if it was one too many, When she looked over it seemed to be coming from the staff alone. Perhaps she was a bit over-sensitive after her encounter with the heroes and Eri's episode that brought about this turmoil.

Sakura looked at Eri who was already smiling at the sight of everything offered for a child to enjoy and make memories.

She didn't want to deprive her of that because of a feeling.

'I can handle anything that comes our way,'

..

..

..

Unknowbist to Sakura, there were more eyes on her than she could've realized. High in the security room, behind the screens surveying every corner of the area. The cameras followed Sakura and Eri as they made their way through the park.

"We've confirmed a visual sir,"

Kaoruko Awata also known as Bubble Girl spoke into the microphone, glancing at her partner Centipeder, Juzo Moashi, who was watching the monitors with the original security.

"Good," Nighteye watched from the ground floor as Sakura and Eri walked by, oblivious to his presence as he was well hidden within the suffocating confines of a cute bear costume. "Everyone remember the plan,"

KUNOICHI AMONGST HEROES CHAPTER 52

"It's okay, Eri. There are more exciting rides waiting for us."

"Um..."

Sakura examined the flyer, discovering that the ride was designed exclusively for kids. It resembled a cruise ship, that would carry them through a tunnel adorned with vivid projections and enchanting attractions.

"This could be fun, don't you think?" Sakura inquired, as she showed Eri the flyer.

Eri contemplated the offer. "Can I go?"

"Of course, Eri!"

..

..

..

Panic and fury surged within Sakura, and she stormed back to the employee, her voice trembling with fear and anger. "Where is my child?"

The terrified employee was spared from Sakura's wrath by a voice from behind her. "Sakura Haruno."

Startled, she turned around, her rage momentarily forgotten. There stood one of the mascots, dressed like a cat in overalls.

"I would like to have a word with you."

"You better be taking me to my kid, or you're going to be choking on your blood."

And that's something to look forward to in the future. If you want to catch up to the latest chapter's of ALL MY STORIES, the info is available on my TUMBLR BLOG.

HEIGHT'S ALLIANCE:

Sakura's heart raced as she ascended the high road hill leading to U.A Academy. The once-familiar surroundings had taken on an eerie, unsettling aura since her recent encounter with the nefarious villain, All For One. It had been months since she found herself in this otherworldly dimension, where heroes and quirks reigned supreme. Initially, she had managed to adapt and blend in, but All For One's assault had thrown her into turmoil.

With her chakra destabilized and her body feeling as though it were being consumed by an unknown force during that fateful battle, Sakura couldn't shake the feeling of being utterly out of her element. The encounter had made her identity alarmingly conspicuous, thrusting her into the public eye. News tabloids and television broadcasts were awash with headlines about her, alongside the shocking news of All Might's retirement.

As she reached the grand entrance of U.A, Sakura couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. The imposing building stood tall and proud, but the once-thriving hub of hero education had been transformed into a fortress, all in an effort to protect its students from the League of Villains. Though their most formidable member had been incarcerated, the League still posed a significant threat to the peace Sakura had grown accustomed to.

She had made a difficult decision to submit herself to U.A's new dorm system. Though she hadn't been particularly concerned for her own safety, her classmates were another matter.

Sakura took in the sight of her fellow students, filing into the campus grounds with a sense of uncertainty. The atmosphere was thick with tension and anticipation.

She overheard snippets of conversations among her classmates, their voices hushed yet filled with determination.

"I heard they're beefing up security even more," one student murmured, casting a wary glance at the school's walls.
