I know there was some confusion after the last update- I missed a chapter (10) and had to go back and pop it in, sorry about that!
1st July 1998.
"No Severus?" Blaise queried, helping Hermione repair the inside of Ravenclaw tower.
"No, he's with Andromeda," she pointed her wand, repairing a rip in the biggest tapestry, "It's going reasonably well. It helps that it's looking like Dora and Charlie are considering rekindling their relationship."
"He really adores that wizard," he muttered.
"Oh undoubtedly," Hermione agreed with a grin, "It's adorable. He's really going to miss him when he goes home."
"No chance of actually persuading the Minister we need a reserve here?" he checked.
"Honestly, I don't know.'' Hermione shrugged, "I've never considered it before. I have a meeting shortly to discuss the orphanage though so I'll ask."
"How's it going?"
"The orphanage? Reasonably well, We have a property now and it's almost set up which is a bonus. I'm meeting Kings to discuss the next steps for getting children actually into it."
He hummed, "If you need a hand…"
Arching a brow, she turned to look at him properly. "With?"
Shrugging awkwardly, he considered his answer, "Whatever you need. I hear Draco and Narcissa are helping."
"Yes. Narcissa designed all the rooms and is planning some fundraisers and Draco has been helping remodel. I don't think he enjoys it but well…it needs to be done."
"How are you surviving living with him?"
"He's not as bad as I expected," Hermione answered slowly. "He's still a bit of a prejudiced arsehole at times but we're working on it. He's managing to be civil even when he's uncomfortable so that's something."
Blaise hummed, "I heard the muggle-borns were all finally released."
Hermione shuddered, her face taking on a haunted look. "Yes," she agreed softly, "It should never have taken so bloody long. Most of them are in St Mungos."
"And after?"
"I don't know," she admitted, looking like it pained her. "Some of the elder ones should be able to go back to their jobs, but the Ministry will need to provide housing. I've spoken to a few about maybe helping me come up with a programme, both muggle and wizarding to try and break down barriers."
"Were they willing?"
"Some," Hermione shrugged, "some are…understandably angry."
He nodded, a jolt of panic shooting through him when he realised she was crying. "Fuck Granger…I ... .tell me what to do! Your fathers and brother will murder me if they come in here and see you in tears."
Hermione gave a wet-sounding laugh. "Some of them were only eleven when they were imprisoned." she whispered, "Who does that to children?"
"No one good," he sighed, deciding to risk it before wrapping her in a hug. Surprising him, she sunk into it.
"It was fucking awful," she whispered, "Children whose only experience of our world is that hellhole. Children who are now mainly orphans. I just…Christ." she hissed, struggling not to cry harder.
Murmuring soothing nonsense, he squeezed her tighter, feeling slightly ashamed that he had not thought to wonder what had happened to all those who had been caught by the registry. "We'll come up with a plan," he promised, "Show them that this world isn't just the horrors they've been shown."
"How?" she asked in a small voice he instantly hated.
"I don't know," he admitted. "But we'll figure it out. I told you…whatever you need."
She sighed, allowing him to hug her for a moment until an amused voice cleared his throat, "Well then…what's this"? Percy teased. "Are your fathers aware? I'm sure they said thirty."
Hermione groaned, "I used to think you were the sensible Weasley."
"Well in comparison to my siblings I am," he argued.
Hermione rolled her eyes, "Can we help you?"
"Nope," he replied cheerfully, although his eyes narrowed slightly, spotting the tears. "Although I am now going to insist on staying for proprieties sake." he lowered his voice comically, "There are beds here. Can't have you unchaperoned."
"I'm surrounded by idiots," Hermione muttered, making Blaise snort. "There are four other people in this room!"
"Come out to play on Saturday," Blaise cut in before Percy could voice his next thought. "I promise it'll be idiot free. Unless of course you're set on helping Weaslette experience her first cock."
Percy's face went through an interesting series of colours, "Excuse me?" he gasped, clutching his chest like a scandalised maiden.
Shoving Blaise's shoulder in exasperation, Hermione scoffed. "Severus couldn't remember how to say cocktail."
"Oh thank all the gods," Percy muttered, "Because honestly Gin's terrifying and I did not want to have that conversation."
"Which is a shame really," Hermione mused, "because it would have been highly entertaining."
"For you, maybe," he grumbled.
