A/N: Good morning everybody and welcome back! We've got another chapter here for you today and it involves the gang getting into their first big battle on Earth. Along with that, though, it also involves introducing the team to the public as well! That said, let's not waste any more time and get into it shall we? This is…

Chapter 2: Homecoming Battle

…..

The backyard of the Tennyson residence was abuzz with activity, the large group of young heroes and their parents all conversing with one another avidly. Thankfully, the barbeque HADN'T been burned, so the gang were treated to a very hearty meal of burgers and hot dogs. …Though in Sandra's case, she had relegated herself to vegie burgers and tofu dogs she had cooked up herself. "I know this probably isn't NEW news, but you would not believe what saturated fats can do to your body." the blonde woman said as she sat at a table with Carl, Ben, Tai, Raven and Yang, the two families getting to know one another.

"Uh… yeah." Raven said skeptically as she raised a brow to her burger. "Not to try and argue with you, Sandra, but there ARE some essential things that meat does for the body."

"Oh, I know." Sandra assured. "I simply get my protein and B12 from other sources."

Ben glanced over to Raven with an amused smirk. "Raven, trust me, you aren't gonna convert my mom into a carnivore anytime soon. Dad and I have been trying and failing for years."

Raven gave a shrug before returning to her own meal. "Ah well, I suppose she'll never get to experience how I cook wild boar, then."

"Which I am STILL surprised you know how to cook." Yang commented before turning to Carl. "So, Carl… Ben tells me you have a nerd cave in your basement."

Carl stifled a laugh and brought a hand to his mouth, making sure he kept it closed so he could swallow his food. "Haha! Oh god, that's a good one, Yang. Wasn't expecting that." He straightened himself out before going on. "But yes, I have a "nerd cave" downstairs where I keep a collection of all the different action figures that my brother and I collected over the course of our childhood."

"AND his adulthood." Sandra said with a wry grin. "He's lucky that his job pays so well."

The Tennyson man was unperturbed by this and simply leaned over to his wife with a loving gaze. "Well, I'm also lucky to have a wife who is understanding of my hobby." The two shared a brief kiss before Carl went to Ben. "Speaking of which, Ben, did you bring back those figures I sent in your little care package?"

Ben gave a thumbs up. "Oh yeah, they're all in the Rustbucket and waiting to be put downstairs."

"Great… because I just got ANOTHER shipment yesterday."

The hero's eyes widened immediately. "Damn, already?!"

Carl nodded. "Yep, and this one's BIG." He craned his head back over to the Xiao Long family. "Remind me to give you guys a grand tour later on, we'll make a thing out of it."

"Heh, that sounds great, Carl." Tai chuckled. "Thank you." He paused briefly as his gaze shifted between Carl, Sandra and Raven awkwardly, clearing his throat as he brought up a certain subject they had discussed a few moments prior. "So, uh… I think it's as good a time as any for Raven and I to bring up our… rather complex history." Sandra and Carl's eyes snapped up immediately while Ben and Yang shared a worried gaze, with Raven doing the same with Tai.

"Um… y-yes, now definitely seems appropriate." Raven agreed. "So you two may want to brace yourselves for this…" With that, the Raven and Tai told Sandra and Carl about everything, from how they had met, to their brief relationship which resulted in Yang, to Raven leaving abruptly for the Branwen Tribe and Tai marrying Summer Rose which resulted in Ruby, to Summer's eventual death and Tai having to raise both Yang and Ruby on his own. Finally, they recapped the most recent events, with Raven leaving the Branwen Tribe and realizing just how important her family meant to her after years of being apart from them, as well as their recent rekindling of their relationship and the healing between herself and Yang. Both Raven and Tai let out a sigh as they finished. "And… that's pretty much the whole story."

Tai rubbed the back of his head. "I know it's a lot to take in… and not exactly what you would call a GOOD story, but… it's the truth."

Sandra and Carl stared at the duo with widened eyes, the former resting a hand to her forehead. "Well, you'd be right on both accounts. This is all quite… a lot."

"Yeah, and I thought OUR lives had gotten crazy after Ben's secret went public." Carl said out loud, to which Sandra gave him a light nudge in the side. "Oof! Okay, yeah, I deserved that. Sorry about that."

But Raven was quick to wave a hand. "Oh no, no need to apologize." She and Tai shared another awkward face. "We're both… WELL aware of how complicated our relationship is at the moment and we're working on straightening things out so that it isn't…" Raven trailed off as she blushed a little. "Of course we… haven't gone TOO far with things yet, but it's baby steps."

"Oh, I see." Sandra said with an awkward face, the woman scrunching her shoulders up as she winced. "…Then I suppose this would be a bad time to mention that we set you up with a queen-sized bed?"

Raven and Tai's eyes both widened substantially while Yang snickered to herself. Seeing her parents like this was both totally funny and MASSIVELY cute, so she was going to take advantage of this. "Hehe, oh I'm sure they won't mind as ALL, Sandra." She sent a wink over to the couple next to her. "Besides, dad's only here for a week, anyway, so no harm, right?"

"Uh… y-yes, of course!" Tai stammered. "No trouble at all."

"W-We'll be fine." Raven added. "I-I mean, it's not like we HAVEN'T shared a bed before. …Though granted, it's been eighteen years, b-but we'll be able to adapt."

Sandra and Carl glanced toward each other, the blonde woman with a small, knowing smile on her face while her husband wore a more unsure expression. "Well… if you say so." Carl nodded. "But if you guys need anything changed at all, feel free to tell us." He then gave Yang a small smile as well. "Which reminds me, I hope you don't mind, Yang, but we've set your team's room up with bunk beds, so—"

"I'm sorry, BUNK BEDS?!" Everyone's heads snapped over to see Ruby having rushed right over to the table, the girl's silver eyes glistening with glee. "EEEEE! That is so AWESOME! It'll be JUST like back at Beacon!" She whirled around and called out to her teammates; "WEISS! BLAKE! We've all got BUNK BEDS again!" Ruby received a cheer from both of them from across the lawn before turning to hug Yang. "Hehehe! This is gonna be so AWESOME!"

Yang chuckled a little bit as she hugged Ruby back. "Hehe… yeah, it's really great, sis." In truth, though, Yang was still a little unsure about it. She DID like the sound of them all having bunk beds again… but last night had been one of the best sleeps she had gotten in a long time. And why was that? Because she had slept in the same bed with the love of her life for the first time. Yang moved her eyes up to Ben, thinking back on how good she felt in his arms while underneath the covers, their bodies practically fitting together perfectly.

'Damn it… how am I gonna explain this all to the girls… AND Sandra?'

…..

Weiss couldn't help but smile as her partner practically freaked out at the thought of having bunk beds again. It was a total Ruby thing to do, but even then, she couldn't help but be happy along with her. At the table she was sitting at, Frank, Natalie, Gwen, Kenny and Winter also were gazing over in the Hooded Huntress' direction, the elder Tennyson brother letting out a chuckle. "Hehe, well, Ruby certainly seems excited. Then again, when Carl and I had bunk beds, we were also pretty excitable too, so I guess that might NOT be a surprise."

"Ruby might be easy to please, but her being happy is pretty much infectious." Weiss grinned.

Natalie smiled at that. "Well, I can certainly see why she's the leader of your team, then." She then directed her sights over to Team JNPR, who were conversing over at a different table. "I'm sorry, kids, but I'm afraid that bunk beds weren't exactly on the table when it came to your sleeping arrangements at our place."

Jaune, however, was quick to give her a wave. "Ah, that's okay, Mrs. Tennyson. Bunk beds were really more Team RWBY's thing exclusively." He rubbed the back of his head. "Though to be perfectly honest, I'm still really surprised that you allowed our whole team to share the same room. I honestly thought you'd split us up."

