A/N (IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ): Morning, everybody! Welcome back to the story and welcome back to Fridays! Well… for the time being, anyway. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!

So, here's the skivvy; the next few chapters are actually going to be the ones that bring this first "season" of Ultimate Omniverse to a close. I've thought about it long an hard and I'm thinking that November is going to be a good place for us to leave off for a number of months before picking back up again. And to be quite honest, I have had a BLAST writing this story for the past eight months. But at the same time, I would definitely like to move on to starting the next arc of my Transformers/My Hero Academia crossover, and trust me, things are gonna be going strong over there as soon as December starts.

That said, you can expect there to be another two chapters of Ben 10/RWBY to come out in November before I take a break week for Thanksgiving and then return in December for Transformers MHA. But hey, I'm gonna make the most of the time I AM still here, so let's jump right in to the latest chapter, shall we? This is…

Chapter 29: A Mexican Vacation

…..

It went without saying that the Omni-Hunters had just been on one of the most intense adventures that they had ever gone on. Within the span of a day, they encountered not one, not two, but THREE Mesoamerican gods, all of whom they ended up making tentative allies with. Sure, things had been a bit rocky along the way with one of them, and the Ministry of Darkness had thrown a big wrench in their plans once again, but in the end things had worked out for the best. They had befriended three gods… and now all that was left was to wait and see if the rest of the Mesoamerican pantheon would be willing to help them in their war against Salem.

So, with all of that behind them, what had they decided to do afterward?

DING-DING!

LUCHARAN!

…They made a beeline back to Mexico City to attend the Triple C Lucha Libre show that was going on. And for the life of her, Weiss had no idea how anyone was enjoying themselves right now. The former heiress had mostly kept to herself throughout the whole show, trying to drown out the cheering from the crowd as well as the ring announcers as they called the action. Somehow, they had all managed to land VIP seats near the front, because apparently the venue owner was a big fan of Ben's.

'Well, I guess there's ONE thing that fame can land you…' Weiss thought before she briefly glanced up to the ring, only to notice that the main event was happening. This stunned her since that meant she had apperantly zoned out for well over an hour and a half. "W-Wait, we're at the end of the show already?!"

"Hey, 'bout time you returned to the land of the living, Ice Princess!" Rex exclaimed as he put an arm over her shoulders. "And just in time, because you're about to see the next Triple C Women's Champ about to be crowned!"

In the ring, there were two women currently grappling with one another, locking their arms together in a challenge of dominance. The taller woman was wearing a purple and red mask with a red V on her forehead, making her appear much angrier than she already was. She had a black ponytail sticking out the back of her mask and she was donned in mostly purple ring gear, with a matching long-sleeved top and tights along with red boots and fingerless gloves. Over her top, though, she wore a black T-Shirt that had the word "GRR" printed in red lettering.

The shorter of the two had tanner skin than her opponent, and she wore a white Luchador mask with purple and green striped detailing and kept her long, magenta ponytail sticking out the back. She also wore a matching striped top and a set of purple trunks for her ring gear, leaving her rather toned midriff exposed. She also war green knee-high boots as well, complete with purple laces.

These two were the highest-ranked females in all of Triple C; Cindy Slam, and Buena Girl, and they were both vying for the women's title. Right off the bat, it appeared that Cindy had the advantage, the taller woman pushing Buena Girl right back into the turnbuckle and chopping her straight across the chest area. Buena Girl let out cries of pain as these attacks continued. Not far away from the heroes, they could hear the English commentary team calling the match as it went; "¡Aye dios mio! Cindy Slam has Buena Girl right where she wants her! Those chops appear to be truly devastating!"

At that moment, the ref came in and he began counting to five, and when he got to four, he was forced to separate Cindy from Buena Girl. The taller woman seemed right pissed about that given her growling, but she complied. Once the clean break was adhered to, however, Cindy went rushing back to Buena Girl to deliver a running knee strike… only for Buena to roll right out of the way. This made Cindy hit the corner full force and her hands went up to her knee in pain. Then, Buena Girl quickly took advantage and rolled onto the ring apron, reached up through the ropes to grab Cindy's leg, and then rolled even further to perform a dragon screw in the ropes, making Cindy give an agonizing cry.

All at once, the Omni-Hunters all cheered for Buena Girl, especially since she had passed by them near the barricade. "WOO!" Yang pumped a fist in support. "You go, Buena Girl! Show her who's boss!"

"You're my favorite!" Ruby shouted. "KICK HER BUTT!"

Once Buena Girl got back up onto the ring, she turned her head toward the girls and gave then a wink and a thumbs up. "¡Muchas Gracias!" Yang and Ruby both squealed in delight as they watched Buena hop up on top of the ring post, waiting for Cindy to roll her way back into the ring and stand up before getting onto the top turnbuckle. Once she was locked on target, she leapt up into the air, and delivered a MASSIVE shotgun dropkick to her opponent, sending her sprawling into the other corner, all while shouting; "BUENA KICK!"

That got a HUGE pop from the crowd as Cindy smacked face-first into the turnbuckle, but Weiss couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Ugh, seriously? People know that this isn't REAL fighting, right? It's a bunch of acrobats play-fighting. There's no real danger in this, it's all—"

"If you say the "F" word, I'm not going to forgive you." Ben interrupted.

"As much as I find it odd to agree with him here, Weiss, Ben is definitely right." Gwen affirmed, much to Weiss' surprise. "I've actually been to several wrestling shows in the past thanks to my dad and uncle, and at a few of them, I actually DID see some wrestlers get seriously hurt. There's nothing quote-unquote "fake" about it."

At this point, Kevin entered the conversation as well. "Yeah, the term you're looking for is "scripted". Wrestling is a series of storytelling battles that DO have planned outcomes, but the whole point of them is to be entertained." SMACK! At the sound of a rather hard hit, everyone's attention went back to the ring, only to see Buena Girl stumble and hit the mat after a rather devastating roundhouse kick courtesy of Cindy Slam. "And heh, I'm certainly entertained by this."

"Yeah, COME ON, Buena Girl!" Ruby shouted toward the ring. "Let's see some fighting spirit!"

Buena Girl went to get up, but Cindy ended up stomping on her hand, making her shout painfully. The taller woman then grabbed her by the neck before performing a snap-mare over her shoulder, putting Buena Girl in a rather hard chin lock afterward. The striped luchadora struggled against the girl's hold, but it all appeared to be in vain… at least until Yang piped up again. "C'mon, lady, don't let her win! BUENA GIRL! BUENA GIRL!" With that, the rest of the crowd quickly began to follow suit and Buena Girl found the strength to break free from the headlock, quickly pushing Cindy down to the mat herself for an armbar.

Blake glanced over to her white-haired teammate with a sympathetic grin. "I get where you're coming from, Weiss, really I do. But while we're here, we might as well have some fun, right?" She nudged her head over to Sun, Neptune, Penny, Ilia, Team JNPR, Cooper and Team CFVY, all of them cheering just as hard as the rest of their friends were. "I sure know that THEY are."

Weiss sighed and set her sights back to the ring, watching as Cindy managed to crawl her way toward the ropes to break Buena Girl's submission. Before long, both of them were beginning to trade strikes and kicks, though neither one of them were willing to back down. At one point, Cindy Slam actually managed to catch one of Buena Girl's punches and then Irish Whip her into the ring ropes. The villainous luchadora then went for a clubbing clothesline… but much to everyone's surprise, Buena Girl actually caught her opponent's arm, and then she used her momentum to flip both of them around in the air, causing Cindy to land face-first on the apron while Buena landed on her knees. Weiss' eyes widened in shock at what she had just seen. "Woah, what was that?!"

"HAHA! A Standing Spanish Fly!" Rex cheered with both arms in the air. "You know how hard that move is to pull off?!"

"THIS IS AMAZING!" Ben exclaimed as well. "C'mon, Buena Girl, capitalize!" As if hearing his words, Buena Girl rolled over onto Cindy and hooked her by the leg. The crowd counted along for the three count… only for Cindy to kick out at the two count, much to everyone's disappointment. "Ah, man! You gotta be kidding me!"

Then, however, everyone was surprised to see Cindy uppercut Buena Girl ring in the gut as she got to her feet, the heroine bent over before Cindy ran the ropes to build up speed. The taller girl then leapt onto Buena Girl, locked her head in her legs and grabbed onto her midsection, before performing a rather amazing flip that send Buena Girl into some sort of massive piledriver! Weiss' lips parted in stunned silence at that. "Oh my goodness! What in the world?!"

"A CANADIAN DESTROYER!" Kevin shouted at the top of his lungs. "This match just got real!" At that, they watched Cindy press her forearm onto Buena Girl's shoulder and hook her leg as well, but Buena Girl kicked out right before the referee's hand hit the mat for the third time. An uproarious cheer went through the audience while Cindy stared at her opponent in disbelief. "AH! I don't believe it!"

"Better believe it, dude!" Rex said as they all watched Cindy pick Buena Girl up and give her a boot to the midsection, making her double over again before then elbowing her back down on her neck hard. Buena Girl was sent sprawling to the mat as Cindy headed over to the nearby corner. "…Okay, what's she doing now?"

As if hearing the EVO's question, the English commentary began to call what was going on. "What's this?! Could Cindy be pulling out her finisher?! Oh, folks, this just got exciting!"

The other commentator was quick to agree. "Right you are, Jose, no one's ever kicked out of Miss Slam's signature before. I think Buena Girl might've met her end if she's not quick enough to get outta there!"

After hearing that, Yang and Ruby began to desperately call out to the dazed Buena Girl, who was just starting to wobblily get up to her feet. "GET UP, BUENA!" Yang shouted as she beat her hand against the barricade.