"Definitely for me," she agreed.
"So coming out to play?" Blaise pushed, mindful that the castle was nearly done and his access to her would dwindle quickly.
"Oh fine," she huffed, "I'll need to owl you though because I haven't a clue when Harry's taking Severus. I gather it's turned into a bit of an event."
"It's quite sweet how he's taken to him," Percy mused. "I'd never have believed it. Dean's joining them?"
"And Neville, Charlie, Remus and Sirius." Hermione nodded.
"Boys day out indeed."
"You should go." Hermione smiled impishly. "It's incredibly entertaining to see Harry pout every time Severus tells him how awesome Uncle Charlie is."
Percy laughed, "I might just do that." he agreed. "Get myself into second place in preparation for Charlie going back home."
"You'll be competing with Ron," she warned.
Percy's grin wouldn't have looked out of place on Fred and George. "I know Ronniekin's weaknesses."
"Sweet mother of Merlin," Hermione muttered, "I think I've created a monster.
5th July 1998
Severus' eyes narrowed on Hermione where she was standing in front of the mirror. "You going out with Auntie Ginny?"
"Ah no."
From the door, Draco snorted. "Mummys going out with a snake," he informed Severus with a grin. "Never thought I'd see the day Cousin."
"Arsehole," Hermine muttered under her breath, quietly enough that Severus didn't hear her.
"A snake mummy? A real one? Does it talk?"
Hermione blinked down at her son, "Uncle Draco was trying to be funny."
"Oh." he looked confused "So you're not going out with a talking snake?"
"No. I'm going out with Mr Zabini."
Several expressions flitted over Severus' face before he settled on unimpressed, "Grandpa says no boys." he informed her, crossing his arms, looking so like Sirius for a moment that it took her breath away.
"Oh for the love of Merlin," she muttered. "Grandpa can mind his own business."
"Grandpa's not very good at that," Remus informed them, poking his head around the door, "What's he done?"
"Mummy's going out with Mr Zabini, Grandad!" Severus tattled.
"Ah," Remus nodded, "Don't worry, Mr Zabini's coming to the house. We'll have a…chat."
"Remus!"
"Hermione?" he looked back at her with a look of exaggerated innocence.
"Please stop," she groaned in response.
He grinned, "Not a chance. If he can't cope with a teeny tiny interrogation from me he'll never survive this family."
"It's just one date!"
"That might lead to two…or three...or…"
"Alright. Enough!"
He grinned when Winky appeared, "There bes a man for the Mistress."
"I'll go Winky."
"Make him play nice," she begged, turning to Draco.
"Not a chance, Granger!" he grinned, hurrying after Remus.
"Malfoy," Blaise smiled warily, eyeing what he hoped was the more rational of Hermione's fathers. "Mr ah…Black?"
"Yes," Remus looked amused, "Mr Zabini. Do come in. Hermione isn't quite ready." Blaise shot Draco a panicked look. He smirked back.
"Where is it you're going today?" Remus asked lightly.
"I ah thought maybe the villa in Spain," he muttered knowing he wasn't getting out of this.
"Your villa?"
"Yes," he sighed.
"Why?"
"Because she gets mobbed wherever she goes?"
Remus seemed to pause, considering that, "That she does." he sighed. "And a chaperone?"
Blaise whined low in his throat making Draco laugh, "I don't think Severus is ready for siblings," he taunted.
"We can take Winky," Blaise sighed in defeat.
"Winky would be delighted," the elf informed him impishly having clearly been listening. "The Mistress bes being ready." she paused, "The Young Master is not."
Both Draco and Remus grimaced, "This will be interesting."
"Mummy, I come with you." They could hear a small voice pleading, "I get pogs another day."
"Severus, Uncle Charlie's going too, you don't want to miss that to spend time with me. He going home after today"
There was a pause where he clearly considered that, "You come with me and Uncle Charlie."
"Ah but there's no girls allowed." she reminded him teasingly, walking into the room.
He pouted, crossing his arms over his chest. The effect was unfortunately lessened by the fact he was perched on Hermione's hip until tiny malevolent eyes zeroed in on Blaise and his lip wobbled.
"Nope, no guilt trips for Mummy today," Harry walked in, taking in the scene before relieving Hermione of Severus. "Say goodbye young Mr. Grager-Black, Mr Zabini will return your mummy in one piece before bedtime."
