"Reflection Cave, nope! We are not going in there!" Ash said, eyes flashing blue and rapidly turning around to drag us away.

"Wait! What's going on?" I exclaimed very confused.

"Fen-fen!" Fennekin exclaimed, running after me as I was being pulled away by the arm by Ash.

"Viv-vivillon!" My Vivillon also fretted, fluttering around me.

Oh, yes! My Spewpa evolved! Bug-type pokemon matured quickly, just like Max had said. Her wings were of a stunning Meadow Pattern! Just like the one I've fallen in love with. It all happened when I took over the training of my pokemon, they were still being mentored by Charizard and Butterfree from time to time, but I am now pulling my weight as trainer. Which worked out! As I now have a Vivillon! Her wings were a masterpiece of nature's artistry! As I gaze upon my Vivillon's wings, a sense of wonder washes over me. I am reminded of the vastness and diversity of the natural world, and how Pokémon like Vivillon reflect that beauty in their very essence. I know it might be silly, but her wings inspire me to seek beauty in every aspect of life, to appreciate the fleeting moments of joy and to embrace the wonder that lies within the natural world.

"I do not know," Gary replied, from where he was dragging Clemont. Right behind him, Riley had Bonnie and Max, one in each arm, lifting them up and getting them away from the cave. His eyes were also blue. "But if two Aura Guardians are telling you to turn around, you better do it."

"Shouldn't we help or deal with whatever is in there?" Max protested.

"He is right! We have The Saint with us!" Bonnie pouted, looking more adorable than usual.

As ridiculous as the situation was, I still giggled when Max blushed, stealing glances at Bonnie.

"Ash would never risk any of you, he will send a team to deal with it later," Riley assured them. "Now, stay still, we have a Pokemon Summer Camp to attend!"

That's right, Professor Sycamore invited us all to the seaside Pokemon Summer Camp of his, it will be a week-long event and Max was excited because the Porfessor might have a clue as to where find the Key Stone he needs to Mega Evolve Gallade. Bonnie, Max, Clemont, and I were joining part of the event. Ash, Gary, and Riley were going to give some lessons and oversee that everything goes well. We were greeted by the camp's custodian, Madame Catherine, Professor Sycamore, and his assistant Sophie.

"I am so glad you've all made it!" Professor Sycamore beamed, eyes widening even more, if that was even possible, when he saw he Mega Stone Gallade was carrying. "Is that a galladite?"

"Yes! We got it from Mega Island!" Max told him proud of their achievement. "He used his psychic powers to sense its location!"

"It did? That's incredible!" Professor Sycamore got even more excited.

"Professor!" Sophie choughed.

"I'm sorry," Professor Sycamore laughed sheepishly. "Bonnie, Max, Clemont, and Serene you will be assigned to the Froakie cabin, therefore you will be Team Froakie. Ash, Riley, and Gary, you will be staying with us and the rest of the supervisors. Max, we will talk more about it later!"

"Yes!" Max agreed readily, eyes sparkling with excitement.

Tha cabin luckily was nice and we all rapidly picked our beds. It kind of reminded me of the summer I met Ash... and Gary. I really need to stop thinking about back then. I know nothing will ever happen out of my crush. Not that we stayed in the cabin for long. The moment Max noticed a Squirtle and Conkeldurr battling outside, he rushed out to watch them fight. I was quite impressed at Squirtle's mobility. The Squirtle's Trainer then showed off his "dance" methods of battling, much to the dismay of his opponent. Squirtle used his dance techniques to quickly dodge Conkeldurr's attacks, and soon defeated Conkeldurr with Skull Bash.

"I've never had had quite an unique battle," Conkeldurr's Trainer admitted.

"Well, that's my battling style!" Squirtle's Trainer remarked, with cheer and confidence.

"Hey! That was an impressive battle!" Max quickly approached Squirtle's Trainer. "I am Max and this is my partner Gallade! We are part of Team Froakie!"

"Thanks! A Gallade! Awesome! I am Tierno, from Santalune City and part of Team Squirtle!" The other trainer presented himself.

Though he froze when he laid eyes on me. I tensed confused at that, my confusion got even worse when he quickly ran off. I looked at my friends, who had the same confused expressions. Did I do something? My answer was rapidly answered when Tierno came back with a girl... a very pretty girl...

"You are right! That's her!" The girl exclaimed. "Hi! I'm Shauna, sorry for this! It's just that I saw your Pokevision video!" My eyes widened in surprise. Shauna showed us all my Pokevision video, much to my embarrassment, as we headed to the Pokemon Center so Tierno could heal his Squirtle. "Here's one of mine!" Shaune beamed, showing us one of her many videos, this one had a cute Bulbasaur. "Hey! Can you take out your Fennekin? She was so adorable in the video! I want to meet her!"

"Of course!" I smiled and released her.

"So cute!" Shauna took a quick liking to my starter. We all released our pokemon, so they could play together and eat some Poke Puffs I've prepared. But for some reason, Bulbasaur would not play with anyone or eat anything, until Shauna gave him a Poke Puff herself. "You see my pokemon is not very sociable, he only really interacts with me."

"I see," I smiled in understandment.

Suddenly, as the pokemon played, a hyper Charmander quickly joined in and ran around spouting flames in happiness, much to the surprise of many of the pokemon, while Chespin caught fire. However, Squirtle doused the flames. Soon, Charmander's Trainer joied us, slowly climbing up the stairs, tired from chasing down Charmander. He apologizd to Tierno and Shauna for being late. He then turned to us: "Sorry for the chaos caused by my Charmander, I am Trevor."