Natalie wore a sheepish grin. "Well… once Gwen told me that that Beacon had co-ed rooms and that you four had been sharing one for nearly a year, I had a feeling that you four were responsible enough to keep things in control." she explained. "…That and the amount of guest space I have in my home is very limited."

"Oh, don't worry, Mrs. Tennyson." Pyrrha assured. "I think you will find that our team is VERY responsible…" At the sound of a small giggle, though, Pyrrha and the others glanced off to the side… only to see Nora trying to make Ren laugh by using a hot dog bun as a hand puppet. Ren was facepalming, but also trying to hold himself together as the Pink Dynamo performed some bad stand-up comedy with the "puppet", which made Jaune and Pyrrha both deadpan. "Well… for the most part, anyway."

Natalie sighed, though she couldn't help but crack a small smile. "Oh, I'm sure having Nora in the house will make things VERY interesting…" Her attention went back to Winter, who had forgone a burger bun in exchanged for cutting her burger up into pieces. "So Winter, tell me, what are things in the Atlesian Military like?"

Winter moved her head up and cleared her throat. "Ahem, oh, well… things are very strict, I can tell you that. General Ironwood makes sure to keep a tight operation." She put a finger to her chin in thought. "Although, Ironwood himself HAS been somewhat less strict over the past few weeks."

"Not to brag, but I think we can chalk that up to us arriving when we did." Gwen interjected. "I mean, for one, we helped lessen the impact of the Battle for Beacon. Sure, there was still a lot of damage and many lives were lost before our arrival, but since we came to Remnant, we've basically been working to counter Salem at every corner."

Weiss gave her a nod. "Yeah, that's very true…" A small grin of her own came to her lips. "But… we also shouldn't forget that Ironwood and Professor Goodwitch have been spending a LOT of time together as well…"

Gwen returned the grin with gusto. "Oh, yeah, I definitely have a good feeling about those two."

"I do as well." Winter agreed. "I think it will do General Ironwood some good to have a bit of… mystery in his life."

"I like to think that's the case with most human beings." Natalie concurred with a wry grin. "Speaking of which…" Her focus shifted to her son, who's eyes widened almost immediately. "Ken, you've been awfully quiet over there…"

Ken gave his mother a deadpan face as well. "Gee, why do you think, mom?"

"Oh, please son, don't mind us." Frank waved. "We won't intrude on any conversations you wanna strike up. Just pretend that we aren't even here."

At this point, Winter had joined in with Ken on giving the two parents irritated faces, to which they turned to each other. "You wanna take this back to the kitchen?" Ken asked.

"Yes please." Winter agreed as she and the young man stood up with their plates.

Wiess, Gwen, and even Natalie pouted slightly. "Aw, you two are REALLY no fun." the former heiress whined.

"I believe the phrase is "deal with it", dear sister." Winter said before she and Ken went back into the house.

Natalie stopped her fake pout and stared at the two in surprise as they left. "My, Winter can be quite… sassy when she wants to be."

At that point, Rex entered the conversation, sitting down next to Weiss with a place of two hot dogs. "Ah, no puedes apresurar el amor, Mrs. T." Rex said before taking a bite from one of his hot dogs. "Trust me, take if from a dude who watches WAY more telenovelas than he probably should."

However, Natalie could only raise a brow. "I-I'm terribly sorry, Rex, but I don't speak Spanish."

"He said "you can't rush love", basically." Weiss answered with a shrug. "And in a way, I guess he's right. It took him and I a whole week before we admitted that we liked each other, after all. Everyone goes at their own pace, so we should probably just be patient…" She then elbowed Rex in the ribs, making his eyes bug out. "Also, don't speak with your mouth full, dear. It's unbecoming."

"Yes ma'am." Rex said after swallowing.

Kevin then came over with a burger of his own and let out a laugh. "HA! Knew it wouldn't be long before we saw something like THAT happen." the Osmosian smirked. "Better clean up your act, dude. Remember that you're dating Miss Refinement over there. Bet she still raises her pinky when she takes a drink—oof!" Kevin received an elbow from his own girlfriend at that.

Weiss scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Whatever, Levin. I'm FAR from an heiress anymore, remember. Besides, it's proper etiquette not to talk with your mouthful. Stuff like the pinky thing doesn't matter here." Weiss then went to take a drink, but as she was doing so, she received a bunch of smirks from everyone around her. It was only when she saw Kevin holding up his pinky did she realize… that she had her pinky extended. Weiss grimaced, snapped her pinky down to the glass and then set it on the table, crossing her arms while facing away. "This proves NOTHING."

The whole table erupted with laughter as Rex pulled Weiss into a hug, the EVO reassuring her quickly. "Haha! Oh god, Weiss, relax. We're just ribbing you a bit. Trust me, you're good."

"Hmph, I certainly hope so." Weiss said with a small smile.

At that moment, it was Max's turn to come over, the old man chuckling at the scene himself. "Haha, you know, it's moments like these that you appreciate most." He gestured over to a nearby tree, where Team SN, Blake, Penny and Ilia had all congregated to eat their own lunches. "Everyone here's happy and having a good time, and it's a relatively peaceful afternoon, all things considered."

HONK-HONK! Everyone's eyes widened at the sound of a loud horn coming from out front, with Evelyn piping up; "Hm? Is someone here?"

"I wasn't expecting anymore company." Sandra said curiously.

Ben, however, wore a deadpan expression and let out a sigh. "Alright guys, lunch is put on hold for a while. Grandpa Max just incurred the universe." He stood up along with Yang and Ruby, the duo headed toward the backdoor. "C'mon, let's see who's out front…."

The whole team began murmuring to themselves as they followed their leader, leaving the adults and everyone else confused. "What?" Max asked with a raised brow. "What'd I say?"

"I dunno." Qrow piped up as he went for a second burger. "But hey, more burgers for us, am I right?" He reached over and picked up a patty… only for half of it to break off and fall to the ground. The former drunkard grimaced and hung his head. "…Ugh, make that HALF of one."

…..

Meanwhile, the teens had gathered out front, with Winter and Kenny joining them for good measure. Much to their surprise, out in front of Ben's house was a huge, white Plumber assault vehicle that had Omnitirx symbols in the center of its eight wheels. Everyone stared at it in shock for a few moments before its front doors opened up… revealing a couple of familiar faces.

Doctor Rebecca Holiday, clad in her signature white lab coat and orange turtleneck, stepped out of the passenger side. Meanwhile, on the driver's side, Agent Six came out, dressed in his usual green three-piece suit. Holiday addressed the teens first with a soft smile. "Hey everyone. Sorry to just barge in unannounced."

"Doctor Holiday?" Blake spoke up. "And Agent Six? What brings you here?"

"Yeah, I thought you guys were locking up all the baddies we brought back." Sun continued.

Six was the one to answer him. "That's been taken care of." he stated bluntly. "Right now, we have something else to deal with."

Rex rubbed the back of his head. "Ah, c'mon Six, we were JUST having lunch. Can't it wait—" BOOM! Everybody let out a yell as the sound of an explosion suddenly rang through the air, sending everyone on high alert. The group directed their attention toward where the sound came from, and immediately, they were greeted by the sight of smoke billowing from the large cluster of buildings in the distance.

"Well… crap baskets." Pyrrha muttered.

Rex glanced back to his mentor and was met with a certain face, one that he recognized straight away as one that said; "No". Rex sighed and slumped forward slightly. "Ugh, alright, what do we have?"

"Trust me, Rex, if that explosion was any indication, this is DEFINITELY something worth interrupting lunch for." Holiday said as she pulled out a holographic tablet. She input a few commands into the device before a large map over took its screen, one that appeared to be of a city that had a large, pulsating red dot in the middle of it. "About half an hour ago, the scanners in the Plumber base picked up a strange anomaly in downtown Bellwood, and not long after, reports of giant robots began to pour in."

This took everyone aback. "Wait, giant robots?" Neptune tilted his head. "You serious? Just… giant robots, out of the blue?"