"But…I want…"
"Severus Arcturus Granger-Black," Harry cut him off, he fell silent immediately at the uncharacteristic use of his full name, "Now, say goodbye to your Mummy and we'll go see make sure Uncle Dean remembers the football."
Severus pouted but seemed to decide arguing wasn't going to get him anywhere as he walked over to Hermione hugging her tightly, "Before bed?" he checked looking unsure.
"Before bed," she agreed, squeezing him back. "I'm sure you'll have a wonderful day with Uncle Harry."
He nodded but didn't look convinced. "Come on then," Harry held out his hand, let's go and chase up Uncle Dean."
"Shall we?" Blaise held out his arm, and with a last worried look at Severs, Hermione took it. "Hold on," he grinned before activating the portkey before she could object.
"You…utter arse, Zabini!" she gasped as she was unceremoniously deposited on the floor.
He grinned, holding out his hand to help her up. "I don't believe I said otherwise."
Rolling her eyes she clambered to her feet, "Where are we?"
"Spain," he shrugged, "I figured you'd want to be left in peace."
Hermione's eyebrows shot up, "Spain?"
"Yes. One of our villas," he shifted uncomfortably, "Wrong choice?"
Silently Hermione looked around the room, it was huge, lavishly decorated and had she not experienced Black Hall, she'd have felt entirely out of her depth. "No," she replied slowly.
"You don't sound sure."
They both jumped when a voice called out, "Blaise! Cachetes!"
Blaise looked horrified as Hermione turned to look at him pointedly. "My mother's here," he whispered with wide eyes. "Fuck."
Looking torn between apprehension and amusement, Hermione turned in the direction of the voice as the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen wandered in. The woman paused, her eyes raking over them both before she snorted. "Cachetes, you didn't warn me," she chided, kissing Blaise's cheeks.
"I thought you were meant to be in France," he muttered.
"Tomorrow, darling." she turned to Hermione, "And you must be the witch that has my son so out of sorts. His letters, darling you should read them. I've never seen him so unsure of himself. Do I get a name? You look…familiar."
Hermione's brows raised almost of their own volition, as Blaise whined "Mami,"
"Hermione Granger-Black." she offered, smiling slightly, "It's nice to meet you…"
"Oh call me Camilla darling, Merlin knows my surname is never the same for long. Now, Granger-Black…which Black do you belong to?"
"Sirius," she sighed.
Camilla's eyebrows rose, "Do you really? I hadn't heard he had a child."
"He adopted me. It's a slightly unusual situation."
"Ah, and how is your father?" she purred.
"Married," Hermione replied flatly. Blaise groaned as his mother let out an unrestrained laugh.
"Oh, I think I'm going to like you. You're far less…subtle than the other women in our sets.
"Probably something to do with my parents being muggles," Hermione muttered dryly.
"Muggles." the witch repeated with a frown, "Muggles…" her eyebrows shot up as she finally looked at Hermione properly, horrified understanding dawning on her face. "You're Hermione Granger."
"Ah yes." Hermione nodded, looking wary.
"Sweet mother of Circe," the witch breathed before turning to her son, "Hermione Granger!" she demanded, "You ask for my assistance and do not warn me that the witch that has you all off kilter is Hermione Granger!"
Blaise looked at his mother warily, "Ah…I…I wasn't aware I was meant to."
"Not meant to!" the witch hissed. "The girl helped that boy save the entirety of our world, Cachetes! No wonder she looked familiar! And you didn't see fit to warn me you were bringing her home! What must she think?"
"Mami," he pleaded, "Had I been aware you'd be here I'd have said something. As it is….I really thought you were in France."
His mother pursed her lips, "Well it is done now," she proclaimed, "Come and have tea."
With wide eyes, Hermione turned to Blaise who grimaced. "I really thought she was in France," he muttered petulantly, making Hermione smile slightly.
Tea was…awkward. While it was clear Blaise adored his mother, he was completely unsettled by her being there when he hadn't been expecting her.
"Now darling, what is it you're doing next?" Camilla turned to Hermione.
"NEWTs once the castle is finished, and I'm in the process of setting up an orphanage and attempting to help muggleborns assimilate."
The witch's eyebrows rose, "Busy witch."
Hermione shrugged awkwardly, "I have help. I never thought I'd say it but Narcissa has been a godsend and despite grumbling, Draco isn't against getting his hands dirty."