"MOVE! Get outta there!" Ruby cried as well.

But it was too late. Once Cindy saw that Buena girl was up well enough while still doubled over, she yanked herself up and then bounced off the bottom rope… before then twisting herself around in midair and then bouncing again off the top rope. Everyone stared on in awe as Cindy took to the skies and performed a spinning somersault, building up her momentum before straightening herself out with two powerful fists raised up high into the air. "CINDY…" the villainous luchadora growled before bringing her fists down onto Buena Girl's back very hard. "SLAM!"

"There it is! The Cindy Slammer!" one of the announcers called as both Cindy and Buena came crashing back down to the mat, leaving the entire crowd standing on their feet. "It's the point of no return, folks!"

…Which included Weiss. "Oh my god, that was brutal! And impressively pulled off!"

"It's over, it's GOTTA be." Ben deduced as Yang and Ruby resigned themselves to disappointment. They watched as Cindy went for the pin, wearing a cocksure grin as the referee slapped the mat once, twice, and…

"GYAAAH!" Just as the ref's hand was a sliver away from the mat, Buena Girl somehow managed to kick out, leaving both the crowd and Cindy Slam utterly stunned. But, all the same, an uproarious cheer went through the audience, and Yang and Ruby both popped their lids like there was no tomorrow.

"AAAAAAAHH!" the sisters screamed in excitement with the rest of their friends, the two hugging each other after what had just happened. "I don't believe it!" Ruby screamed.

"I CAN'T believe it!" Yang added. "STILL fighting after a move like that?!"

And apparently, the announcers were just as excited as they were. "¡AYE DIOS MIO! Juan, did you see that?!"

"I did, Jose, I goddamn DID!" the other one replied. "The Cindy Slammer is the whole reason why Cindy Slam has gone undefeated for the past eight months! How the hell did Buena Girl kick out of that?!"

"I don't know, but she must have dug DEEP for that kick out, and Cindy is NOT happy!"

True to form, Cindy was practically roaring with rage inside the ring, and she was quick to change up her tactics. She reached for one of Buena Girl's legs and put her in a half-crab submission, wrenching back on the limb as she screamed in anger and frustration, even banging her opponent's knee against the mat for some extra damage. Buena Girl winced and cried out as well… but she wasn't about to go down so easily. She got up onto one hand and reached up with the other. As it turned out, Cindy had wrenched back so far that her neck was within reach, and so Buena Girl managed to grab her opponent and then drop herself back down to the mat in a pseudo-neck breaker. As expected, Cindy toppled down and the two began a series of mat grappling, which was fairly even as both women had managed to get out of one another's submissions before they were even put on. Finally, though, Buena Girl had managed to put Cindy into a bow-and-arrow stretch, which lasted a good few moments with the taller girl's abdomen and spine being stretched against her opponent's knees.

However, Buena Girl pushed her off and down to the mat soon after, all while she stood up to her feet. "W-Wait, what?" Blake questioned as she saw Buena Girl slapped the leg that Cindy Slam had wrenched back earlier, trying to regain enough strength in it to pull off what she was gonna do next. "What's she going for now?"

"My guess? Her own finisher." Gwen noted as they all watched Buena Girl start running the ropes, rushing past Cindy as she started to get up.

The striped luchadora continued to build up speed as she kept slinging herself between the ropes, and the crowd were practically in a fervor at this point. And before long, with every hit of the ropes she did, she began crying out; "Buena!" *hit* "BULLDOZER! *hit* "OF TRUTH!"

WHAM!

The entire crowd all cheered and gasped as Buena Girl delivered a massive spear to Cindy Slam's midsection, crashing herself shoulder-first into the villain as both girls fell to the mat. Cindy's eyes were now quite visibly rolling as Buena Girl readjusted herself, and as the ref's hand hit the mat, the entire crowd counted; "ONE! TWO! THREE!"

DING-DING-DING!

The pop was deafening as the winner's theme music played. Everyone in the venue was jumping up to their feet and cheering their lungs out to the point where the ring announcer was almost drowned out. And, from the expression on Buena Girl's face, it seemed not even SHE could believe what had happened. "Here is your winner… AND NEEEEWW Triple C Women's World Champion… BUENA GIRL!"

"SHE'S DONE IT!" One of the commentators exclaimed as the ring official took the Women's Title Belt up to the ring and handed it to the ref. "We have a new Women's World Champion!"

"AAAAAH!" Ruby and Yang cried in delight as they saw Buena Girl get handed the title belt, and they could see the young woman begin to break down and cry out of sheer happiness. "YOU DESERVE IT!" they and many others began chanting.

Rex glanced over to Weiss… and saw that while she wasn't cheering, she was at least smiling. "So, think professional wrestling's still dumb?"

"…Well, it's still not entirely for me." Weiss admitted. "But I WILL say that I can respect the athletes who do it. After putting on a show like that, she DOES deserve it."

The team all watched as Buena Girl fell to her knees and held the title belt above her head, shouting at the top of her lungs; "LUCHARAN!". From there, they all saw green and purple confetti come fluttering down from the ceiling before, much to their surprise, Buena Girl slipped out of the ring… and came over to them with a slight limp in her step. Yang and Ruby had to restrain themselves as Buena Girl started to speak to the entire team. "You guys… you're the Omni-Hunters."

"Uh… yeah, we are." Ben answered in astonishment.

Buena Girl's smile brightened up at that, and bowed her head toward them. "Encantada de conocerte. I am a HUGE fan!"

Yang couldn't help but gasp at that. "Ah! No way! Really?!"

Blake couldn't help but tilt her head a bit, though. "Wow, that's… kinda surprising since we've only been around for around a week."

"Does it matter?" Buena Girl said with a pump of her fist. "You guys rule! And I just wanted to say thank you for attending the event…" She glanced down to the title belt that she had strapped over her shoulder. "This means so much to me, and to have such amazing heroes in the crowd for it… es un gran honor."

"Oh, the honor is all ours!" Ruby assured as she took out her scroll. "But speaking of… would you maybe do US the honor of taking a picture with us, please?"

Buena Girl smiled as she happily obliged, sticking her head into frame with Team RWBY, the Alien Trio and Rex. "Haha, I don't see why not! Say cheese, guys!"

And with that, the entire team began taking pictures with Buena Girl, celebrating her victory in a big way. However, unbeknownst to them a certain someone had rolled outside of the ring and was keeping crouched down to avoid being the center of attention. Cindy Slam couldn't help but gaze at the scene before her, slightly jealous that she wasn't over there herself at the moment. All the same though, while the cameras were off her, she couldn't help the slight smile that came to her lips. 'Congratulations, amiga. Put you over the best I could out there.' The ring official then came over to her and helped her to her feet, forcing her signature scowl to come back to avoid the immersion being broken. As she limped toward the back, though, another thought crossed her mind. '…That belt will still be in MY hands someday, though.'

…..

Before anyone on the team knew it, Sunday had arrived, and the sun was just beginning to rise. After the excitement of the wrestling show from last night, they had all gladly returned to their hotel in Mérida to sleep off the massive adventure they had. And to say that they were all utterly exhausted was an understatement. Many of them fell asleep the moment they hit their beds, and only a few of them had gotten up before seven o'clock. Weiss, as it happened, was one of those who had gotten up before then, so she decided to get dressed and head out of her room for a morning stroll.

After exiting her room and softly closing the door, she turned to start her little morning exercise… only to be surprised when she saw none other than Rex standing outside his bedroom door. He was standing with his back facing her and he seemed to be concentrated on something he was holding, prompting her to call out to him. "Uh… Rex?"

"Gah-ha!" Rex let out a yelp and leapt up into the air, spinning around with a nervous grin as his hid whatever he was holding behind his back. "H-Hey there, Weiss! D-Didn't expect you to be up this early!"

"Rex, we're almost always up this early." Weiss noted with a slight pout and a quirk of the brow. "Also, what are you hiding?"

"Oh, hehe… right, that." The EVO rubbed the back of his head bashfully as a light blush came to his cheeks. "Well, you see…" He approached her hesitantly, meeting her at her door. "I-I kinda got you something last night… kind of a present, actually…"

Almost immediately, Weiss' eyes lit up excitedly. "Ah! You got a present for me?!" The former heiress leapt up and wrapped her arms around Rex as quick as she could. "Oh my gosh, Rex, how thoughtful!"

Rex returned the hug with one arm, though his nerves didn't really settle that much. "Heh, well, I'm glad you feel that way… I'm just not sure how much you're gonna really like it since it was kind of an impulse buy."

"Oh, don't say that, you Robo-dolt." Weiss assured, bringing her hand up to cup his cheek. "You were kind enough to buy me something, so whatever it is, I'm sure that I'm going to love it."

She saw Rex's features lighten up a bit, his smile becoming more relaxed at her words. "Heh… well, that definitely makes me feel a lot better, Ice Princess. Thanks." He took a step back and returned his arm to his back. "Okay, close your eyes." His heart fluttered a bit as he heard Weiss give the cutest excited squee he had ever heard before she covered her eyes, though she was unable to stay still in the least. "Okay, one… two… three… open 'em up!"

Weiss flung her eyes open… and was both surprised and confused to say the least. There, nestled in Rex's hands, was a light blue and white luchadora mask. It was almost similar to Buena Girl's own mask with the eye patterns, but the immediate detail she noticed were the white snowflakes on the sides of it, which went with her aesthetic. Finally, she was able to utter out an; "O-Oh! That's… definitely unexpected."

