Chapter Six: Angels, Demons, and Humans

December 30th, 2017

The Bunker

Lebanon, Kansas

Early Morning

The nightmares were getting worse. Castiel would wake up in the middle of the night, to Dean screaming beside him. As soon as he placed a hand on his Hunter, it would calm him down, and Dean would curl up to him, as if the warmth from Castiel was keeping him safe. Sam had told him about nightmares, and he knows that Jack also has them sometimes. The Nephilim really is amazing. He's half Angel, half human but extremely powerful. He can sleep, eat and dream like a normal human, but also survive with no food, no sleep and can block his dreams if he chooses. Cas has been teaching him some things, and since the death of Elika two days ago, he's been hesitant to do anything else. He doesn't want to think about The Rogues, he doesn't want anything to do with them, and he knows that Gabriel and Lucifer have it under control, and even though he doesn't trust Crowley as far as he can kick the demon King of Hell, the man has become an ally in the last couple of years. Since he stopped all Crossroad deals and made himself the 'Winchesters Bitch'. He's even grown to working with Lucifer, although that relationship is tumultuous. After Dean had woken from his nightmare, Castiel couldn't let himself go back to sleep, his mind was whirring around, thinking about everything, and his back is hurting again, his wings are painful. Carefully extracting himself from Dean, Castiel slips out of the bedroom, and makes his way into the War Room, where he stands at the table, and looks at the map they had compiled of the United States and where all the murders were. The picture of Elika hits him like a tonne of bricks, and he has to remove it to keep himself sane. The death of another Called means that there are now only three of them remaining. Marika and Mallei are both dead. The other two Called are with Gabriel and Lucifer in their safe house, and apparently the Archangels are putting 'something amazing together' that will come in the new year. Castiel doesn't know whether to be worried about what his brothers are planning, or thankful that they're the ones planning it, and if it all goes to shit, they can just blame Lucifer. After staring at the map for a while, something clicks in Castiel's mind. Marika was murdered in LA, and Elika in Cawker City, Kansas. The other two they saved were from Nebraska, and Texas. Castiel grabbed a black pen and drew a circle around Kansas on the map.

When the other occupants of The Bunker were up and awake, they all found Castiel hovering around the war table, writing something down. Dean, Sam, Mary, and Jack just stopped in the doorway, staring at the map in front of them, with lines drawn and string connecting things, and pictures. The only connection he can't figure out is the LA connection, but the rest of the ideas he has, hopefully pan out. Dean got his boyfriend's attention, tapping him on the shoulder, asking what the hell he's doing, and when Cas stood up, almost excitedly explaining that he may have found something important, it didn't seem to matter that he had been up all night, or that he had terrified Dean when the Hunter woke up this morning to Cas' side of the bed empty. As they stand in front of the board, Castiel asks them questions. Like, where they found the other two Angels. Nebraska, Colorado, and Missouri, which he pointed to on the map. Sam picked up on the pattern, and he stated that all of the states were surrounding Kansas. Castiel nodded, noting that Elika had self-destructed in Cawker City, which is about half-an-hour from Lebanon, and where they have their little secret base. Dean stepped up, asking if Castiel thought that the Rogues were surrounding Kansas, but it was Gabriel who answered with a firm 'yes, we think that is what is happening,'. Having realised that the pattern fit all of the victims as well, Sam's only concern was Marika in Los Angeles. But Lucifer had the answer to that one. He stepped up and grabbed the pen from Cas, who stepped back a little, the three Angels, never so on the same page before, especially the devil. Mary asked if someone had been found in Oklahoma, as that is directly south of Kansas. Lucifer turned back to the board, drawing a line from Marika to Oklahoma City. Everyone was confused, until Lucifer explained that Marika, was not mean to be in LA. She had been tasked with looking after Oklahoma, and was meant to remain there, but having taken the vessel of a state senator, her vessel's 'job' required her to go to LA, which left her vulnerable, and she was killed in LA, instead of Oklahoma, to throw them off the pattern. It hadn't sunk into everyone's minds yet. What the Angels had basically just shared with them, is that the Rogues have surrounded Kansas. They know that Castiel is here, and they know that Sam and Dean are here. Cawker City is probably going to be the best bet for them, because as safe as the Bunker is, this is their home, and Dean doesn't want to bring Angels here.