"Very curious." Penny said with a contemplative face. "And also quite sudden."

Ilia placed her hands on her hips. "Penny's got a point. A strange anomaly happened and all of these robots just appear from out of nowhere? Sounds pretty suspicious…"

Ben gave the chameleon girl and the android a nod. "Yeah, that's kinda how things work around Bellwood. Things just seem to happen suddenly and without explanation." The hero strolled up and crossed his arms at Six. "So, how many robots are we talking here?"

"If the reports are to be believed, several dozens of them." Six answered. "Maybe even more."

"Any specific descriptions?" Ben followed up.

Holiday brought down the map and switched to a small video player. "Actually, I've got some street cam footage of the robots right here. Take a look." The team peered at the holographic tablet as Holiday held it up, revealing a large blue robot that was shaped like a flying saucer with three arms and a wheel on its bottom, the mech rampaging through the streets of Bellwood with many more of its kind. "See? Giant robot, as it says on the tin."

Ben, Kevin and Gwen's eyebrows all furrowed at the sight of the large mech. "Aren't those Computron's minions?" the Anodite asked.

"Yep, seems like it." Kevin nodded.

"Woah, woah, hold up." Rex held his hands up to the trio with a baffled expression. "Computron? As in… the combiner from Transformers?"

The Alien Trio all facepalmed before Ben answered. "No, not THAT Computron. …Though admittedly, I DID get confused on that one the first time, too." He glanced off to the side and murmured; "Almost as bad as Azmuth and the whole "Primus" thing."

Yang came up and nudged her boyfriend. "So what're we up against, exactly, Green Boy? Sounds like you guys went up against these things before."

"We sure did." Ben confirmed as he began to explain. "Computron was a large robot that came from an alternate dimension… yes, ANOTHER one of those." The hero couldn't help but smirk to himself. "Kinda odd how we keep running into those. Anyway, we know that Computron was programmed to obliterate organic life, but where it originally came from, we still have no idea." He pointed to the holographic screen. "Those are its minions, which are always pretty much in blue. Computron is MUCH bigger and red. Last I saw him, he got his head punched off… by a guy who WASN'T me."

"Okay… so how do we stop these things?" Weiss asked.

"Easy; we beat 'em up." Ben answered, earning him a surprised look from everyone. "…Yes, it's THAT easy. Computron was a little bit harder to take down, but his minions are a cake walk. They do NOT like superpowers or hard-hitting weapons. Speaking of hard-hitting, though…" His attention went back to Six. "Have you told Cooper and Team CFVY about this? We could use their help."

Six gave him a nod. "Yes, I did. Unfortunately, they were in the middle of driving to the next town over to visit Cooper's parents. They had to pull a U-turn, so we're not sure when they'll get here."

Ben put a hand to his hip with a slight smirk. 'Wow, Coop, already confident enough to introduce your new friends AND your girlfriend to your parents, huh? Nice.' He gave Six a nod of his own. "Alright, guess we're on our own for the time being."

An eager grin came to Ruby's face at the news. "Well then, it sounds like we have a job to do, guys!" She raised a fist into the air. "Who's with me?!"

The team collectively cheered with her before Six jerked his thumb toward the assault vehicle, its back ramp slowly opening. "Good, then everyone load up."

"An' make it snappy, would ya?" Everyone's eyes snapped over toward the vehicle as a rather deep and gruff voice came from it, complete with a city accent. At that moment… a chimpanzee strolled out of the back of the vehicle like it was no big deal, the animal wearing a red fez, black eyepatch, and yellow and black body suit with a pair of large red guns on his hips. …Also, he was talking. "We ain't got all day afta—" The simian cut himself off when his one eye caught sight of Rex, a grin slowly coming to his face. "HA! Well I'll be damned… CHIEF!"

Rex's face broke out into a massive grin as he started forward. "HAHA! Bobo! Dude, where the HECK have you been—"

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Without warning, a loud, high-pitched yell suddenly echoed throughout the area, with a black, white and pink blur suddenly rushing past Rex and knocking him on his rear. The blur then zipped right up and scooped Bobo up, revealing itself to be none other than Nora. The Pink Dynamo held Bobo aloft, with possibly the most excited face ever plastered across her features. "IT'S THE TALKING MONKEY!"

Ren facepalmed at his best friend's antics. "Oh, here we go."

Jaune couldn't help but blink in shock. "Gotta admit, though… it IS pretty surreal to see a talking monkey."

"Indeed." Pyrrha said as she watched Nora begin to cuddle with Bobo, who did NOT seem too happy. "Thought I doubt that he's one of the more… jovial ones."

Immediately, Bobo was quick to try and break free from his sudden prison. "Hey, HEY! First off; I ain't a monkey, chicky! I'm a chimpanzee! Second of all; watch the fur!" His one eye moved over to Rex, who was just starting to get back up with Weiss' help. "Chief, you HAD to bring the crazy pink girl back with ya?!"

Rex wore a sheepish grin as he rubbed his neck. "Heh, sorry, Bobo. I WOULD have given you a bit of warning, but I didn't get the chance to catch up with ya."

"Great, glad to know ya appreciate me at least THAT much." Bobo said sarcastically. "Now could someone UNLATCH this crazy dame from me before I—" But then, Bobo cut himself off when he noticed a certain white head of hair, one who just so happened to be standing behind his best friend. "Okay, Pinkie, seriously, time to get yer hands off." Bobo managed to wriggle his way free and drop to the ground before his head snapped toward Holiday, all while pointing to the white-haired girl. "Yo, Doc! That dame in the ponytail an' frilly dress. THAT'S her, right?"

His words immediately caught Wiess and Rex's attention, the former heiress saying; "Huh?"

Holiday, however, smiled and gave him a nod. "Why yes, that is indeed her, Bobo."

"Hm…" Bobo made his way over and sent a narrow-eyed look at Weiss, the girl shrinking back a bit as he made his way around both her and Rex.

"Uh, Bobo?" Rex asked. "What're you—"

"Just a sec, Chief." Bobo halted with a raised hand. "Just wanna make sure I got this straight." He pointed right toward Weiss. "Holiday tells me that you're dating THIS girl right 'ere. That true or what?"

The couple's eyebrows rose up before Rex shot a small pout over to Holiday, the doctor shrugging in response. Rex sighed and nodded his head. "Yes, Bobo. I am." He waved his arm in Wiess' direction, introducing her to the EVO chimp. "Bobo, this is Weiss Schnee. She's my girlfriend."

Bobo smirked slyly at that. "Ah, I KNEW it! Hehe, good fa' you, Chief. Ya finally jumped back in the datin' game." He tapped his chin as he took notice of Weiss' attire. "An' from the looks o' that dress, I'd say you picked out someone who's pretty high class…"

Weiss placed her hands on her hips indignantly and raised a brow to Bobo. "Hmph, and YOU must be the infamous Bobo Haha."

Bobo took off his fez and gave Weiss a bow. "At yer service. I take it the Chief's been singin' my praises to ya?"

"If by "praises", you mean that you're a big-time trouble maker, then yes."

"Hey, what can I say?" Bobo shrugged. "I like to have fun. But as much as I wanna get to know ya, chicky, we gotta—" BOOOM! Right then and there, yet another explosion rocked the area, this time enough to shake the ground slightly. Everyone snapped their heads back toward downtown where they saw even more smoke beginning to rise up. It was enough for Bobo to lose his balance, the chimp falling to the ground. "OOF! Well… that ain't good."

Winter gave a resolute nod. "Indeed. We need to get there right away." She turned toward Ken and gave him a serious gaze. "Kenny, could you go into the house and tell everyone what's happen—"

At that moment, however, the front door to Ben's house burst open and all of the adults came clamoring outside, with concern written all across their faces. "Ben! W-What's going on?!" Sandra exclaimed.

"…I think they already know." Ken said with an awkward smile.