"Narcissa Malfoy?"
"Yes, as part of her community service, she's helping. It's…we're working it out."
"Of course, " Camilla murmured. "That is surprising." she turned to Blaise, "And are you helping?" she demanded.
He held up his hands in supplication, "I've offered!"
His mother arched an unimpressed brow. "But not followed through. Honestly, I raised you better than this!"
"Mother!" Blaise whined, a hint of colour on his cheeks. "Must you?"
A sudden impish grin spread over his mother's face, "Of course, I must. I get very little opportunity to embarrass you."
"Please stop," he begged pathetically, "Gods I thought Severus was bad, I didn't realise the person to make this as awkward as possible would be my own mother."
"Severus?" Camilla frowned, deepening it when Blaise seemed to freeze, belatedly realising that perhaps he'd been a bit too vague when asking his mother for advice.
"I ah…might have a three year old son," Hermone sighed.
Camilla froze, "How?" she breathed clearly horrified.
"Not in the traditional way," Hermione muttered, "I adopted him after the war."
"Ok." she appeared to be trying to remain calm, "And his birth parents?"
"Are long dead," Hermione sighed, "Professor Snape had a potions accident and managed to de-age himself. We decided, after a discussion and having read his research, to give him the life he should have had."
Camilla choked on her tea. "Severus Snape is your son?"
"Yes. although he's no longer Snape, obviously."
She stared at Hermione as if she'd never seen another human before. "How did you end up with him? I'd have thought…well honestly the only one more surprising would have been Harry Potter...or perhaps Sirius Black."
She grimaced, "Yes, well he chose me. He appeared in Minerva's office and decided he was staying with me. And…Harry has him today and he calls Sirius Grandpa."
"He does not!"
"Oh he does," Hermione laughed, "Sirius is still horrified by it."
"Well, darling," she murmured faintly looking at Blaise, "Your life will never be dull."
"I'm sorry!" Blaise whispered frantically as he took Hermione on a tour, "I really didn't know she'd be here."
"Yes I gathered that," Hermione agreed, trying to hide her amusement. Tea had continued along a similar vein with Camilla interrogating her gently and embarrassing Blaise. Unfortunately, Hermione realised that she quite liked the witch and she hadn't protested her teasing.
He sighed, "It might have actually been less awkward in Diagon Alley."
Hermione snorted, "But not half as entertaining. Although I do have to ask, cachetes? My Spanish is nonexistent."
"Cheeks," he muttered, flushing. "Apparently I was a chubby baby."
"That is adorable."
He sighed, "Yes, yes. It's delightful when all the crazy old ladies pinch your cheeks."
Hermione tried and failed not to laugh. "I used to think you were nice."
"It's been two months, surely you've realised that I'm not by now." she retorted.
"I know," he sighed dramatically, "It's really inconvenient that I like you anyway."
"Poor you," she replied insincerely.
"This is where you tell me you like me too," he prompted, making her laugh.
"Perhaps a little," she agreed, rolling her eyes at Winky's smirk from behind them.
"I'll take that, now…tell me how the fuck I win over your kid?"
"Mummy!" Severus squealed, hearing the floo, barreling into her legs.
She picked him up, squeezing him tightly, breathing in the scent of freshly bathed toddler. "Did you have a good day?"
"Yes! We played football and I won and I got pogs and beat Uncle Ron and we went to see Uncle Fred and Uncle George and they gave me a bag and." he paused, "I wasn't meant to tell you that." Then he shrugged, "And we went for ice cream and it was a huge Mummy but Uncle Charlies was bigger and I met…I met…Seamus? Uncle Neville says you know him. And Uncle Charlie took me on a broom and Uncle Harry bought me one of my very, very own!"
Hermione's eyes swivelled to Harry who gulped, "Well…the one Charlie let him borrow was old, My. This one has far more safety features."
Her eyes narrowed before turning back to her son who was still talking, "...and we got new dinosaurs and Grandpa bought lego and Uncle Charlie got me some books on dragons! And Uncle Dean got me a new dinosaur toy, it's over there. And Uncle Neville got me a book on dinosaurs and he said I had to teach him about them because he didn't know anything."
Harry summoned the dinosaur silently, handing the cuddly toy to his nephew who was interspersing his words with yawns.