'So, what you're saying is that… they have Kansas surrounded?' Jack asked, and everyone watched as the two Archangels shared a look

'Yes. They know that Castiel is in Kansas. They know that you're in Kansas, and they probably know that Elika self-destructed in Kansas. Killing each of The Called in these states is meant to send a message,' Gabriel said

'What is the message?' Sam asked, looking between his family and the Angels

'The message is that they know where we are. They know where Castiel is… and they can get to him… just like they got to the others,' Gabriel said, and suddenly feeling unsafe in the 'safest place in the world' Dean stated that they're going to Cawker City.

Secret Bunker

Cawker City, Kansas

Midday

The Impala roared to a stop in the hiding place near their secret Bunker. No one knows about this. It's undetectable to Angels and Demons, except for those who know where it is. Inside this Bunker, the only other remaining Called, Pek from St. Louis in Missouri. He was pacing back and forth, breathing a sigh of relief when he saw that Gabriel and Lucifer had brought the Winchesters with him, having heard good things about the two Hunters. What Pek wasn't expecting… was Castiel. The Seraph hadn't exactly been in everyone's good graces over the last few years, and Pek had been especially hurt by his former friend/brother. After Castiel had fallen, he didn't think he'd survived. But here he is, dressed in Human clothing, pretending that he still gives a shit about all of those in Heaven. Gabriel was about to shut Pek up, but Castiel bet him to it, allowing himself to tap into his powers, being a higher rank than Pek, meant that the Angel would have no choice but to backdown. For the first time in years, Castiel bared the shadow of his wings, as his eyes glowed, and he told Pek that he can 'get in and work with them or get out… Castiel didn't care which one…'. No one really knew what to do. Lucifer was grinning, proud as was Gabriel, whilst the Winchesters were more worried… worried about what this will do to Cas. Once Pek had calmed down, Castiel powered himself down, turning back to look at Team Free Will 2.0, explaining that he's going to 'set up the 'war room' in this place'. Dean didn't stop glaring at Pek, until the Angel left the room. He's not going to turn on them, he just wanted Castiel to acknowledge what he has done to all of them, and how he may have been the one to cause this mess. Also, having Lucifer on their side is going to be of great benefit if they need to sacrifice someone later. Castiel was joined by Dean moments after the confrontation, The Hunter helping him to set stuff up, and stealing kisses as they went along. Lucifer had been, for lack of better phrasing, 'cock-blocking' him for the last four days, and if Dean has to take Cas on this table, right here and now, he will. As if sensing that thought, Castiel raised his leg so that his knee was pressing teasingly against Dean's crotch, causing The Hunter to make a sound in the back of his throat, then growl when they were interrupted (again) by Lucifer, smirking at them from the doorway, arms crossed. He's not above manipulation to get Dean Winchester to fall into line, he's also not above smiting The Hunter. But he won't do that. He needs them (against all his being) to help him track down The Rogues. It is fun to mess with them though.