Once again, Rex's hand went to his neck apprehensively. "Y-Yeah, I kinda immediately thought of you when I saw it at the souvenir stand. B-But hey, it's made of the same exact stuff that most luchadores use for their real masks. So… do you like it?"

"I-I love it!" Weiss said as she reached out and grabbed the mask, a genuine smile coming to her face. "Rex, you're so thoughtful!"

"W-Wait, really?" The EVO was surprised to say the least. At first, he had been confident about giving her this gift the moment he bought it for her, but the second he realized that her feelings toward masked wrestling were somewhat mixed, he couldn't help but feel like he had made a big mistake. "I-I thought you wouldn't like it…"

"Rex, you're such a worry-wart." Weiss said with an eye-roll, pulling her boyfriend into another hug. "You saw this and got it for me on impulse, so a part of you knew that there was a chance that I would like it." She gave him a wink and pecked him on the cheek. "Well, you thought right."

Rex's cheeks flushed a bright red again, though at the same time, he felt his fears being washed away. "Hah, I'm glad that's the case, then…"

The couple stood there in each other's arms for a few moments more… before a chorus of voices shocked them out of their stupor. "AWW!" Weiss' eyes widened in horror as both her and Rex snapped their heads around to see Ruby, Yang and Blake all dressed and standing in the doorway, the two sisters practically gushing over the scene before them while Blake simply smirked knowingly with her arms crossed. "Oh my gosh, Yang, are you seeing this?" Ruby asked.

"I sure am, sis!" Yang said as she also smirked and leaned up against the door frame. "Guess we caught a couple of early-morning lovebirds exchanging gifts."

Weiss's face heated up and she quickly tried to hide her precious gift. "U-Uh, we can explain!"

"Weiss, come on." Blake shook her head. "We've all already seen it, so there's no use in hiding it. It IS a nice mask, though, I'll say that."

The white-haired girl pouted as she pulled the mask back out. "Hah, yeah, I guess it's too late now. …But thank you, it really IS a nice mask."

"I'll say!" Ruby said excitedly before rushing back into her room to grab a small mirror. She then came back and immediately came up to her best friend in excitement. "C'mon, let's see what you look like with it on!"

"O-Oh, I don't think that's really…" Weiss trailed off when she saw Ruby's demeanor immediately sadden, her shoulders slumping as her head craned down a bit. Weiss glanced over to Rex and her other teammates only to be met with more pleading gazes, leading her to sigh and relent. "Ugh, okay, but only once." She unlaced the mask as Ruby brightened back up again. "I'm going to be putting this on display only when I get back home."

"YAY!" Ruby cheered as Weiss slipped the mask on, keeping her long ponytail free. If possible, Ruby's grin only widened at the sight. "Ah! Weiss, you look so cool!"

Yang nodded wholeheartedly. "Yeah, Weiss-cream, you look ready to kick some ass!"

Ruby held the mirror up to Weiss, and she had to admit, there was a part of her that felt rather… powerful with this mask on. "Hm… well, I WILL say that I do make this mask work wonders."

Rex gave her a small nudge with his elbow. "Heh, yeah, now all ya need is some matching ring gear and you'd be ready to run the ropes!"

"Now, now, let's not get too crazy." Weiss reached up and pulled her mask off, taking in a breath as she folded the garment up. "After all, I'm more of a swordfighter than a grappler, and you all know that."

"Yeah, but the mask still suits you well." Blake reminded. "So, what's on our agenda for the day?"

"Isn't that the million-dollar question, huh?" The group all set their sights back down the hall just in time to see the Alien Trio come walking up to them, with Ben giving them all a wave. "Morning, guys!" The hero then went up to Yang and they met with a quick kiss on the lips. "And how are you doing this morning, Goldie Locks?"

"Hmhm, really good, Green Boy." Yang replied with a wink. "So, what ARE our plans for the day?"

The Omnitrix bearer crossed his arms, his grin unwavering as he shrugged his shoulders. "Heh, well, here's the thing; there's actually a TON of stuff that we all could do and see down here in Mexico. Honestly, it's a tough choice to decide what to do first…" His sights then went to Rex and he extended a hand to him, clasping him on the shoulder. "Fortunately, we DO have a pretty good tour guide here, so I have no doubt that he'll be able to show us around."

Rex pointed to his friend and nodded assuredly. "Oh, you'd be right, mi amigo. And don't worry, I got you guys ALL covered. That said, I don't know if we'll be able to cover the ENTIRETY of Mexico in just one day."

Gwen put a hand to her chin in thought. "Yeah, you're right. We spent most of yesterday god hunting that we probably should've considered adding an extra day to our weekend."

"Eh, maybe, but Six probably would've gotten pissy with us about it." Kevin pointed out.

"That, I will not argue." Rex concurred. "But for now, I think we should make the most of our time here. So, how about this; we all split up and head to different parts of Mexico to see the different sights, then we all meet back up in the afternoon and take our planned trip to Cancun for some beach time."

Weiss' eyes instantly lit up at that. "Ooh, I love the way you think, Robo-dolt. Let's go with that!"

Instantly, Gwen went over to Blake and nudged her with her elbow. "Hey lady, I know you were a bit upset yesterday about being left out on the trip to the library…" She sent her friend a knowing wink. "So maybe you'd like to head over there and find a little tea shop afterward for some lunch?"

"…You know, I knew that there was a reason why you're one of my best friends." Blake said as she returned the nudge, with both girls laughing in amusement. "I'll take you up on that offer, Gwen. Heck, maybe I'll ask Sun and Ilia to come along too, we haven't had a good hang-out in a while."

"Oh sure, bring them along." Gwen agreed instantly. "The more the merrier." Her attention then went to her boyfriend and she placed a hand on his arm. "Kevin, do you think you could possibly take Team JNPR somewhere nice, too? I'm sure they'd appreciate it."

"You got it, babe." Kevin winked before putting an arm around her. "You guys need a lift to the library?"

"Nah, we can find our way there." Gwen procured her cellphone and pulled up a map of the city. "I've got a GPS that we can follow to the library no problem. We'll be fine."

Ben scanned his eyes over Yang, Ruby, Weiss and Rex next. "Well, as for us, I think we should head back to Mexico City. Plenty of sights to see over there that we didn't get the chance to last night, after all."

Ruby raised her hand quickly. "I'd be down for that! …If we can bring Penny and Neptune there, too, of course." The silver-eyed girl received a series of surprised faces at her remark, and she had a feeling that it wasn't because she had mentioned Penny. "Well, think about it; if Blake wants to take Sun to the library, I doubt that Neptune's gonna want to spend the day there." She then lightly whispered; "Something tells me he's not much of a book guy."

The teens all got a little chuckle out of that before Ben nodded. "Hehe, you make a good point, Ruby. Alright, Neptune can come with if he wants."

"And as for me and Team JNPR, we'll think of somethin'." Kevin pulled out his own cellphone and began searching up sightseeing spots in Mexico. "Just gotta do some research…" But then, his eyebrows rose up when he remembered; "Wait, what about Coop and Team CFVY?"

"Am I glad you asked, Levin!" Once again, the whole group did a double take and spun around… and they were met with quite the sight indeed. There, standing before them in bathing suits… were Coco, Velvet, Cooper, Fox and Yatsu. All five of them were indeed donned in bathing suits right in the middle of the hallway, with Cooper in a set of purple trunks, Fox in red, and Yatsu in olive green. Coco meanwhile was wearing a chocolate brown bikini while Velvet had on a lighter brown two-piece bathing suit. The guys and Velvet wearing plain white tees over their torsos while both the bunny girl AND Coco had sarongs that matched their bathing suits. That said, Coco presently had nothing on over her own torso… and she was quick to shoot the others a rather snarky grin as she lowered her sunglasses at them. "'Sup, guys? Enjoying the view?"

"AAAH!" Ben, Rex and Kevin all cried out and immediately spun around, their cheeks flushing red after seeing the brunette in her rather revealing bikini. "C-Coco!" Ben blurted out. "What the hell?!"

"This is a freaking hotel!" Kevin added. "You're not supposed to go full-on in your swim gear until AFTER you've hit the beach!"

Gwen, Yang and Weiss all couldn't help but narrow their eyes at the fashionista a bit after seeing their boyfriends that flustered. "They have a point, Coco." Gwen concurred, sounding a bit more peeved than she had intended.

"Haha! Cool your jets, Red, I've got it covered." Coco reached into her beach bag and pulled out a black t-shirt of her own, slipping it on soon after. "I just HAD to get your reactions to that one before we headed out."

"Gotta admit, it was hilarious." Fox smirked with a light chuckle.

The three other boys all shook their heads as they turned back to the group of five. "More on topic, why the heck are you guys already dressed like you're headed to the beach?" Rex asked. "We're not due to head to Cancun until the afternoon."

Coco, however, raised a finger in contention. "Uh, correction, you guys aren't due in Cancun yet." She then directed her finger over to the rest of her team. "Us, on the other hand, WILL be headed to the beach." Coco slinked her arms around Cooper's own and explained; "I've made it no secret that I want my Tech Head to get some decent R&R, so I'm gonna get him on that beach if it kills me."

"She's serious, too." Cooper vouched as well. "She told me she was gonna cling to me until we get to the beach."

Yatsu pointed to the brunette. "She also made sure that all of us were awake by seven so we could be ready to head out by now."

"You guys do NOT wanna get in her way." Velvet added. "She's on a mission, I'm tellin' ya."

Gwen, Yang and Weiss couldn't help but laugh a little at the situation, their demeanors improving from just moments before. "Haha! Well, I can't argue with that, I guess." Gwen admitted.