The smoke had immediately garnered Raven's attention. "And where is all that smoke coming from?" She then took note of a certain engaged duo standing not too far away from the group. "Six? Holiday? What in the world is happening?!"

"Long story short, mom?" Yang piped up. "We've got some evil robots popping up in Bellwood from a dimensional rift that WE didn't make." She pounded a fist into her hand and a smirk came to her face. "And ya know what that means! It's time to go kicks some ass!"

The group of adults were all stunned by how soon something had happened. "Huh, not even a couple hours in this world an' already shit's goin' down." Qrow grumbled before pulling Harbinger off his back. "Alright, let's take care of this."

But Ben was quick to put a halt to the man. "Hold on a minute, Qrow, I think the gang and I have this one." He eyed his team and gave them a wink. "After all, I WAS wondering how I would introduce them to the public, and this whole situation has provided us with the perfect set up. What do you think guys, that sound good?!" In response, the group of teens cheered again, showing that they supported the idea.

Qrow, Raven and Tai all shared a glance before smiling toward the team, the Team STRQ trio quickly agreeing with the idea. "Heh, well, if you kids say you've got this, then who're we to argue, huh?" Qrow shrugged.

"Yeah, just be careful out there, 'kay?" Tai added. "From the sounds of those explosions, those robots sound like they're no joke."

"Don't worry, dad, we'll be good." Ruby said with a wink.

Raven sent Ruby a nod. "Hmhm, I'm sure that you will. Well then, we'll see you all soon… either back here or on TV, whichever happens first."

The whole group got a good chuckle out of that before a certain EVO chimp raised his voice again. "Alright, alright, enough with the chit-chat, we've got robots to scrap!" Bobo jerked his thumb toward the assault vehicle for emphasis. "So load up if you're goin', we ain't got all day!" As a few members of the team began to board the assault vehicle, though, Bobo caught sight of something that made his eyes widen. He reached out and grabbed Sun's tail, catching the boy by surprise. "Hold up there a second, kiddo."

"Gah! Hey, what gives?" Sun asked indignantly.

"That thing." Bobo pointed to the tail in question. "Is that… real?"

"Uh, yeah." Sun said as he swished his tail around. "It is. I'm a monkey Faunus, after all."

A grin came to Bobo's face and he extended his hand, shaking Sun's own. "Heh, nice. Good ta meet ya, my simian friend. Now c'mon, we gotta get the lead out an' take care o' business."

Sun blinked a couple times as he followed Bobo into the vehicle, slightly confused as to what just happened. "Uh… okay, sure."

As Sun went in, Bobo's gaze then focused out on the rest of the group. "Alright, anyone else gettin' on board?!"

"Nah, we've got our own rides." Yang grabbed the keys for Bumblebee out of her pocket and jiggled them around, getting Ben's attention. "Okay, Green Boy, let's roll!"

But before she could even take a step over to her bike, Ben put a hand on her shoulder with a knowing grin. "Uh, hold on just a second, Yang. I think it's time we change things up a little bit."

Yang blinked at this before extending an arm to her bike. "Uh, Ben, what're you talking about? We kinda have to get going now."

"I know, don't worry, Goldie Locks." Ben assured. "I just think that, since you've been hauling ME around on your bike for the last three weeks… it's time for me to return the favor." The hero spun around and called out to his father; "Hey dad! My keys right there?!"

Carl smirked as he leaned back into the house, taking said keys off the hooks that were right next to the front door. "Yep, got 'em right here!" He hurled the keys across the lawn and asked; "Want me to open the garage?!"

"Sure do!" Ben said as he caught the keys and pressed a button on the fob immediately, pointing it to the garage. In a matter of seconds, the whole team could hear a rather loud engine beginning to start up inside… and in a matter of seconds, the large door to the garage began to lift up, revealing a set of headlights shining in the darkness. Ben pressed another button just as Yang came up next to him to take a closer look… and what happened next made everyone's jaws drop.

From out of the garage came a sleek sports car, the vehicle rolling out on its own before stopping directly next to Ben. It was primarily black and had a continuous green detailing that went down across the bottoms of its doors, went around its rear before leading directly to its green spoiler. On its front, the green detailing crisscrossed across its hood to form and X shape, its thin headlights glaring like a pair of eyes. Like the Plumber assault vehicle, it had Omnitrix symbols on its rims, making it distinctly Ben's. The hero put a hand on the roof and said; "Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present the DX Mark 10. My car."

There was a long silence before someone finally spoke up. "Is… is it a Transformer?" Nora uttered.

"I don't think it is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was." Neptune admitted.

Ben chuckled before setting his eyes onto Yang, the blonde's breath having been utterly taken away by the sight of her boyfriend's car. "Well, Yang, what do you think?"

Rather than a response, though, Yang suddenly zipped right over to her bike and gave it a hug. "I am so sorry, Bumblebee. You know I love you… but mama has to leave you for a little while." She gave the bike a kiss and rubbed it soothingly. "I promise I'll be back to riding you soon… in a couple days… maybe a week." She gave it another kiss before instantly spinning around and practically charging at the DX Mark Ten. "NOW GET ME IN SHOTGUN!"

Ben couldn't help but let out a small, yet happy sigh. He knew that this was gonna happen, but he didn't expect it to be THIS effective. "Heh, well, I guess that answers MY question." He clenched a fist and started toward his car. "In any case… it's Hero Time!"

…..

Screams of sheer terror could be heard echoing through the streets of downtown Bellwood, with citizens running in all different directions to try and escape the incoming threat. Dozens of blue robots were swarming all over the streets, and all of them were laser focused on their fleshy targets while firing their optic beams. And while there didn't appear to be any casualties so far, there WERE a few serious injuries, as well as a lot of collateral damage. Case in point; a tall lamp post had been taken down and fell directly onto a couple people, sending one woman sprawling to the ground while the other's leg was bashed beneath it. "AAAGH! MY LEG!" the man cried out. "My leg!"

"Hold on!" Another man shouted as he rushed to help, grabbing the heavy metal pole. "I'll get you two out—AH!" Before he could get there, though, the robot that had shot the pole down rolled up and slammed one of its arms into him, sending him careening away. He WOULD have hit a building head on… if something hadn't stopped him.

The man's eyes snapped down to see a redheaded girl staring back at him, her hands glowing pink as she maintained a large energy construct to keep him aloft. The girl set him down and went over to him in concern. "Are you alright, sir?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm… wait." The man's eyes widened in realization. "Aren't you—"

"HEY! Metalhead!" The two whirled their heads around just in time to see a certain raven-haired young man come running up and absorb the metal of the light pole… before then reaching into two pouches on his waste. He pulled out a red crystal and absorbed it into his arms before smashing his fists together, lighting his arms up in flames as a smirk came to his face. "Well, I guess that answers if Dust can work on Earth or not." He made a "come at me" motion toward the robot with his hands. "Okay, now why don't ya try playin' with the BIG BOYS?!" His arms shifted into a mace and an axe before tackling the robot, cleaving through each if its arms before bashing its head in. "REX!"

From up above, another voice responded. "Lo tienes, Kevin!" The people directed their eyes skyward as they saw a certain young Hispanic teen come soaring down from the sky… via a large, winged jetpack with turbines. However, after building up enough speed, the young man exchanged that for an absolutely massive sword, one that he used to slice through the wheeled robot completely. Rex shouldered his sword and gave Kevin a fist bump. "One down…"

"Yeah, and about twenty to go." Gwen said as she approached the duo, using her powers to create a tether to the fallen lamp post. "Now, help me get these people out, boys." The duo complied and in no time, the people were free. The woman's arms were bloodied up, but she could still stand, though unfortunately, the man could not.

"Gah! M-My leg… I think its broken…" he murmured.

"Don't worry, sir, I'll get you to safety." Gwen assured, creating a long mana platform that she used as a stretcher. She moved the man away while Kevin escorted the woman to safety, the scene causing many more people to gather up and watch what was going down.