Elach destos metun foll…. Help us, in danger! Castiel awoke with a start, sitting up in the bed he and Dean were sharing, unfortunately, also waking his Hunter at the same time. The voices in his head (Angel Radio) were still screaming for help, but Castiel didn't know where it was coming from. Dean's hand on his arm, pulling him back down onto the bed startled him, and he felt his grace being called to, like someone was tapping into it to get a message to him. Against the wishes of Dean to 'go back to sleep', Cas got up, and left the bedroom, entering the living area to find Pek and Gabriel, standing in the centre of the room. The three Angels shared a look, then Gabriel disappeared. Cas and Pek could hear the calls, coming from each of their fallen Called partners. Each of their sisters, and brothers who had been killed. They heard the longing of the Angels who had lost their true vessels, and the ones stuck on earth, unable to return to Heaven. Pek was mumbling something in Enochian, Castiel recognised it as a prayer for their fallen friends. The commotion woke the rest of the house, bringing them out to the living area, where they all kind of just stood, as if they too could sense something was coming. Castiel, Lucifer, and Pek all drew their Angel blades, standing in front of the humans, the sounds getting closer, getting louder. No one knows where they are, except for those who had been told. Dean wants to move forwards, help Cas, but he finds himself blocked off by an invisible forcefield, sharing an aggravated looked with Sam, before they start asking what the hell is going on, and why they're all stuck behind a forcefield. None of the Angel's answer, but Lucifer waves his hand, silencing the humans, unbeknownst to them. Suddenly, there is a bang, and the front door is blown open. A howling sound, and then in walks Crowley. He greets them, not caring that three Angels are ready to skewer him, and it takes a lot of talking down from Castiel to get Lucifer to back off. Crowley closes the door, turning back to face them. Lucifer unmutes the humans, and stalks to the other side of Pek. The King of Hell explains that he 'heard the call of Enochian' and came to inform them of the information he had found out whilst stalking around his stocks in Hell. Castiel removes the forcefield, and now in the room, Angels, Demon, and Humans are about to collide.

'What… is the information that couldn't wait until a decent hour to be shared Crowley?' Sam asked, exasperated, wiping a hand down his face

'The Rogues are using this as a distraction. They have a mega base set up somewhere on the East Coast. Unfortunately, none of my demons have been able to get close enough, without being killed by Rogues,' he said, glaring at Lucifer, who was smirking

'WAIT! You're telling me, that this is just one of their main bases? They have another one… a bigger one… on the East Coast? Well, that's just… great…' Dean said, kicking the side of the sofa

'Lucifer, go with Crowley, see if you can get close enough without being seen,' Castiel said, nodding to his brother, who smirked and followed the order without complaint, ignoring the ones that came from Crowley, as the two disappeared.

Secret Bunker

Cawker City, Kansas

Afternoon

Cas is currently straddling his waist, and all the sensations from the Angels ministrations are running straight south of his body. Dean bucks his hips, moaning into the sensation, running his hands up Cas' back, under his t-shirt. They haven't had the chance to be intimate like this in what feels like forever, what with constantly dodging threats from Rogues and finding time in between working on their normal cases. Lucifer and Crowley have been on the East Coast, staking out the Rogues, trying to find out information they can use. The demon called to check in, stating that he 'hates working with the Devil…' to which they heard chuckling in the background. Dean removes the shirt Castiel is wearing, throwing it across their room, letting the Angel remove his own, copying the action, before the feeling of skin on skin sends them both almost insane. The Angel kisses down his Human's torso, stopping at the waistband of the jeans Dean is wearing, smirking up at the Hunter, who is silently begging him with his eyes, moaning loudly when Cas finally takes his pants off, and gets his mouth around him. Since they got together, Dean has discovered a lot of things about, not only himself, but also his Angel. For example, Castiel is really good at blowing him. Like, exponentially amazing. Dean has had blowjobs before, Cas' take the cake. He has also discovered that Castiel has many different 'kinks' if you will, and Dean can't wait to explore those with Cas as well. Dean is broken out of his thoughts when he feels the first finger, scream/moaning Cas' name, as the Angel bends the finger hitting the perfect spot and smirking around the cock he's still blowing. Mary, Jack, and Sam had gone out to rendezvous with some other Hunters they're hoping to get on board, and Pek… well Dean isn't sure where the other Angel is, last he heard, he was in the makeshift gym area. Once again, Dean is brought back to reality when he feels another finger enter his hole, and he has to stop himself from screaming as he arches his back into the touch, panting now, and begging for Cas to 'just fucking take him'. Smirking, the Angel releases his boyfriend with a 'pop' and removes the fingers, which Dean whimpers at, before he realises that Cas is planning to replace those fingers… with his big, beautiful, humongous cock. Castiel covers the loud moan with a kiss, entering Dean and planting himself, balls deep in the Hunter's ass. He stills for a moment, allowing Dean to adjust to the intrusion, before pulling out, and plunging himself back in, hitting the perfect spot, and making his Hunter preen.