Ben reached into his pocket and pulled out five cards, handing them over to Coco. "Well, if you're going to Cancun, you might wanna take these." The brunette took the cards in confusion as Ben explained. "Those cards are for a private beach that's reserved for Plumber agents. Grandpa Max gave them to me before we left so that we'd have a place where we could relax without people bothering us for autographs and stuff like that."

"Huh, talk about forward thinking!" Coco said with a grin. "Thanks, Ben, we'll make sure to head to the right beach… providing we can find it." Ben responded by taking out his cell phone, which Cooper did as well. The two texted one another quickly and before long, Cooper had a map to their destination, the blonde genius giving Coco a wink. "Hm, well, guess that clears that situation up. C'mon guys, let's go!"

"Right, we'll see you all later, everybody!" Cooper and Team CFVY all waved to the team as they left, the others returning the gesture.

"Yep, see ya later, guys!" Ben called back down the hall before the group of five approached the elevator, with all of them boarding it soon after. With that, the hero faced his group of friends and placed his hands to his hips with a determined grin. "Okay guys, we've got about twenty-four hours left here in Mexico…" He raised a fist up high and shouted; "You ready to make 'em count?!"

Ruby and the others cheered right back. "Heck yeah, we are!" the Hooded Huntress exclaimed. "Let's do this!"

…..

If there was one thing that Gwen, Blake, Sun and Ilia were going to do while headed toward the Mérida English Library, it was take in the sights that were all around them. For one, they passed by the city's famous cathedral along the way there, so they decided to take a few pictures outside AND inside the building once they were permitted in. And to say that the building was spectacular was an understatement, because the ladies were all enraptured by the grand building. Its interior was particularly spectacular with its mighty columns and the grand cross that was at the very end of the building.

But, once they were satisfied with their tour of the cathedral, they moved on, and what they came across next was something that Sun was VERY much into… "Hah! Would ya look at all the food?!" True to form, the group had stumbled upon a practical smorgasbord of street vendors all selling different types of food, and by what they could see, it seemed that everyone, locals and tourists alike, were literally eating up their dishes.

"Man, something tells me this must be a popular place." Ilia noted before catching a whiff of something… delectable. Immediately, her eyes widened and became a hot pink color, the same as her spots had just turned as her cheeks heated up. "O-Oh my…"

Blake also couldn't help but flush red as a very delectable and familiar scent graced her nostrils. She tried to shake it off, remembering that they were already headed toward the library… but the scent of the sea just kept calling out to her. "Ooooh… gosh darn it, why'd it have to be FISH?!"

"N-Now, Blake, control your—" WOOSH! "…self." Gwen deadpanned as she watched Blake rush right down the street, making her way right up to a seafood vendor that greeted her with a big smile.

"Ah, hola, señorita!" The merchant greeted. "How can I help you toda—"

BAM! "I'LL TAKE YOUR ENTIRE STOCK!" Blake cried as she slammed her hands on the counter, a hungry glint in her eye as she went to pull out her Plumber credit card.

"NO YOU WON'T!" Gwen admonished as she pulled the cat girl away from the vendor with a mana tether, giving an apologetic bow to the merchant. "I am SO sorry, sir." She said as Sun and Ilia attempted to calm the thrashing Blake down. "Our friend has a… VERY big love for fish and she tends to get this way when she gets a whiff of it."

"Ah-haha! It is quite alright, chica, I understand." The merchant said with a wink. "Besides, anyone who has THAT kind of passion for fish is alright in my book…" He trailed off, however, when he suddenly recognized the group. "Wait, un momento… you are the Omni-Hunters, are you not?"

Blake stopped her thrashing out of surprise while Sun uttered; "…Wow, word really gets around fast about us."

"Ha! Are you kidding?" The merchant pulled out his phone and showed the quartet a bunch of headlines featuring them on his browser. "You have been all over the news in the past week! No one can stop talking about you."

"Huh, neat." Ilia noted. "But again, sorry for our friend…"

Having been knocked out of her incensed state, Blake couldn't help but lower her head in shame. "Y-Yeah, sorry about rushing up like that. It's just whatever you have back there smells so good!"

"Haha! Well, I am certainly glad you think so!" the merchant said before reaching down and bringing up a platter of fried fish tacos, which once again got Blake's mouth watering. "Tell you what, for your enthusiasm, I will allow you all to have a sample of my cuisine. And, should you decide to return for more, I will cut you all a deal. What do you say?"

"Really?!" Blake immediately rushed up and took one of the tacos, with Gwen, Sun and Ilia all following suit. "Wow, that's so nice of you. Thank you very much."

"Yes, thank you." Gwen agreed. "But just so you know, we ARE able to pay in full."

But the merchant simply waved the notion off as Blake bit into her own taco, her eyes lighting up the moment the fish hit her tongue. "Ah, don't worry. The catch this year has been good, so I can afford it. Think of it as a way of saying "thank you" for your heroic acts. Now go on, eat!" Gwen, Sun and Ilia all followed Blake's example and took a bit into their tacos… and they had to admit, they WERE really good.

…..

Once they had made it past that little detour, the group were back on track toward the library, and in no time, they had made it to their destination. …And needless to say, Blake was a bit surprised by the exterior of the building itself. "Huh… you know, I never would've pegged this place as a library." the cat girl tilted her head. "It seems rather… bland from the outside."

"Oh, well you haven't seen the inside yet." Gwen noted as she opened the door for her Faunus friends. "C'mon in and see what you're missing."

The trio all did as Gwen asked and, immediately, they were taken aback by the rather extravagant and varied interior. The front lobby was pretty much filled with bookshelves right off the bat, and not too far away, they could also see another doorway that led to a more open-air area that had trees growing out of the floor. As they all walked through the place, though, they were met with even more books, and to say that Blake was utterly star struck was an understatement. "…I'm sorry I ever doubted this place."

"Had a feeling you would." Gwen said cheekily before seeing the same librarian that she had encountered the other day. "Oh, ma'am! Over here!"

"Hm?" The older woman craned her head over her shoulder as she set a book back on the shelf, only to smile at the sight of Gwen. "Oh, dear, you're back! And it seems you've brought some more friends!"

Gwen bowed her head politely to the woman in return. "Hello, ma'am. Yes, I brought some of my other teammates along with me today." She gestured over to Blake, though the cat girl did seem a bit unsure. "You see, my friend Blake has been wanting to check out your wonderful library."

The librarian's expression lit up with a smile as she approached the cat girl. "Is that right? Well, I would be more than happy to give you a little tour, maybe help you make a selection on which books you would like to check out?"

Slowly but surely, Blake smiled and nodded to the woman, grateful for the hospitality. "That would actually be really fantastic, thank you."

"And what about you two?" The woman shifted her gaze over to Sun and Ilia. "Are the two of you interested in any genre in particular?"

The duo couldn't help but chuckle awkwardly before Ilia answered for the both of them. "Hehe… well, we're not exactly BIG readers like Blake is, but if we come across something that piques our interest, we'll let you know."

"Good to hear! Now come, let me show you around…"

With that, the librarian took the four teens on a quick tour throughout the entire library, and Blake couldn't help but be amazed at how varied it was. Yes, there were many parts inside of the building that resembed your normal library, complete with rows upon rows of bookshelves all throughout. But there were also some rooms that appeared to be just little reading nooks that, while they did have bookshelves along the walls, appeared to be devoted mostly to reading. Blake had to admit, this was probably one of the most unique libraries she had ever been in.

By the end of the little tour, however, there was still one thing that was on her mind. "Thank you very much for the tour." she said with yet another bow before asking her question. "But I think I know for sure just what kind of books I'm searching for. Tell me, do you have any fairy tale collections in your fiction section?"

"Oh, we have SCORES of them, my dear." The librarian assured before noting something. "Though I must admit, I would've never guessed that you would be interested in fairy tales at your age."

"You'd be surprised." Blake answered simply. "So, where can I find these collections?"

However, the librarian simply waved her hand in assurance. "Oh, don't worry yourself over that, my dear. I'll find them and bring them to you." She pointed out to the open area with the trees in the floor. "You and your friends go wait out there and I'll have them to you in a jiffy, okay?"

"Oh, thank you very much." Before long, the teens were all out in the open area and the librarian had come back with several books pertaining to fairy tales and the like. There were about ten in total, which surprised Blake quite a bit as she sorted through them. She saw collections from authors such as Hans Christian Anderson, the Brother's Grimm (which she found particularly ironic), and Charles Perrault, along with a book called "Aesop's Fables", which also piqued her interest. "Hah… wow, I… didn't think there'd be so many."

Gwen picked up the collection of Hans Christian Anderson fairy tales and cracked it open. "What did I tell you? Us earthlings have quite a lot of fairy tales."

"I'll say." Ilia concurred before picking up a book called "Pinocchio" in curiosity. "So, Blake, just why ARE you doing some mass research on fairy tales."

"To see if Ben's theory holds water." the cat girl said, her face already buried in the book by the Brothers Grimm. "If he's right about most of us having some sort of fairy tale equivalent in this world, then I want to make sure of it."

Sun couldn't help but smirk a bit as he pointed over to his girlfriend. "Ah, I see where you're gettin' at, babe. Sounds like a pretty awesome way to spend the day…" The monkey boy trailed off as he glanced around the pile of books… only for a group of four of them to catch his eye. They were all paperbacked and in different colors; red, purple, blue and green, all with different images on their covers. However, the title of all the books were the same, and each of them had a corresponding number on their spine to indicate which order they were to be read in. Sun picked up the first book, the red one, and read the title out loud; "…"The Journey to the West", huh?"