"It's fine! Don't worry!" Bonnie assured him, beaming.

We did not get to talk anymore, as the Summer Camp was brought to orientation. Professor Sycamore introduced us to the camp custodian, Madame Catherine, as well as the chefs, Riley, Gary, and, the one who caused the most commotion, Ash. Professor Sycamore explained that the Summer Camp was to teach Trainers to bond with their pokemon. Having Ash as a mentor for this camp will be perfect then, he is the best at that! Each team must compete together in a series of activities to win the most points, and the best team will be recorded in the Summer Camp Hall of Fame.

"Kalos Champion Diantha had participated in the Summer Camp when she was younger, and managed to place in the Hall of Fame," Madame Catherine added, making many trainers murmur in excitement.

"Summer Camps are an incredible experience!" Ash added with a beam, bringing everyone to a lull silence. I looked in awe at how Ash was capable of doing that by simply speaking, his charisma knows no bounds! "Many trainers believe that all you need to do is train your pokemon, win battles and badges to be the very best. It takes much more than that! It was time and dedication! It takes a bond with your pokemon, one forged not only by blood and sweat, but by laughter and joy as well. On every journey I've taken, in all the regions I've visited, I've always joined a Summer Camp. Be it as a participant or as a staff member lately. Bonding with your pokemon, becoming one with them is very important. That's how you raise to the top! So, let's work hard and have some fun everyone!"

"Yes!" The whole group, even us, shouted at the same time. The room was brimming with energy and excitement.

"Let's get started then!" Professor Sycamore exclaimed. "The first activity will be one-on-one battles, there will be no points gained, it will be so everyone can get to know each other."

"Battles! The best way to understand others and pokemon!" Ash agreed, burning with passion. "What are you waiting for? Let's get started!"

"Let's get to know each other better!" Shauna beamed at me.

"O-ok!" I blushed. "Fennekin I'm counting on you," I turned to my started who jumped foward and gave a threatening growl. "She must have learned that from Charizard, I really need to stop them from spending so much time together. He'll corrupt my cute Fennekin.

"Bulbasaur, use Energy Ball!" Shauna commanded.

"Fennekin, dodge and use Flamethrower!" I rapidly ordered, falling into position automatically. My eyes widened as Bulbasaur let a cry of pain and fainted in a one hit KO. "Maybe next time we hold back," I told my starter. "What in the name of Arceus is Charizard teaching you," I muttered to myself. I took a Potion from my bag and hesitantely offered it to Shauna. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't expecting it to be that strong."

"Wow! You are good!" Shaune praised me, accepting the Potion gratefully and using it on Bulbasaur. "Good boy, don't pout now. She did have type-advantage," Shauna kissed Bulbasaur's head and for a second I wished it was me. Wait... WHAT?! "You are strong! You must have a lot of experience!"

"Not really," I shrugged off the praise, it was mostly Ash and Charizard's coaching that got us this far... for now that is. "I am being mentored by... an Ace Ranger." I told her. I do not think that Ash would enjoy me telling other about his private life. He already has enough trouble because of his fame. "So, we trained a lot with them... but they always crush us." Fennekin's eyes lowered at the memory of our many losses.

"Against an Ace Ranger that's for sure!" Shauna laughed. "You are so cool! You want to challenge the gym circuit?" My face fell at her words, something she must have noticed as she quickly went to say. "If you do not want you that's fine! I was just... saying..."

"Sorry, it's just that... I do not know what I want to do," I answered honestly. "My mom pushed me all my life into Ryhorn Race Riding. I was never really interested on it, so I kind of ran away from home?"

"Wow! That must have been scary," she gently took my hands into hers. "You were very brave!"

"Thank you," I blushed, looking down in shyness. "But I don't feel it. I am traveling aimlessly, I have no objective or purpose..."

"You feel lost," Shauna said, making me look up in shock.

"Yeah... I feel lost," I admitted for the first time.

"You see, I aim to be a Pokemon Performer!" Shauna shared, eyes sparkling with excitement. "I think you could do that! Your video in Pokevision was so cute! And your pokemon will be very popular in Pokemon Performances!"

"Pokemon Performances?" I tilted my head confused.

"Yes, this!" Shauna rapidly showed me some clips. My eyes widened in awe... that looked so fun. To dance and be one with your pokemon under the sparkling lights... I would love to do that! "Fun, right?!"

"Yeah, that looks like fun!" I exclaimed, earning a soft smile from Shauna. "What?" I asked her shyly.

"There's a sparkle in your eyes, it's the first time I've seen it," Shauna shared. "It seems that it's the first time they've seen it too," she pointed at Fennekin and Vivillon, who were looking at me stunned. I felt shame at that moment, have I been worrying my pokemon like this? How can I call myself a trainer? "Would you like me to teach you more about them?"

"Yes! Please!" I rapidly agreed, I had to do better.

For the rest of the Summer Camp, Shauna and I stuck together to train into becoming Pokemon Performers, whenever we were not competing to make our teams win. At the end, Team Froakie won and we made it into the Hall of Fame, much to our delight! Still, that was not all we took from the Summer Camp. As Ash had said, we came out with a stronger bond with our pokemon and had so much fun. We had also made great friends with Team Squirtle! Max had gotten a Mega Bracelet with a Key Stone from Professor Sycamore for having lead our team into victory at the Pokemon Orienteering!

And me? I came out with a dream, with a porpuse! I was no longer lost! So watch out Kalos, because I will take you by storm!