From the crowd, someone pointed out; "Hey, wait, it's that Rex guy!"

"Y-Yeah!" came another voice. "And isn't that… Gwen and Kevin?! I thought they disappeared WEEKS ago!" The person suddenly let out a gasp. "W-Wait… th-then could that mean—"

BLAM! All of a sudden, another large laser suddenly shot straight over the crowd's heads, immediately warning them of another incoming blue robot. The gathered people let out a collective scream as the robot came charging at them, only for someone to come charging in from out of nowhere… and a bright green light to suddenly flash throughout the whole area. Once the light died down, everyone gasped at what was standing between all of them and the robot.

"SWAMPFIRE!"

Immediately, the crowd behind the Methanosian erupted into cheers of excitement and adoration, elated at the glorious return of their hero. "IT'S HIM!" "BEN TENNYSON!" "HE'S FINALLY RETURNED!" "WHERE'S HE BEEN ALL THIS TIME?!" "WHO CARES?! KICK THEIR ASSES, BEN!"

On the inside, Swampfire couldn't help but smile a little. While he didn't think much of being famous anymore, he was still happy that there were people who supported him in battles such as these. But now wasn't the time to start feeling the warm fuzzies. It was time to get down to business. Swampfire narrowed his eyes at the robot and placed his hands on his hips. "You know, it's really NOT cool that you're destroying my home town. So I think it's time that I escort you guys back to where you came from…" He slammed his fist into his palm. "And that's the scrap heap!"

Just then, the robot spoke; "Target, Ben Tennyson. Status: Located. Operation:" The blue bot opened its scissor-like hands and readied another optic blast, beginning to roll forward again. "Elimination."

"Trying to eliminate me, huh?" Swampfire said as he suddenly produced a cluster of seeds from his hands. "Yeah, I don't think so." The Methanosian chucked the seeds toward the robot's large wheel and, in an instant, a huge swarm of thick, thorny vines began growing out of them, trapping the robot and keeping it in place. The mech tried to increase the speed in its wheel, but failed to move an inch, the vines successfully rooting themselves into the pavement.

"Sorry, but no dice." Swampfire raised his hands and sent out a blast of methane toward the robot, completely shrouding it in a cloud of pungent, green gas. "And this is where you go down." Swampfire snapped his fingers and produced a single spark of flame, sending it straight toward the robot before it was completely engulfed in a fiery explosion. "And that brings two down."

But behind him, the crowd of people were losing their minds, as if he had won the whole thing already, with cheers like; "HAHA! YES! Way to go, Ben!" "I KNEW you weren't gone for good!"

Most of all, though, the one cheer… or rather COLLECTION of cheers that rang out most… were the many girls that had gathered together, their elated screams drowning out nearly everyone else. "Oh, he's JUST as awesome as when he left!" "And he's STILL just as hot! …Literally AND figuratively." "Oh! OH! BEN! Are you still single?!"

The Methanosian let out a sigh as Gwen, Kevin and Rex all came up to him, the hero pinching the bridge of his nonexistent nose. "Well, I knew THAT question was coming eventually." He put on a serious expression and addressed the crowd. "Everyone! There'll be time for questions and answers later. Right now, you all need to—"

"AAAAAAAH!" Everyone went on high alert at the sound of a high-pitched scream, the whole crowd and four heroes moving their attention toward the other end of the street. There, much to everyone's shock… was a little girl, one who had been cornered by one of the robots.

"Oh no!" Gwen exclaimed before starting forward… only for Swampfire to bring her to a halt.

"Wait a sec, Gwen… they've got this." Swampfire assured. Gwen smiled back and nodded to her cousin, standing down immediately. Behind him, the gathered audience had no idea what was going on, and immediately began shouting for the hero to do something. However, Swampfire just raised a hand to the crowd. "Don't worry, everyone…" A smirk came to his face as rose petals suddenly started falling from the sky, leaving the crowd in a state of utter confusion. "I've got someone on the case."

Suddenly, darting from practically out of nowhere, came a dashing blizzard of red petals. The crowd of onlookers could feel their jaws go slack as the speeding petals suddenly rushed toward the girl and the robot. And then, in the blink of an eye, the girl was swallowed up by the petals, making the whole crowd gasp as the blizzard suddenly turned around in the middle of the air and came back over toward the heroes. Without warning, the petal blizzard stopped and the girl reappeared, standing still and staring straight forward in shock for a few seconds. Finally, she blinked, and her attention was garnered by something red and flowing in front of her face.

She had been picked up by a friendly-looking girl in a red hood and cape, donned in a black, white and red combat dress. The older girl was crouching down so that she was eye-level with her, and the little girl immediately noticed that this lady's eyes gleamed like silver. Her hood was up, so her face was slightly obstructed, but she could still make out a smile on her face. "Hi, are you okay?" the older girl asked.

"Uh… y-yeah." the child muttered. "W-What did you do?"

"I saved you with my Semblance!" The girl said cheerily. "I hope I didn't scare you."

The younger girl brightened up a little. "N-No! I-It was actually a lot of fun!"

The older girl giggled and ruffled the younger one's hair. "Glad you enjoyed it."

"Nice work, Ruby." Swampfire said as Ruby stood up to her full height, pulling her hood down in the process. Back over near the crowd of onlookers, they were all in awe at what they had just seen, muttering and murmuring to themselves as they stared at Ruby. Swampfire smirked and jerked his thumb to the audience. "Seems like you've got the peoples' interest piqued."

"Huh, I guess so!" Ruby grinned before going back to the girl, whom Gwen had stepped over to. "You go with the nice redheaded girl, okay, sweetie? We're going to take care of these hunks of scrap metal."

The little girl continued to stare at Ruby in shock as the Hooded Huntress faced the mechs that were beginning to approach them. "H-How?"

"Hmhm, the only way I know how." From beneath her cloak, Ruby pulled out a certain metal piece of red machinery and pressed a button on it, which caused it to begin unfolding and extending into something that left everyone baffled. In Ruby's hand, Crescent Rose had assumed its scythe mode, its wielder spinning it around masterfully before striking her signature pose, an eager grin came to her face. "Ben, I think we can handle things from here."

Swampfire waved a hand to her. "Be my guest."

"Thank you. Okay, Team RWBY! Let's get in there!"

(Cue "This Will be the Day" by Jeff and Casey Lee Williams)

As Gwen began to lead the little girl to safety, Ruby spun her scythe around so that its head was facing being her and pulled on the bolt handle, loading the weapon up before shooting it. This rocketed her forward in an instant and sent her careening toward the lead robot, the hooded girl twisting herself around in midair as she swung her scythe. She landed behind the robot in a crouch and, almost immediately, the robot fell over, its top half having been sliced off of its wheel. Back with the others, Ruby was certain that she heard the little girl yell; "THAT WAS SO COOL!"

'Hm, she hasn't seen anything yet.' Ruby thought to herself as more robots headed her way. "Weiss! Let's put the brakes on these things!"

Almost immediately, the ground in front of Ruby became littered with about twelve white glyphs, with one of them appearing under one robot each. It was then that a certain pair of white-haired women came lunging out from a nearby alley way, with glyphs of their own appearing beneath their feet. "That enough brake for you, Ruby?" Weiss asked.

"Yes, it is." Ruby nodded before turning to the taller of the two. "And thanks for the assist, Winter!"

"My pleasure." Winter smiled as the glyphs beneath her and Weiss began to spin rapidly. "Now come! Let's dispose of these metal monstrosities!" With that, Wiess and Winter suddenly propelled themselves forward, their leaps enhanced by the glyphs. The crowd was left awestruck at just how fast all three ladies were moving, using their bladed weapons to slice through the robots' arms. Weiss in particular got their attention as she used her weapon to summon a massive wave of ice that impaled about three of the robots instantly.

"Woah! Who ARE these ladies?!" one of the citizens asked.