"Ooh, I was hoping you would notice that book, young man." the librarian piped up from behind them, catching their attention as she pointed to Sun's tail. "I noticed your rather unique trait there and I thought that particular tale would catch your interest. Have fun reading, kids!"

As the librarian went off, though, Sun couldn't help but ask; "Wait… so what's it about?"

Gwen, however, wore a knowing smirk as she gave a small chuckle. "Why, it's the book that has the main character that shares your name, Sun." She sent him a small wink. "Guess now's your chance to really get a feel for the mischievous Monkey King."

"Huh! No way!" Sun smiled as he set his sights down to the book, now definitely quite curious as to what exactly would happen within the pages of this particular book. "Well, count me in on that action, then!" He opened up the book and went right to the first chapter. "Let's get started, guys!"

"Hehe, best of luck, Sun." Gwen cheekily laughed. "Because including those three other books, The Journey to the West is literally two-thousand pages long."

THUNK! Immediately, Sun's head went to the desk, his eyes wide at what he had just done. "…I think I've made a terrible mistake." His statement was only reinforced by the ladies laughing at his misfortune, but thankfully Blake still put a tender hand to his shoulder, reassuring him it was nothing personal. And while he already knew that, the gesture was all he needed to get back up and grab the book. "Ah well, I've dug this hole for myself so better get crackin'."

…..

Meanwhile, many miles away in Mexico City, the rest of the team had split up across the massive metropolis to cover more ground and see all of the awesome sights in a timely manner. Granted, Rex wanted to comb pretty much the entire city together to see all the sights at once, but given that would've taken them FAR past noon when they had to be at Cancun, he begrudgingly accepted that wouldn't be the case. "Remind me to bring you all BACK here sometime so we can get an actual tour of the city." the EVO had said before both groups split up.

And with that, Kevin had taken Team JNPR with him while Ben and Rex had taken everyone, though both groups ended up starting their tours relatively close to one another near the historical epicenter of the city. The Osmosian in particular had taken Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora and Ren to the large, domed building that they had seen when they flew in the night before, which actually just so happened to be the Palace of the Fine Arts. Now, admittedly, a place like this wasn't exactly Kevin's speed, but Team JNPR had unanimously agreed that they wanted to go, so he wasn't about to deny them.

Following their arrival, they all did a little walkthrough of the entire building, taking in every bit of art the place had to offer. And judging by all of the extravagant pieces inside of the place, from paintings, to murals, to sculptures to even photographs, Kevin could only come to one conclusion; "Man, this stuff must be worth a freaking fortune… also, there's a LOT more naked women in this place than I would've thought."

Pyrrha deadpanned at that, though she could not deny it either. There were a LOT of lady parts on display in these paintings. "VERY mature, Kevin."

"Hey, I'm just speakin' the truth." Kevin raised his hand in defense. "Besides, you should be proud of your boyfriend, he hasn't glanced at a single one of those nudie paintings since we got here."

The Invincible Girl was surprised by this and she faced her boyfriend… only to see him covering his eyes as they went past a particularly prominent painting with a woman's chest on full display. She couldn't help but smile and roll her eyes before reaching up and grasping Jaune's hands. "Jaune, you know they aren't real, right?"

"Don't care, I still think it's rude." Jaune muttered.

"HA! Jaune, you're a doof." Nora guffawed. "But a very polite doof, so I can respect that." She then promptly went back to gazing at the painting, wearing a sly grin as she jerked her thumb toward the naked lady. "I, on the other hand, can recognize a great rack when I see it, so…"

"Nora!" Ren blushed as a family walked by them, the mother shielding her children's own eyes. "There are children present!"

Nora sighed and rolled her eyes as the group continued on their tour. "Ugh, fine… killjoy."

"I kill joy because I care." Ren countered.

"Yeah, I guess…" Nora trailed off as her smirk returned, brushing her arm against Ren's own as they walked. "Buuut… you could show me that you care in OTHER ways too, ya know?"

Ren's body stiffened up. It was all he could do to keep bending his legs as he walked. "W-W-What do you mean?"

Nora gave him a wink in response. "I'll tell you later… at the beach, okay?"

Behind the duo, though, Kevin, Jaune and Pyrrha couldn't help but chuckle and shake their heads. "Hehe, those two…" the Osmosian glanced over to the couple next to him. "Do you think they'll EVER get their feelings off their chests?" he whispered.

"I honestly think they both already know." Jaune admitted. "It's just that there's still lots of things holding them back."

"Ren's still far too nervous to say or make any romantic advances toward Nora." Pyrrha continued. "And Nora, while I'm sure she knows what do say, just can't seem to find the perfect time to say it." The redhead sighed and sent a worried gaze over to the duo. "I wish we could help them in some way…"

"Yeah, romance is more Gwen's forte than mine." Kevin shrugged. "Maybe you guys should have a little council with her when you get back home."

Jaune nodded at that. "Yeah, maybe—WOAH!" The blonde knight suddenly almost tripped thanks to a gaggle of kids suddenly stampeding past him, though Pyrrha managed to catch him before he fell. Right after the kids stormed past them, though, he saw the two kids that were with the family earlier running by as well, though they were lagging behind a bit. "H-Huh? Hey, what's going on?"

Hearing his question, the two kids spun around excitedly. "Didn't you hear? There's a woman in the museum giving an art presentation!" the little boy explained.

"We heard she specializes in weaving tapestries." His older sister replied. "And get this; she's brought her own loom… AND she's got an owl with her!"

That last part took Kevin and Team JNPR by surprise as the two kids continued on their way. "Wait, an owl?" Kevin questioned. "Are those even allowed in here?"

"Pretty sure I saw a "no pets allowed" sign out front." Ren noted.

"Perhaps she just has special clearance for the owl?" Pyrrha guessed before pressing onward, following after the group of children. "Come on, let's go see for ourselves. Besides, a demonstration on weaving tapestries sounds fascinating."

And so, the teens all tailed the kids before arriving at a rather spacious room that had a few paintings within, but nothing much else. There was already a sizeable audience of both kids and adults alike in the room as well, but thankfully none of them blocked the view of the woman herself. Neither Kevin, Pyrrha or the rest of Team JNPR could see her features as she was facing away from them, but she was dutifully working at the rather large loom that was in the very center of the room, weaving multiple colorful fabrics together to form what everyone could see was a rather gorgeous tapestry of a grove of olive trees.

…Also, yes, she had an owl on a tall perch sitting next to her. It was a Great Horned Owl, emphasis on the "Great" since it was probably one of the biggest owls any of them had ever seen. "Damn, would ya look at the size of THAT hooter?" Kevin quipped before being elbowed by Pyrrha. "OW! Hey, only Gwen can do that."

"As her best friend, I am serving as her substitute." Pyrrha lightly snapped back before concentrating back on the talented seamstress weave her piece.

As she weaved, the woman spoke to the audience, and she had a very noticeable foreign accent to her voice. "And thus, the fabric and the colors should all come together to form one cohesive whole." After that, she finished off the freshly finished tapestry and presented it to the crowd, turning around toward the team in the process. "Ta-da!"

But, when she turned to the audience, the five Omni-Hunters were left stunned, letting out a collective gasp. This woman… had nearly an exact resemblance to Pyrrha. It was almost scary how much they looked like one another, right down to the fact that they had the same emerald green eyes. The only big difference between them was their hair color, with the woman's being a dark black in contrast to Pyrrha's fiery red.

As the audience applauded the woman's creative piece, she took a bow and smiled out to all of them. "Yes, yes, thank you all so much, you are too kind!" She then reached down and put on a heavy leather glove before extending her hand over to the owl. The great bird hobbled onto her hand and she presented it to the children in particular. "Now, would anyone like to come up and give pets to Aristotle?"

The kids all eagerly cheered while the Omni-Hunters just stared at the woman in disbelief for moments on end. Finally, though, Nora found her voice. "P-Pyrrha, she… she looks like you!"

"She actually could pass for your mom, honestly." Jaune pointed out.

"Yes, she… she really could." Pyrrha agreed, the seamstress actually heavily resembling her mother. After a few more seconds, Pyrrha pursed her lips and a determined expression came to her face. "This should be interesting…"

Before anyone could do anything, the Invincible Girl stepped forward, making her way up to the woman and group of children. "Wait, Pyrrha?" Ren questioned. "Maybe we should wait until—"

"Excuse me!"

"Oh no…"

At Pyrrha's call, the woman set her sights up to her. "Yes, how may I—" However, her voice caught in her throat the moment she laid her eyes on Pyrrha, her brows rising up in shock at the sight of the near-identical girl across from her. The audience was quick to notice this as well, and were all similarly taken aback by this development. "…Oh my."

One of the children craned their heads up to the woman and asked; "Miss? Is she your daughter?"

"N-No." the woman blushed slightly at the innocent question, though she and Pyrrha also smiled in amusement. "Although… I would not rule out ANY family ties given the circumstances."

"That's actually what I was thinking." Pyrrha placed her hands on her hips and raised a brow at her. "I'm sorry for interrupting your lovely weaving demonstration, but I just had to know…"

The woman smiled and nodded to her. "Yes, I completely understand. And believe me, after seeing you, I definitely wish to talk." But then, she gestured to the children around her. "But if it is at all possible, could we maybe speak after I am finished here? I am sure you understand."

"Oh, of course." Pyrrha bowed respectfully before pointing to her group. "My friends and I will be waiting for you down in the main hall. And thank you!" The woman nodded to them and the group all left, headed back down toward the main entrance.

…..

"Okay, so, what do we figure?" Nora asked as they waited for the woman to arrive. "Evil clone? Shapeshifter? Maybe something from the Ministry to confuse us?!"