Castiel came first, shooting inside of his boyfriend, filling The Hunter up fully, before collapsing onto the naked body, the final few thrusts sending Dean over the edge, shooting up between them. Cas licked Dean clean, before pulling out, and falling beside him on the bed, covering themselves with a blanket, and just snuggling together. The eldest Winchester sibling was in that nice place between asleep and awake when he heard a banging, and shot to his feet, pulling on clothes, and grabbing his gun. When he got to the living area of their secret hideout bunker, it was obvious that a gun had been shot. Mary, Jack, Sam, and Crowley were standing in the room, whilst Pek stood in front of Lucifer, a gun pointed at the Devil, who was unaffected by the bullet, and smirking at the gun wielding Angel. Castiel stood in between them, trying to talk Pek down. The Angel spoke in Enochian, asking how Castiel could 'knowingly work alongside Lucifer' and when Castiel answered, no one was expecting the words that he said. Not even Lucifer. Dean made his presence known, by demanding to know what was going on, just as Pek handed Castiel the gun. It was another few tense moments, and then Sam was reiterating what had been said to the second last remaining Called, that he's either 'in or out' and if he's in, he has to work with Lucifer. Dean slowly made his way closer to Cas, but he need not have worried, because Pek stormed off to his room, slamming the door closed behind him. Sam took the gun from Cas, who rolled his eyes at Lucifer's stupid comments, before flicking his brother and asking him 'what he was thinking'. Crowley answered that, then cowered behind Dean when the Devil turned to glare at him. Apparently, Lucifer had found some information that was going to help them. Heading into their makeshift war room, he explained that he and Crowley had managed to locate what they think is a main 'base of operations' for the Rouges East Coast workings. Pinpointing the entire thing to the shipping yards, near New Jersey. Dean and Sam were confused as to why they had spent all of their time surrounding Kansas, and trapping them in, if they had this big thing going in New Jersey, but Lucifer couldn't answer that. He had been trying to infiltrate, but he's so recognisable to everyone, that he couldn't get close enough without setting off alarms. Crowley also noted that none of his Demons were able to get 'within three feet' without being smite on the spot. Cas looked at the location on the map, the shipping yard is on the Jersey side, but the Warehouse is in New York. So, they have the entire bay locked up. Gabriel appeared suddenly, dripping wet, and trying to catch his breath, as he struggled, Lucifer went over to him, placing a hand on his brother's shoulder, and drying him, allowing Gabe the time to breathe.

'There have been whispers that The Rogues are planning an attack on an Earth-based Angel church, which is run by Angels,' Gabriel said, moving to the side of the table

'Where is this church?' Sam asked, grabbing a highlighter

'Quincy, Ohio,' Gabriel said, and each of the occupants of the room turned to look at Gabriel

'Ohio? That breaks the pattern… is this a trap Gabriel?' Cas asked, but the Archangel just shook his head, and Cas was able to sense that he was telling the truth, nodding to the Winchesters who put a plan into motion.