"It sounds like you've had a very busy day," Hermione murmured, cuddling him close as he settled his head on her shoulder.
"Yes," he yawned, "You read me a dragon book?"
"Of course,"
Blaise watched as she settled onto the sofa, Severus curled on her knee. It took three pages before he was asleep.
"A broom, Harry?"
"Really Mya, its safety features are much better! And we both know the kids a natural flyer."
She scowled as Draco sauntered into the room, "Zabini, I see you returned my cousin in one piece. Good date?"
"I met Camilla,'' Hermione smiled impishly as Draco's jaw dropped.
"You did not!"
"Oh I did. She's…delightful."
Blaise groaned, "Must you?"
"Camilla?" Harry prompted.
"Blaise's mother. She was…well truthfully she's like a more refined female version of Sirius."
"Sounds like someone I need to know, Kitten, who's this? Zabini." he nodded, "It's traditional to return the witch to the door and leave.
"Pads!"
"Kitten?" he smiled winningly, "Who's this woman? I told you, for the right one we would consider a new mum."
"Minvera will be devastated she's been replaced so quickly," she replied drily.
"Ever feel like you've missed half a conversion?" Harry asked.
"Trust me you don't want to know, it was traumatising."
"The woman, Kitten?"
"Blaises mother, Camilla."
Sirius' eyebrows rose, seeming to study Blaise's face "Camilla Selwyn?"
"Yes, I got the impression she knew you."
"Oh, she did. A few years older than me of course but I always did like an older woman."
"For the love of Merlin," Hermione muttered.
"You're embarrassing the children," Remus scolded.
"I know, it's one of the perks," Sirius shrugged, "And you remember Camilla Selwyn, don't you?"
"Merlin yes," Remus sighed a dreamy look taking over his face
"No!" Harry Hermione and Blaise yelped at the same time. Draco cackled in the corner.
6th July 1998
Hermione tried to hide how awkward she felt. She had promised to see Charlie off, Severus wouldn't have accepted anything else but she didn't want to be here. Molly kept shooting her disapproving looks and the warmth of the Burrow now felt stifling and uncomfortable.
"Mummy," Severus' small heartbroken voice interrupted her musings.
"Yes sweetheart?"
His bottom lip wobbled and the tears that had been threatening since he had learned that Charlie had to go home overflowed, "Oh Severus," she murmured, scooping him up into her arms as he sobbed. "Uncle Charlie won't be gone forever sweetheart." she soothed as she rocked him.
"That's right," Charlie agreed looking at him sadly before taking him from Hermione, forcing the boy to look at him, "I'll be back before you know it, I cant let the best future Dragon Tamers training slip now, can I?"
Severus bit his bottom lip before he shook his head. "Exactly," Charlie nodded, "I just need to nip home to make sure the dragons are ready for you coming. Mummy told you you were coming to visit me, didn't she? Can't have them looking anything other than their best now can I?"
Severus giggled, shaking his head again, "Got to shine their scales and exercise their wings," he recited softly.
"Of course I do!" Charlie agreed, pulling the boy close. Beside them Tonks was watching the scene with something undefinable on her face.
"He's really going to miss him isn't he?" she murmured.
"I imagine so are you." Hermione countered.
Tonks snorted, "Yes." she agreed, "However I gather that boy of yours has a plan?"
Hermione rolled her eyes, "I actually think if Kings says no, he'll work out where his office is and berate him until he says yes," Hermione laughed.
Looking slightly less forlorn, Tonks joined her before musing quietly, "I didn't think I wanted kids."
Hermione paused, "Oh?"
"Who knew the person to change my mind would be Professor Snape"
Hermione rolled her eyes, nudging her, "Don't be absurd, can you imagine Professor Snape discussing children with you?"
Tonks grinned, "Perhaps not. But this version of him. He's beyond sweet, you've done an amazing job with him."
Hermione shook her head, keeping half an ear on Charlie's conversation with Severus. "That's all him," she admitted. "I've maybe helped with the manners and some semblance of politeness, but that curious, sweet little boy, that's all him."
"Wow." Tonks muttered, watching them with renewed interest. "How badly do you think he'd take Charlie with another kid?"
Hermione groaned, "Ron in fourth year level tantrum." she replied promptly, making the other witch snort. Hermione paused, deciding whether it was appropriate to voice what she was thinking.