"I don't know, but it's obvious that Ben knows them." another pointed out. At that moment, though, the person let out a gasp as a few of the robots began to move their way around the battle and speed toward them. "AH! Watch out, they're coming this—" FWOOSH! "Huh?!"

At that moment, a new figure entered the fray, dashing past the crowd in a streak of black and white. "Hey, Ruby! Weiss! Keep your heads up!" Blake called out as she used her Semblance to make a fiery shadow clone of herself, the cat Faunus sending it flying directly into the nearest robot and making catch fire. She then jumped right up on top of it and used her weapon, Gambol Shroud, to slice off its "head", resulting in it toppling over. "You don't want any of these things slipping past you!"

"Oops! Sorry, Blake!" Ruby called back.

"We've kinda got our hands full!" Weiss added.

Blake let out a breath and readied Gambol Shroud again, ready to start slicing through the robots. But before she could, she heard a small voice in the crowd pipe up from behind her. "Mommy, mommy! That girl's got cat ears!" Blake's eyes widened and her aforementioned feline ears perked up, her head turning to face the crowd with a worried gaze.

There, she found the source of the voice; a little boy being held up by his mother… and the child smiling at her. And, much to the Faunus girl's surprise, her worries were for nothing as his mother smiled along with her son. "Oh wow, you're right, sweetie! Look at how cute she is!"

Blake's eyebrows rose up in surprise and a blush came to her face, with another person giving her a wave and shouted; "Yeah, it's so cool! Go get 'em, cat girl!"

"Oh, uh, hehe… th-thank you." Blake's ears folded downward in embarrassment as she shied away slightly, unsure what to make of the situation. 'Wow… I guess I didn't have anything to worry about after all—'

"Blake, WATCH OUT!"

Once again, Blake's ears stood up on end and she whirled around, cleaving both Gambol Shroud and its sheath through an incoming robot. The blue mech fell into bits and pieces at her feet, the girl letting out a breath as she glanced back over her shoulder to the one who warned her. "Heh, thanks partner."

"I think you mean "pardner"." Yang said as she lifted her cowboy hat, putting on a pseudo-southern accent. She gave Yang a wink and a toothy smirk. "So, how's all the attention?"

Blake rolled her eyes and nudged her head toward the robots. "How about we kick these things to the curb first and THEN we can talk about that?"

Yang gave her a shrug. "Fine by me." She turned around and gave the gathered audience a tip of her hat. "Watch and be amazed, folks! You're about to see what Huntresses are like in action!" Yang faced the blue robots once more and activated her Ember Celica, crouching low to the ground as he planted her fists to the pavement. "BANZAI!" BLAM! With a shot from her gauntlets, Yang rocketed toward the incoming horde of blue robots and began slugging away at them, letting off shot after shot from her gauntlets with every punch.

Blake then rushed forward and unhooked Gambol Shroud's ribbon, tossing it over to her partner as she called out; "Yang! Bumblebee formation!"

"On it!" Yang grabbed the ribbon from out of the air and jumped backward, firing a blast from her gauntlets in order to get some momentum going. Blake then began swinging Yang around by her weapon, the Blonde Brawler bashing through every single robot that dared to get in their radius. Once the area was cleared, Yang landed and brought herself to a halt, flicking the brim of her hat upward as she and Blake stood tall and victorious. "Heh, those things didn't know what—"

"Uh, Yang?" Blake tapped her partner on the shoulder and pointed down the street… where there were even MORE blue robots rolling toward them.

Yang blinked and then grimaced at the sight. "Oh… well, crap."

Ruby, Weiss and Winter all began to regroup with them as well, the five ladies standing together to hold the line. "There's so many of them!" Ruby exclaimed.

"It's like they're never-ending!" Weiss added as she brought up another glyph and shot a chilly beam of icy energy toward the incoming horde. The ones in front DID freeze up, but much to her surprise, all of the ones in the back suddenly started smashing through the ice wall, destroying their comrades in the process. "Well… that didn't work. Anyone have a plan?!"

HONK-HONK! Everyone's heads whirled around to see the Plumber Assault Vehicle come barreling toward them from around a nearby street… and proceed to smash its way through a ton of robots in order to get to the group. Everyone wore surprised expressions as the vehicle came to a stop, its ramp lowering so that the rest of the team could disembark. "Hm, well, that's ONE way to decrease their numbers." Winter mused.

"No kiddin'." Yang nodded before calling out to a certain blonde knight. "Hey Jaune! What took you guys?!"

"Sorry, gals!" Jaune answered as he pulled Crocea Mors Mark II out of its sheath, which then transformed into the blond knight's shield that he affixed to his arm. "We hit a bit of traffic."

At that moment, Bobo came stumbling out of the back of the assault vehicle, holding his head as he said; "An' the crazy redhead wouldn't stop trying to push all the damn buttons in there!"

"…Yes, that is also true." Pyrrha said with a wince.

Back over with the large crowd, Kevin facepalmed. "Why am I not surprised?"

Following behind Jaune and Pyrrha came Nora, Ren, Sun, Neptune, Penny and Ilia, the eight teens all bringing out their weapons to do battle. "Ah, c'mon, can ya BLAME me for that?" Nora asked with a giggle. "They were all so flashy and colorful! It's like they were BEGGING me to push them!"

Ren let out a sigh. "Nora, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but how about we focus that on these robots?"

Nora beamed at the prospect. "Okie Dokie!" She faced Ilia and waved over to her. "Ilia! Could you maybe give me a jolt to jumpstart me?"

Ilia's eyes widened and she blinked at the idea. "Huh… I guess I could!" She pulled out her Lightning Lashed and whipped it over to Nora, who caught the weapon in her hand. "Here goes nothing!" Ilia pulled the trigger and bolts of electricity immediately began coursing through her weapon and into Nora, who began using her semblance on the spot.

The arcs of yellow lightning became pink within a few seconds of Nora absorbing the power, a manic grin coming to the Pink Dynamo's face. "Ooh, yeah, now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!" Once she was sure she had enough stored power, Nora rushed forward and took a mighty leap up into the air, pulling out her grenade launcher to take aim at the bots. She made sure that her aim was focused directly into the middle of their forces before the entire front of her weapon opened up, revealing all six grenades. "I'll see you blue boys in HELL!" With that, Nora fired all of her grenades down toward the robots, creating a massive, pink explosion that took out at least a dozen or so in one go. She started to come down and shifted Magnhilde into its hammer mode, bringing the weapon crashing down onto one of the blue robot's heads… which resulted in the entire thing caving in on itself.

Everyone was just stunned into silence as Nora picked herself up and shouldered her hammer, with a few pinks sparks still dancing across her muscles. In particular, Bobo's jaw was slack for a few moments before a devilish grin came to his face. "Okay, maybe this dame ain't as bad as I thought."

"Heh, and THAT is how you make a dent in numbers!" Nora spun around and gave the others a wave. "Well?! What're you guys waiting for, an invitation?! There's still plenty of bots for us to scrap!"

"I'm right there with ya, crazy girl!" Bobo shouted as he pulled out his large, red pistols and jumped up onto the roof of the Plumber vehicle, taking aim out at the huge mob of robots. "There won't be enough o' these robots left ta fill a tea spoon!" With a primal yell, Bobo began firing powerful red blasts of energy at the robots, which tore multiple holes through them and made them look like swiss cheese.

The team were all brought back to reality as Ren pulled out his Stormflower pistols, spinning them around at the same time. "They're right, let's get in there!" The green ninja rushed forward into the battlefield and began darting around, using the blades on his guns to slice through the arms of the blue mechs, which served to take them off balance and make them fall to the ground. Nora then finished them off with more mighty swings from her hammer, knocking the robots into one another all the while.

"Good thinking, Renny!" Nora complimented as she nudged the boy's shoulder. "They can't exactly stand if they're lopsided, can they?"