Quincy Pines Motel

Quincy, Ohio

Morning

Cas, Dean, and Sam had decided to head to Ohio, leaving the others behind to coordinate with their network of friends who were coming on board to help them out. The Impala roared to life, as things felt like they had returned to normal, a hunting job, the three of them together, and Dean's loud and obnoxious music, that Sam 'pretended' to hate, but Castiel always saw him singing along to some of the songs. They had left before the crack of dawn, wanting to get there early enough to try and save these people. Gabriel had gone ahead, warned the church that they were coming to help them out, and had prevented Lucifer from going, given the chaos that that might incur. The Devil had rolled his eyes, but stayed back to keep an eye on Pek, and help out when he can, as he is the self-proclaimed 'most powerful' of the Archangels. Gabriel rolled his eyes, made a face, and gave his brother the finger when he wasn't looking. In all honesty, Castiel had been so taken with the situation, that he forgot that Lucifer was the Devil, and Gabriel had abandoned them in Heaven, and things just seemed like normal. But now that they're almost in Ohio, and Sam has begun spilling information about the church and the Angels who run it, Castiel was back in Hunter mode. Some of the names that Sam mentioned, he noted, were on The List. Dean and Sam shared a look, then made it known that neither of them like this situation and were afraid they were 'walking into a trap'. Cas shrugged his shoulders. He couldn't know for sure. He hasn't had much to do with the Angel church, most of those in Heaven thought it ridiculous to display such apathy to the humans, to have this place of worship, where Angels were placating to their vessel's everyday lives and jobs, instead of just being Angels, and doing what they were meant to. It's not to say that the church itself hasn't done great things. It has. It's just ridiculous that they would take such an antiquated ritual, and put it to use on Earth, when God had been the one to make that a thing, where people would go to worship him… to worship Michael, or Christopher, or anyone of the other Archangels. Look how that worked out? What has Chuck done for this earth? What has he done for Heaven? He has done nothing. Castiel tried to remember the reason they were actually here, but he found himself unable to focus on anything other than his hatred for Chuck. They arrived at the motel, and Sam checked them in, leaving Castiel to stew for a while in his hatred, before announcing to them their rooms. Dean parked the car, and they all entered the room, immediately setting about getting to work.

Dean, Sam, Castiel, and Gabriel all met up outside the St. Quincy Wholesale Church, each of them dressed in what Dean affectionately calls 'monkey suits'. Cas had asked why they call them that once, but the Winchester's had just shrugged, not really knowing that that it was a 'common thing'. Gabriel was the most uncomfortable, Cas could tell. He was trying to maintain that arrogance that he had, but it was hard for him in this stupid suit. They were meeting with an Angel who goes by the name Elay. He is one of the most powerful Seraph's, and the only Angel who can terrify the Rogues, (this according to Gabriel who was smirking when he told the story). Entering the church, Castiel noted that it had been fortified with Enochian runes, to protect from Rogues entering. However, if they're going to attack, those Runes aren't going to be of much help. Elay, in the body of a young man, the same height as Castiel, with brown hair appeared in front of them, greeting Gabriel cheerfully, before turning to look at the fallen angel. Elay had never been a fan of Castiel, even when they were in Heaven, or fighting alongside one another. However, they had always remained civil. Now though, Elay manages to struggle through a 'hello', before turning to the Winchesters, basically bowing to the both of them, admitting that it's 'an honour to meet them'. Dean feels awkward, but shakes the guy's hand, as does Sam, who is much less awkward, but still cautious. Gabriel asks Blay to explain to them what this church does. Whilst he is talking, Castiel takes note of all the vessels (and Angels) wandering around. There are at least thirty of them, from those thirty, he sees three who are on The List. Protection is the best thing they can do, but they are only four. They need a bigger army. Gabriel and Mary had been working on getting more people to come and help them out, but it's hard when no one really wants to put their life on the line for Angel's, or work with Lucifer. Regardless of that, Mary has been able to get a fair few on board. Elay stops talking, and looks at Castiel, who just replies with a 'no' to whatever question the Angel had asked, showing that he was still paying attention. Dean asked about the amount of Angel mojo they had with all the members of this church, but Elay firmly stated that he's 'not going to ask them to fight'. That made Castiel stand up suddenly, hearing a whistle, looking at Gabriel and Blay, who both nodded.