With every suggestion the Pink Dynamo made, she popped up randomly behind her friend's backs, which was met with deadpan faces all around. Pyrrha put a stop to her and took her friend by the shoulders. "Or… maybe she's a normal human being who ISN'T in league with our enemies?"

"Psh, yeah, if you want a boring explanation."

"Sometimes the most boring reason is the real reason, Nora." Jaune shrugged. "Just gotta live with it."

Ren placed a hand to his chin. "Still, it is quite curious. Didn't think we'd EVER come across any doppelgangers of ourselves while in this universe."

Kevin chuckled as he crossed his arms, leaning up against one of the massive pillars. "Heh, yeah, surprised me too…" He trailed off the moment he saw the woman coming their way down the stairs, with her owl perched right on her shoulder. "…And here she comes now."

Pyrrha gasped and spun around, greeting the woman with a smile. "Hello again!"

"Hmhm, hello to you as well!" the woman greeted, her accent bubbly as she spoke.

"Okay, so right off the bat." Kevin pointed to the woman. "You're… Greek, I wanna say?"

The woman's eyebrows rose up, pleasantly surprised by the observation. "Oh, how astute! Indeed, I am from Greece, though I travel around a lot to promote my art." She placed a hand over her chest and bowed her head. "With that said, allow me to introduce myself; I am Althea Pallas." She craned her head around and cuddled the massive predatory bird on her shoulder. "And THIS is Aristotle. He is a good bird."

"I'm sure he is." Pyrrha agreed as she pet the bird's feathers, receiving a satisfied "Hoo!" in response. "My name is Pyrrha. Pyrrha Nikos."

Althea's eyebrows rose up. "Pyrrha, is it? Oh my, a very Greek name as well. Perhaps we COULD be related?"

"Heh, well, not likely, actually. You see…" What followed was Pyrrha giving a brief explanation about who she and the rest of her friends actually were, as well as their relationship with the Omni-Hunters and the like. By the end, Althea was left speechless as Pyrrha let out a relaxing breath, thankful that she had gotten that explanation out as quick as possible. "And that's basically it. Essentially, you resemble my mother almost to a T and I believe you might be a sort of doppelganger."

After a few more seconds of silence, Althea let the revelation settle in and she nodded in understanding. "Hm… yes, that definitely IS a possible explanation, dear Pyrrha. Tell me… what was your mother's name again?"

"Athena." Pyrrha smiled. "Which is also surprising since your names are also very similar."

A slight glint appeared in Althea's eye, and a grin curled to her lips. "…Really, now? Well, that IS certainly quite the coincidence, I will say." In her head, though, she added; 'And whether you know it or not, child, your mother and I have more in common than you think…' She mulled it over for a moment before an idea sprang to her head. "Tell you what! Why don't we talk more over lunch, hm? My treat?"

"And that's ALL I need to hear!" Nora piped up. "I've been starving for the past half-an-hour now!"

"Nora, weren't you just saying how she could be some sort of spy a few minutes ago?" Ren deadpanned.

But Nora just scoffed and waved to her best friend. "Psh, I was a dummy then. But seeing as she's obviously really nice and offering us food, how can I say no?" Ren facepalmed at that, leading everyone to laugh at the green ninja's exasperation.

"Haha, you all must be one entertaining group." Althea mused before ushering them to follow her. "Come, there is a taco stand not too far away. I am sure that we can find you all something to eat." As she led the group from the museum and back outside, however, a stray thought crossed Althea's mind, all as she glanced toward Pyrrha out the corner of her eye. 'My, my… quite the coincidence indeed…'

…..

Not too far away, another group of heroes were also getting some lunch of their own, though rather than getting it at a taco stand, they were getting theirs at a different kind of vendor...

The group of Ben, Rex, Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Penny and Neptune had all moved on from the more historical part of the city, having taken a small visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral and steadily working their way out. But, along the way, Ruby and many others had felt their stomachs grumble when they passed through one of the city's street markets. "Ugh… are you kidding me?" Ruby moped as she hung her head low. "Do we have to go through here? It's just reminding me how hungry I am."

"Indeed, the hotel's breakfast servings weren't nearly as wide in variety as its lunch buffet." Penny added.

Yang groaned as she leaned back, feeling dejected. "Don't remind me, Pen. That breakfast was pathetic compared to what we usually eat."

"I blame the constant stream of pancakes." Neptune said with an eyeroll. "We've kinda been spoiled."

However, Rex was quick to come up with a solution the moment a certain scent hit his nose. He recognized the smell of toasted tortillas, freshly baked beans and melting cheese anywhere. "Don't worry, mi amigos!" The EVO pounded a fist to his chest confidently. "Rex has got ya covered! Follow me!" Without even explaining any further, Rex dashed down the street, leaving his companions surprised and confused.

"R-Rex, wait!" Weiss shouted as she and the others started after him. In her mind, however, Weiss took this as a hopeful sign. 'If Rex's taste in Mexican cuisine is anything to go by, he MUST be leading us to one of the best restaurants ever!' she thought giddily. Before long, they had managed to catch up, and once Rex came to a sudden halt, they were forced to do so as well. "Alright, Rex, just where is it that you're… taking us?"

The former heiress' confusion only increased when she saw where Rex had led all of them, and it was definitely not what she had expected. She could only stare in shock at what was standing before them, because rather than the genuine Mexican restaurant that she was expecting, instead, they were now… in front of a large food truck. There was a decently sized line right out front and the vendors inside of the truck were serving up tacos, burritos and other dishes of the sort. Rex then spun around and spread his arms out. "Guys, welcome to one of the most genuine Mexican food experiences you can find!"

"…It's a truck." Weiss uttered.

"Yes! One that makes deliciosotacos." Rex emphasized. "You'll find these things all around the world, and all of them have some top product. But here in Mexico, this is pretty much as genuine as you can get…" Rex watched on as the line whittled down and the window on the truck closed, after which he gave his friends a wink. "Watch this…"

The EVO went over and then knocked on the side of the van… to which the vendor opened the window and stuck his head out. And he seemed to have an annoyed expression. "Órale, vato, what you want?"

"Hey, jefe! Could I get some…" From there, Rex ended up ordering quite a bunch of items on the menu, seemingly surprising even the vendor before concluding his order. "You got all that, chief?"

"Heh, yeah, I got it man." The man said as he wrote the order down on a slip. "But don't come cryin' to me when your ass melts after this."

"HA! Well, I won't be eating ALL of it." Rex jabbed a thumb back to his friends behind him. "I'm just ordering lunch for my friends." He held his hand up and whispered. "It's their first time at a taco truck."

The vendor glanced up and saw the teens, his eyes narrowing before nodding his head. "Ah, si, they look like first-timers. Your order'll be a while, just so you know."

Rex waved him off assumingly. "Ah, no te preocupes, my guy, we'll find something to do. And thanks again." The vendor made a sort-of scoffing sound before disappearing back in his truck, leaving everyone else outside by themselves again. "So, lunch should be ready in a little bit."

Ben scratched his head, though couldn't help the slight smile on his face. He'd never been to a taco truck before, so he knew this would be quite the experience. "Heh, thanks Rex."

"Uh, am I the ONLY one who thinks this is a bit sketchy?" Weiss questioned. "I mean, getting food from a truck? Doesn't that sound a bit unsanitary?"

"Oh, Ice Princess, you have NO idea how well-kept most taco trucks are." Rex assured. "And trust me, I could tell just by the smell coming from inside that this is one of the better kept ones."

Ruby felt compelled to agree. "I have to admit, I DID really like the smell that came out of there." She gave a hopeful smile to her partner. "Maybe it won't be so bad! You know the old phrase; don't knock it till you try it."

"Yeah, Weiss-cream." Yang shrugged. "What could be the harm?"

Weiss crossed her arms and pursed her lips a bit, knowing that this argument wouldn't be getting anywhere. She scanned her eyes around the area a bit before noticing something that she had failed to notice when they had walked up. Not too far away from where they were, there was a small fortune-teller's tent set up, and immediately, her interest was garnered. "Ooh, well, I think I just found something interesting for us to do while we wait…"

"Huh, what do you—oh god." Neptune facepalmed the moment he saw the fortune-teller tent. "Weiss, you can't be serious!"

"Uh, yeah, I kinda gotta agree with Neptune on this one." Ben interjected. "Getting your fortune told is kind of a scam, and I'm sure that Gwen would agree with me if she were here."

However, the sight of the tent also had the other girls intrigued. "Aw, c'mon Green Boy." Yang pleaded as she reached for her boyfriend's hand. "It won't hurt ya to have a little fun with it, right? Besides, it's not really something to take seriously anyway."

Penny nodded and began running the statistics in her processor. "Indeed, after all, the likeliness of a fortune-teller accurately predicting your ACTUAL future is approximately one-in-ten. So there is no real need to worry about something like that."

"Exactly." Weiss went up and wrapped her arm around Rex's ushering him toward the tent as well. "C'mon, Robo-dolt it'll be fun!" The white-haired girl raised a knowing brow at him. "Besides, if you're ordering food from a truck, you can at least indulge me a bit, too, right?"

"…Well, you've got a point there. Alright, let's do it." Rex relented, with Ben and Neptune sighing in defeat. "I just hope you know what you're doing, Ice Princess." With that, the group of seven all entered the tent, though they were surprised to find… no one there. They all scanned around the room before Rex saw a bell hanging on a nearby pole and rang it. DING-DING-DING! "Uh, hola? Anyone here?"