A determined expression came to Jaune's face as he smiled toward Pyrrha. "Hey, we can't let them have ALL the fun, now can we?"

"Indeed, we can't." Pyrrha grinned as her eyes went down toward the street. There, she saw the bits and pieces of the robots that Nora had blown up, now reduced to nothing but scrap metal. "…And I believe I have an idea." Pyrrha focused on her Semblance and reached a hand out, a black aura surrounding it briefly before, all of a sudden, a huge swath of the scrap metal around her began to float up, with it too surrounded by a black aura. Pyrrha waved her hand up and in a split second, all of the metal pieces surrounding her came flying up into the air, collectively circling around and building up speed.

"…You're doing the same thing you did during the food fight at Beacon, aren't you?" Jaune smirked.

"Correct." Pyrrha nodded. "This ought to get their attention." She set her gaze over to a group of robots that Ren and Nora hadn't gotten to yet, the mechs rolling over to them. "Let's see how they like being taken down by their own wrecked allies!"

With that, Pyrrha waved her hand toward the robots and the circling scrap above their heads suddenly blasted out toward them, the twisted pieces of metal being aimed straight for their heads. The robots went to retract their heads into their bodies, but the speeding metal was too fast, with many bits and pieces either sticking themselves into their optics or getting lodged down in their chest cavities as they pulled their heads in. As a result, many of the robots found their heads to be stuck, leading them to rolling around unable to see a thing.

Jaune watched in amusement as the group of robots began to bump into each other, resulting in them falling over backwards constantly. "HA! Pyr, you're a genius!"

Pyrrah blushed while wearing a proud smile on her face. "Hmhm, well, I try." She gave her boyfriend a wink as she pulled up her xiphos. "But we're far from done. We still need to actually destroy them, of course."

Jaune gripped his sword and nodded to her. "Right, let's take 'em down!" The couple charged forward and Jaune got in an attack first, slashing his sword across the chest of the nearest robot before jumping up and stabbing his sword into its upper chest, allowing him to hoist himself up on top of it. At that moment, though, the robot actually managed to bring its head back up, much to Jaune's shock. "Oh geez!" The blonde knight thrust his shield forward and bashed its tip into the mech's optic, the shield then shifting so that a gun barrel popped out of the tip.

"Say cheese!" Jaune pulled the trigger and shot a round directly into the mech's optic, pulling his shield out as quick as he could before stabbing his sword into the blue orb the very next second. The light faded from the optic and the mech fell to the ground, with Jaune leaping off with a forward flip and landing perfectly on his feet. "HAHA! Alright! Take THAT ya bucket of bolts!"

"Excellent work, Jaune!" Pyrrha called out as she reared Milo back, the weapon having shifted into its javelin mode. She pulled the trigger and thrust her arm forward with all her might, the weapon flying forward at unbelievable speeds. It then impeded itself directly through the heads of three blue robots, taking them down instantly. Pyrrha held her hand out and Milo returned to her, the Invincible Girl giving her boyfriend a sly grin. "That said, I believe I am ahead of you."

Jaune narrowed his eyes at his girlfriend, though his smile was still present. "Hey, since when was this a contest?"

Pyrrha winked to him and answered; "Since a few seconds ago." She craned her head back around to where Ren and Nora were, with Team RWBY and Winter having re-entered the fray as well. "Now come on, we're falling behind!"

As that was going on, Six and Holiday had exited the Plumber Assault Vehicle, the engaged couple standing side by side near the front of it. Holiday faced to her fiancé and raised a brow. "…Aren't you going to go help them?"

"No." Six answered bluntly, his brows furrowing as the fight commenced. "I want to see just what these kids are capable of."

Suddenly, Bobo jumped down from the vehicle and jerked his thumb over to his left. "Well then, may I direct yer attention ova' to the monkey kid? Looks like he's got some moves of his own…"

…..

Meanwhile, across the battlefield, Sun Wukong was wondering just how trouble kept finding them. It hadn't been three hours since they arrived on Earth, and already they were fighting off a whole army of robots. HOW was that possible. "Man, and I was so excited to just spend the rest of the afternoon chillaxing." The monkey boy muttered to himself as he used his bo staff, the Ryui Jingu Bang, to clear the area around him of the blue mechanoids. Whenever one would get too close, he'd thrust the staff directly into its chest and let off a blast from one of its barrels, making it fall to the ground, deactivated.

"I know, right?" Neptune piped up, the blue-haired boy having stuck by his partner for a majority of the battle. He was blasting rounds of Lightning Dust at the robots with his weapon, Tri-Hard, hoping that they would short circuit or something. However, it seemed from the range he was staying, his bullets weren't doing much. "I mean, these things just don't seem to stop coming." He let out a groan and pressed a button on Tri-Hard, the gun shifting into a long guandao with an electric blue blade. "Alright, time to get up close and personal!"

Neptune jumped up and slashed through one of the robot's arms, which, as before, made it lopsided and resulted in it falling to the ground. Neptune then hit yet another button on Tri-Hard, which transformed its blade into a three-pronged trident. The blue-haired boy pulled down his goggles and jumped once again, this time coming down right onto the robot's head and stabbing his trident through its optic, effectively deactivating the mech. "HA!" Neptune shouldered Tri-Hard triumphantly, a cocky smirk on his face. "How do ya like me NOW, scrap heap?!"

"Not bad, dude!" Sun said as he separated his bo staff into his two gun-chuck weapons, spinning them around before leaping at the robots. "And I'm right there with ya! Let's bust their heads!" Sun landed on top of the nearest robot and swung one of his gun-chucks at its head, taking it clean off in one swing. He then leapt off of its body, causing it to fall before landing on yet another one, this time shoving the barrels of his guns into its optic and pulling the trigger. In an instant, its head was blown off as well.

Sun jumped straight up and his tail latched onto a lamp post, the blond swinging himself up on top of it and landing in a crouch. "Alright, so who's—"

"WOAH!" The Faunus' eyes widened and he craned his head down, only to see the large audience of people that The Alien Trio and Rex were still protecting. A preteen boy and his friends were smiling up at him in astonishment, the boy pointing towards his tail. "Guys! That dude has a monkey tail!"

"Hey yeah! And he's got a bo-staff… nunchuck… gun thing!" another boy exclaimed.

"AND he has blonde hair!" said yet another boy, this one calling up directly toward him. "HEY, DUDE! Are you some sort of hard core Super Saiyan or something?!"

Sun sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "Heh, I WISH." He wrapped his tail around the lamp post again and fell backward, holding on as he dangled upside-down. "You already saw the girl with the cat ears, right?" The boys nodded up to him. "Well, she and I are two different types of Faunus. We're human-like beings, but we've just got animal parts and enhanced senses and stuff."

The trio of boys continued to smile up at him. "Woah, that's SO cool!" the first boy shouted.

"Yeah, it must be awesome to have animal parts!" said the second one, only to then send a curious face to Sun. "But, uh… where'd you guys come from?"

An awkward expression came to Sun's face. "That's… actually a bit harder to explain. You see, we're actually from—"

"SUN!"

"Huh—WOAH!" The monkey boy was just able to swing himself up before a large metal arm could hit him, the appendage just seconds away from hitting his head. Sun then swung off the lamp post and did a backflip before landing on the ground, preparing Ryui and Jingu Bang for battle once more…

But then, a certain electric whip suddenly wrapped itself around the blue mech's midsection, slicing cleanly through it like a hot knife through butter. Sun watched as the robot collapsed into two pieces, revealing a rather irritated Ilia behind it. She raised a brow to him and crossed her arms at the boy. "Maybe you could save the explanations for when we AREN'T in the middle of a fight?"

Sun rubbed the back of his head. "Heh, sorry, Ilia." He gestured over to the group of teens across the way. "B-But hey, you gotta admit, having humans actually be CURIOUS about us instead of hateful or afraid of us is a nice change of pace, right?" He saw another blue bot rushing toward him out the corner of his eye and immediately smashed his gun-chucks into its torso, blowing a hole clean through it.