'Dean, Sam, I believe we're about to come under attack,' Cas said, retracting his Angel blade, as Elay rounded up all the other Angels

'How many are there Cas?' Sam asked, grabbing blades for himself, and handing one to Dean

'At least four. Gabriel, we need those other Angel's to fight,' Castiel said, and the Archangel nodded

'Try and hold them off. I'll talk to Elay. Cas… be safe,' he said, and Cas nodded before Gabe disappeared into a back room

January 1st, 2018

St. Quincy Wholesale Church

Quincy, Ohio

Midday

The doors were thrown open, the rain was pouring down, thunder and lighting could be heard as well as flickering lights. Dean noted that it reminded him of the night he first met Castiel, and turned to look at Sam, who nodded. Castiel stood in front, stationed like a solider, waiting for an order. There were four people, presumably Rogues, now approaching them. They seemed less appealed with the other Angels or their vessels, and more appealed with Castiel, who could sense the change in target immediately. Elay appeared suddenly, followed by Gabriel. Figuring they were out powered, the Rogues stopped, turning to look behind them as another figure began walking towards them. Castiel, Elay, and Gabriel immediately, and simultaneously said 'Solomon' which caused the Rogues to turn back to face them, as this 'Solomon' character came to a halt just in front of them. He muttered something in broken Enochian, smirking and going to strike Castiel, only for Elay to send him flying backwards, into the waiting Rogues. The three Angels took fighting stances, Sam and Dean were unsure of what to do. However, it was soon made clear that the fight was going to happen whether they wanted it to or not. Gabriel sent an electricity ball towards the Rogues, it was rebounded, heading towards Dean, but it hit Castiel, whose eyes glowed with power, as it was sent back to a Rogue, and was fried with it. To be honest, it was a turn on for the Hunter, but he didn't have time to dwell on that, as they were attacked from all sides. Elay and Gabriel were tag teaming with Solomon, whilst Cas, Dean, and Sam took up the other Rouges, who were bouncing around, trying to help Solomon, but getting pummeled by Team Free Will. Sam held on to the last Rogue, Dean plunged the blade into the Angel, watching the vessel light up as the Angel was expelled to The Empty, then they turned to find Elay, Gabriel, and Solomon. Castiel moved over to them, preparing to help, but Solomon threw him across the room, where he hit a wall and landed in front of the Winchesters, Gabriel stabbed Solomon, who disappeared, whilst Elay went to make sure the others were safe, and that Solomon was really gone. Cas groaned, Dean was helping him to sit up, noting that he was bleeding from his head. Sam knelt down beside them, looking up at Gabriel who had a pained look on his face before Elay returned with the other Angels who had been hiding. Knowing that they were no longer safe here, Blay had commanded them to return to Heaven.

Just as they were about to leave the church, Pek arrived, drenched from the rain, spouting off words in Enochian and English about the Rogues coming again. Gabriel frowned, Dean asked how he had gotten here, whilst Elay prepared the Angels under his care for departure to Heaven. Pek kept shouting, pushing past Gabriel, grabbing Castiel's shoulders, begging him to hear him. It only took a moment, then Elay was shouting for them to get out. Pek's eyes lit up, Castiel begged him not to, told him that there was 'another way', but the other just pushed him towards the door. Gabriel was pulling Castiel, threatening to carry him if he didn't follow. They had just exited the church, seeing about thirty more Rogues pile in, and then there was an explosion, the power of which sent the Winchesters, Gabriel, Elay and Castiel flying towards the Impala. The church had basically been obliterated, up in smoke, flames billowing from every crevice. Castiel got up, pushing Gabriel off of him. Pek shouldn't have been here. All these Angels, self-destructing themselves… it's not how it's meant to go. Elay shouted that they needed to 'get out of here', and Gabriel grabbed Cas' arm, yanking him back towards the Impala, shoving him in the backseat, before flying back to the Motel, to ward it against Rogues. Sam drove them back towards the motel. Dean sat in the back with a near catatonic Castiel, who just stared off into nothing whilst the brothers shared concerned looks in the rear-view mirror. Elay and Gabriel were waiting for them when they returned. Cas didn't say anything as he entered the room, just removing his trench coat, then proceeded to kick over the chair in anger, falling to his knees, head in his hands, muttering a prayer for Pek in Enochian. Elay told Gabriel that he had gotten most of his Angels out in time, they're in Heaven under guard, but free to roam. There had been little time for debating whether or not to return those Angels to Heaven, it had happened so quickly, and the fact that Pek had shown up was cause for concern. Gabriel had been trying to contact Lucifer for two hours, to ask him why Pek had shown up here, and more importantly how he had shown up here, because Pek's wings were still broken. Elay said something unsentimental [as always] and Castiel made a sound, akin to a scoff, standing up and turning to face his two brothers, and the Winchesters.