"¡Un momento, por favor!" A female voice responded from the back curtain. "I will be right out!" Confusingly enough, though, the voice caught both Rex and Weiss off guard. They both very much recognized the voice, but for the life of them, they couldn't figure out who it belonged to. …At least, not until the woman stepped out from the back. Everyone's eyes immediately widened as a powerful sensation overcame each and every one of them. The fortune-teller standing across from them… was quite possibly one of the most gorgeous women that they had ever seen in their lives. But more importantly, although she was wearing an extravagant purple dress rather than what they saw her in the last time they had encountered her… Rex and Weiss had actually seen this woman before.

"ADONIA?!" the couple exclaimed.

Adonia's eyes widened as well and she let out a gasp. "AH! ¡Aye dios mio! It's you two!" The young, beautiful Latina clapped her hands together and a big smile came to her features. "My goodness, what a nice surprise! Just what in the world are you two doing here?!"

"We could ask the same about you!" Weiss countered. "I thought you were a waitress at a Mexican restaurant, what're you doing in Mexico City?!"

Adonia simply blushed and waved her hand at the former heiress. "Ah-haha! Oh, mija, that is my "real" job. Whenever I come down to Mexico to visit mi familia, I have this little hobby on the side." She gave Weiss a wink, inadvertently making her and everyone else in the room blush. "After all, being a waitress cannot be the ONLY thing that pays the bills, you know." She set her gaze out to the others next. "So, I take it that these must be your friends?"

It was then that everyone managed to snap out of their stupor, their minds breaking away from the sheer gorgeousness of the woman in front of them in order to introduce themselves. One by one, Ruby, Neptune, Penny, Ben and Yang all introduced themselves to Adonia, and she gave them all a polite bow in greeting. "Well, it is certainly very nice to meet you all. So, to what do I owe the pleasure of you coming here today?"

"W-Well, Miss Adonia, we were hoping to get our fortunes read while we wait for lunch." Ruby sheepishly explained.

"Ah, excellente!" Adonia clapped her hands together and eagerly went over to her desk, which had two chairs with one on either side. "I was hoping I would get some customers soon. It's been a rather slow day…" She sat down and encouraged the others to follow suit. "Well, come now, do not be shy! Who wants to go first?"

In truth, though, the whole group couldn't help but be secretly bashful of the woman before them, all of them slightly nervous to approach her. …At least, all aside from one of them. "Ha! Well, don't mind if I do, Miss Adonia." Neptune said confidently while slicking his hair back.

The girls all immediately rolled their eyes as Neptune went to sit down. "Oh boy, here we go." Yang muttered.

"Ah, very good, Neptune. Please, have a seat and let me see your palm…" The blue-haired boy gladly obliged before Adonia added something. "Oh, and just so you know, I specialize in relationships, so I will likely have a prediction about your love life. Is that alright?"

"Oh, MORE than alright." Neptune assured. "A single bachelor like me is ALWAYS in the mood for good news on that front."

"I see, well, you certainly seem confident…" Adonia reached for Neptune's hand and began tracing her fingers along his palm, reading all of the finer details in his hand. "Tell me, Neptune, have you ever been in a relationship before?"

Neptune wore a big grin, his chest puffing out a bit as he gave his answer. "Oh, totally. I've gone on dates with plenty girls before." He nudged his head toward Weiss. "Heck, I even went out with Weiss a couple times. Of course, we didn't end up working out, but we had a fun time while it lasted, right Weiss?" He craned his head around to the white-haired girl… only to be met with an unamused expression.

Weiss crossed her arms and raised a brow to him. "Oh yeah, we did… right up until you made eyes at another girl. And in the middle of an important tournament, no less."

All at once, his group of friends all sent their own unimpressed gazes to Neptune before Adonia spoke up. "…I see." Her voice had gone from kind to dangerously low, which Neptune had taken as not a good sign. He turned to her again and was taken aback by how serious she was at the moment, feeling his gut drop at her icy cold stare. "Neptune… you DO know that is far from alright, claro?

Neptune's nervousness was rising several times a second as everyone's sights were glued to him, but he gulped down his fear and lowered his head in shame. "…Y-Yes. I-I definitely do now. And I know I really shouldn't have done that in the first place. It's just…"

"You have self-esteem issues." Adonia finishing that sentence for him took everyone aback, seeing that the woman was concentrated now on his hand. "And as a result, you crave recognition from those around you, including women." She furrowed her brow toward him and shook her head. "However, that is still not a good excuse for what you have done. And if you continue down this path of being a flirt, you will never find true companionship."

The blood drained from Neptune's face at that. "O-Oh god… Adonia, I promise you that I've learned from my mistake, really, I have."

"Then I suggest you apply what you have learned right away…" Adonia continued reading his palm. "Otherwise, the one you DO have true feelings for will slip away from you." This took the entire room by surprise, not just Neptune, and it was there that Adonia's lips curled into a smile. "Hm, you do have your eye on someone, don't you?"

"I-I… yes, I do." Neptune admitted, his head moving downward again. "But… I just really don't know how to go about it. She and I… we're so different. I don't even know if she'd be into a guy like me or if she's in a relationship already, or anything like that." He took a deep breath and concluded with; "The truth is… I'm scared."

"Everyone is afraid of these things, mijo, especially when it comes to matters of the heart." Adonia said with an assuring grin. "However, when it comes right down to it, only you can find out if you take that big step." She reached out and clasped her hands around Neptune's own with an encouraging nod. "My advice to you is to take things slow with her, see if you and her are truly compatible. And then, once you are sure of it, take a deep breath and then take the plunge."

The two had locked eyes for a good couple of seconds, and in that time, Neptune let Adonia's advice sink into his mind. The blue-haired boy could feel his own smile return and he gave the woman a thankful nod back. "Thank you, Adonia. That definitely helped me get a better perspective on things. I'll try my best."

"And I wish you luck, Neptune." Adonia said before letting go of his hands. "Now, I believe that some of your friends would like a turn?"

Neptune quickly got up, though not before thanking Adonia again, before shuffling back toward the others, who were actually all smiling at him now. "Neptune!" Ruby and Penny zipped up to him with bright smiles of their own, both girls bouncing in excitement. "Why didn't you TELL us that you had your eye on someone?!" Ruby asked as she playfully shoved the blue-haired boy's shoulder.

"We would have gladly helped you." Penny added. "And I am sure Gwen must have an idea or two up her sleeve for you as well!"

"Heh, thanks gals." Neptune blushed. "But I honestly think that this is something that I've gotta handle on my own."

Ruby and Penny both let out disappointed "aw's" before the Hooded Huntress gave him a wink. "Well, in case you ever DO want help, you know where to find us! Now, if you'll excuse me…" Ruby spun around on her heel and rushed right into the chair, leaving some petals in her wake. "I wanna go next, Miss Adonia!" she said as she offered her hand.

"Haha, excellent, Miss Ruby…" Adonia reached out and began reading Ruby's palm, and before long, she became quite intrigued. "Oh my… well, Ruby, from this I can definitely tell that you are going to experience some very interesting events in your life." The beautiful woman smiled happily toward Ruby. "And I believe that love may not be far off for you, young lady."

Both Ruby and Penny gasped at this before they simultaneously squealed in delight, forcing the others to cover their ears. "AAAAAH! Really?! Are you sure?"

"Positive…" Adonia kept reading Ruby's palm… but then her face fell a bit in uncertainty. "That said, while I can see that you and this person will be happy, you will have many bumps in the road that you will have to overcome."

And just like that, the corners of Ruby's mouth fell into a frown. "Aw… really?"

"No one ever said that love is easy, mija. Sometimes it can be, but other times, it is not." Adonia reached out and gave Ruby's hand a reassuring squeeze. "If I were to offer any advice to you, it would be to hold onto this person and never let go. These trials will be challenging for the both of you, but if you stick together through them, then you will be able to overcome." The fortune-teller gave one last smile to Ruby and sent her a wink. "I have faith in you,Ruby."

After a long pause, Ruby sent a small grin back to Adonia in gratitude. "Thank you, Miss Adonia. I'll remember that." With those words, Ruby stood up and took a breath before offering Penny the chair. "Alright, Penny, your turn!"

"Oh, very well then!" Penny happily accepted, though she gave her best friend a supportive side-hug before she took the seat. "And worry not, I will help you in any way I can with whoever you end up meeting." Ruby gave Penny her thanks before the redheaded android sat down, offering her hand to Adonia. "Tell me, how is it that you are able to see into someone's future simply by staring at their hand?"

"Hmhm, it's all about the finer details, dear Penny." Adonia explained before getting to work reading Penny's palm. "After all, the creases in your hand tell a lot about you, for instance…" Adonia's eyebrows rose up once she had read Penny's hand though, seemingly surprised. "Oh my…"

Everyone grew concerned as Penny simply tilted her head. "What is it?"

"Your love life will be an… interesting and complex one, to say the least, mija." While taken aback for a moment, Adonia still pressed on, intrigued by what she was seeing. "I can tell that you still have a lot to learn about love yourself…"

Penny put a finger to her chin in thought. "True, I have had absolutely no experience with close relationships. I find myself attracted to boys, yes, but I do not have experience in the realm of… "romance"."

"Hm… and that is where the difficulties lie… because the same can possibly be said about your future partner." Once more, everyone wore stunned faces, with Penny now sporting one as well. "My advice for you is… that when you find this person, you should learn from one another. Like your friend's, your relationship may not be an easy one, but if you and this person work together…" Adonia's grin returned as she pat the back of Penny's hand. "Then I believe that things will work out fine for the both of you."

"I see." Penny affirmed before promptly standing up. "Thank you very much for the advice, Adonia. I will be certain to keep it in mind."