"Spit it out,"
"If you have kids with Charlie, please don't cut him out," she whispered.
Tonks turned to look at her properly, "Charlie and I aren't even Charlie and I," she admitted, "Its…we're skirting around it until we see what the distance does but…Gods little witch, you cannot believe that he'd ever allow Severus to be cut out. That adoration is mutual."
"I know," Hermione admitted "But…I'm told babies change things. And…he was let down by everyone before, and I dont…I think losing Charlie would devastate him."
Tonks hummed, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "I promise," she whispered. "Now shall we get dinner over and pretend Molly isn't glaring at us both?"
With a laugh, Hermione followed her to the table, Charlie and Severus joining them moments later.
Seated around the Burrow table almost felt like old times, across from her Harry was teasing Ginny, Ron butting in every now and then. Fred and George let off various pranks throughout dinner, including an indoor firework display that had Molly fizzing but delighted Charlie, Percy even managed to join in, startling his brothers when he showed he did indeed have a sense of humour. And it would have been perfect if not for the tension she felt every time Molly glared at her.
"Mummy?" Severus whispered, tugging her sleeve.
"Yes, Imp?"
"Mummy, why's that lady cross?"
Hermione's eyes widened, hoping Molly hadn't heard him although Charlie's choked laugh indicated he had. "That's Uncle Charlie's mummy, remember?" she murmured, "She's just sad he's leaving."
Severus frowned, eyeing Molly, "She doesn't look sad. She looks never look that cross, Mummy."
Hermione bit back a groan as Mollys scowl deepened. "I'd have expected him to have better manners, Hermione." she voiced archly, making Hermione bristle, "Although given your own lack of regard for others, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised."
Hermione took a moment, placing her cutlery down carefully as she attempted to work out what to say to that. She didn't want to ruin Charlie's night, he was leaving after dinner after all but she wasn't sure she could pretend Molly hadn't spoken.
"Severus is three," she commented mildly, "And I wouldn't say he was particularly rude."
"You need to let this go, Mum," Ron sighed. "Charlies leaving in an hour, is this really what you want to do?"
Molly puffed up indignantly, "I'm not the one doing anything!"
"You know you are Mum," Charlie cut her off abruptly, startling Severus who had never heard him sound so angry, "So stop it. I invited Hermione and Severus and you promised to be civil. You know fine well I said I'd have this elsewhere if you couldn't."
Molly huffed, but Arthur put his hand on her arm. "Enough," he commanded softly. "Let's have dinner in peace." And then he turned to Severus. "Your Uncle Charlie tells me you're going to be joining him on a reserve, soon enough?"
Severus' face lit up, "Yes!" he agreed, "I'm going to be just like Uncle Charlie!"
Arthur gave him an indulgent smile, allowing everyone to relax as he drew Severus into a conversation that made the rest of them laugh, the tension dissipating the longer the meal went on, even as Molly continued to glower.
"Right then little man. Give your Uncle Charlie a hug before he goes and then I've got to go and say goodbye to my girl and my mum."
"Your girl?" Severus asked innocently, wrapping his arms tightly around Charlie's leg, squealing when he lifted him into the air and threw him up.
Charlie nodded his head at Tonks, "That's my girl there." he informed him.
"Oh." Severus replied clearly not understanding.
"It's fine, any girl…or boy you bring home is going to have to get past your Mummy and if she has her way you'll be older than Uncle Charlie, so you don't need to worry about it yet."
Severus eyed Hermione warily as Charlie laughed, "Why'd Mummy stop them?"
"Ah because you're her little boy and I'm told Mummies never stop seeing their babies as babies."
"I'm not a baby!" Severus replied indignantly.
"Of course you're not," Charlie agreed, "But Mummies are strange that way." he lowered his voice to a whisper, "My Mum still thinks I'm a baby too!"
Severus giggled, "That's silly Uncle Charlie!"
"I know," he agreed solemnly, before squeezing Severus tightly, "Right, I'll expect owls regularly."
"Yes Uncle Charlie," Severus agreed, his lip wobbling again when he realised that he was really going to go.
"And lots of pictures like the one you gave me for my wall." Severus nodded again. "Good lad. Now go and give your mum a hug from me, I think she might just miss me."
Hermione rolled her eyes but took Severus back, squeezing him tightly as Charlie said his goodbyes to everyone else before disappearing with the glow of his portkey.