"…Yeah, I guess." Ilia said as she leaped up right as yet another robot was about to slash at her with its scissor-like hands. She then twisted herself in midair and whipped her Lightning Lash clean through the mechanoid, cleaving it right in half down the middle. Ilia landed and peered over her shoulder to the crowd of people, who were all marveling at what they were doing. "I'll admit, it's… nice having people smile at me."

"I know, it's AWESOME, right?!" Neptune exclaimed as he too destroyed another robot, jamming his trident through its wheel and making it fall over. "Hey, maybe you could give them a show with your color changes!"

Ilia blinked in shock before a blush came to her face. "O-Oh, n-no, I couldn't possibly—"

"Hey, did her freckles just change color?" came another voice from the audience.

The chameleon girl deadpanned as the Team SN boys gave her knowing smirks, knowing that she had just dug herself into a hole she couldn't get out of. She had blushed… meaning her spots had turned pink. "…Well, no going back on THAT now. Might as well go all out…" Ilia put on an angry face as her eyes, hair and spots began bright yellow and the rest of her skin changed into a vibrant red, garnering gasped from the crowd. She spun around and cracked her whip, shouting to another robot; "Alright, you dumb bucket of bolts, COME AT ME!"

With that, Ilia charged forth and jumped right up over the mech, swinging her Lightning Lash around so that it cleaved off all three of its arms without a problem. As she descended to the ground, Ilia shot the tip of her Lash out and stabbed the robot right through its head, deactivating it the moment she hit the ground. Ilia pulled her whip back and her lips moved up into a satisfied smirk, her colors shifting to blue and green. "Hm, and that takes care of that."

The audience was silent for a moment, which left Ilia internally worried that she had been a little too intense with that attack. But the moment they began cheering again, all of those worries slowly melted away. "Woah! Did you see that?!" "Y-Yeah! That girl changed colors!" "Sh-She must be some sort of chameleon girl or something!"

Ilia's spots once again became pink at the people's praise. '…I think I'm going to like Earth.' she thought to herself.

"Greetings, Ilia!" The chameleon Faunus' head snapped up to see Penny, the redheaded android having sliced through several more robots using her arm-mounted Floating Array blades, the swords having converted into their Siege Saw configurations. "I take it that you're enjoying the attention?"

"Hehe… y-you could say that." Ilia chuckled. "…Though I'm surprised that no one has noticed YOU yet. I mean, your arms are literally swords right now."

"Oh, they've noticed." Penny assured. "In fact, they cannot seem to get enough of me. Watch…" Penny shifted her arms back to normal and gave a bright smile out to the crowd, waving to them with her usual catchphrase. "Salutations, everybody!"

The reaction was immediate, coming from both guys and girls alike; "AAAAH! What a cutie!" "Oh my god, yes, she is SO cute!" "How is it possible to be THAT adorable?!" "To heck with that, how can she be both that adorable AND deadly at the same time!?"

Ilia was wide-eyed at how many people were clamoring about her android friend, shocked at how many were genuinely enamored by Penny. Ilia glanced over to the redhead… and couldn't help but agree with all of them. 'Still, I've got my eyes on someone else.' She cleared her throat, garnering Penny's attention. "Well, I can certainly see that you're pretty popular already, but I think we should get to bashing these bots down to size."

"A sensational idea!" Penny agreed before waving to the crowd once more. "Apologies, everyone, but I have some work to do!" The red-haired girl spun around and charged at the incoming robots immediately, focusing directly on the nanites that flowed within her upgraded, Mechamorph-like systems. Penny then jumped up so high that she cleared the tops of some buildings and activated her build; her legs shifting into a pair of absolutely huge black and green boots with MASSIVE spikes on the bottoms of them. Penny came careening down feet-first and declared; "Say hello to my Block Busters!"

The android crash landed directly into one of the blue robots, flattening it beneath her new pair of massive arms instantly. Penny then rounded about and began kicking her feet into an incoming horde of robots, the massive spikes impaling themselves through the metal monsters without fail. Once more robots began surrounding, however, Penny switched things up. She exchanged her Block Busters for a pair of large, green and black arms that sprouted out form her back, complete with fists that had two large spikes on each of their knuckles. "And perhaps you would like a taste of my Mechano-Crushers?!"

Once again, Penny went on the offensive, swinging her massive new pair of arms around in a complete circle to take out each and every robot that came her way. Much to everyone's bafflement, though, they still kept coming. Over near the crowd of people, Kevin shouted out; "Dear god, how many of these things ARE there?!"

"No clue." Ben, who was still Swampfire, said with a furrowed brow. "All I know is that we need to find SOME way to wrap this up fast."

"Maybe call for some more back up?" Gwen suggested.

Rex jerked a thumb back over to Penny. "I dunno guys, I think she's got this all handled."

The redheaded android was indeed taking down many of the androids, even passing Teams RWBY and JNPR with how fast she was going. Once again, she then decided to switch things up, with her arms converting into a pair of massive, shoulder mounted cannons. The inside of their barrels glowed with a bright green energy as they powered up, with Penny's eyes glowing similarly as well. "Now… let's see how you all like my BASH BLASTERS!" KA-BLAM! With a loud, thunderous blast, both cannons let lose duo of massive, green energy beams that shot through the horde of robots effortlessly, culminating in a huge, green explosion that took out a majority of the mechanoids.

As the smoke and dust dissipated, the crowd began to cheer as they saw not one robot left standing, with Rex letting out a laugh of his own. "Haha! See?! What'd I tell ya?!"

"HA! Hell yeah, dude!" Kevin agreed before making finger guns at the destroyed robots. "Yippee-ki-yay—"

BOOOOOM! The cheers of the crowd suddenly switched to screams as a huge, red laser beam suddenly blasted through one building and then hit another, causing everyone to duck and cover. Debris and dust wafted through the air as the team collected themselves, their gazes all darting to where the laser had come from. Then, from around the street corner, came none other than Computron himself, the massive red robot accompanied by even more of his blue underlings.

"BEN TENNYSON LOCATED." the massive robot bellowed, it's one giant optic focusing on the Methanosian in question as everyone stared back at it in shock. "OPERATION: TERMINATION."

"…MOTHERFUCKER!" Kevin finished.

…..

A/N: To be continued… And with that, Computron makes his way onto the scene after an already sizeable battle between his minions and the entire team. And what's worse is that he's brought even MORE of those underlings to this fight as well. How will the team retaliate on THIS one? Well, we'll have to find out, but what we DON'T have to wait on is the fact that the public has had their first taste of the Remnant natives and it seems that they've all reacted positively to them, even the Faunus! Bet they're ALL really glad about that, even if they're in a pretty serious situation.

But we're not completely done with introductions either, because HERE COMES BOBO! Easily one of the best characters in Generator Rex bar none and I am SO happy to finally start writing him properly. We've always had little teases of him throughout Volume 1, but here, he's in full force! Really gonna enjoy writing his interactions with Weiss and Nora in particular, as you can probably tell. Also, it seems that things with the parents are continuing to get along fairly well! There will be plenty more interactions with them down the line, so don't you worry about that.

With all that said… NEXT TIME! We're in for a bit of a shorter chapter as we reach the conclusion of the big battle in Bellwood… and the team receives back up in the form of a blonde genius and a certain team of second-years from Beacon. However, Computron is on the attack, and that means it's time for Swampfire to get back in there and pull out his next trick. Time to put the ULTIMATE in Ultimate Omniverse. Thanks for reading guys and I'll see you all next time! And as always, stay safe out there!

P.S. While there won't be an upload HERE tomorrow, there WILL be an upload on the OTHER fic that I'm working on. So if any of you are interested, I gladly invite you over to Transformers: MHA, Arc 1: Bumblebee, where we will be recounting the origin story of our favorite yellow beetle. Hope to see you there!