The beautiful fortune-teller gave the android a final nod before she went off. "I would hope so, Penny. And best of luck to you." With that, however, Adonia reached her arms out and ushered for Ben, Yang, Rex and Weiss to come closer. "Now, for the happy young couples! Come closer, por favor!"

Yang and Weiss excitedly pulled Ben and Rex closer to Adonia's table, though both boys were still uncertain about all of this. "So, what, are you going to read ALL of our hands now?" Rex asked.

"Oh, no, no, no, darling. Of course, I wouldn't do that for all of you…" The woman reached under her table and pulled out a set of Tarot cards, shuffling them up with an eager grin. "For established couples, I like to pull out something a little different."

Ben and Rex couldn't help but slightly wince at that. "Oh boy, here we go." the Omnitrix bearer commented.

"Ah, c'mon, Green Boy." Yang nudged her boyfriend's elbow as Adonia closed her eyes and began focusing, picking out several cards from the deck as she hummed a tune to herself. "Honestly, Adonia's readings have been pretty cool so far…" At the same time, though, Yang couldn't help but grimace slightly. "Granted, still unsure about Ruby's deal, but hey, I'll get to that whenever that actually happens…"

"Psh, you're such an overprotective sister." Weiss said with an eyeroll. "Ruby's a big girl, she can take care of herself."

"Well, yeah, but—"

"Shush!" The four teens all snapped at attention as Adonia raised her hand, with several tarot cards now lining the table in different patterns. They were in two groups; one on Rex and Weiss' side and a set that was nearer to Yang and Ben. "Now, let us see what the fates have in store for you, hm?" She set her sights toward Weiss and Rex first and flipped the first card. "Oh, so you two have only recently entered your relationship… and yet still, your feelings for each other grow by the day." Adonia saw the two blush a bit before flipping the next card. "Hm… I see a bit of difficulty for the both of you along the way, though. Trials and tribulations are sure to follow you…" Rex and Weiss' expressions faltered at that, their worry quite evident as she flipped the final card. "But… it would seem that the two of you are fated to have a prosperous relationship all the same. Your path to true happiness will be hard, but in the end, you will come out all the better for it."

Simultaneously, both Rex and Weiss sighed as they supported each other in their arms. "Oh… thank goodness." The former heiress said in relief.

"Yeah, I might not buy into this one-hundred percent, but I'm just glad we DON'T get killed or anything…" Rex admitted.

Adonia chuckled a little bit before going to Ben and Yang. "And now for you two…" She flipped the first card and immediately, her eyebrows shot up again. "Oh my… you two have only been together for about a month now, and already, you are so close. In fact, you have rarely left one another's side." She sent them a sly smirk. "I can only guess that it was love at first sight."

Ben and Yang felt their cheeks heat up at the insinuation. "Well… kind of." Ben admitted.

"The way we met was pretty memorable, to say the least." Yang clarified. "But Ben didn't ask me out until about a week or so after we had met."

"Hm, still, that is quite a fast-moving relationship." Adonia pointed out. "And yet still, you are THIS close. It's quite astonishing, and I'm very happy for the both of you…" She trailed off as she flipped another card… and immediately, her expression darkened a bit in astonishment. "…Oh my."

And just like that, the powerful couple grew concerned. "W-What?" Yang pressed. "What do you see?"

"I see… great anguish." Adonia admitted. "The cards say that the both of you will experience times of uncertainty so great that not even you will be able to comprehend it at times." As they watched Adonia flip the last card, Ben and Yang could feel their stomachs do flips as well… but a glimmer of hope came back to them the moment Adonia sighed in relief. "However, through these great tragedies, the both of you will come out stronger than ever, and your love for one another will shine brighter than it is even now."

The young couple were honestly quite surprised at the woman's prediction, the two glancing at one another before Yang uttered; "Uh… well that's pretty freakin' ominous."

"Yeah… you sure you didn't get mixed up or anything?" Ben questioned.

"The cards rarely lie, my dears." Adonia said with a shake of her head before smiling to them. "But, if there's anything to take to heart, it's that you will be happy together."

"Well, yeah, but I would prefer if we DIDN'T have a bunch of sucky stuff happen along the way." Yang said with a slight pout.

Adonia couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh at that. "My dear, you have no idea how many times I've heard that after one of my predictions. But I'll tell you the same thing I've said every single time; love is never an easy street. Sometimes it's a straight path, other times, there will be curves and maybe someone will swerve too hard in one direction." A sheepish expression came to Adonia's face as a hand went to her neck. "…And admittedly, I have often times gone too far in the name of love, whether it be for myself or in the name of others." She gave the group all one final wink. "But all the same, in the end, when a relationship goes right, it is VERY much worth it. Do not be discouraged because of what you've heard, but instead, take it as a challenge and persevere. And in the end, you'll see that it is worth the effort."

The seven teens all eyed one another, as if silently conversing among themselves before they all grinned back to Adonia. "Well… I might not be a big believer in this sort of fortune-telling myself," Ben shrugged, "but I CAN get behind what you're saying. Thanks for that, Miss Adonia. We'll make sure to remember that."

"¡Excellente!" Adonia clapped her hands together. "Best of luck to ALL of you. However, there IS one last thing…" The woman took out a small notepad and began writing something down on it before tearing it off and handing it to Rex. "The matter of the bill for these readings."

Rex took one look at the bill… and immediately felt his wallet whine in fright. "Woof, uh… alright then." The EVO took out his wallet and asked; "You take cash or credit?" He watched as Adonia reached under her table and pulled out a credit card machine, which made Rex all the more relieved. "Oh, thank god."

With that, he took out his Plumber credit card and paid the bill, which Adonia was grateful for. "Gracias, children. Thank you so much for your patronage and your visit."

"No problem, Miss Adonia!" Ruby said with a wave as the group went to exit the tent.

"Hopefully we get to see you back in the States sometime!" Weiss added before all of them went back outside.

"The feeling is mutual, my dear! Farewell!" Once the team had all left the building, though, Adonia gave a sigh as she shifted out of her disguise and into her more natural form, her skin fair while her dark hair became blonde and her chocolate brown eyes became a shimmering blue. She plopped down in her chair and smiled toward the ceiling, still feeling giddy about the encounter she just had. "Oh, those kids are going to have some interesting love lives, I can just tell." She picked up a tarot card and eyed it with a grin. "Hmhm, perhaps I should have been given the gift of prophecy… but then again, that would only pile on to dear nephew's workload…"

RRRRRING! Adonia's eyebrows rose up suddenly as a ringing began to sound off from her pocket. She reached in and pulled out what appeared to be a smartphone… cast entirely in gold. It had the word "I-Phone" engraved on it, but it looked far and away from a traditional smartphone, complete with extravagant trimming around the edges and ancient etchings in the back. And most oddly of all, the screen was colored with a rainbow hue, and on it were the words; "Insert one coin to continue."

Adonia deadpanned at this. "Ugh, stupid rainbow woman. Have to get back to her about my minutes." She took a gold coin out of her pocket and flicked it into the screen, which instantly unlocked it and allowed her to pick up. "Hello?"

"Hi, it's me." Came the response from the other end.

"Ah! Althea." The blonde woman stood up from her chair in excitement. "I was wondering when you'd be getting back to me, dear. Tell me, how's the city?"

"Things are going well, Adonia." Althea replied on the other end, though she kept her voice low. "However, I wanted to tell you… I encountered some of these children that we've been hearing about."

The beautiful woman's eyes brightened up at that. "Ah! So you did, too? Tell me, were yours just as sweet as the ones I saw?"

A small chuckle was heard from the other end. "Hmhm, yes, they were very nice. In fact, I took interest in one of them in particular—"

"Wait, let me guess, it's the redheaded warrior, right?"

"…Am I that predictable?"

"Honey, you and she share a startling resemblance, how could I NOT guess that?"

Althea sighed on the other end. "Yes, I suppose you have a point. I played that part off, by the way. Hopefully she's none the wiser…"

"Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about that, Althea." Adonia sat back in her chair as a rather excited smile coming to her lips. "After all, things down here are just getting started…"

…..

A/N: And once again, we leave off on mysterious people planning mysterious things. Never a dull moment in the lives of the Omni-Hunters, is there? Even on vacation they end up encountering strange characters, some even stranger than others. But hey, at the same time, it seems like they've all (finally) been having fun on this vacation, doesn't it? They've seen one heck of a Lucha Libre show, with Rex even getting Weiss her own Luchadora mask, which is fun. And they've also gone to several different notable spots as well like the Palace of Fine Arts and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Also, tacos. Those are DEFINITELY important when going to Mexico. It's basically required that you eat at least one when you go there, I'm sure.

But that said, seems everyone's just doing their own thing. Team CFVY went to the beach early, and Gwen and her group ended up going back to that library with Blake wanting to learn more about fairytales. Unfortunately for poor Sun, the book that HIS counterpart stars in is UNGODLY long, so that's the burden he's gonna bear. Meanwhile, of course, we had Kevin and Team JNPR going through the Palace of Fine Arts and encountering a mysterious seamstress with an owl. And Rex, Weiss and their group end up encountering a familiar face in the form of Adonia. Indeed, both of these encounters are very mysterious… and both women seem to have a connection with one another. Of course, you guys could probably see the outcome of this already, but I'm gonna let you connect the dots yourselves, hehehe…

But with all that said, NEXT TIME… well, it's the moment you've all been waiting for, folks. I've been getting TONS of requests to do this kind of chapter ever since the first volume of this story came out, and well… I think it's finally time to do something about it. Next time, it's time for a… BEACH BREAK! Thanks for reading everybody, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and I'll see you all next time! And as always, stay safe out there!