'What about Pek hmm? You managed to get all the Angels out, but you couldn't save him,' Castiel said, advancing on Elay

'Careful Castiel, you wouldn't want to say something you'll regret' Elay stated

'You are careless. You are a martyr. You leave Heaven, you take all of these Angels, and you open yourself up to being discovered… all of this could have been avoided, but you… you had to be the 'good guy', you had to take your ego and make pride more important than the lives of our brothers and sisters,' Castiel said, still advancing on Elay

'I WILL FIGHT FOR HEAVEN AND THE ANGELS UNTIL THE DAY I AM SMITE CASTIEL. YOU… you fell from Heaven and still, even after the way they have treated you, you still fight for them. Tell me, who is the martyr? Who is the one with the ego? You have killed more Angels in your time, than anyone else. Do not speak to me of being careless Castiel. Do not speak to me of ego,' Elay replied, now standing, matching Castiel's height, but still intimidating… it was so much tension, no one spoke. It was broken by a ringing cell phone.

The Bunker

Lebanon, Kansas

Morning/Afternoon

Two days after the events in Ohio, Gabriel had deemed it safe for them to return to The Bunker, which made Dean very happy, because that is the place where he can lock himself and Cas away, and talk. Since the confrontation with Elay after the battle at St. Quincy, The Angel had been on edge. He fucked Dean a little bit harder and broke down when Dean mentioned that it 'hurt him' which led to a conversation between Hunter and Angel, about both of them sharing their feelings more. Castiel had apologised, and Dean had forgiven him, even though he knows Cas didn't mean to hurt him. Regardless, his Angel has barely touched him in two days, and now that they're just lying together, naked, under the covers in their bed, Dean finally feels like they're getting a bit of normalcy back. Elay had informed them that he was going to be 'joining their team' because he wants to prove to Castiel that he's not a martyr, or an egotistical dick. To be honest, Pek's death had shaken Cas, more than Marika's or Elika's. When Gabriel had jokingly said that he's the 'last Called' Dean had noticed the look on his boyfriend's face. Gabriel had made it sound like this royal thing, when really, Castiel knows that the Rogue's are ahead now. They know that they're down, because of what happened in Ohio, and they know that Solomon is somehow leading some of these Angels. Gabriel had explained to them who Solomon was in Heaven, with Lucifer chiming in with smart arse remarks about how 'lame' he was, until Gabriel silenced him. To be honest, Castiel had been more open with Dean about Solomon when they were alone, stating that it had been him, when he was, for lack of better term 'corrupted by a desire to win the civil war' that had destroyed Solomon and those that Solomon cared for. Dean made Cas see that it was 'not only his fault' outwardly blaming Crowley for some of the things that went on, as well as himself, for so completely shutting Cas out of his life as he tried to 'move on from Sam'. Castiel was able to talk to him, and he is able to talk to Cas, the rest they can work out together. In the two days since Ohio, there have been more killings, but none of them were on the list, they were just Angels doing their duty on earth. Gabriel, Lucifer, Elay, and Crowley have been in Hell, trying to shake some demons loose, who would be willing to help them out, with Sam reminding them that this would hurt both Heaven and Hell should it go unhandled. Crowley was just happy to know that there is an Angel around who will keep Lucifer in line. As for the Angels, Demons and Humans working together… that remains to be seen.

A/N: Enjoy the rest of your day, and I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Thank you D.
